KISSING YOU



Atsuko POV

“This is the only way to keep our relationship strong, he really wants this because he always begs this to me. I know I have a principle that I would only gave this to the man whom I want to marry but I think I’m going to break it tonight“  drinking the strong alcohol in the hotel bar counter.


Kai POV

“I’m going to propose to her tonight, we’ve been together for 2 years this is the right time..” holding the small box in his hands.



In a very prestigious hotel held Takahashi Kai's birthday, He’s actually a guy but mistaken to be a girl by his name sometimes, only sometimes because he loves ribbons too. He is the only sole heir of their famous clan obviously their very very rich, when the party is at its peak everyone around including him was drunk, totally drunk to be specific. He chooses to climb up to his room due to uneasy feeling. While on the other hand a girl on the same hotel was drunk too because of heavy alcohol shots she takes on the bar waiting for someone, she decided to wait that person in their room before she could do another vomit. Apparently these two people ended up on the same room because of the confusing vision of dizziness, both of them has the influence of alcohol on their head and make love to one another for that night. They didn’t noticed each other during the night of the romance because both them were waiting for their partners to come, they merely thought that the one they kissed and make love with was the right person. When the sun strikes that’s the only time they realize the huge mistake they did last night.

CHAPTER 1 A



Takahashi Kai woke up by spiky sound on his ear, not a just a sound but a scream actually, the girl beside him in the bed was screaming continuously.
“Ray would you please shut up! It’s still so early!” but when he turn to looked at the girl he himself falls out in the bed causing him to scream also “Who are you???!!!”

“Maybe I should the one to ask that!! Baka!! Who are you????!!! This is my room!!!” the girl shouting at him “You!!!! How could you!!!” the girl was crying in disgraced, while looking at her on the bed he then realize that he’s naked, knowing the situation of his body he quickly grabbed a piece of cloth to cover that part.

“Hey chotto! This is my room! How did you?..” He frowns when he sees this isn’t really his room, because his things where not there “Oh my god! Did we? You know..”

“I hate you!!! You raped me!!!” the girl still screaming to him, he immediately recalls what had happened last night during his birthday. The proposal planning, he got drunk and go upstairs to rest his head but in the wrong room.

“Matte kudasai.. It’s my fault this is your room I’m really drunk , but please believe me I really didn’t raped you.. As far as I remember you didn’t hesitate the actions I’ve done to you last night but instead you responded..” He bowed and explained the details.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh that’s my point! I admit that I’m drunk too and I didn’t realize that you’re a different person, I’m such a dirty girl!” she cries ‘till her voice became husky

“Maybe we could settle this, I have a girlfriend you know and I’m planning to propose to her last night but I guess she didn’t came on my birthday..”

“I have a boyfriend too and it’s our anniversary and..and..” she cries again

“And what?” he asked

“AND IM STILL A VIRGIN! And I gave it to you!!!! This is not right! I should commit suicide!” she stands and wrapped the blanket to her naked body.

“Oi! Wait up..Don’t do that! I said a while ago we can fix this right? Would like to listen to me for a while? And please don’t do some stupid things like that, there are lot of people fighting to live and yet you’re wasting your own? Think about that!” he convinced the girl and made her sit back on the bed

“By the way, My name is Takahashi Kai.. What about you? Well so that at least I could call you by name..That’s all..”

“Maeda..Maeda Atsuko..just call me acchan..” she lowered her voice and look down still stunned for what have happened

“Now we know each other’s name, I have an idea, since we both have different partners let’s just forget what have happened to us, I know..oh my how would I put this..I know I take responsibility of your virginity but we both admit our mistake and we both do it so we have nothing to do about that, unless we could turn back time which is impossible right?”

“Unn..So let’s pretend nothing happens if we meet in the future..It’s not easy for me cause I’m a girl but I would take responsibility on this..” she agreed what kai suggested to her

“So deal?”
“Deal..”





After the day that they vowed to forget what have happened both of their lives continue. Kai continues his heir ship to their company and acchan continued her work as a designer in their own store. But until such time after one and half month later, Maeda Atsuko discovers something in her that she never imagined going to happen.


“Acchan are you alright?” yuko her best friend and co-owner of the shop asked her.

“I noticed you’re changing from these past few weeks too acchan” miichan one of her colleagues also

“Oh no..” she answered and gasped her mouth, realizing the one night mistake she has done.

“Acchan..Could it be? The one you’ve told us? Are you pregnant?” tomochin asked her direct to the point without hissing other possibilities. After hearing her friend’s thought she kneeled down digging the word pregnant in her mind, because the fact is she’s really delayed and she never thought of it, but now she’s blank and utterly speechless to her friends.

CHAPTER 1 B




Acchan POV

“What should I do? I know it’s a 90 percent chance what tomochin thought is right..I doesn’t even know that guy only by his name and we made a deal about that..I don’t know where I should start my mind is cramming right now, I want to shout till death but I just can’t..”


On that conversation with her friends they decided to put an end on their speculation. Yuko immediately called her known doctor to have an appointment right away. Just in time when they arrived at the private clinic acchan was still not on herself hoping the small possibility that they are all wrong.

“Yuko seriously? A male OB-GYN?”  miichan couldn’t believe what she had saw on the door that has the doctor’s name.
“Is all Ob a female? Of course not! This one is handsome! Come now..He’s expecting us..” yuko leading the way to open the door, holding acchan’s cold hands
“Now I know why yuko take’s us here..The doctor is her lover.. Am I wrong ne yuko?” tomochin frankly ask her

“Ahahaha yeah you’re right..Guys I’d like you to meet Riku, I mean Dr. Riku Kojima he’s an OB and my boyfriend he’s the one I’ve been telling you all the time the who’s good in bed..” yuko smirking
“Yuuchan?! Eh?? You’ve tell that to them?” The Dr. in despair
“Slight but not all details sweetheart, it’s a private thing ya know..” yuko hugged him

“Ah I’m sorry for informalities, I’m Dr. Kojima Riku desu.. Nice to meet you..” they all bowed to one another “Who’s the patient here?” he asked
“I’am..” acchan didn’t even look at him..
“Acchan..Don’t worry maybe we are all wrong, maybe you have a tumor or some cancer..How about that?” yuko trying to cheer her up
“What? No thanks yuko, I’d rather be pregnant than having those illness.. Dr. Please take care of me..” acchan


As the Dr. Initiate some lab test on her, the result finally came out and this time she’s not even shock at all, she slowly accepts the fact that this is true and cannot be tamed anymore.

“Omedatou Acchan! You’re 6 weeks pregnant indeed and you’re doing great both of you are healthy..” Dr. Riku
“Awww this scene is so tearful.. Sorry guys I can’t help myself” micchan wipes her tears
“So that’s 1 month old going 2 months, don’t worry acchan.. baby bump will not be so obvious during those stage” yuko patted her on the shoulder

“Arigatou minna..The other part of me is indeed really happy but the other part was still confused..” she replied
In fact she herself can’t believe that there’s another life growing inside her. After a few hours of discussion with the doctor they finally left, acchan decided to tell her parents about this immediately since it’s still early she doesn’t like keeping secrets on them.



Takahashi’s Manor


“Ohayou..” he greeted her mother and father at the table while still fixing his tie
“Join us here..Let’s eat breakfast together..We often do this since you’re so dedicated to your work in the company” his father requesting him to sit
“Kai kun..Were getting old..” her mother starting the topic
“Mom..I know where this topic is going..”
“I will always reminding you this everyday hmmf.. In three years time I want to see some little feet running around here, messing the things and hearing some small giggles that would make some sound in this quite house”


“I agree with your mother kai..Are you and Ray still together? I didn’t see her these past few months..”
“Haist me either Dad, I didn’t see her.. She’s been busy overseas in her career, she even didn’t made to come on my birthday” saying this, he now remembers the girl who he slept with during that night, not noticing his parents follow up question

“Kai kun? Are you alright? You seem mentally absent..” his father snap out a finger on his face
“Ah was what that again? Sorry I just remembered someone..”
“Are you sure about Ray? Well what I’m trying to say is, is she really the one that you wanted? I’m not against her but seeing you like this waiting for her again again makes me bothered..I’m your mother kai I know what you feel, you can’t hide that!”

“Actually during my birthday If she’d ever come in the party, I was going to propose to her but she didn’t make it..again..” he sighs
“Oh my poor baby..come here and mama will kiss you to make the pain go away” his mother teasing him, while his father chuckled
“Mom..I’m serious..”
“I know my son..But would you please open your mind to some possibilities that what if Ray and you are not meant for each other? What if you’re destined to someone else out there? Put that in your mind ok? Don’t let yourself evolve on that person that isn’t sure about you..Also I’d like you to come with me today to the clinic, I need to have some checkups I want you to be with me, since you’re father has a meeting”
“Alright mom..” he answered


Kai POV

“Mom has a point, I need to know if Ray’s emotion towards me..for two years I felt I’m always the one doing a favor just to be with her..I need to talk to her when she comes back..”


After a short discussion in the breakfast table, Kai goes with her quarterly check up.
“My friend! Long time no see!” the two guys bump their body together
“Good morning aunt minako.. It’s been a while..Please prepare yourself on the room onegaishimasu..”  The doctor greeted the not so old women as one of the nurses assisted her.

“Kai! I’m glad you came here with your mom! Mariko and the others were planning to have some bar hopping this coming weekend would you like to come? Oh come on! I won’t accept no for an answer ”
“Riku you still haven’t’ change huh still a playboy, gazing some hot chicks always in the club..” Kai laugh
“Oi that’s not true in fact I have a new girlfriend now, and this time around I’m being serious to her despite how she clings on me I just can’t resist that girl.. ”
“Really? Hmmm I must meet her and asked how did she manage to control you riku!” the two of them laugh teasing each other, when out of the blue Kai saw some pregnancy books and vitamins on his friends table. “Riku another pregnant patient?”

