Story
"AKB1/48 Idol to Koishitara..." is a love simulation game like never before. All 48 members of AKB48 appear, and the concept is that you have to choose 1 and reject the other 47. The setting is that all of the members love you (the player), and you have to dodge all of their confessions and attempts to get with you, ending up with 1 girl. The game includes over 10,000 pictures of the girls, 80 minutes of video showing the girls confessing their love to you, and full voice during dialogue sequences.

That looks like some deal if you're an AKB fan. Closest you can get to dating one of them in any case. And there's 48 of them so I'd say there's a lot of longevity!
Now I want a similar deal for MM. Excluding Mitsui. And released before Eri/JunJun/LinLin graduate please!!

The national group AKB48 is presented to you in a game version! A presentation of the game was held in Tokyo. The game is named “AKB 1\48 If you fall in love with an idol” and its aim is to dump 47 girls and choose the one your love.
The ban for romantic relationships is lifted in the game.
You can’t live a single day without seeing the group produced by Akimoto Yasushi on TV or in a magazine.
The girls are proud of their immense popularity as “idols who you can meet with” with the center in a special theater at Akihabara. Now they appear in the first officially authorized game for home use by Bandai-Namco Games (note – which also publishes im@s games). And it is called “AKB 1\48 If you fall in love with an idol”, the software is for psp. The release is planned for Dec, 23rd, 2010 and will be shipped in 4 versions. The ordinary version will cost 5229 yen (taxes included) and its first print will include as many as one photo. The limited edition will be sold at 7329 yen and will contain 3 photos and a UMD disc with approx. 120 minutes of video. The sales will continue till the first decade of March 2010. The title of this version is “A limited edition with additional video”. And finally, a super-box called “AKB 1\48 If you fall in love with an idol – Limited Edition – This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. You can’t buy this at an auction!” The contents are appropriate. A UMD video disc, 10 photos, 2 DVDs with special footage on game-making, approx. 240 minutes long. There will also be a kiss mark sticker scaled 1 to 1, 48 pieces. Beside that you’ll get changeable cases with prints on both sides, 24 pieces in total. The box will cost 10479 yen. More than that, this version will also be bundled together with a special version of the console. This pack is called Premier Special Pack, the console will have a kiss mark on its battery cover and the package will cost 36729 yen.
The presentation of the game that a fan absolutely can’t miss was held on Sept. 14th.

The idea of the game is to “dump 47 girls and choose your only one”. All of the 48 girls favor the MP (aka main protagonist) so you’ll have to avoid “obstacles” on the way to your lady. So you’ll have to dump each girl until there’s only one left.
“I think there has been no game like that before” Mr Hirono says. His statement is followed by deep nods. All in all, this is a great game about idols.
You’ll see live photos, all of the dialogs are voiced. More than 100 thousand photos were taken during game development and you’ll see some 10 thousand of them in the final product. Beside that there’ll be 80 minutes of video including the confession scenes.
As for the game process Mr Hirono didn’t go into details. He only said that “the game is optimized for psp controls” and that “you’ll enjoy interaction with the idols”.
The special guests were Yuko, Tomomi, Tomomi etc, 19 people in total. The game is rich on embarrassing situations. Yuko says that it was hard to record sweet and soppy phrases. And more than that she had to look natural on the photos. She said “it’s not like acting, you have to show your true self here”. Tomomi says that “when we filmed the confession scene at the beach there were lots of people and it was nasty”. Another Tomomi says that “it was embarrassing to express a kiss or pull the face of a girl deep in love”.
On the whole, Yuko says that there are a lot of people among members who like games. This is why everyone gladly accepted the role in the game.

It's better than ANY SIM game and Life is More enjoyable with an actual female!
Basically, GET A LIFE!
Besides... IF you can get the PSP Japan version (which is ONLY sold in Japan), the unit costs over $300 USD (take the premier pack price minus the ltd pack price for the difference for unit cost)! OUCH!

The AKB48 virtual dating game "AKB 1/48 Idol to Koi Shitara..." (PlayStation Portable) is being released this week on December 23, but it has just been learned that the game has already reached 250,000 reserved copies. At this pace, it is predicted that the game will eventually sell at least 500,000 copies.
"AKB 1/48 Idol to Koi Shitara..." was initially unveiled in September. As the first official video game focused on the group itself, it allows players to virtually confess their love to one of the 48 members and turn down the rest of the girls. The game includes thousands of images and more than 80 minutes of video, with all of the girls' lines recorded to audio.
As of December 16, one week before the game's release, it was confirmed that there have been 250,000 copies reserved. According to one industry source, games that get more than 100,000 reservations are typically very popular ones that are recognizable by everyone. 100,000 copies sold is generally considered a "hit," while 200,000 is a "big hit." On that scale, 500,000 copies is a "mega hit." For a niche game like this, already reaching 250,000 copies is highly extraodinary, especially for a game that isn't a sequel in an already popular series.

Some of them are really bad, actually.
There's one Mariyannu one where it looks like she's taking it with a small-ass camera at night. Even though it's in a lighted room.

This allows you to buy JP stuff using Tenso's JP address.
For example, you buy stuff through Amazon.co.jp and have it shipped to Tenso's Tokyo mailing address.
The company would inspect the item, charge a fixed fee and actual shipping costs to ship to your mailing address.
After you pay, via credit card or bank transfer, the company ships the item to use.
I found another JP buying/auction service, www.fromjapan.co.jp (http://www.fromjapan.co.jp).
You register an account and put a deposit from your credit card. It MUST equal or exceed the value of the item you want to bid or buy. You then either bid or buy the item through them. FromJapan.co.jp would then charge a fee for their services depending on the item and then receive the item. It would then charge you actual shipping charges to ship from their warehouse to you in whatever country you are from.
Very similar to Tenso but you can add Yahoo JP Auctions & Bidders websites to the list as they are the middle man and you bid through them.
Once you win an item, you can either pay the item via Credit card or bank transfer or use the deposit as payment.
The unused deposit is returned to your credit card after 20 days automatically :)
Both companies have reasonable fees (considering the high yen valuation).
I'll try to bid on the Premier Pack and/or the Limited Edition pack :lol:
