SM’s Two New Groups will Debut on the Same Day and Time with the Same Song in Korea and China!
The First Teaser Video will be Released on the 23rd at 00:00 a.m.!
S.M.ENTERTAINMENT announced the debut of the new groups on its official website.
On December 22nd at 00:00 a.m., SM official website (www.smtown.com (http://www.smtown.com)) put a pop-up with the logo for the new group and the timer, therefore, it has been drawing the attention from music fans.
The timer is set for 24 hours and people are waiting for the contents, which will be released on the 23rd at 00:00 a.m.
SM’s new group will be two male groups and they will debut on the same day and time with the same song in Korea and China. Since it’s something that has never been tried before, it will be good enough to capture the attention of fans not only in Korea and China but all over the world.
The teaser video of the new group will be released through SM official website (www.smtown.com (http://www.smtown.com)), YouTube SMTOWN channel (www.youtube.com/smtown (http://www.youtube.com/smtown)) and facebook SMTOWN page (www.facebook.com/smtown (http://www.facebook.com/smtown)) on the 23rd at 00:00 a.m. and the members’ images and videos will sequentially be released.
Meanwhile, since SM’s new group has already been receiving a great attention, it is predicted that they will become a hot issue in the music industry of 2012.

S.M.ENTERTAINMENT released the teaser video with the name of two new groups.
The new groups are EXO-K and EXO-M and their logos were unveiled on SM official website (www.smtown.com (http://www.smtown.com)) on the 22nd. They will make a debut on the same day and time with the same song in Korea and China.
The name ‘EXO’ came from ‘EXOPLANET’ and indicates that they are the new star came from the unknown world and the letter ‘K’ and ‘M’ stand for KOREA and MANDARIN respectively. The group has ambition to captivate the entire world with EXO’s music starting from Korea and China.
Moreover, on the 23rd at 00:00 a.m., the first teaser video was released worldwide through the official website (http://exo-k.smtown.com (http://exo-k.smtown.com), http://exo-m.smtown.com (http://exo-m.smtown.com)), YouTube channels (www.youtube.com/exok (http://www.youtube.com/exok), www.youtube.com/exom (http://www.youtube.com/exom)), facebook pages (www.facebook.com/exok (http://www.facebook.com/exok), www.facebook.com/exom (http://www.facebook.com/exom)), NAVER and China’s WEIBO, SINA, SOHU and YOUKU and has been receiving an enthusiastic response.
The first unveiled member ‘KAI’ is 17-year old boy who stands at 182cm and is known for his outstanding dance skills in all genres including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, poppin and lockin.
Meanwhile, since SM has not released any details of EXO-K and EXO-M and uses new method to reveal the members, the curiosity and expectation for EXO-K and EXO-M are predicted to increase.

I think Kai is supposed to be the best dancer. Don't know why they put him in this boy's introduction vid since he outdances him.
From what I heard about him, Lu Han is Chinese, a 90er and became an SM trainee in '09.

The 2011 SBS Korean Music Festival will be held on December 29th at 8:50 PM KST. This will be the first end of the year show, since KBS will hold their music festival on December 30th, and the 2011 MBC Korean Music Festival will air on December 31st.
Fans' anticipation for the show is already at an incredibly high level, and to heighten fans' anticipation even more, SBS released a statement this morning giving more insight into one of the special stages. The line-up for this year's show already includes TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, BEAST, Wonder Girls, KARA, CNBLUE, T-ara, IU, Lee Seunggi, Kim Hyunjoong, 4minute, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls, Davichi, Teen Top, G.NA, U-Kiss, Infinite, Dal Shabet, and A Pink, as well as a number of special collaboration stages.
SBS stated that the revealed members of SM Entertainment's upcoming boy groups, EXO-M and EXO-K, would be making a surprise appearance at tonight's show. KAI, LUHAN, TAO, and the fourth member, CHEN, will be performing in a special stage with their fellow SM Entertainment artists.
This will be the members' first public performance. This will be the first time that CHEN's outstanding singing skills will be revealed to the public. CHEN is 19 years old and will be the lead vocalist.
The rest of the members have yet to be revealed and the public's anticipation for the group continues to grow. Stay tuned for Koreaboo's coverage of the 2011 SBS Korean Music Festival tonight!

The first thing I thought is that Lu Han looks like the boy version of Son Dambi. I prefer the female version :P Tao looks like some actor from a Chinese film I've watched. He's totally got the Chinese gangster look about him with those eyes.

I'm getting bored here. There are supposed to be like a dozen members in EXO, why the heck did they only release teasers featuring Kai? We've seen a bit of Chen but there's still no teaser or info on him yet and the rest of the members remain nameless and faceless! They're supposed to debut at MuBank this week and we got nothing but Kai.

Real name Zhang Yi Xing, 91er, danced as Jonghyun in SHINee's concert when that guy hurt his ankle because he wore way too many insoles, I think he's a pretty good singer too but not sure.

Their debuts this week on the music shows were okay. When they performed History on Music Bank, you could tell they were pretty nervous, but it was still a pretty admirable debut stage for a rookie group.

History is catchy, while mama sounds like a decent throwback to the old SME style. instantly reminded of DBSK's Free Your Mind, triangle, O, and to a certain extent Shinhwa's TOP. i'm just glad they dont look like shinee...