“Ah yeah..my girlfriend’s friend they came here a few days ago..” Riku
“Oh really..Well congrats to her..How many months?” Kai curiously asked

“Going two months, approximately 6 weeks..It’s really a happy feeling when you’re a doctor, you will be able to witness first the life..” riku smiling while looking at the books, when he flips it a paper sway to the air and drops on the ground which kai pick it up. He saw a name Maeda Atsuko on the paper, it was a patient’s record, he reads it up to the bottom and finds the result pregnant. Abruptly he looks to his friend and gave the paper to him wih a trembling hand.

“Riku..Tell me..Do you know that girl?” Kai asked, his voice change while he grits his teeth
“She’s the one I’ve been talking to you, yuko’s friend..”  Riku just answered innocently

“so she’s weeks pregnant?” While kai was saying this he quickly counts the week during his birthday and periodically assess the possibility that he’s the father, but this thinking was set aside when she recalls that the girl has already a boyfriend, but then again the fact that she’s a virgin confuses him. He can’t explain his feeling he felt he wanted to see that girl right here right now.

“Kai something wrong?”
“Nnnn..Nothing..Do you know more about this girl? I mean when she got here to do the check up, she’s with her husband right?” Kai was now asking deeply

“Well, apparently she’s not..based on what my yuuchan says, She and her boyfriend got separated because something has happened to her and she can’t bear to face her boyfriend anymore, when she came here to the clinic she’s with yuuchan and their friends, this is too much info kai! Don’t you know we doctors have a rule of patient doctor disclosure?”

“Riku..onegai..I want to know her address..” Kai
“Oh no no!! That’s too much Takahashi Kai!”

“Riku you don’t understand, remember during my birthday? The incident I’ve been talking to you always during the week?” Kai
“Unn..That you made some one night stand with some girl? Oh uh..Don’t tell me?!!” Riku huff her breath

“Hai..Riku..She’s the girl..Maeda Atsuko..and I had this feeling that the child she’s bearing is mine..”

“Kai..chotto..I need to drink some water.. I can’t take this.. I’m more panicking than you..” Riku..

CHAPTER 2



Kai convinced riku to reveal acchan’s address and explain furthermore the situation that might change his life forever.
“Riku onegai give me the address..” He kneeled down begging for the information
“Haist..What should I do with you..If you’re not my best friend I would really ignore you kai..alright alright I would give it to you..” riku finally grant him his request

“And Riku one more favor..Would you come with me? So that she wouldn’t panicked where did I get the her address..” Kai
“Do you mean right now? We’re going immediately? Could you wait just a day after? Like tomorrow..”
“Riku do you think I could sleep on what I had just discovered, I know it’s not accurate yet but this feeling inside my chest it’s burning..” Kai
“OK fine..besides I wanted to see my yuuchan too..”
“After my mom’s physical check up, we should go there right away, it’s you who could help me since your girlfriend is her friend..”

“Ne Kai..Maybe we should go directly to their store now, so that we can catch them..” Riku
“Anywhere riku as long as I can get to her..”
“You sure is excited huh.. You’re acting like a daddy already” riku teases him that made his heart bump when he hears the word daddy.


On the other hand acchan’s life go on with the usual routine but this time she’s more responsible and very keen on her moves, she’s not only thinking about herself but to other life inside her, although it’s not so obvious that carrying a one month old baby in her tummy still she manage not be careless at all.

“Acchan I’m glad you’re family was supporting you all the way..” tomochin
“Hai.I didn’t expect it too, I thought they would persuade me for what had happened to me..but instead they welcome whole heartedly the upcoming new member of the family..” she replied, this time her aura is much more brighter and relax unlike the past few days.

“I’m excited on the baby’s gender!” miichan says happily
“Me too miichan, but whatever it is I’m praying that it would be healthy all the way..” acchan
“Acchan made us godmother’s ok?” yuko

“Of course I would..that’s no doubt..the three of you is first on my list..by the way these designs should I continue it? I think I made it ugly maybe I should change it, what you think?” while showing the design someone open the door in their store and that causes the wind chimes to make a sound.

“I’m sorry were closed sire..” one of the staff explained

“Ah gomen..we came here to see someone I’m Kojima Riku , Is Oshima Yuko still here?..” Riku asked, behind him was his friend Kai who doesn’t know what he feels at that moment. They waited at the reception area while the staff called yuko.

“Mr. kojima, Yuko sama says you can go directly to the lounge area, she’s there..” the staff led them to the place. Upon entering the two guys unintentionally hears a discussion between the girls inside the lounge consisting of yuko and her friends, “Yuko what do you think? Should I continue it? Or just dropped this off?” one of girls was talking. Kai can’t wait no more and made a sneak to the half opened door and saw it was acchan talking about that stuff. Hearing these words ‘should I continue it? Or just dropped this off’ made him rushed and showed himself to them.


“CHOTTO MATTE KUDASAI! Atsuko! Don’t do that! I will not allow that!” Kai rushing to the girls talking and revealing himself..
“Ka..Kaiiii…?? What are you doing here?  How did you?” acchan was surprise, she couldn’t believe it she saw that guy again, the guy she made love once and the exact guy who’s the father of the life inside her.

“Atsuko I’m begging you..Don’t do it..” Kai kneeled down again and cried pleading in front of her

“So he’s Kai.. He’s cute..” miichan
“Hmm Definitely a good looking man, not bad for acchan..” tomochin
“I admit he’s charming, but still my riku is the apple in my eye..” yuko, speaking of riku he revealed himself too.. “Riku kun?? What a surprise!”

“Yuuchan..I’ve missed you..” riku hugged her and kisses her on the lips
“Wait a minute..Are you two know each other?” yuko
“Yuuchan..That’s one more thing I need to say to you..Kai is my bestfriend..”

“eh???!!!!” they chorused in belief

“Atsuko..Please..Listen to me don’t do it, don’t dropped that off..It’s a new life it’s a blessing..please listen to me..” Kai kept on kneeling
“Ha?? What do you mean kai?” acchan was confused
“The baby..Are you planning to discontinue it? Please don’t if only I could bear that in my body I would!”

Acchan hearing this she can’t helped herself to let a small laugh, a laugh that expose her pretty face with amusement “Kai..We are talking about the design not the baby.. and How did you know about it? How did you find me?”

“I’ll take the faultiness on that” riku raised up his hand being guilty
“Riku kun! You didn’t tell me that he’s you’re bestfriend!” yuko
“I didn’t know about acchan too yuuchan..gomen..” Riku bowed for his act

“Well faith really decides the road..” tomochin
“That was so deep tomochin..” miichan

“Atsuko..I thought you were going to dump the baby..Sorry for such a weird act.. I failed on this” kai
“Do you think I’m that kind of person?” acchan exclaimed

“Ja! We shall leave the two of you here so you could talk about it..We will just be waiting outside to have some coffee..” Yuko waves and the rest of them followed the midget girl leaving the two of them in the lounge.

“Kai..what are you doing? Why did you come here? Didn’t we have a deal?”
“Enough of that stupid deal..I came here because I wanna know the truth behind your pregnancy..”

“So? What’s the big deal with you if I’m pregnant?”
“What’s the big deal?? I want to know if my instinct is right atsuko.. Am I the father? Is that my child you’re carrying?”

“If yes..Does it change the situation?” acchan’s direct answer hit Kai bull’s eye in his heart
“I can’t answer that right now..but all I can assure is I want to be responsible in that too, Atsuko.. That was no accident we made before..We created a life that is soon to be our child..”

“This is my child kai..I won’t disturb your life..I decided to keep this on my own..My family supported me already and that really made me happy..”
“That’s my child also! You didn’t create that on your own..That’s why I’m here..onegaishimasu..Allow me to care both of you..”
“And how would you do that? You had a girlfriend right? And you’re planning to marry her..I’m not going to ruin your relationship Kai..I’m a girl too I know how it feels..”

“I’m going on that move soon and tell her about this and make her understand the situation but for now let me be by your side..for the sake of our child..”

“I don’t know kai..I don’t want my child to be born like this..I don’t know if I’m happy seeing you again..” acchan looked down but Kai raised her chin up and cupped her cheeks “I would take care of you..I won’t promise anything but I would be responsible in every single pain, pressure and doubt you’ve feel..I just want you to trust me..I would tell my family about this..For now I have only three favors on you..Take care of yourself, allow me to do what I’ve got to do being the father and don’t think too much about my side..Let’s work together for the sake of our baby.. Would you like to have a deal again with me about that?” kai smiled to her


“Arigatou..I will..It’s a deal..” she said looking at each other’s eyes

“I knew I’m the father..I can really feel it..It’s mine..” Kai place his hand on acchan’s tummy

“I’m glad you’d never doubted it..” acchan lean her head on Kai’s chest hearing his heart beat, deep in her mind indeed everything has a reason why these things are happening she just doesn’t know what are those explanations, together they feel the special connection between them and made another deal to that special life they had created.

CHAPTER 3




After that even talk with acchan on the same day, Kai immediately talk to her parents about the situation, he knows that this is not the way it is because it’s very complicated but all he wants is to protect atsuko and the baby.

“Mom Dad, Glad I’ve catch you here in the office I thought you’re not here..”
“The meeting has just ended a minute ago and we will supposed to go out with your mother would you like to join us?” Mr. Takahashi
“Dad..I need to tell something to both you..and I don’t want to join you on your date with mom, it’s your own private time..” Kai
“What is it Kai? I can feel it’s really important I can sense it..” His mom certainly knows him well

“Oh no mother’s intuition is always right..” Kai let a deep sigh before continuing again “Mom Dad..I know just a while ago when were having breakfast together, one of topics was grandchildren thing, the baby and marriage..Alright here goes.. I’m having a child! Please don’t panic I know it’s too sudden..but..oh how should I put this..” Kai frowns looking at his parents waiting for their reaction.

