Hi all! I had a sudden urge to write a fanfic about kumi and kanon LOLS. I don’t know if I should write this as a one-shot or should I make it more than one chapter? Any suggestions? Here is a short prologue.

“Haaaa…” A certain girl sighed as she looked out the window.
“You are looking at her again?” Churi said to the girl.
“N-no, I am just looking at the trees…” The girl lowered her head, her eyes still fixed on the direction she was looking at.
“ehhh, so you are telling me you are not looking at that moving figure under that tree who is hitting that tennis ball so gracefully?” Churi said again, this time she wrapped her arms around the girl and looked out the window.
“… all right, I was looking at her, but… it’s just… she is so perfect!” The girl said with a small sigh.
“I don’t understand how you are interested in her… I mean, she doesn't have the best grade, she is not the school’s idol and you are not even in the same class!” Churi looked at the girl with a curious face.
“haaaa… you don’t understand. I guess, nobody will… She is… just… awesome.” The girl said as she cupped her cheeks and a small tint of pink crept up to her face.

Ok~ Thanks for all the comments! I decided to write this in chapters! :D So here is chapter 1!

Chapter 1
“Haaaa…” A certain girl sighed as she looked out the window.
“You are looking at her again?” Churi said to the girl.
“N-no, I am just looking at the trees…” The girl lowered her head, her eyes still fixed on the direction she was looking at.
“ehhh, so you are telling me you are not looking at that moving figure under that tree who is hitting that tennis ball so gracefully?” Churi said again, this time she wrapped her arms around the girl and looked out the window.
“… all right, I was looking at her, but… it’s just… she is so perfect!” The girl said with a small sigh.
“I don’t understand how you are interested in her… I mean, she doesn't have the best grade, she is not the school’s idol and you are not even in the same class!” Churi looked at the girl with a curious face.
“haaaa… you don’t understand. I guess, nobody will… She is… just… awesome.” The girl said as she cupped her cheeks and a small tint of pink crept up to her face.

Churi couldn't say anything else but watch her friend sigh and continued looking out the window.
Before they know it, class started after the break and they were starting homeroom.
“pss pss is kanon ok?” Jurina tapped churi on the shoulder and whispered to her.
“Yea, she is just thinking of her again.” Churi replied in a whisper too.
“You two at the back! Stop talking!” The teacher suddenly shouted.
“s-sorry” Jurina and churi lowered their head and focused on their studies.
Churi and jurina had been friends since they were young. They knew each other inside out and they were always together wherever they went. Jurina had an older sister named Matsui Rena. She was in second grade while jurina and churi was in first grade.
Kanon was in the same class as jurina and churi. It was already half a year since they started school.They had known each other since the first day of school. Kanon was always shy and cute but ever since 3 month’s ago, kanon had been unusually quiet and she was always looking out the window with a troubled look.
Churi and jurina was getting worried about her. They didn't know what was wrong with kanon. All they knew was that kanon had been looking out the window before school, when they were having their break and whenever she could.
After School~
“kanon?” Churi tapped kanon on the shoulder when she saw kanon in a daze.
“O-oh yes?” Kanon raised her head and looked at churi.
“Kanon, are you ok? You were in a daze…” Jurina who was standing beside churi said.
“Y-yes… I’m ok…” Kanon said and stood up.
“It’s time to go home. Let’s go~” Churi and jurina helped kanon pack her bag and the three went home together.
The three were walking home and the mood was weird because neither of them talked. Jurina broke the silence.
“Umm… So, do we have any homework today?” Jurina asked.
Churi knew what jurina was doing and pretended to not know the answer.
“Ah… I was not really listening to the teacher today… er, kanon do you know?” Churi said as she gave jurina ‘the look’, with a smile and looked at kanon.
“eh? Oh… umm, yea I took note of that. We have English an math homework today. Remember to do your homework.” Kanon said and gave a small smile.
This was a smile that jurina and churi long to see no matter how small it was. They looked smiled when kanon smiled.
After that small smile that they exchanged, they went their separate ways. Churi and jurina lived beside each other so they went the same way. On the other hand, kanon lived a little further from them and she had to take the train back home.
Jurina and churi – On the way home
“hey jurina.”
“hmm?” jurina walked along side churi, kicking pebbles once in a while.
“Do you think kanon will be ok?” churi said as she suddenly slowed down.
Jurina sensed the worry in churi’s voice and she slowed down too.
“I am sure she will be fine churi… don't worry too much. Ok?” Jurina said.
“If you say so jurina… you are always right. I just know it.” She smiled at jurina.
“hahaha yea I am always right, cause you are always wrong. Hahaha!” Jurina pinched churi’s cheek and made a run for it.
Jurina always managed to cheer churi up when she was down. Churi chased after jurina and forgot about her worried momentarily.

Kanon’s POV.
I am kimoto kanon and I’m in first grade of aki high. I have known jurina and churi since the first day of school. I have always been shy so I am not good with making friends. Lucky for me, jurina and churi was the first friends I made and they are very good people.
Since 3 month ago, I met someone that I had never met in my life but she was special. Just awesome…
I don't know her name. I don't know anything about her. The only thing I know is that she always plays tennis at lunch. Judging from her looks, she may be in the second grade. Which means she is my senior. However, like I said, I am judging this from her looks. So… maybe she is in the first year just like me?
“haaaa…” I sighed again. I have sighed so many times today. This isn’t like me. I should just stop thinking about her.
Soon, I was home and in my room. I sat down on my chair and took out a letter from my bag. I had hope to pass this letter to her someday but… I didn't have a chance to talk to her. Neither do I have the courage to talk to her.
“…” I looked at the letter for the last time and opened my drawer.
With a last sigh, I kept the letter into the drawer and went to shower.
It’s been 3 months since I had last smiled. This is not me at all. I don't want to make jurina and churi worry about me. After a shower to clear my mind, I sent a text to both jurina and churi.
To: Jurina, churi
Subject: Thank you.
You two are the best friends that I have ever met and I don’t want you to worry about me.
I just wanted to tell you two that I am fine, so don't worry about me.
I will be the kanon you had known 3 month’s ago from tomorrow onwards.
Thank you for being such good friends!
<3 kanon.
I went to bed after doing my homework and prepared for a day that I will be my real self again.
I lay in bed, thinking for the last time about the person who had been on my mind. After tonight, I won’t look at her again. So, at least for tonight, please let me have a dream come true in my dream. I slept with a heavy heart, waiting for tomorrow to come.
End of kanon’s POV.

The next day came fast and kanon woke up from her sleep when her alarm clock went off.
“uuu…” She sat on the bed and rubbed her eyes with her small hands.
She looked at the mirror and breathed in.
Today is a brand new day for her. The day that she will stop looking out the window.
She prepared for school after a final check of her uniform, walking to school with a new attitude.

“kanon~-chan!” Churi ran into class and when she saw kanon, she hugged kanon immediately.
“C-churi… I c-cant breathe…” Kanon said in a suffocated tone.
“Churi not so tight! You are choking her!” Jurina pulled churi away before churi choked kanon.
“Ahhh Sorry sorry, I was just so happy that kanon sent us a message telling us that she is fine and all those cute things! Kanon-chan~ you are so cute~” Churi said and patted kanon’s head.
“C-churi! S-stop everyone is staring!” Kanon was embarrassed by churi’s over reaction.
Jurina stood there laughing happily when she saw kanon back to her normal self. Churi and her had treated kanon just like a younger sister and they had the feeling that they need to protect kanon. Now that kanon was back to her old self, they were happier than anyone could be.
“Welcome back kanon.” Jurina smiled and patted kanon’s head.
“T-thank you jurina.” Kanon smiled her cutest smile with her cute dimple showing.
Class started and everyone scrambled to their seats. Homework was passed to the front and everything was quiet and calm.
Their 1 hour break came fast and students were excited for their lunch break.
“Kanon! Let’s eat our lunch together!” Jurina grabbed her lunchbox and her chair and sat beside kanon.
Churi followed behind and the three started chatting while having their lunch.
“kanon, it’s good to have you smiling again.” Churi commented as she ate a mouthful of rice.
Kanon gave her a shy smile and unknowingly, looked out of the window. Looking out of the window had somehow become a habit of kanon.
However, this time, when she looked out of the window without expecting much, she saw something she didn't thought that she would see.
“Hey kanon… why is that girl looking this way?” Jurina asked when she looked at where kanon was looking.
“kanon…” Churi said as she looked worriedly at kanon.
“…” Kanon was speechless because she didn't believe her eyes. Not until both her friends confirmed that her eyes wasn't playing trick on her. She was really looking their way. Why was she looking their way? Questions flashed through kanon’s mind.

you stated that it was only half a month when school started and yet you said kanon changed 3 months ago??? so does the three of them know each other before they started school??? or was that just a mistake? ^_^

Chapter 2
Kanon looked into the mirror and thought about what happened in school earlier today.
Flashback.
“Hey kanon… why is that girl looking this way?” Jurina asked when she looked at where kanon was looking.
“kanon…” Churi said as she looked worriedly at kanon.
End flashback.
“Looking… at… me…” Kanon looked into the mirror and blushed.
“Why was she looking at me?...Why…” Kanon ruffled her hair and walked out of the toilet.
She plopped on bed, covering her eyes with her right hand and fell asleep.
That night, kanon dreamt of the courage she needed.
Kanon’s dream and pov.
W-where is this… I remembered I was sleeping… is this, a dream?
Ah! I see jurina and churi! Eh?! Who are they talking to? … on a closer look, they were talking to me. T-to me?! Eh?!!!
“Jurina! Churi! Kanon!” I shouted but they didn't seem to notice me. Wow it feels weird calling myself haha. I giggled to myself.
I walked in front of of the group and waved my hands around but didn't get any reaction from them. Oh, so they cant see me…
What are they looking at? They are all looking out the …. Window…
With caution, I looked out the window and I was right. She was looking at us!
I am back to this afternoon?
A blush crept through my face unknowingly as the beautiful girl looked at us.
Before I knew it, my legs were running on their own. I was out the classroom and running down the steps.
“E-eh?! W-wait! N-no! I am not ready to meet her yet!” The wind was brushing through my face as I ran as fast as I could without any control over my legs.
When I reached the tennis court, she was gone. She is not there. I looked around for hoping to find her as my leg moved on its own again.
“Are you looking for me?”
I suddenly heard a voice said. I froze on the spot because I knew it was her. I could hear my own heartbeat.
“I saw you looking at me, ever since 3 months ago.”
My eyes widened when I heard her said that. S-so, she has been watching me since 3 months ago?! W-wait! S-she can see me?! What, I mean how can she see me?! I am in my dream!
As if it could hear my thoughts, my body turned on it’s own and now I was facing her.
She was breathtakingly beautiful in person. Long black hear, bright clear eyes, perfect pink lips. I gulped when my eyes travelled to her lips and I covered my mouth in shock.
“Are you ok?” She asked in concern.
Her voice is so gentle. She must be a kind and gentle person.
“H-how can you see me?” I asked her in a small voice.
“E-eh? What are you talking about? Hahaha you are funny” She laughed.
Waaaa~ even her laughter is cute. She is beautiful! I don’t understand how she can see me when no one else can.
“Kimoto kanon… that’s a nice name” She said as she brushed a strand of hair back with her hands.
“Eh? H-how did you know my name?!” I asked in surprise. The moment she say my name, my face heated up more than it was.
“You told me.” She smiled again.
“I didn- …” before I could reply, my thoughts was transferred into words.
“W-what is your name?” I lowered my head and shut my mouth with my hands.
I didn't mean to ask her that! Why did I ask her that!? So this is how a dream works? …
“You are a funny one hahaha, My name is Yagam-“
Eh? What was happening? The surroundings were getting brighter.
I was being sucked into the brightness! W-wait! I haven’t heard her name! W-wait!!
End of kanon’s dream and pov.
“Non-chan? Are you ok?! Non-chan?!” Kanon’s sister knocked on the door.
Kanon sat up on her bed with cold sweat on her face. Her breathing was heavy and she was in shock.
“I…I met her… in my dream…” She heaved out a heavy breath o calm herself down.
The knock on the door came again.
“Non-chan?! Are you awake?!” Her sister called again, worried.
“Yuka-nee I’m okay, I just woke up. S-sorry for the ruckus.” Kanon said.
“Okay, come down when you are ready for school, breakfast is done.” Yuka said and went downstairs.
Kanon looked into the mirror and said “Yagam… I didn't hear her full name…”
The rest of the day in school was weird to kanon because her dream felt so real.
“Kanon, you ok?” Jurina and churi was beside her during break. They were eating their lunch as usual.
“Yea… I had a really weird dream yesterday. It felt so real…” Kanon said as she chewed on her food causing her cheeks to puff up.
“Aww kanon you have a rice grain on your cheek~” Churi reached out and picked the rice off kanon’s face.
“T-thanks” kanon rubbed her face and ate another mouthful of rice.
“kanon~ you are so cute!!!” jurina pounced on kanon and stole a kiss from her on her cheek.
“J-jurina! I’m eating my oinigiri!” Kanon pouted and took another bite from her rice ball.
Churi and jurina looked at each other and squealed. They hugged kanon who was still chewing on her onigiri like a hamster and patted her head.
Kanon was used to all the squealing so she continued eating her food as usual.
They continued chatting until they suddenly heard more girls from their class squealing.
“eh? What happened?” jurina, churi and kanon turned towards the sound.
The girls in class was squealing when the door opened and and yuka and rena walked into class.
“Oh non-chan!”
“Eh?! Yuka-nee?! What are you doing here?”
“I came to pass you your water bottle! You forgot your umbrella too.” Kanon’s sister from second grade walked towards kanon.
Kanon checked her bag and true enough her umbrella was not there.
“Ahh, thanks yuka-nee I got so thirsty just now and I left my umbrella at home too.” Kanon took the umbrella and water bottle from yuka.
“You are so clumsy! Hahah!” Yuka pinched kanon’s cheek.
“Onee-chan what are you doing here?”
“Hahaha yuka said she wanted to pass something to kanon so I decided I might as well come see my little sister.” Rena smiled as she ruffled jurina’s hair.
“Hey! Don't ruffle my hair!” Jurina playfully slapped rena’s hand away.
“Hahahaha! Want a melon pan for your lunch?” Rena took out a melon pan from her pocket.
“Why do you have a melon pan in your pocket?” Jurina asked as she took the melon pan.
“Well, I get hungry.” Rena smiled again and chuckled.
The girls in the class was still squealing and murmuring.
Nakanishi yuka was popular in aki high because of her cool character. She was the prince in the school. Everyone respected her and admired her. She is in the same class with Matsui rena. Matsui rena is also popular in the school because whn she dressed up as a guy, she was handsome! This of course applies to jurina too. Jurina is popular in first year because she is princely.
“Hey, class is about to start we better get going” A voice came from outside the classroom.
“Ah thanks kumi! Hey rena let’s go.” Yuka said.
Upon hearing kumi’s name, some of the girls in the class squealed again.
“errr, why are the squealing again?” Jurina asked rena.
“Oh Yagami kumi transferred here 4 months ago and her popularity is slowly rising because she joined the tennis club.”
“… yagam… yagami kumi…” kanon whispered the name.
“Ehhh never heard of her before though…” jurina said and looked at churi who looked back with a shrug.
“Yea of course you haven’t heard of her hahaha she keeps a low profile though sometimes she receives love letter and such.” Yuka said and smiled to some of the girls in the classroom.
Kumi, stepped into classroom and she was surrounded by the girls. Even girls from other classes came to look at the popular second grades.
“Well…now you cant see her because of that crowd hahaha… we could all go home together today after class since we don't have any after school programs today.” Rena stood there and took out another melon pan.
“Yea sure lets go home together.” Jurina said.
“Ah, I can’t I have club activities today so kanon I’m sorry, you have to take the train alone today… again…” Yuka said and looked at kanon.
“A-ah it’s ok yuka-nee I will see you at home then. It’s my turn to make dinner today.” Kanon gave a small smile to yuka and continued thinking about the name, yagami kumi.
The crowd got bigger and kumi spoke through the crowd.
“Hey you guys let’s get going! Our class is starting in 5 mins!” She smiled and spoke to yuka and rena.
“Hahaha we gotta go! She can’t take stand crowds, hahaha! Sorry Kumi! We are coming!” Yuka animatedly ran towards kumi and rena followed her.
Once the seniors went out of class, the crowd dispersed and it became quieter.
“Whew wow the crowd is unbelievable just a moment ago.” Jurina laughed.
“Yea, hahaha I hope you don't get this types of crowd when you are in year two. Right kanon?” Churi said and laughed with jurina.
“Hey kanon?” Churi tapped kanon on her shoulder.
“Wha! O-oh whats up churi?” Kanon jumped up when churi tapped her.
“Er you okay? You were spacing out.” Churi said and glanced at jurina.
“Yea im okay don't worry. I was just thinking about something. Hahaha.” Kanon smiled awkwardly as she realized she had worried her friends again.
Class started after their small conversation ended. Everyone was hyped up after the appearance of the seniors. The teacher commented on how everyone as suddenly so energetic at history class.
After class, everyone went home and churi, jurina and kanon waited in class for rena and kumi.
“Hey!” Rena walked in class with another melon pan in her mouth.
“Sis you should stop eating so many melon pan! We are having dinner soon!”Jurina chided lightly.
“Hahaha don't worry, I promise this is my last melon pan. … For today hehe” She laughed and took another bite out of her melon pan.
“Oh where is Yagami-san?” Churi asked, as she didn't see anyone else beside rena.
“Oh she went to take her book that she forgot. Yuka is at her club activities in case you were wondering.” Rena replied.
The four of them chatted in the classroom until they heard the door slide open.
Kanon’s eye widened.
“Hey sorry I took so long! I finally found my book.” Kumi was at the door waving her book.
“Hahahah it’s okay! I was enjoying every last bit of my melon pan hahahah!” Rena stood up and walked towards kumi.
“This is yagami kumi. The rising star in second grade.” Rena said jokingly.
Kumi lightly slapped rena’s arm playfully and said:”Oh come on stop joking around! I am so glad yuka isn’t here now cause this will end up being a ‘tease kumi’ session.” She laughed and joked.
Jurina and churi started laughing and hitting it off with kumi.
kanon was still standing there wide eye and in a trance and whispered the name again: "Y-yagam… Yagami ... kumi… .”

