Cuteness Overload!!
by caghaunt

One day, in our dearest Yankee school Majisuka Gakuen, it’s a usual school day. You could saw Yankee students everywhere, ignoring their teacher.
It’s a very usual sight. Let’s go to the top floor of Maji Gakuen, where the famous Rappappa room placed.

From outside, you can hear two different voices arguing loudly. It looks like the owners of the voices are having an argument, very hot argument.
Threats can be detected from the word of the voices.

Now, let’s take a look inside the Rappappa room. You can see two girls shouted at each other while a girl watching them argues.

Gekikara, the name of the girl who watches the debate, look at the other two innocently. She watched her two fellows Rappappa members pointing
and grabbed each other collars.

Usually, she will watch them happily. But, today is an unusual day for our dearest Gekikara. Because soon, she
started to feel bored. She decided to stopped them argue.

“Nee,” she said out loud.

Black, the tall one, and Shibuya, the shorter one, froze in their position. Black pointing her index finger to Shibuya’s head. Shibuya grabbed Black’s collar with one hand while her other one formed a fist, ready to punch.

“Okotteru?” Gekikara continued saying.

Black and Shibuya could feel their blood drained from their heads, made them looks pale. They slowly turned their head to look to Gekikara, expecting she grinning like crazy at them. But no, she’s not.

Black and Shibuya stunned. They found Gekikara tilted her head to the right while pouting cutely instead of grinning like crazy. They stayed at their position for a while now.

Black’s and Shibuya’s cheeks are a bit pinkish by now. Gekikara still has her pout and her innocent stare at them. Indeed, she looks so cute by now.

Can’t stop themselves, Black and Shibuya stormed at Gekikara. Black hugged Gekikara by her neck and rubbed her cheek to Geki’s hair while smiling happily. Shibuya took one of Geki’s hands and began to polish Geki’s nails while whistling some unknown tune. Gekikara tried to break herself free but failed. So she gave up at them.

‘Cuteness overload!!’ Black and Shibuya thoughts at the same time.

.

Unknown to those three, three girls stood outside the room. The short one clinging to the one of the taller girls like a squirrel while roaming her hands around the chest of the girl she was clinging at who stared straight in front of them blankly. They saw the scene inside the room.

Sado, the tallest one, grinned mischievously at the scene. “So, what do you think, Yuko-san?” she asked the squirrel girl.

“This would be a good blackmail for them. Heheheh.” Yuko, the president of Rappappa replied her co-president. Then she continued to roams her
hands. “Right, Nyan Nyan?” Yuko asked Torigoya, who called Nyan Nyan by Yuko who is always clinging at her.

“…Yeah.” Torigoya said. Then she snapped out of her gaze. “Gekikara is really cute, isn’t it?” She blurted out.

“Whaat? So I’m not really cute for you, Nyan Nyan?” Yuko whined.

“No.” Torigoya lied. Sado, who just watch them bickering chuckled to no one in particular.

“Kids these days.” She said to herself as she follows Yuko and Torigoya who were already away from the Rappappa room.

So, what do you think? Is it good enough? Please forgive me if there's a mistake.

LOL at this. Especially to Shibuya's.

'Black hugged Gekikara by her neck and rubbed her cheek to Geki’s hair while smiling happily. Shibuya took one of Geki’s hands and began to polish Geki’s nails while whistling some unknown tune.'

And just when I was expecting more on Torigoya and Yuko's scene. xD Anyway, that was fun and of course, cute to read.

I Don’t Care

by caghaunt

A several sounds of a pair of shoes hit the floor on some pattern echoed through the corridors from a room. Followed by a sound of chewing. Then a heavy, slightly bass voice can be heard asking such a question like, “So, what do we do next? With Maeda get arrested by police we can’t take Majijo’s top fully. Although it was good that Yabakunes won’t be bother us anymore.”

The chewing stopped. But not the shoes. A slightly high-pitched, much more feminine voice answered, “Hmm, I think it would be better if we watch the top of Majijo behind the curtain first. If a team like Team Fondue is the next members of Rappappa, maybe Rappappa would be dead. Really dead.” Then, the silence engulfed the whole building.

.

It was late at night. All the students and teachers of Majisuka Gakuen has went to their respective home by now. Except for these two. Two girls were left in an empty classroom. A girl who wore a cream-colored sweater sat atop of a chair watching the other girl who leaning against a desk with a confused expression. Wanting the girl to explain further.

.

“But, Nezumi,  why we have to watch it from behind the curtain? Isn’t it better if we take the top now?” she asked. The other girl, Nezumi, who wore a grey hoodied-jacket frowned, then leaning away from the desk and move towards one of the windows.

“Maybe it’s better. But I don’t want to see you get hurt again, Center. Not after I saw you get punched by Yabakunes a few days ago,” she said quietly, but loud enough for Center to hear it. A smile found it’s way to Center’s face. Her eyes stared to Nezumi softly. Slowly, she rose up from her seat and hugs Nezumi from behind, who just stood stiff and let Center hug her.

“Thank you, Nezumi. But I don’t care I’ll get hurt if it means we can reach our destination.” Center said in next of Nezumi’s right ear.

“I care! I do really care. I don’t know since when.” Nezumi hands formed a fist inside her jacket’s pockets.

“…Why did you care, Nezumi? You never care about it before. What’s happened, Nezumi?” Center asked curiously. A smile on her face replaced with a straight line. If it was her who care about Nezumi, it’s normal. Because she knows that she loves Nezumi so much. But Nezumi? She didn’t like her that way, isn’t she?

“….” No answer.

“Come on. Tell me, Nezumi.”

“…It’s because I love you.” Nezumi whispered softly. Very soft until Center can barely hear it.

“What? Would you repeat it, please?” Center asked. Suddenly, Nezumi turned around to face Center. This made Center stepped back a little.

“I said, it’s because I love you, you know?! I really don’t know since when! Got it?!” Nezumi shouted. Her head hung down and she bit her lower lip.

Center, a little taken aback by the shout, staring at Nezumi in disbelief. Stepped closer to Nezumi, she asked, “Really? Did you mean it?”

Nezumi didn’t say anything. Instead, she pulled Center’s face and crushed her lips to Center’s one. Surprised, Center slowly closed her eyes and slowly responding to the kiss until they were out of breaths.

They ended their kiss and leaned their foreheads to each other.

“Is it… clear enough… for you?” Nezumi said between the panting.

Center smiled and pulled Nezumi into a tight hug, Nezumi hugged her back. “Yes. It’s really clear for me.” They broke their hug and smiled to each other.

“Now, let’s go home. It’s already late for us to be here.” Center  smiled widely.

“Yeah, let’s go home.” Nezumi replied happily. Together, they made their way outside.

A mouse squeaked on the classroom floor. Then a small faint light can be seen there. A small handycam become life. STOP sign showed on it’s small monitor.

In a house not so far from Majisuka Gakuen, a girl wearing a red coat looking frantically on her room.

“Where is my precious handycam?!!” she yelled with her high-pitched voice in panic, earning some cursing from her neighbors.

Is it a failure?  Tell me, please...

Oh, can anyone guess who is it in the last scene? :3

Letting Her Go
by caghaunt

I saw her figures sat straight on a bench. Her eyes stared blankly at a wall for a fair long time. Her hands placed on her thighs. A red-white jacket hung loosely on her shoulders. She let her long, highlighted hair set loose, framed her beautiful face. Her cat-like ears hidden behind her thick layers of hair. Oh, her figure is like a goddess to me.

Then I remembered someone in particular. A familiar dimpled smile. That cheerful, energetic voice. The one who offer a friendship to me. The one who doesn’t care about win or lose in a fight. The one who feels fun like me in a fight. My partner in crime, in fight, who is being hospitalized right now.

My heart ached. She always tried to grope a beauty my eyes are staring at. She always getting punch in her head by doing that, but her dimpled smile is always there. I bit my inner cheeks to hold myself from smiled bitterly. I played my kendama on my hand to keep myself distracted.

I sighed softly. I got up from my seat and walked out from this special room. Rappappa’s room. I put both my hands along with the kendama on my synthetic fur jacket’s pockets. I walked down from the stairs to the corridor. It was always almost empty here. Most of the students avoid the third floor, trying to not to get close to the Rappappa’s stair or the members itself.

Tap.

I glanced at my back and found her stood behind me. “Where’ll you go, Sado?” She asked me.

“I wanna pay a visit to Yuko-san. Besides, I get bored. You coming, Torigoya?”

“Yeah. There’s really nothing to do here. It would be nice to go outta here.”

“Where’s Black, Shibuya, and Gekikara? I didn’t see them all this day.”

“Dunno. I didn’t see them either.”

After that, both of us walked silently. We put our arrogant face and killer stare as we passed down all of the students in our way. Like usual, they stopped walking and pressed themselves against the walls. I laughed at them in my head.

We made our way to the hospital where Yuko is right now quickly. I stare at Torigoya face silently. She looks happier as we get nearer to the hospital. I kept my face neutral and my hands still in my pockets, not showing any emotion even though I really want to clutch my chest and smiled bitterly.

.

“Yuko-san.” I called Yuko who was playing cards with some of the patients. She looked up from her cards and running towards me like a kid, her hands still holding her cards.

“Sado~!” She smiled cheerfully at me. Again, my heart ached. She has a Leukemia yet she’s still cheerful as she now.

“And it’s not just me.” I smirked as she tilted her head at one side, looking at me curiously.

“Hi, Yuuchan.” Torigoya called out from behind me, smiling. Yuko’s face brightened up upon hearing Torigoya’s voice. Only Torigoya—only Haruna can
called Yuko freely like that.

“Nyan Nyan!!” Yuko ran to Torigoya while smiled widely, her dimples appeared in both of her cheeks. They engulfed each other in a hug, letting out their feelings to each other.

I, on the other hand, walked silently to the nearby hospital’s restroom. I let out my bitter smiles once I’m in. Placing both of my hands on the edge of the sink, I looking up to the mirror in front of me, allowing me to see my own expression.

My heart aches. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes. But I knew better. They won’t. Chuckling to myself, I palmed my face with one hand and said to myself.

“Shinoda Mariko, you look so pathetic. She doesn’t feel the same way towards you. She just saw you as her older sister. You’re just an older sister to her, Mariko. Let her go. She loves Oshima Yuko. Not you. Just let her go…”

I felt myself calmed down. I opened the tap of the water and splashed some waters to my face. Closing the tap, I sighed and looked up to the ceiling.

“I’ll try to let you go, Kojima Haruna. I’ll try my best.”

With that, I went out from the restroom and walked back to where Yuko and Torigoya are.

If only I met you first…

If only Yuko didn’t found you at the first place…

Maybe… Just maybe…

We can be together…

Sorry if it feels so angst-y. My mind has been like that recently.

I receive all forms of review :kneelbow:

Sorry for Sado. But Mariko is an M, afterall.

^ Yes yes yes, I am a MariHaru fan and because there is not much fic about them, when I saw your fic, I was very happy, like on heaven xD If you could, please write more about this pair xD Arigatou~

Although it's sad, I love it xD Sado loves Torigoya but she can't betray Yuko, even if Torigoya loves her back. She will only do it when it is Yuko's order. With Sado, Torigoya is the girl she loves, but Yuko is the one she devotes her life to. It is really difficult to choose between Torigoya and Yuko. That is what I thought about this triangle xD

Btw, I don't think Mariko is an M. She actually is a S, a Super S xD

Sorry if I talked too much xD And my English is not so good, hope you can understand xD

Hahaha. I'll write more about them if I get an inspiration. Thanks for reading.
And I'm fully understand what you were saying.
About your thoughts for the triangle, that's what I think when I wrote this.
No, no. Mariko-sama said it herself that she is often sees as an S. But she herself feels like an Extreme M.