“Is Ray pregnant?” his Dad made the first response
“No dad..I’ve made it into another girl..” he looks down he feels a traitor for that moment in front of his parents

“Kai kun!!Yataaa You’re really a man!” in his surprise he made his mom happy
“Mom you’re not going to scold me? I made it with someone else..You like Ray right?” he asked
“I like Ray but I like more the baby! Finally I’m officially a grandmother!” his mother goes near to him and congratulates his hands

“So is this alright with you guys? You’re not angry?” Kai furiously asked them
“How could we? It’s a baby kai! You really are my son! You’ve got that from me a good shooter!” his Dad proudly proclaimed his genes
“So I should be thankful then..” Kai bowed

“About Ray..That thing is your control, me and your father doesn’t want to get involve on that.. But we will be getting involve on our grandchild..” His Dad assures him
“Kai kun I want to meet the mother.. Is she pretty and kind?”

“She’s perfect mom..Don’t worry your grandchild will be awesome..” Kai think so
“We better renovate the house to make it a child friendly environment” his Dad was planning
“I shall bring her to you and meet her next week..For now we have just to settle some things..” Kai



Finally one of his confessions was done and he’s glad he never had a tiny problem with it. Only one person left his girlfriend ray. On that night she called ray many times but there was no answer, the phone was just ringing and ringing, again ray disappoints him. Kai didn’t know what’s going on to her, she didn’t even bother to send him mails and call back. He knows ray is busy but it’s almost one week since they had their last conversation on the phone because these past few days they were just exchanging mails to one another. So kai send her a message again because he’s sure that Ray would read it instead wasting his time calling but has no answer.

“Ray..How are you? I missed you so much..
By the way we need to talk personally I have to tell you something that I can’t say on the phone..
This is really important I hope you will grant my request..Take care always..I love you..” sent




From that day on until today kai is always visiting acchan on the store everyday even on weekends he tends to meet the mother of his child. Bringing her fruits and healthy meals every day, He even reads pregnancy books to know the pros and cons of it, searches the internet to study some facts about the changes of a pregnant women. As far as he can, he doesn’t want acchan to bribe some negative emotions, he’s making sure that the girl is always happy and safe.


“Kai..This is too much..” Acchan just shook her head seeing the guy bringing her another basket of fruits
“No..It’s alright..I will be doing this to make sure your doing great..” He smiled revealing his dimples which made acchan pinched him on cheeks
“So cute..It made me giggle..Sorry..”
“You can pinch me anywhere and anytime you like atsuko..That’s part of your pregnancy..Suddenly you want something and now you don’t”
“Eh? Even those things you knew that?”
“Hmm..well it’s a fact on women carrying a child..”

“Better be careful kai..acchan might miss you if missed a day spoiling her..” Yuko jokingly interrupted the two.

“Is that true atsuko?” he teases acchan observing her face turning light pink
“Dame da yo…I’m going inside..” acchan avoided his eyes
“Let me help you with that..” he quickly grab the bunch of fabrics on acchan’s hands “You must not carry heavy things atsuko..”
“ahh gomen..”

“By the way tomorrow is you’re third monthly check up right?”
“Hai..are you coming with me?”
“Of course I would!”
“You don’t have to shout exaggeratedly kai..” acchan just smile seeing his excitement
“Can’t help it..Riku says you’re entering the second quarter of pregnancy, so that means the first x-ray ultra sound..”

“I think you should be the one who gets pregnant because you seems know it all than me.. ” acchan was so fond hearing kai’s reaction every time they talk about this kind of stuff
“By the way atsuko..I made a promise to my parents that I would introduce you to them..Maybe after the check up tomorrow, would you like that?”

“Is it really alright kai? You know the situation..I know your parent are okay with the child but I don’t know how would I approach them..Were not even lovers but we made this..I’m afraid how would they look at me by that..”
“Don’t think of that atsuko..They’re not like that trust me I’m their son..They raised me with all their love and respect..”

“Unn you’ve got a point there kai..So see you tomorrow..We will be closing the store..”
“Let me give you a ride home..please atsuko..”
“Kai..I’m fine..You’re making me a paralyze person..I’m just pregnant..My strength doesn’t change at all..I can still walk, hop and even dance..”
“Don’t do that I’m begging you..You’ve promised right?” Kai bounced back the question to her
“Fine..you win..haist..you’re spoiling me a lot..”
“What was that atsuko?”
“Nothing I said..You win..”

“Hey you two! Why don’t you make this thing real.. like a couple ya know..” miichan shouts at them before going to the car.

“Miichan!” acchan shouts back and wobble her head “Don’t mind her kai..She’s just joking you know miichan’s attitude always like that” she explained, while kai didn’t answer he just look acchan’s face on the side mirror

Kai POV

“How I wish miichan’s word is just simple to do..If ray and I were not together I would definitely court you astuko..If only I’ve met you earlier this couldn’t be a problem..”

Acchan POV

“It’s so very impossible..I know where to place myself kai..And I’m not expecting something too..I know you’re just doing this because of the baby..”


As kai opens the door he held acchan’s hand to assist her while stepping out in the car “Well here we are in your house safe and sound”
“Arigatou kai..be safe too..” she bowed
“I will..Be more safe atsuko..See you tomorrow then..I shall pick you up here ok? Wait for me..”
“Anything you like takahashi..” she chuckled while waving goodbye.



Early morning they went to Riku’s private clinic to do the monthly check up “The father really is excited! So early huh..”
“Gomen doctor..This was kai’s idea..” acchan apologizes

“It’s ok acchan..I know kai will bring you to his house later..I’m just kinda teasing him a bit.. hehehe” the doctor laugh “So let’s start..acchan could you please remove your clothes and change into the scrub suit I’ve prepared..” as soon as achan had change her clothing, the doctor laid her on the flat bed surface and begins the ultra sound. He showed an x-ray vision on the screen, pointing a tiny figure on them.

“There it is..sugoii ne..It’s healthy..Great job acchan..and Kai too I know you’ve been taking of her everyday..yuuchan tells all on me..Ending up she wants a baby too..” riku commenced her

“haa..I can’t believe it..It’s like a seed growing in me..Before I can’t still feel it but now I wanted to cry..It makes me happy..” her eyes are filled with tears rolling down on her cheeks but still focuses on the screen watching the tiny creature move, she just felt a warm surface wiping the tears on her face, it was kai’s hands.

“You two wanna hear the heartbeat?” riku offering them
“Of course we want! Let me hear it first!” kai volunteered “I can hear it clearly atsuko..We have the same heart beat sound..”
“Silly all heart beat sounds are the same kai..” riku

“I can’t wait till the delivery comes..I’m getting more excited..” kai
“You have to wait 6 more months daddy..We shall know the gender by the next 3 months on your third quarter acchan..” riku

“I prefer not to know the gender..I want it to be surprise..” acchan says
“ahh sou desu..OK atsuko anything you want..” kai grinned but deep inside him he really wants the gender but he respects  acchan’s decision as a mother.

“You’re belly isn’t that quite big acchan in fact it’s not that obvious that you’re pregnant, it’s still normal..So you can still wore you usual clothes..But when the baby bumps grows you need to wear some maternal dresses ok?” the doctor advices her
“Hai..I will..” acchan nodded

“Next week let’s go shopping atsuko..we have lots to prepare for you and the baby..” kai holds her hands and when they noticed it they immediately avoided each other’s gazes but their heartbeats were racing, they can’t deny the fact that every day they are getting more closer.

CHAPTER 4



“Ehem..” riku suddenly coughs when he noticed that the two soon to be parents were so serious “acchan I have to give you some vitamins to keep you healthy more and kai the session is already done you may come in my desk too..”

“Thank you for taking care of me..” acchan bend to the doctor
“Aside from you’re my girlfriend’s friend, this is my job also as a doctor..So it’s really fine acchan..Also you must move your body always to avoid crumps”

“Riku what other exercise could a pregnant do instead of walking?” Kai asked
“Hmmm well..Sex is the most effective way..” Riku answered

“Eh??!!” the two of them sync their answer

“Oi! Don’t eh eh me! Have you just heard the word sex for the first time? Tsk and besides you already do that! That word is very very normal for us doctors..We really don’t mind about that.. That’s the most prescribed exercise since kai asked for it..The more you do it the more it’s good..It really helps a lot when the baby goes out..You know what I mean right? But of course you wouldn’t do that because you know the situation..Just try to have a walking routine everyday acchan..That would do..” Riku just ignored their reactions and continue writing the prescriptions.

“Yeah walking is more easy to do than that..” acchan quickly change the topic and she can’t abide to look at kai for what had riku said about the sexercise thing

“Here you go acchan..Just follow that my prescribe medication and everything will turn out just the way they are..You may go now..I know Aunt minako is preparing something special for you acchan..Better meet kai’s parents because they were more five times excited than kai..” riku laugh

“oh no..Takahashi’s excitement really runs in their blood..” acchan
“See you around riku and thank you much for today..I’m really happy..” kai holding the screen shot photo of their baby looking at it as if he was so in love.


While on the car kai notices acchan’s silence so he broke the ice first “Are you alright atsuko?”
“hnn..I’m just nervous, hungry and sleepy..” acchan rests her head back while kai is looking at her on the front view mirror.

“Just a little more..I just can’t drive in a fast speed because you’re here safety first right? And don’t be nervous..You will like them..”  kai concentrating on the road while glimpsing on acchan. When they arrived at the takahashi manor, the house really change from its color to furniture’s his dad really kept his word to make it a child friendly house and even made a mini playground in the garden. Acchan was astonished of what she saw she can’t believe that they really prepared on this, thinking that the baby is really welcome. Kai made acchan sit on the sofa in the living room while waiting for his parents, as soon as the maid called on them acchan rapidly stand to bow in respect upon seeing them.

