Fast-food chain Burger King is making a 180 degree shift in its marketing, with a decision to drop its "King" mascot and focus on — sit down before you read this! — product. (http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/113356/burger-king-drops-king-mascot-forbes)

That's interesting, I have never seen that King character before in my life. Maybe they ditched it already in their European branche.

^ It was probably just for the American market. He was featured in tons of BK commercials years ago (and even had his own Xbox games that you could buy at the restaurant for $4 each (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Games)), but I was under the impression that he had been phased out already by now since I don't remember any recent commercials with him.

I must say he was an awesome mascot, both despite AND because he was so damn creepy (http://whereisyourgod.ytmnd.com).
