And they will be an opening act in MM concert at Saitama Super Arena on May 6th & 7th.

So maybe they'll debut soon in May or June and it'll be announced at the SSA?
This might spice things up for me a bit, but I'm not sure if they're ready. Maybe it's because I still have problem with Chisato, Mai and Nakajima being in the group. :/

I agree about the little ones, though. I just think there's too much variation in the group (someone like Erika and someone like Nakajima in the same group? It's just weird). Even if the Berryz have age and height difference too, they all look good together. With C-ute, I'm not too sure about it. OR maybe it's because I can't help but think with the current line-up C-ute would be just 'the members who weren't picked for Berryz', so it'd feel like a left-over group instead of a group worth battling Berryz. Agh I guess that doesn't make any sense.

ºC-ute had two original songs performed at concerts but never released. Now, a third song sees the light in the new Nintendo DS' game Densetsu no Staffi 4 commercial. It can be listened in the official page. At the end of the CM, the most recent picture of ºC-ute is shown. Some people say that this third original song from the group might be the debut single. Who knows, who knows...

No idea, T. I think it won't be Wakkyanai, coz if it was, they'd just say the title on that site. I don't think it's Starfie song either, even though we still don't know about the title. I just don't think it's good enough to be a single. Or even a coupling track. Hopefully it'll be a brand new song and Wakyanai can be the c/w or something.
As for the differences in the group... Look at Umeda, Maimi and Megumi. They don't look like little kids anymore. They even look more mature than Berryz. And Umeda is turning 15 this year. And look at Chisato, Mai and Nakajima. They look like 5 year-olds. The difference is too visible and I'm afraid that with the latter three's image, the group will stuck singing kiddy songs for gawd knows how long.

That's great, Wakyannai was pretty impressive so a new song sounds good. I agree about the kiddies. At least Berryz had, and has, an age difference of +/-1.
Though, I must say the °C-ute members have really good chemistry.

Yay! But as someone has said before (I think), they've performed the opening act to Morning Musume before (and even v-u-den). Heck, even the concert that was recorded for their previous tour was the one they opened, but it wasn't on the DVD :(
So, basically, I don't know what to say about their debut (if it's coming soon or not). I'd be SUPER happy, if it did, though. The group contains some awesome personalities (Chisamai, mainly). The main thing that bugs me about their performances, though, is Airi's facial expressions (She looks like she's about to wet herself in fright!), and the height difference thing they do with ALL the groups (Yurina/Saki, Kaori/Yagu, and now Erika/Mai).

May be tsunku just want to promoted them.Instead of release Wakkyanai(Z) as a debut single....IMO
Anyway I think the height difference is not so bad then they have a good potential (Airi+Megumi as a best H!P kids singer IMO) that's why they difference from Berryz.
So If they will release soon I'd be Extremely Happy so much !! ha ha :)

wakyanai z is a good song i can see it as their debut, but like tama said, if it were they could just say that on the site instead of "debut song". hopefully the new song, it is new, will be as good wakyanai z or better.

I'm actually one who doesn't think Megumi (And Airi sometimes) are the best HPK... Miyabi is definitely the top HPK, now, imo! I don't know who'd be next, but I think I'd pick someone else before Airi xD She was definitely better a year+ ago... :( But I will admit Airi and Erika rocked their HPK auditions WAAY better than a lot of the girls. Maimi has had the biggest voice change <3

For singing, I think Airi is better, but not performing. Airi still looks like she has some stage fright, but Miyabi-sama always looks cool and calm (yes, I call her Miyabi-sama now :p ). But she has much more experience, so we'll see.

Well it depends on what your "ranking" is based on :o
If it's singing, then yeah, Airi is strong.
If it's personality, a camerawhore like Momoko is strong.
If it's charisma on stage, well, I count Miyabi's coolness to this category.
If it's looks/cuteness, it could be anyone.
Or if it's all-round talent, I'd say Megumi is strong (singing, dancing, acting [Takaramono], maturity for her age etc.). Or as you said Miyabi, since she is the best live singer in Berryz imo, has charisma and personality and all that.
But I don't think there's such a thing as "the best HPK", there's only "my favourite HPK".
Though I agree with you about Airi. I wouldn't rank her very high, because besides singing she is weak as an idol compared to other members (when it comes to cuteness, personality etc. there are several other girls who beat her in my opinion).

It feels like UFA is taking a lesson from Johnny's here. Develop a new group not in absolute secrecy, give them a few original songs that they don't need to release immediately and have them do a bunch of concerts.
The only problem is that UFA doesn't control a rabid 100,000+ head fanbase anymore like Johnny's does. There were something like half a million spectators in a KAT-TUN concert in 2001 (or 2003?), before *anybody* knew about their existence.
Thus, it probably won't work out too well. It could be refreshing, though, if they were given mature songs (think Tanpopo or early Morning Musume) instead of the lolipop crap that is being put out through Berryz. The age difference between Cute members wouldn't be so jarring then, because it wouldn't all be about the loliness.

Morning Musume had mature songs when Goto was only 13 (although she did look quite mature at that age). If Mai grows up a bit it's not that unthinkable.
And Berryz's songs are lolipop crap? :lol: Their songs are better than everyone else's in H!P now and I wouldn't call a song like Jiriri a lolipop.
Certainly the best songs are being assigned to them because UFA wants to make them popular, but Jiriri is so totally 120% angsty dancey lolipop. Look at the PV. It's got kids in frilly lolicon-enticing costumes looking cute/scared/crying. And the dance routine includes *lol* touching. Anata nashi dewa ikiteikenai and Nanchuu also pretty much fit the bill.
Don't get me wrong, I would *love* to see mature songs performed by anyone, but Jiriri just isn't one.

The Erika line sounds too squeakified to be her, so I think it is Kanna. Especially if you listen to her solo in Wakkyanai (Z) from the Sports Festival and compare

Although I read somewhere that apparently the single will be released to be sold in concerts, and not in stores. That'd suck.
And too bad they aren't releasing Wyakkanai Z with the single, the song is good. Maybe it'll be included in pucchi best 7.

I think he's just asking because he's not fluent in English, and sometimes it's hard for people who aren't to read what you may say. Not saying you have to type any other way or anything like that. :D

Most of the time, we're all pretty good about using proper spelling and grammer. However, there are times when some of us just feel like being a little silly. Just read those posts aloud, they'll usually make more sense when you do. :D

Most of the time, we're all pretty good about using proper spelling and grammer. However, there are times when some of us just feel like being a little silly. Just read those posts aloud, they'll usually make more sense when you do. :D

I usually don't bother reading things if it's all written in txt spk. It's fine to shorten words if you're sending a text message on your phone, but on an internet forum or msn messenger or whatever where you're typing with a proper keyboard it just makes people look like a retard.

I think Kanna will be C-ute's Goto Maki. She's already the lead in a single, sooo~ I wouldn't be surprised if people started noticing them more for this new member that's got Goto Maki ears (in a sense!)
And I may have a way of getting a copy of the single :inlove: But this all depends on how much they're allocating each person to buy and whether or not they'll sell out and such, but :yay: either way!

Seems that Massara sold out at concert(s) on Saturday. A 5 copy limit was also in place, so could be why they sold out... But it's still a good sign for ºC-ute's public debut!

hahahaha I always noticed Kanna's ears, but never realized the Maki-alike factor xD!
It's totally true, though.
And yay for the 'good' sales, in a sense this shows us how would the single sell if in was launched in stores, since actually most of the H!P singles buyers are hardcore fans (the same people that bought them at the concert...)

I think it's no coincidence C-ute is releasing stuff soon after Kanna joined... There must be something special about her!! I personally find her adorable, especially the huge ears, and her voice seems to be pretty cute, too. And I was like "WHOA" when I first saw her dance, her moves were just somehow faster and "sharper" than others. Cool. :o So yeah, she's definitely won my support, LOL!

It's funny how just a bit of difference in vocal skills in the end makes so much difference. I mean, none of these kids are great singers, but Airi, Maimi & Megumi are better than most of Berryz (well, better than everyone but Miyabi?) and you can hear the difference immediately when you compare this song to Berryz. At least I think so! Not trying to diss Berryz, I love them and all, but I always thought C-ute had more potential in singing. BLAH BLAH

Yeah...they have the best singers in H!P Kids, that's their advantage. Although, I haven't heard them sing live, yet.
I'm still not feeling them, though. But it takes time. It took me almost 2 years to become a Berryz fan.
The rivalry between °C-ute and Berryz is gonna be fun. But what's more fun is the rivalry between their fans. :lol:

Its going to be a friendly rivalry between C-ute and Berryz. Tsunku needs to give them good material on a regular basis. Other than Hello Project fans, not many people care about either. Its up to the fans of HP to bump up the sales of this release to make it successful.

Sounds too high pitched (to me) to be her... And I compared that to Kanna's solo in Wakkyanai (Z) from the Sports Festival, and it sounded more like her. But it could turn out to be Erika.. I just don't hear it, at the moment :lol:

Concerning about the rivalry between C-ute and Berryz, I think there is still a long way before such thing happens due to the fact that Berryz has established a big fan base for few years already, as well it seems that still not all members in C-ute are being "accept" (note: not in a "no one likes her" way) enough...
I liked both Wakannai Z and Massara Blue Jeans. Two different style songs! ummm... I'm looking forward to listen different styles of song for C-ute and to see more of the girls' talents being show!

