Well guys, this is my second fanfiction. I'm really sorry, I just like gender bending and really like Takahashi Minami, she's my oshimen.
And I'm sorry that some parts may be repetitive in my other fic; Is It You?

Be My Girl

Chapter 1
The sun was shining brightly between those barely closed curtains. Feeling the heat on his face, he reluctantly opened his eyes but immediately close them as the sunlight was too bright. Finally adjusting his eyes from the sun’s brightness, he let out a yawn as he slowly stretched his body hearing small cracking noise from his bones. He lazily grabbed his cellphone from the bedside table and opened it. His eyes widen when he saw the time. It was already noon.
“Oh my god, I overslept! I’m going to be late!”
He quickly got out of bed, not even bothered to fix it as he dashed towards the bathroom to wash up.
As he got out of the bathroom, he quickly changed into his baggy jeans, white tank top and black zip-up hoody. He grabbed his cap and sunglasses as he went down the stairs and found now one in the house; obviously they left the house with the time being right now. At the door, he put his shoes, cap and sunglasses on and he grabbed his keys as he went out the door and locked it.
When he got of the condo, he ran as fast as he can to reach his destination. While he was running in a hurry, he suddenly crashed into someone as she was about to fall, he grabbed her hand and pulled her up towards him while wrapping his free arm around her waist to prevent her from falling.
“Are you okay?” He asked as he took out his sunglasses and hooked it on his hoody.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Thank you.” She answered as she slowly pulled away from him and looked at him in the eye.
When he saw the girl’s face, he was stunned from her beauty, with her dark brown shoulder length hair, her beautiful hazel eyes and with a face of an angel. Noticing that his hands were still on her waist, he quickly pulled away from her as he placed his hand behind his neck rubbing it slightly while laughing nervously as a bright pink blush appeared on his cheeks.
“Since you’re not hurt, I have to get going. Bye.” He said as he waved goodbye and left her. ‘She’s really cute.’ He thought to himself while he was running as he remembered the girl’s angelic face and blushed at the images that passed through his mind.
On the other side, the girl was staring at the boy’s retreating back getting further and further and finally disappeared from her sight. “He has really beautiful eyes.” She mumbled to herself while staring at the direction where the boy left, and left her spot.

Finally arriving to his destination, he stopped trying to catch his breath while scanning around the area looking for someone. After a few seconds of searching and finally finding the person he was looking for with her hair tied up in a ponytail and wearing her usual signature sunglasses.
Heading towards the café where the young lady was waiting, he went behind her and gave her a peck on the cheek as he grabbed a seat right in front of her and faced her, even with her sunglasses she didn’t look really happy at all.
“Where were you? I’ve been waiting for more than a half an hour. It’s not good to make a lady wait, you know.” She said with an angry tone in her voice as she takes out her sunglasses and placed it over her head while glaring at him.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to be late. I was really tired last night and I overslept.” He shrugged, not seeming to care since they will be hanging out for the whole day anyway, and besides they see each other almost every day, depending on their schedules.
She stares at him for a couple of seconds and lets out a sigh as she stood up from her seat, paying her bill. The boy also stood up as he took his girlfriend’s hand and intertwine their fingers as they walk away from the café as they go on with their date.
“Don’t ever do that again, I got really worried. ‘Cause I thought you might leave me.” She said while pouting as the boy let out a small chuckle.
“I would never do such thing.” He said giving a comforting smile as she smiled back at him while giving a small squeeze in their entwined fingers.

I myself am working on 4 updates, don't know when I'll be able to post them OTL

Yes, sadly I wasn't able to sleep that night at all....
Lithuania is in Europe, northeast to Germany, above Poland, below Estonia and Latvia... People used to mistaken our country as a part of Russia, as we were under it's ruling some time ago. but now we are an independent country *proud* *fails being proud* I want o be proud, but the goverment in this country makes me dug my own grave OTL
Anyway, I will be patiently waiting for your update!!! *hugs RJay tightly*

@sakura_drop_: Yeah, I'll be doing the challenge. The theme is a bit hard, but I'll do what I can, though I'm not sure if it will be interesting.
I've been trying to do some brainstorming but not a lot of ideas came to my mind. But like I said, I will try my best and post it as soon as I finish writing it.

To everyone: Sorry to have made you wait this long again, I was just really busy with my summer vacation that I didn't have the time to post this. I will do what I can to make it up to you.
So this is chapter 2.

Chapter 2
Rays of sun begun to seep between his thin curtains as it slowly illuminates his room and into his eyes. He turned his face to his other side to avoid the sunlight on his face. Suddenly his cellphone started ringing notifying him that he had received a text message. Groaning from the sudden short ringing, he reluctantly reached for his phone on his bedside table and flipped it open, he checked the time, its only 7:00am and he went to his inbox and started reading the unopened text message.
‘Good Morning~!! I wish I was with you right now making breakfast. I miss you.’
He smiled as he could imagine the perkiness of his girlfriend sending the message to him, but his smile slowly disappeared as he imagined his girlfriend making him breakfast, the thought brought him shivers to his spine as he remembered that one time when she baked him a cake and not only it looked weird with its light blue icing, combined with different kinds of fruits, chocolates, raisins, nuts and sprinkles mixed all together in the center of the cake, it also tasted really terrible, thanks to that he had spend at least three days in his bed with his stomach in pain. In other words his girlfriend is a terrible cook.
Reluctantly, he got off of his bed and stretched his body as he opened widely his curtains feeling the sun’s warmth all over his body. He went to the bathroom, doing the usual routine.
After washing up, he changed in to a grey short sleeve button-up shirt with a white tank top underneath, paired with black skinny jeans. After changing into his clothes, he went down the stairs and on his way to the kitchen he was greeted by his fellow roommate while the other was cooking breakfast.
“Oh, hey Kai, you’re finally awake.”
“Hey Kuu.” Kai greeted back his roommate.
“Good morning guys.” The other greeted both of them while putting their breakfast in front of them.
“Thanks, Riku.” Kai and Kuu thanked their roommate.
Riku, Kuu and Kai are cousins and they were used to be in a three member band called Persona. They were really popular in Japan. Riku was the leader of the group, he’s a gentleman pretty boy in which any girl or even boy would fall for, since a man name Katsuyuki-san; a director executive from sunny music fell for him.
Kuu is a gachapin look-a-like in which anybody would sure to have fun with, he’s the type of guy who wants to have lots of fun. And Kai, the bad boy type of guy that every girl would dream to have as their boyfriend, with his dyed blond hair, fierce looking eyes and his lone wolf aura. Though being shorter than average man height, he’s really strong, and when showing his sensitive side that would make any girl swoon.
These guys were really popular and even made it to the number one spot in Music10 on their second single, but it was really disappointing when Persona had disbanded, no one ever knew the reason why they disbanded or knew where they have disappeared to. Two years after, which is the present, they are now studying in Tokyo University, having a normal life and getting in their choice of career.
Riku was trying his best to become a doctor, he was studying really hard, while Kuu wanted to become a chef in a restaurant and probably open one on his own and make it popular. And Kai wanted to become some sort of engineer; designing and building all kinds of gadgets and such.
Though still being a legendary group in the music industry and still very popular these days, they still have to hide their identities and get private classes in the university, so that not many fans would bother them. Anyways, enough with the explanation and back to reality.
“So Kai… how was your date with Ray?” Kuu asked as he started eating his breakfast.
Yep, Kai is dating the charismatic diva Ray; the number one selling diva in Japan, heck, maybe even the whole world. Though with his small stature, Ray is totally and madly in love with her midget boyfriend, Kai.
“The usual. But this time I got late on my date.” He answered and shrugged at the same time since every time he went on a date with the diva, he would always have the ‘how’s your date?’ and ‘what did you do?’ questions.
“You got late on your date? What happen?” Riku asked as he also ate his own breakfast; and continued. “I’m so sure that Ray got angry at you.”
“Duh. What do you expect? I just overslept and got late, so what. I don’t get why she has to be angry when we actually see each other almost every day.” He answered while he ate his breakfast; while Riku and Kuu were staring at each other.
“Yeah Riku, you know how the diva is, she’s pretty bitchy when she doesn’t get what she wants.” Kuu added and realized the glare that Kai was giving him. “What? I’m just stating the obvious.” He said nervously, and added. “And besides, remember the time when she nearly destroyed Persona two years ago, just so she can work with you in the business.”
How can they forget? No way can they forget something unforgettable such as that. Unfortunately for them, the diva hired a professional photographer and took a couple of pictures of Riku and Katsuyuki-san wherein from an angle, looked like they were kissing each other and published it in every newspaper in Japan. Persona was devastated; everything they worked for to reach where they were went all down the drain. Luckily, they went all the way to the top and knock out the diva to second place in Music10 after restoring the diplomatic relations with wataar the seventh plus the kiss shared between Kai and Ray, two years ago.
“That’s when I got my gay scandal with Katsuyuki-san.” Riku said as he sadly remembered the scandal where his lovable fans thought that he was gay and begun to hate him and Persona.
“Well anyway, what time are we meeting ‘them’?” Kai said as he changed the topic. “It’s been awhile since we last saw them, which is like two years ago.” He added.
“We’ll meet ‘them’ after lunch, since we don’t have classes in the afternoon. And I still have to find my gift.” Riku replied as he took his roommates and his plate and started washing them.
“Same.” Kai and Kuu said in unison as their heads were hanging low staring at their legs.
Just who are ‘them’? Just who are they meeting? Are they their girlfriends and is Kai cheating on Ray? Actually Kai would never do such a thing just like he said on his date with Ray the other day; he’s a really nice guy if you don’t make him mad. So there’s nothing to worry about, so far.
“We should get going now, or else we’ll be late for school.” Riku said as he wiped his hands on a towel.
The three boys left the kitchen and went to their own rooms as grabbed their bags, caps or hoodies, sunglasses and their car keys.
As they finally grabbed what they needed, they went downstairs and gone out of their condo and locked it as they head towards the parking lot where their cars are parked. Their cars’ engines roared to life as they drove towards the university. When they got to university and their cars parked neatly in the parking lot, they got out of their luxurious cars and students were staring at them like they were superstars.
Obviously, they are stars, well, use to be. But they don’t know that and they don’t need to know. In the university, Riku, Kai and Kuu were still popular, not only because they looked like really handsome idols, it’s because they’re in the top of their class and they got a lot of attention from the students, especially the ladies.
And one more thing, nobody knew their names besides their last names.
“After class, let’s meet here and we’ll figure out what we should do first.” Riku said as he closed the door of his car.
Kai and Kuu just nodded their heads in agreement and the three went to their respective classes while thinking what kind of gifts they should buy.

As their classes are finished, they went straight to their cars and started discussing.
“Okay, this is what we’ll do, let’s split up and meet up later.” Kuu said already slipping in inside of his car as he wanted to take as much time to find his gift.
“Let’s buy flowers and a cake first, and then we could split up and meet up in the parking lot of Akihabara Theater.” Kai said as he went inside of his car and on it.
“I’ll go with what Kai was saying.” Riku said as he also went inside of his car and started it.
So they went to a flower shop and bought each a small bouquet of flowers, and went to the bakery and bought a huge chocolate cake which Riku took it since Riku and Kai didn’t trust Kuu taking the cake because he might eat it all by himself.
They parked their cars inside a mall’s parking lot as they stopped by the mall to get their gifts for that someone.
“Okay, let’s split up and if you’re done buying your stuff, you can go to Akihabara Theater straight and meet up in the parking lot.” Riku said and looked at his watch and added. “Let’s meet up at around 2:00pm.” Kai and Kuu nodded their heads in agreement to their cousin as they went in different directions.

@everyone: Sorry for the long delay, didn't mean to make you wait long again. I have yet to finish writing the chapter of 'Is It You?' and it's still not done. I've been really busy and it's sucks since I won't be posting anything until the end of the month because I have to take summer school for French. Please forgive me and don't hate me for this. :kneelbow:
As an apology, I present you the third chapter of this fic, I think it's a bit long... or not... maybe. Well anyway, I hope you will enjoy this chapter.
It's a bit cheesy, I'll say. And it's a bit repetitive too. *sigh* :depressed: so disapointed in myself or I guess not.

Chapter 3
Riku was walking around the mall doing some window shopping while people around him were looking at him stunned at how good-looking he looked. He practically looked like a model with the clothes he’s wearing; black trousers, white dress shirt combine with a purple button-up vest, sleeves slightly rolled up to the elbow, paired with black loafers and don’t forget to complete his look; his sunglasses.
He sighed as he couldn’t find anything that ‘that person’ might like, so he continued to walk further until something caught his eyes. He went in front of the store’s window as he looked at the dress, analyzing it; he went inside the store as he was searching for the salesclerk.
“Welcome. How may I help you, sir?” The salesclerk asked as Riku turned around and took out his sunglasses and hooked it over his button-up vest, showing his glittering eyes that were completely mesmerized by the salesclerk.
“Um… Yes. Can I see that dress in display please?” He asked while the salesclerk was in her own world as she stared at him in awe. “Excuse me…?” Riku said as he came closer to the salesclerk. “Hello…?” He continued as he waved his hand in front of her face.
“Huh? Oh. Sorry about that. What is it that you wanted?” She said as she came back to reality.
“The red dress in display, can I see it?” Riku repeated for the second time.
“Of course, hold on for a second.” Without a reply, the salesclerk went towards the said outfit in display.
‘She’s weird.’ Riku thought as the salesclerk came back with the dress in her hands and handed it to Riku.
When the red dress was handed to him, he took his time to look at it carefully, scanning at every little detail from the silky dress.
“I’ll take it.” Riku said as he handed back the clothing to the salesclerk who nodded as she went behind the counter.
“That will be 15000¥. You want me to wrap it for you?” She asked as Riku prepared his wallet and giving the exact amount of money.
“Yes, please.” He replied while the salesclerk started folding and wrapping the dress and put it inside the shopping bag.
“Is this for your girlfriend?” She asked as she handed the shopping bag to Riku.
“Well, not really. Let’s just say that we’re really close.” He answered back as he took the bag while the salesclerk looked disappointed that he already has a girlfriend…or something like that.
“Thank you for shopping here.” She said as Riku got out of the store, not bothered to look back.
* * * * *
On the other side, Kuu was inside another cake shop picking different types of cakes in the store while the salesclerk was having a hard time keeping up with him.
“I’ll take strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, cupcakes, fruitcake, muffins, tarts…” Kuu kept going on and it seemed that the salesclerk is getting tired and still couldn’t keep up with him, it seemed like he’s buying every cake in the shop, since he already filled up three boxes of cake inside.
“Are you almost done?” The salesclerk asked feeling a bit dizzy.
“Um… Yep. That’s about it.” He finally said happily as he took the three boxes filled with cake and paid for them.
‘Though, he may be a bit annoying, but he’s really cute.’ The clerk thought to herself as she stared at the back of the boy wearing a pair of white shorts and a blue v-neck shirt with his zip-up hoody over it and paired with grey high cut Nikes.