Chapter 3
“Yagam…Yagami… kumi…”
Kanon was spacing out when the other four were chatting happily, getting to know each other.
“hahahah! Yagami-san is so funny! No wonder you’re getting popular!” Jurina was laughing at kumi’s joke.
“Hahaha! Please just call mi kumi, don't be so formal! You two are funny people! HAhahha!!”
“Kumi!” Jurina and churi both giggled as they called kumi’s name.
“Hai!” Kumi jokingly salute them.
“Oh hey! We should get going! There are still ton’s of homework to do.” Rena said as she looked at her watch.
“Yea let’s go!” Jurina picked up her bag and they were about to leave the classroom when she saw kanon spacing out.
“Kanon?” jurina slanged her bag on as she called out to kanon.
“What happened?” Churi, who was about to walk out of the classroom walked over and peered over jurina’s shoulder.
“She’s spacing out again…” Jurina pointed at kanon who was still sitting at the same spot and staring into space.
Rena and kumi looked back to see what jurina and churi was talking about.
“What’s wrong?” kumi asked.
“Ah… I wonder what’s wrong with kanon today, she has been spacing out since this afternoon…” Churi said, as she looked worried.
As soon as Kumi spoke, kanon looked at the 4 persons who were looking at her.
“E-eh? W-why are you staring at me like that?” kanon picked up her bag and said: “W-we should get going now…” She walked pass the group without looking at kumi nor the others and they were left dumfounded before jurina awkwardly introduced kanon: “E-er, H-hahahha! Kumi, her name is kimoto kanon and she is abit shy around strangers so don't mind her A-ahahaha, let’s go…” She followed kanon out of the classroom.
“…” Kumi didn't say anything but just looked at kanon’s back when they were walking at the hallway.
“Hey kanon? Are you really ok?” Churi asked in concern.
“Yea, im fine churi, don't worry about me” kanon gave a small smile and sensed someone looking at her.
She turned back to look at rena who was talking to kumi and kumi was staring at kanon.
“…” kanon turned her head around quickly and asked jurina a question in order to avoid kumi’s eyes.
“A-ah jurina! Y-you, you have been saying you want to eat one of the onigiri’s that I made right? Shall I make it for you tomorrow?”
“Ehhhhh?! Yes Yes! Yes please!” Jurina clinged onto kanon like a koala bear.
“No fair! I want one too! Kanon~ make me one onigiri please!!!” Churi whined as she clunged on kanon too.
“Ahahaha, y-you two! I can’t move!!! All right! Two onigiris for the both of you tomorrow!” Kanon struggled to walk as the two ‘kids’ clung onto her.
“Yay! Kanon is the best!!” Jurina and churi both stole a kiss from kanon before running away at full speed.
“M-mou! You two! Get back here!” Kanon chased them with her full speed. Another reason for running was because she didn't want to face kumi. She still didn't have the courage.
Rena smiled as she saw the three having fun and so energetic.
“Hahaha they are so energetic even at this hour, that's nice.” Rena said.
“Yea… and very cute too…” Kumi gave a mysterious smile as she looked at the back of kanon who was running away.
“hmmm~” Rena looked at kumi with a smirk.
“… I know that look… That’s your smirking look, why are you smirking?” Kumi narrowed her eyes as she looked at rena in suspicion.
“Hmmm~ I wonder why~” Rena said as she let out a fake laughter and went on ahead, leaving kumi dumbfounded.
After a long chat and a bit of teasing, the group of 5 finally walked out of school.
“That was the longest time it took me to walk out of school. Ahhh~ it was fun~” Jurina stretched out her hands and let out a small yawn.
“Hya!” Churi slapped jurina’s bag and said: “Come on old lady! Don't fall asleep while walking hahaha!”
“Ehhhhh~ but I’m exhausted~” Jurina whined and rubbed her bag and said: “Awwww now you hurt my bag! See this dent…” She pouted.
“Hahahaha sorry~ in return, I will let you slap mine~ Here!” Churi handed out her bag and jurina began violently punching it.
Kanon was watching them but her mind wandered to another person.
“Errr, so… whats up with that bag slapping game?” Kumi said when she saw churi and jurina slapping their bags.
Kanon perked up her ears like a rabbit when she heard kumi’s voice.
“Hahaha! That's just their way of communicating.” Rena said.
“Er, do you mean bag slapping? Or do you mean they are having fun?” Kumi said with a raised eyebrow.
“I meant that they are having fun” rena said as she hugged her bag.
“…” Kumi gav rena a mysterious smile and prepared to grab rena’s bag when she saw how rena was so protective about her bag.
“No no no don't even think about it” Rena gave kumi a cold look as she clutched her bag even tighter.
“Hahaha kumi! You better not mess around with her when she has that look! I bet her melon pan are in that bag hahaha!” Jurina shouted to kumi. Jurina saw kanon walking in the middle and she walked over to kanon and grabbed her bag.
“Hehehe your turn!” Jurina started slapping kanon’s bag to get her involve in the conversation.
“Hey! I want to play too!” Churi rushed over and they started playing aroud with kanon’s bag.
“H-hey! Stop torturing my bag!” Kanon snapped out of her thoughts and started snatching her bag back from jurina and churi.
Kumi stopped teasing rena when she heard kanon’s voice. She turned her attention to the kanon who was now jumping up to get her bag back from the other two.
“hmmm~ Isn’t she cute? Just like a bunny.” Rena commented when she saw kumi looking at kanon again.
“Yea~ Cute…” Kumi’s eyes widened and she looked at rena and said: “W-wha?!”
“Hahaha! Heh” Rena smirked again.
“… Why are you smirking again?!” Kumi looked at rena.
“You…”
“I-i?” Kumi stuttered.
“It’s nothing, you will figure it out soon.” Rena said and smiled a mysterious smile before shouting: “Hey you girls, give kanon her bag back and we should get home soon!”
She walked towards the three, leaving kumi behind with a question mark on her head.
Soon, it was time to part ways. Kanon got her bag back and she reminded jurina and churi again to do their homeworks.
“See you tomorrow, remember to do your homework’s.” Kanon said.
“We know, we will remember thanks! Bye bye kanon~ see you tomorrow too~” Jurina and churi smiled
“Let’s go then. Bye kanon~ bye kumi~” Rena said.
“Eh?! Kumi is taking the train too?” Jurina asked.
“Yep, I have to take the train to get back home.” Kumi said as she glanced at kanon.
“Ehh? So you are taking the same train as kanon? Hey that’s good! She wont be alone from now on~” Churi hugged kanon and said: “isn’t that great? You wont feel lonely on the way home now~”
“… Y-yea…” Kanon was almost blushing if she wasn't holding it in.
She was excited to take the same train as kumi but she was afraid too. She didn't have the courage to talk to kumi and since school ended, she had not face kumi, not even once. Now, they had to take the same train and she didn't know what to do. She was too shy.
“Well I guess we will get going now, see ya.” Kumi waved at them and she caught rena smiling at her again.
“... Those smile again! What did she mean just now?” kumi thought to herself.
“B-bye rena, jurina, churi…” Kanon followed behind kumi.

“Will she be okay? Kanon didn't seem to talk much ever since school just now.” Churi said worriedly.
“Don't worry she will be fine. Let’s go.” Jurina held churi’s hand and followed rena.

