Title: Arizona man arrested after rescuing and adopting drowning raccoon

When 57-year-old Stan Morris saw a raccoon drowning in the Colorado River, he decided to put his own health at risk by saving the struggling animal. commit crimes -> rescue drowning raccoon -> adopt raccoon -> media attention -> cops figure out you should be in jail.

That is such a heart breaker.   I'm all for saving animals, and the man should be rewarded for it!

Wow I learned something new today.
Next time I see a raccoon, I'll just let it drown to death.
