Synopsis of the first one:
Nacchi sang Takaramono, Megumi Murakami sang Maki's Te wo nigitte arukitai and Nacchi + Takahashi sang Furusato. All of them were accompanied by a live "band" (mostly piano). Nacchi also had a chat with both guests. The one with Megumi got a bit hyper at times, heh.
I'll write my opinions later because I want to go buy chocolate now. Ta ta!

+ Takaramono was super lovely :oops: Nacchi sounded really good.
+ The chat with Nacchi and Megumi was so hyper at times :lol: I just had a wide silly grin on my face while watching it. Megu's singing was pretty good for her age, but there's still lots of room for improvement, of course. And since I love Megumi (she's my 2nd favourite of the kids and I think she ranks 6th on my H!P ranking) I really enjoyed seeing her.
+ It was nice to see Nacchi + Takahashi chatting because I've pretty much never seen that before. I was happy because there was one part in the convo I could understand ok even if my Japanese is still so bad. :D Really great to see these two together.
+ Nacchi & Takahashi Furusato was just awesome. I LOVED it. Both sounded great and it was cool when they sang together at the end. Piano was lovely, too.
So yeah, I really enjoyed watching the first HPH. I'm also looking forward to the next ones since they have really cool people coming up. I'm also curious to see how e.g. chat with Yuko and Airi will turn out :lol: Seems like such a weird combination.

Just finished watching it. It was pretty fuckin awesome. Takaramono perf was nice. I haven't really seen too many Nacchi perfs, so that was a nice change. Not to mention, I love the song. Then there was the talk part with Takahashi. Damn, Ai-chan looked awesome.
Megumi's talk part was funny, especially the part where she taught Nacchi the dance. So cute! Then came Te wo Nigitte. It was nice to see Megumi pull it off quite nicely. I've always liked her singing, but she amazed me with that one.
Furusato perf was just..fucktastic.

Fun show. Takaramono is one of my favorite songs by Nacchi. She nailed the performance right on. Her talk with Takahashi was pretty fun to watch, even though I was distracted by their legs at times. :lol: Both of them were like giggle machines. Oh yeah, and whoever the cameraman was, I appreciate the lovely close-ups of Takahashi.
I haven't seen much footage of Megumi interacting with older members so this was new. She was pretty nervous at first but obviously she forgot about that later on. :lol: She did better than I thought on "Te wo Nigitte...".
Nothing to add about the ending. Now I've got 7 versions of Furusato in my playlist. lol

Not bothering to watch it since I don't really care for the two senior members present, but I downloaded Megumi's solo and as soon as my computer is fixed I shall listen.
I wish there wasn't such a long stretch between episodes, though.

show was pretty awesome. the duet furusato was so great. i don't know any of the h!p kids really so it was cool to see megumi, she sang well

I like all three song performances in this show, just like all others do!
I espically like the fact that they used a pianist to play the music for the girls to sing, instead of using an instrumental recording!

The performances were great!! although abe 's heavy breathing during takaramono become a bit annoying, but still a lovely perf.
I also hope they keep the amount of perfs in each show~

I'm not a big fan of the H!P kids or Berryz. I want to see some MKB & CM pimpage. It kills me to see Tsunku put all his money in the young ones!

This is the first time Nacchi singing Takaramono lives... :).. hope she will sings her songs in the next two episode too. I also enjoy seeing her chatting with Ai-chan.. cos this is the first time i seen them together without the others members.

The show is fucking awesome. It reminds me of Bokura no Ongaku but features only HP artists. I always wanted to listen to more HP songs sung live with live band. It proves that HP still cares about talents afterall.
Nacci is as beautiful as ever. Taka Ai didn't look that good though. Megumi looks so old she's like a housewife or sth.... scary.
The singings are all very good indeed. :)

you couldn't see it as they never did talk to each other face to face (as they both admitted in the show)...makes one wonder, right? (I cannot think of the Haromoni where these two were told to be incompatible - I guess that was some facial features comparison :o)....and usage of keigo(honorific language) from aichan's side was also quite interesting....

I don't think it's that surprising - I could just always sense a fence between the older and younger members, not a hateful fence, but... I feel that maybe 5th gen was so shy at first and became a close group of 4 friends so soon they kind of lost the capability to really connect with the older members. I still think only Makoto + Yossi friendship has kind of broken that border and maybe Rika helped a bit acting as a senpai. But I can't think of any other friendships between the older & younger members, unless Miki counts, but in a way she's an older member, too.
I remember that HM too, that's why it was interesting for me to see them talk like this. But I guess I didn't mention it because I wasn't sure what the HM was about. LOL

and I don't think they will become good friends after this HPH (if I take in account everything Aichan told about Nacchi - she didn't look very happy, but that's the hard part when you have to talk to someone as straight as Aichan :D)

But Mai needs a bit more upbeat song.. I didn't think she sounded that great on this one :(

Ok HPH is now available at Hello! Tracker & I just finished watching it :lol:
For most parts I found the talk with Mai less interesting than the one with Ai. I just rofled when they showed that pic of Nacchi running because Nacchi running is hilarious. And the monkey faces were so bad, LOL!
I was impressed with what Maimi wrote, it was beautiful o_O Requires a steady hand at least :lol:
Nacchi's Takaramono was greatly sung again, but yeah, they could've given her some other song this time. Will she sing Takaramono AGAIN next time? :?
Maimi's voice was really good imo (I was pleasantly surprised), and I liked it that she didn't try to be overly cute with her voice even if the song was so kiddy. Really enjoyable performance for me. And damn, she's BEAUTIFUL! I like her so much after this.
Mai's song... I usually like Mai's voice, but somehow it sounded really annoying in this song. o_O I still love her vibrato though. Also, Mai looked really great in this vid - she sometimes looks a bit old to me, in a bad way, but now she looked her own age and very pretty.

I was impressed with Maimi's performance, Nacchi was good as always, but I thought Satoda's performance was lacking something. I dunno what, maybe her voice sounds better as part of a group.

Of all the 3 Episode, the 3rd one .. Nacchi with Nakazawa Yuko is the most interesting cos there are a lot of laughter between them.. and even though i have never heard of the song "Usotsuki Anta", but i really like it when they sing together. Hope there is a chance to see both of them pair up singing again..:D I'm also so glad that Nacchi is singing her version of Sukisugite Baka Mitai..

I thought Erika did a really good job, even though everyone is saying she went off key, and I only heard her go off-key once on the oohs at the end, and then I think (can't remember) she went back on, but it was the last ooh...
Anyone know who's appearing in the next episodes after the Airi/Iida one? :heart:

HPH 3 was pretty good. nacchi's version of sukisugitte was rockin with the piano! umeda's perf was okay... i dont really like the sone to begin with... the usotsuki anta perf was awesome!

Watched this today!!
Suki sugite was cool, but since the background music was so different it would've been fun if Nacchi had done something a bit different with the vocals for the song, too. Or maybe I've watched too much American Idol lately. :lol:
Nacchi's talk with Yuko seemed VERY interesting. I'd especially like to know what they talked about marriage (I think it was marriage o_o). Both looked gorgeous.
I guess Erika asked Nacchi how many kids she'd like to have, and Nacchi said 2-3?? Anyway, I gotta find out about adoption/sperm donation stuff now so we can have kids. :)
Erika's drum playing was so lol-worthy because that's exactly how much I know about playing drums = very little, so I found it a bit embarrasing, though I know I shouldn't have because it's very cool she's into playing drums in the first place.
As for the song she sang, I think she did okay, but it just always surprises me how cute her voice is. She looks like someone who'd have a low voice, but then this cute little voice comes out. It's weird! I like it, anyway. Never was a huge Erika fan, but I think I like her more now. I think short hair suits her very well.
Usotsuki anta with Nacchi and Yuko was very lovely indeed. I like the song a lot and I love these two women. Yuuchan's just awesome because she puts 100% effort into her singing. I love it how the song was so upbeat. This is exactly the kind of perf I'd love to see more from H!P - an old-school, great song performed with a live band :D
Anyway, HPH was again great to watch. Can't wait for next one.
Still any info on if this is really just 4 episodes or if there will be more??

