Title: [Poll] What kind of SKE48 Photobook would you like?
Post by: SomethingWild on January 25, 2011, 02:02:41 PM: 2011 is bound to have some cool SKE48 related photobooks, but what kind of PB would you like to see?

I tried to come up with the most likely suggestions; i.e. popular members and releases similar to what AKB48 has done.

Sure they are idols, and most idols do gravure and modeling work. That sexy, fun, revealing side is pretty much established and showcased in almost every opportunity. But what i'm slightly irked about is the lack of photography/photobooks showcasing their performer side. The singing and dancing and costuming side of idols, of AKB, SKE, etc. While there has been a few books in the past, I can only think of, two or three akb pb's that aren't full of bikinis: 1st concert, booklets, JCB, and the Overseas visits PB & SKE side, the one with the deers lol, and those are more of travelouge pbs, rather than a live/concert ones.. since their sudden rise in popularity, there hasn't been much material similar to such.

Considering how awesome looking the past few concerts have been, im really disappointed they didn't capitalized on that (but we're getting a Documentary after all). Point is, i'd love to see more Live/Concert PBs. In my opinion, no matter how HD a video or dvd is, or how jizzworthy the 5.1 audio is, there is something really special about browsing thru photography, its a special kind of feeling that you can only get from printed materials. (abstract i know, but you get the point right?). I really don't wanna compare with other artists, but something like Perfume's Livefolio, is pretty much a good example what AKB/SKE/etc needs.

But personally I feel the opposite way. We have tons of concert DVDs and such, so it's nice that PBs focus on other sides of the artists. To see them in a non-concert situation. It doesn't have to be bikini though, I agree.

Are you joking? It s like you chose her on your own without knowing of community likings, I mean She is not that type of girl who suits for PB and her popularity is kinda low. There are many cute/pretty/sexy girls in SKE48 who deserves it much because of their age/good looking. For example:

Ririna Akaeda, Risako Goto, Rina Matsumoto, Manatsu Mukaida - cute/young
Tomoko Kato, Seira Sato, Takada Shiori - sexy
Sawako Hata - special charm ^^

Although, to be totally honest, I think the girl who would release the best gravure-esque photobook that we mostly see from *48 is Sato Seira, hands down.
