Title: [2011.05.25] AKB48 - 21st Single "Everyday, Kachuusha"

KIZM-93: Type-A Regular
KIZM-95: Type-B Regular
KIZM-90093: Type A Limited (+ Handshaking event ticket)
KIZM-90095: Type B Limited (+ Handshaking event ticket)

and most likely there will be a theater version.

There is a good chance that this is the next Senbatsu Election single!
(if it is, we might get so see NMB48 invading an AKB48 single for the first time!)

AKB48 has just revealed a new release date for its original album “Koko ni Ita Koto.” Originally scheduled for release on April 6 but delayed due to the Tohoku earthquake, it has now been set for June 8, and part of the revenue from the album’s sales will be donated to the rebuilding efforts in the earthquake-affected areas.

The group also revealed some details about its upcoming singles. Their 21st single, currently untitled, will be released on May 25. Like the album, part of the sales will be donated to charity. The single will come in two versions, “Type-A” and “Type-B.” Each version will have a limited-quantity edition with tickets for a handshake event randomly inserted (there will be two designs for the tickets).

All copies of the single will contain a serial-numbered card used for voting in the group’s next “Senbatsu” election, which will determine the participating members for their 22nd single. The vote-counting day and the single’s release date are not yet known.

It does require Firefox + user agent switcher to pull off, though. You have to make the site think your browser is a Japanese language smartphone to make it work. Not that hard, really. Thankfully they've not restricted it to Japanese IP addresses... yet. See here (http://stage48.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=280440#p280440) for an older guide.

lol, it does sound like X Japan. Nice catch.

Stuff life this always make me wonder who does the guitar work on all these AKB48 songs. Some of the older stuff has some really aggressive picking and tremolo work... not the typical session musician's sound, lol.

I'd rather use Katyusha because it sounds prettier IMO, but either way should be fine.

About songs sounding similar to others, I can't help but giggle whenever I listen to 100 mt Konbini as that starting line really sounds a lot like Gimme gimme gimme from ABBA ABBA Gimme Gimme Gimme Lyrics!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6-M63HVR2g#) and also Hung up from Madonna Madonna - Hung Up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGqdw3i5xAA#) :lol:

I really like the song though, although is pretty much the usual AKB style, I feel like the harmonies are very pretty and the song has a very nice summery feeling! Can't wait to hear the B-sides, especially "Anti"

You mention Nacchan and Harugon, but oddly enough Kikuchi and Rabutan made it too this time..

I gotta admit, there's some unexpected members popping up in this time's senbatsu: Sumire, for one; Komori, another; plus the aforementioned few. I didn't think it were the case, but these few were overseas as well when the earthquake struck, so it was probably for this single.

Their timing is ok, the hip movements sorta match too, but those hand movements are ALL OVER THE PLACE. :lol:
It makes their dancing look really sloppy, even though it's just their hands/arms...

Takamina and Acchan follow the same pattern "up' --> 'up'
Mariko goes 'under' --> 'straight'

Sae X Rena have bonded during Majisuka, and Yui and Sayaka are pushed heavily so of course they need to be there too :lol:

...I may be missing one. It says "ときめきモール（サークルＫ・サンクスオリジナル特典がつきます）." Does that mean Tokimeki Mall has the same bonus as Cirkle K (Kashiwagi)? That would explain why I can't find a specific Tokimeki Mall one.

Fortunately, they also happen to be in the middle of a concert revival series and their 3rd Senbatsu election (for their 22nd single), which means that sales will likely continue to be strong.
