SKE48 joins AKB48 on video service DMM.com
Tue, February 1, 2011 (9:08am EST)
SKE48 is following in the footsteps of sister group AKB48, onto the pages of media website DMM.com. Starting on February 5, videos of their stage performances will be available through the site's on-demand service. DMM.com has had a special "AKB48 LIVE!! ON DEMAND" section since 2009, offering videos of their past stage performances and other bonus clips. SKE48 will get a similar "SKE48 LIVE!! ON DEMAND" section, and their past performances will also gradually be offered on the site. It is being reported that SKE48's videos will be offered for free from mid-February until March 1, when the section fully launches as a paid service.

That's awesome news. It means I won't have to wait for KII to perform their 3rd stage at the AKB48 theater before I see it.

^ Yup, it also means we'll be able to see MC's and other little things which opens up SKE to us even more. Terrific, terrific news. :thumbup
Now if they'd just make the store international-friendly. -_-

Gotta admit, this could be interesting. An increase in possible exposure is bound to bring in more fans; I like. :thumbsup

thanks for this news. cripes, i've been away for so long (about 4 weeks to be exact), i rarely get to login and read all of the stuff happening with AKB and SKE nowadays.
anyway about my question, does DMM allow subscription for overseas? or will i need a japanese IP address to be able to watch SKE live?
i am thinking of making a joint subscription account for AKB fans here in my metropolis so i don't have to shoulder the entire cost.
