Title: Child found next to passed-out mom in parking lot

When police found a 25-year-old Lorain woman passed out in a parking lot last night, her 3-year-old daughter informed police that “Mommy is sleeping,” according to a Lorain police report.

Officers went to an apartment building at 1120 E. Erie Ave. around 6:54 p.m. where Amber Connor was sleeping in the parking lot with an empty bottle of vodka and her daughter beside her, according to the report. Neighbors had called police because the girl had been wandering the parking lot as her mother slept.

Police said Connor was intoxicated to the point she urinated on herself, could not balance and could not speak clearly.

Connor was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center where she was treated for alcohol poisoning and released around 10:30 p.m. She was then charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication, endangering children and taken to Lorain County jail.

looks like the mom needs a diaper herself!