Kanon was walking behind kumi, looking down at her feet as she walked.
Kumi on the other hand was walking in front thinking about how to start a conversation to break the silence.
She stopped in her track suddenly and kanon who was looking at her feet bumped her head on kumi’s back.
“A-ah, s-sorry…” Kanon hugged her bag.
“…” Kumi did not say anything. She just looked at kanon silently.
Kanon felt weird that kumi didn't say anything and she timidly looked up to see kumi looking at her.
“…” Kanon turned her head and looked at the sky, not facing kumi.
“… Do you hate me?” Kumi suddenly said.
Kanon looked at kumi wide eyed and was shocked to hear that kumi thought she hated her.
“…” Kanon didn't know what to respond.
“… I don't know why you hate me but… if you don't like me being around you… I… I’ll leave…” Kumi had a very sad face and she turned to leave when she did not hear any response from kanon.
“I…” Kanon couldn't say anything but when she look at the back of kumi, something came over her. Something named courage.
She ran over to kumi and grabbed kumi’s uniform, stopping kumi from going.
“… I… I don't hate you…” Kanon said in a small voice.
Kumi looked back to see kanon pulling on her uniform. She thought it was super cute of kanon to do that. Just like a timid rabbit. Fluffy and cute.
“But… I thought… you hated me…” Kumi turned around to face kanon.
“N-no I don't hate you… I just… I’m shy around strangers…” Kanon said as she glanced at kumi.
“It’s ok… you will have plenty of time to know me. So… don't be afraid.” Kumi said as she looked at kanon with a gentle smile.
“un…” Kanon nodded and blushed. This didn't go unnoticed by kumi and she smiled again which made kanon blush deeper.
“To start it off, hi, im yagami kumi. Can I be your friend?” Kumi reached out her hands and waited.
“H-hi, my name is Kimoto kanon… nice to meet you…” Kanon took kumi’s shook kumi’s hand and felt the soft warm feeling. She didn't thought she would have the courage to talk to kumi and now she was shaking her hand.
With the first step taken, kanon and kumi had a small chat on the train. Although the atmosphere was still awkward, kanon started to chat and occasionally laughed at kumis joke. She found out that kumi had moved into a new apartment 2 days ago.
“Ah! I am going down at this stop.” Kumi said.
“Eh?...” Kanon stood up at the same time as kumi and they shared a small chuckle.
“I didn't know you that you were living in the same area hahaha” Kumi said as she received a message from her phone.
“Oh! I have to go somewhere else now, see you tomorrow… kanon~” Kumi smiled and felt something in her heart when she said kanon’s name.
“S-see you tomorrow… k-kumi.” Kanon blushed again when she said kumi’s name and they went their separate ways.
Kanon reached home and went to her room and took a shower. She changed into a hoodie and a pair of shorts before sitting at her desk.
She took out her homework and was ready to do her homework when she received a text from jurina asking her about the trip home.
From: Jurina
Subject: How was it?
Kanon~ how was your trip home with kumi?
I believe you two will be good friends in the future!
Open up more and try to be friends ok?
See ya tomorrow! <3
Kanon smiled and typed a reply.
To: Jurina
Subject: Thank you.
Jurina~ Thank you for worrying about me again~
We are friends now! The trip home with kumi was filled with laughter
Although the mood was still a little awkward… hahah

Kanon put down her phone and continued doing the last bit of her homework.
“ah, it’s time to cook some dinner. Yuka-nee is coming home soon.” Kanon tied up her hair and went to the kitchen.
She took out the some tomatoes and vegetables from the fridge.
“Eh?! Did nee-chan finish the drinks again?!” Kanon let out a small sigh and texted yuka, telling her that she will be out buying some drinks.
Kanon stepped out of her house and was greeted with a star filled sky. The breeze was cooling as she walked a short distance to the convenience store. She reached the convenience store and as she walked in, the sound of the bell in the convenience store refreshed her mind.
“drinks drinks.” Kanon mumbled to herself.
“There it is!” She reached out to grab a bottle but another hand had grabbed it first.
“Kanon?!” Kumi said in surprised.
“K-kumi?! Eh?” Kanon was surprised to see kumi here. Furthermore, their hands were touching when they reached out for the same bottle.
“W-what are you doing here?” kanon withdrew her hands and blushed again for the nth time of the day.
“Oh I was just going to go home but I felt thirsty so here I am.” Kumi chuckled and looked at kanon’s blushing face with a small smile.
“O-oh… Yuka-nee finished the drinks at home again so I came to buy some.” Kanon said and felt kumi staring at her again.
“Here, you can have this, I will get another drink.” Kumi handed the bottle that she was holding to kanon.
“E-eh, but… t-thanks.” Kanon smiled and took the bottle from kumi, not wanting to reject her.
They paid for their drinks and walked out of the store.
“Umm, I’m going this way.”Kanon pointed to the right.
“hahah! Such a coincidence! I’m going this way too!” Kumi said as she pointed to the right.
The two walked together under the star filled sky and enjoyed the small breeze that were blowing on their faces.
“Did you… finish your homework yet?” Kumi facepalmed herself mentally as she asked a stupid question to start the conversation.
“Yep, I finished my homework… how about yours?” Kanon sayed and showed her dimple smile to kumi trying to start the conversation.
“Nope I haven’t done anything yet. I will finish it when I get home.” Kumi laughed a little and felt her heart beating faster than usual.
The walk was short because the convenience store was just a few blocks away from kanon’s house. Soon, they arrived at kanon’s house.
“T-this is my house.” Kanon pointed at a simple two storey high house.
“T-this is your house?!” Kumi shouted in surprised.
“Y-yea.” kanon was confused.
“That’s my house!” Kumi pointed the house right next to kanon’s.
“Ehhh?!” Kanon looked at the direction kumi was pointing at.
“Wow, I didn't know we were neighbors!” Kumi laughed in excitement.
“Oh btw! Kanon… C-can I have your phone number?” Kumi looked shyly at kanon.
Kanon thought kumi looked cute with that shyness.
“Y-yes, of course!” Kanon unknowingly let out a louder voice that she intended to.
They exchanged numbers and said goodbye before heading into their own houses.
As soon as she set foot in her house, kanon received a message.
From: Kumi
Subject: Hi!
Kanon, umm, I am happy that you don't hate me and I am very surprised that we are living so near. This is the first time I have a friend that live’s this near.
S-so… see you tomorrow! :D
Kanon felt like her dream had come true and not only that. It was even better than just meeting kumi. They exchanged their numbers, shared a few jokes.
After 3 months of watching from afar, being so close to kumi almost seemed like a dream. Her heart was beating faster with every moment that she spent with kumi. She typed a message to kumi.
To:kumi
Subject: Hi.
I-i am happy to be able to have you as a friend to.
I have always been shy around people and I am sorry that I made you think that I hated you. But I don't! You are kind and funny. S-see you tomorrow. ^^
After a long tiring day, kanon changed into her pajamas and plopped onto her bed. She felt a cold wind and saw that she had forgotten to close her window. She stood up from her bed and walked towards the window, still thinking about the amazing meeting with kumi. Just when she thought that things could not get any better, she reached the window to find a familiar face staring right back at her.
“Hey!” Kumi smiled at kanon through the window from her own room.
“H-hi.” Kanon said, feeling another rush of heat on her face.
“Another coincidence huh, hahaha” Kumi chuckled again.
“Y-yea… are you sleeping soon?” Kanon asked.
“Yep, you?” kumi leaned her hand on the window grills.
“Yea I was just going to close the windows before I sleep.” Kanon smiled.
“Ok, see you tomorrow. Goodnight kanon~” Kumi said with a gentle tone as she felt her heartbeat increase with the meeting with kanon.
“G-goodnight…” Kanon closed the windows and plopped back to bed.
“haaa~” Kanon sighed in bliss as she looked at her doll and said: “I wonder what tomorrow is installed for me… this meeting is like a dream! And… I cant believe she is so close to me… Kyaaa~” Kanon hugged her doll, covered herself with the blanket and dreamt a sweet dream for the first time after the 3 long months of insomnia.

Chapter 4
It was a friday morning and kanon was still asleep. Everything was very peaceful until a loud knock on the door could be heard.
“Non-chan!! It’s time for school! Non-chan?!” Yuka was knocking on the bedroom door.
“enn…” kanon didn't answer and just rolled over, covering herself with her blanket.
“Non-chan!! I’m going to school for early club activities! Wake up and get ready for school! I’m going off now! Non-chan do you hear me?!” yuka knock on the door and facepalmed mentally.
“ennn… Ok yuka nee! Byee!” kanon yawned and sat up sleepily.
“ehhhh?!!! It’s only 7… school starts at 9… nee channnn…” kanon looked at her phone and mumbled.
She was already up and didn't bother to lay back in bed just in case she overslept.
She groggily stood up from bed and walked to the window and opened the curtain. The sunlight was strong and she shut her eyes because of the brightness.
“uwahhh…” Kanon stretched and yawned again.
After a few moments of shutting her eyes, kanon opened her eyes and the next thing she felt was heat raising up to her face and it flushed red.
“hehe morning kanon~” Kumi was leaning on her window rail with her hands cupping her face and watching kanon.
“M-morning…” Kanon was shocked that kumi was up so early and had caught her in an embarrassing moment.
“Y-you saw that?” kanon asked kumi.
“Saw what? You yawning and stretching like a cute kitten? Heheh yep I saw that. Hahahaha.” Kumi laughed and smiled at kanon.
“… W-why are you up so early… s-school is not starting until 9” kanon stammered and blushed again when she saw kumi smile at her. It was like a dream, speaking from the window to the one she liked.
“Hmmm, I heard someone shouting for someone to wake up, so I woke up.” Kumi said and grinned at kanon.
“… S-sorry for being so loud in the morning. My sis was in a hurry.” Kanon rubbed her eyes and apologized.
“Nahh, it’s ok. I am a morning person anyways hahaha. You look sleepy why not go back to sleep?” kumi asked.
“I… I’m afraid that I would oversleep and be late…” kanon said in a small voice, embarrassed.
“hahaha! It’s ok you can go back to sleep I will wake you up later.” Kumi said.
“N-no it’s ok, I will just do something to keep myself awake… t-thanks.” Kanon said and scratched her forehead, thinking about what she should do.
“hmmm~ ok then, I will see you later.” Kumi said as she smiled again and went into her room.
“S-see you later…” kanon backed away from the window slowly and sat on her bed. She grabbed her pillow and hugged it.
“uwahhh, I can’t believe I talked to k-kumi this early in the morning!” Kanon whispered to herself.
“ahhhh, this feels like a dream!” She laid back into bed and as soon as she shut her eyes, she fell asleep.

-Ding dong- -ding dong-
“ennnn…” Kanon woke up when she heard the doorbell.
She went down the stairs and opened the door, still rubbing her eyes when the sunlight shone in.
“Morning~”
“…” kanon looked up to see who was the one at the door.
“A-ahh… K-kumi… eh? Why are you here?” kanon asked.
“hahaha! Did you check your phone? It’s already 8:15. School is about to start.” Kumi poked kanon’s forehead and smiled.
“Sleepyhead, go and prepare! We are heading to school now.”
“O-ok…” Kanon rubbed her forehead and blushed. The simple contact made her heart skipped.
“I-i will go prepare now please take a seat in the living room!” Kanon hurriedly ran up the stairs.
Kumi giggled and smiled at kanon’s cuteness before taking off her shoes and went into the living room.
-Kumi’s pov-
3 months ago, I arrived in school as usual and I was playing tennis with the club members. That was when I saw her. She was so cute and when she smiled, she looked like a small rabbit. Her dimples are so cute!
She was chatting with two other friends and her smile caught my attention. The way she jumped around when she got teased. The way she smiled with her dimples showing. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen in a person.
One day, when I was playing tennis with my friends as usual, I saw her looking out from the class window. She was looking at me! This was the first time she had took notice of me and when I realized that she was looking at me, my heart rate increased and I ran faster than usual. I wanted her to continue looking at me. I wanted her attention. I wanted to know her, befriend her. For that reasons, I played tennis with all my heart in order for her to continue looking my way.
This continued for 3 months and my feelings grew stronger. Then, it was finally that day. The day I saw her when I went to call yuka and rena to class. I finally found out her class and that she is yuka’s sister. She looked shock even though I don’t know why, but she was even cuter up close!
She is very shy and I am so glad that I could finally talk to her now. Her reactions are just so funny.
It was another morning, ever since I moved here; I had been trying to adjust to the life here. Now, I was living alone and I had to do everything on my own.
This morning, I was looking out my window after I woked up after hearing a shout. It was sometimes lonely living alone so I could not really sleep.
When I was about to go back into the room, I saw her. She was stretching and yawning cutely when the sun shone on her face. It was a joy being able to see her early in the morning. It was probably the best thing that I enjoyed while living alone.
I started talking to her and as usual, she is still shy around me. Her pink pajamas suits her to the T and she looked cuter and cuter every second. Maybe it was just my feelings growing stronger everyday.
She looked tired and from this, I know she is not an early person. That’s another thing that I know about her!
After texting her, she did not reply and my instinct told me that she fell asleep.
I chuckled to myself, imagining her cute sleeping face. I decided to wait for another hour before waking her up.
I knocked on her door when It was time and I just standing outside her door, my heartbeat started to increase. I was nervous. This was the first time at a friend’s house and when she opened the door, the small blush was so cute on her cute face.
She invited me into her house and ran upstairs to get ready. I am sitting here now, more nervous than usual as I looked around the house. Her house was warm and cozy. Just like the feeling that she gives me.
“S-sorry to keep you waiting.”
I turned around to see kanon all ready for school. Her small voice when she talks to me is really cute! Now I know why jurina and churi teases her all the time. Her reactions to teases are unbearably cute!
End of Kumi’s pov.
“Oh, let’s go kanon~” kumi stood up from the couch and walked behind kanon.
“ah wait kanon!” Kumi suddenly said.
“??” kanon looked around, confused.
“Your ribbon is not tied properly.” Kumi said as she moved closer to kanon and tied the ribbon for her.
“T-t-thank you…” Kanon lowered her head to hide the blush. She could hear her own heartbeat. She closed her eyes, hoping that kumi would not hear her heartbeat.
“all done, lets go” Kumi smiled another kind smile and walked ahead.
“Uwahhh! That close distance almost got to me! I almost couldn't control my heart!” kumi thought as she walked in front with a huge blush on her face.
“haaa… she is kind just like I thought she is…” kanon thought. She clutched her bag tighter and locked the door.
The walk to the train station was quiet as the two enjoyed the breeze.
The train was crowded and they were being squeezed into a corner.
“S-sorry!” kanon said as she accidentally stepped on kumi’s shoes.
“I-it’s ok. Wow it's so crowded everyday!” Kumi whispered.
“Y-yea…” kanon blushed because she was half leaning on kumi. Her heartbeat increased again.
The train suddenly jerked and kanon bumped into kumi. She was now in kumi’s arms as more people squeezed into the train.
Kanon’s eyes widened when she felt something soft. She felt warm and fuzzy.
“S-sorry…” Kanon was lying on kumi’s chest because of her height and now her face was fully flushed and she stiffened.
“N-no problem…” Kumi looked down to see kanon’s face on her chest. She secretly enjoyed the moment.
The two stayed like this for a while before a crowd finally moved out of the train.
They separated and the rest of the trip was in silence. Neither of them talked as they were thinking of the moment that lasted for a few minutes.

