I was thinking Thursday or Friday myself, especially if there's going to be several peeps coming early as well for some shenanigans.  So excited.  I'd classify myself as a *maybe* for now while I get the finances planned out but my intent is to do whatever I can to get myself there.  I'm pretty confident that I can make it~

I heard the SM Town has a strained relationship right now with KMF people because they wanted SNSD or SHINee to be the closing act 2 years ago, but they gave it to SS501, so they're upset over that. Apparently, they didn't even stay for the final group number... SO I don't think they'll come :/

On to something else about KMF, I just reserved my room at the Sheraton, so if people want to room there let me know. (As usual, I only room with people I know. Sorry~)

I booked club... since that's usually where the celebrity's are XD I noticed the pricing was different for you though, and then I realized I put 4 adults to a room, and you have 2. Someone in the KMF FB page had shown this newspaper ad (http://www.flickr.com/photos/28197935@N03/6886240828/#) for the concert, in which there are three blank boxes, so people were wondering if there's 3 more artists to be added or maybe it doesn't mean anything. I hope the three boxes aren't just for the three G.O.D. members and that's the full lineup XD  I can see that this is a pretty cool lineup for koreans of all generations, but whatever, I'm still expecting a "cooler" show for the 10th anniversary of KMF   8)

I'm really disgusted at how the KMF people manage everything. I don't care what reasons they have, to me it's inexcusable to ignore the concerns of your CLIENTS (coz remember they're not doing anyone a favor, this is not a free concert), and keep posting random videos of previous years without addressing anyone. It is plain disrespectful. And there's little over 2 weeks left before the concert. If they don't have all their performers planned by now, that's just a ridiculous mess. I'm just happy that I'm mainly traveling there to meet up with the hipsters, coz if I was just going for the concert, I'd be soooo pissed lol

Anyway, since they feel no need to address the clients anymore, they've just been posting the new additions to the lineup in the website banner. After G.O.D., now they have added two acts that I'd never heard about, Arirang and Lee Yong:

Lots of us have also heard the name Arirang often because it's the name of the famous international network in Korea, Arirang TV.

A couple of people commenting on the KMF Facebook page and Soompi said that Arirang is somewhat known in China and Japan. If that's the case, it's SO weird XDDD  a young KOREAN group known elsewhere but not in KOREA. Funny.

Anyone knows about Lee Yong? He looks like a comedian rather than a singer O_o

Apparently the actual name is Arirang Group, and they're this chinese pop act, made up of 4 korean guys (apparently now 3, judging by the KMF picture?). They don't seem to have released much music O_o But according to wiki theyre popular "among the Chinese young as well as among the Korean Chinese".

I found their picture and the guys look the same to me as those in the KMF pic:

Hahaha I keep hoping for a last minute miracle XD  Like, everyone says someone like Big Bang can't go coz they're promoting or gonna tour, etc. But then I just saw news of them suddenly going to Vietnam for some "Coca Cola Sound Fest". So come on! If they can go there for that, why not to Cali for KMF!? Well, I guess Coca Cola would have way more money to pay, and it does take longer to travel to California. But still, that kind of randomness makes me hope for another cool group to join the lineup suddenly  :tama-yeeaah:

At this point, I doubt I'm gonna go to the actual show lol. Probably just roll out and hang with everyone at the festival part (plus FREE GOLD!) and once you guys go in to the actual seats, just go chill in LA--eat drink be merry--until y'all done. Cus this show is not worth it, at all. Last year was barely worth my $35 nosebleed ticket, and that had acts I actually wanted to see lol. KMF is more about the sweet sweet hanging for me.

So, its 5am now and first night of stalking is done.  We JUST missed ga-in and Jea, according to the girls we were hanging out with, but we saw Seungho from Mblaq and some got autographs.  Kim Tae Woo and Danny came through and were really cool. They signed autographs and gave hugs to the girls.  Miryo zoomed past us too but didn't stick around for much of anything.  We'll be continuing tomorrow so I need to sleep before I pass out.

Double post time lol. Day two was pretty epic.  A late and slow start led to some great timing. Dai, Rei, and I were hungry waiting for boyten to show up, so after Odango got here we went up to the club room for snacks. We took the elevator down to the lobby, and when it opened up, G.O and Mir from MBLAQ stepped in and we all silently decided we needed to go back up to our room lol.  They were being crowded by other fans in the elevator so we didn't score an autograph.  We went back down to the lobby, stepped out, and Seung Ho from MBLAQ was coming up to us.  He's Rei-chan's favorite, so she was super excited. We went back in the elevator again and rode up with him and the girls got his autograph.

Boyten and limit eventually showed up and we hopped on the train to Korea Town to score some Korean fried chicken and hit up the CD store to splurge on kpop CDs.  After that we went to an awesome ramen place to meet up with Fen and have more food and drinks.