Episode three was excellent. Not only was Nakazawa awesome (like always), she and Abe really get along well. The whole atmosphere is different from the first two episodes.
And next episode has Nakazawa and Iida, which might turn out even better. I don't actually know what their relationship is like, but Iida was in the first generation, too, so yeah.

[Usotsukianta] was awesome! Yuko puts her heart and soul (like always) into it even more, guess it's because she was one of the original vocals of this song (nacci did the harmony). It's always nice to see H!P members sing with live band, most of us can't attend those dinner shows so HPH is the next best thing :D
There are certain chemistry among the original MoMusu members when they talk....always bring back those nice memories...

As i recall, abe did most of the harmony parts in the original song. nonetheless ,it's an awesome live performance.
ERika's effort is also nice. it was obvious that she as nervous, so that explains her off tone part in the ' ooooh~'s' .
Baka live is great too! they should've put this abe version on her 2nd album.
can't wait for next episode!!!!I soooooo hope that iida will sing sakura no hana ga saku goro!! my fave H!P song since it's release!!!!

Episode 4 was a combination of Nakazawa awesomeness and true Kaorin quality (accept no substitute). Bonus points for Karasu no Nyoubou, which I thought was too much to hope for. I approve.
A Michishige-Shibata meeting can only mean one thing. If there is no discussion of Cyborg Shibata 3, I will consider myself cheated. And they'd better sing a duet of Akai Freesia.

Ok I can't wait for Iki permission anymore, here's my babbling:
So I just finished watching 4th Haropro Hour, hosted by Yuko Nakazawa with Kaori Iida and Airi Suzuki as guests. Yuuchan started the show by singing her first single "Karasu no Nyoubou" accompanied by piano and percussion. Thanks to my early Nakazawa fandom I knew the song (I hardly listen to her songs anymore, I know, I'm bad), but it took a while to recognize it. Either way this version of the song was absolutely beautiful and I had to listen to it twice before continuing watching. Yuuchan's voice is just incredibly lovely.
To be honest, I soon lost my interest when Yuko and Kaori started talking. The language barrier is just too much when neither of the members is one of my favourites. So let's skip to Airi. Airi's not one of my favourites either, but she has the 'freshness' factor that all kids in H!P have for me. I'm curious to learn more about them because they're supposed to be H!P's future. Airi was obviously very nervous in Yuko's presence, you could see it from how she covered her mouth continuously and hear it from her breathy voice. I found it cute how she needed to take a deep breath before playing the... whatever the instrument was, since at least she wasn't trying to hide her nervousness. It was also good she was able to laugh at herself when she messed up a bit at first. However, this also shows Airi still gets very nervous around the older members, which can be cute, but also shows she's not quite as "professional" as the previous C-ute members in HPH. At least I can't remember Megumi, Maimi or Erika get as nervous.
Airi's version of "Boogie Train '03" was pretty good. I think her singing was too loud at times, since there was little or no variation and it just sounded like she was shouting her way through. But with that being said, I really like the tone of her voice and realize she has lots of potential. Also, you could clearly see her young age from her moving on stage. There wasn't much choreography, but the little that was there was so 12-year-oldish. Enthusiastic and clumsy. It was cute, though.
Back to Yuko and Kaori. Again, I mostly ignored their talk, just listened to their loud laughter. When I did take a look at it, I saw Yuko sipping juice and Kaori calling her cute, and thought "...what the hell are they talking about?!". It was pretty amusing, but then I stopped understanding again and had to wait until Kaori started singing. I have no idea what the song she sang was, but it was alright. Her voice sounded fresh and lovely, but when it came to the chorus it sounded like she was pushing her voice too hard - it sounded a bit forced. But overall, it was a nice performance.
Now, the discussions in this episode were less interesting to me than the previous ones (mostly because Nacchi wasn't there, I'm sure), but the music performances were quite excellent and enjoyable. A must get for someone who appreciates the better vocals in Hello! Project. Next week will have interesting performances since arguably the worst singer in Morning Musume's history, Sayumi Michishige, will be hosting the show, and Saki Nakajima who has a somewhat distinctive and weird voice will be a guest. Ayumi Shibata's a guest as well.

