Hello! Project members are releasing covers of popular H!P songs called "Hello Cover" released on Itunes.

The first member to release cover songs is Kamei Eri. Eri will be singing all 9 songs listed below. her songs will be released on Recochoku and iTunes starting 12/8.
Each member will supposedly cover at least 9 H!P songs of their choosing. which H!P member will be next? who will sing what? stay tuned

This is a really fun project, but I really hope the girls who do this will choose different songs from each other <,<; I probably won't buy all of them anyway, but if everyone do the same songs I'll be even less likely to purchase the albums.

On the Japanese edition of the iTunes store Airi, Momoko and Reina even made it in the single charts~
Currently
154. for Airi's version of Seinaru Kane ga Hibiku Yoru
168. for Momoko's version of Seinaru Kane ga Hibiku Yoru
198. for Reina's version of Seinaru Kane ga Hibiku Yoru
while the list ends at 200.
Maybe other artists and versions were in the charts as well (if they update daily or even in a shorter interval), but I just looked at those for the first time.

On the album charts Eri's full cover album even makes it on #13 :thumbup
I think it's great that they're still popular enough to appear in the list :ph43r: though maybe not soo surprising since they're, so far, exclusive iTunes releases it seems(?)~
