つんく♂さんから発表があった通り、体質改善のため、秋ツアーの最終日を以て、
モーニング娘。を卒業する事になりました。
これは自分で決めた事です。でも重傷じゃないんで、絶対直ると信じて、治療の期間を作って、
治療に専念をして、キレイな女性になりたいなと日頃思っていたので、そういう想いを込めて
決断しました。
でも私は、ライブが大好きです。だから今日と秋ツアーも、最終日までみなさんと歌って踊って、楽しい時間を過ごしていきたいと思っています。

This is crazy! I knew it was feeling too 'comfortable' over the last years, even with Koha's graduation, but a triple grad?! INSANE!!!!!!!
Two great singers join too :( I'm really shocked by Junjun & Linlin, sure I don't pay much attention to their shows and stuff now, but from the music, it seems like they were just getting a chance, esp Linlin :cry:
I'll miss their huge personalities too, OMG no more Linlin dancing to Kpop T_T I wish them the best and interesting to see what they all do from here :) :heart:

Haven't paid much attention to Momusu since Koharu's grad, but this really was unexpected. If anything for the fact that THREE girls are leaving all at the same time. Especially Kame, considering how popular she is. But her excuse is quite valid, I guess. And it shows how it's not exactly glamorous being an idol.

I am truly shocked by the news, but it leaves a lot of unanswered questions to Jun and Lin, but for the Kamei condition that is really serious and I hope them for all the best.
I was talking to my partner (Adogg) about this today in fact as the rumors of 9th gen auditions were going to be in play after Koha's graduation but as that doesn't seem to be the plan and with this, it will probably leave them with a gaping hole as I have seen them grown since I had become a fan and the question was who and I ruled out Ai and Risa because even for how long they have been there, 1) Ai hasn't become the longest serving leader 2) They are primarily the best they have at the position considering if one or either did leave 3) The potential for all was still in question as maybe Reina or Eri to be leader if both left.
The other thing that came up was 8th generation hasn't really been pushed onto the scene, as Jun put it, Lin and her were stage left and stage right. However, I see this as an opportunity for both to shine as solo singers or a duo and hope they can break through, now I have so much in my head now as to see it and just something surprising

I still know very little about H!P and especially the members, which is why this news hit me all the harder. Eri, JunJun and LinLin were three of the only members I actually know. LinLin, with her k-pop dancing, JunJun, with her hidden bikini bum and Eri, with her thunder thighs and hotness on stage that shirenu so described in her Paris report. I don't really post when it comes to H!P related things, simply because my knowledge is very limited, but this is a shocker :shocked
I wish all three of the girls much luck in the future :thumbup :)

Kamei = skin problems which result in itching. Sweating and changing into different costumes are bad for the skin (irritation) so she's leaving MM. Its been like this since the start and they were trying to treat it but I guess it just got worse.

Hope the best for the 3 girls.
Hearing about a graduation isn't suprising at all, since they've kept the same roster for so many years.
But I bet a lot of fans will still be sad from hearing Kame graduating. Last concert I went to had a lot of Kame fans.
JunJun and LinLin leaving also takes away alot of wacky moments. :cry: At least they were successful as chinese singers in Japan, which is something not many people can say.
Sad thing is MM will also drop down to 5 members till new members join, the original debut number.

I was wondering when this day would come, unfortunately (or fortunately?) it's not how I expected. (lol?) I completely understand Eri's reason but JunLin's leaving too? I was just about to revive E-E.net again until this happened. I think I'll still go through with it. I had a feeling Eri would be next because I know Takahashi won't be graduating anytime soon. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to see her and MM live last summer and that was enough to satisfy my goals as a long time fan. I hope she recovers and hopefully comes back again.

I was thinking about the auditions. For those of you who remember, I really enjoyed watching the previous auditions on Hello! Morning back in the day. Seeing the audition process, the girls crying during voice and dance training, and the awkwardness of being in front of the camera for the first time was really fun.
Hopefully they'll show this upcoming audition on Bijo Gaku.