Good performances, although for me there seemed something lacking with Yuuko's performance. Her singing was spot-on, I think it was the arrangement that was lacking something maybe. The other 2 performances were good. I also suffer the language barrier although I actually understood one of Airi's questions to Yuuko. I didn't understand the answer though, lol. Watching Airi's performance got me thinking... Why does Boogie Train'03 have an '03 at the end, was that ever explained. I know it was released in 2003 but it seems weird to put the year in the title unless it's a remake or a cover of an earlier version, and as far as I know it's not a cover, is it?

I think this show is really one of the best things they came up with in a long time. Because here you can really hear them sing.
The Singing Parts with Yuko, both Solo and the Duett, were like a dream come true for me. Karasu no Nyoubou is an awesome song.
I'm really looking forward to the future episodes. And hopefully they'll get Yuki Maeda in the show sometimes.

I've only watched 11 mins of this ep (I don't know how long each ep is...never watched them), but I think Sayu did a great job! Nakajima was more chatty than I've expected, which is always a good thing. She can't sing, though.

At least Saki sang her solo better than Sayu :lol: She was a lot better than I expected, though! I wish Ayumi had her own solo, but Akai Freesia was kinda expected... :(

Well, I finished watching the 5th HPH!!
I let my brother hear a bit of Sayu's Namida and he got shivers, the bad kind... Haha! I think she was better than usually, but her voice just can be pretty ear-killing even if she hit all the notes (and she didn't). But no reason to trash Sayu's singing too much, since everyone knows she didn't get chosen for her vocal skills. She was incredibly pretty and cute singing.
I didn't like the parts in SayuShibata discussion where they watched a video from Gatas and Metro Rabbits matches. The conversation was much more amusing with just them talking. At times it looked like Shiba just didn't know how to react to Sayu's randomness. She looked so confused, like "who is that crazy girl?!" :lol: Sayu was very cute and funny, even if I didn't understand the talk.
I was surprised at how well Saki N. handled the discussion with Sayu. She didn't really seem shy at all and asked the questions like she was interviewing Sayu, not just being 'a little girl asking her senpai a few questions'. It also shows that she aims high if her rival is Rika Ishikawa, heh. I also laughed out loud when Sayu tried to do the hula hooping. As for Saki's singing - well, she was flat a lot and her facial expressions on stage can be awkward, however... Her voice is quite weird and I like that. H!P is supposed to have voices like that. I was glad to have this moment to see more of Nakajima because I really didn't have a good reason to think that she should be a part of H!P. However, after seeing her way of interviewing Sayu and hearing her weird, off-key, but interesting voice, I like her a bit more.
More fun with Sayu and Shiba, but nothing I didn't mention before I guess. I give props for them because even if neither of these girls is one of my top faves, I was able to watch the conversation and be amused. As for their Akai Freesia - well, this was actually the first time I got to properly match Shibata's voice with her face (I've heard it in H!P concerts before but really short parts; in HPH you can hear their voices clearly) and I liked what I heard. I like the little warm vibrato thing she has going on, that's how I'd describe it. And Sayu was cute. It's funny how pretty much everyone could guess they would perform this song together :P
In the end, another great HPH episode.

Can't fricking wait!! Sayu's good at this hosting thing, Gocchin is LOVE and I'm curious to see if Chisato can be as funny around a senpai as with C-ute members :P

Michishige as host worked better than I expected. At a few points, she really reminded me of Charmy Ishikawa circa 2000. Some of her comments were so good I think I may have been underestimating her so far.

OMG!! Chisato was awesome... But lacking emotion, but she has such a good voice! She sounds like a cross between Airi/Megu in the song to me, a bit...

Finished watching HPH!!!
The live version of Gag was great indeed, for the band's part. But Sayumi's vocals just suck, period. HEH. Well, it was tolerable for some parts, but the high notes that were so off they weren't from this world were just painful. I don't know why the heck they gave that song to Sayu because it's so fricking hard to sing and she's not one to take huge challenges. Oh well. Sayu was cute, of course.
Something terrible I noticed when Maki's interview started - they've added audience comment noises to the interviews! That sucks! I liked the intimate atmosphere in the previous HPHs when you could only hear the girls and their every reaction, laughter. It was sweet. And now there are stupid audience "whoo" and "whee" and "har har" and "oooh" noises. A really bad decision from whoever-decides-this-stuff.
And again, watching the videos of the girls doing other stuff was boring and didn't really tell much new about them. Please tell me they'll go back to full discussions. Especially since next up are Risa and Eri, who are most likely friends and capable of talking about whatever.
Chisato was okay. I realized her way of talking is kind of weird. I mean, I hardly know Japanese, but the little I knew was no help when I was trying to catch a word or two from her speech. It was just blurry! Her defeating Sayumi in arm-wrestling came as a no surprise since Sayu's just so incredibly weak. Heh. As for her performance, it wasn't much to look at because she just did the same movements with her arms all the time and almost looked like she was about to cry at parts. However, I found her voice likeable, though it "broke" a bit at times... It sounded fresh, better than I expected from her. Oh and I like Chisato, it's just that this HPH interview with Sayu was nothing special. She's much funnier backstage with little Mai. :lol:
Back to Gocchin... Well, I'm tired so I wasn't paying tons of attention here. I think I kept staring at Maki's legs (because they're awesome) and wondering if she's happy. (I just do that a lot with Gocchin.) I loved it when Sayu said FIGHT~ before Maki's perf, it was so random and funny. As for Namida no hoshi, I don't actually listen to/watch Maki's ballad performances often, but this one was very enjoyable. As a H!P fan you can just sometimes forget what good vocals actually are about, but then someone who knows what they're doing starts to sing and you just get all silent and respectful... Uh oh, my point was, Maki's performance was pretty awesome, almost magical. Or I'm just very, very tired.
Shortly put, not the best HPH, but okay.

I don't think Gotou and Michishige have ever really gotten to know each other, because they both seemed so nervous here. This show is all about the atmosphere and the latest episode is lacking in that respect. And the audience noises aren't exactly helping either.

holy CRAP! sayu's gag was just... ah man. entertaining... in a bloody ear sort of way. maki's performance was nice to be sure. the kid was forgetable though as i already forgot which one was on this week... not the best HPH.

She IS a good singer with everything except vocal talent/pitch!
And I thought it started out as pretty good, but those high notes are horrible! :evil: BUT that song is a killer to sing alone, so some props to that. And I think she could've reach it if she went into falsetto, but she never did throughout the whole song :(

Ok, finished watching HPH #7!
Risa's Koi no Hana was pretty good! I don't actually like the harmony clutter in the original version, so it was nice to hear the song with just one vocal melody. I was somewhat disappointed with Risa's performance otherwise though, it seemed like she was in her own world instead of performing the song to others. Either way, she was pretty and stuff.
Once again the talk with Risa and Eri included some video footage which I dislike. So let's skip to Kanna. Her replies mostly consisted of "hai" and "aaa~" so she seemed a bit nervous, but she was so cute! It was funny she accidentally called Risa "Niigaki-chan", although I think it was honestly more a tongue slip than a mind slip. :lol: She seemed to loosen up towards the end too, so I guess Risa has the ability to make the other person relax in an interview. I also think Kanna's reactions to Niigaki were funny at times.
Kanna's version of I WISH was vocally pretty bad, her voice is kinda whiny and not that strong. However, there was obvious change in her voice and the mood of the song when the chorus started and for some reason her performance was pleasant to watch. She was actually performing instead of just standing on stage. Loved the smile on her face. I felt the performance was more than just a karaoke version of a MM song, even if the vocals weren't that good. So Kanna continues to be one of my favourite kids.
Now, I found the talk with Risa and Eri surprisingly boring, heh. So I haven't really got a lot to say about that. Eri's version of 100kai no kiss was pretty lovely, however. I love the little vibrato thing she has going on. I kinda hoped for a bit more strength in some parts though (her voice sounded so 'breathy' at times), but the wow-wows made up for that a bit. In any case I like Eri's voice a lot.
In sum, this HPH was very nice. The talks were a bit more boring than I expected, but the perfs were quite special and cool.