Meanwhile, Kai went in some random stores but end up being desperate for not knowing what to buy, not even having a clue what ‘that person’ wanted since he’s known that person for like, I don’t know…forever. While he was roaming and browsing around the mall, he suddenly bumped into someone and made some of their stuff fall to the ground.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there. Here let me help you.” He said as he bent down to help the person pick up their stuffs. They both stood up at the same time while Kai gave back the stuffs and looked at the person’s face; he was surprise at the recognition of the person’s face while the other was also surprise to see him again.
This person was pretty, and in Kai eyes, she’s really cute and gorgeous. She was wearing mini white shorts, showing her creamy flawless legs, with white converse and a pink top. Thought being shorter than average height for man, he has the same height as the girl.
“Hey, you’re the guy from yesterday.” She said feeling a little happy to see Kai again. “What a coincidence, I never thought that I’ll meet you here, out of all places.” She continued.
Kai was too shock to say anything as he continued to stare at the girl with his mouth slightly agape. But if he didn’t say anything it would feel a bit awkward for the two, so decided to reply back.
“Yeah, what a coincidence.” He said while rubbing the back of his neck. “And I also bump into you twice, now that’s a coincidence.” He continued. ‘Oh my god, am I really that lame?’ He thought to himself, feeling slightly disappointed to himself.
“Maeda Atsuko.” She said as Kai was taken aback by the sudden introduction from the girl and decided to do the same.
“Takahashi Kai” He introduced himself while the girl was looking at him shock.
“KAI?! As in Kai from Persona?!” She squealed at him. “Now that you mention it, you do look like him. Except a bit taller.” She continued feeling really excited.
‘It’s because I grew for about 5 to 7 inches for the last two years.’ He thought to himself. “Nah, I’m not him.” He lied as he said it calmly but in the inside he was nervous that his identity was revealed. “It’s true that I look like him, but I’m not him and I don’t even have blond hair.” He made up some excuses to not be found out and it was true he didn’t have his blond hair anymore, he dyed it back to black, so that no one would notice him. “And what’s weird, I also have the same name as him.” He added laughing nervously while the girl was staring at him looking a little disappointed.
“Well anyway, what brings you here?” She asked showing a cute smile.
“Why? Am I not allowed to be here?” He answered back with another question as he raised his eyebrow and the girl let out a giggle.
“What I meant is, you seem a little down, like you can’t find your puppy or something.” She said as a matter of fact.
“Was that really obvious?” He asked earning a nod from the girl. “Well, the thing is…” Kai started to explain as they start walking side by side. “…I was trying to find a present for a special person for me and I couldn’t find a perfect gift for that person.”
“Your girlfriend?” She asked a little curious.
“No.” He answered directly while the girl frowned at him.
“Then maybe I can help you.” She said as she pulled the boy in a random store, finding the perfect gift.
For a half an hour, they’ve been browsing in so many stores and trying out some stuff, and they’re having so much fun together. In people’s eyes, they looked like a cute young married couple or whatever you try to call them.
They were having so much fun that they didn’t even noticed that they were holding hands and their fingers were intertwined, enjoying each other’s warmth. Suddenly, Kai went inside a jewellery store while slightly dragging the girl with him and finally something caught his eye, it was a necklace with a golden star and a bright shiny pink diamond in the center of the star.
“Atsuko, what do you think of this one?” He asked the girl as he pointed at the precious jewel while the girl started to cling onto his arm where their hands were entwined and gave him a smile.
“It’s really pretty, are you going to take it?” She asked as Kai nodded his head and signalled the salesclerk that he’ll buy it.
“Can you wrap it for me please?” He asked the salesclerk as he prepared his wallet and paid the salesclerk while the girl was still clinging onto his arm.
“Of course.” The salesman replied with smile and started to wrap the gift. He gave the small shopping bag to Kai as they left the store still holding each other’s hand.
Finally, he found a perfect gift; he can finally stop worrying and can finally relax. He looked at his watch checking how much time he had left, its only 1:30pm; he still has 30 minutes left before he could meet up with the guys.
“Hey, you want to get something to eat? I’m getting a little hungry.” Atsuko asked while rubbing her stomach and Kai chuckled as he nodded in agreement feeling also a little hungry.
The both of them were now headed to the food court, hand in hand, again, well am I not surprise. They went one of the fast food restaurants and ordered their food. After ordering their food, they went to a vacant table, seating side by side and started eating. While eating, Atsuko took out her phone and secretly trying to take a picture of Kai, but he noticed it as he turned his head towards her.

With the sound of a click of her phone, the picture came out okay, it was a picture of Kai facing her, looking innocent like he didn’t know what was going on right now and also he was looking at her with his passionate eyes making her blush slightly.
“AH! You’re so cute and handsome.” She squealed as she clinged onto his arm while showing the picture on her phone to Kai. He started pouting as he stared at the taken picture.
“You call that cute? That’s far from being cute.” He said as he blushed in embarrassment while the girl let out a giggle at how adorable he looked right now.
“Hey, I did call you handsome too, you know.” She said as she continued to giggle while Kai was looking away still having a tint of pink on his cheeks.
Kai also took out his phone and now it was his turn to take a picture of Atsuko.
Tchik
Atsuko’s eyes widen as soon as she heard another clicking sound from Kai’s phone. Kai smirked as the photo came out perfectly and he showed it to the girl, it was a picture of Atsuko clinging on his arm, giggling and showing a cute smile at the same time.
“Now this is what I call cute.” He said as he chuckled at the girl’s reaction, she blushed slightly when Kai called her cute.
“Now, let’s take a picture of both of us.” She said excitedly as she gave the phone to Kai as he put it in front of them, the camera facing them and with the sound of a click, the picture came out with both of them smiling with Kai’s arm over Atsuko’s shoulder while the other was holding Atsuko’s phone and his cheek touching the side of Atsuko’s forehead while the girl’s arms were around the young man’s body, looking like they’re a couple.
The girl checked the time on her phone and her eyes went wide for the second time; she was almost late for work. She got up from her seat while Kai was looking at her, confused.
“I’m sorry, I have to go; I’m going to be late for work.” She said apologetically as she pouted slightly while Kai also looked at his watched and it was already 2:00pm. His cousins were so going to scold him for being late, especially when he was the one who had planned this.
“Oh, I have to go too.” He said feeling a little sad that they have to part ways.
“Can I see you again?” She asked with hope in her eyes as Kai stared at them with his passionate ones.
“Of course, we will.” He said showing a soft smile and winked at her. “Why don’t we exchange our contact number and email, and you can call me and text me anytime.” He said with the same smile on his face as he flipped his phone open while Atsuko’s mouth begun to form a smile.
“So I’ll see you when I see you.” Kai said as he let out a chuckle and Atsuko just nodded. “I’ll be waiting for your calls and texts.” He added as he gave a wide smile.
After exchanging their contact number and emails on their phone, they said and waved their goodbyes as they part ways.
After getting out of the mall, Atsuko took a cab heading towards her work as she stared at her new wallpaper of her and the boy on her phone and a smile formed on her lips, she just became really close with a stranger whom she just met the other day like they’ve known each other for a long time. She can’t help but frown while looking at the picture; having a feeling she had seen the boy’s face before. But…Where?
On the other side, Kai was running towards his car as he was sure that he was late and his cousins would scold him for that. Once his car roared to life, he quickly stepped on it and his car drove really fast, heading towards the theater where his cousins were waiting.
Once Kai arrived at the theater, Riku and Kuu were already there waiting for him. They were both glared at Kai as he came with his small gift and his small bouquet of flowers in each of his hands
“What took you so long?” Riku said keeping his glare at the shorter cousin as he crossed his arms to his chest while sitting on the trunk of his car.
“Yeah man, we’ve been waiting for like 30 minutes.” Kuu added as he also had his box of cakes in hand and a bouquet of flowers on the other. The two other boxes were in the trunk of his car, keeping it for something else.
“Sorry guys, I was eating lunch and lost track of time.” Kai said nervously as he explained at how long it took to find a gift and ended up being hungry and ate lunch, but he didn’t explain that one part, that he was with a girl the whole time. But they didn’t need to know that.
“Anyway, let’s just get going.” Riku sighed defeatedly as he opened the trunk of his car and took the chocolate cake, his gift and his bouquet of flowers.
The three cousins went on the elevator and went on ground floor as they were greeted by a man in a suit.

20 minutes before
Atsuko had just arrived to work, as soon as she went inside a huge building; she went in a spacious room filled with so many girls. She sighed as she put her bag on the floor and sat beside it while still looking at her phone and smiling at the same time, all of a sudden she was surrounded by her friends.
“Acchan, why are you late?” Atsuko quickly snapped her phone close when one of her friends approached her, but a certain squirrel grabbed her phone and opened it.
“Oooh~, who’s this Acchan, your boyfriend?” The squirrel-like girl asked while a tall model-like girl and a girl with a fang looked at Atsuko’s phone curiously.
“Hey, he’s kind of a cutie. But doesn’t he look familiar.” They said as they grin at the flushed girl, Atsuko grabbed her phone back and snapped it close as she saw three other figures approaching them.
“That’s why you’re late; you had lunch with your boyfriend.” The squirrel-like teased at the already flush girl as she blushed even more, looking more like a tomato right now.
“Oh, Acchan, you have a boyfriend?” A short girl among the three figures that just came asked as she tilted her head to the side. “Wait. We’re not supposed to be in a relationship.” She said frankly.
The three girls; fang-girl, tall girl and squirrel-like girl stared at the shorter girl and glanced back at Atsuko’s phone, and their eyes widen in realisation.
“He looks like Minami.” They whispered to each other while the shorter girl noticed that the girls were staring at her.
“What?”
“Oh nothing.” They replied still whispering among themselves.
“I don’t have a boyfriend and he’s not my boyfriend.” Atsuko retorted as she covered her red face.
“It doesn’t seem like it.” A gachapin-like girl teased as she wiggled her eyebrows.
They suddenly stopped talking when a certain man in a suit came in the room with three other figures.

As the man entered the room, everybody became silent as they were about to hear what the man was going to say.
“Sorry for interrupting, but we have three guest who wants to meet three of our members.”
As soon as the three figures entered the room, Atsuko’s eyes widen as she laid eyes at a familiar boy while you could hear screams and squeals from the other girls in the room and became louder when the man introduced them.
“Ladies, I’d like you to meet Persona.” The three boys grinned at the sudden reaction the girls had.
Atsuko and her friends noticed that three of their friends ran towards the three boy and the other members quiet down as they also noticed them and stared at them confuse.
The tallest among the three rushed towards the tallest member of persona and hugged him tightly as the boy replied the hug, the second rushed towards the gachapin-like member hugging him tightly almost knocking him over, and the shortest among three rushed towards the shortest member completely knocking him over as they landed on the floor as the girl straddled his legs and also hugging him tightly placing her cheek over his and rubbed it slightly. The girls in the room including Atsuko and her other friends were shock at the scene and confuse, the three girls that were hugging the three boys, loosen their embrace as they received their gifts and face them with tears forming in their eyes and said in unison.
“I miss you, onii-chan.”
“…” The room was completely silent as the other girls in the room were trying to process everything in their brains as they discovered something really shocking…if you include Atsuko and her friends too. And they exclaim,
“EH! ONII-CHAN!!!”
All the girls had their jaws dropped to the floor, really shock and the three boys can’t help but chuckle at their reaction keeping their embrace on the girls and started introducing themselves, even though the girls already knew them but still, just to make sure.
“Hello, I’m Kojima Riku, Haruna’s older brother. Nice to meet you.” Riku said as he showed his usual charming smile.
“Osu! I’m Minegishi Kuu, Miichan’s older brother. Nice to meet you, ladies.” Kuu said as he winked at the girls and smiled widely while showing a peace sign.
“Yo. And I’m Takahashi Kai, Minami’s older brother. Nice to meet you all.” Kai said as he stood up and he dusted his pants and hugged the little girl from behind.
Everybody was speechless and Atsuko couldn’t believe her eyes, she had been staring at the boy whom she was hanging out her whole lunch hour and she had been wondering if she was dreaming or something as her friends recovered their jaws and they were staring at her as they noticed that Atsuko was staring at the short member of Persona.
“Isn’t that Kai in your wallpaper on your phone?” The squirrel-like girl whispered as she pointed at the supposedly blond member of Persona and Atsuko just nodded, her friends became shock, their eyes widen as they stared at Atsuko.
Atsuko stood up from the floor and walked towards the six people that everybody had been staring at, with her friends following behind. Kai seemed to notice that someone was walking towards them and looked at the person; he eyes became wide at the sight of the girl in front of him and his sister. Riku, Kuu and their sisters were looking at them with their eyebrows raised. Even the little girl was confused at what was going on.
“Minami, is he really your brother?” Atsuko asked as she pointed her finger at Kai. Now that she noticed it, Minami does look like Kai. The little girl just nodded her head.
“Since when?” Fang-girl asked the three girls.
“Well obviously, since we were born. Duh.” Miichan answered as she rolled her eyes.
“You never told us that you had brothers.” A tall girl with short hair said as she tilted her head slightly to the side.
“Because you guys never asked.” Haruna answered with a shrug.
“That’s so cool!” The squirrel-like girl said as she added. “You’re related to Persona.” The three girls just smiled at them as they didn’t know what the big deal was.
“Anyway, Kai-nii, I want you to meet Maeda Atsuko; my best friend.” Minami said as she motioned towards Atsuko, Kai’s eyes widen for the second time, shock.
Atsuko came closer towards Kai as he gulped slightly as he distanced himself from his sister, afraid what might happen since he had lied about him not being Kai of Persona whom in fact he was. Atsuko was a foot distance in front of Kai as she frowned slightly and he just stood there feeling guilty at what he had done while everybody was just watching them curiously.
“You jerk!” Atsuko exclaimed as she pouted at Kai and hit his arm, making him wince at the action as he rubbed his arm and stunning the others. “You lied to me; you told me that you weren’t Kai of Persona, when in fact you were.” She said as she continued to pout.
“Wait, let me explain.” Kai said at the pouting Atsuko, making his sister and his cousins confuse and they had to ask which their answer is quite obvious, but just to be sure.
“Do you guys…know each other?” Minami asked as she stared at the duo that were looking at each other.
“Apparently, they’re dating.” The tall girl said as she pointed at the two who were looking at her incredulously.
“WHAT!” Everybody in the room exclaimed in the exception of Atsuko’s three friends and turned towards Kai and Atsuko as they couldn’t believe at what they had just heard. “SINCE WHEN?!” Riku, Kuu, Haruna, Miichan and Minami shouted.
“I don’t know; we saw a picture of both of them in Acchan’s phone.” Fang-girl said as Riku and Kuu each went to Kai’s side and put their hands on his shoulder and said,
“You could’ve told us you were with this girl then you would’ve been off the hook.” They grinned widely while Kai was blushing furiously like a ripe tomato.
“Acchan, I didn’t knew you were dating Kai-nii.” The three girls said while Atsuko was blushing in embarrassment.
All of a sudden, a certain squirrel snatched Atsuko’s cellphone once again and flipped it open to show everyone, Atsuko’s wallpaper.
“Look, look, look!” Atsuko took back her phone and clutched it near her chest like it was her most precious possession.
“Yuko, don’t just snatch other people’s phones.” Atsuko scolded the squirrel-like girl as she glared at her.
“But Kai-nii, aren’t you currently dating Ray at this moment?” Haruna asked.
Atsuko sadden as she heard that Kai has already a girlfriend, it hurt her, sure she likes Kai…a lot; in a friendly way. But if she were to compete, how was she going to compete with the charismatic diva, the top selling diva at all time. She never felt so close with a stranger before, especially with a boy whom she didn’t knew was her best friend’s older brother.
“Now that you mention it, Ray will surely kill you if she hears this.” Kuu said while his and Riku’s hand was still on his shoulder.
Kai brushed off their hands and turned towards them and took a deep breath with the eyes burning like fire saying.
“Atsuko and I aren’t dating.” To Atsuko, it felt like a knife that had stabbed her, of course they weren’t dating in the first place, but she felt broken-hearted.
Suddenly, Kai’s phone started ringing; you really don’t need to guess who it was since the three boys already knew who it was as they sigh silently and Riku and Kuu moved away from Kai to let him answer the call.
“I have to take this.” Kai excused himself as he got out of the room while Riku and Kuu wave him off.
“It seems that you guys know whose calling. Who’s calling?” The tall girl noticed and asked the two members of Persona.
“Isn’t it obvious? You don’t need a genius to answer that question.” Riku let out another sigh as he leaned on the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
“That person practically texts and calls him every day, she’s like glue sticking on him, she’s completely obsess with him.” Kuu added as he shook his head.
“Hey, where’s Acchan?” Minami asked as she couldn’t find Atsuko in room while the others did the same, except for two who seemed to be enjoying this as a smirk appeared on their faces.

Meanwhile, Kai went up to the rooftop of the theater to pick up the phone call. He sighed as we all knew who it was and picked up the phone call.
“Yeah?” He answered with boredom apparent in his voice.
“Kai~, why didn’t you reply my text messages?” The voice on the other line said with worry.
Kai’s eyes widen, he didn’t knew he had received texts messages from his girlfriend. Maybe he was too busy finding his gift in the mall and hanging out with a cute girl name Atsuko, the whole time. He smiled at the thought of hanging out with Atsuko in the mall a couple of dozens of minutes ago.
“I’m sorry; I was busy with school work.” He lied somehow feeling guilty and he didn’t want to tell that he was hanging out with another girl rather than with his girlfriend, since she will get really jealous and possessive when a girl gets close to him.
“Anyway. Say, do you want to come at my place for dinner tonight?” She asked as she changed the topic while Kai shivered at the thought of Ray cooking him dinner. Though he was happy that he was not eating her cooking tonight.
“Sorry I can’t.” He replied quickly.
“Why not?” Ray asked feeling like he was hiding something from her that made her think that he was going on a date with another girl, and that worries her… a lot.
“Don’t get the wrong idea. The guys and I are just having dinner with some relatives and probably with some friends tonight.” He explained, it was the truth, at the end of the day they will have dinner with their siblings/cousins. “Maybe next time.” He said apologetically trying to make it up for her.
Suddenly, he felt a huge slap on his shoulders as the person snuck behind him and scared him. He let out a loud scream as he almost dropped his phone over the rail and put it back near his ear as he turned around to find a girl in front of him with her usual cute smile, giggling.
“Atsuko! Don’t scare me like that.” He scolded the girl as she playfully stuck out her tongue at him. “And what are you doing here.” He asked as the girl just gave him a shrug of an answer.
“Wait! Who’s Atsu-” Without warning, Kai hung up and snapped his phone close. Ray will kill him for sure for hanging up on her.
Kai leaned his back on the rail as Atsuko walked closer to him and went beside him. With silence surrounding and the breeze of the wind blowing softly on their faces, Atsuko took Kai’s hand into her soft one and entwine them while she placed her head on his shoulder as he rest his head on hers, enjoying each other’s warmth.
“Why did you lie to me?” Atsuko broke the silence keeping her head on Kai’s shoulder while Kai was taken aback by the question and suddenly felt guilty that he had indeed lied to her. “Why did you tell me that you’re not Kai of Persona, when you are?” She asked as she faced him to look into his eyes finding the truth.
“I don’t want to get too much attention from people who might be fans, that’s why I died back my hair; black so they wouldn’t recognize me.” He honestly said as he looked up towards the sky and looked back at Atsuko. “Besides, I’m not Kai of Persona anymore; I’m just Takahashi Kai, an honour student in Tokyo University with Riku and Kuu.”
Atsuko can see the honesty and seriousness in his eyes. She realized that it was true; Riku, Kuu and Kai were not Persona anymore but Kojima Riku, Minegishi Kuu and Takahashi Kai. Persona still exist in these guys hearts because they will never forget their hardship they endured as Persona, and they still exist in many fans hearts.
Atsuko placed her head back on Kai’s shoulder and smiled at his honest answer.
“Say, you want to have dinner tonight with the guys and the girls tonight?” Atsuko was taken aback by the sudden invitation. “You can invite your friends, since I’m sure Haruna, Miichan and Minami will do the same.” He added and Atsuko answered with a nod and squeeze their entwined hands.

Meanwhile, inside a different building, a young woman was staring at her phone with the dial tone that could be heard in her ears. She couldn’t believe what just happened just a few seconds ago, her boyfriend had hung up on her in the middle of their conversation. She will definitely give him a fit.
And just who was this Atsuko?
Atsuko’s name kept popping questions in her mind, obviously that name was a girl’s name, so there was no mistaken it that Kai was hanging out a girl right now, at this moment…alone? She didn’t know the answer to that question, who knows maybe they were with Riku and Kuu.
Kai did mention that he was having dinner with his relatives and friends tonight; she was thinking that maybe this Atsuko is his sister or something and he was not lying to her, but there was a possibility that the dinner he had mentioned was a complete lie and probably he was going on a date with this girl instead.
The thought of Kai and another girl namely Atsuko having a date together alone, angered her so much that she wanted destroy something. These two questions in her mind bothered her a lot; she was debating which one of these questions was a lie and which one was the truth. One of them was right and one was wrong.
Ray was starting to have a small headache for thinking too much. She got up from her seat as she growled in frustration and got out from her dressing room angrily scaring the staffs and ordered one of the staffs to get her something to drink to cool down herself.

To everyone: I would like to apologize for the late update and wasn't able to fufill my promise and was on hiatus for a while, so many thing happened like a huge vacation(and wasn't able to update anything), Acchan's graduation, the team shuffling; they got my head all spinning around and what's worse, school had just started for me and of course for some of you. I failed my summer school program except for French and I will have to attend adult school for my failed subject and get some extra prerequisite for the career I want to be in. As i promised here's a small gift for you guys and I apologize again and I will try my best to update more when I have time.