It's been a month since I updated this. Blame my laziness. This oneshot is about how is the relationship between the two trolls from AKB and SKE (Mariko and Jurina) begin. Enjoy!

I’m Okay
by caghaunt

I sat alone in and empty dressing room, holding a bottle of cold water in my lap. The recording for AKB new single has done for today. Most of the AKB members had gone out, either went home or looking for some food outside the theatre. There are just some members who haven’t gone, yet, including me.

It has been two or three days since I have to move from Nagoya to Tokyo. A few weeks ago, I passed the SKE48.audition. I began training with the other SKE members to our debut. But then, Aki-P suddenly came to Sakae to announce I have chosen as a center for AKB next single, Oogoe Diamond. Shocked? Of course! Who will not get shocked when you are just a newly passed audition member, still training, and most of all, an 11-year-old elementary school student!?

I sighed out loud and take some gulps of the cold water. It was so refreshing. I didn’t notice the door opened and someone is walked in to the room.

"I’m glad that you came here, Jurina.” A voice came from beside me so sudden. I startled and almost choked on the water. I coughed a few times as a hand patted my back before turning my head to one side.

I found an AKB member, Shinoda Mariko, reaching her hand to pat my back.

“Shi-Shinoda-san? What are you doing here? The recording has over an hour ago!”

“You know, I also could ask you the same question. What are you doing here? It’s getting dark outside. And it’s Mariko-sama for you.”

I stayed silent and didn’t do any movement. Mariko retreated her hand from my back and also stays silent. But not for long time as she spoke after taking a deep breath.

“Know what, Jurina, right now; you are really like me when I first joined AKB. Feel isolated by everyone despite the crowded surroundings and wasn’t treated badly.” She paused. I turned my head to her as I listening.

“That’s what I felt back when I joining AKB. It was already half and a month since the 1st Generation stage debut. Very late to join AKB, right?” I nodded, “And there’s no audition being held that time. Even though I’m considered as a 1st Generation, actually I’m a 1,5th Generation. Which is only me.”

I suppressed my giggles. She glanced at me before continue.

“When I first entered AKB, I felt like there’s a wall between me and the other 1st Gen members. I felt like there wasn’t any place I belong in the dressing room. I understand why. They passed the auditions together, create a team together, and debuting together. And all of the sudden, I appeared out of nowhere. That was an awkward moments. I was felt very lonely that time.”

She stopped, hesitating a little, and turned to facing me. I backed away slightly.

“Say, Jurina, did you feel lonely right now? If you don’t want to answer, it’s okay. I won’t force you to do.”

I opened my mouth to answer it, but no voice came out from my throat. I closed my mouth and nodded my head slightly. I heard Mariko-sama sighed and the next thing I know, I’m being pulled into a calming embrace by her.

She smiled and patted my head as she said, “It’s okay, Jurina. Besides, I know you are not me. Eventually, that feeling will fade away. I assure you.”

She released me from her embrace and walked out from the room. She waved her hands without looking back at me. I waved back even though I know she wouldn’t saw it. I smiled as her back disappearing from my sights as she shouted, "Nyaro!".

I get up and took my bag readying myself to go back to the hotel I’m staying at when I’m in Tokyo. With a smile in my face, I’m walked out from the dressing room.

Telling to myself that I will be okay, I quickened my pace. Didn’t even aware of two person smiled at my back as I walks by.

Hope I didn't failed. *crossing fingers*

After a while, I came back here and saw this fic of yours xDDDDD
Although I have a lot of fics which I haven't read yet, I choose your fic. You know, you are the first one who write about Mariko-sama and Jurina.
Back to when I read the article where Mariko-sama mentioned Jurina, I was deeply moved.
And I started to like their relationship xD I think they're very cute together, Mariko-sama is like a big sister who always coddles her little sister and Jurina is such a kid who likes playing around xD
I love the way you write about "two person smiled at Jurina's back as she walks by" xD I know exactly who they are when I read it xD Just for you know, I and my friends usually tell joke about a "happy family" in which Mariko-sama is father, Haruna is mother and Jurina is their son (son, not daughter xD because the daughter is a different member xD) That's the reason why when I read this scene in your fic, I feel like Mariko-sama and Haruna are parents who are watching their son xD
Another lame comment from me *facepalm* Hope you can understand what I wrote because even I can't understand it clearly *facepalm* I'm not really good at English, you know...
Have a nice day and I wish to read more update from you ^____^

AH! Welcome back~ ^^
Really? I'm the first one? Well, I feel surprised and honored. Mariko-sama is really like a big sis to Jurina.
Oh, that! I even had a some kind of theory "Mariko + Haruna = Jurina".
The daughter? Miichan, I guess? Or who? :D
Aah~ You nailed it!! You also feel that "family" vibe on that scene! It's good to know that's not only me who got that vibe...
No no no. Actually, your English is fine. I'm not really good in English as well, you know..
Have a nice day! And about the update I'll do it if I get a good time to writing ^^

I got stuck on Computer Angel. Don't know if I will continue it or not.

So, this is my very first KumiNon fic. I don't really have a confident on this fic.

Meet My Death
by caghaunt

A 5 years old girl slipped out from a room. Peoples inside the room she was in a second ago confusing her. They murmured altogether, following what the bald man in front of them said. She didn’t understand. She saw them crying over her grandma’s body that is lay on a futon in the middle of the room.

‘Why are they crying over her grandma? She’s just sleeping. Yeah, she’s just sleeping.’ She sat on the edge of the terrace outside the room and looking around at the garden in front of her. In the distance, she saw a girl wearing a black hakama and carrying an unsheathed katana.

The door behind her opened and revealed a woman about 20 years old.

“Kumi, what are you doing here alone? Are you bored?” The woman called out.

“Nothing. I’m just confused. Mom, why are those peoples crying over grandma? She was just sleeping, right?” Kumi answered and asked her mom. She turned her head to looking at her mom.

‘As expected from a 5 years old girl,’ her mom thought and sighed. “Yes, she was sleeping. For a very long time… Come on, let’s find some food for you.”

Kumi stood up and following her mom. She paused for a moment and looking back to the garden, looking for a girl she saw earlier. ‘That girl was gone. Where did she go…?’

“Kumi, come here!” Her mom called her, not too loud because of the funeral.

Kumi looked at her mom and walked slowly.

.

3 years later.

The once a little girl is an 8 years old elementary school student by now. At this age, she knew why those peoples at her 3 years old childhood were
crying over her gandma’s body. Her grandma was dead. And at this age, she was able to questioning something she hasn’t known. She was once asked her teacher, “What is death? What is death looks like?” Her teacher couldn’t answer it. So she decided to finds out herself. At that time, she hasn’t met that mysterious girl from her grandma’s funeral again.

.

She was 11 years old now. She just came back from school. She was in her way to went home. She passed an interjection and witnessed an accident.
2 cars collided with each other. All the drivers were dead due to the high speed. The accident happened in a street near her home. There, she saw that girl. The same girl at her grandma’s funeral. She also wears the same black hakama and carrying a katana. Shocked because of the accident, Kumi just stood there, stiff and still. She saw the girl before her unsheathed the katana and swung it over the cars’ drivers’ body just an inch above them.

After the girl sheathed back her katana, Kumi spoke, “Who are you, miss? I saw you at my grandma’s funeral. What are you doing here?”

Startled, the girl turned to Kumi. “You… you could see me?”

“Why not? You are a human, right?”

“No. I’m not a human. I’m Death. I’m here to cut their existence in this world because their time to dead has come.” And with that, Death started
walked to the darkness around them.

“Wait.” Kumi called out, “Will we meet again?”

Death paused, and then continues to walk. “Maybe. If you were dead or near to any dead people.”

Kumi watched Death blended in the darkness and smiled goofily.

“So she is Death. I thought Death was supposed to be all skeleton, wore a black clothes, and carrying a rusted sickle instead of a VERY cute girl with a loose twin tailed-hair, who wore a black hakama like a samurai, and carrying a katana like a samurai. She also has a beautiful voice. But I think its better that way.”

‘That and the possibilities that I could see her when I’m near dead peoples,’ she thought and continues to walked home.

.

Kumi is 14 years old. As three years passed, she often came to the hospital. She scratched her skin until its bleeding, or accidentally slit her wrist with a knife. All she did with one purpose, have a reason to be near hospital’s morgue, Emergency Room or to commit suicide. And then, she could meet Death again.

Know what? She met Death.

Once, when she accidentally slit her wrist, her condition was critical and she fainted. When her soul woke up, she blinded by the sudden light. After she blinked for a few times, she saw Death sat in front of her.

“Am I dead?” She asked Death.

“Almost. You’re in a critical state. Those doctors – mortals – are trying to save you.” Death answered her with an emotionless face.

“Are you… going to cut my existence?”

“No. Not yet. It isn’t your time. I guess it will take time for those doctors to make you come back among humans. Why don’t you sit here and wait for
a while?” Death turned around.

Kumi took this opportunity to really saw where she was. She was in a white and bright room with a table and some chairs in the middle of the room. Death’s katana was on the table. She saw Death sat on a chair, she followed her moves.

They sat in a comfortable silence. Death staring to the empty space in front of her while Kumi observing her.

“Your face… is beautiful. Why did you want to be Death? You are lonely, aren’t you?” Kumi said out-of-the-blue.

Death’s big black eyes widened. She was slightly taken aback because of Kumi’s statement and question. She lets out a sigh.

“Want to be Death? No, I never want it. It just happened. I don’t remember what’s happened. Lonely… you could say I am.”

“But when you realize, you’re not protesting at all?”

“Could I? For me, become Death is a kind of job for me. I can do nothing against it.” Death smiled sadly.

“But—“

“Oh, look. Your body has saved. You have to go back to your body.” Death cutting off whatever Kumi is going to says.

“…I guess so...” Kumi looked at herself. She looks transparent. “Could I meet you in the future again?”

“Maybe…? Just wait for your time to dead, Kumi.”

With Death’s last sentences, Kumi was engulfed in the darkness. And then, she knew that she was back to her body. She opened her eyes and found her parents towering over her.

“Kumi, are you okay!?” Her dad asked.

“Don’t you dare scaring us like that!” Her mom yelled at her.

Forcing a smile, Kumi replied, “I’m okay, mom, dad. I’ll be fine.”

‘Death, I hope we’ll meet again, soon,’ Kumi wished silently.

.

Month by month has passed since her last meeting with Death. Kumi always thinking about her. Death’s loneliness that couldn’t be avoided. ‘She said Death is a kind of job for her. Could it be ... She actually has a real name, other than Death?’

Since her last meeting with Death, she slowly pulled herself from the society. She closed herself from all the noises around her. Her mom and dad worried about her. But she just told them that she was fine and nothing to worry about her.

Indeed, she’s right. Her grade in school isn’t bad. In fact, she always managed to get the top 10 in her classes. She kept her health well. The only thing that made her closed from society is just her thought that always seems to just about Death.

What she didn’t know is Death also kept thinking about her. Because it was the first time she had a conversation with a human who isn’t dead, yet. And that conversation is the longest ever since she became Death.

She also thought about her loneliness. After all this time, she used to ignoring it. Death was supposed to emotionless and cold. She didn’t think about her own need of companion or anything. But now that someone had brought up the topic…

She made a decision.

.

Summer, Yagami Kumi, 17 years old, declared dead because of a hit and run by a drunken car driver. Once again, her soul woke up in a bright white room. She looked around to looking for her Death, a very cute girl with a loose twin tails.

She found Death, sat elegantly on a chair in the middle of the room. But this Death is different. Yes, she has a pair of big black eyes. But instead of a loose twin tails, her hair was straight without any ponytail or twin tails. She also has a face of a Japanese ojou-sama.

“Who… are you?” Kumi asked.