“Mom Dad, this is her..” kai  smile
“yoroshiku onegaishimasu..Maeda Atsuko desu..”
“Welcome Acchan..Can I call you that? Kai says that’s your nickname..” Mr. Takahashi said in a polite way
“Hai..Anything you want to call me sir..” acchan
“Just call me ojisan for now..” kai’s father chuckled

“Acchan..Finally I have met you..I’m Takahashi minako..This handsome guy’s mother..call me obasan also for now..” kai’s parents look one another and smile, seems like they know where this two would lead in the future.
“Arigatou for the warm welcome..” acchan

“Yosh..so shall we eat then? Atsuko and the baby is hungry” Kai rapidly gesture to the servants to serve the meal on the dining area
“Is kai taking care of you my darling?” mother
“Hai..He is..in fact he’s making me feel useless..” acchan let a small laugh
“Because I want to help atsuko..” kai serving her rice and vegetables beside her

“That’s my boy! You should not let acchan upset..That’s the same thing I did when your mother was pregnant with you..right dear?” father
“Oh dear..that brings us the past how I love those moments when you spoiled me..time is so fast just before Kai is on my tummy but now he’s going to have his own..” his mom was half teary while slicing the food

“Mom here you go again..” kai
“Kai really described you correctly darling..He said you were perfect, I’d better agree on that..you’re still sexy and pretty despite of being pregnant” kai’s mother praises her
“Kai said that?” acchan’s snooping question made kai stand
“Ah ano..I have to make some juices in the kitchen..” He excuses himself
“We have already some beverages here kai..You want something else? Let the servants make it for you..” his father suggested

“No dad..It’s for atsuko..She likes mango shakes nowadays and I know the taste she wants because I’m always making that to her, so I must do it on my own..” Kai made a sudden confession to them.
“That’s so sweet Kai kun..” mother

Hearing kai’s explanation made acchan flush her face as red as the apple on the table, she can’t help it, those words just hit her heart and realizes that kai’s really a good guy. When kai was back at the table he serves the freshly made mango shake to her, which made her very happy. When the meal was over they go back to the living room and chat more stuff anything under the sun. Thus, this made acchan really glad because slowly she removes the wall of her doubt to kai’s parents. When the takahashi couple left the two them kai being so responsible again peeled some apples to nibble, while he continuously talk he notices that acchan was not listening anymore and already lean her head on the couch.


“Oh I made her tired..” kai lift her up like a bride and bring her into his own room to sleep comfortably in the bed, he place a warm blanket to cover the girl’s body and wipes her hair to uncover her face. Looking every aspects on that spot until he stops on the lips, he gulp as he remembered the night they made it “ahh that’s why I wonder on that night why I’m kissing such a cute lips” he continue observing the girl’s face, until he himself fall asleep also on her side. His head was on the bed near acchan’s face while his body was outside on the bed making a sitting position, like a prince guarding the princess.


When acchan wakes up she look around as she saw a different view from the house and saw kai’s sleeping face near to her, this time she’s the one observing the guy “I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done.. “ she whispers gently “I don’t know what will happen if you’re girlfriend is back, I just can’t imagine myself not seeing you anymore” she sighs heavily and slowly rose up the half of her body. She observes that she’s on kai’s room because of the environment, when sighting the things around, the small box caught her eyes, she’s definite that it was a jewelry box. When she’s about to stand the bed shake for her sudden move that made kai awake.

“Atsuko..You’re awake..Did you sleep well?” he asked
“I should be the one to ask that kai you half body was on the floor..Are you alright?”
“Hai..no worries..I’m fine..I’m sorry I fell asleep when watching you..”

“You’re watching me while I’m asleep?” acchan
“Ah yeah..I mean..not in a bad way..I’m supposed to guard you..” kai just smile
“Guard me from whom? From what?”
“Ano..from..Mosquitoes they might bite your cute face..You wouldn’t like having some red mark’s right?” he reasoned out

She just beam a smile and thought of something to ask“Kai..would you mind if I asked about her?” pointing on the girl’s picture on the table.
“Ahh she’s Ray..My girlfriend..We been together for almost two years, but our time together was not that momentous..She’s so busy on everything..” he explained

“I guess you really love her, because you really wait for her time..” she said innocently
“Maybe before I guess..But when since the day that she didn’t come on my birthday that really made me disappointed..The one I’ve tell you that I was going to proposed to her..But she didn’t come..I really beg her to go in my celebration but she still choose to ignore me..”
“Did you talk to her about that? You can still worked it out ..I believe in you..”
“Yeah we talked about that and as usual I’m being stupid always listening to her excuses and stupid again that I forgive her right away..”

“So when she comes back you will continue to propose to her right?” kai didn’t answer it when he notices that acchan was going to step the small rubber ball on the floor, before acchan could slip kai already catches her on his arms.

“Wew that was close! Atsuko careful! Are you alright?” kai asked her while checking on her body if it is fine.
“Gomen..I’m talking too much I didn’t saw what I was walking..please don’t be angry to me..” she said

When kai saw her eyes about to make some fluid to create teardrops he immediately grab back his words “I’m not angry atsuko..I’ll never be specially with you..” still on the same position acchan was on his arms while he was leaning down to her, DEG DEG DEG the sound of his heartbeat slowly closer and closer he lean more down his face, acchan couldn’t talk anymore when she observe kai’s action. The space between their faces was only half an inch, feeling each other’s breath, she just closed her eyes until she felt a warm lips pressing on hers. When suddenly kai’s phone ring, he quickly answered it with disappointment on his face.

“Moshi moshi..” kai
“Kai..Surprise! I’m back..”

“Ray??” hearing this made acchan quickly stand up and sit back to bed biting her lips listening to the conversation.

“Baka it’s a surprise right? Wait me there I’m almost there..gotta hang up..muah..” Ray ended the call


“Ah kai.. I must be going..Thank you for today..Please tell your parents my gratitude..” she dash her steps going down while kai followed her right away “Atsuko..wait..About what happened..kai you’re so damn! What now?” he murmured to his self.

“Atsuko..” he grabbed acchan’s wrist to pause for a while “Let me take you home..”

“No I’m fine..Ray coming isn’t she? It might be so rude if you’re not here when she arrives..I refused this kai..let me go on my own..Please..” As acchan said this she turn back not to look at the guy, she doesn’t want kai to see her tears. Kai knows he can’t argue with acchan at that moment because of what she heard, so he decided to let the driver take care of acchan going home.

“Take care! Be safe always! And….”
Is I love you the next word? He asked himself, now he’s confused Ray is coming and acchan is spacing out. “I must do what I’ve got to do..” that’s the only decision he can think at that moment.


Acchan POV

“I’m such a fool, why did I let that happened? Now what? I’m falling to him already, but I must not!” she cries looking outside the window when her mobile made some sound for a new mail


To Atsuko

I know this is so informal explaining on the mail but I just can’t let this pass.
I don’t know why I did that sudden kiss, but trust me I didn’t do that intentionally.
My body subconsciously moves, my mind was fighting for it not to do but my heart tells me to.
Atsuko I need you to trust me..That’s the only thing I can promised and this time I’m referring to you..

CHAPTER 5




“Kai!!!!” the not so tall girl wearing white dress jump to hug him tightly
“Ray…you’re back..” His voice was dry

“Are you still mad at me? It seems you’re not happy at all..”
“No I’m not mad anymore, I’m not that kind of person who takes grudge..I’m just..Surprise really surprise..”
“I received your mail..You stated there that you wanted to tell something very important..”
Kai felt his heart thumping so hard he’s so nervous and don’t know where to start “Ahmm I have lots to tell you actually..”

“So let’s go to your room then to have some privacy..” Ray drags him going upstairs and he just let the girl do that to him, when they reach the room the girl locks it in one tick before kai could say another word Ray captured his lips and kisses him roughly. She push kai on the bed while she’s on top still kissing him down to his neck until she unbuttoned kai’s polo, she pause a while and look at the guy down, she observes that kai isn’t responding on her moves.

“Something wrong kai?”
“nnn..I’m not in the mood to do it..” Kai didn’t look at her, being a guy this is really tough to control even though he wanted it but in his mind was acchan acchan acchan and acchan and so is the baby, he had this feeling of betrayal when doing this to ray. “Sorry..”
“This is new..Takahashi Kai is not on his mood..I guess I have to pursue more to get you in the mood..Hmm What about that..” Ray slid her hands inside kai’s pants

“Ray..I’m serious..I’m just tired..” He gasped before the girl would continue to lower down her hands
“Grrr..Alright..Your being hard to get to me kai..” Ray drop her body on the bed

“Maybe we should eat..I’m sure you’re hungry..Let’s go down..” Kai offering her something to ease the tension
“Yeah I’m hungry..” so they headed back down and eat together
“Are you going to stay here tonight?” he asked
“I think not..I have to go to my parents house too..Maybe we should meet tomorrow and have some quality time together..How about that?”

“My vacant time tomorrow would be in the evening..” Kai
“So desu..You’re quite busy nowadays huh..”
“Yeah like you..” kai was still thinking how to say about acchan “Ray..”
“Hhmmm? What is it?”

“Are you back for good? I mean are you staying here to be with me or just having a vacation?”
“Kai..Actually I’m here to process something and of course seeing you that’s the most important thing..”
“So after that you’re going back abroad again?”
“Hai..But after 2 months I’ll be staying here for good and not going back anymore..”

“Ahh really..” Kai grasped his courage to finally say this “Ray..The one I’ve mailed you about the important thing I want to say to you in person..Actually I’ve made a wrongdoing behind your back..During my birthday, when you didn’t come, I’ve met someone..”
“So? What if you’ve meet someone during that event? It’s your birthday right? So I’m sure there were really a lot of visitors in there.. And I’m sorry I didn’t make it, I already told you my reason right..”

“I’ve met someone and she’s a girl..” Ray’s expression suddenly change she had this bad feeling would come “Accidentally I’ve slept in her room, not knowing it wasn’t mine because I was so drunk during that time and so she is also, and we did it..”