As Tsunku♂ said, I will graduate on the last day of the Autumn 2010 Tour from the Morning Musume。 to focus on my health. It is my decision but let me reassure you, my condition is not that serious. I just wanted to focus on my recovery for a while because lately, I was thinking a lot about how I could become a pretty woman. I took this decision with that in mind.
But I really love to do concerts so today and until the Autumn Tour, I am counting on you to sing, dance and have fun with me.

As long as all of them are doing what is right and continue to work hard. I have no doubt in my mind that LL and JJ will be successful with whatever they chose to do after this. And as for Eri, we can get married now, guess this is why my gf broke up with me, to prepare. Wishful thinking aside, I know she will find her way, and she hopefully knows that she will always have a place in our hearts.
Thinking back on the tanasayueri training videos, and when LLJJ was new, much have changed since. Who believed those quiet girls would be like this? And just imagine where they will go from here.

Holy fuck. This must be what it feels like to have been a fan when this type of thing was happening more often. I still remember last year when Koharu's graduation was announced, though the shock wasn't as big as it is now because I was still a noob and it was only one person...this time around I feel it even more.
Damn, I never would've thought that Eri would have it that bad since she's always looked healthy even in those casual blog photos. Just as she was becoming more prominent in the singles, too.
Jun/Lin is the real shocker, though. I understand that the whole "foreign exchange student" label meant they were just an experiment anyway, but it also seems like so much wasted potential considering how things turned out with them. Shit, even I kinda wasted potential in that I've only mentioned my "LL and Cool J" nickname for them just once (is it too late for it tp catch on? XD). And still no Jun photobook??? I've never really paid attention to the Chinese entertainment scene, so I hope I can somehow still catch wind of what they're up to in the future. Have 'em work with Zhang Ziyi or something!
9th gen audutions...now this is gonna be the weird part for me, after already having been aware of a graduation as it happened. I hear the targeted age range is 10 to 17...why so young? The whole group will be over 18 by the time the new girls show up; they should at least raise the lower limit by 4 or so years. And then you gotta think about how that long period of relative stability is finally coming to an end, along with how Ai and Risa are still around coming up on a decade of service...dammit this is too much for me to take in at 4 in the morning while typing on my phone!!! XD I'll look into more of this in the morning.

As much as I hate to hear that they're graduating, I'm blessed and honored to have my dream come true by meeting them, getting their autographs, and getting my hand held by Eri's hands :)
At least now this gives Eri the time to recover from her condition...but then again what else is there to see? She's already beautiful now, but if she wants to recover, then let her. Whatever makes her happy.
With JunLin, at first it took time to get used to them, but now Junjun is just yummy and Linlin is one of the most adorable things ever. Sucks that Tsunku decided to have them graduate too. Whatever the two do back in China, I will support them.

Thing is, when Koharu's graduation was announced I was devestated as just that evening I'd listened to her songs and remembered how much I liked her and basically decided she was probably my favourite member- only to be told she was leaving OAO;;
But Kamei Eri, Junjun and Linlin have never been in my top 3 ; n ; so really, I'm not too sad about any one of them leaving- but I guess those 3 at once... it feels like they're taking too much from the group at once ; n ;
However- I am excited for the 9th gen ; u ;
I hope for a couple more members about 17 so I can be the same age as them and grow up with them XD

YEEEES!! Junjun and Linlin are graduating!! Honestly, I feel happy. I think they will do better in China than in Japan. They have also mentioned a lot of times that they miss their family and there country.
About Eri, It´s kinda sad. But atopic dermatitis can be really problematic (I have got the same problem). Wet clothes or stress provocates the skin a lot. She made the right decision, though. Health is still more important than an idol career.

Personally, I'm not shocked at all for JunLin, since when they joined it was said that it was temporary. I'm actually surprised they were in the group this long.
As for Eri, she's been my fave since Nacchi left, but I'm just glad that she's finally getting her condition treated. We've all seen it since ages ago, it was noticeable in many pics over the years and it does look like something that would be uncomfortable to live with. She deserves the chance to finally see her skin go back to normal if possible. Hopefully she'll get to do some MC'ing or something on the side, so that we can keep seeing more of her over the years.
I really dislike group graduations though... I think Eri deserved her own graduation after being in MM so many years. And JunLin came together, so they could've had their own chinese-themed grad or whatever lol

As for her activities after that, I intend to discuss with her after her full recovery.
Just because Konkon was the first to re-enter Hello! Project after leaving doesn't mean she'll be the last!