If I was some of these girls (the younger ones, at least), I'd be pretty nervous, too x__x But it's nice that after Airi, the younger girls (Saki, Chisato, Kanna, and Mai) all have a host that's easy to talk to, I guess. Basically, I'd want my host to be someone like Gaki or Eri :lol: They both seem pretty nice and everything to everyone
Performances were pretty good. I loved Eri's, and Risa's was awesome, too. I agree with shi that Kanna wasn't exactly what I expected, but damn is she adorable!! I loved her outfit, too. And she looked like Maimi-Koharu in her performance :o And her voice is like Risako-Nakajima :lol: Her voice isn't that bad, but it could use a bit of work ^^;;
We need a Kanna PB (non-swimsuit!)!!

finally watched ep 7. of COURSE i loved eri and her version of 100kai no KISS, twas terrific. Risa doing koi no hana was pretty awesome too, i dont really agree with aznkid about the pain of listening to it. Kanna was pretty bleh imo. but it was hilarious when she messed up risa's name :lol:

AND HOLY COW IS MAIMAI FREAKIN' ADORABLE! I have to say that, imo, that was the best performance of the girls because she didn't just stand there. Risa was staring into dead space during Reina's song :lol: I absolutely love the live band arrangement for Iroppoi, though :heart: But Reina should have done the cat dance :lol: I wonder how much money they could make if they released a live band album with random songs sung by various H!P members solo?
And Koe sound so much like a lullaby with just the guitar :heart: It's really the type of the song that fits Risa like a glove. Makes me want to hear her sing Namida no Hoshi with the live band :heart:

Ehh...I don't know...it could be. But I actually think that the producers chose the guests for them that they think would be interesting for the show. If they chose someone who aren't close and have never worked together, it could be very awkward for them and that'd affect the show.
But if the hosts actually get to choose their own guests...then my dream might come true. :D

Well, finished watching again!!
Risa's Koe was indeed nice, even if there wasn't a lot of variation in her voice. If she could add more vibrato, it would be great! Either way, a nice performance by her, as I could expect. She seemed more aware of the audience than with Koi no hana, too. As for her looks, I couldn't help but notice her head looked way big with her hair all curly and fluffy like that. It sometimes happens to Nacchi, as well, so I found it funny.
I'm so glad they at least left the stupid video bits out this time and let Risa and Reina just talk. However, I think it would still be more interesting to pair up members who don't know each other very well. Maybe it's just me, but it gets tiring to watch two good friends having fun with each other. It was much more fascinating to e.g. see how Sayumi and Shibata interacted, or how Nacchi and Aichan interacted. Something unique. Could be just me, though.
Little Maimai was a bit more boring than I'd expected. I guess she's only crazy around Chisato or other C-ute members. She was pretty quiet and harmless. Insanely cute, though, as always... I somehow couldn't get over how young she looked, though. Especially during her performance, there's something weird about watching someone who looks 8 dancing and singing. Her singing was pretty good for her age, however. Cute voice, though not unique. It was funny to see she had so much choreography.
Once again, not too much to comment on about the talk with Risa and Reina. When Reina walked to the stage to sing, it creeped me out she was staring right at the camera. It was just so surprising, heh. I was kind of disappointed at her song choice. I mean ok, they're trying to push Reina to the sexy direction, but I'm just not buying it. I thought it was a bad song to perform with a live band and also, don't know if it was just because I haven't listened to the original version a lot before, but I couldn't really grab the melody in the verses, so... It wasn't nearly as good as Reina could do. And can someone tell her just adding lots of "hhhhhhh" to the end of lines won't make your singing super sexy. I just didn't really like this perf, I think she could much, MUCH better. Kinda angers me there's a live band and the chance to perform something good is thrown away with a song choice like that just because UFA or Reina wants more sexy sexy ahh ahh blah blah yada yada.
In the end, I guess Risa really shined in the HPH this time for me, and Maimai was cute. Otherwise it wasn't that great.

GyaO does awesome sites for H!P releases, better than H!P official site itself. They rely on H!P girls for dramas and songs, they interview them, and they even give H!P their own tv spaces like Hello! Pro Hour.
What do you think of this marriage between GyaO and H!P ??

Well, I watched HPH again!
First of all, the talk with Ayaya and Nacchi was so far the best talk in HPH for a viewer who doesn't speak Japanese. I was surprised because my expectations weren't high, seeing as I never thought Aya and Nacchi were very close. I did notice Nacchi made very little eye-contact with Aya, and there was something weird in the atmosphere... Yet they managed to be so funny I enjoyed the talk. Some of the funniness wasn't really intended, though - when Nacchi was explaining something, I noticed Ayaya has the weirdest "eeehhh" replies, so I listened to those and they made me laugh. Also, I absolutely love it when H!P members are tortured with old videos of themselves. I know I criticized showing videos in HPH before, but this time Nacchi and Aya's "enough!! nooo!!" reactions were so funny it was worth it!
Seems like I skipped Aya's performance, but I don't have a lot to say about it. So let's go to Miyabi! Miyabi talked a bit more than I thought, but she was still quiet compared to what she's like around other kids, heh. Her performance was pretty cool, but somehow I was constantly afraid her voice would break (and it did, at least once). Still, I think it was pretty good and I'm still a fan of her voice.
The latter part of the Aya + Nacchi talk continued to be hilarious. I'm not sure, but I think they talked about each other's dialects at one point?? That's what I guessed, but who knows. I found it funny, anyway, because they seemed to be competing at one point. Also, the staring competition was AWESOME, best section in HPH so far!! I don't mind that Nacchi lost because her disappointed face was so cute. The mini "The Stress" performance was cool as well! I must watch it over and over again. I was laughing so much and so happy during the latter part of this talk, I never could've expected it. Huge props to Ayaya and Nacchi for it.
The performance of Kousui was great as well. I was surprised they harmonized, since I can't remember that happening at NUN concert (? did it?). Sounded great and I will definitely play it in my Nacchi show when I get back in Oulu.
To my surprise this might just be my favourite HPH so far. I'm not the biggest Ayaya fan, so my expectations weren't that high because of that, either. But yes, I'd consider this a must-get to anyone who's even a bit curious to watch it.

At times, Miya sounded like Kon o__O;; She didn't do a bad job, but I thought she'd be better...
The parts I flipped through, were hilarious looking by Aya's expressions, but... yeah. Not a big fan of either of the two older girls, but I love Kousui :heart: And their voice fits each other pretty well, and harmony :heart:
Ayaya looked horrible, though... :( (Outfit/hairstyle)

Just watched Risako part of today's HPH and, damn...was it boring! Risako isn't a chatty girl and to pair her up with Goto is just makes things worse for me. If they just went "Nanka nanka" "Abababa", it'd be more entertaining. Risako should've gotten Matsuu like Miyabi did. Someone she actually looks up to. Give Yurina or Captain to Goto or something. Whoo, thanks Dan! Loved Saki's solo. Mari sounded shaky in Furusato (or maybe I'm just getting sick of the song, lol). Summer Night Town sounded a bit like the original, and OH MY GOD! Kei and Mari sounded AMAZING in this song :panda_love:

For some reason it wouldn't play right in my MPC (video kept freezing at around the 10:30 mark). But then I tried it on VLC and it worked fine.

If an avi file is damaged you can make it playable by using virtualdub and doing direct stream copy.
I find though that media player classic can even play damaged files and it can also adjust the ratio by pressing the arrow keys on the numeric pad while the video is playing. I was pleased when I discovered it could do this - no more having to re-encode a video because some idiot had messed up the ratio!

This is a wmv file with a 'bad block' somewere in the middle... the block has to be skipped, not copied.

There's a prog called asftools (http://www.geocities.com/myasftools/) that can be used to repair damaged asf/wmv files. It doesn't always work though but it's worth trying.
You can also use it to make non-seekable asf/wmv files seekable (you may have seen some of the flets/gyao files with the file extension .bsr.wmv - they've been made seekable using the 'basic repair' option with this prog.)

