French Kiss form comedian trio "Hana no Sanshimai"

It was revaled today that the 3 members of French Kiss became a comedian group, Hana no Sanshimai (Three Flower Sisters), at a secret event earlier this month. Named after flowers - Himawari (Kashiwagi Yuki), Momiji (Takajo Aki) and Cosmos (Kuramochi Asuka) performed some material that they had learned from some of the many comedians that are signed to their agency Watanabe Entertainment. Their performance will be recorded on the CD+DVD2 version of their single released on 9/8.

Some random notes about the PV:
- The song is actually pretty good (I'm a sucker for AKB rock songs)
- PVs with storylines :thumbup and it's great that they actually have guys in that PV
- All three girls look gorgeous :drool:
- Yuki sounds amazing but Mocchi's & especially Aki's vocals sound better than ever
- Legs....
- Yuki's acting seems pretty impressive and I can't wait to see the mini dorama
- I think I might have a crush on Yuki :oops:
- Akiwink was both cute and funny lol
- I wish Mocchi would have gotten more screentime
- I need to start playing baseball asap...

not sure how many copies French Kiss sold today but it seems less than 18,000 copies or so (estimate as the figure doesn't say so in Oricon)
they're sitting on 4th on their debut, one place ahead of SNSD. Am I seeing a big upset?

Daily 4th is great. It's a new unit, so I didn't expect spectacular sales.. with less than 18K in the first day, they can easily break 20K, maybe even 25K, which is pretty sweet for a debut single imo.

edit: forgot to say. I like how like three or four different arrangements of zutto ame kara were used throughout the dorama. Tokyo Friends did the same thing with otsuka Ai's Yumekui :thumbup

Finally I watched this dorama. It would be cool if dorama includes 12-24 episodes. I am glad that Yuki found her special someone :)

For a debut single this is amazing. Both No Sleeves and Watarirouka haven't sold this much yet with a single. Seishun no flag is close at 46K.
How is this possible? Mini-drama? Baseball stuff? Yuki powers?

the comedy skit? fluffy idol skirts? those crazed fans that've waited for a TemoDemo recording for years? :nervous
That last one may actually be real. Check the reaction from the crowd when the music started playing at the Surprise wa Arimasen concert. :lol:
Though Yuki powers may still be the biggest reason!
Whatever it is, it's great news. Let's hope they get a 2nd single. :)