“You did what??!!” Ray half shouted at him
“We did that..”Kai quoted the scene “I thought it was you and she thought of me as her boyfriend too, so it happened..” Kai really release a deep breath
“Kai..Half of me was hurt but half of me was blaming myself too..”
“Ray..I’m sorry..And that’s not all..”
“Don’t tell me..You did it again?”
“NO! not that..something else came up..”

“…………...” Ray can’t talk anymore, she’s hoping that her prediction is not true and then DEG “I made her pregnant..” hearing this she clench her blouse that she almost tore it, her tears unconsciously flows down to her face, she’s crying inside her lungs and wanted to scream like hell, but she can’t utter any single word from his mouth. Kai drew near close to her and hugged her girlfriend, he knows he hurt her so much, but he wants to be honest as he can because he knows he can’t hide it.

“Ray..gomen..” kai lifted the girls hand and put it on his face “You can slap me how many times you want, punch me till my face bleed, do it onegaishimasu to relieve the pain I gave you.. ”
“I won’t do that kai..I just love you so much that I can’t hurt you the way you want..” Ray still sobbing “In fact I blame myself for this..This was my fault too if only I’d stayed here with you this wouldn’t be happened..but here it is..already done..” she wipes her tears “Still kai..Despite of this..I still love you..”

Kai didn’t answer back because he knows to himself that his love for ray is not that solid anymore, the truth is he didn’t call it love anymore as lovers but as friends and yet he can’t tell this to her right now because of the drastic emotion he has given to her. He thought of telling it to the girl in a solemn perfect time where ray is calm but ray unexpectedly asked him “Do you still love me right?” He was shouting on his head for help, if he answers the truth Ray would be more severe and if he lies Ray would be expecting, he hugged the girl tight in response pretending he doesn’t hear anything.

“Kai? Answer me..” Ray repeated her question
“I don’t want to answer that..” Kai refused

“Why? You like her already?” still kai was in silence “Maybe she keep herself close to you that’s why you fell, maybe she used the child to get you, maybe she’s tempting you always and maybe!”
“RAY STOP THAT!” Kai released her from the hug “She’s not that kind of girl! The truth is I’m the one who begged for recognition, she didn’t even ask my help even a single one..”

“Now I know..You do like her..That answer my question..Even so..I won’t give you up easily..Kai tell me what to do to win your heart back..”
“Nothing..” kai spoke a one word answer
“Do you want me to get pregnant too? I can do that! or you want me to stay here forever with you? Just tell me anything I would do that just for you..say that you love me again kai..” She cries
“Ray don’t do this..Even me I’m confused..I don’t know what happen in just a short time..I’ve no intention hurting you..That’s the last thing I would do..”

“Kai I can accept your child, but I can’t accept that you don’t love anymore..Just give another chance..I know I’m the one to blame here..This is my fault..”
“This is my fault Ray..Don’t blame yourself..This is my doing this is my feeling..If you feel you lacked something from our relationship maybe that’s the blame I can handled to you because that part is true..So maybe we should end this..I can’t lie anymore..We will both suffer if we will continue this..”

“I will win you back kai..” Ray stands and get her stuff, she immediately go out and leave kai behind.


At that night kai’s mind was blank. In just a day so many things happen, just this morning he was so happy about the ultra sound then he kissed acchan and then now he confronted ray. In his mind, whatever will happen he will stick to her decision even if he regrets it in the future, because for now this is what he feels and he can’t deny no more that he had fallen on the mother of his child. Thinking the new girl on his heart made him lively again, he quickly start his car and decided to call her.



Meanwhile in acchan’s house, when she arrived back from kai’manor feeling the heavy emotion on her chest she goes directly to her room and rest, she took a shower and examines her belly. Observing it like she had grown fats then she smiles when she knew that it was a tiny baby inside on that spot remembering the ultrasound scene last morning.

“I wonder what happened to your papa and his girlfriend tonight” she touches her tummy while talking “I guess their spending some quality time tonight..I hope he’s happy..” a down curve form on her lips, she was sad with her own words. She then goes out in the bathroom after the warm shower that refreshes her mind, when her phone rings, she quickly flip it to open and saw kai’s name on it. Without any hesitation she feels some excitement on her heart before answering the call.

“Moshi moshi..” she happily said
“Atsuko? Still awake?” kai put on his headset

“Hai..Just finish my the warm shower..Why a sudden call? Anything happen?”
“Ann..Nothing nothing..I just wanted to hear your voice and check if you arrived safe and sound I’m sorry if I called late..”
“Daijoubu desu..I’m still awake..of course I’m fine..You worried too much kai..” acchan felt joy in her heart
“Are you not sleepy yet?” kai

“Nope..maybe because I fell asleep when I’m in your house” saying this made her blush because she remembered the scene when kai kisses her
“That’s great..Are you craving for something right now?”
“Hmm I’m still a bit full but I want to eat something tasty like pudding..But don’t worry I shall check our fridge later..” but the truth is in her mind she wants to see kai, she don’t know if that craving was still part of her pregnancy

“Actually..I’m on my way to your house..hehehe sorry..If you don’t mind I can bring you pudding..Is that alright?” Hearing Kai’s words made her blush even more, now she can feel her face’s heat “Does pregnant women always gets what they want?” she asked herself

“What was atsuko? Anything more you like?”
“Ah ano..I said..I want some barbeque also..Please..”
“Alright alright..As you wish your highness..Anything for you..”
“What a smooth talker..” she murmured but she likes it indeed
“Wait for me then..I’ll be there in a moment..”
“Arigatou kai..” she immediately fix herself and wore something comfortable


Kai really arrived after how many minutes, acchan let him in and he observes the silent atmosphere in the house. “Are your parents already sleeping?” he whispery asked
“Actually their not here..They were out to visit my grandma, they’ll be back tomorrow” she close the door and took off kai’s jacket to hung
“You’re alone? And you didn’t even tell me earlier? What if something happens? Atsuko have I told to be safe? tsk” kai grumbled

“Oh no here you go again over reacting..I can handle myself Mr. takahashi and besides yuko is my neighbor there’s her house..” she pointed at the front left outside
“Even so! That’s not an excuse..Good thing I’m here..I shall be with you tonight..NO BUT’s!” kai overruled her again for being so protective
“Sometimes I wish that our child would not get that attitude of yours..”
“Ehh?? Atsuko that’s so mean!”

“Just teasing you..Now where’s my food?” she excitedly look at his hands holding the paper bag
“Here you go..Ms piggy..”
“What Am I that fat??” she pouted
“You’re not actually fat atsuko..You’re very fat..hahaha” he laughs “Oopps don’t get mad I’m just fooling you around..You’re not fat..As my mom says you’re still sexy and pretty..”
“Hmm f Liar!”

“No I’m not lying, I agree with my mom.. Baby bump isn’t that obvious yet..you’re still slim like a maiden..” kai just looked at her while eating, he was amuse by that seen seeing acchan so cute while piggin’out the pudding and her left hand and the barbeque on the right hand
“Easy there atsuko..It’s all yours..Here drink this you might get choke..” he puts the straw in the mango juice and he made acchan drink it while he’s holding the pack.
“Don’t you wanna eat kai?” she offered
“No thanks..I know that’s not enough for you..” he teases while acchan continues biting,chewing and sipping.


After that small snack feast to her, they both sat on the couch in the living room “Ahh I’m so full kai..Arigatou..” she burps holding her tummy “Excuse me..” she smiled

“Are you satisfied too baby?” kai place his head on her tummy, which made acchan awe in that action “Riku says if you keep talking to the baby, it will recognize your voice, so from on I will be talking to that little angel everyday”

“I’m sure you will be a good father kai..”
“So are you atsuko..a very good mother..”


They decided to watch some movies to kill the time since it’s late, when acchan felt the drowse she told kai “I’m sleepy..”
“Alright you must take some rest now..” kai turn off the movie
“How about you?”
“I guess I’ll be sleeping here in the couch that would do..don’t worry I’m a guy I’m immune on this position..”
“No..That’s so impolite of me..maybe you should sleep in my room as an exchange..”
“Are you sure?”
“Hai..no worries..Just help me grab the futon to put it in my room..” Kai obeyed as what acchan says, he place the foam below her bed, as kai lit off the light and only the lamps were glowing


“Kai..”
“Hmm..?” he answered while his eyes were closed
“Are you and your girlfriend ok now?”
Kai opens his eyes about the sudden question about ray “Yeah..I’ve already settled our status..”
“Sou..” she sighs

“Were officially off..”
“Eh? What? Why?” she rose up and looked at the guy down at the floor lying
“Well..That’s how it goes..I’ve already told her the truth and everything what I’ve felt..I don’t want to lie to her anymore..”
“You don’t love her anymore? Is that what you mean?”
“Un..” Kai just nod

“Haven’t you told me that you’re going to proposed to her? I just can’t believe you’ve change your mind so easily..”
“That was before atsuko..” he rose also and lean his back on the wall so that he could talk to her in a nice position continuing his words “Before I met you..”

Acchan stunned by the guy’s confession“..no..no..chotto..”


Kai rose up again and sit beside her on the bed holding her hands “It’s ok if you wouldn’t believe me..I’m not rushing onto something..as long as I can take care of you and the baby that makes me happy already..As I’ve always said I want you to trust me..I know this feeling is so sudden but believe it or not, each in everyday when I’m with you I feel bliss..”

“You’re feelings..It’s just an infatuation towards the baby and not to me..” she look at him straight
“It’s not atsuko..Even if you were not pregnant I would still fall for you..The baby just lead me to this right feeling..That’s how I defined it..It’s faith..”
“Kai..I would be such dupe if I say I don’t have any feelings for you..But..I just don’t know if this is right..” she admits

“What’s bothering you?”
“I’m just to coward to face the truth..That if I’d say yes I would never let you go..” acchan can’t help her eyes produced tears
“Then don’t..because I’ll be doing the same thing too..I’m not letting you go even of the moon embraces the sun..”
“That’s so impossible kai..The moon will not embrace the sun..”

“I know that’s why I’m swearing the impossible to keep you forever..” kai holds her chin and kissed her gently, slowly laying her on the bed as acchan responded the kiss. She places her hands on kai’s face while her lips keep on replying, they pulled out when they felt the lack of air.
“Kai careful you might push my tummy..”

“Don’t worry I’m on it..I know where to balance..” he smirk as he kiss her again and this time his hands were travelling from her legs, sliding it inside her one piece dress, that reveals her underwear. Kai’s hands went up and up until he reach the soft mounds, not satisfied enough he pulled all the way acchan’s dress that made the girl half naked wearing only her undergarments. She blushes and looked at the other side, as kai remove his clothes also.

“You doesn’t look like pregnant you know..Still so sexy..” he whispers while trailing acchan’s smooth skin “Smooth talker..” acchan replied as she grab kai’s face bite his lips, as they continue the foreplay and sense each other’s heat they finally made it again and become one, this time with love on it. “Still so tight atsuko..” kai moving slowly as he feel the moment of their unity, acchan was biting his ears while releasing the pleasure of moan “Is it me or you’re quite big tonight..” teasing the guy to make it more tense, until they both reach their persuasion to each other that made the two of them exhausted on that night and fall asleep on each other’s arm, making the second memorable night as the start of a new relationship they’ve been wanting.

CHAPTER 6



On their first morning together after that erotic night kai woke up first, still can’t believe that he’s with his angel. He looks at her while still asleep stroking her hair, tracing her jaw line and touching her lips. Doing this consecutively the soon notices and open her eyes slowly, seeing the first the person she wanted to be with. Kai smile to her and greeted good morning and lean to her lips once again as a morning welcome.

“I’m hungry..” the first word she said before greeting him
“Oh wait..let me cook you something, may you lend me you’re kitchen?”
“Of course..but before that..” acchan looked under the blanket “You must put your clothes first..” she chuckled
“Maybe later….” Kai smirk
“Eh? Nani?”

“Later after I give you this…” kai tickles her, that made her wiggle “Kai..Stop that..” she protested while laughing continuously
“I’ll will only stop if you’d kiss me..” kai pout his lips waiting for acchan to move
“I won’t just kiss you baka!” she seizes kai’s lips and gave him a smooth kiss, a smooth kiss that took them so long to pull out.
“Are we going to do the special exercise this morning?” kai spoke while nibbling her neck
“kai…hmm..well..if you say so..” she’s giving him a seductive look that made the guy do it again.
When their exercise session was finish, as promise kai really cooked her breakfast that she requested. Kai being so responsible and sweet as always, manage to feed acchan sharing the same spoon together. He made acchan sit on his lap and feed her.

“Kai..mou..you’re making me lazy on this..You’re spoiling me too much and I think it’s not right anymore..”
“Why? I love to do it..I like to treat you this way even if you’re not pregnant atsuko, even after you give birth I will be always spoiling you..Remember that..” kai looks at her “Now finish this meal and then take a shower so that I can drive you on the way to the store”

“Hai..hmm how about we take the shower together?” she bites her lips
“That’s interesting..I won’t take that as a no..” he smirks
“I know you like it takahashi..” acchan kiss him on the cheeks, until someone rang the doorbell that made the couple pause their sweet moment. Acchan stood up and open the door and surprise by their early visitor.

“Ohayou acchan!” yuko greeted her
“Ohayou yuuchan..You came so early..”
“And you woke up early too that’s a miracle..Can you please let me in?” the small girl mumbled
“Hai..Gomen..Come in..Have you eaten you’re breakfast?”
“Yup..and oh my! You have an early visitor also huh..Earlier than me!” yuko referring to kai as soon as she sees him

“Ohayou Yuko!” kai stand and bowed”Actually I’m not early..I’ve been here last night..” kai continued
“What? You two? Spending the night together? By the way I’m here to check if acchan was alright because her parent were not here..But I guess I’m wrong..You already have a guard huh..”
“Arigatou yuko for doing that to atsuko..” kai bows again showing her gratefulness

“Acchan would you like something to tell me?” yuko raised her eyebrows “Are you together? I mean officially together” she asked directly
“Unn..” acchan smiled and can’t help herself from being shy glimpsing at kai
“Uwaaaa..Just when?? I’m your best friend and you didn’t tell me about this! hmmppp” yuko stomping her foot

“Yuko..It was just last night..” she looked at the brunette girl
“Acchan you sure is fast..Didn’t I told you earlier to hold back the urge?”
“Gomen..I just can’t..As if my hearts gonna explode when he draw near close to me..So I gave in..” she pleaded

“Oh well..You’re already an adult and pregnant too..I’m happy to the both of you..” yuko gave them a sweet grin showing her dimples “Kai you must take care of her, you’re so lucky don’t you know that?”
“I know yuko..I’m not just lucky, my life now is perfect..” Kai answered her
“Yosh..enough of this..Yuuchan just wait a little moment I need to take a shower, Kai would like to come? I need some help up there..” she wink at the guy to pursue their plan taking the bath together.



After how many minutes, the two them go down back and saw yuko fall asleep while waiting, they just chuckled and made yuk woke up, so that they can leave the house. When they arrive at the store yuko immediately share the news to tomochin and miichan about them, that made the two other girls congratulates them for their relationship.

“Atsuko I need to go now..I must change my clothes and go back to the office..I shall pick you up later..”
“Umm..I’ll be waiting..”
“And oh atsuko..Take care and have a nice day..”
“I will..same to you kai..Have a nice day and take a bunch of care for me and the baby..”
“and  atsuko..one more thing again..” kai stops her from going inside and hold her hands “I love you..” he then kiss her, not caring about the customers watching.
“……….I love you too..” she shyly responded after the kiss.



Same routine every day, kai never fails to pick her up and bring her some healthy foods she wants even though she didn’t ask for it. Everything is going well, her pregnancy, her work and her love life. As well as kai he’s more happier now, not just happier but much more happier, he can’t think no more but a safe delivery for her and the baby and a peaceful life in their future. Out of the blue when thinking about the future, the idea just caught his attention. They’re not married yet and soon acchan will gave birth, he doesn’t want his baby to be illegitimate so he connive yuko and the others to plan for a special ceremony. After a month of processing all the documents, acchan is on her fourth month now the bump is now obvious not that big yet but when she wore tight clothes it will be noticeable. Still her body is the same thanks to her fruits and vegetable diet that she can maintain her sliminess. A sexy pregnant that’s how everyone describes her.


On that day, a normal day in the store still busy as always miichan out of the blue dash in the lounge room where acchan and the other’s are busy sketching.

“Acchan..” miichan panted “You have a visitor!”
“Is kai already here? Hmm too early I think..” acchan
“No! it’s not him! It’s the other guy..yamato!” miichan

“Eh?? I thought he’s gone abroad..”tomochin
“Maybe he’s back..” yuko

“Sou desu..Where is he?” acchan calmly put down the sketch pad and the pencil on her table, she stood up gracefully like she’s never bothered at all. Yamato was her ex-boyfriend, the one she was to give her virginity on the night when she makes it with kai 4 months ago. They broke up because her conscience can’t take of what have happened to her and kai during that night, she felt that she betrayed her boyfriend during that time. But later on she didn’t regret it because she found out after how many weeks yamato found a new girlfriend. So she’s at ease that her decision was right.


“Acchan..” the guy called her name
“Yamato kun..long time no see..Sit down..” she accompany her in the lobby area
“How are you acchan? You look great..”
“Am I? Oh thank you..Same also with you look great..” “I’m glad you’ve visited me here..”
“Actually I’ve just arrived yesterday, so I decided immediately to visit you..and here I brought you something chocolates your favorite..” he handed the goodies to her

“That’s so nice thank you….” As soon as she opens it, chocolates made her eyes sparks, but sadly deep in her mind she can’t eat it because of the restrict diet that the doctor told her. Chocolate is a no no! Because the baby might be growing big that would result in caesarian operation, but despite of that she still take it as a respect to the guy. Yamato didn’t notice her tummy because she’s wearing a loose blouse, so the guy doesn’t have an idea that she’s carrying a baby inside her. Not long while their talking Kai arrive at the store, she then sees acchan talking to someone. So he deiced to wait next to them but acchan didn’t notice that he was there, apparently kai was listening to their conversation unintentionally.

“Acchan..I really came back here for you..I want us to start a new life again..I know I’ve been immature during those days but believe me, after we broke up I never regain my happiness anymore” when yamato says this kai just sigh down, he now knows who’s that guy is, it was her girlfriend’s ex.

“Yamato kun..I’m glad to hear that..” When acchan said this kai’s heart was thumping like crazy he wants to interrupt the discussion and show himself but he couldn’t
“But….I think it’s impossible for us to get back..” she continued, as kai really listen carefully to them, he knows this time that this is not unintentionally because he wants to find out what his girl’s answer

“Why? Do you have someone else now?” yamato asked
“Unn and actually were having a baby soon..” she stand up and showed her 4 month old baby bump while smiling sweetly.

“Hhhe? Sou? ” Yamato widened his eyes, as when yuko saw kai listening to the two talking, she quickly half shouted “Acchan! Kai is here!” which made kai surprisingly jump back and clears his throat, when he looked at yuko, the small girl just wink at her and stuck her tongue out and says “gotcha!”