Chapter 5
After the heart thumping and several warm and fuzzy moments, the two finally reached school.
“I’m going to class now, see you later… kanon~” kumi smiled a charming smile while opening her locker.
“… eh…” Kumi saw a letter in her locker.
“What’s this.” She flipped the letter around and there was nothing except for a small stamp.
“hmm…” Kumi decided to keep it in her bag and look at it after class.
Kanon peeked at kumi from her locker and saw the letter in kumi’s hand.
“…” Kanon wondered whom the letter was from.
The two bid farewell and went to their respective classes.
“kumi…” A mysterious figure peeked out from behind the locker as she whispered kumi’s name.

“…” Kumi had reached the classroom and she wasn't talking like she usually would.
“Hey wassup.” Yuka tapped kumi’s shoulder.
“Yea what happened kumi? You haven’t talked since you came into class.” Rena said while munching on a melon pan.
“Can I have a melon pan?” Yuka asked rena.
“Sure here.” Rena grabbed one from her school bag and gave it to yuka.
“haaaa…” Kumi laid her head on the table.
“hey what’s troubling you?” Yuka patted kumi’s back.
Kumi looked up as yuka and rena sat down.
“I…” Kumi was about to speak up when the teacher came into class.
“Ah, I’m gonna check on you later at lunch.” Yuka said as she went back to her seat.
Rena pushed her chair back to the table beside kumi and forgot that she was still chewing on her melon pan.
“Ahem. Rena, please keep your melon pan. The class is starting soon.” The teacher coughed and wrote something on the blackboard.
“Sorry, I was lost in the heavenly taste of it.” Rena said jokingly and kept her melon pan.
The comment made everyone in the class laugh as rena mischievously smiled and looked at kumi who smiled back.

Lunch at kumi’s class room
Lunch came as fast as lighting and yuka and rena once again gathered at kumi’s table.
“Ahem, so, what’s wrong?” rena said as she once again began chewing on her half eaten melon pan.
“Haa… I… received this letter this morning. It was in my locker.” Kumi said as she pulled out the letter from her bag.
“What?! You mean you got a love letter?!” Yuka said as she looked at the letter in kumi’s hand.
“N-no I’m not sure if this is even a love letter. Who knows, it may be a challenge letter hahaha” kumi laughed as she looked at the letter again.
“hey open it open it!” Yuka said excitedly.
Rena was munching on her melon pan and when she saw the letter in kumi’s hand, she suddenly shouted.
“Kumi!”
“E-eh?!” Kumi jumped up in shock.
“I forgot to tell you that this letter was put in my locker by accident. It seems to be for you. Here.” Rena passed the letter to kumi after rummaging around her bag.
“What?! Another letter?!” Kumi sighed as she looked wide-eyed at both the letters.
“Ok! Now! I am really curious! Open it open it!” Yuka said as she shaked kumi.
“ok ok! Erm… I should open this first.” Kumi said as she picked up the one that rena gave her.
Kumi took a deep breath as she slowly opened the letter. The three gulped.
“so… what does it say?” Yuka said as she stared at kumi’s face.
“err… it says…” Kumi stuttered a little.
“Oh come on!” Yuka couldn't contain her curiosity.

Senpai, ever since you helped me at the train station, I have always been thinking about you.
I am not really sure how to tell you face to face but I think I have fallen for you. Can you please meet me at the equipment room after school at 4pm?

“yea I agree with you” Rena said.
“so are you going to meet her?” Yuka said as she faced kumi.
Kumi was already shock by the fact that someone had gave her a love letter and now, she had to make the decision whether to see her or not.
“I will see her… she was courageous enough to write a letter to me I have to meet her…” Kumi whispered another “even though I have someone I like…” and blushed a little when she thought of kanon.
“yea… I guess that's the way you will do things huh.” Rena took the last bite from her melon pan.
“Well that's settled now open the other letter!” Yuka said.
“o-ok…” kumi put the letter in her bag after she folded it and took the other letter.

“w-what is this…” Kumi said to yuka and rena.
“Wow… give her back to me? Give who back to who?” Yuka said as she looked at kumi.
“i… I don't know…” Kumi said and was thrown into confusion.
“Hmm… I think this person will write another letter back to you the next time. Don't think about it. Maybe it’s just a prank?” Rena said as she patted kumi. And looked at yuka.
“Yea, don't worry kumi. Besides, you have us!” yuka said and held rena and kumi’s hand.
“Y-you guys… Thank you…” Kumi said, close to tears.
“Hahaha! Don't be silly! We are best friends! You can rely on us anytime!” Yuka said and thumped her heart.
“hahaha!!” Rena laughed and gave a melon pan to kumi.
“Thanks!” Kumi gratefully accepted the melon pan and took a bite out of it.
“I really wonder where you keep all these melon pans” Yuka said in amazement.
“There, I have a bag just for melon pans” Rena picked up a bag and showed yuka.
“W-wow!” Yuka giggled at the bag that rena showed her. “You didn't have to buy a bag with melon pan design just to put melon pan in it Hahaha!!” Yuka laughed at the melon pan designed bag.
“Nope, I didn't buy it.” Rena said and put the bag down.
“Eh?! Then…” kumi watched in amusement.
“Yep, I got it for free after buying 20 melon pans from the melon pan shop hehehe” Rena hugged the melon pan bag.
The class started again and the three moved back to their seats.

Lunch at Kanon’s classroom.
Kanon was eating her riceball and talking to jurina and churi.
“Hey, can I ask you something?” Kanon asked.
“What is it?” Jurina took a bite out of the riceball that kanon made for her.
“have you two ever received love letters?” Kanon asked.
“Hmm, I haven’t.” Churi said.
“Errr… I… I have.” Jurina said and smiled as she scratched her head in embarrassment.
“Eh? J-jurina you are popular just as they said.” Kanon said, as she got more curious.
“Err, what did you do with those letters?” kanon asked.
“Well… I…” Jurina looked at churi who looked back at jurina and blushed.
“Hahaha… I took churi with me and … and said that she is my girlfriend so people will give up on me.” Jurina blushed as she ate her riceball.
“E-eh, g-girlfriend…” Kanon’s face flushed as she thought about kumi.
“…” Nobody spoke as they were all blushing.
“so kumi will respond to the letters then…” Kanon thought to herself.
Kanon felt a short pain in her heart when she thought about kumi meeting up with the other girl and going out with her.
“what’s this…” Kanon thought again, “this short pain… am I really in love with kumi?” Kanon blushed at the thought of kumi’s face and what happened in the train.
Just as she was thinking, jurina tapped kanon on her shoulder and she jumped up a little.
“the teacher is here.” Jurina pointed at the teacher who was walking in.
“T-thanks” Kumi smiled and thanked jurina for telling her that the teacher was here.

Back to kumi’s classroom. After class.
“Heyyyy kuumiii!!” Yuka ran towards kumi’s table and tapped kumi’s shoulder repeatedly for fun.
“Hey hey yuka you are too excited hahah!” Rena stopped yuka before kumi’s shoulder got bruised.
“Sorry sorry hahah!”yuka stepped back and looked at kumi.
“Err, i…” Kumi thought for a while before continuing.
“Yea I should be going to the equipment room now…” kumi said and grabbed her bag as she head out of the classroom.
“Kumi!” Yuka and rena called out.
“Ganbatte!” They made a peace sign as a symbol of giving courage to kumi.
“Thanks!” kumi gave a peace sign too.
After kumi left, rena and yuka decided to look for their sisters at their classroom.
“Let’s go~” Rena said.
“ok” Yuka said as she grabbed her bag too.

Kumi was walking down the hallway and she thought about it. She went down the stairs and just as she was about to walk around the corridor, she bumped into someone.
“Wahh!” Kumi stepped back.
“Wahh! O-ouch” the person fell to the ground.
“S-sorry!!” Kumi reached out her hand to the person.
“I-it’s okay…” The person grabbed kumi’s hand and stood up.
“Are you okay?” kumi asked, worried.
“I’m oka- Kumi?!” Kanon said in surprise.
“K-kanon?!” Kumi said in surprised, her hand still holding on to kanon’s.
“W-what are you doing here?” Kumi asked.
“I just came back from the toilet and I was about to go take my bag…” Kanon said and looked at the hand that kumi was holding.
“O-oh…” kumi was speechless around kanon as her memory flew towards this morning, the moment in the train flashed across her mind.
“Are you going home now?” Kanon asked when she saw kumi with her bag.
“Err…” Kumi couldn't tell her the truth. She was afraid that kanon will be sad even though she didn't know if kanon likes her or not.
“Err, n-no I’m err… meeting my family for dinner…”Kumi eyes blinked faster than usual and kanon found it weird that kumi was blinking so much.
“W-well i-I gotta go now!” Kumi dashed out of kanon’s sight and left a stunned kanon behind.
“… kumi is weird today… is it because of the l-letter?” Kanon hung her head down and thought about it for a few seconds.
“…” Kanon decided to follow kumi to see what kumi was going to do.

“Hey anybody seen kanon around?” Churi asked.
“She went to the toilet right? But it’s been quite a long time since she had gone to the toilet…” Jurina said as she looked at churi.
“let's go find her, bring her bag along.” Churi said as she grabbed kanon’s bag and went out of the classroom with jurina.
They bumped into rena and yuka on the way to the toilet.
“Wow wow slow down, where are you guy’s going in a rush?” Yuka said.
“Kanon has been gone for a long time and we decided to look for her in the toilet.” Churi said.
“eh? Kanon? I saw her with kumi a little while ago though.” Rena said.
“wait… with kumi? But wasn't kumi going to meet that k.y girl?” yuka said as she looked at rena and rena just shrugged.
“Eh? what k.y girl?” jurina asked in curiousity.
“She received a love letter this morning and went to meet the girl just now.” Rena said.
“Eh?!!! Kumi received a love letter?! WOW!” Churi said in excitement.
“So that;s why kanon asked about love letters just now?” jurina said as she tapped her chin.
“Wait! Let’s think about it, kanon has been looking out the window and… Kumi was playing tennis at the tennis court and… Kanon likes kumi!” Churi shouted.
“Argh! We should have figured it out sooner!” Jurina said as she looked at rena and yuka.
“We should go find kanon now! She is shy with her feelings and this is probably the first time she has ever like anyone! We can’t let her get hurt! We have to stop her from seeing kumi reject the girl!” Rena said.
“Yea we must go find kumi too!” Yuka said.
“eh?! How did you know kumi will reject the girl?!” Jurina asked.
“Cause she is in love with kanon too!” Yuka said.
“EH?!!! H-how?!” Churi asked again.
“Kumi had been texting kanon everyday ever since she got her number and to be honest, I saw her looking at kanon since the first day we met. Her eyes would fall on kanon’s back whenever she walked behind her.” Rena said.
“W-wow, what a discovery… they are in love with each other but they themselves do not know about it…” Churi said as she peeked at jurina.
“Well anyway! Let’s go! We have to find them now!” Jurina said.
“They are at the equipment room! Let’s go now!” Rena and yuka said.
The four rushed towards the equipment room and it was almost raining. The sky was dark and dark clouds had gathered.
“There! The equipment room! Let’s go!” Churi said.
“Wait! Someone’s there!” Jurina stopped churi as she saw a person sitting by the tree opposite far side of the equipment room.
“I-is that…” Yuka ran towards the figure and true enough, it was kanon.
“Non-chan?” Yuka slowly approached kanon.
“Non-chan?... What happened?” Yuka said as she kneeled down beside kanon.
Kanon had her head hidden between her knees and she was crying.
“N-non-chan…” Yuka said in a whisper.
“Yuka! Is that kanon?! W-what happened?!” Rena said as she rushed over with jurina and churi.
“…” Yuka didn't answer but just looked up at the rest.
“kanon…” Jurina and churi said in a soft voice.
“…” Rena could only watch as the petite girl cried.
The weather did not help with the mood to cheer someone up because dark clouds were gathering and a storm had arrived.
Soon, droplets fell from the dark sky and it started pouring.
“… non-chan?” Yuka slowly touched kanon’s head and stroke it.
“...”
Yuka could feel kanon trembling even with just that simple stroke.
“Non-chan…” Yuka called again. This time, kanon finally looked up.
“Hic* Sob* Huk*Sniff*”
The sight of kanon crying made the group freeze and they felt extremely sad. Rain was pouring and they were all drenched. Kanon was still sitting at the same spot and her face was filled with rain and tears.
“non-cha-“ Yuka did not finish her sentence and kanon kneeled up and hugged yuka tightly.
“HiC* UWAHHHHH!!!! UUUUUWWWWWAHHH!! * sOB * Huk* Uwaa, Yu-HIC* Yuka-nee!!! Sniff* Hic* UWAHHH!H!!AUAUUAAHW!!!” The cry of kanon filled the dark air and everyone was speechless. The kanon who never cried even though she was filled with troubles months ago, was now in tears. This was the first time the group had seen kanon cry and it broke their hard to see the small, cute, cheerful non-chan to be crying. The blank look that kanon had on her face as she cried was the face of despair and sadness. They didn't know what happened but they knew it was something to do with kumi and that k.y girl. What did kanon see? What exactly happened in the equipment room? They all had the same questions in their mind.

