Announced at handshake event now, 29th single janken tournament will be held 09/18 @ Budoukan.
there'll be 8 slots for SKE, 6 for NMB, 3 for HKT.
Along with the promotion announcement, there were other announcements as well. One was that the 28th single was announced for release date on October. Another was, that the 29th single senbatsu will be again yet decided by Janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors game).
For the other groups, the number of girl's who can participate in the tournmament provided they pass the prelimanary rounds are:
SKE48 - 8
NMB48 - 6
HKT48 - 3
And the last announcement was the album of AKB48 which has been scheduled for release on August 15th.
Hopefully we get a good roster of the less promoted girls. Will Sashi be participating as the HKT entry?

Milky is taking part in the AKB48 bracket :)
Though some thinks its too repetitive already /:And it is not too repetitive to have almost the same senbatsu for all other releases right. ;)
Yamauchi Suzuran vs Kojima Haruna
Kuramochi Asuka vs Kawaei Rina
(winner of the above) vs Oshima Yuko
vs
Maeda Ami vs Morikawa Ayaka
Why did Masuda Yuka withdraw? I completely missed that news. Is it because of her new musical gig?
That means Mayu only has to win one battle :O2
That means Mayu only has to win one battle :O2And, yeah, Mayu only needing one win kinda feels like cheating...

Since Yuria didn't make it in, I want to see how close she was/who beat her. :gyaaah:
To those that don't know where to stream it (the Janken Tournament on Kayoukyoku) , you can use various software to stream japanese TV, including TBS. Not the greatest quality though. There is Keyhole which I haven't tried (http://www.v2p.jp/video/english/ (http://www.v2p.jp/video/english/)) and then Niji which I will most likely be using (http://www.myniji.tv/ (http://www.myniji.tv/)).
She lost in the first round to Sakai Mei (http://picroda.jphip.com/akb48/jphip92583.jpg) (Team E). The winner of her block was Sato Seira.Oh my, the first round even. :shocked
I have used Keyhole before which quality of video has too much noise and has limited bandwidth per day, and just tried out Niji which i dont know it stops to buffer a lot... Maybe my internet is just too slow
Is there any streams from Justin.tv ? Please link it here if possible... :kneelbow:
^ Mine is just black, so I assume it will just start playing in 12 hours?

What stream are you using? At least Niji and the one I linked in my last post are supposed to be on, they are streaming the TV channels themselves so.. :sweatdrop:

Yeah, Shimazaki Haruka won. What are the odds of the planned ace to win this janken tournament I wonder.... :smhid
Started watching at 19:00 (JST) but I didn't get to see Milkys janken match. Didn't even get to see what she was wearing.. :panic:
What are you implying! :V
Milky was wearing... Bubbles!

I've just realised I haven't even said congratulations for Paruru once yet. So congrats to her :twothumbsYou mean at the very best? lol
People go on about her being the planned ace but I've just realised she is 18, her birthday is only 4 days different from Mayuyu, although she may become popular from this massive push chances are she will be 2nd best to Mayuyu at the very least, she may also be behind people like Jurina for example.
This maybe her only chance to be center for a single ever so good luck to her :thumbsup

Umechan will forever be known as The Haruna Senbatsu Streak Killer XD
Thank you for correcting me that's exactly what I meant at the very best.I've just realised I haven't even said congratulations for Paruru once yet. So congrats to her :twothumbsYou mean at the very best? lol

If they were going to rig this, they could have been at least a bit more discreet about it
I think they're grooming her to be a number 2.
Thank you for correcting me that's exactly what I meant at the very best.Wait what? I thought that the fact that she won so blatantly was an indicator of it being rigged, LoL.
I do have to say that the fact that she won so blatantly means it wasn't rigged but that's water under a bridge now, hoping Aki-P comes up with a good song for them :)

I have no doubt that it was rigged to at least some degree, e.g., Paruru has to win, but it's a free for all
for everyone else. Something like that I guess.
