I like Harunan in chocolate :D/me double-checks teh birthday.
Whoa...Riho looks different. Did she get taller?Maybe a combination of Ayumi being tiny (really, I didn't realize how tiny she is at first) and them wearing more make-up than usual... And yeah, Riho might be getting taller, too.
新生 モーニング娘。 新曲「One・two・Three」を初披露 Girls Award 2012 S/S (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ogGi_VGnrA#ws)Definitely looks like Yasshii hit a growth spurt.
I love the song enough to order it, something I haven't done since Resonant Blue was released 2008. My only complaint are the costumes seem cheap. Not to say they aren't cute, but the quality of the skirts seem sort of lackluster. Not much to quibble about, though if that's all I can come up with

I find it generally amusing how fan opinion all seem to be mortally terrified that the PV is going to suck after approving of the song and the choreography. I guess any experienced fan knows better than to hope for too much from UFA lol. We love the girls but have no faith in the management.Have you forgotten RH's PV is nothing but a white room?
I'll still hope One•Two•Three will have a PV that'll make Do It Now's look like a cheapskate amateur's half-assed effort
Most def. She grew approximately 5cm in one year, 2cm of which happened in one month. That was at the beginning of the year, and Riho has complained on her radio show that people keep telling her she looks bigger every time they see her. And then Deli-kun is like "now that you mention it...", to Riho's horror. It also cracked me me up in the following week's ep cos the first thing Deli said to her was "you look taller again!" and Riho was like "USO!!!" followed by "...really????" XD The poor kid lol.
The height issue has also spawned some interesting debate regarding how at the rate Riho is growing, she might end up being the next Yurina. The wota in general Do Not Approve. XD The general sentiment seems to be that they want Riho to be loli forever. The other opinion being that if she grows too tall, she'll be disqualified as the ace, the role defaulting to Ayumi, who is appropriately tiny. Dis wota and their conspiracy theories lol. Then again, Tsunku seems to like tiny aces if history has any bearing on this, but it could just be a coincidence that the strongest performers were just that small. Although, I feel compelled to point out that Momusu as a group has been tiny in general. I mean, the tallest ever Musume was Junjun, and she didn't even break the 170cm barrier.
Then again, if this song is any indication, Riho is still firmly on track to becoming the future ace lol. Besides, the other kids seem to be growing quickly too, or started off closer to the 160 mark to begin with, so we might actually see for the first time in Musume history where most of the members are over 160cm. Well, in a few years anyway haha.
clearer audio, might be a radio rip
摩天楼ショー (Radio Rip) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQdVbRpwn0w#noexternalembed)Apparently there are already gripes on how it's 50% Reina the other 50% Riho

Anyway, there's still a long way to go to have such awesome MVs like Resonant Blue, Do It NowActually outside of jphip forum there's more dislike for the 1•2•3 MV because of the sparklies, to the point that there are even some preferring the Dance Shot ver.

- Compared to other idols, they have a strong handshake! They actually squeeze your hand quite hard. Very cool, didn't expect that from these tiny precious looking girls.Well the newbs (of course, minus Sayu & Reina if you want) wanna prove that they belong in a 15 year old establishment
The live was epic btw. They definitely got that down. New era MM is looking good. :yep: Sayashi/Fukuchan two top for sure.
HOOOOOOLY SHIT! GUYS!Kinda makes up (at least partially) for that fiasco you had to go through earlier this year, right? :)
~SNIP~
...yet another great day in Tokyo.
I feel cheated that they called it The Matenrou Show and there wasn't a single skyscraper :PIndeed...it seems that we're actually 9 years overdue for a skyscraper...
For once, Momusu, do street-casual.They did already, though it would be nice if they did it again:
I have little tolerance for whining about cheapness, I'd rather talk about what I liked about the dance!
The RR21 move was obvious, but did you notice some of the others?
I saw moves from The Peace, Souda! We're Alive, Kono Chikyuu, Iroppoi Jirettai, 3 2 1 Breakin' Out, and probably several others I can't remember right now.
I watched it a few more times just to see if I could identify some more!
Plus I couldn't keep my eyes off Fukuchan! She was owning the dance as usual!
Seriously, if you're hung up on the set and costumes being the same, you're missing out.
I dunno about you, but when I'm watching Morning Musume, I'm watching Morning Musume.
So lighten up and have some fun!
1位 キム・ヒョンジュン 161,060枚Passing Iroppoi Jirettai, they've already outsold all of their singles since 2004.

The emphasis should be on "was supposed to" ;)I personally think it's still a bit too early to be celebrating a full-fledged return to glory, that we should wait how the next single or two perform as a more solid indicator of success...but considering how certain people (you know who you are), both here and elsewhere, JUST WOULDN'T SHUT UP about Morning Musume being dead in the water with no hope at all as if they want to see H!P crash and burn, I'm totally okay with fans feeling the need to counter-gloat. :P People lined up to see the Titanic sinking, instead they rose up from the ash like a phoenix...
"sinking ships" can revive, you know :D
So instead of "neener neener", shouldn't us fans embrace the possibility of the revival/return of the "1997-2004 Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari" Age of glory :twothumbs

On July 8th, Nakazawa Yuko made a guest appearance at Morning Musume’s release event for their latest single, “One・Two・Three / The Mantenrou Show“.
Wearing a long white dress that hid her pregnant stomach, Nakazawa smiled as the crowd called out, “Yuko!” and “Congratulations!” When asked if her baby (if a girl) would be joining Morning Musume in the future, she answered, “I’ve never thought about it, but if they will be long-lasting, it’s possible.”
Nakazawa expressed, “Lately, I feel the baby moving inside of me. I’m a little uneasy since I will be giving birth at an old age, but I’ve been talking about it with other moms who were in the same situation.“ She also shared, ”Recently, I saw Mikitty’s [Fujimoto Miki] baby at the office. It seemed difficult. When I saw her breast-feeding, I thought that’s how I’m going to be. I’m reassured to have a senpai mama.”
“One・Two・Three / The Mantenrou Show” is Morning Musume’s 50th single, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of their debut. Nakazawa reflected, “I was reckless. 15 years ago, some members that weren’t even born yet!” She continued by telling the members, “In the past, I hated being called mom, but now, I’m almost a mom. Everyone is like a daughter to me, so I am supporting you.”
Nakazawa encouraged the newest leader Michishige Sayumi, saying, “Shige-chan, I think it’s really difficult, but please overcome this pressure. It will be okay! I am cheering you on!” In response, Michishige broke out into tears and hugged Nakazawa.
When asked about being a leader, Nakazawa advised, “I think there were all kinds of leaders, but you don’t have to copy somebody to be a good leader. Hold onto your heart, and do your best with Reina. Don’t cry!” Then she said to the fans, “Also, everyone’s power. Things really change with everyone’s support, so please take care of them!”