“Kai? Did you just arrive?” acchan ask him
“Ano..just a while ago..” Kai grinning as an excuse

“Yamato I’d like you to meet kai..The father of my child..” “Kai this Yamato..hmm the one I’ve told you before..” she glint her eyes to catch up the phrase to that kai would jive her too.
“Ah yes..Yamato san..Hajimimashite..Takahashi Kai desu..” he offer his hand to shake

“Yorushiku….Himura Yamato desu..” they both shake their hands to each other
“Yamato kun..Would you like to join us inside to have some snack?” acchan

“Ahmm..I think I’d better go now..I’d be going to my grandparents house too and I need to catch the train..”
“Ahh that’s odd..Alright just visit here anytime if you need something ok?”
“Sure..I must go now..Kai..Take care of her and acchan I’m wishing you happiness in your new life..” yamato says his words before waving goodbye.

“Arigatou yamato kun!” acchan waves at him “Kai let’s go inside..” she clings to him
“He’s not that bad after all..” kai spoke
“Hai..Yamato is a kind hearted man..but sometimes naughty..”
“So he brings you some goodies.. I guess you won’t be needing mine..”
“Eh? Mou kai… I still can’t eat those chocolates..besides I love you’re fruits more and I love you..” she kiss him on his cheeks because she knows kai was kinda bit jealous
“Really? You like my presents more?”

“Of course! Don’t feel bad..I know you’re jealous..” acchan teases her
“I’m not!”
“Oh really? So I must eat those goodies he brought I guess..”
“No don’t! Alright I’m a bit jealous can’t help it when he says he wants you back..”
“And you think I would say yes? In this situation?” she pointed down on her tummy
“No..I don’t think that way..It’s just I want you to be mine and mine alone..”
“I’m already yours kai.. ” she cupper his cheeks and then squeeze it as she felt giggle on that part


“Kai!!!” yuko shouted at her and gestures something, then he remembered their plan and nodded to yuko as a response. He then brings acchan to the car and starts the engine.

“Where are we going kai? I need to tell them first that I’m going out..”
“No need atsuko..Just come with me..I already pleaded to yuko about this don’t worry..” Kai drove the car, acchan didn’t notice that behind them was another car following them it was yuko and the others. After a few minutes the destination was not that far so they arrived quickly.

“A church?” acchan curiously asked, kai just nod and he held acchan’s hand stepping down the car. The other vehicle following them suddenly stops and she saw yuko, tomochin, miichan and riku was there holding a veil and a flower.

Kai kneeled down and says “Atsuko..Marry me….I know it’s a bit rush, but I want you to marry me today..I’ve already asked you’re parents consent about this..but I want to do this before you give birth..We can always repeat this moment in a well prepared manner after you delivery..But now onegashimasu..”

“Kai..I’m surprise..I didn’t expect this really…”
“So….? What’s your answer?”

“Would you like me to say no? My answer is YES of course!” she try to hold her tears back but she just can’t, she looked at their friends who was cheering on them.

“Atsuko shall we?” Kai cleave her hands as they go inside the church, he really reserved it today. The people who witness them were their friends even their own parents were not there because it was too rush. Kai pleaded to the both parties of their family that they will make another wedding ceremony for everyone but today he wants it to be just them.


When the ceremony started yuko put the mini veil on acchan’s head and tomochin gave her the flowers. Riku handed the ring and miichan tie the knot. Certainly it was a quick wedding a very rush one, but still they made it and become a couple on that day. When the ceremony ended kai quickly lift her up as she throw the flower back to yuko which made the girl jumpily happy and dash toward her boyfriend riku to snuggle him. They put some banner in the car “JUST MARRIED” and proceed right away to their new house.

“You bought this?” acchan was astonished when she sees the place, it’s just perfect the things and the position just the way she want it.

“Hai..Gomen..I just prepare this in one month..Did you like it?”
“Kai..I can’t ask for more..You and our baby is merely enough for me..Your giving me too much already what can I ask for?”

“I’m glad you like it atsuko..So…What about let’s go upstairs and continue the celebration in the master’s bedroom” kai giving her a wink
“I know what you’re thinking..You little hentai..”

“Ha? I’m not that perverted and furthermore it’s good for your condition too right? Maybe I’ll take that as my advantage..” he grinned “It’s been a while since we’ve done this atsuko” kai says while taking his breath “We did this just last week right? You call that a while? Kai..Slowly or else I’ll be making it first..” she warned her partner “If you do make it first, then I shall do another round” they move their body in synch like dancing, making the night passionate as the smell of air was  the arousing heat from their body. Making another memorable night but this time in a legal way as husband and wife.

CHAPTER 7 A




She’s on her 6 month now, 3 more months and the final day comes. As kai had promise they went to the mall to buy her some maternity dresses and to prepare the baby’s nursery things too. Acchan’s tummy is now very obvious but still she hasn’t gained her physical weight except for her belly. Kai was the one of course pushing the shopping cart, once they’ve done to the maternal section they immediately proceed to the nursery section which made the two them excited on choosing things. They both choose a neutral color since they didn’t check the baby’s gender because they want it to be surprise.


As acchan was busy looking for some baby stuff, when she look at the other side she saw a familiar face, a girl’s face whom she saw before but she just can’t remember where. The girl looked at her too in a far distance but acchan’s sure that the girl was looking at them. Until she remembered where she saw the girl, it was on kai’s room before when she first went to their house and falls asleep in her husband room. The girl was ray, she was right on this because of the long hair. When she was about to call kai about what she saw the girl disappeared.


“Kai..I swear I saw her..” she insisted

“That’s impossible atsuko..She’s not here in the country right now.. maybe you’re just seeing someone else that really looks like her and besides you just saw her on the picture right?” kai refused to believe her because as far as he know Ray his ex girlfriend was not here
“Maybe you’re right..” they continued their shopping, indeed acchan was right it was really ray. The girl knew that they were together but she didn’t know that the two were already married because they made the ceremony a very private one.

“So she’s the one you’ve replace me..I will win you back kai..You will regret this..”



When the couple finish shopping they dropped their belongings on the house and kai drove acchan back to the store because she wants to continue her designs in advance because she knows that sooner she will be taking her maternal leave as soon as she gives birth and she doesn’t want to dump the work to her friends. As soon as they reached the store acchan waves her goodbye as always but this time kai felt something weird his wife’s smile was different that made him worried. He can’t explain why but he has this feeling that something bad might happen. So he decided not to go his office but acchan assures her that she will be fine. Even kai protested he asked miichan and the others to give him a call right away. He wants to make sure that his wife was safe as always.


A few hours when kai had left an elegant customer appeared in the store asking some new designs and new fabrics, but indeed this wasn’t her purpose at all. After the long talk to the staff the customer ask some few questions regarding the owner of the shop, the staff didn’t hesitantly answer it as they revealed the name.


“Are they here? I mean the designer atsuko..I really want to meet her because of her designs” she pleaded
“Ah yes mam’ she’s here..Inside the lounge..”
“Can you call her..I really want to discuss something with her..” the assistant immediately call acchan. But in her disappointment yuko was the one who came out.

“Sumimasen..Would like to discuss it with me rather than acchan..She’s a bit tired because of her situation right now..” yuko shielded her friend
“Is she alright?” the girl asked

“Hai..very much fine..But she’s pregnant..You know pregnant women easily get tired..”
“Oh how pity..I’m so excited to meet her..” she begged, when acchan stand up to get more fabrics she heard the girl pleading for her appearance so she decided to go out.

“Acchan? Why did you go here.. I can handle this..” yuko said, acchan was shocked seeing the girl, she felt something, her gasped her both hands and held it to her tummy the girl was ray, what is she doing here, that’s the only thing came on her mind. She felt guilty at the time and worried.

“Maeda atsuko eh? Finally I’ve met the bitch who stole my boyfriend” Ray sharply said in front of her
“Choto? You’re Ray? You deceived us! Pretending you want something!” yuko grit her teeth

“Out of the way..I have nothing to do with you..” Ray said to yuko
“What do you want?” acchan spoke

“I want Kai back! and while you’re here he won’t do that because of you and that stupid reason he’s protecting..” Ray was pointing to the baby, when acchan heard this she felt her claws in her hands and without any second thought she slapped the girl in her strength. When ray was return her face to her she then rapidly extends her hands too to slapped back but yuko hold her hands that made acchan safe.

“Leave!” yuko seriously speak like she was about to explode
“Don’t get in my way! Let me go!!!” when Rya was protesting indeed yuko can’t handle her because she was taller , she pushed yuko and got acchan. She pushed her too that made acchan bent on the ground. One of the staff immediately called tomochin and miichan who rush towards them.

“You bitch!!!” yuko quickly stand and pushed ray

“Yuko….my belly hurts..” acchan was crying in pain

“SHIT..you’re bleeding acchan!” tomochin panicking

“Miichan call an ambulance!” yuko shouted

“This was your fault!!! You pushed her!” yuko was very angry to Ray, while ray was just still in her prominent position not even helping “Tomochin call kai now!”

CHAPTER 7B




The sound of ambulance was dashing on the way to the hospital, yuko was beside her while tomochin and miichan was left on the store to fix some other things before following them. On that panick moment they didn’t notice ray leave the scene like a bubble pop out in air.

“Kai..” tomochin called kai
“Moshi moshi..Oh Tomochin..Why a sudden call?” he answered calmly while looking at the documents on his table.

“Acchan is on the hospital right now..She’s bleeding!” she immediately said the bad news
“What??! Atsuko in the hospital? What happened?”
“Better come there right now..Yuko will explain everything..See you there miichan and I were going there too..” Tomochin ended the call after she gave the hospital’s name.


When acchan arrives at the hospital Riku was there already waiting for them, yuko called him while in the ambulance and luckily riku was on the near hospital checking some of his patients. He assist the nurse carrying acchan and put her on the stretcher, acchan was still conscious but feeling the abrupt pain in her tummy while still bleeding. Yuko didn’t let go of her hand as they both holding each other nervously.

“Yuuchan I’m sorry, this is you’re limit..I shall take care of her..” Riku notify his girlfriend, yuko really didn’t show her tears in her best friend instead she showed her a courageous face because she knows that if she cries acchan will feel her weakness. So she strongly vibe the anxiousness she felt right now.
“Yuko..I want to see kai..” acchan says while feeling her pain

“He’s coming acchan..Stay still and keep strong..Think about the baby..” Yuko’s last words before riku pushed the stretcher on the emergency room.
Not long after kai was running to the hospital’s hallway panting “Yuko..Where are they?”