Since the beginning they've been called "Exchange students" which always gave me a sense that they'd be sent back sooner rather than later.

Junjun and Linlin had been in Momusu for so long, I'd forgotten they were only "exchange students". Mind you, I'd also hoped Tsunku/UFA had forgotten. I'll miss them, I thought they'd grown out of their "exchange student" status into full-fledged members.
As for Eri, I hope that her graduation will bring her recovery. She's such a weird sweetheart, I'll miss her so much!
I hope Tsunku considers Sengoku or some of the older Eggs who have been in the background for 6 years now. Pity Nocchi graduated.

I feel like I'm just gonna end up repeating what I said in my previous post; in short, the departure of "LL and Cool J" is more disheartening than Eri leaving, who's been enduring through health issues for 8 years and is in dire need of a vacation. I still remember watching the Utaban from this past February as well as the appearance on Sanma's show (both of which I wish I could watch again right now but can't) and thinking that Morning Musume really needs the Chinese girls to stick around...and yet it's them who are up next to leave??? Not just the group but H!P and Japan altogether???
The new auditions does bring hope, especially with the news that the Eggs are also up for consideration. I always thought the whole Egg program was meant for this kind of thing, to serve as a farm system for up and coming talents, so I do hope someone from there gets in. I gotta warn you, though: if Kikkawa is picked up be prepared for a nonstop barrage of "Yuu and Ai" puns. :twisted: But I seriously hope that whoever they bring in can match or surpass the pedigree of those who are leaving.
The idea of Eri actually coming back to be part of the group does seem intriguing. But who knows what the group will look like by the time she returns, if ever that happens. An even crazier thought: they get rid of Eri and bring in her sister to take her place! And no one can tell the difference! XD
I read a post in the H!O forum how this whole ordeal is actually a good thing, because graduations and auditions are what Morning Musume is all about; as a new fan who never experienced this before, I'm definitely looking forward to how this whole thing plays out. It's been 4 years since the last audition, so it's about time things got shook up.

for eri it understandable and it all kinda makes sense as to why she was mostly given long sleeves and such for concerts
for the pandas... idk what to say... i mean i haonestly thought that they put that s"tudent exchange" thing just cus they were forigners... and plus if that was the case im sure the girls would'nt have tried so hard to make themselves known and even go as far to complain that they dont get any spotlight....
im still pretty shocked... and im like brimingtears but i can even cry from how 3 girls in 1 go are leaving...

Heh heh, I love it... I wonder how many of the more recent MM fans understand that that is just how MM got started!? At the time I am sure many pple thought he was nuts... but... somehow the guy has survived now for more than 13 years doing this kinda stuff, so watch this space and his coming moves with interest.
'Course, guess we're all expecting the day when he just decides to lose interest and close up shop totally. Hopefully a long way off! Anyway, so that we can separate our mourning for Eri and JunLin's departures from our hopes for the long-overdue 9th Gen, I will start a separate thread (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=25995.0) for that event and let's see if the positive possibilities can generate some new enthusiasm for the future of MM!!

Now that some time has passed, I can throw in a few cents. Firstly, in Eri's case, we all need to to remember as much as it sucks that this has to happen, it's her well-being that must take priority. Her skin condition hasn't exactly been a secret, as it's been talked about (at least online), off an on by many different fans in different places. Hell, I remember members talking about it in JPH!P's very own chat room in the past. Of course, most of us at the time figured that it was just "a mild rash" or a mild case eczema, for sure no one ever thought that it could possibly get this serious. Fact though, it has, and if a substantial break is what Eri needs to properly deal with this, then that's what she needs.
We all obviously wish for her to fully recover and hopefully, some day, return to the entertainment biz. Even with all her experience as a singer, Eri still has (at least IMO) a lot of potential to become an awesome entertainer overall (or at the very least, a hilariously cute "aho").
Now as for JunLin, for me personally it's pretty hard to see either of them go, let alone both of them at the same time. As I mentioned in posts I made in their respective GOTW threads, I was drawn to both rather quickly soon after they joined the group and they quickly became two of my favourite members, not just of the current lineup, but of all time. However, as has been mentioned here in this thread earlier:
since when they joined it was said that it was temporary.
Since the beginning they've been called "Exchange students" which always gave me a sense that they'd be sent back sooner rather than later.
I still remember the episode of H!M where Tsunku (via VTR), told JunLin that they were going to be joining MM. Junjun was still largely relying on a translator, so she had this cute, clueless look on her face, while Linlin started giggling in disbelief and (I believe) just said "majidesuka"/really? I also remember the subs for that ep specifically translated part of what Tsunku said as "joining as exchange students." Like Slack said, referring to them in that manner definitely gave the impression that even though they were now in the group, that it wouldn't be permanent. Now granted, we all know that that's how it is when you're in MM. The members, and we fans all know that their time within the group is bound to be limited and that one day they would be leaving it. However, this was the first time where that fact was emphasized that strongly right at the beginning when a new member was JUST joining the group.
Now, the pragmatist within me thinks that in all likelihood, their graduating from the group is simply because their working visas (or whatever it is that you call the Japanese equivalent) have likely expired/are going to expire. Remember as well that a little while after JunLin joined MM, UFA made the announcement for their H!P Taiwan branch (if you can call it that), they had the auditions for and formed Ice Cream Musume and Ojousama/Da Xiao Jie. Who knows? It could be that JunLin's tenure in Japan with MM was, at least in part, to help train them to eventually join (possibly even taking a major/substantial role in) H!P Taiwan.
One can hope.

I'm definitely bummed about the grads, but I suppose I'll have to accept it. I was kind of getting back into Morning Musume... but I can't lie. This kind of hinders it. I'm not a HUGE fan of any of the remaining members now, save for Sayumi. Eri/Jun/Lin definitely held some top spots.
I guess the 9th gen will be interesting. I'll try to keep up with that in hopes with get some new, awesome members. :heart:
On the other hand, however... Someone had mentioned the idea of "What if Tsunk got rid of the idea of Morning Musume altogether?" Like graduated everyone and gave out solo careers and new units. I'd actually be down for that idea, if I could trust that members that weren't Takahasi and Reina wouldn't go by the wayside.

before koharu joined them, with 6th gen as their latest members, that huge team :cry:.. Everytime i see one of them graduating, I started missing MM era 2003-4ish (still hard to move on).
Well, i'm not a huge fan of JunLin since the start. But hell, they served us good. And Eri :cry: girl, i remember how i got a huge girl crush on u.. :banghead: This is sucks. I'm sad.

Come to think of it, with the whole work visa issue being brought up, I have to wonder if it was already planned for a while that Junjun and Linlin would be graduating at the end of this year, and that Eri was tacked on because it's only more recently that her skin condition is proving to be too much for her to handle. I also have to wonder if they're actually leaving the Up Front company altogether or just moving to a new Chinese subsidiary similar to H!P Taiwan except on the mainland.

^Yup, but if Linlin gets to sing in China, she won't have to worry about the (still very strong) accent and will probably get to sing songs that really show her skills. Not saying that she will be some single releasing super star singer, but if she does get to do a little singing now and then maybe on some tv shows (dunno what the potential career for her in China is because I don't know that entertainment world), she'll get to do it 100%. She'd never be more than a background girl in Japan no matter how well she sings.
If she was taller she could join some Kpop group :lol: ...

First time watching, my brain totally didnt pay attention to what the girls were saying and only looked out for Yossy's every move xDD
But second time watching... ngaaaws, waterworks everywhere... Ai and Gaki were drowning in tears...
(and yes, I laughed at seeing Yossy's shoulder being higher than Tsunku's shoulder xDDD)
I was actually impressed with JunLin's Japanese. Since I dont follow MM at all since Yossy left, I only knew of how they spoke when they FIRST came and then it was such a big change. Good job to both JunJun and LinLin (:
