Nogizaka46 to release new single in August

Nogizaka46 will be releasing a new single (title is undecided) on August 22nd.
Fans are highly anticipating their 3rd single, after their 2nd single “Oide Shampoo” topped the Oricon weekly chart.
The Senbatsu member for this new single will be announced on the June 17th episode (00:00am ~ 00:30 am) of Tokyo TV’s ‘Nogizaka tte, Doko?‘. Since the Senbatsu members are always announced in a unique style, fans are wondering what kind of announcement style will be taken for the third single.

Today at Nogizaka46's variety show Nogizaka Katte, Doko they announced the senbatsu for their 3rd single which will be released on 22nd August. Along with the senbatsu announcement, Sakurai Reika was appointed as the captain official as in no longer just a temporary captain. Also the centers for this single is same [Guruguru Curtain], Ikuta, Ikoma and Hoshino.
The senbatsu members are (listed on the basis of their position and name called out)
Ikuta Erika, Ikoma Rina, Hoshino Minami, Sakurai Reika, Nakada Kana, Hashimoto Nanami, Shiraishi Mai, Matsumura Sayuri, Nishino Nanase, Takayama Kazumi, Saito Yuuri, Wakatsuki Yumi, Inoue Sayuri Ichiki Rena, Itou Mariko, Fukagawa Mai

I quite like this song too, & the pv is very well made too! I believe Nogizaka is the official cheer group for Japan's Women's Soccer team, hence the football theme.

Idol group Nogizaka46’s 3rd single “Hashire! Bicycle” (released August 22nd) has sold 187,000 copies in its first week, topping the Oricon weekly charts for September 3rd.
The first week sales for this single have exceeded their previous single “Oide Shampoo” (released in May), which sold 156,000 in its first week. With this, the group has set a new record for themselves since making their debut in February.
For this week’s album ranking, Nogizaka46’s “official rival group” AKB48 claimed first with their latest album “1830m” (released August 15th) for the 2nd week in a row. AKB48 and their related groups have topped the single and album rankings for 12 weeks of the year. However, this is the first time the groups have topped both rankings simultaneously.

This song is probably my favourite song not only of this single, but of all 48/46 single releases this year! Kind of sad this is one of the few songs that end up not getting a pv in Hashire Bicycle. Thanks to Glacia from Stage48, the video was ripped in HD! & I uploaded it!