“Non-chan… let's go home…” Yuka kneeled in front of kanon and stroked her head before carrying kanon by piggy backing her.
Somewhere far from the group, kumi could feel a sharp pain in her heart and she felt extremely sad.
“W-what was that…” She held her chest and wondered but brushed away the feelings in her heart when she filled her mind with happy thoughts about kanon.
“Now, its time I tell kanon that I love her…I…I need her smile. I want her smile. I will make her smile everyday.” Kumi thought about how to confess as she smiled happily and blushed at the thought of kanon.

Hi all! The other fanfic that is still on-going will be continued after i finish this kuminon fanfic because i want to focus on this first hehe. Chapter 6 will be coming soon in 2 days! Chapter 6
Kanon was now at home with yuka and she was wrapped up warmly in a blanket.
“Here, drink some hot chocolate.” Yuka gave kanon a warm cup.
“Thank you…” kanon took a sip out of the cup.
“It’s warm…” Kanon said in a whisper as a tear threatened to fall from her face.
“Non-chan, can you tell me what happened?” Yuka asked.
“…”
“I promised to protect you and I don’t intend to break that promise. Please tell me kanon…” Yuka held kanon’s hand.
“Yuka-nee… i… I think I am in love… but, it hurt’s… this is the first time I have felt this way…” Kanon said very softly.
“… I know…” Yuka said.
Kanon looked up at yuka and was surprised that yuka knew that she was in love.
“H-how did you know?” Kanon asked in shock.
“We figured out that you like kumi. Is that her that you are in love with?” yuka said as she took the cup from kanon.
“…un…” Kanon nodded and blushed but a sorrowful look soon overtook her face when she recalled the scene that happened.
“…non-chan… What did you see? Please tell me why you are so upset. I will protect you.” Yuka said as she wrapped her arms around kanon.
“Yuka-nee… I…”
*Flashback* Kanon POV
I was walking back to class to get my bag when I bumped into kumi on the way. She seemed fidgety when she saw me and rushed out from my sight. I wonder why she was so fidgety with me… To be honest, My heart flinched a bit in pain because this is the first time kumi had ignored me.
Thinking back to this morning, I knew that it must be something to do with that letter that kumi received. I had a weird feeling, a feeling that I don’t want kumi to meet that girl…
Therefore, I ended up following kumi. She walked fast and she was heading towards the equipment room.
Could it be a junior in her tennis club? I sighed a small sigh and continued following kumi.
I was right, she went into the equipment room and I hid below the window so that I could get a clear view on what was happening.
That was weird; there was no one in the equipment room. I peeked over the window slowly and kumi was pacing around the room.
Ah! She took something out from her bag. It was that letter! I was right! It really was about that letter that kumi came here for.
Why did she take out the letter so suddenly?! Oh… someone was walking into the equipment store!
“Y-yagami senpai…” That girl who just walked in said as she lowered her head and I could see the blush on her face.
“E-erm a-are you K.Y?” Kumi stuttered a little. Why did she stutter! She must be nervous… Why is she nervous!! Questions were running through my mind.
“…” The girl nodded her head but did not reply.
“O-oh, y-you wanted to talk…?” Kumi was rubbing her hands as she showed the letter to that girl.
“Y-yes…” K.y spoked.
“e-erm… what is your name? I think it’s rude of me to just call you K.Y” Kumi said and scratched her head. Is this the first time she has been approached by a girl? She was so nervous… W-well, I am nervous around her too…
“M-my name is kizaki yuria…,Y-yagami senpai…”
So her name is Kizaki yuria… She is a very cute girl… Even cuter than me… I don't see any reason why kumi would reject this girl…
I felt the pain in my heart again. The thought of kumi getting together with another girl made my heart ache.
I looked away from the window for a moment because I didn't want to see that nervous look that kumi has now.
This wasn't right… I am not suppose to peek at someone’s confession…
Even though I said that, I couldn't help it but peeked through the window again.
“S-so kizaki-san… w-what did you want to talk about?” Kumi stuttered again.
“Y-yagami senpai… I”
“Please just call me kumi. It feels weird hearing someone calling me senpai haha” Kumi managed to swallow her nervousness and smiled coolly at yuria.
“H-hai, K…Kumi.” Yuria blushed even harder.
She is really very cute… I can’t be compared to her… Even though jurina and churi always told me how cute I was, I didn't really feel that I was that cute. I was not satisfied with myself.
Yuria was different. Her gestures, her shyness, the way she walks, that way she speaks, her voice, it was all cuter than me and I believe that kumi would accept this relationship… I mean, who wouldn’t… Yuria is like an angel…
“K-kumi.” Yuria took a deep breath before continuing
I could see that kumi was listening attentively. She was really kind, just like I thought she is. The kumi that I love… Now, she was facing another girl… not me…
The atmosphere in the room was heating up because of the awkwardness between the two. I could feel it even from here.
“K-kumi, I… I LIKE YOU!” Yuria shouted suddenly and kumi skipped a bit.
“E-eh?” kumi was shocked, her expression, her big eyes that widened, her mouth slightly opened up and she stepped 2 stepped backwards.
“I… Ever since you helped me when I was in need, I fell in love with you. You are the one I always think about and when I saw you I made up my mind to confess to you…”
…She is not only cute she is courageous too… I don't have the courage to tell kumi that I love her… I have never felt this sad before… it’s all my own fault that kumi is meeting up with this girl…
I couldn't bear to see this any longer…
The overwhelming feeling that I have when I see kumi in the equipment room getting all tense up and nervous because of another girl… I can’t stand it.
“I… I came here to meet you because I felt like you were courageous enough to write me this letter therefore, I should come meet you to tell you that…”
Eh? Kumi said something? I didn't hear it… I was preoccupied with my own thoughts. The next thing I knew, I heard a loud thump.
“Ahh!”
W-what happened?!
I was surprised by the loud sound.
The next thing I knew when I snapped out of the shock, kumi was lying on top of yuria…
My heart hurt so much that I started running. I felt something hot and warm running down my cheeks. Why kumi… Why were you on top of her… I guess, she accepted her as her girlfriend…
I couldn't get the negative thoughts out of my mind. I just couldn’t…

End Flashback and pov
“…nee-chan…” Kanon was asleep while wrapped in the warm blanket and her heartbreaking memories.
“Just sleep kanon, it will be ok tomorrow…” Yuka gave a small smile before patting kanon’s head and headed to her own room after washing the cup. She was sure kumi would never let kanon down. Kumi wasn't that sort of person who would play around.
The next morning.
“…un… kumi…” Kanon slowly opened her eyes to the morning sun.
“… kumi…” Kanon felt the familiar heat rising to her cheeks when she murmured kumi’s name. However, it was filleld with sadness this time.
Kanon stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself. She felt that everything was her fault. She witnessed the scene. Kumi was on top of another girl…
Kanon took one last look at the mirror and decided to try and forget kumi. However, the moment she took a step to the window, faces of kumi filled her head.
“… I can’t forget…” Kanon cupped her face with both her hands and let out a deep sigh.
She decided not to open the curtain in case kumi was there. She was not prepared to face kumi yet.
She went to school earlier so that she could avoid kumi. They were in different classes so she wouldn't have to see kumi. Not unless kumi went looking for kanon.
The ride on the train triggered her memories with kumi and kanon just stared into space, trying her best to clear her mind.
Kanon reached school earlier than usual and was in the classroom alone. She laid her head on the table and took a short nap.
Not long after she fell asleep, kumi appeared at kanon’s classroom. She found it weird that kanon would not reply her texts and that she had went to school without her. She wanted to ask kanon about it and here she was, outside kanon’s classroom.
Just as she was about to step into the classroom, a mysterious girl with long curly hair and a sweet smile walked passed kumi and whispered: “return her to me.”
Kumi spun around as soon as she felt someone brushed past her but the person was gone in a flash.
“… What was that…” Kumi felt a chill ran down her spine.
“Kumi, what are you doing here?”
Kumi turned to the voice and saw jurina and churi standing behind her.
“Ah! Jurina, churi, I came to speak to kanon.” Kumi pointed at the petite girl who was sleeping.
“Kumi… I don't think now is the best time to talk with her…” Jurina looked at churi and churi nodded.
“W-why…?” Kumi could sense the seriousness in their tone.
“B-because… class is starting soon! K, bye!” Jurina pulled churi and dragged her into class.
“… “ Kumi was not having a good day today. Why did they treat her so coldly today? And that mysterious girl… who is she?!
Kumi took her time to get back to class and thought about various things.
“Rena! Yuka!” Kumi walked into class and greeted them.
“… morning…” Yuka and rena said in a soft voice and looked at kumi with a serious look.
“… Er, is there something on my face?” Kumi was clueless about what had happened.
“kumi, we want to ask you something.” Yuka said seriously.
“Go ahead and ask me anything.” Kumi said.
“Yesterday… What happened yesterday after you met up with that K.Y girl?” yuka looked serious.
“E-er…”
“What exactly happened?!” yuka asked again.
“Yesterday, I reached the equipment room and waited for awhile. That girl’s name is kizaki yuria. Apparently I had saved her once which I don't remember I did… and she confessed to me.” Kumi said.
“That’s all?” Rena asked. This time, without her melon pan.
“What do you mean?” Kumi asked with a confused look.
“what happened after the confession?” Rena said.
“I told her that I had someone else that I liked and she accepted that.” Kumi said.
“Then why were you on top of her?” Yuka asked.
“H-how did you know!” Kumi’s eyes widened.
“… Kanon saw everything…” Yuka shook her head.
“K-kanon what?! Nothing happened between me and yuria! I swear!” Kumi was shocked and tried to clear her name.
“I know that! But kanon saw everything with her own eyes! She cried the whole night! I cant let her stay like this! You better explain yourself to her!” Yuka half shouted at kumi.
“I-Is that the reason why she didn't reply my text’s and didn't wait for me to come to the school together?! I swear! I didn't do anything! We just fell when we were going out of the equipment room!” Kumi shook her hands.
“This is bad! I have to talk to kanon! Please yuka help me!” Kumi pleaded.
“I know kumi. That’s why I wanted to get the facts right before I help you. Kanon is my one and only precious sister and kin. I cant let anyone hurt her… please explain everything to her kumi…” Yuka tapped kumi;s shoulder and grip it.
“Of course! I won’t do anything to hurt kanon! Never!” kumi said in a hurt tone.
‘So… the pain I felt yesterday was kanon’s pain? She cried the whole night… She cried the whole night because of me… kanon…” Kumi could not concentrate at all in class and ended up spacing out for the rest of the class.
Class ended and yuka had texted jurina and churi. She had explained the situation to jurina and churi. They will lead kanon to the cross road where they will separate and when kanon is alone, yuka will pretend that she had something in school that she left behind and would ask kanon to wait for her at the station. Then kumi will go and talk to kanon.
“ok! Let’s do this. Kumi, please make her smile again.” Yuka said and gave a smile to kumi.
“I promise!” Kumi said with her smile too.
Kanon had walked to the station as usual with yuka and the group. The proceeded with the plan and kumi was waiting for kanon to be alone before she came out of her hiding. The time finally came.
“… Kanon.” Kumi called out to kanon.
“K-Ku-“ Not finishing her sentence, Kanon made a run for it. She ran as fast as she could.
“Kanon wait!” Kumi chased kanon with max speed.
“Don't follow me! Leave me alone!” Kanon Continued running.
“Kanon! Wait! Please let me explain! Kanon!” Kumi caught up with kanon after a few minutes and grabbed her wrist.
“Let go of me!” Kanon tried to pry open kumi’s hand so that she will loosen her grip but to no avail.
“Kanon! Please listen! Nothing happened between yuria and me! What you saw was an accident! We just fell and I landed on top of her! Please believe me kanon!” Kumi said in between breaths.
“You don't have to explain to me! I am just your friend! What you do with other girls is not my business! Let go! Why are you chasing me!” Kanon’s feelings finally burst out of control. Tears had started forming in her eyes again.
“Kanon! Listen! True, she confessed to me! But! I didn't accept her confession! Because there’s someone else that I like!” Kumi half shouted to get her voice across to kanon.
“I don't believe you… * Sob*” Tears had started to fall from kanon’s eyes. Her heart was hurting again and she could not hear what kumi had said.
“Kanon! Believe me! I clearly told her I have someone I like and I can’t accept her feelings because that someone is really special to me! No one can replace her!” Kumi said desperately, explaining it to kanon.
“It doesn't matter * Sob* We are just friends! Nothing more! You don't have to explain yourself to me! * Sob* “ Kanon was choking on her words.
“You wouldn't be crying if you didn't care… Kanon… I have to tell you this. There is nothing going on between yuria and me. The only one that has been in my heart all along is … you.” Kumi loosen her grip on kanon’s hand and a red mark could be seen because of the strong grip.
“W-wh, You are bluffing… you are saying this to make me believe you… * sob*” Kanon continued crying.
“Please believe kanon… don’t cry, it hurts me to see you cry… I like your smile. I love your smile.” Kumi hugged kanon gently and continued: ”Ever since I saw you, my eyes have been following you. The way you walk, the way you skip around when you are being teased, and it’s all in my memory, my heart. I couldn't stop thinking about you.”Kanon’s cries slowly subsided with that gentleness that kumi gave her.
“When I found out that you were yuka’s sister, I knew it was finally my chance to get to know you. If I miss it, I will regret it for life.” Kumi stroked kanon’s hair gently while hugging her.
“This is the first time I have felt this way, the need to make you smile, the heart to protect your smile, it has always been my wish to hug you like this. I can finally say it out. I love you, kimoto kanon. You are the only one that makes my heart skip like this. The only one who will light up my day with just a small yawn of yours. Everything about you makes me feel warm everyday. I love you! I love you!” kumi tightened her hug and felt kanon hug back.
“… * sob *” Kanon started crying again.
Kumi was startled because kanon was crying uncontrollably.
“D-don't cry kanon, I am here now, I swear I won’t meet another person again unless you are with me. I will tell them that you kimoto kanon is my girlfriend. Kanon, will you be my girlfriend?” Kumi pulled back from the hug to look at kanon’s face.
“D-don't look, I am ugly now” Kanon wiped her tears off her face.
“You are so cute even when you are crying hehe” Kumi pinched kanon’s nose.
“So, will you be my girlfriend?” Kumi said as she wiped the tears off kanon’s face.
“…un…” Kanon nodded with a blush. This day has finally come. Her dreams had finally come true.
“Non-chan~” Kumi said sweetly and looked into kanon’s eyes.
“..???...!!! “ Kumi surprised kanon with a kiss right on the lips.
kanon eyes widened at the soft touch from kumi’s lips. She closed her eyes after recovering from her shock and savored every moment of the kiss. Her first kiss from her first love.
Minutes passed and kumi finally parted from their kiss.
“Non-chan~” Kumi smiled happily and called kanon’s name.
“h-hai” kanon blushed and looked at the hands that kumi was holding.
“I won’t let go of you even if you want to run from me” Kumi smiled and gave another kiss to kanon.
“I won’t run, I won’t run away again.” Kanon smiled her dimpled smile and returned the kiss.
The new couple held hands and went back to the train station where yuka was watiting.
“I see you patched things up, and even better than before.” Yuka smiled sheepishly at the two.
“N-neechan,I am going out with kumi now.” Kanon couldn't believe that all this was real.
“Non-chan~ I knew this day would come. The two of you have been in love since a long time ago. It’s good that you finally realized your feelings.” Yuka patted kanon’s head.
“Nee-chan Thank you.” Kanon gave yuka a big hug.
“Oh by the way, kumi, someone left this at your desk after came to the station early today.” Yuka passed a letter to kumi.
“… another letter?” Kumi opened the letter.
“…”
“What does it say?”yuka asked.
“It’s the same person again. I have been getting some weird feeling that someone in class is looking at me. It may be this person. She may be in our class!” Kumi said.
“I wonder what she want’s from you.” Yuka looked at kumi and added: “tough to be popular huh, you even get haters HAHAHA”
“Hey! Stop joking! I am not popular at all…” Kumi looked at the letter again with a heavy feeling that something is going to happen and it is coming soon. Her grip on kanon’s hands tightened a little and she felt safer when kanon squeezed her hands back. With a smile, the three went back home.