Chapter 4
“Let’s take this… this… and this…” Miichan and Kuu kept saying as they kept taking food they liked and put them in the cart like they were having a huge feast or something.
They’re in the super market right now shopping for their food to be cook once they get back home with their sisters and some of their friends and it seemed that the Minegishi siblings were overloading the cart, filling them one at a time like their taking everything in the super market.
While Riku, Kuu and Kai were pushing each a cart, Kai felt a slight tug on his shirt, he turned around and found Atsuko smiling shyly at him with a tint of pink on her cheeks. Kai couldn’t help but grin at how cute she looked right now, blushing slightly.
Atsuko pointed towards something and that caught Kai’s attention, he looked at where the girl was pointing and smile as he head towards that area with Atsuko clinging on his arm.
“You want those?” Kai asked as he pointed at the product and Atsuko just nodded her head happily.
Kai took a bunch of those foods and added to the cart while the others besides the Minegishi were looking at them in amusement, because in their eyes those two look so cute and adorable together, like a young married couple.
“They look good together, don’t you think?” Fang-girl said as she pointed at the adorable duo.
“Tomochin’s right.” Yuko agreed with the other girl.
“Takamina, I think our Acchan over there has a crush on your brother.” The tall girl leaned in and whispered in Minami’s ear.
“What’s makes you say that, Mariko?” Minami asked the taller girl as she watched the pair from behind.
“Can’t you really tell? They practically look like a couple over there.” Mariko replied as she stared at the shorter girl with her eyebrow raise. “Don’t tell me, you’re the type who keeps their brother for herself?” She asked.
“What? No way! If I was, then I wouldn’t let any girl near him including Ray-san and excluding relatives.” Minami protested; she’s too boyish to be that type of girl. Miichan and Haruna usually mentioned about Minami being similar to Kai, though with the height difference between them, if you cut Minami’s hair and make her wear boys clothes, they would totally looked like twins. Except shorter, like a small version of Kai or should I say a kid version of Kai.
“Okay, we’re done!” The Minegishi siblings exclaimed in unison.
The group went towards the counter to pay for their pile of food. When the cashier calculate the total of the pile of food with sweat drops on his forehead; Riku and Kai had their eyes completely wide open and their jaws dropped to the floor as they dropped their heads and they stared at the floor. The pile of food was worth a month of food supplies and they’ll use all of that tonight?
On the other hand, Kuu happily took out his wallet with Miichan right beside him as he paid his share of the bill to the cashier while Riku and Kai were looking at him incredulously as Kuu innocently looked back at them with his head slightly tilted to the side.
“What?” He innocently asked as Riku and Kai sighed defeatedly and they took out their wallet and paid for their own share of the bill, looking like they were about to cry.
They really can’t complain, since this was Miichan and Kuu they were talking about, they just hoped they could make it by the time they have their cheque from their part-time jobs. Don’t worry; they earn a lot of money from their so called part-time job.
After gathering all the food in so many plastic bags, they went towards the boys’ cars as they put the bags inside their trunk and the girls went inside the cars and drove away, heading to Persona’s condo.
When they finally arrived at Persona’s condo building, everybody had to carry a few bags with them and use the elevator. As they got inside the boys’ condo, the girls were fascinated by the place at how spacious, clean and neat it was. The place was really big that of course three people can live in, it was very modern, and their furniture was fully set up well.
Their living room had a white carpet with modern designs, a white long sofa forming like a square in three sides, a black marble table in the center of the living room with unlit candles in the middle the table, a plasma TV on the wall supported by glass that’s attached to the wall with the theater speakers hanging on the wall and completing the setting, a PlayStation 3 connected to the plasma TV, also supported by glass with four controllers and with so many different types of games.
As they entered the kitchen to put and prepare all the food for tonight’s dinner, the girls were again amaze. The kitchen had grey marble tiles, many black cabinets, silver double-door fridge, a big black-greyish oven, a counter with three chairs neatly placed and the dining room was just beside the kitchen with a dark brown wooden table combine with six wooden chairs around it.
“Your place is surprisingly clean.” Haruna said as she looked around a little more and placed he finger on the counter and swept her finger, surprised that there was not a single speck of dust in the whole apartment.
“You’re saying like were dirty or something.” Kai said showing a smile as he and the two guys started washing their hands as they prepare dinner.
“We didn’t say you were.” Miichan said as the boys’ just chuckled.
After washing their hands, the boys took out the ingredients, washed and started cutting them, while the girls were just watching them in awe as they cook.
“You guys can cook?” Atsuko asked curiously as she was beside Kai, watching him.
“We have to be independent when we live alone.” Riku answered. “We have been independent since we’ve disbanded two years ago.” He added.
“You got that right!” Kai and Kuu exclaim as they raised their fist in the air.
“Anyway, what did you and Ray talked about?” Kuu asked as he changed the subject.
Atsuko stiffen as she heard the name of the top the selling diva, she took hold at the hem of Kai’s shirt as she listened at the conversation that Kuu started. Nobody didn’t seemed to notice that Atsuko was slightly holding the hem of Kai’s shirt, but Minami seemed to notice it and frowned slightly as she was in deep thought, tilting her head to the side.
“Nothing really, she invited me for dinner tonight, but I declined her offer.” Kai answered as he and Riku shivered at the thought of the diva cooking. “Well, I’m glad that I’m not eating her cooking tonight.” Everyone, besides Riku was staring at Kai curiously as to why he was glad that he was not eating dinner with the diva.
“Why?” They all asked in unison.
“It’s really simple, she’s a terrible cook.” Riku said as a matter of fact while Kai nodded in agreement and everyone was surprise that the diva couldn’t cook while Kuu furrowed his eyebrows as he tilted his head slightly.
“What are you talking about? I think her cooking’s great, there’s this mysterious taste that I can’t really point out, it’s really a mystery.” Riku and Kai were staring at Kuu with their eyebrows raised and shook their heads in disbelief.
“What?” Kuu innocently asked.
“Makes me wonder why you’re studying to become a chef anyway.” Kai said as Riku nodded agreeing to Kai statement while Kuu just shrugged.
“Miichan! Don’t start eating the food yet!” Riku scolded his younger cousin as she had two shrimps half way inside her mouth.
* * * * *
An hour later
“Itadakimasu!” They all said simultaneously as they were all gathered in the living room with their plates in hand and their drinks on the marble table.
“It’s delicious!” They all said in unison, feeling their taste buds exploding in their mouths how much it was so good and how it felt in their mouths.
“You guys are good cooks.” Mariko said as she kept eating the cooking of the three boys combine.
“Riku-nii, Kuu-nii and Kai-nii’s cooking are always the best.” Minami said as she missed her cousins’ and her brother’s cooking while Haruna and Miichan agreed with their shorter cousin.
Yuko noticed that Atsuko and Kai were sitting next to each other and nudged each in her sides Tomochin and Mariko with her elbows, after catching their attention she discreetly pointed her chopstick towards the two talking and smiling to each other. It was such a cute sight to see. Mariko understood what Yuko was trying to say to her and Tomochin and asked Kai,
“Kai-san—” She was about to ask but was cut off by Kai.
“Just call me Kai, same thing for Riku and Kuu. No need for formalities.” He said as he started to drink his drink.
“Okay Kai, are you secretly dating Acchan?” The taller girl finally asked the girls’ question they’ve been wondering.
At the end of the question, Kai begun to choke on his drink and started coughing. Seeing Kai coughing like crazy, Atsuko started to panic and begun rubbing his back and asking him if he was okay, while everybody was watching the scene in amusement, not that they find Kai choking amusing but the scene between the duo.
“If so; When? How? And how did you meet?” To many questions kept coming and the duo didn’t had the chance to answer them. And Atsuko had to cut Mariko off.
“Mariko! That’s rude. You’re asking too much questions all at once. And besides we’re not even dating in the first place.” She said still rubbing Kai’s back while he was starting to calm down.
“Sure you are.” Yuko said teasingly as the other girls were giggling while Atsuko was glaring at her friends whom had teasing looks pasted on their faces.
Suddenly, Kai stood up from his seat and started walking towards the kitchen while Atsuko followed suit.
“Where you’re going?” Riku asked.
“I’m just going to drink some water.” He answered without looking back as he got inside the kitchen with Atsuko following right behind him.
When they got inside the kitchen, everybody quickly put down their plates on the living room table and went to peak at the entrance of the kitchen, spying on them and maybe just maybe they will find answers to their questions.
Kai took a bottle of water in the fridge and slowly gulping it down his throat, after a few more gulps, he put the bottle on the counter and leaned on it. He noticed that Atsuko was staring at him and motioned her to come closer. Atsuko smiled and she did what Kai had asked her and took his hand as she turned around and leaned her back on young man’s solid chest while he put his other hand on the younger girl’s waist.
“Are you okay?” She asked still worried about the coughing incident.
“Yeah. I’m okay, no need to worry about me.” He said while playing with their entwined fingers.
“I’m sorry for my friends’ rudeness.” She apologized while pouting as Kai let out a small chuckle.
“It’s okay; I’m just surprise about Mariko’s first question.” He said as he pulled Atsuko even closer into an embrace while he closed his eyes and leaned his head on hers as she did the same.
“Do we really look like a couple?” He asked earning giggles from the latter, Atsuko pulled away and turned towards Kai still holding his hand, finding him pouting at her from the sudden lack of warmth from the girl.
“If my friends think so, then I guess we do look like one.” She answered; blushing a tint of pink.
“Is that so? Well then…” He let go of the girl’s hand, placing his hands on her waist pulling her even closer and leaned over near her ear to whisper. Atsuko started to blush furiously feeling the boy’s hot breath really close to her ear.
“Why don’t we date secretly?” He whispered making Atsuko blush harder looking like a tomato.
“B-but a-aren’t y-you d-dating R-Ray?” Atsuko asked, stuttering in every word in her sentence.
“You’re worried about that?” Kai chuckled and leaned over again to whisper, and said,
“What I’m trying to say is fake dating, you know; playing along with you friends’ little imagination.” Atsuko was slightly disappointed and was about to say something but Kai’s finger was placed on her lips to silence her in what she was about to say. “And there’s nothing to worry about, I have everything planned out if by any chance Ray saw us together.” He added; smirking, giving a little peck on her cheek. “And I’m sensing that we’re being watched right now.” He said still smirking.
“Huh?” Atsuko stared at him, realising what he meant as she checked in the corners of her eyes, her friends and the two other members of Persona; hiding and staring at her and Kai in awe, and she began to blush again.
* * * * *
While those two were busy in the kitchen, eight young people were spying at the young looking lovers by the kitchen door, gasping and murmuring with each other every little thing they were witnessing in the kitchen.
“Did you guys see that? Not only did Kai cuddled with Acchan, he also kissed her.” Yuko whispered in shock while the other seven nodded, agreeing with her.
“You tell me; they really look good and cute together.” Miichan whispered back, taking out her camera, snapping a few shots at them in silence.
While the girls were speaking among each other, Riku and Kuu seemed to be enjoying this very much, but they also couldn’t help but worry about their shorter cousin; the already knew that the younger girl in the kitchen with Kai, took a liking of their cousin and came really close with him in just one day. They could tell that their bond was getting bigger and greater with each second they spend with each other.
Kuu cupped his hand over Riku’s ear whispering something saying,
“You know; I think those two look perfect for each other and all, but I’m a bit worried about Acchan. If Ray finds out about this, she would go crazy and do something about this… especially to Acchan.”
“I know what you mean. I never thought that Kai would be in another relationship with another girl besides Ray. Just what is he planning to do?” Riku whispered back.
“I don’t know; I just hope he’s not going to create some trouble.” Kuu whispered again as he noticed that the girls were staring at them.
“What are you guys whispering about?” They asked, whispering.
“Oh nothing.” The two boys smiled nervously, waving their hands in front of them. The eight people all noticed that the duo inside the kitchen were heading straight towards them; they all ran back to the living room, seating on the couch, taking their plates in their hands as they began to eat like nothing happened.
Atsuko and Kai walked into the living room hand in hand, smiling while the others looked at them and smiling at them nervously.
“You guys took quite a while.” Kuu said with his mouth filled with food.
“Sorry about that.” Kai simply said as he and Atsuko began to get back to their spot and ate silently. “Guys, I have an announcement to make.” He said as everybody turned to him; looking at him curiously. “Atsuko and I are dating.” Riku and Kuu started to cough at the sudden announcement while the others were just staring at them with jaws dropped.

After supper, they all began to watch a movie together in the dark living room while Kai was in his room, on his balcony, staring at the stars and at the moon in the dark cloudless sky, feeling the night breeze on his skin, enjoying the view of the city lights from his spot. In the living room, noticing that Kai wasn’t with them, Atsuko went searching for him, finally finding him in his room out on the balcony. Sensing that he was being watch, he turned around and found a beautiful girl staring at him in question.
“What brings you here, Atsuko?” He asked the young girl as he motioned her to come near him. The girl approached him right away and stood right beside him, leaning on the rail; inhaling the fresh night air and exhaled, staring at him again.
“Nothing, I was just wondering why you aren’t joining us in watching a movie downstairs.” She said as she rested her chin on her arms, gazing at the side of his face.
“Oh. I already watched all of the movies we own with the guys and some with Ray.” He replied not noticing a small but sad smile from the girl.
“You must really love the Diva a lot; I wouldn’t blame you since you’ve been dating for about two years now. Right?” She said, looking back at her front to the stars.
“Actually, I don’t really know anymore.” He said earning a frown from the AKB48 ace. “What I mean is I don’t what to feel anymore. Of course I do love her but not as much as it was two years ago; it’s not as strong as it was before. I don’t know why; I feel like I’m missing something.” He added; looking up into the night sky once more, earning another frown from the girl.
They stayed like that for a while until the night turned colder than usual, seeing the girl shivering into the cold, Kai began to wrap his arms around her, keeping her warm; Atsuko turned around and found the young man smiling at her naturally.
“You know; if you want to back inside, you can go. You don’t have to stay here with me.” He said raising his brows with worry but smiling slightly.
“It’s okay.” She said. “I want to stay here, it’s nice; and beside, the movie is probably over.” She added, feeling the warmth of those strong arms of the young man behind her. “You’re so warm.” She whispered, Kai just blinked and just smiled at her again, hugging her tightly.
* * * * *
At that same moment, a black Chrysler 300 was in an alley, camouflaging in the dark; a woman was sitting in the front seat, holding a pair of binoculars staring through it while her bodyguard on the driver seat left her alone as he got out of the car, taking a smoke.
The young woman kept staring into her binoculars, her eyebrows meeting each other as she gritted her teeth at the sight before her eyes. Her midget lover was embracing with a girl about the same height as him; and seeing her boyfriend embracing another girl, frustrates her.
“Kai, what’s the meaning of this?!” She growled at nothing as her bodyguard just ignored everything she was doing, knowing very that she’ll confront her midget boyfriend for explanation… or not. “Is she the girl he was with this afternoon? Atsuko?” She asked herself trying to find some answers. She started growling while gritting her teeth as she found Kai hugging the girl, knowing that they wouldn’t let any time soon, she gritted her teeth once again as she quickly fish out her phone in her purse and dialed a familiar number.
After a few rings, no one was picking the phone; unfortunately for her, Kai’s cellphone was on vibrate and he couldn’t hear the vibration of his phone from his balcony. So Ray tried another number and waited for someone to pick up.
* * * * *
Meanwhile, after watching a movie, Riku, Miichan and Haruna started to play games on the Playstation 3. They were shouting and screaming, trying to defeat each other in the game while the rest were just watching waiting for their turn to play. Suddenly their home phone started to ring and Riku was the only one who noticed that the phone was ringing despite with all the yelling and the screaming.
“Aww man. Here Kuu, take over for me.” Riku said as he shoved the controller in Kuu hands. ‘Who could be calling at this hour? Though it’s not even that late yet.’ He internally asked himself as he checked his watch and picked up the phone.
“Hel-”
“KAI!” Being interrupted by a loud voice on the other line; made Riku pull the phone away from his ear.
“Well good evening to you too, Ray.” He said as he placed the phone back on his ear.
“Is Kai with you?” Ray asked her voice crack with worry.
“Yeah, he’s with us; except he’s in his room.” Riku replied nonchalantly.
“Let me talk to him.” She ordered in her bitchy kind of tone.
“Okay. Will you calm down? Kai is not going anywhere.” He said. “But I don’t know if he’s available right now, he’s busy at-” He added but was interrupted by the diva.
“I don’t care. Just let me talk to him.” She said starting to get angry; Riku just let out a sigh, giving her an, “Okay, just hold on a sec.”
He went upstairs to Kai’s room, giving the phone to a confuse Kai saying, “There’s a phone call for you, here.” He left the room and went back to join the others earning a few questions from Kuu.
“Who’s calling?” He asked, staring at the TV screen while furiously pressing the buttons on his controller. “Ah! Damn it, Haruna!”
“Who do you think?” He replied, also staring at the screen; intrigue. “Watch out!”
“The diva?” Kuu asked still staring at the screen. “What for? Ah crap, I died. Here Riku.” He passed the controller to Riku as Miichan also passed the controller to Minami.
“Do you really need to ask that question?” Riku asked as he started a new game on the game.
“Oh, okay then. Never mind.”
* * * * *
“I wonder who’s calling?” Kai asked as Atsuko just shrugged, looking at Kai taking the call. “Yes?” Unlike Riku, Kai earned a whine from his girlfriend.
“Kai~”
“Ray?” Atsuko just stood there, looking back at the stars, giving her fake boyfriend a little privacy with his real girlfriend.
“Kai~ you hung up on me in the middle of this conversation, who are you with right now and who is this Atsuko girl?” Rays questions kept coming up to non-stop.
“Sorry about that, I didn’t mean too I swear.” He apologized. “To answer your questions, Atsuko is my sister and I’m with her right now.” He lied as Atsuko turned towards him, hearing his conversation with the diva as she furrowed her eyes at his excuse. “We’re just spending our time together, since it’s been a long time since I last saw her with my other sister and my two cousins.” He added.
After a few minutes of sweet talk with his girlfriend, Kai went back inside his room followed by Atsuko, bringing the phone back and just placed it on his bedside table. As he turned around, getting back to the balcony, but he suddenly froze when he felt a pair of soft lips on his; Atsuko pulled away from the kiss and hugged Kai tightly as Kai was just standing there trying to process everything that happened in his brain and had a confuse look on his face.
“I know this is quite sudden and maybe too fast for you; but with the time we’ve spent together today felt like I’ve known you for a long time and I feel really comfortable to be with you. I’m going to you this and I’m going to say it once… I love you, Kai.” Atsuko confessed, Kai was left dumbfounded at the sudden confession.
“Uh… what was that you said?” He asked.
“Mou! I said I love you Kai and plus I said I will say it once, you idiot.” She said in pout as she punched him lightly on his chest and buried her face in his chest.
“I’m just playing Atsuko.” He teased the girl and hugged her back.
“You shouldn’t be joking around in this kind of situation.” She said still buried in Kai’s chest, smelling his cologne. But all of a sudden, Kai pulled away from her and gave her a peck on the lips.
