We knew this was going to happen, Aki-P doesn't mess around.  :lol:

The group's producer plans to increase AKB48's profile overseas, including Taiwan, where the girls will make multiple appearances on television networks in a concerted publicity blitz.

Additionally, a new TV program kicks off there this summer in which a "localized" version of the group will be created.

The show will document the process by which ordinary young Taiwanese girls are chosen by audition and groomed to become pop idols, a system that will promote the group's music and other endeavors.

:P Hope for AKB and fan's in/near Taiwan that the rumours are true, and that a Taiwanese 48 group won't dissapoint me like Icecream Musume did the other year... D:
