Well, after my amazing easily-distracted calculations, Rinapuu had NO SOLO LINES in this song, and had 7 solo shots in the MV! (None of them memorable...)

I suppose the hard life of being a puppy is that sometimes you are so small that people don't even notice you.

Including your producer.

I think Rinapuppy needs to become naughtier. We know her charm point is her :D but gurl you need more than that! It's a cruel world out there so get ready to chew and terrorize.

Meimi continues being ridiculously adorable, & Take-chan had a lot of cute expressions in the video >_<

Kanyon & DAWA were of course bosses, as usual.

Kananan is also cute and cracky.

Don't really like them stripping at the beginning of the MV, it's too fanservice-y to my tastes.

Based on Edgic at Survivor Sucks forum, except modified for idol PVs instead of a reality TV show. :thumbup

Possible ratings:
INV - 'invisible'
UTR - 'under the radar'
MOR - 'middle of the road'
CE - 'complimentary edit' (at Sucks this is 'complex personality' which doesn't quite fit idol MVs)
OTT - 'over-the-top' (this could probably be changed to something else, but it basically means the lead)

Also ranking visibility 1-5.

DAWA
Solo shots: 10
Solo lines: 3
Has the long opening shot all to herself, is in a central dance position and often focused on in dance scenes.
However, has fewer solo lines than other members. She is the leader, but not necessarily the lead.
-> CE4

KANYON
Solo shots: 11
Solo lines: 6/8 (2 of her lines are single words like "Yeah!")
Central dancing position, often in the front in group scenes.
Has the most solo shots and the most solo lines and is even given those one word lines that could go to anyone; this makes her the lead.
-> OTT1

MEIMEI
Solo shots: 8
Solo lines: 4
Central dancing position, is the first member to be focused on after Dawa's opening shot and before the dancing begins.
However, she doesn't receive that many solo shots; Dawa has two more solo shots even if she has one fewer solo line.
-> I would give her edit MOR5 or CE1, slightly preferring MOR5 because the low number of her solo shots was surprising.

TAKECHAN
Solo shots: 9
Solo lines: 5
Central dancing position, the first member to receive a solo shot after leader Dawa.
What sets Takechan's solo shots apart from Meimei's is that at least one of her solo lines had a very complex edit - she had several scenes during one solo line, including the memorable stick figure scene. I only counted each solo line as one solo shot for all the members: if this was changed, her number would be higher (as would Kanyon's).
Very high visibility and 2nd most lines.
-> CE5

KANANAN
Solo shots: 6
Solo lines: 0
The fewest number of solo shots and no solo lines. However, during one of her solo shots she had a gorilla on her head, which is known among fans to be "her thing", which shows she was given just a bit of special edit.
-> UTR3

RINAPUU
Solo shots: 7
Solo lines: 0
Had one more solo shot than Kananan, but no special attention.
-> UTR1

In sum, Kanyon has the biggest visibility in the PV followed by Takechan and Dawa, Meimei is the next back-up and Kananan and Rinapuu bring the rear.

I'm not sure a H!P PV can quite hit INV because normally the editors at least try to give each member a little something, but who knows, this was my first one.

There's not a huge POINT in doing this, it's just fun and shows which members are receiving a push in each single in a wee bit more technical way than "she hogs all the lines!!1"
I feel that it's most beneficial to do this to a group with new members, to predict the future, see who's who etc. Although if someone was interested in seeing, for instance, how Chisato's position in C-ute has changed over the years, this might be a way to do that.

Also if there are other places that have done this before, I have no idea because I don't go to other places. :lol:
