HALF of all women make their minds up within 30 seconds of meeting a man about whether he is potential boyfriend material, according to a study on speed-dating. (http://news.scotsman.com/scitech.cfm?id=567952006)
That sucks ass.

That does sound pretty bad, but consider that it's based on speed-dating. Isn't the whole point of speed-dating to make a decision on how good the match is within a very short period of time? I think you only get about 5-8 minutes with each match at one of those speed-dating events, so you have to decide fast. I think this biases the general results. Extrapolating from decisions made on a 5 minute speed-date to decisions made on a 2-3 hour normal date probabaly isn't the most accurate thing to do.
