With S/mileage, Tsunku seems to give them an ultimatum like "take 10,000 smile pictures or you might not debut".
That's just how the group has been since the beginning.

But really, once that challenge is given, there's no way they're not going to succeed.
I had the utmost faith in the girls and in Tsunku's trolling ability.
I've been telling people for a while now that everyone would get in.