We got back to the hotel tired and tipsy.  With just Odango, rei, daigong and me left we decided to hit up Rite Aid to get sharpies and snacks.  Dai and I were looking at booze when I saw a familier short black haircut turn down our aisle.  Ga-in was shopping at Rite Aid! In the booze section! Dai and I politely asked for an autograph, and she was happy to do so. She was shy because she wasn't wearing much makeup. Daigong did the abracadabra dance and ga-in laughed and smiled. Jea was also shopping and we bugged her too, but Odango and Rei said that after talking with us they were really happy. 

Lots of great timing today with celebs,  and tomorrow is the day of the concert.  I'll fill in more details when I'm at a computer but for now I must sleep

The first days I was somewhat disappointed because we had seen Ga-in and Miryo in the hotel and they were super serious and didn't even look at fans, just completely ignored us. But holy carp! When we saw Ga-in and Jea at the Rite-Aid, all of that disappointment vanished XD  Ga-in was particularly nice and awesome, all smiley, giving us their autographs and taking THREE pics with Dai! She laughed when Dai did the Abracadabra dance for her~ Awww!! What an awesome lucky moment that was!  :luvluv1:

Afterwards when Jea was waiting for Ga-in by the cashier, the guys got her autograph too. Odango and I were in line after Ga-in to pay for our goodies we bought for MBLAQ presents. Funny thing was when the guys left with Jea's autograph, she was talking to her stylist and smiling looking at Daigong and Flyp and even pointed at them. My impression was she thought they were adorable unusual fans or something. At the hotel, the vast majority of fans were just young screaming girls that acted like savage hyenas, but here come the guys all charming and respectful yet funny~ I think Jea was charmed  :heart:

OMG!!! Found fancams of me giving Lee Joon my present for Seungho!!!  I hadn't been able to get to Seungho after Odango and I made our present bags for him and Mir, so when we saw Joon arrive after KMF, we saw our chance. I went to Joon before all the fans (you can see in the video I was closest to him, handing him a red present bag). Manager was protecting him, so I told Joon "Seungho sunmul!" and he was said "ah sunmul, sunmul!" and took my bag and smiled so beautiful!!! He's so nice and handsome in real life.  :wub:

OH MAN and the MBLAQ fangirls were so good, nailed it down to what room based on "Hey, I'm watching my TV" tweet oh :bow:

THE CONCERT!! Like fuck, the line up allegedly wasn't STAR POWERED as expected but the artists surely put on a show. Love&Peace were 80s rockers James Brown styled through sets ROLLING ON THE RIVER, their guitarist rocked the fuck out - saw him afterwards and gave him props. Kim Kyung Ho TORE it up with some rockin hair metal LOL B.E.G. dropped their set - 4 songs and FUCK! charged the place up, 6th Sense some other songs lol and of course Abracadabra, Gain in her tight crotch pants DELICIOUS me and Flyp sang it word for word!! Buga Kingz and MBLAQ was dope, gotta give it up to boybands and their dance moves GIVE IT TO MY Y and G.O.D. RAISED THE ROOF like literally with the rap cliches but each dude went through their sets Kim Tae Woo sure belted it and Danny got some dope rhymes - the ending was aight, I think I cheered more for the fireworks XD and the old dudes were giving me props, GOTTA BRING DAT A GAME ENERGY. It was fuckin hilarious when they showed limit on the big screen bored.

The concert was pretty damn awesome.  But I gotta say that The Korea Times did a pretty bad job organizing it...  We had the garden box seat in the back of the section, dead center.   The Korea Times decided to set up a big camera right behind that box, and told us we weren't allowed to stand up.  At all.  I got yelled at for trying to get into my seat because "I was in the damned shot!"  I didn't spend $800+ to sit down during the concert.  Thankfully Odango took charge and complained to the Hollywood Bowl staff and they moved us over to another box that was unsold (so much for the "sold out" show) so we were able to fully enjoy the show.  If they wanted to set up a camera there and have a clear line of sight, they shouldn't have sold those seats.  Pretty dick move I must say.  The poor communication, semi-botched lineup, and that camera incident means it will take a really great lineup for me to want to go to KMF again, to be honest.  Don't get me wrong, I had one of the greatest times ever with all my jphip friends, but if there's gonna be a jphip meetup for a kpop concert, I'd rather do something like SMTown or YG Family or something else like that.

Post-concert drunken webcast shenanigans was so much fun though.  Taking over that club room til businessmen in suits came in for their breakfast was awesome.  It was great to properly meet and hang out with Limit and Dinny too.   Limit, sorry I was unable to recognize that picture of Boram on your phone.  In my defense I had slept 7 hours in the last 6 days, was still a bit drunk, and she didn't look particularly "Boram-ish" in that picture.  I'll strive to be a better T-ara fan lol

OHLMFAO the PR shirt. I told you the story? the airport guy told me to cover up (my nipples? pit hair? XD) and the screener guy asked if I came from PR or smth. THANKS again for the shirt :heart: me and KT should wear em together BROLUV