I was REALLY displeased with Yurina's Ai no Bakayaro... At the beginning, she was completely offkey, and it sounded HORRIBLE! Luckily for her, she got back on tune, but it definitely was one of my least favorite kids performances so far :(

Watarasebashi sounded pretty good (a bit weird for her voice), Atsuko sounded a little off in the preview, and Ayaka sounded better than normal (more upbeat of a song maybe?)

Well, it's coz her voice is higher than Miya's. That's why she got Gag100. But low notes are her weak point. She tends to sink while singing in low notes live.

I watched the latest HPH and LOVED it!!
It seemed like so much fun but the game felt rigged lol. I don't think either of the songs were lipsung, it's just koi girl has louder backing vocals.
but i miss the live music part T____T

Songs were pretty bad. Koharu when the alarm thing went off was the highlight for me XD

Songs were below average compared to what they dished out earlier on. But definetely not lip-synced i think because i heard sayu going off tune couple of times during the yea yea yea hani pai ~~, she was in charge of the 3rd yea :D
The talk was very fun, if they wern't Momusu, i swear they could pass off as normal school girls, they look like they were enjoying it so much. At times Reina's accent was so strong that i had trouble understanding what she spoke XD
But it was sad to know that #20 will be the last episode (love Koharu's expression when she blushed after making the exageratted ehhhh :tfr9a7wg: ). #20 if i didnt hear the girls wrongly, would be some kind of a recap of all the aired HPH, except the MC would be the girls from Berryz & C-ute.

Just watched the most recent episode. I skipped the songs since they were pretty unintersting without the live band, but the talk made up for that. Not sure what they had that MC-deciding wheel for, though. >_>
Oh, and Kame looked FINE.
At times Reina's accent was so strong that i had trouble understanding what she spoke XD
She speaks freaking fast! :lol: Not sure if you managed to pick it up, but why did she prefer going to karaoke with her parents rather than friends?

^Because her main purpose going to karaoke is to sing but if she went with friends she would have to listen to them sing as well! XD Ai-chan and konkon barging in suddenly when she was singing was funny as well.
It was also funny how Kamei tried to tone down Reina's use of words :D + her fukuoka accent, Reina is HP!'s official Yankee.

I've watched this a couple times now, and I really think that both performances were completely lip-synched. I dunno, it just doesn't look real to me at all. Usually you can spot lip-synching by watching the person's throat, also it seems like the volume of each girl's voice is constant no matter how far she is from the mike. The songs may have been specially recorded for the show (and maybe in a hurry) but I just don't believe they were singing to the cameras.
Besides, one of the best parts of HPH is seeing the girl's perform with the house band, so it's a little disappointing either way :(
Other than the music, it was awesome however. I loved it when they sped up the table suddenly XD

i think i should go back to learn how to read...looks like i'm the only one who thought it was the kids who ..."sang" Honey Pie ans Go girl...
so now...whatever they sang, it will make me happy :D

Don't know how interesting this episodes are gonna be because the Eri/Shige/Reina/Koha one wasn't that great... But I really hope the one with the kids is loads better!

Judging from wotas' reactions, it was the most boring ep ever. The thread only have about 200 posts. I think the girls were watching old HPH clips or something.

Well, it wasn't boring to me at all. Maybe it was because I've only watched a few episodes, so lots of things they showed in this ep were new to me. And it was nice to see these 4 girls together.

Just watched it. It's nice to see Berryz and C-ute together for a change. And finally a comment from Momo about her pinky challenge! Well, can't blame her for failing. :lol:
Fun episode overall, but no performances was a huge let down.

It was cute how Megumi spazzed when they were watching Chinami's eye-trick thing on the VTR. Then Rika tried doing it and got dizzy (I think?). :lol:

Wow i thought it was going to be a boring finale to HPH, but it was funny to see all those recaps!! And its refrreshing to see 4 former H!P kids chatting which we normally do not get to see at all.
Megu & Airi looks hotter than Momoko & Risako!! Too bad Megu left H!P, i thought she handled the show really well, would have becomed another Yaguchi when she grows up.
^Rika didnt get dizzy, its just that she suddenly realised she shouldnt do all these dorky things anymore that destroys her cute image.XD