“I’m Death. Yagami Kumi, your existence in the earth had been cut off. You do no longer exist in there.” Death answered firmly.

“I know… I’m already meet Death before this. Are you new to be Death?”

“… Yes.”

“I see. I’m used to see Death as a very cute girl with a loose twin tails instead of you.”

“Oh, the Death before me. She gave her job to me half and a year ago. Why? Are you looking for her?”

“Yes. Could you tell me where she is?”

“Just go passed this room. If you really are looking for her, you’ll find her.”

“Thanks.”

Death didn’t answer. Kumi walked passed the bright white room immediately. At first, she didn’t know that there’s a door since the color is the same as the wall. She opened the door, revealing the former Death, standing behind the door.

“We meet again, Yagami Kumi. Are you really dead this time?” The former Death smiled sweetly at her.

“Yes. I’m really dead right now. Why are you no longer Death?” Kumi blushed a little.

“I’m thinking about your sayings at the last time we meet. I decided to give my job as Death to Matsui Rena. You’d met her, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Well then, come in. We are not going to aged or sick or whatnots in this place.”

“Wait. Before I stepped in, I want to ask you some question.”

“Go ahead.”

“You said we’re not going to aged. What is Death’s age?”

“Matsui Rena… she’s 19.”

“How about you? You are definitely not looked like 19 or near that age. And now I knew that Death has a real name, you never tell me about your
real name. What is your real name? Do you want to be my companion in here?” Kumi demanded.

“Well, you never asked me about it. Let me introduce myself, then.” Kumi waited patiently.

“My name is Kimoto Kanon, 14 years old since a long time ago. And yes, I want to be your companion.”

So... How is it? Is it good? Or bad? Please give me your honest answer.

Title: Re: Ca-ghaunt! Oneshots: What the--? (Jurina b-day) [09/03]
Post by: caghaunt on March 09, 2012, 04:57:14 PM
Happy belated birthday, Matsui Jurina!! Happy birthday, Kato Rumi!! May "The Force" be with you two!!

This is my birthday fic for Jurina. I'm a bit disappointed that no one wrote about Jurina's birthday, you know...

What the--?
by caghaunt

I’m Mat – Err, Shinoda Jurina. I’m adopted by Shinoda Mariko and Kojima – Shinoda Haruna as their daughter. They both are female, so I got two moms. I repeat it once again, MOMS. They are an “L” married couple. And I’m okay with that. I adopted by them when I was 7. Quite old to get adopted, I know. But it’s better than living at an orphanage.

Today is Thursday, March 8th. It means today is my 15th birthday. When I woke up this morning, I expecting there will be some “Happy Birthday” lines, gift, or anything special from Mariko-papa and Haruna-mama – as I called them – like the last birthday. But no.

There are no “Happy Birthday” lines, gift, or anything related to birthday. Nothing at all.

I don’t even see any single trace of gift wrapper on our living and dining room. When I went downstairs to get my breakfast this morning I just got the usual “Good morning” lines, hugs, and kisses.

Before you could ask things such like “Could you possibly forgot to remind them about your birthday?” to me, I will answer it first. I did NOT forget about it. Every two-three days near my birthday, I always remind them. How could they forget it…?

Then, this morning, Mariko-papa said to me, “Jurina, me and Haruna will come home very late tonight. There’s a birthday party for one of our staff. Haruna will leave some foods for your dinner.”

Screw this day! No time for me, huh? Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you. My moms work as a model and designer on a company Mariko-papa owned. I could understand their busy schedule. But seriously! They remember their staffs’ birthday but not their coughadoptivecough daughter? Wha…

With that thought in mind, I answered it with a quick “Okay”, finished my breakfast, grabbed my bag and lunch then went to school.

.

Now, I’m at school, lurking on my seat. I scanned my classroom lazily. All usual like my daily days. Nobody said “Happy birthday” to me. Not even my bestfriends, Nishishi and Mizuki.

Then I spotted her, Matsui Rena, my girlfriend. Yes, my GIRLFRIEND. This is an all-girl school and there’s just so many “L” in this school. But not all of them could be spotted, remembering all the hidden places in this school.

Rena approached me with her usual sweet smile. I really want to jump and attacks her with my hugs and kisses, you know, everytime she had that smile on her face.

“Hey, Jurina. Wassup?” she asked me after seeing my gloomy expression.

“…nothing. Just a little bit disappointed.” I sighed and bowed my head, sinking myself more on my seat and my bag. I heard her dragging a chair and
felt her hands caressing my hair.

“Do you want to tell me?” She asked softly. I lifted up my head and placed it on her lap. Then sighing.

“…no.”

“It’s alright. You could tell me whenever you want/”

“…” I sighed again.

It’s a comfortable silence. She still caresses my hair. I inhaled her scent and sighed.

“Rena, do you know what date is it?”

“Wednesday. March 8th. Why?”

“…Nothing in particular. Just asking.”

Disappoint swells inside me. Even my girlfriend forgot what day is it. I sighed again.

“Five.”

“Huh?”

“You’ve been sighing for five times.”

“Oh…” Another sigh.

Great. Very great. Everyone forgotten about my birthday.

…Wait. Did I sound so desperate about that?

.

“’Jurina, I’m sorry I couldn’t walk with you. I have to go home early. There’s something important I have to do.’” Rena texted me.

"'It's alright. I'll be okay.'" I texted back.

I walked home alone. A little bit sulking because I knew there will be no one at home. I stopped in front of a minimarket near my home.

I went in and bought some snacks to spend my night. Alone. In my home.

I sounded so pathetic, don’t I?

.

When I got home, I pulled out my keys and opened the door. I switched on the living room’s lamps. I noticed there’re gifts and a note on the coffee
table. The note said:

“To Jurina.

We are going to the one of our staff birthday party.

Those gifts on the table are for you. We didn’t forget your birthday.

We’re just pretending that today is not your special day.

Sorry.

P.S: Go to the dining room.

Love,

Mariko-papa x Haruna-mama”

What the hell…?

Curiosity killed the cat. I put my bag and my snacks on the couch and go straight to the dining room.

To go to the dining room, I have to pass a medium length corridor. Strangely, I found candles on the floor. And as it’s not strange enough for me, the
dining room’s door is opened. Creepy, I thought. And then, dim light appeared behind the dining room’s door curtain. A silhouette can be seen
through the curtain.

“…Okay. This is seriously creepy. I thought I was alone in this house..” I whispered to myself.

Tap.

The silhouette went closer to me. I flattened myself against the wall and close my eyes as she or he – I think it’s a she – got closer, even though I
know it’s no use because I’m still could be seen.

Srak.

I peeked and saw her – I was right, it’s a she – stopped a meter from me and bowed her body. I couldn’t saw her face because of the dim lights. But
I could saw what she was wearing. She wore a… suit? With a twin-tailed coat. Wha—?

“Matsui Jurina, welcome home. Please go to the dining room as your moms said in the note. I will lead you.” She spoke without looking at me. Then she turned around, leaving me leaning on the wall.

I followed her to the dining room. It’s creepy, yes. But I’m curious.

I noticed there are foods and some, uh, bottles of juices on the table. Some candles were lit.

“Please have a sit.” She said while pulling out a chair. Now, I could saw her face clearly.

“Re—na!!?” I was so surprised. Believe me, she looks so handsome and hot at the same time in the suit she wore.

Rena smiled. She placed her hands on my shoulders and hugged me.

“Happy 15th Birthday, Jurina. This is my gift for you. Now, sit.” She spoke the last word with a command tone.

She poured some juices to our glass as I sat. Then, she pulled out a chair for herself. Before she sat, she walked to her laptop – I just noticed it – and played a classic song.

We had dinner together in a comfortable silence. Well, not exactly, since the song is playing.

After that, she helped me brought my moms gifts, snacks and my bag to my room upstairs. We changes our clothes to a t-shirt and shorts and we cuddling on my bed.

“Rena… why did you pretend that you forgotten about my birthday in school?”

“Sorry. I just want to surprise you.”

“And my classmates? How about them?”

“I asked them to not saying anything about your birthday until tomorrow. They also already planned that your birthday party will be held tomorrow along with Rumi’s birthday.”

“…Meanie.”

“What? No, I’m not! Well, maybe just a little…”

“…”

“…”

“Why a candlelight dinner?”

“You don’t like it?”

“I like it. Just… curious.”

“…I don’t know either. I just want to do it.”

“…hopeless. And why were you wearing a suit earlier? It’s not like the dinner is formal one.”

“Trying to be a gentleman?”

“…You really are hopeless.”

“Not as hopeless as you.” Shot. Right on my heart.

“That’s hurts, Renaaa~” She just laughed it out. Soon, I found myself laughing with her.

I think, a birthday like this also fine with me. Damn my hopeless self.

.

“Marichan, is it really okay to leave Jurina alone?” Haruna asked Mariko when they were sat on a corner of their staff’s birthday party.

“It’s alright, Nyaro. Besides, she’s not alone.” Mariko answered casually.

“Eeh? How come? I didn’t remember we asked someone to watch her.”

“No, we’re not. But Rena asked me to give her our spare key yesterday. I bet they’re having fun right now.” Mariko wore her trademark face that
people called it “trollface” and laughed with Haruna followed laughing soon.

And night goes on with all the noise.

Hope you guys like it.

And don't forget that this Sunday, 120311 is Mariko-sama birthday!!

Title: Ca-ghaunt! Oneshots: Lost Field of Innocence (Shawako/Akarin(?)) [2012.5.8]
Post by: caghaunt on May 08, 2012, 09:28:09 AM
I'm ba~ck! ..Well, not really. Just got some inspiration to wrote this one-shot. Not sure about it actually. Hope it is good.

Because I want more SKE fic...

Lost Field of Innocence

World, is such a huge, noisy, cruel place. Filled with impurity and sins of the people. I realized it when my age just at my early teen.

There are people who always came to clubs, partying, drowning themselves on booze and drugs. There are people who have a good look on the outside, but they always spying for another to get to their pants. There are people who look so religious, but didn’t understand what they having faith on. There are people who shouting, saying, and calling for freedom, but they don’t even know what is freedom.

There are people who just care about their education, but didn’t have any skill to survive in this heartless world. There are people who forced to do crimes, stealing, killing, corrupting, but ended up liking it and doing it all the time. And there are people, who just want to be alone, away from all that kind of things, yet still aware of it, observing the world as the time goes by, and blended with the nature, hidden from those people.

I am one of the last categories. I always tried to make myself away from all the noises in this world. But I’m always managed to get some new information of those noisy people.

I called it a filthy business. Wanted to be away from the busy world yet had information of that world. Sounds like I’m cheating to the world, right? But that’s what I did all of the time. A filthy business.

I’m a dancer. A ballerina, more exactly. Not a very good one, I admitted it. But I’m improving from times to times. Spins, jumps, splits. From a ballet studio to some performance.

I’m enjoying it. Along with some fellow ballerinas from the same studio with me. I really enjoying it. Dancing with another ballerina is enjoyable. But, I always wanted to dance and performing alone. To be left alone on the stage just with my moving body, my soul, and my own thoughts in the silence is my dream.

“Shawako, let’s go home. We need to buy our dinner.” One of my friends, named Suda Akari, called me.

“Ah. Sorry Akarin. I don’t think I can buy it with you tonight. Could you buy it yourself? I will make it up to you after we get home.” I replied her.

“Okay~ Don’t forget your promise~”

She walked out from the studio, leaving me alone to pack my things. Sorry, Akarin. I just want some pieces of the silence. To thinking some stuffs.

After I was done packing, I went out from the studio. My bag is on my hand. My eyes searching for Akarin, in case she’s still around. We always go home together, as we share a same apartment room to save our money.

But it seems that she had gone. I didn’t see her anywhere. She really left me alone. Good. I really have to thank her. I enjoyed the loneliness more than normal people. I enjoyed it, treasured it, and grateful of it. Akarin knew it.

My home isn't really far from the studio. But I had to passed an area where is full of clubs, bars, motels, and people hooking up there and there. I knew what they did on the motels or dark alley. I knew every single thing that happening in here, without I asked for it.

I passed that area with bored eyes and straight face. I don’t give any single care to people who tried to get my attention. I always ignored them. Whether it just me alone or with Akarin. We always ignored them. We always did.

For me, those people are just another unimportant thing I have to face. Those people always demanded another to notice them. They thought just about their fames. Always seeks for people attention. With one or another way.

There is just one way to dealt with them. Ignore.

I kept walking as my mind continues its thought. My eyes staring to the front, head held up high, completed by my slightly hunchbacked posture, I think I really looks like I challenging people, even without any intention of me challenge them.

Some are really brave to walk in front of me and tried to talk to me. Some are just whistling to get my attention. Akarin and I already used to this. Usually, when we went home together, we just simply walk side by side, sometimes we holding hands, then we will just walked off, pretending we were busy to notice them.

But now I'm alone. And this is what I did. I kept my mouth shut, I kept my gaze to the front, I avoid whoever gets in my way automatically. I even smirked to myself when I did that, along with a sadistic feeling that make me bent my head but still kept my gaze to the front. One of my hidden personality, as people always saw me as a kind person.

Now that I thinking about those things, I started to missed my childhood days. When all the matters for me is just what I want to see, hear or thinks. When my mind is just so innocence, without any worry to the real world. Childhood days now felt like an illusion, a dream land. Where you only saw the good things and thinking that every single bad, sad, sorrow, sinful things is just a dream.

Once I passed that area, I started laughing to myself, mocking those people in that area silently and laughing to myself, for missed my innocent childhood. I stopped laughing as soon as I started it. Part of me is really proud of that ability. Because I knew, not everyone can do that so quickly.

I reached my apartment building without me realizing it. That was what always happen when you walking to your destination with yourself thinking another stuffs or talking to yourself. It happens to all the human being. Maybe even animal. I don’t know. I have neither an animal brain nor knowing nor understand it. Just from the books I’d read.

I went to my apartment room immediately once I stepped in the building. It still locked. I guess Akarin haven’t back home. I unlocked it and went inside.

I relaxed for a moment on the couch. All our stuffs were placed neatly. There’s nothing I could do. And sleeping at this hour – it still 7 pm – wouldn’t do any good. So I think something to do while waiting for Akarin and the food.

“I wanna dance on the roof,” I said out loud to no one. To myself, maybe?

I wrote a note to Akarin on the coffee table so she’ll know where I am. I brought my phone with me, slipped on my sandals and went to the roof, the only place where I could enjoy the night breeze, felt its calming air, smelled the night’s scent and enjoying it’s scenery. Good thing that tonight is a full moon. And it would be perfect if there was rain earlier. Unfortunately, it didn’t.

I took of my sandals and put my phone on top of it. I walked to the empty space barefooted. It’s always much more relaxing to know the texture of the ground underneath your feet.

I closed my eyes and started humming some random tunes. My body swayed and the next thing I knew I was dancing to the random tunes. Each movement synchronized. I didn't think anything as I dance. I just simply enjoying the sounds of my humming, the night breeze, the feeling of the cement floor underneath me, and the movements of my body.

Night air always has a great scent. Not as fresh as morning's scent but also not as dirty as afternoon's scent. It has a scent that calming and reflecting humans personality. Good, yet still a sinner deep down inside. Everyone is a sinner, I think. The calming coldness is something I would call a bonus. The darkness is something I could blend in without so much effort.

Then you could feel freedom inside the night scent. It crept up from the silent night and taking form as a sudden burst of energy that makes you much more energetic at night. So many people didn't know that.

Then, I heard some knocking sounds from the roof's door. I knew it was Akarin. I hope she brought some foods with her like I said on the note.
I stopped dancing and opened my eyes. I walked to the clean ground near where I placed my sandals and phone. Then, I'm waiting. I want to play a little and ask her for a dance to make up for the things she did for me tonight..

“Hello, there. I never saw a lady as beautiful as you,” I said and posing likes a prince or knight when Akarin opened the door and reveal herself under the moonlight. Akarin looks confused for a moment. But I think she finally got that I want to play.

“Ah, that’s so sweet of you,” she said and act like she was all shy and blushing.

“What is your name?” I was holding my laugh as I spoke. I think she also holds her laughs.

“My name is Akari~,” she said cutely.

“Your name really suit you,” I pointed with my hand, “And what is that you have on your hands?”

“It is foods, my prince. Do you want some?” So she really brought foods. I'm almost squealed of joy.

“If you want to give me some. May I have a dance with you first, my lady?” I bowed slightly and offering my hand to her. Then I winked at her.

“Of course you can~” she giggled and took my hand. I pulled her to the empty space where I danced with myself earlier.

We started dancing on some random tunes we hummed together. Sometimes we will laugh because of our little play earlier. Sometimes we will just smiled and gazed to each other. Under the moonlight, we danced until we felt exhausted.

We shared the foods Akarin brought up here while enjoying the night sky. Akarin has her head on my shoulder and we eat our foods on the silence.
I always enjoying moments like this. Full of innocence. This kind of innocence is the only innocence that left from my childhood.

“Akari?” I started to spoke again.

“Yes?” She answered without looking.

“Do you miss your innocent childhood?

“Who wouldn't?” We laughed together.

“Akari, thank you. For everything you did for me.”

“Mm-hm~”

I think she smiled. Then I felt her warm breath on my cheek. She nuzzled my cheek with her nose.

“Thanks for you too, Sawako.”

She called me with my name, not my nickname. She placed her head back to my shoulder.

World, is such a huge, noisy, cruel place. Filled with impurity and sins of the people. I realized it when my age just at my early teen. I lost my innocent mind at that age too. Akarin also had the same experience like me. I just experienced it sooner than her. Moment like this is just the field of innocence that left for us.

We don't want to lose it. Not this one. We already lost one.

Our childhood, our very first field of innocence, was already lost.

And we don’t want to lose another. No. Not again.

How is it? Is it good? Or bad?

The whole prince/knight and lady thing is from Special Movie KataFai Type C. That manzai segment.

Shawako and Akarin as ballerina is from SKE's Gaishi Hall concert, when Team KII sang Kodoku na Ballerina with Shawako and Akarin as the lonely
ballerina.

Shawako and Akarin as the characters because... I just want it. Also because their good chemistry when they did manzai along with Manatsu as the

Wow.. reading this brought me thinking about what Shawako's thinking too. I don't know, but somehow I can understand her sentiments.
And I also love the ambiance, especially at the rooftop under the full moonlight. Silent (since it's the night).. but so full of expression (hehe.. I don't know the best words to describe it.. sorry.)

Overall, you wrote the entire flow so well.
What else can I say beside a 'thank you very much', caghaunt-san...

kahem: I'm glad that you liked it. Well, I wonder, too. Shawako (Hata Sawako) is forever interesting, epic, and creepy at the same time.

aruka: I don't know the best way to describe it, either. But I really am thankful because someone could understand the sentiments! And the ambiance too. Thank you very much too, aruka-san!

Shit. It's already September 15th in Japan.

Anyway, Otanjoubi omedetou HATA SAWAKO-san (09/14) to OGISO SHIORI-san (09/15)!!!

Sinners

It was at early 16th century, late Medieval Age. Where all witches are being hunt and killed, or in their case, burned. Many woods are still untouched, full of wild animals. On a small cities or town near the forests, hunters are often being seen come back and forth from the woods, brought any kind of wild animals they found and managed to kill either to fed themselves or for money.

.

If beauty is a sin, then you are a sinner, and I too am a sinner because I’ve fallen for you.

.

One morning, a hunter—female hunter—come back from the woods, a quite small dead deer on her back. Her bow and arrows are secured on her waist to preventing it to be broken under the deer’s weight. Her hunting knives and sword unsheathed. Her leather jacket protect her shirt and body from the deer’s blood. Her face didn’t showed any emotion despite the deer’s weight is quite heavy.

She proceed her way to a small alley near to the border of the town—to her small house that is almost as the same as the other hunters’ house around hers—to the hunters’ neighborhood. It’s the town planning that made hunters’ house built near the border, so those who aren’t hunter could live without worrying any uncomfortable situation such as smelling animal bloods or whatever that may occurs or came from the neighborhood. The town planning also gave the hunters a quick access to the woods.

The female hunter arrived in her house and placed the deer on the small cleaning in the ground. She put her hunting tools, archery and sword down, leaning them to the wall and resting her body for a moment while watching the sun gave its morning rays. When she felt herself have enough rest, she picked her weapons and tools and put them inside her house. She also changed to a clean clothes and comfortable enough for her to work. Then she prepared a bag of salt and pulled out a hunting knife. She cleaned it with water, hung the deer upside down on its back legs and then began to skinned the deer. She tried to not make the skins got ripped. She also made sure the deer’s head is connected to the skins along with the tail and the deer’s nails.

She made a slit on the deer’s stomach, big enough for her to pulled out the visceras and gathered them in one place—she’ll buried them on the ground, far enough from her house. She chopped the meat—the only thing that left from the deer—into pieces based on the quality of the meat. She also pulled and chopped the tounge. It was one of the favorite and quick-selled parts of meats, because it has no bone.

When she was done, it was already past noon. Skinning really took her time. She decided to get a quick lunch as she started to get exhausted too. She washed both of her hands then she ate her lunch in silence, looking to the deserted road. Sometimes there are some people passed by. But it still deserted. What a peaceful neighborhood.

After lunch, she took a shovel and brought the viscera to a land behind her house. Far enough from her house and the others. There, she dig a hole and buried the viscera. After she made sure it didn’t stink, she went back and put her shovel away. Then, she cleaned the hunting knife she used earlier. It’s not good if you let the knife or blade or sword soaked with blood too long. It could get sticky and rusty. She also cleaned the meats from the blood and dirt then put it on a clean drying rack.

She opened a solid wooden box—the one she used to salt the meat—and pour the salt covered the bottom before put the meats inside. She placed the meats systematically so none of the salt get wasted and pour some more salt over them. She also pour some salt on the skins and hang it on a drying rack. She will take it to a tanning place in a few days.

She took her hunting knife and estinguished a torch she lit some time ago—she don’t remember when, she just remember that it was getting dark—and get inside her house. She placed her knife on a table and changed her clothes. She decided to go to a bar to get some drinks to warmed up her body—also to hear some of her friends stories while she was gone to the woods. She didn’t expect anything will happen to her at that time.

.

You and I, two immortal sinners. You, because your beauty is a sin, and 1, because I have fallen for you.

.

Opened the door with a slight push, a female hunter walked into a bar in the middle of the town. Her eyes scanned the place as she went to the counter. There’s some faces that she didn’t know or remember. Probably hunters from the other town or just those who travelling and decided to drop by.
Her eyes caught the sight of a bartender on the counter, serving one of the customer. She pulled out a stool and sat on it. She waited patiently for the bartender to finish her job.

“Hey, Yukko.” The female hunter said to the bartender when she walked to the hunter.

The bartender—Kinoshita Yukiko—just smiled and stopped in front of the hunter. “Shawako. How’s your hunts? Are you managed to get a big one?”

Shawako—Hata Sawako—the hunter, laughed. Then she spoke, “Not really. I got a small deer on the woods. Already done skinned and buried its meats under the salt. I think it will be one or two bags of money. Even though it small, it still took my time, really.”

“That’s good to hear. What do you want for your drink?”

“Ah, some scotch will do.” Yukiko got to her work and came back to Sawako with a bottle of scotch and a glass.