Chapter 7 (part 1)
Another day started out bright and early with kanon still rolling in her bed, thinking about the day when kumi confessed to her.
“haaaaaa, I’m so lucky~” Kanon hugged her pillow close to her chest and sighed a blissful sigh.
“Non-chan! Non-chan!” A voice could be heard from the window.
“Kumi!” Kanons ears perked up as soon as she heard the voice of the person she was thinking about.
“Non-chan! Goodmorning~” Kumi was standing by the window as usual, greeting kanon with her bright smile.
“G-goodmorning~” kanon shyly spoke.
“Whats wrong?” Kumi said in concern when she saw kanon hung her head down.
“… wait there!” Kumi dashed out of her room, leaving a dumfounded kanon.
“eh? Where is she going…” Kanon wondered. Her question was answered when she heard a door opening from downstairs. Kanon was creeped out for a moment because yuka had gone out with her friends since it was a Saturday. There shouldn't be anyone home except for her. She worriedly looked at her own door and the window to see if kumi was back yet.
The door burst open and kanon skipped back.
“Non-chan! Are you okay?! What’s wrong?!”
“K-kumi?! What are you doing here?! I mean… how did you get my house key?!” Kanon was shocked and relieved at the same time to see kumi standing right in front of her.
“ah… ahahaha yuka passed me a spare key to your house ever since we started dating hehehe” Kumi rubbed her neck in embarrassment. She had forgotten to tell kanon that she has her house key. “A-anyway, are you okay?” Kumi changed the topic to hide her embarrassment.
“eh? Of course I am.” Kanon said in a confused voice.
“B-but you were looking down and your face was so red I thought you were not feeling well…” Kumi said as she took a closer look at kanon’s face.
“I-I’m really okay. I-it’s just, w-we are dating and w-when I see you in the morning, it’s so embarrassing because I will think of that k…kiss…” Kanon closed her eye shut as she felt the heat ran up her face.
Kumi smiled a small and gentle smile when she heard what kanon had said. She looked at kanon, who still had her eyes closed, and slowly reached out to touch kanon’s face.
“Non-chan~” Kumi lifted kanon’s face to look at her eyes and kanon blushed deeper.
Kumi looked at kanon’s red cheek and pinched it gently. She cupped both her hands on kanon’s cheek and slowly inched in towards kanon’s awaiting lips.
“en?!” Kanon, who was absorbed by kumi’s enchanting eyes, shivered at the contact of their lips. The kiss lasted a few minutes and this time, they kissed with more passion than the first shy kiss.
“haaa, kumin…” Kanon said as she catched her breath.
“Non-chan~ goodmorning~” Kumi gave another peck on kanon’s cheek.
“Morning~” Kanon replied, still dazed after that passionate kiss.
“Non-chan, go get ready” Kumi suddenly said.
“eh? Where are we going?” Kanon asked, snapping out of her daze.
“Hehehe, there’s someplace I want to show you~ and only you…” Kumi said as she held kanon’s hand gently.
“O-okay~” Kanon blushed and ran out of the room. However, a few seconds later, she came running back in and said: “Ehehe, I forgot this is my room.” Kanon blushed a deep red from embarrassment and grabbed her clothes from her cabinet and ran into the toilet. Kumi on the other hand was sitting at the desk the whole time, looking at kanon rushing around. She smiled as she thought about how cute kanon is.
Kumi looked around kanon’s room and it had the equal cuteness that kanon has.
Just as kumi was about to stand up from her seat, her phone rang.
Kumi saw the caller ID and it was her butler.
“Yes?” Kumi gave a simple answer.
“… No, tell them I will not accept that decision.” Kumi said calmly.
“I don't care! That’s all they ever think about! I am with a friend now, please don’t contact me about these things again.” Kumi half shouted as and hung up.
“…” She looked at her phone and sighed.
Kumi came from a complicated background. Her family is very well off but she doesn't get along with her Stepmother. After her father remarried, her stepmother wanted her out of the picture because she hates kumi’s mother.
Her butler had just called to tell her that her parents want her to meet a guy who is the son of their business client. This was another chance for kumi’s stepmother to get rid of her. Kumi had declined every single one of it and now that she has kanon, she was more determined to reject this meeting set by her parents.
Kumi looked at kanon’s desk and saw a picture of kanon and yuka. They looked very happy. Kumi realized that she have not taken a picture with kanon yet. She placed the picture to it’s original position when she heard the door to the toilet opening.
Kanon stood there smiling at kumi with her hair-dripping wet from the shower.
“non-chan~ Come here” kumi motioned for kanon.
Kumi guided kanon to sit down in on the bed and she took the hair dryer and started drying kanon’s hair.
“K-kumi?!” kanon was shocked at kumi’s action.
“Non-chan~ your hair is so soft~” Kumi smiled a soft smile as she continued drying kanon’s hair.
“T-thank you” Kanon blushed at the contact with kumi and sat there enjoying the soft touch that kumi is giving her.
Kumi started playing with kanon’s hair as kanon blushed deeper and enjoyed the moment. Soon, they were ready for their date.
“Ok, all set, let’s go!” Kumi said as she headed out of the house with kanon.
“Kumi! Where are we going today?” Kanon trotted behind and asked.
Kumi suddenly stopped in front of kanon and she turned around to face kanon before putting her fingers to her lips and said: “It’s a secret” and gave a mysterious smile.
Kanon once again blushed at the contact and looked at kumi’s hand. This didn't go un-noticed as kumi’s smile grew wider and placed a quick kiss on kanon’s cheek before holding kanon’s hand firmly in hers.
Kanon touched her cheeks slowly with her free hand and looked at her hand that was held lovingly by kumi. She felt the blood rush from her face to her hands in an instant and looked up to see kumi grinning.
They went to take a train to their destination which only kumi knows.
The train was crowded as usual and because kanon was short, people in the train easily surrounded her. Kumi saw how kanon was struggling everyday on the train so this time, she held kanon’s hand and walked into the train.
Kanon was confused to kumi’s action when kumi stepped in the train before her and pulled her into the train with her.
“Kumi?”
Kumi did not say anything but smile at kanon again.
The train door closed and the next moment made kanon blushed again for the nth time of the day. Kumi had blocked kanon from the crowd and stood between kanon and the crowd so that kanon would not be squeezed by anyone. Not only that, kumi had also pulled kanon closer into a hug as she held on to kanon’s hand.
Kanon could hear kumi’s heart beating faster and if she had looked up to see kumi’s face, she would be able to see kumi’s red face.
Kanon’s heart sped up and soon it was beating along with the rhythm of kumi’s heart.
“non-chan~ it’s gonna be quite a long trip, if you are tired then take a nap okay?” Kumi whispered to kanon and placed one side of her earpiece into kanon’s ear before adding:”btw, this is my favourite song hehe~” Still in a hug, kanon looked up to see kumi with her eyes closed.
She stared at the beautiful sleeping face in front of her for a few minutes before turning away when kumi suddenly opened her eyes and smiled at kanon.
“were you looking at me?” Kumi whispered to kanon and gave a grin.
“n-no…” Kanon denied.
“but, I saw you looking at me~” Kumi poked kanon’s cheek and gave a small laugh.
Kanon was speechless because she was caught looking at kumi and she could not deny it any longer.
“It’s okay~ you can look at me for as long as you like, in return,…” Kanon gave a small blush and waited for the rest of the sentence. The sentence came soon when kanon felt something heavy on her head followed by kumi’s voice: “lend me your head for awhile hehe” kumi chuckled.
“okay…” Kanon continued listening to the song and kumi was the one who ended up taking a nap.

