- I don't recognize some of these girls at all.. wtf.

- Glad to see Moko again too.

Pretty awesome show, especially for an introduction ep. Glad the full SKE army is finally ready for action.

SKE48 is so much fun to watch.  :thumbup

Even I have to admit that Yukko was great in this.
Kaotan is such a nutjob (in a good way), it's fun to watch her and the other girls in the background.

The guests and games were pretty funny too and I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

Episode 02 was pretty awesome. All the girls were lively, and the guests were great too. Yukko and J both were dominating, and Kanon was adorable :cathappy: Yukko dishing out that Hindi tongue twister :shocked:

Definitely looking foward to the next ep :thumbsup

Why isn't AKBingo this entertaining???

Average age of 22.8 years old in SKE's team  :thumbup One of the things that makes SKE48 more appealing imo.

lol @ the failed joke about Deguchi's name. She was too busy concentrating on the Russian names. Mieko was impressive  :thumbup


This show's becoming a bit of a mess though. All the in between dance skits etc and do-overs are fun, but they are taking so much time that each episode runs long. One country per ep should be doable imo.

Before last week I hadn't seen but one episode of this show. I'm now totally caught up. Overall, this show was so much fun. Marathoning it over a few days was super easy. The guests were cool, the games are cool, the twists have been cool. Lots of Shawako is also good. :lol: :thumbup It has rewatch value to the max, so hopefully I'll get around to rewatching it in a year or two. :lol:

Most recent episode was insane. I've gotta rewatch it. :lol: The Hummer limo, the helicopter following the Hummer limo, the red carpet, the showy intro... it was so hilarious and so not Rena. :lol: I'm curious to see what happens next week, but I do hope the show will retain some of that original format in the future, or at least become a full-fledged SKE edition of AKBINGO! :)

Seriously speaking though, Rena was super adorable in this episode. Despite playing up the royal treatment for SKE's current no. 1, it's obvious that they all have good relationships with each other. They all looked like they were having fun. Aki, Nishishi, Seira, Nee-san!!! The whole Rena vs. SKE was shorter than I imagined. I'm hoping it's only a sort-of special introduction for Rena who'll finally appear semi-regularly on the show.

Lololol, and I bet Rena was in heaven when she was wheeling in that full tray of melon pan.

More Rena next week! And even better, there's a Rena monomane~! Hahaha, it feels like Magical Radio all over again.  :twothumbs

- Akarin seems to be amongst the tallest girls in the group now... all that stretching made her taller. lol
- That first game was pretty lame. Rena was super cute when all the members came by to make their appeal though.
- The host did the ErikaSMASH haha.

- I died at the 0:39-0:40 mark in the 2/2 video linked above.
- Kumi sounded like an anime character when Rena said "probably." Man, Kumi has matured so much over the last couple of weeks. I like it.

So after that whole Rena vs. SKE we've had for the past two episodes, things has escalated into a Team S vs. Team KII battle. Whatever happened to world domination? The sheer epicness of the situation had the rest the world stopping and watching (and judging) as the two teams battle it out in a monomane competition.

To mention a few things: Kuumin is so cute; Neesan's voice is really amazing; the Shawako monomane was epic because of Shawako's reactions in the background. :lol: And Aki's monomane... I just watched the entire Request Hour last night and she was doing the same thing. A total  :? moment, lol! The 80's girls (plus Seira, lol) are all made of awesome sauce.  :twothumbs

Next week, we'll see just how much Magical Radio has honed Rena's skills when it comes to doing monologues.  :D

Yeah, luckily they realized the original concept didn't work all too well. It became too long-winded really quickly.

I dig the new games. Members doing each other catchphrases, random monomane and skits, etc  :thumbup It really gives the lesser known girls a chance to make an appeal for themselves.

I hope this show will continue in this direction and will become SKE48's AKBingo.

I'm behind on this show, but I just watched the Valentine's special tonight. Had nothing to do with Valentine's Day but was still a pretty fun watch, even if it felt very disorganized. I guess it gets some slack since it was live. It was cool to see the older member's showcased a little bit. My favorite part of the show was Churi. Watching her spaz out for the camera and even in the background when other stuff was going on was great fun. Then of course, her total freakout moment when those penguins came out. She was dying to get over there, I'm glad they let her or she might have cried. :lol: Good stuff.

But could they PLEASE do away with wasting five minutes of the show for that horrible anime short? :bleed eyes:

Also, the HKT girls were cute and the bits with Mizuki and Haachan ( :cry: ) were fun. I like that Matsuoka Natsumi girl. :thumbup

Just watched the last two episodes. It's chock-full of Haachan-Akisun yankee goodness and asdjkjl what is Akisun going to do once Haachan is gone?!? :cry: Haachan/Akisun combi is the most awesome combi ever. Who else is going to troll Nishishi the way they do?

On a serious note, it looks like they've really dropped the 'world domination' concept and have gone with SKE domination instead. The 2-on-2 battles are a hit-or-miss for me, but overall it was still enjoyable.

- baka Yuria-peace single-handedly cost their team the win. Poor Gomma.  :P Tomochan/Reichan literally didn't do anything and yet they won.
- WSato combi... brilliant as usual!
- Imade/Makiko had a funny, real-life KataFai moment, lol! The Whitney Houston soundtrack was XD
- Not to be outdone, Haachan/Akisun had an epic moment as well. :lol: The bewildered look on Akisun's face when they were making their guesses. Sometimes it's hard to know when she's trolling and when she's not.  XD

And yeah, they should just do away with the weird 5-minute animations. Better yet, why don't they just use SKE instead? They already have the animated Pareo scene as their basis. Just extend it with some random storyline.  :ph43r:

...but they replaced it one about that cat mascot.  :doh:

This show has had some serious ups and downs... Hopefully it can climb back up with the KII special next week.

The April 11th episode was pretty awesome. I love how Churi reacts when she gets mad. The way she can't really hide it no matter how hard she tries is SO CUTE. :lol: Also, Shawako had me on the floor. That chick is crazy in all the right ways. Good stuff.

I must say though, that new anime about the mascot is even worse than the previous anime. Animation quality is grotesquely bad and it's not even the least bit interesting. I really hope they'll do away with that short entirely sometime soon. :nervous

The Gaishi Hall SP episode was quite entertaining,
look at all the people lining up for some handshaking with Teppei  :lol:
and also, the tributes for the graduating members was nicely done...
(considering their broadcast length)

Still, I think it's time for the channel to cut those (horrible) animes...
Well, they do said that they care about ratings in KII special 2 episodes ago...
I don't know how these animes help the show's ratings....

Well, looking forward for next episode,
it looks like it will be the midnight snacks (foods) projects thought by mieko and riho  :drool:

Like Datalanche said in the chat, I wish they'd just turn this into SKE48's AKBingo. Just use the same games and everything will be fine. This show is getting so desperate in creating new segments and most of them aren't very interesting.

The Gaisha Hall episode was great. Can't wait to see the full concert!

2nd part of the KII vs. E rumble which was promised when KII won that quiz 3 months ago. Time sure flies fast.
- Mai and Mei (especially Mei) getting decent screen time. I approve!
- Mei storming KII's room and unleashing a hailstorm of bullets. Like a maniac boss.  8)
- Team E actually pulling ahead of Team KII!  :twothumbs
- It looks like a 3rd faction is about jump into the fray and muck things up some more. Bring it on, Team KKS!
- Shiori-mama (the 3rd one) appears once again!
- HKT showing up right at the very end.... could it be? Are they finally making good of their 'threat' to turn it into an HKT show? Aren't they already getting a new one?:P

Been putting of watching this show for awhile since I don't know much japanese. But today I finally started watching the two first episodes and it was great. I'm itching to see more of SKE48 and the various girls there, including the one and only Yuria.  :wub:

The concept looks fun so far, with them competing against people from other countries and not just rip the show straight from AKBingo. Although an AKBingo show with SKE wouldn't be all that bad either come to think of it. I like the hosts in this all right, but somehow everyone seems dull compared to The Bad Boys now that I've watched a bazillion episodes of Bingo.

Hopefully I'll pull myself together and work harder on my japanese so I'll be able to enjoy all these wonderful unsubbed shows even more.

The CM challenge episodes were pretty forgettable... Matsurina and Niidoi had some lulzy moments, but nothing too special.

I didn't watch the latest eps, but it seemed like they were trying to re-create that "Miichan's room" segment? Even the guest was the same (the GETS guy, can't recall his name atm... Dandy Sakano).

Can't blame the girls, they simply get nothing to work with. The budget for walking around is 2.000 yen whereas Odekake gets 15.000 yen!  :nervous

Still watching, but not really getting much out of it. :nervous

Everything's just so forgettable like 'Wild said. I was excited for this show's return but all the sitting and talking is just not up my alley. I will probably go through my backlog of shows as I'm cleaning or whatever and dump it. Even the episodes I heard were better are meh at best. I will get my SKE enjoyment out of Oyasumi Meigen Dojo. :lol:

Other than (bias time) seeing Nao shine a little, this is what I got from this season:
1. What do fans of girl-group idols like to watch most? And can help push our SKE48 members just before Sousenko? Have older men talking about their work for half an hour! For like 10 episodes YAY!
2. You got past that, I salute you. Now let's do a random quiz show with little preparation and 5 members, when we normally have 20. Let's give the show to the 2 kids with basically no MC experience while we're at it! (Maybe like SW, many ppl didn't like this corner either. But I still liked these 2 episodes, with its random chaos. compared to the repeated hell of the others)
3. OK. Maybe too random... Let's just throw the girls into the street! That's like the most traditional TV show corner ever! Now what are they doing in the streets... still can't get our popular members on... Have them milk cows! People demand girls to milk cows!
4. Tetsuko no Heya corner with 'Gets' guy. This corner for me has the same entertainment-level as looking at a wall, a boring wall. I guess Risako did an ok MC, but this corner strains my limits.

I hope they can fix this train-wreck like how Kousagi Dojo changed after a bad start. KD don't have many members show up each ep either, but do try to have some interesting themes. But S-jo is so many episodes in, this season probably might end before they can make it fun again.