“Shiori and I have been dealt with travellers these lately. Some hunters were sometimes being seen. But not long enough as they’re always back to the woods or whatever they did. I don’t care as long as Shiori doesn’t involved,” Yukiko told Sawako. Her tone is cold as ice while her eyes focused on the two mens occupying a table with a waitress standing beside it. It looks like that she gonna murdering them if those two lie a finger on the waitress. The said waitress caught Yukiko looking at her direction and smiled. Yukiko held her breath and sighed.

“Sooo, you two are still together.” Sawako said in a light tone, or rather uninterested tone, gulping down some scotch while saying it. This caught Yukiko’s attention.

“Of couse it does. Do you think we won’t?”

“I didn’t meant like that. You and Yuria are cool, then? No anything between her and Ogiso? And how’s Yuria?”

“We’re cool. There’s never anything between them. Yuria was just get lonely because her cousin, Kumi, haven’t come back from the woods. Until now,”
Yukiko sat behind the counter and pointing to another waitress with her thumb, “she’s there, by the way. She also live with us.”

“Ku… mi? Oh, that Kumi? Yagami Kumi? So she haven’t back yet?” Sawako said,  her small voice sounded not so surprised at all. Her eyes looking at Yuria’s back, one of her eyebrows raised.

“Uh-uh. Some said that she’s kidnapped by a witch inside the woods. There’s no confirmed news about it. Some said it’s beasts from the past, some even said it was monsters. Yada, yada, yada. So many opinion. You won’t know which one is true. And nobody have a guts to went checking it, well, except for some people who said they knew what it was and decided to chased it. They never comes back, though. All hunters are now just hunting on the safe range from the town. Even though I think she just lost and can’t find her way back…”

”Scared, huh? These people who claimed they knew what it was… What did they said?” Sawako raised her eyebrows.

Yukiko furrowed her eyebrows, trying to recall her memories before she spoke, “I… remembered something with ‘hides in the shadows’, ‘darker than the dark’, ‘cursed for living’, ‘longing for blood’, and… ‘Sinners’.”

“Nothing more than that?” Yukiko tilted her head, and shook it.

“You’re not going to believe them, do you?” Yukiko eyed Sawako suspiciously. Her eyes searching for any emotion inside Sawako’s ones. She found curiosity on them, but just that.

Sawako placed her hands on her chin and smiled, looks rather playful than thinking seriously. Her brain processed every word Yukiko has said to her.

“I don’t know, Kinoshita. I don’t know. What they said is quite interesting, though.” Her smile widened and bowed slightly when Ogiso Shiori and Kizaki Yuria appeared on her sight. The bar has closed. But because Sawako is their—Yukiko’s, Shiori’s and Yuria’s—friend, she’s alright to stay longer than the average customers.

After put the cloth she used to cleaned the tables and washed her hands, Shiori placed her hand on Yukiko’s left shoulder, her eyes looked at Sawako and Yukiko by turns. Yuria bowed slightly to Sawako and went to the house part of the bar.

“Sorry gentlemens, for interrupting your talks. But—“

A loud noises from outside cut off Shiori’s words. Shouts and yells filled the air from a bunch of people with torches and knives in hands. They looks angry and scared on the same time. They are the merchants of the town. Some are butcher, and other kind of job on the town. All piled up into one.

Sawako, Yukiko and Shiori walked to the door and watching the group passed. “I just about to warn you two about this,” Shiori said, not looking to Sawako and Yukiko.

A man separated himself from the group and got into the bar. Occasionally asking if they saw any something or someone suspicious went into the bar or passed them. The three of them glanced to each other and shook their head. How could they know? They’re busy with their own. And it’s a bar for whatever’s sake!

“What the heck?” Yukiko asked the man.

“We don’t know, actually. But we found some dead vagrant on one of the small alley in the market. Their blood drained and some of it pooled around them. They died with so many deep cuts on their vital area, cutting off their main arteries. Their chest also cracked and opened as if someone had tried to did a heart surgery. Someone said he sees something crouched down above them, but he didn’t know what is that and this something ran off. It smelled worse than the animals those hunters killed, you know.” Grimaced, he ran off, catching up with his group.

Yukiko and Shiori looked at each other, then at Sawako—only to find her face expressionless. Nobody ever got to know what’s going on Sawako’s brain unless she talks about it, which is very rare. Moreover, this kind of situation isn’t helping at all.

“What a gore… Anyway, I wanna get some rest. See you tomorrow, Shawako. Come on, Yukko,” said Shiori, coming back inside, then to the second floor, where the house part is located.

Yukiko bid Sawako a goodbye then followed Shiori, closed the door of the bar and locked it in process.

Thus left Sawako alone. So, she went home and bought some groceries on her way.

.

You are beautiful, flawless, beyond perfection. That is why you are a sinner. That is why I am a sinner.

.

Sawako walked to the corner of an alley. The alley is the fastest route to her home. She didn’t intend to be outside for a long time. Spending time outside while you could get warm inside your house is a waste.

She saw a silhoutte crouched on the other end of the alley. She wanted to pretend it’s just a vagrant and went home immediately. But, her inquisitiveness crushed it . Sawako used her skill as a hunter to make her footsteps still going at a steady pace and firm but silent. Her grip on groceries bag tightened to prevented it to made any noises.

Sawako had a prey to hunt. And this one, won’t run from her grasp.

Sawako reached the silhoutte. It was a girl with long black messy hair. Shawako noticed that the girl’s clothes are dirty and torn on some places. The girl barefooted and even though she can’t saw the girl’s face or expression, Sawako could tell that she was scared and panic, as if she was caught or almost being caught doing some crime or something like that. Which is the truth Shawako didn’t know yet.

“What’re you doing here barefoot? Hiding from something or what?” Sawako asked and poked the girl’s with her index finger.

Startled, the girl react immediately. She jumped because of Sawako’s voice and her back being poked. She turned around, fisted her hands, and ready to attack Sawako, her long hair almost whipped Sawako when she turned. Sawako’s eyebrows raised while watching the girl before her with the patience of a hunter, waiting for the right moment.

Unfortunately for the girl, she got a vertigo and losing her footing. She fell to Sawako’s direction and will fall to the ground if Sawako didn’t grab her with one hand. She went unconscious on Sawako’s arm.

‘That face… Could it be…?’ is the last thought of the girl before she went all unconscious.

Sawako stared at the unconscious girl on her arm. Sawako confused, should she bring this mysterious girl to her home—because she didn’t know anything about her—or just leave her there to freeze.

Sawako struggled with her inner feeling for some seconds. Her morality won. Sawako dropped her groceries bag to the ground and tried to carried the
girl on her back. When Sawako had made sure that the girl was safe, she picked her groceries bag from the ground and continued went home.

.

We are immortal sinners, roaming the Earth for a sempiternity for a sin so deplorable.

.

Sawako reached her home and fumbled with her keys on the dark, didn’t want to risked  the sleeping girl on her back—the girl fall asleep on her back, still unconscious—to put her onto the cold ground. Sawako find the key she want and unlock the door. Sawako opened her door and get inside—pulled her keys out from the door and locked it—then placed her groceries on a table on the living room, she moved the girl on her back to her own bed in the bedroom. She’ll sleep on the couch she have for tonight. At least that what Sawako thought.

Sawako placed her keys on the bedside table and watched the girl she brought home sleeping, didn’t show any threat like when the girl tried to attack her earlier. The girl’s face looks innocent and friendly enough for a girl who just looks like a criminal, hiding on the dark place. Sawako also felt she knew this girl but couldn’t make out who she is. Suddenly, she remembered one of her dreams, but it’s gone as soon as it came. She set the fireplace to lighten up her bedroom and made her bedroom warm before examined the girl on her bed.

Seeing how dirty the girl is, Sawako lit up a lantern and took it with her to get a wet cloth to cleaned the girl and find some of her clothes that are big enough for the girl to wear. She didn’t want her bed to be dirty as well because of this certain girl.

After found what she needed, Sawako turned off her lantern and put a basin full of water with a clean cloth hanging on it on the floor. Sawako pulled a low-chair to the bedside next to the basin and sat on it, ready to work.

Sawako soaked the cloth with water, wet enough to clean something. First, Sawako cleaned the girl’s face and neck, pressed the cloth light enough to not hurt the girl. Then she cleaned the girl’s both arms and hands. Sawako was a bit surprised when she found out that the girl’s skin is cold, very much like a 2-24 hours corpse, minus the stiff part. ‘It must be the temperature outside. It’s really cold after all,’ Sawako thought.

After so much struggling about her inner self about moral (Sawako wanted to clean the girl’s thighs, as it also dirty. And stomach. The girl’s torn clothes can’t covered it), Sawako removed the girl’s clothes and began to cleaned the cold flesh under it while praying for the girl to not be woken up.

When Sawako was done—much to her relief—she put the clean clothes she picked earlier on the girl carefully, almost didn’t dare to looked at some certain body parts when doing it. Even though both of them are womens, she felt guilty doing that. Sawako felt relieved when the clothes she choose is fitted the girl on her bed.

Very relieved.

Sawako put away the wet cloth and the water she brought earlier to its original place—bathroom—and sat back on the chair at the bedside. She tucked the girl on her bed under the blanket. Sawako realized that she felt really tired from all her works today. She leaned her body to the front—almost dived to the bed—and fall asleep

It wasn’t even midnight.

.

You and I, we shall spend aeons together roving this earth as two immortal sinners.

.

A hand flew to a side,  hitting someone’s head. Rustling sounds of clothes against clothes could be heard. A body rolled to one side. Groans came out from a throat.

There’s two person in the room. Both of them are girls. One laid on her back in a bed, while the other sat on a chair beside the bed with both hands propped under her head.

The girl on bed had rolled her body to one side, groaning and frowning. Her hands fisted. Her expression showed like she was in pain, and rage.

The girl on chair moaned when she felt her head got hit. She lifted her head and rubbed her head with her almost numb hand on the place it hurted. She opened an eye and yawned. Tears came out from the corner of her eyes.

Sawako had woken up because of the girl in her bed hit her head, hard. Sawako looked at her surrounding before realized her back ached. Sleeping on
such position is not recommended, seriously.

Sawako scretched her body and looked at the other girl on the room. Her eyes droopy and her focus is edging. She heard the girl mumbling something indistinct. Something like “blood”, “food”, “wants”, “damn”, “market” and another that didn’t related to each words. Her mumbles really didn’t make any senses.

Sawako rubbed her sleepy eyes and tried to focused on the girl. She propped her hands under her head again, just now close to the girl’s face, so she could hear and looked at the girl clearly.

Now that she could hear and saw the girl’s expression clearly, Sawako heard the girl mumbling, “Blood... I want blood… Damn those people in the market… Interrupting my dinner…” and it goes on.

The girl neither open her eyes nor wake up. She was like someone who was dreaming and sleeptalking. Her face looks like she’s angry, though.

Sawako, now fully awake, her mouth hanging in the air. Her brain processed anything the girl has said on the sleeptalking. Sawako recalled on what
Yukiko and a man from the certain mob has told her last night. Her mind connecting one words and another.

‘Blood. “Longing for blood”. “Their blood drained”. Market. “Dead vagrant on the small alley in the market”. Found her hiding. “Ran off”. Could it be… But…’ she stopped thinking, her hand touched the girl’s forehead, it didn’t cold anymore like last night. It really was the matter of the temperature.

Sawako closed her jaws and stiffened when she heard the girl begged for blood on her sleep. The girl’s expression showed so much rage. Her hands also looks like wanted to crushed something.

Sawako torn in between leaving the girl and went back to sleep or giving the blood the girl wanted. She could just do the first option, but it won’t be the best decision to make. But if she goes with the latter, whom blood she will give?

The girl kept mumbling her wanting for blood while Sawako was thinking. Not to mention the girl’s pain seems increased. This is the time for Sawako to choose the right decision.