Chapter 7 (Part 2)
Kumi woke up from her short nap to find kanon leaning on her and she knew that kanon was asleep with the weight that she felt. She brushed kanon;s hair to her side and looked at her face. Kanon nose twitched a little as a few strands of hair had tickled her nose. Kumi smiled a small smile and tightened her hug around kanon when she felt someone looking at kanon.
“Non-chan, non-chan, we are arriving soon.” Kumi poked kanon’s cheek and woke her up. Kanon blushed when she felt kumi hugging her tightly.
“D-did I fall asleep?” Kanon asked.
“Yea~ your sleeping face is so cute.” Kumi giggled when kanon face lite up.
“Oh, we are here, let’s go.” Kumi gave the man who was looking at them a glare and took kanon’s hand as they walk out of the train. The man immediately turned his attention to his book when kumi gave him that icy glare.
“Non-chan let’s go have our breakfast, I’m hungry~” Kumi took kanon to a café and they ate their breakfast there.
“What’s wrong? Is the food not to your liking?” Kumi asked kanon when she saw that kanon was just staring at her food.
“No, it’s just, this rabbit shape food is too cute. I can’t bear to eat it.” Kanon said as she looked at the food on her plate.
Kumi chuckled at kanon’s cuteness and she asked the waitress to change the plate of food for kanon.
“T-thank you, kuumin…” Kanon whispered.
“Eh? What did you say?” Kumi said as she moved closer to kanon.
“I-I said thank you…” Kanon said with a blush before continuing, “Kuumin…”
“hahahha, you’re welcome non-chan!” Kumi gave kanon a bright smile and patted her head.
They chatted about almost everything with kanon blushing now and then.
“Non-chan, after this, do you want to watch a movie?” Kumi asked.
“Eh? Sure!” Kanon eyes sparkled. It had been a long time since she went to watch a movie and she was excited to watch it.
“hahahaha, ok! Let’s watch after we finish the food! We will have a movie marathon! Hehehe” Kumi said as she took out 3 movie tickets.
“Eh?! You bought them already?” Kanon was surprised.
“heh Yea I saw you looking intently on the movie posters that were on the street so I bought 3 tickets so we could watch it together.” Kumi said.
“Thank you kuumin!!!” Kanon could not hide her happiness and she hugged kumi tightly. When she realized what she was doing, she released the hug but kumi pulled her back and said:”We are dating right now, so hug me all you want.” Kumi smiled and hugged kanon while kanon hugged back and thank kumi again.
Kanon had never felt so blessed and happy in her life. Yuka treated kanon like a princess but this feeling with kumi was different. Kumi was like her prince charming without the white horse but with many virtues.
Kumi was kind, friendly, loving and always smiling at kanon. Kanon felt like a real princess and felt safe when kumi was around. She had started from looking out the window to dating kumi and even though the wait was long, kanon was glad that she did not give up on kumi.
“kanon~ say ahhhh” Kumi had scooped a mouthful of food and brought it in front of kanon’s mouth.
“A-ahhh..” Kanon ate the spoonful of food and blushed as she buried her face into kumi’s hug.
“hahha~ come on non-chan eat your food, you are so cute!” Kumi tap kanon’s nose and smiled at her.
They ate their breakfast and went out of the restaurant.
“Non-chan, wait here for a while.” Kumi found a place for kanon to sit and ran off to somewhere.
Kumi’s POV
I have been getting this weird feeling that someone has been following me… It’s a familiar presence and I know exactly who it was. It must be her, again…
I left kanon and ran towards the direction, away from the presence that I had felt. Turning into a smaller road, I waited there.
Sure enough, after a few seconds, I saw her.
“Enough is enough.” I said as I came out of my hiding place.
“…” The person was too shock to speak.
“Why are you following me?” I said in a cold voice.
“… i-it's an order from mrs yagami.” she gulped.
“… Kanako, I don’t want to put you in a spot but… can you tell me the reason for following me?” i said as my voice softened.
“K-kumi-sama… mrs yagami had ordered her man to search for you and bring you back. She wants you to meet your fiancé.” Kanako said.
“Thank you for telling me kanako, but… I can’t go back. I… have someone important to me now…” i said as i thought of the smiling face of kanon.
“I know, kumi-sama. I saw how happy you were that was why I did not show myself in front of you and that girl.” Kanoko smiled.
“Kanako, you are my childhood friend, I don't want to put you in a spot. Please, give me a little more time, I have to do something before I go back with you.” i said as i grabbed kanako’s hand.
“K-kumi-sama…” Kanako blushed a small blush, which went unnoticed by kumi.
“Kanako, please…” I said in a gentle and pleading voice.
“… Okay, I will give you 5 more days, that’s as long as I can keep your location safe.” Kanako gripped my hand for the last time and ran off.
“… thank you …” I watched as kanako’s petite frame ran towards the crowd and disappeared.
“haaa… 5 more days huh… I will have to tell her, before it’s too late…” I said as a sharp pain filled my heart when i thought of the separation with kanon.
I ran back towards kanon and collected the ring that I had ordered for kanon and me.
End of kumi’s POV.
Kumi ran back as fast as she could to kanon and saw kanon listening to music on the seat.
Kanon’s face lit up when she saw kumi. She jumped on her feet and ran towards kumi.
“Sorry! I’m Back!” Kumi panted from the running as she hugged kanon.
“Kuumin! It’s ok~” Kanon hugged kumi in a tight hug.
“ehhh, someone missed me? Hehehe” Kumi teased kanon when kanon hugged her tightly.
“a-a little…it’s lonely without you…” Kanon looked up to see kumi grinning and she blushed.
“Come on, let’s go, we have 3 movies to catch.” Kumi pulled away from the hug and replaces the warmth by holding kanon’s hand but before that, she couldn’t resist kanon’s cuteness and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. Kanon clung on kumi’s arm as they went towards the cinema.
They reached the cinema and there were a lot of people.
“Non-chan, don’t let go ok?” Kumi smiled and kanon and grabbed kanon’s hand as she dashed through the crowd with kanon following closely behind.
“haaaa~ hahahah!! That was fun!” Kumi said as she looked at kanon who was laughing too.
“Hahaha! Non-chan! Your hair.” Kumi reached out to touch kanon’s hair.
“ok, all done. Let’s go!” Kumi took out the tickets and they went into the cinema.
“kuumin thank you~” Kanon blushed and touched her the spot where kumi had touched.
“Welcome~” Kumi pinched kanon’s cheek as they sat down at their seats.
“non-chan, are you cold?” Kumi asked when she felt kanon shiver a little.
“en, a little.” Kanon cupped her hands together to keep herself warm.
“hahah~ come here.” Kumi pulled kanon into a hug. Kanon’s head was resting on kumi’s chest and kumi had kanon wrapped tightly in her arms.
Kanon’s heartbeat increased and she blushed as she heard kumi’s heartbeat increased too.
She looked up to peek at kumi and smiled slightly when she thought of the happy moment that she was having. They were sitting in a couple seat therefore their distance was closer than normal.
They watched the movie quietly, enjoying the moment they had.

(AFTER THE 1st MOVIE)
“uwaaahhhh~ the movie was awesome!! Non-chan! You have a good taste for movies!” Kumi said as she smiled brightly.
“I-I just found it interesting, hahah~” Kanon smiled shyly.
“The characters in the movie were just so awesome! The ending of the two main character’s was beautiful!” Kumi said as she looked at kanon with a slightly sad face and whispered: “I hope we will have a good ending too…”
“eh?” Kanon asked.
“No, it’s nothing~ let’s go catch the second movie~” Kumi smiled a small smile and went towards the entrance with kanon.
The two were walking hand in hand towards the movie entrance and they heard someone called their name.
“Kumi-senpai?”
Kumi turned around to see yuria standing there with another girl.
“Yuria?! Are you watching a movie too?”
Kumi walked towards the pair.
“Yea we are here to watch that show. Er…”
Yuria looked at kanon.
“This is kanon. My girlfriend.” Kumi said as she introduced her to yuria.
“N-nice to meet you…” Kanon held on to kumi’s hand.
“I am yuria… we had a small misunderstanding before but… I am over kumi-senpai so don’t worry about it.” Yuria reached out her hand for a handshake.
Kanon felt that yuria was a nice girl and she replied her with a handshake and a smile.
“And this is?” Kumi said as she looked at the girl standing beside yuria.
“Oh, let me introduce.” Yuria clung her arm around the girl beside her and said: “She is Shimazaki Haruka. We call her paruru.” Yuria smiled at paruru and looked at kumi.
Paruru gave a sweet smile when she looked at yuria. Kumi could tell that paruru was in love with yuria.
Kumi could feel paruru looking at her with a little dark aura and she stared back in curiosity.

Chapter 8 part 1
The movie had ended and both pairs walked out of the cinema.
“uwaaaa~That was nice~” kumi stretched.
“So, where are you heading next?” kumi turned and asked yuria.
“I guess we will go eat something before going home. Right?” Yuria looked at paru and smiled.
Paru gave a small smile and nodded.
“Oh, hmm, non-chan, are you hungry?” Kumi asked kanon as she took her hand in hers.
“A-a little,” kanon blushed as she felt the warmth of kumi’s hand.
“Let’s eat together?” kumi asked as she glanced at the group.
“Sounds good~” Yuria smiled and kumi peeked at paru to see her smiling a small smile when she saw yuria’s smile.
“All right! Let’s go!” Kumi punched her fist in the air and laughed.
Kanon giggled and was pulled along by kumi.
Yuria linked her hands with paru and paru blushed.
The group reached the restaurant and started ordering the food.
“Paruu~ what are you eating?” Yuri peeked over at the menu that paru was holding. Paru was shocked by the closeness and jumped a bit from her sit.
Yuria giggled at the strong reaction that paru gave and tapped her on the shoulder.
Paru continued looking at her menu and finally made a decision.
“I will get this.” Paru pointed to a baked rice.
“Ehhhhhh~ that looks nice but I think I will have a curry rice hahaha~” yuria smiled and tapped on the menu.
Kumi felt someone looking at her and she glanced over her menu to see paru averting her eyes.
“…” Kumi gave paru a look and stood up.
“Be right back, I’m going to the toilet.” Kumi patted kanon’s head and walked off.
After a few minutes, paru stood up too and walked to the toilet.
IN THE TOILET
“So, do you hate me?” Kumi suddenly said when they were washing their hands.
“…” paru didn't say anything.
“I saw the glanced that u gave me… to be honest, it’s… kind of scary.” Kumi said as she gave an awkward grin and rubbed the back of her neck.
“…” paru still remained silent.
“… do you like yuria?” Kumi finally asked.
Upon hearing that, paru looked at kumi with a shocked look and looked into the mirror.
“… Yes…I like her…” Paru said.
“I could see that glint in your eyes whenever you look at her you know. … … You should confess to her.” Kumi said.
“Eh? …” paru looked at kumi.
Kumi stood up straight and faced paru.
“I know that those letters in my locker were sent by you.” Kumi said.
Paru stood up and was now facing kumi.
“I…” Paru said.
“No, it’s ok, if anybody were to confess to kanon, I will probably do that too hahahha~” kumi laughed and paru gave a small smile.
“You know, you should really speak more. Smile more. Your feelings will definitely reach yuria. She is a nice girl.” Kumi said as she patted paru on her shoulder.
“Actually…” paru said as she blushed.
“I wanted to confess to her today…” paru said as she looked at her own hands.
“ehhh?!!! That’s good! I wish the best for you!” kumi said as her face lit up.
“But…” Paru blushed again and inhaled.
“but?” kumi asked in curiosity.
“I-It’s not the right moment yet, and I haven’t bought a gift for her.” Paru said.
“hmm, that’s not a problem, let’s go to the amusement park later! That will definitely be a good place for a confession!” Kumi said as she once again tapped paru’s shoulder.
“Kumi… Thank you…” Paru said as she smiled.
“You’re Welcome!” Kumi smiled.
Both of them walked out and went back to the table.
“Hey! Let’s go to the amusement park later!” Kumi said.
“EHH!! Sounds fun!!!” yuria said as she smiled.
“Non-chan how about it?” Kumi looked at kanon.
“It sounds fun!” Kanon said as she felt a hug by kumi.
They finished their food happily and headed for the amusement park.
“uwaaaaa! I want to sit on the ferries wheel!” Kanon said as she tugged on kumi’s sleeves.
“ok~ hahaha, non-chan is really like a kid!” Kumi said as she pinched kanon’s cheek.
“yuria, do you want to sit on the ferris wheel to?” paru said when she saw yuria’s happy face.
“yes yes!! I want to!” Yuria clapped her hands together.
“Let’s go then.” Paru grabbed yuria’s hand and followed kumi.
Paru’s movement shocked Yuria and a small blush crept on her face.
Paru had never been the one to initiate things and when she grabbed yuria’s hand, yuria was truly shocked.
Paru lead yuria into a cabin and they sat there facing each other. An awkward silent filled the air.
“err… W-wow the view is nicee! ….” Yuria tried to increase the mood but failed when the awkwardness increased.
“Y-yuria…” Paru suddenly said.
“Y-yes?” Yuria looked at paru with her big eyes and her cute expression.
“I-i…” Paru inhaled before continuing.
“I-I like you!” Paru said as she looked up to see yuria’s shock face.
“Ehhh?!” Yuria said as she sat down on the seat, thinking about what paru had just said.

CHAPTER 8 PART 2
Yuria and paru was still in the cabin with an even awkward moment when paru confessed.
“Argh! I shouldn't have confess now… the enclosed space is making things even awkward then before!” Paru thought to herself as she closed her eyes.
“Y-you don't need to give me an answer now. I will wait for you.” Paru said as she looked at yuria before looking out the window.
“paru…” Yuria said as she looked at paru.
Yuria’s pov
My best friend just confessed to me.
Shimazaki haruka, we call her paru. I met her when I was in kindergarten. When I was young, the kids always bullied me because I had a chubby cheek.
This all changed when paru transferred to my school. She was a quiet person and she does not show her feelings easily.
One day, as usual, I was being bullied at the playground and paru happened to pass by. That was the first time I saw paru so angry. She rushed to my side and protected me. She hit the bigger guys and won. That was the first time I felt that I could rely on someone.
After that incident, I became very close to paru and we were always together.
This confession came so suddenly and I don't know how to react. This was all so new to me.
My mind flashed back to all the events that happened and the small things that paru did for me. Now, it all made sense to me.
End Of Yuria’s POV
“Paru, i-I like you too.” Yuria looked at paru.
“R-really?!!” Paru’s face lit up.
“You have always been there for me, always looked out for me. I didn’t realize my feelings but I think I like you too.” Yuria said as she smiled and took paru’s hand.
“Yuria…” Paru had a blushed on her face and her heart rate increased. Tears were threatening to fall but she held it back and hugged yuria.
“ehe~Paru, Daisuki!” Yuria said as she gave a cute smile.

