Nikita is an American television drama for The CW Television Network. It is based on the 1990 French film Nikita, 1993 remake Point of No Return, and the 1997 television series La Femme Nikita. It premiered on September 9, 2010, and currently airs on Thursdays at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central Time in the United States.

The series stars Maggie Q as Nikita, a spy and assassin who has gone rogue. She is now working to bring down Division, the secret government agency which recruited her. Meanwhile, Division trains its next crop of young killers.

Just started checking this out! mainly because of Maggie Q (her thread here) (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=3435.0) but its got a pretty dope background story of a new team of recruits and Maggie trying to infilitrate from the inside!! HOT!

Its also good they do not try to re-do the origional (although they do ignore the 5th season)

Maggie Q is a very good new Nikita: looks and brawn

Post by: Hart on November 07, 2010, 02:30:40 PM: I've been watching this since NYCC/NYAF when dai, Ping, Jay, and I wanted to get Maggie Q's autograph but couldn't since the line was full. :(

I haven't watched the original movie or La Femme Nikita but I did watch the Point of No Return and I'm enjoying this new series.

Now I have to wait until the online site posts up the latest episode, hopefully by Monday or Tuesday.