Sawako clicked her tongue for several times and began to looking for her hunting knife. She remembered that she put her beloved hunting knife on the table, so she searched there. Her hand searched the area and bumped into a shape—her hunting knife. Sawako picked it and positioned it on her lower left arm, not too close to the veins. She didn’t intended to die by now.

Sawako relaxed her left arm and made a cut on it, drawing blood to the surface. Sawako put her knife away and grabbed the girl’s chin to opened her mouth. Sawako positioned now wounded left arm with the blood dripping from it to the girl’s mouth. Letting her blood dropped into it.

As soon as a couple drop of blood touched the girl’s tounge, her eyes opened. Hunger could be seen from there. Her eyes focused on the blood-dripping arm in front of her mouth. She took a firm grip and began to drink all the blood that came out from the wound, making Sawako tensed.

It seems that the girl knew and loosen her grip. She licked all the blood that remained around the arm and the wound. When she released Sawako’s arm, Sawako checked it immediately noticed a faint scar that left. Sawako turned back her attention to the girl just to get stunned by the girl’s before her.

Under the light from the nearly dead fireplace, Sawako could saw the girl’s face smeared with Sawako’s blood around her mouth. Her mouth curved into a delightful smile; her lips covered with blood. Her eyes shined unnaturally; unhumanly.

Sawako wasn’t scared. Sawako wasn’t shouted or doing something like that. She just froze on her spot, like if she was cursed into a rock. In Sawako’s point of view, she could comparing the girl before her as a Lucifer—a tempting Lucifer—luring humans to sinning and made them to be the company of the Lucifer deep in the Hell, away from the God and His salvation.

The fire on the fireplace got smaller, leaving the burnt coals, making the room engulfed with the darkness and a faint light from outside. Sawako blinked. On the next second she felt a hand grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to the front – to her bed – and made her lay on her back. A body lay itself on her side; a hand touched her cheek softly. A pair of soft lips pressed against her own; Sawako could taste her own blood; it tasted coppery but surprisingly sweet.

As if the owner of the lips who just kissed her reads Sawako’s mind, the girl whispered in a hushed tone, “Greetings, Hata Sawako. I’m Suda Akari,” when Sawako just stared blankly at her, she continued, “it’s really sweet, isn’t it? You want some more?”

The girl didn’t wait for Sawako’s answer. Instead, she pressed her lips to Sawako’s again. And the last thing Sawako knew before she closed her eyes, is that she was drowned in the darkness; and that she knew she was sinning. And she wasn't surprised when she found out that she didn’t mind it. She enjoyed it.

‘I finally found you, my Dark Prince,’ thought the girl who kissed Sawako.

Then Sawako was drowned into the darkness.

.

You, because you are beautiful, flawless, beyond perfection, and that makes you a wretched sinner.

.

Sawako was drowned. She’s drown into darkness. She saw a small light that looks so far from her. She tried to get closer to the light. Her hands reached out above her, hopelessly trying to found anything to stop her from drowning. Her legs kicked out desperately, hoping that it will brought her closer.

After some moments of trying, she stopped. Her hands and legs were tired. She let herself floating on the darkness with a knowledge that she won’t be able to get out from the darkness. She stared at the light that got fainter by seconds.

When the light was gone, she hung her head low. She started to laughed at her condition at this time. Her laughter sounded harsh and contained her own darkness on it. She wanted to kill herself on the spot. She didn’t care of any people that could be worried about her. She didn’t care about those all.

A clapping sounds came into her hearing sense. Frowned, she turned to the source of the sounds. The sounds that sounded to loud in the void darkness she currently in. Sawako saw a girl, a girl named Suda Akari. The same girl that she found and fainted on her, gave her blood to, kissed her, and caused her to drown in this place.

“Congratulations, my Dark Prince, Hata Sawako,” Akarin said, a playful smile could be seen in her face.

“Suda Akari. Please explain. Please start from what are you,” Sawako ordered. She made a straight face and her eyes held a stern gaze, her hands hung at her sides. She’s certainly not impressed.

“Relax, my dear. I’ll explain it one by one. But it won’t make sense if you not serene.” Akarin sauntered behind Sawako and draped her arms around Sawako, clinched her from behind. She could felt Sawako become rigid in her embrace, but not rejecting her. Akarin smiled and settled her chin on the crook on Sawako’s neck. Finding a comfortable spot, she continued.

“I really meant it you know. You won’t understand anything if you didn’t relax.” Akari breathed to Sawako’s neck, making her shivered but eventually trying to be relax.

“Good,” Akari pressed her lips on Sawako’s neck, “now listen to me.

“I’m like a mortal. I’m not an immortal. I’m no angel or devil. I’m not a kind of creature like human out there know. No. You could say that I’m a Lucifer. But I’m also not a Lucifer. I used to think that I’m one of the descendants of them. I’m a sinner, to be exact. I’ve done so many sins, unforgivable ones. After all this time, I never think of the God’s deliverance. Never once,” Akari paused, “In simpler words, I’m the same being like you.” Akari finished her self-explanation. By the time she was speaking, a bench had altered itself from the dark, controlled by Akari. The both of them were sat on it, Akari was leaning into Sawako’s right shoulder. Her hands were playing with Sawako’s fingers.

“…Why did you drank those vagrants’ blood?” Sawako asked again. She’s no longer stiff. Her position is as relaxed as one could be when a weight leaned on a side. She looked at her fingers that were being played with.

“You knew that we have to get some blood at least once per one or two months for… I think you already know, Sawako. Years ago, when some mortals saw me doing that, they mistaken me and calling me a vampire, then I have to killed them,” Akari laughed, “oh, that Vlad… causing rumors like that,” her tone softened, “its been a year or more since I last tasted the blood, you know. I really need it. And your blood is just so…” Akari reminiscing the moment when Sawako’s blood dripped to her tongue.

Sawako stared at the tip of Akari’s head, a bit speechless. But managed to asked her next question. “Why did you know my name and call me yours ‘Dark Prince’? The last time I checked it, I’m still a women and I ain’t a prince. So… why?”

Akari knew that this would coming but she didn’t has a proper answer for that, a faint tint of red spread across her cheek. “Ah… That… How should I put this…? I… saw your images kept appearing on my sleep. It’s kinda like a vision. I always saw you being torn between the bright side and the dark side of your minds and the world. But you remained still at the middle of it and have more the dark side gotten into you. Then I saw myself appeared next to you and…” Akari didn’t continue, too shy to said it.

“I can’t tell you why I called you my Dark Prince. I just.. can’t. About your name… I know your name as soon as I tasted your blood. You are Hata Sawako, my Dark Prince, and more than it. Your blood had more secrets on it than what you already knew.”

Akari looked at Sawako, their eyes met in an intense stare, even though there’re still any hints of embarassment on Akari. Sawako’s eyes expressed her disbelief and confusion. Sawako didn’t say anything. But her eyes did.

“I’ll take it that you doesn’t understand what I meant by ‘in the middle of bright side and dark side’. I prefer to call it ‘the grey side’, by the way. It’s the state where you’re not a holy, goody-goody person, but you’re not completely bad either. But you well aware when you do sins or something what humans called ‘bad’ or ‘evil’ and didn’t try to reject it. Because it’s the fact.”

“How—how do you know?”

“As I said earlier, your blood spoke more than your mouth,” Akari tapped her index finger to Sawako’s lips, “you are not an ordinary mortal, Sawako. You are never be like one of them, no matter how hard you’d tried. You are a sinner. Your appearance, your efforts to being kind to people, yet you still fallen to the darkness of yours. Then I’m fallen to you.”

Sawako pushed Akari’s finger away from her mouth and gripped both of Akari’s hand to Akari’s sides and pulled Akari closer. “Stop. Please, stop. Enough. I knew that. I also knew that I’m a same being with you. Since I talked to one of the mortals who considered me as her friend. Since I heard you sleeptalking. I knew that. Would you tell me what did you saw on your dream?” Sawako clenched her hands, tightening her grip on Akari. She asked because she also dreamt about it for several nights. But she didn’t expected it to become true.

“…I don’t want to tell you. Why don’t you figure it out yourself?” Akari released one of her arms from Sawako’s grip and extended it out. A small, short, sharp blade formed from the darkness into her palm. Akari brought it in between her and Sawako, as if she was offering it to the person in front of her.

“Drink some of my blood, will you?”

Sawako knew that this will come. She finally will know the truth. Akari watched as Sawako gritted her teeth, then she placed the razor to one point on her neck far from her blood vessel and slit it. As soon as the blood trickled, the blade turned back into a pile of darkness and Sawako closed her mouth around the cut, squeezed the blood out softly. Sawako’s hand swiped Akari’s hair from the neck, at the same time tilted Akari’s head so it didn’t get head-butted.

Memories began to flood Sawako’s mind when she took her first gulp. She squeezed out more blood, started her second take. Akari moaned when she felt more pressure and gripped the front of Sawako’s shirt tightly. Sawako held Akari tighter. When the flood of memories comes to an end, Sawako cleaned the remaining blood.

It all happened just in seconds, yet it felt like minutes to them and who knows in the real world, as the place they were in right now is the world of illusion, but it felt like a reality.

Sawako raised her head and met eyes to eyes with Akari. Understanding and relief could be seen from Sawako.

“So that was you… My Lady…” Sawako raised one of her arms to caresses Akari’s smooth cheek, the other brought Akari’s body closer to her. The gap between them closed. Their arms snaked around each other.

Then, the darkness consumed them.

.

I, because I am incapable of resisting your temptation, and thus I, too, have commited a sin so direly irremissible.

.

Sawako’s life as a citizen and a hunter in the town didn’t really change since that night. Her friends still the same as before. It’s just her private life that changed. Akari is now live with her and they share the same bed.

Sawako had introduced Akari to Yukiko, Shiori and Yuria when she brought Akari with her to the bar. They got along very well. When they asked where did Akari came from, she faked the information.

Akari also getting along with the people on the town, but they still didn’t know that it was Akari who made a ruckus on the market. Now that case has been dropped from discussion. Akari is now dubbed as “Sawako’s wife” by some people. She didn't mind it.

Kumi—Yuria’s cousin—has came back. Based on her story, she managed to get out from the wood but ended up in another town. She collapsed in the main street of that town then helped by a girl named Kanon. Kumi brought Kanon to this town when she was back.

It seems lovely and peaceful. But Sawako and Akari know no matter how nice and peaceful they live now, they were still a sinners.

No matter how they live.

Sinners. The both of them.

All we did is wrong and unforgivable, yet it was so right and tempting

I fall for you, you fall with me; down to the dingles of disgrace, down to vales of humiliation, together we fall.

Yet I do not mind, for it was you who plunged me into this deplorable iniquity.

Is it really all right for us to have been born into this world?

Post by: caghaunt on November 12, 2012, 06:39:42 PM
A random thoughts and memories led me to make this short-fic.

Secret

Shinoda Mariko always held a secret. A secret she couldn’t even tell to her closest friends. A secret so dark and would bring her career down, if not make her looks appealing.

In front of camera and social networks she could be seen with her fellow 48 groups members or her friends. Supporting even the so-called MariHaru or MariKoji, a pair fans had made about her and Kojima Haruna.

But in truth, it was just her act. She didn’t even like Haruna that way. She was just feeling that it was her duty to kept the fans happy. It was her job as an idol anyway.

.

Shinoda Mariko was walking down the street, heading towards her house. She was alone. But if you observed her or walked really close to her, you could saw her lips moved slightly and heard some phrases whispered through them.

“What do you want for dinner, my dear?

“…Hee… The gyoza leftover which I keep inside the freezer?

“…Alright. Anymore?

“…Hm. Gyoza with cucumber salad, then.”

Yeah, she was talking to herself. One person could said that she’s crazy, suppressed under the stress from works. But no, she’s not. She’s just talking to herself, or to be precise, to the image of herself as her girlfriend.

