AKB48's Oshima Yuko, Kasai Tomomi and SKE48's Matsui Rena formed a special unit called "Sukeban Girls" to promo a new pachinko game.The girls recorded two original songs and PVs to be used in the game: "Tsupparu Riyuu" that will be used during normal gameplay and "Tomo yo Yoake ni Machiawaseyou", song that will only be used when the player reaches a special part in the game. Whether the songs and pvs will be released or not is still yet to be decided.

Yuko Oshima, Tomomi Kasai and Rena Matsui have formed a unit for a new pachinko game. They will be called Sukeban Girls and apparently will have a big role in the concept of this new pachinko game.
As well as appearing in the game ‘Bikkuri Pachinko Sukeban Deka’, there will also be 2 special music PV’s. The first song ‘Tsupparu Riyuu’ will come up during normal gameplay but the second song ‘Tomo yo Yoake ni Machiawaseyo’ can only be viewed if the pachinko player meets certain conditions. Naturally all 3 girls will appear if you’ve won the jackpot. The main member and the one who gets more screen time in the game is Yuko. If you do manage to win something you can exchange the pachinko balls for some exclusive ‘Sukeban Girls’ special items. I’m not really sure if ‘Sukeban Girls’ will release any songs in the future or not?
I think these 3 would perhaps be fantastic in a new Sukeban Deka movie. We all know how badass Rena was as Gekikara. She’d be even more lethal with a razor sharp yo-yo in her hand!

Kasai and Rena in one unit like a dream. It's the Japan Expo all over again.
Sadly, I'm not into the whole 'bad-ass' theme and I'm not really digging the artwork/outfits I've seen so far.
However! The website (http://www.kyoraku.co.jp/product_site/2011/sukebandeka/#/top) has a clip of one of their songs and I quite like it. Almost a bit Natto Angels/80s superhero theme song-esque, but with cheesy guitars :lol: What more could you want. I really hope this will get a proper release.

I got all excited when I read this... and then kinda dissapointed when I saw that it was just for Pachinko promotion :lol: I'm guessing this will be a one off kind of thing. Shame really as it would have been kinda cool to see those 3 girls together in a unit.
