"Kai!" Acchan walked towards Kai who was playing basketball.
"Ah! Acchan,what are you doing here?"
"I just want to watch you playing basketball as usual."

Acchan POV
Hi,my name is Atsuko Maeda.My friends always calling me Acchan.The guy who was playing basketball is my boyfriend.Nah,just kidding. His name is Kai Takahashi and his my best friend.We're best friends since we're kids.His my first love.I fell in love with him when I saw him for the first time.When I was kid,I always get bullied at the kindergarten until there's one handsome boy who protected me from those kids.At that time,he stole my heart. We always hangout together and I love it. I want to tell him what I felt about him but I'm too scared that he'll reject me.I kept my feelings towards him until now.For me, being with him all the time is enough to make me happy.

"Here.Drink this."Acchan handed Kai a bottle of mineral water.Kai then took it and drank it.
"Thanks."
At that night,Acchan looked at Kai's pictures in her room as usual.
"Hmm.....I wonder what he'll give me as a present tomorrow? I hope he'll remember that tomorrow is my birthday." Acchan kissed Kai's picture.
The next day,Kai didn't even said "Happy Birthday" to Acchan.
"Kai,let's go home together."
"Ah! I'm sorry! I gotta go now!"
"Eehh......Did I done something wrong to him? Or....He already has girlfriend? Impossible. He'll tell me if he has girlfriend. But what if he really has? Who's more important? Me or his girlfriend? Aish..... But couldn't he at least say 'Hey,Acchan! It's your birthday. Happy Birthday!' ?"
That night,Acchan was sad that Kai forgot about her birthday. Seems like she has to celebrate alone since her parents were now at oversea.She sighed heavily.Suddenly, she heard some voice outside her house. When she opened the door,she was shocked and happy to see Kai was plucking his guitar while singing a song for Acchan.
"K-Kai......?"
"Happy birthday,Acchan."
"I thought you forgot about it."
"What? How can I forgot? We always celebrate it every year,right? Oh,yeah. I'm sorry that I couldn't bought you a cake because I had no money since I bought you this." Kai gave Acchan a beautiful bracelet.
"Kai......You.....It looks expensive...."
"Aww...I'll do anything for you,birthday girl.Now,come on."Kai hold Acchan's hand.
"Where were we going?"
"It's a surprise,my birthday girl.But you gonna like it."Kai smiled and pulled Acchan's hand.Kai bought Acchan ice skating.
"W-Wait....Kai....I didn't know how to-...."
"I'll teach you."
"But...."
"Believe me.You're gonna like it."
Kai then thought Acchan how to ice skating. It was the best moment in their life. They're holding hands when they're ice skating and that made Acchan more happy. She feels like she's the luckiest girl in the world. After spending their time together,Kai brought Acchan home since they're tired.
"Kai.....Can I ask you a favor....?"
"What is it?"
"K-Kiss me....." Kai's eyes widened when he heard that.
"I-It's okay if you don't want to...Goodnight." Acchan hold the door knob to enter her house but Kai pulled Acchan's hand and placed his lips on Acchan's soft lips.
"Like I said.I'll do anything for you."Kai smiled.
"Goodnight,birthday girl." Kai walked away. When Acchan entered her house,she jumped joyfully.
"Yay! He kissed me! He really likes me!" Acchan was very happy.
The next day,Acchan went to Kai's house to hangout with him.
"Hmmm....What should I do when I saw him? Greet him? Kiss him on his cheek? Kiss on his lips?"Acchan scratched her head. When she arrived at Kai's house, she's weird when she saw there's no shoes in front of the door like usual. The house looks like there's no owner.
"That's weird."Acchan decided to enter the house and when she entered,she was shocked when she the house was empty.
"Wait.....Is this a dream....?"Acchan pinched her cheeks.Suddenly she saw a note on the floor."
Dear Acchan,
when you read this note, it means that I'd move to US. I had to follow my father who just got work there.I'm very sorry for not telling you about this. I just don't want you to be sad because I don't want to see you sad. I love to see you smiling like always.It makes me calm.I'll never forgot our moments especially the kiss that we shared last night.It was perfect and I felt like I'm the happiest guy in the world.I just want you to know that..... I'll love you forever. And I already fell in love with you when I protected you when we're kids. Remember,always smile.
Acchan cried when she read that.
"Kai.....How could you did this to me......?"
Since that day,Acchan never smiled.She knew that Kai wants her to always smile but she can't.
A Year later.....
It's Acchan's birthday and Acchan still waiting for Kai at the place where they ice skating together.She looked at her watch and it was 11:30 p.m.She thinks that Kai will not appear.She sighed heavily.She stood up to walked away.
"Where are you going,birthday girl?"
"Eehh.....The voice sounds very familiar....."Acchan said.
Then,Kai appear in front of her.
"Kai...?What are you doing here?"
"Good news for you.I moved back here."Kai smiled.
Acchan then slapped Kai.
"Ouch!"
"That for making me cry everyday!" Acchan slapped Kai again.
"That for leaving me!"
"What? I....." Acchan kissed Kai.
"That for making me smile again."Acchan smiled.
"You.....Okay,since it's your birthday,I'm not gonna take my revenge.But I'll punish you later."
"Okay."Acchan smiled again.
"Come on.We have half an hour before your birthday ends."
"Before that...."Acchan kissed Kai again.
"And what was that for?"Kai asked.
"It's because I love you." They smiled.