Shinoda Mariko likes and loves herself. Not herself as a male, but herself as her own self. As creepy as one person might think, it’s true.

.

Left arm snaked its way to the right side of the body, imitating what a hug with an arm should be like. The other arm reached up to the face of the owner, the fingers caressing the smooth skin under it. A pair of eyes gazed lovingly to the reflection of a person on the mirror.

It was Shinoda Mariko, standing before a full-body mirror, hugging herself as if she was hugged by another person.

“…I love you, too.

“…What? Revealing our relationship to the public? It’s impossible.

“…It’s not like that. Our relationship is our own secret to keep. You certainly don’t want me to be sent into a mental hospital, do you?

“…Don’t worry, my dear, don’t worry.”

Mariko released her self-hug and pressed herself on the mirror, kissing her own reflection.

.

Shinoda Mariko always held a secret. A secret she couldn’t even tell to her closest friends. A secret so dark and would bring her career down, if not make her looks appealing. She likes her own self, in a romantic way. This was the truth she always hid beneath her calm and playful attitude.

May this secret remains secret.

See you at the next update!

Your one-shots are very cute! I love reading fanfiction that is set in Majisuka Gakuen, since it features the AKB48 girls with a rather different perspective on their personalities. But in your first one-shot, Cuteness Overload!! they seem rather like their usual selves. I actually first read this one-shot on Tumblr. As always, Yuko is clinging to Kojiharu Torigoya. But the highlight of the story is, of course, cute Gekikara. Or should I say Amakuchi?

I Don’t Care helped me learn the Center/Nezumi ship name, which is apparently Cenezu! The two of them are an interesting pairing, because they have such a strong dependence on one another. Center's parents left her alone, no one has ever truly cared for Nezumi. They desperately need the love and friendship of each other.  :deco:  It's a very touching story, especially Nezumi's love confession.   It's cute how she becomes so embarrassed when Center asks her "would you repeat it, please". But at least she took the initiative and kissed her. I wonder, was it their first kiss?

Speaking of other things, your comment on Team Fondue not being able to take over Rappapa concerns me. Paralleling it to the real AKB48 world, next generation members are being pushed (especially Shimazaki Haruka) to take "teppen" in the group. And maybe they aren't up to it yet. At least the next generation has some potential, in the fighting spirit of "Center", and the intelligence of "Nezumi". Why did Maeda graduate leave Majisuka Gakuen before Center even had a chance to really prove herself against the actual center?!

Oh, and... Shaku and the handycam that recorded the private Cenezu scene.

Letting Her Go is so painful to read... How Sado is being torn in all different directions, having give up the gorgeous woman that she loves to her best friend and "partner in crime". She can't hurt either of them, yet she wishes she had met Torigoya first so things might have turned out differently. How she knows Torigoya loves Yuko, and how it hurts her to see the cheerful friend hospitalized...

These lines are heartbreaking. "You’re just an older sister to her, Mariko. Let her go. She loves Oshima Yuko. Not you. Just let her go…”

I look forward to more Majijo one-shots!  :twothumbs

@Majijo.Soul I'm glad you found my MJGK oneshots cute or interesting. I don't know if I would write more MJGK shots in the future though. Thanks for reading anyway!!!

@cisda83 Next chapter? I have no next chapter since this thread is for oneshots. I'm sorry. Unfortunately I'm not interested on making any AtsuMina fic, you might as well read AtsuMina fics from another writer than me. Thanks for reading!!!

@kahem For Mariko is having a selfcest? Nah, let's just say that that possibility haven't occur on your mind before.

Hello everyone. I didn't post any fic this time because I'm kinda have no inspiration for the time being and school is giving me a hard time.

I've put an index on the first page to make it much more easier to find my fics.

I was thinking of do some editing of Sinners and if possible make it more enjoyable to read and have more in-depth plot than the original one. Maybe will have more words too.

But since I don't have many time to do that any sooner and the tendency of procrastinating is high on me I'm not guaranteeing any fics or updates from me.

This time though, I will ask to those who has read my fanfics to criticize me on my writing. I want to know what did you guys think of my writing style. I will take any critics to consider how will I write my next fic (if any) to be enjoyable.

I will ignore those who want me to write a/some pairing/s though.

I'm looking forward to any critics.

Yah, hello. Long time no see. Still busy and apparently had writer's block for a year or so. Still have it. I'm just dropping a old drabble I haven't got a chance to post.

Lily

“The perfect flower to be given to a woman is rose.”

Yukko used to heard those sayings. She heard them being said on the flourists when she stopped by, heard them being said by people, both in real world and internet. She used to believed them.

But now, Yukko knew better. Or rather, Shiori knew better. Shiori said the perfect flower for them, Shiori and Yukko, is lily.

When Yukko asked Shiori what did she mean by that, Shiori just smiled and said, “Open your japanese dictionary, Yukko.”

Yukko did what Shiori told her to. What she read made her giggled to herself.

The next time they met, Yukko grinned to Shiori and handed her a bouquet of lilies. Shiori accepted them with smirk and said, “It’s lily, Yukko. It always is.”

Feel free to leave any kind of comments. Still hoping for constructive critics though.

Title: Re: Oneshots: SKE48 fic - The nth Time (Furuhata Nao/Suga Nanako) [2014.04.20]
Post by: caghaunt on April 20, 2014, 11:45:12 AM
Hello there. A brief explanation if there's someone out there wondering have my writing seems worsen, this is my first attempt to write a fic after months or that a year? not doing this.

The nth Time

The first time they met, she’s just another people drinking in a bar to Nanako. They didn’t know each other and didn’t have any intention to know.

She noticed Nanako’s blank stare on her and turned her head towards the owner of the gaze. Their eyes eventually met.

Nanako saw her got up from her stool, smiling a little and disappear on the crowds.

.

The second time they met, isn’t exactly a meeting. Nanako found her sat atop of crates eating apple at the parking lot of a bar, completely unfazed by cars’ lights flashing before them.

Nanako stood beside the crates, unsure if she wanted to greet the girl or if the girl didn’t recognized her presence. Apparently Nanako knew she recognized her presence as she asked Nanako, “If you found a beautiful flower, no matter what kind of flower it is, what would you do?”

Nanako stood still on her place. At one side shocked that she asked her a question, and at one side she’s taken aback by the sudden, weird question.

“…Take it with me, I guess?” Nanako replied unsure.

“Even if you already knew the flower won’t be the same again?”

Nanako didn’t answer that, didn’t know how to answer. So she stood there quietly, as the other girl continued to ate her apple.

They still didn’t know each other.

.

The third time they met, Nanako was dancing to some loud music in the bar when they bumped into each other somewhere in the dance floor. Both sweating a little as the room temperature seems a bit higher in there.

“So we meet again,” said the girl who ate apple on the other day.

“So we are,” Nanako replied. They actually made some real conversationn, not just an ask and answer to some random question.

“How do you think?”

“About what?”

“This place of course,” she shrugged nonchalantly.

“Not bad. Though they seriously need to add more beverages, I should say,” they laughed.

“I’m Furuhata Nao.”

“I’m Suga Nanako. Nice to meet you.”

That was a step. At least they knew each other names by now.

.

The fourth time they met, Nanako saw her drinking with some other girls on a table near the counter. She walked to where Nao was and decided to join.

“Hey. Do you mind if I joined you?” Nanako stood before the table.

“No, I’m not. Please help yourself,” Nao smiled at her, then distracted by her companion, “it tickles there.”

Nanako watched as Nao run her fingers on her companion cheek, telling her to go get some drinks..

“You hadn't exactly answered my question some other day,” Nao spoke as her companion left them alone.

“Huh? Which one?” Nanako still mesmerized by how Nao act just then. She even imagined how it’s like to be touched by Nao.

“If you found a beautiful flower, no matter what kind of flower it is, what would you do? That one.”

“I think I would still be taking it home with me.”

“Knowing it won’t be the same again?”

“Well, I could always placed it on a watered vase. What about you? What would you do?”

“If I were you, I would gaze at it. Scared if I touch it, it won’t be beautiful anymore. Contaminated by human’s hands.”

.

“I’m scared I’ve contaminated you,” said Nao one night. They sat on a couch at one of the room in a cheap hotel. Fully clothed, just more sober after they
drank two bottles of cold water instead of tequila.

Nanako didn’t really remember how are they ended up there. She didn’t know what happened beside went inside a bar then encountered Nao at the counter.

“I’m not scared of you contaminate me. I think I’d contaminated ever since I saw you,” Nanako said quietly.

“Is that so. Huh. Do you mind if I contaminate you more? I’ve always wondering how the fruits of roses tastes like,” Nao gave Nanako a sidelong glance
and reached out to her, released Nanako’s hair from its ponytail and caressed her cheek in process.

“I don’t mind it, you know,” Nanako grabbed Nao’s hands on her cheek and squeezed it.

She leaned in to Nao and whispered to her, “If the fruit you said meant me, I allow you to taste it. Then tell me how it is.”

That was the nth time they met.

Feel free to leave any comments.

THIS!
I actually searched for NaoNan fics a lot but to my dismay, I only found one. This makes the 2nd NaoNan fic I read, and I really really like this.  :inlove:

It has more mature theme to it and the flow makes it easier to read, especially for people's who's English is bad, like me.

Thank you for your comments! Late reply, I know. Tried to mix Team E's Lay Down performance and some Bara no Kajitsu.

DC2805: Thank you. I thought something darker would good when school-life setting is popular.

Shinoki: Is it? I thought my grammar is worsened.... I think your way of comment will improve someday.

Mikirin: Consider you're lucky when found it, I think? I know how it feels when your "ship" is a small ship compared to the other. Oh, whoa. And here I thought this one needs more description though I desperately restrain myself to not reveal too much.

Trying to be productive here.

This is a direct adaptation of Kizuitara Kataomoi PV. Please forgive me if this looks weird.

Dandelion

The performance ended. So is her life. She knew it. She could felt it, the last seed, hanging on the seedhead.

She turned her head to the right, facing away from the crowd before her. It’s not that the view wasn’t amazing, but she knew it’s her time limit and she has to say it before she disappears.

She saw the two persons who protected her extended life. She smiled sadly at them. She would part with them. She didn’t cry. She knew she was supposed to be dead, anyway.

“Bye bye,” she said, looking at her fellow members, who she was with on her last days, cherished every moments she had with them.

A moment of silence, then she disappears, her body dispersed like dandelion’s seeds. She left them, beautifully.

Tears were shed in silent cry. No one moves, except the fans in front of them, who thought it was a special effect.

There, in the dressing room, a single seed flew. There is also a photo of Nogizaka46’s members for their 8th single. The seed landed right on top of the new center’s face. Her crooked smile in the photo was covered by the seed.

Her name was, Nishino Nanase.

.

Fans’ chants were heard from the backstage. It was the first live performance of their new single. They supposed to be anxious, of their performance, of the dance steps, but no, they were not.

Nanase leaned on Nanami’s embrace, felt that her life, her time in this world was only a few minutes. The other surrounded them, with Mai furthest to the both.

“Do you think you could perform?” Nanami whispered to Nanase. Mai and she knew the state of the dandelion Nanase’s life was hanging on.

“I’m alright. I think… at least until the song is over….” Nanase predicted, “let’s go.”

With her statement, the members went to their starting position. Everyone hid their real emotion, each wore a smile as their mask.

The curtain opened, and they began to sing.

.

It was the last day of the lessons for their new single. Fortunately, there’s no strong wind on that day and no dandelion seeds were scattered.

On that last day, the members, including Nanase, decided to took a commemorative photo as a celebration… and a memoriam.

A memoriam of Nishino Nanase.

They all were smiling on the photo.

.

