SKE48 Haru con 2012 "SKE Senyou Gekijou wa Aki made ni dekiru no ka?"
When: 2012-04-14 / 2012-04-15
Where: Nippon Gaishi Hall, Nagoya.
It feels like it's been a while since we had a proper SKE48 solo concert. Looking forward to the KII3 stage songs, because other than listening to the album and watching the shonichi performance I haven't seen it all that much. I assume Team E has improved a lot too over the past months, so that's cool too.
Chances are high we are getting some announcements as well! Don't you all just love big announcements? :lol:

Any hopes and/or predictions?

It's now or never for Kaotan and Imade, but I think even more for Mikotti, Makiko, Momo and Iguchi. If they can't get back their membership status now, then the future might be looking bleak for them. :(

In hind sight, KKS promotions have always been done in the theater. So I guess they're going to keep up that tradition and announce it some time later?
But still, a big concert like and there are no major announcements...? I mean, come on! There had to be... wait, wait, wait... Oh, I get it. Way to psych us, Aki-P! :smhid
I'm also still miffed that there was no mention about a possible new theater even with that kind of concert title.

Is there something wrong with no announcements? You guys seem to forget the last major SKE-related one. Be careful what you wish for :V

It's basically a Pavlovian response now. :lol: Our minds have been conditioned that every major concert ends with a big/shocking announcement (even though it only seems to happen with AKB concerts and not SKE).
I blame Aki-P and his skills in playing mind games.

Finally saw the actual concert...
Day 1:
- This setlist as such is very boring. It's nothing we haven't seen before and not really memorable.
- SKE48 without Jurina feels incomplete. I didn't think it would matter that much, since I liked SKE48's performance at Budokan when J was absent, but in this case I definitely missed her.
- The upside of no Jurina is that Takada Shiori got a LOT of screen time. That's great because I don't get to see her anywhere else and she's still one of my top favorites.
Day 2:
- A zillion times more interesting than day one. Great setlist. I reminded me again that KII3 is awesome.
- Kuumin was awesome throughout this concert. Imagine the pressure when she did that sax solo. Big smile when it was over, haha.
- Why isn't Airin a superstar?!?! Epic, epic voice. Manazashi Sayonara blew me away.
- Akarin confirmed for SKE super ace in case W Matsui ever disappear.
- I can see Akane becoming SKE's Takamina.
- Rena and Hata doing Okami to Pride... Nice experiment, but let's not do that again. Ever. lol
- Hohoemi no Positive Thinking has an epic a cappella Rena solo line.
So yeah, if you're pressed for time then I'd recommend watching Day 2.
Bonus points for: KII (all of them), Kumi, Airi and Akari :thumbup