The ride ended and Kumi knew that paru had confessed when she saw the linked arms of paru and yuria. She smiled at paru and paru smiled and nodded at her.
“It’s getting late, I guess we should all head home now” Yuria said as she looked at the sky.
“wow, you’re right! Come on non-chan, we have somewhere else to go.” Kumi said as she grabbed kanon’s hand.
“We’ll see you when school starts!” Kumi shouted and went off with kanon.
“Kuu-chan~ where are we going?” Kanon said as she looked at kumi.
“ehe~ the place is quite near to here. You will know when we get there~” Kumi said as she gave a wink to kanon and continued leading kanon to the secret place.
The two of them walked a short distance from the amusement park and kumi suddenly turned around to face kanon.
“Non-chan, I will give you a piggy back from here!” Kumi said as she squat down in front of kanon.
“E-EH?! T-this is too embarrassing!” kanon said and was reluctant to let kumi give her a piggyback.
“Comee on~ non-chan~” Kumi gave a cute pout and kanon carefully put her hands around kumi.
“Yosh~Let’s go~” Kumi stood up with kanon on her back and started to climb the up a flight of stairs.
“k-kuu-chan am I heavy?!” Kanon said as she felt kumi staggering after a number of steps.
“heh~ not at all haa,” Kumi said as she exhaled.
Kanon tightened her hug around kumi and blushed. She didn't need to say anything more because kumi made her feel safe and she knew kumi was tired because she could feel kumi’s heart rate increasing and she was breathing deeper.
“non-chan, we are reaching soon!” Kumi said as she excitedly ran up the last flight of stairs.
“K-kuumin! Be careful!” kanon said worriedly.
“Hahahha! We are here!!” Kumi said as she let kanon down.
“haaa~Yoshh!!! Come on non-chan.” Kumi took kanon’s hand after taking in some air.
Kanon shivered a little because of the cool breeze blowing on her. Kumi had sensed the shiver and she put kanon’s hand into her pockets to keep it warm.
“hehe~ now you will feel warmer~” Kumi said as she snuggled closer to kanon.
“thank you kuumin~” Kanon said as sshe snuggled closer to kumi too.
The two walked for another 5mins and they finally reached the destination.
“Non-chan~ we are here.” Kumi faced the sky and said:”look.”
Kanon looked at the direction that kumi was looking and was dazzled by how pretty the sky was.
“W-wow! Kuumin! That is beautiful! What’s that?!” Kanon said as she was still in awe.
“hehe~ I found this place while taking a stroll and I had wanted to throw away all my worries so I wanted to find someplace high. That is the milky-way. It’s beautiful isn’t it?” Kumi smiled as she looked at kanon.
“This place is quite secretive and I wanted to show it to you because it’s really beautiful~” Kumi held kanon’s hand and looked into her eyes.
“Kuumin…” Kanon blushed as she looked into kumi’s eyes.
The distance between them closed and their lips were just an inch away from one another. However…
“Hey She is here! Get her now! That’s the order from madam!” A guy’s voice could be heard.
Kumi looked towards the voice to see a bunch of her mother’s bodyguard surrounding them.
“What do you want!” Kumi shouted as her anger started to rise.
“Kumi-sama, from the order’s of boss, we are here to bring you home.
“kanako didn't make it?...” Kumi thought.
“non-chan I’m sorry I wanted to tell you after I settled this but I guess I have no choice but to fight back now.” Kumi said with a sad expression.
“K-kuumin, what’s going on?” kanon said as she hid behind kumi.
“It’s going to be ok, my mother sent them to bring me home because she wants me to get married to the son of her business partner.” Kumi said as she looked angrily at the bodyguards.
“E-eh?! Married?! No! I don’t want kuumin to leave!” Kanon said as she held on to kumi’s arm.
“Non-chan, don’t worry! My heart has only a place and that is for you! I will never back down to this wedding!” Kumi said as she hugged kanon to re-assure her.
“OK that’s enough lovey dovey talk. Kumi-sama please come with us. We do not want to use violence to bring you back.” The man said.
“No! I will never go back!” Kumi said as she put up a fighting stance.
“Non-chan! Stay behind me!” Kumi’s fighting spirit was kicking in and she was filled with anger.
“K-kuumin, be careful!” kanon said.
It was 10 big man, the best bodyguard that kumi’s mother had, versus kumi alone. The chance of winning was slim.
“Bring it on!” Kumi said as 2 of the man charged at her.
Kumi dodged heir punch and kicked one of them in their back. It didn't have any effect but kumi found his weakness and gave him and uppercut to his chin. The guy fainted.
Kumi then turned and kicked the glasses off another guy and she dodged to the side as if she was doing a dance move and then gave a high kick to the man’s face. The man staggered and fell.
“Heh, is that all you have got?!” Kumi said as she continued standing on her toes.
Another 5 guys went up against her and they managed to hit kumi a few times, dealing damage to kumi. It was hard for kanon to see kumi get hurt and she started crying.
“Kuumin!” Kanon said as she cried. All she could do now was watch kumi fight.
“Kuumin! Be careful!” Kanon ran towards kumi and took a punch from a man before she fainted.
“NON-CHAN!!!” Kumi shouted and looked at the man with anger filled eyes.
“YOU ARE GONNA PAY FOR THAT! HAAAAA!!!!” Kumi ran towards the man who hit kanon and she jumped up before kicking the man in his face. The man staggered back but kumi was not done yet. She pulled the man by his tie and punched him in his face before running to his back and kicking him in his butt.
“NEVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!” Kumi said as she hugged kanon close to her.
Kumi was at her limits as she kept taking blows.
After fighting for so long, kumi had finally reached her limits. The guys picked her up and carried her on his back.
“She is really a tough girl. Now I understand why madam needed 10 of us.” The guy spoke.
“Bring her back too, kumi-sama would probably want to see her when she wakes up.” The guy pointed to kanon.
“*sigh* kumi-sama is such a stubborn kid, she didn't even let us explain the situation.” Another guy said.
“She had not been home for so long and doesn't know what’s happening now. She doesn't know how much her father misses her.”
“… Anyway, we gotta explain to boss. We hurt his daughter, I guess he will want answers for that.” The guy who was carrying kumi said.
“haha, kumi-sama really has grown up. The love she showed for this girl was not so simple. That uppercut still hurts!” The guy said as he touched his chin.
“hahah! You did a good job faking that faint.” The guy jokingly said.
“Kumi-sama… we are not who we used to be… please understand that.” Another guy looked at kumi and sighed.
“Don’t worry everything will be clear once she wakes up. Boss will explain everything to her. There is kanako too afterall.”
The guys said as they headed back to their cars with kumi and kanon on their back.

Kumi slowly opened her eyes to the morning brightness. Someone was beside her. Someone familiar.
“non-chan?...” Kumi slowly adjusted to the light and saw kanon beside her, looking worriedly.
“ughh…” Kumi tried to move but her body was sore from all the fighting.
“Don’t move you are hurt.” Kanon said as she shook her head.
“Where… ehh?! Isn’t this my house?! I mean… my father’s house?! What am I doing here!? I mean! What are WE doing here!” Kumi said agitatedly.
“Kumi-sama.”
“Kanako?!” Kumi was shocked.
“Kumi-sama! You shouldn't move around!” Kanako ran towards kumi.
“W-what is happening?! Why is kanon here!? Why am I here?! Why are you here?!” Kumi was confused.
Kumi was moving so much that she was starting to hurt everywhere and she let out a whelp.
“Kumi-sama! Stop moving you BAKA!” Kanako slapped kumi’s head.
“O-oiii~” kumi rubbed her head and added: ”You never change… still hitting me in the head whenever I don't listen.” Kumi pouted and kanon gave a small giggle.
“Kumi-sama, you have been asleep for 2 days… Master Yagami wants to see you soon.” Kanako said.
“F-father wants to see me?...” Kumi doubted.
“Yes kumi-sama, after you left the house, Master Yagami has been searching for you.” Kanako said as she took out a diary.
“This is the diary he would write everyday. Please look through it.” Kanako handed over the diary to kumi.
“… What about… that woman…” kumi paused before continuing: “I thought she was all that mattered to father?...” Kumi closed her eyes before opening them again to look at kanako.
“Kumi-sama, everything you need to know is written in that diary. Please, it’s everything that had happened in the pass few years that you had been gone. Please read through it.” Kanako said before looking at kanon: “Kimoto-san, if you could, please make sure kumi-sama reads it… she can be quite stubborn at times.” Kanako bowed before leaving them alone.
Kumi looked at the diary in her hand.
She set it aside and looked at kanon.
“Non-chan, are you hurt anywhere? Did they touch you?! If they did I will- Ouch!!” Kumi tried to punch her fist in the air to act out what she will do to the gaurds but ended up hurting herself again.
“Kuumin! Stop moving around! Mouuu~” Kanon held kumi’s hand and added: “I am fine, don’t worry they just brought me back here and even treated my wound. They apologized too.”
“… I’m glad you are ok. I was so scared… I couldn't protect you…” Kumi lowered her head but kanon held kumi’s shoulder, causing kumi to look up.
“It’s fine, you have been protecting me all along. Let me protect you this time round.” Kanon gave kumi a smile.
“Non-chan…” Kumi looked at kanon and slowly inched closer to her lips.
They kissed for a short moment before parting.
“hehe~ continuation from that interruption.” Kumi smiled cheekily.
Kanon blushed a bright red as she held her cheeks with both hands.
“Kuumin~ I think you should read that diary. There must be a reason why your father brought us back here.” Kanon said as she took the diary and passed it to kumi.
“…” Kumi hesitated as she looked at the diary in kanon’s hand.
“Kuumin~” Kanon gave a reassuring nod before pushing the diary to kumi.
“ok…” Kumi said as she started to flip open the diary.
<DIARY SUMMARY OF WHAT HAPPENED AFTER KUMI MOVED OUT OF HOUSE>
It has been 2 days since kumi, my beloved daughter moved out of this house. It must have been my fault for not noticing how unhappy she was.
Her mother died when she was young and ever since I remarried, I guess… I have been too focused on that woman.
Kumi has never left house before. I don't know what to do without her in this house. She is always jumping around the house ever since she was a kid. That cheerful smile with every littlest thing that she receives and that kind act that she would show to random strangers. How I wish I could have turned back the time.
It’s all too late now. I should have stopped her when she was leaving the house. If only I hadn’t met this woman. She ruined my life. Ruined my relationship with my precious daughter. Ruined her smile…
Ever since kumi moved out, I realized what a bad father I was. Always thinking about myself, always doing things according to my own will and never listening to her worries. I did not pay more attention to kumi. I should have!
I have been searching for her ever since she moved out. She is a stubborn child, I guess finding her would not be so easy. Even her personal maid, kanako, did not know where she was.
I am going to kick that woman out of my life. For the sake of kumi, I will do that.

Kumi had tears in her eyes after she read the diary.
“Kuumin? Are you ok?” Kanon asked in concern.
“Non-chan…” Kumi said nothing and hugged kanon.
Kanon returned the hug as kumi sobbed.
For the next two days, kanon took care of kumi and with the help of kanako, Kumi recovered and was able to move around at ease.
“I guess… it’s time to meet father…” Kumi said suddenly when she took one last look at the diary on her table.
“Non-chan, will you come with me?” Kumi said.
“Un” Kanon nodded and happily took kumi’s hand.
Kumi knew that her father would be in the study room at this time and she went there with kanon.
Outside the room, their hearts were racing. Kumi was nervous about meeting her father after all the misunderstanding that she had and kanon was nervous because this was the first time she met kumi’s father.
Kumi took the first step and knocked on the door.
A faint “come in” could be heard and she opened the door.
“F-father.” Kumi said softly.
A man in his late 50 turned around and his face instantly softened and was ready to cry when he saw kumi.
“Ku…mi?” He dropped the book in his hand.
Kumi nodded, followed by a smile.
“Kumi!” Mr yagami ran towards his daughter and picked her up in a bear hug.
“I have missed you so much!” Mr yagami was crying.
This was the second time kumi had seen her father cry. The first was when her mother passed away.
“Father, I’m sorry for causing so much trouble…” Kumi said when her father released her from the hug.
“Kumi, I am so glad that you are back here. Those guys are so stupid they should have explained the situation then you wouldn’t get hurt!” Kumi’s father said as he placed his hand on kumi’s head and patted it.
“Hahaha, I wouldn't believe it even if they told me that. I am stubborn!” Kumi said with a smile and her father laughed.
“I am so glad to have you back! That smile, it’s been a long time since I saw it.” Her father smiled.
Their reunion was paused when kumi suddenly grab kanons hand and introduced her.
“F-father, t-this is kimoto kanon.” Kumi introduced as kanon gave a small smile and bowed.
“Ahh, such a cute girl.” Kumi’s father said with a smile and nodded.
“She’s my girlfriend” Kumi added and the room became silent for a brief moment.
Kumi thought everything was doomed when the room went quiet. Kanon was gripping onto kumi’s hand nervously.
“Hahahah!” Mr yagami suddenly laughed.
“F-father? Why are you laughing?” Kumi asked curiously.
“It’s expected that my kumi would get such a cute girlfriend. No wonder you didn't want to come home to meet your fiancé.” Kumi’s father said as he clapped his hands and patted kumi’s head.
“E-eh? A-are you ok with this?” Kumi asked in shock. Normally, one would expect rage from their parents but kumi’s father said: “Why not? I don't see anything wrong with being with someone you truly love, no matter who the person is.” Kumi sighed a sigh of relieve but her father continued: “Unless…”
“U-unless?” Kumi and kanon both stopped breathing for a second.
“Unless it's a useless bum who does nothing and expects us to feed him or if he is sponging off you.” Mr yagumi said and laughed. “I’m sure kanon-chan isn’t that kind of person right?” Mr Yagami smiled at kanon and nodded.
“N-no sir, I would even help out at your company if you would like to.” Kanon said in a stiff voice.
“Hahahah, kanon-chan relax, you don't need to be so formal with me since you are kumi’s girlfriend, I will treat it as having another daughter then.” Mr yagami smiled as he patted kanon’s head.
Kumi gave kanon a big smile and she hugged her father.
“Thank you father!” Kumi smiled.
“Welcome home.” Mr yagami smiled.
4 years later~
“Kuumin! We are gonna be late!” Kanon had prepared for work and was now waiting nervously while kumi stroll to the living room.
“I’m done~” Kumi said as she yawn and wear her heels.
“We are gonna be late! Hurry up kuumin!” Kanon pulled kumi out of the house and they headed to Mr yagami’s company.
They were both working at Mr yagami’s company and learning the ropes from him, as they will be taking over the companies business.
They had moved into kumi’s house and they were living just beside yuka.
In other words, kanon just moved out of her old house and moved next door to kumi’s house so it didn't make much difference.
Every morning, yuka would smile as she sees the two girls running out of the house.
Jurina and churi were dating and they are also staying together. Yuria and Paru were leaving happily together. The four of them works under Mr yagami too and they were going to assist Kumi and kanon in their business in the future. Yuria and paru will have a company under Mr yagami’s name and they will be the bosses of it and it will be the same with jurina and churi.
They were very contented with what they had and grateful that mr yagami was there to support them. He is a very good man that everyone respects.
As for rena, she was offered a job but decided to sell melon pan so that she can eat it everyday. She met her other half named, kashiwagi yuki, and they are working together now.
It had been a long journey for kumi and kanon but their love was building up as each day went by. Nothing will break the bond they share between them.

I will probably take a break before starting Kumiyuri fanfic hahaha~ Uwahhh, writing a fanfic is tiring~ :P
KUMIYURIIIIII i hope i can think of something~ Maybe i should put up a poll to see if i should write it or not hmmmm