Nanase spent her limited life with the members. She danced, laughed and ate with them. She cherished every second of her life with the memories of her friends. She made sure of it.

Then, the countdown started as the dandelion on the yard  of the building they trained on dispersed its seeds.

Nanase started to notice it when she discussed some parts of the song’s lyrics with some members and her hand suddenly went weak. Unable even to lift the pencil she held made it rolled to the ground, attracted members’ attention to her. She stared at her hand.

“It started,” she whispered to herself, but loud enough for those around her to hear.

As time went by, she still able to move, to dance, to sing. But there’s a point when the next dispersal of the dandelion seeds halted her when she trained her dance moves.

She fled from her position to a nearest window and coughed out some seeds from her throat as the other continued the dance routine except Ikoma as she was recording that day’s lessons.

Ikoma recorded the lesson with her phone. But, when Nanase fled out from the camera’s focus, she only gazed at Nanase.

She can't do anything about it, except cherishing every moment spent with Nanase.

.

She stood in the yard, stared longingly to a single dandelion that grew up there.

“Nanase,” she heard Nanami called her name and turned her head to Nanami, who walked towards her. They looked at each other before turned their attention to the view from the yard as the place was on top of a cliff.

Both of them watch silently for a while before Nanase broke it.

“I’m glad I met with all of you,” she said, wearing her crooked smile on her face, “I’m really glad to be one of the members.”

“In that case, this time you should be yourself when with everyone,” Nanami smiled warmly to Nanase. Nanase nodded affirmatively.

“Let’s definitely make the live a success!” Nanami grinned. Nanase hummed in response. Both of them grinned at each other.

“Nanase! Let’s practice!” Mai walked to Nanami’s side and smiled at Nanase, “everyone is waiting.”

“Let’s go,” Nanami smiled. Nanase hummed again and the three of them walked back to the building.

.

It was night. The practice was halted to gave them time to rest. Most of them didn’t have any intention to leave the room, too tired to walk.

Nanase saw Mai standing before a window and approached her.

“Mai,” Nanase tried to greet Mai. Mai stayed quiet and leave Nanase immediately, but Ikoma saw the scene and decided to confront Mai.

“I know you’re frustrated, but aren’t you being too cold?” Ikoma stopped Mai from fleeing the room. Mai avoided Ikoma’s eyes and didn’t answer the question. Members started to watch the scene.

Nanase, who felt the misunderstanding will get bigger, tried to defend Mai, “No, it’s wrong!   Mai is worried about my condition….”

But she didn’t get to finished her sentence, as she felt herself weakened and passed out on the floor. Mai was the first to notice it.

Ikoma and the others tried to make Nanase wake up. But Mai stayed on her place and looked out to the window. It was raining, and the dandelion almost fell to the ground.

Mai ran from the room immediately. Nanami who saw her left was running after her. Nanami didn’t understand what was Nanase’s meant at the time when they relaxed on the cliff. ‘But Mai might know something,’ Nanami thought.

As they left, the members noticed that there’s something weird happened to Nanase. There’re white things that flew out from around her body, as if Nanase was dispersed to the air.

Outside, Nanami followed Mai ran to the yard. She was shocked when she found her crouching to the ground, trying to protect a dandelion Nanami saw with Nanase with her body. But she remembered the look Nanase gave at the dandelion and thought that the dandelion might had something to do with Nanase.

Nanami followed Mai’s action. She also crouched on the ground in front of Mai. ‘This should be able to protect it from the wind coming from this side,’ she thought.

As they saw the dandelion below them, they thought, ‘I will protect Nanase’s life!’

Mai knew Nanase’s condition on the practice room wouldn’t improved unless the rain stopped. She cried silently while protecting the dandelion.

When the rain stopped, both of them stayed like that for a while, making sure that the rain really stop. Then went back quickly to the building, worried about Nanase.

Inside the room, Nanase slowly gained her consiousness. She sat up slowly, and when Mai reached the room, followed closely by Nanami, she hugged Nanase at once. She cried on Nanase shoulder. Then she felt Nanase hugged her back and gripped her shirt tightly.

“Everyone… I’m sorry for no telling you about it,” Nanase said quietly.

Nanami cried and watched as everyone gathered around Nanase. She slowly walked towards the group and joined them.

.

The first dance lesson started right after the announcement was made. While the hands moves wasn’t that hard, it was the timing and the legs steps that needs more speed and precisement. With Nanase’s body, she was slow following it.

‘If this continue, I won’t make it,’ Nanase thought on a resting time of the lesson. If she can’t improve herself, she won’t make it through the first live before she died.

She understood that her life was granted. That she was playing against time. That she didn’t have much time left. Unlike the others, who could joked and relaxed at this time.

“Nanase, go rest for a while…” Nanase could heard Ikoma talked to her. But her eyes kept focusing on the mirror in front of her and didn’t move. Only when she caught a glimpse of Mai walking outside she did move. No, not to rest, but to catching up to Mai. Ikoma, who realixed that she was being ignored, watched as Nanase walked out of the room with wary eyes.

“Mai?” Nanase called out once she caught up with Mai and stopped her from walking further. Mai turned her head slowly but not meeting up with Nanase’s gaze at her.

“Nanase, it’s impossible, you know,” she said to Nanase and continued walking.

Nanami who saw their conversation went up to Nanase and said, “What’s happened?”

Nanase didn’t answer her and walked to the yard, she sat on an elevated base of the next building and stared at the dandelion sadly. Nanami followed after.

Nanami looked at Nanase and waited for her to speak.

“I… don’t have much time left,” Nanase said, still staring at the dandelion. Nanami saw the sadness on Nanase’s eyes then trailed her gaze to the dandelion.

‘What was that for?’ Nanami thought.

.

She stood towards the view in front of her, thinking about her time in the world, when she heard some voices called her name.

“Ah, there’s Nanase!” It was Fukagawa’s voice.

“The election has been announced. Let’s go!” This time it was Ikoma’s.

Nanase wiped her eyes to made sure she didn’t cry and ran to the open door, followed Ikoma and Fukagawa running down the stairs.

When she took a turn on the next staircase she heard some staffs congratulate her.

“Congratulation! Do your best!” they said. She didn’t reply as she didn’t know what are they talking about.

On the corridor to the practice room, she heard some members shouted at her.

“Come on, Nanase! You’re late!” while grinning at her. She stared at them questioningly while being ushered to enter the room. Inside, all of the members crowded on a single whiteboard on the room.

“Congrats!” and “Nanase, good luck!” were heard once she walked closer to the whiteboard.

“Congratulation,” Nanami said smiling as she was in front of the whiteboard. There’s a paper glued to it, with her name placed at the bottom center with red mark, which indicated her as the center of the new single.

Nanase stared at her name and said, “Since I was elected, I’ll work myself to death.”

Of course the members took the “death” word as a joke, they didn’t know anything.

Everyone congratulated her again, except Mai, who didn’t say anything since the election was announced. Mai also knew that Nanase wasn't joking about working herself to death.

Nanase noticed it, but she didn’t say anything about it.

.

Mai was walking back to the practice building from a convenience store nearby when she received a call from a member.

“Nishino-san is… Nishino-san is….” The caller said hurriedly.

“Slow down…” Mai didn’t continue what she wanted to say as she saw Nanase’s body lying on the ground in front of a dandelion. It seems that she found what was the caller wanted to say to her.

She disconnected the call and rushed to Nanase’s side, trying to wake Nanase up.

“Nanase! Nanase! Nanase! Oi, Nanase!” Mai shook Nanase fiercely. It worked.

Nanase’s eyelids fluttered and she saw Mai’s blurred image hovered in front of her.

“Mai,” she called out to Mai, “please don’t say it to everyone….

“I think, my time to be in this world….

“Is only until this dandelion dispersed its seeds….”

Mai was silent. She wasn’t sure what to do. So she did the only one thing to Nanase.

“Okay….”

.

Nanase saw some people hovering above her, and heard them asking if she could hear them and if she was alright.

‘Eh, Am I… going to die...?’ she thought and saw her heartbeat on the electrocardiogram. It was down from 40 to 36.

‘God, please… give me some more time…’ she pleaded.

On her last futile attempt, she raised her left hand towards the lamp. At her last heartbeat, she saw the image of the dandelion in the yard of Nogizaka’s building, then she heard the beeping sound of the machine stopped for a while.

Then her heart started beating again.

She was granted a short, extended life.

.

Miona sat on a corridor of a local hospital. She was waiting for the result of the check up of her sprained wrist. She was watching a video of Nanase which was taken yesterday.

It felt nostalgic to her, even though it was just happen yesterday. She smiled at the image of Nanase in the video. It was when some hospital staffs passed her.

They were moving a bed at such a speed. She couldn’t see who was it, but she managed to saw the left hand of the person in the bed. She recognized the watch the person wore and watch the video on her phone again.

‘It’s Nishino-san!’ she screamed on her mind.

.

“Ah, this is cute!” Miona reached out to a dandelion, ready to pluck it.

“No, no, don’t do it,” Nanase put her hand between Miona’s and the dandelion.

“Eeh, let’s pluck it,” Miona whined at her.

“No, because even a flower like this is alive,” Nanase gave Miona her crooked smile.

“Eeeh, but I want to show it to everyone…” Miona tried to negotiate.

“No, stop it,” Nanase still smiling as she said it.

She confiscated Miona hands for a few times before Miona gave up on it. She smiled at the dandelion. Proud of herself to be able to protected it.

She didn't know that her life would be like the dandelion in front of her.

Shinoki Don't call it wonderful, please. I still need to improve myself. I think I saw some errors on it....

White Hawk Yay for the MV! If only KataFai was also made like KizuKata... Thanks to you too, for reading my fic.

My brain suddenly screamed to me to write GoriKitty after that awesome Mikitty's seitansai. This is a drabble.

Cats

Cats.

Cats.

Cats.

That’s what Risako first saw everytime she visited Miki’s house.

“Meow!” A cat slipped through her legs from behind. Risako froze in her tracks as she felt the cat circled her legs.

She didn’t want to push any of the cats since these cats belongs to her beloved Miki.

“Miki-chan?” Risako called Miki from the lobby. She heard Miki’s vague reply from the living room.

“Miki-chan? You’re here?” Risako asked again when she reached the japanese-style living room.

Miki moaned a reply because she was lying on her stomach and her back was made into a bed by her cats.

Risako, whose already used to the scene in front of her, smiled slightly. She made a room for herself beside Miki and lied there, curling against Miki, imitating her cats.

Miki noticed this and turned her head to where Risako was lying, she gave Risako a questioning looks. Risako met her gaze and gave Miki a shy smile, curling deeper against her.

‘Cats aren’t that bad, I think,’ Risako reassured herself, sighed contently while Miki grinned in secret.

Err, is this alright?

Title: Oneshots: SKE48 fic - Silent Understanding (M Rena/F Airi) [2015.05.15]
Post by: caghaunt on May 15, 2015, 09:06:52 AM
Managed to dish out a drabble is kinda like an accomplishment to me.

Please inform me if there's any grammar or spelling mistake.

Silent Understanding

Airi knew it even before she started using twitter. She knew Rena's twitter account by heart. After all, she did stalk Rena's account from the very beginning.

Now that she had her own twitter account, she kept on stalking Rena's. But never followed it. Nor did Rena follow hers. And it's alright. Because there's this kind of silent understanding.

Even after she graduated from SKE, they won't reveal the true nature of their relationship. Maybe they would, but it will be at the moment after Rena graduated. That will take quite some time.

Of course Rena knew her account too. She's one of a few persons who knew firsthand any news about her (through mails and phone calls). Nonetheless, their fans mentioned their accounts and giving news about each other accounts. Airi and Rena read those mentions, with a slight smile on their face.

They read each other tweets. But not following each other accounts. They followed it without even following.

And there's the silent understanding.