I'm not sure if they were the people who went to the concert. They still had question marks on some parts.
As for the rivalry. It's not gonna be too fierce now for the groups itselves, but it's already started between the fans. It's kinda interesting to me to see that lots of °C-ute fans aren't Berryz fans when people expect them to have the same fans. OTOH, lots of Berryz fans aren't MM fans either.

I totally can't help with color codes, I don't recognize enough their voice for the moment.
For the rivality, I think that a lot of the Berryz fans will listen them and then go on Berryz, °C-ute or the 2 groups.
When I saw the video of °C-ute from Hello!Days DVD I was surprised to see so much people !
It seems that H!P fans waited for their debut.

I don't think it's publicly yet. This one probably will be like Massara, but by releasing like this is actually kinda cool because it's something that hasn't been done before in H!P, and ºC-ute can gradually get better at performing and learning songs and all that jazz.
I would love it if this single would feature Erika and Megukami (just going by the title), but I doubt they'll give a lead to Erika. Megukami is my guess for the Massara-Maimi lead, though :D Hopefully Chisato will have lines this time, too :heart:

I agree. They could have a tour with W, like Berryz did last year...that should be great. It can be weird, too, if some of them get to sing duets with Nono and Aibon since lots of them look more mature than those two. :lol:

The "hip thrusting" is a bit.. too much. It was disturbing to see them do it. The Manpower's hipthrusting looked like choreography that we were just seeing through pervy glasses, but this... even the way they hold their hands when they do the thrusting.. it's wayy too sexual for C-ute to be doing.

Soku Dakishimete was a completely live performance on the 3rd :D While in Massara, you could hear the girls, but the recording was still there :) But yay! Maimi/Megukami/Airi/Erika all broke through the recording, though! You could hear the ending really well, and it was neat to hear the two mainly out of breath hit those notes :D

The song is alright. I still thinking Masara is their best one. To buy their first album, being a Best or just a First, is something that I'll take in consideration because of these three entertaining singles they have released.
So, is this over? I mean.. May-June-July that was all C-ute plans, right? All they announced was this: three months, three singles. What's next, the Best Of? No rumor? No nothing? :D

Whoo! Tsuji's Minnie Mouse hairstyle FINALLY fits someone well! Gooo Saki :heart: They all look awesome, though! The outfits are super, super cute! And I love them all :heart: They shouldn't have overused that HUGE flower, though! Five girls have it, and then the other three have something different... More of the girls need something different. The glasses for Maimai were a super cute idea, and a closer picture of her hairstyle makes it look even better than I thought it looked :o They NEED to do a hairstyle that looks good on Chise, though. In the -6% shots of her, her hair was longer, and they had it in pigtails for them, and it looked really good! She needs something like that. Erika looks the best she has since Iku ZYX, and her hair suits her VERY nicely. Maimi's hair looks a little... dull compared to the rest? It's just down... And they could've done other stuff so no one had the same hairstyle, too :o And they brought back the granny bun/Minnie buns combo... Not that they look bad, but bring back W!!! The hairstylists miss them!!!
And I went to see ºC-ute on the official site (The changing group shots), and I got ºC-ute first time around!!! Yay! Amd does anyone think it's strange we got official pictures this time around? :o

Just heard Ooki na Ai de Motenashite with nice quality/full song, and the song basically has nothing to it, but I guess it's fun? It just bothers me that there's really no verses, and mostly Ooki na... and chorus, but I REALLY like the chorus, so that's good, but the Ooki na...'s get REALLY annoying after a while!! All in all... fun song~

I believe this is fake until there's actually a trustworthy source. :D
However, Erika would already be a better choice than what Tsunku might pick from auditions. 1.) She's already 15,
2.) she has a cute, nice voice (much better than Koharu to begin with),
3.) she has lots of experience already,
4.) she only keeps getting prettier as opposed to looking pretty scary a while ago.
As long as she wasn't the only new member, I would be completely ok with this. :o

I am also leaning towards calling this fake. I think we'd have seen newspaper scans and tv clips if this was really announced. Personally, I think that the HPK should stay in their own groups. Moving them on to Morning Musume is only dimming the future of the HPK groups.

It says lots and lots of things, mostly about the organization of the event. Will somebody go? JP!HP could buy those cds because, someday, they'll be very worth items hard to find anywhere :p