“Kai finally..She’s looking for you just a while ago..Riku bring her in the emergency room..” yuko pointed
“I’m so worried..I can’t explain my feelings right now..Lately this day I feel I don’t want to leave her but I did and now this happens! I’m blaming myself for this yuko! Forgive me!” Kai cried hardly despite being a guy he can’t control his emotions this time “I wish I was the one in her situation..She’s having the baby and now I don’t know what will occur..”

“Kai don’t blame yourself..This isn’t your fault” yuko finally spoke out “That girl Ray you’re ex, she did this..She push acchan that cause her to bleed..I was there on that scene too but I just can’t hold her because she’s more taller..” yuko looked down while wiping her own tears

“Ray did this?” he can’t believe the when he heard her name “But why?” he asked
“Simply because she’s blaming acchan and the baby..”

“When were in the mall atsuko told me that she saw Ray but I didn’t believe her because all I thought that ray wasn’t here in the country..but with this incident I’m blaming myself more! I didn’t believe her!”

“Kai calm yourself there’s nothing we can do anymore..Acchan is already here..”
“I just can’t believe that Ray would go this far..I should have known it..I’m not being cautious for atsuko’s safety..”


An hour has passed when acchan was on the emergency room, kai in this situation can’t calm his walking back and forth “Kai will you please sit down I know how’d you feel but your almost making a trail line there” miichan pointing at the floor where kai was continuously walking side by side.

“Kai relax..We’re all worrying..Miichan’s right better sit here and calm yourself, I’m sure my riku is doing his best to the both of them” yuko suggested as he obeyed the girl he sit and lean his head back thinking good moments with acchan to keep his head calm. As the clock go on with its ticking to run the time, kai saw riku and talk to him straightly he listen carefully as what the doctor shall implied “Kai..We came on this decision..Due to complications we must choose between acchan and the baby..The two of them can’t make it and I need your decision about this..” hearing this made him more pathetic, his heart were being crush he can’t speak no more and his body is shaking.


“No..no riku..I don’t want this to happen..no!!!” he shouted

“Kai!?!! Wake up!” he felt someone tapped him, it’s her mother, he quickly hug her “Mom it was a bad dream..Atsuko and the baby..I just don’t know what to do if anything will happen to them..” he cried like a child sobbing in his mothers shoulder.

“I know my son..” his father was there too “That’s why we’re here..But I want you to be strong..”
“Dad how can I be strong in this situation..This is my weakness! And I’m being shot directly..”
“That’s why I want you to endure it..Your my son and I know you can..If you’re going to give up now, you can’t protect them..I know it’s hard but you’ve got to do it..I know acchan is doing her best right now.. ” his dad encouraging him

“Thanks dad..” he clears his throat, wipe his wet cheeks and face his parents.
Unexpectedly someone came in the hospital that made their blood heat up to their head.

“Huh and you have the guts to come here?!” yuko shouted that made everyone looked at the person.

“Kai..” She runs towards the guy and hug him “Let go of me!” he sway his arms
“Kai..I need to explain..I just wanted to talk to her..” Ray showing her sympathy
“Fake!” miichan
“Liar!” tomochin

“And most of all such a Loser B*tch!” yuko clenching her hands “You did that on purpose! If you wanted to talk to her you would do it in a nice way but you made it in a scandalous way..You even blame the baby!”

“I did not!” Ray insisting her lie
“You can’t hide your words in our camera..Were fully equipped with cctv baka!” tomochin
“Kai..You don’t believe them right?” Ray facing the guy

“Stop this Ray..We all know the truth..So please..Go or I might something do stupid that’ll you regret from coming here..” he talks to her in calm manner way.

PAK a smooth slap land on ray’s face “Leave…” Kai’s mother did her move in her own will “I respect you for being my son’s girlfriend before and treated you nicely, but I didn’t imagine you would act like this desperately, I guess kai’s right when he decided to broke up with you because I can’t take you as my daughter in law”

“Minako..that’s enough..” kai’s father shielded her from having another slap
“Kai..please..I’m begging you..I would do anything..Just come back..” she still ask for her chance

“Do you think I would just say yes and forget what happen? My wife and my child is on critical condition because of you! And now you’re asking me to love you back? Can you answer it yourself the question you’d been begging me..If you can answer that you really are awesome!”

“Wife?” Ray repeated the word
“Yes you fool! Their married!” yuko lift kai’s hand to show the ring “Oh I’m sorry they’ve done it privately and besides why would they inform you?”

“No! I won’t accept this..Kai??! please”
“If you will not leave I shall call the police to sue you personally..” kai’s mother warned her that made her leave, crying for her defeat and the hurtful truth she discovered.

“Whoa sugooii! You’re mother is splendid kai!” yuko says to him

“Yeah..I just knew it today also..” he stared at her mother when the door of the emergency room opens the tall doctor call them wearing out his gloves that made yuko sparkle her eyes forgetting a moment the situation “ehem” riku distract yuko for gazing to him too much “Minna..” he spoke to them and remove his glasses.

At first I read this fic, I was like 'Wow, Love Polygons?', Okay, I'm just so lazy to wrote all of my thoughts about each chapters, so, I'll just skipped to this chapter.

Okay, What business does Ray have with Acchan? Jealousy? No wonder, Why Takamina manage to keep them both? Wasn't it bothersome enough? As Acchan was pregnant, it meant They already married. And, I was so shocked, about Ray don't even know that AtsuMina already married...? That's a question. LOL. Now, Let's just hope that Acchan and Her Baby was entirely fine. And, Takamina's dream about 'have to choose one of them', don't make it come true. But, If it come true, Then maybe, Takamina'll just chose Acchan instead, because someday, Acchan would've another Baby, right? So, It's simple. But, It's the opposite for Acchan. So, I'm guessing that Acchan will choose her Baby than her own life. She must thinks that, If she just aborted her Baby, then After all this time, It's just a waste to keep the Baby, while she already taking care of it, the entire years, and it was like the Happiest moment for AtsuMina. So, yeah... I just like the Plot and the Twist. However, I Love the whole story. <3 ; A ;

CHAPTER 8





“Minna..” he spoke to them and remove his glasses “Glad your all here..”
“Riku how is she?” Kai dash towards him

“They are both safe now kai..” riku patted him “Good thing acchan is very much healthy as well as the baby..The exercise really does help eh?”  he winks at the guy “The baby really hold on to her mother..In a moment she will be now transfer in the private ward, we still need to admit her”

They all out a deep sigh hearing the good news “I shall follow right away in acchan’s ward, I need to discuss the pros and cons about it..”
Kai was very relief hearing his friend’s info “Riku..Arigatou..I really can’t express my gratitude..”

“That’s my job kai and acchan was very brave, she tolerates all the pain because we didn’t gave her any medication because of her situation and she remained conscious, didn’t even closed her eyes.”

Few minutes passed one of the nurse gave them the signal that the patient is well prepare and they‘re all allowed to visit her in the room. Kai entered first, as he opens the door he immediately saw his girl lying on the bed.

“Atsuko…” quickly holding her hands
“Kai…Gomen..I made a reckless move and..”

“Shhh..Don’t say no more it’s not your fault..I know what happened and please don’t mind that for now, I want you to rest..” he touches her tummy “You did a great job too little one..Keep holding to mommy until the last day ok?” talking to his baby at the time he can’t help shed his tears while looking at her.
As Riku entered the room he then explains the situation “Acchan I want you to promise me to be more healthy than ever and please refrain from having such deep emotions, kai I know your taking care of her but this time make it full time, be at her side as possible because her current situation now although she endure the bleeding it might happen again if overdo it and I don’t want that to happen because I maybe can’t handle it..Do I make myself clear to the both of you?” the couple nodded to him

“Arigatou riku..” acchan
“Kai..from now on you must watch acchan always and I want you to take a leave in the company to make sure her safety, don’t worry I still can handle the company I’m not that old you know..” his father telling him.

“Thanks Dad..I owe you this time..”
“We shall send you some maids in your home too, I don’t want acchan to handle the household chores anymore and I’m making sure of this” his mom added

“Atsuko we can do this right?” he planted a kiss on her forehead
“Unn..as long as your with me..”

After two days acchan was finally release from the hospital and back to her same routine but this time she’s just randomly visits the store to take a lot of bed rest, exercise and arranging the nursery room for their upcoming first born. Same as kai he obeys his father’s advice to take a leave in his work so that he can surely guard her beloved’s safety.

“Atsuko…What do you prefer about the baby’s gender?”
“Hnnn..Any..As long as it’s healthy..”

“Hai that’s the most important one..Maybe we should think some names..”
“Kai..I want you to name the baby..I want you to be the one to choose it..” she smiles
“Eh? Sure? How about we share?”
“No..I’m giving it to you..” She kisses him on the lips that made kai agree no more, he just can’t resist acchan that anything she says he will always agree.
“Alright..This is a hard task..I really need to think it carefully..”
“Maybe you should list all the your favorite words to create a good one..” acchan giving him a hint “Sou..That would be great..” he replied

“ano..Atsuko..”
“Hai?” not looking at him because she’s busy putting some designs on the crib
“I have something to give you..Forgive me I just can’t help it, I really want to give this on your birthday next week but it excites me a lot..”
She turned around facing him “ Nani? You’re excitement really dominates you takahashi..”

“Your now a takahashi too”
“Ow..I forgot..”
“Atsuko! Don’t you forget that..You had my name now..” he pouted
“Just teasing..What is that something that you want to give?”

“Actually..This..” he showed a necklace that has a twin heart pendant “My grandma gave this to me before she died..She said to me that I must only gave this necklace to the girl whom I will love for the rest of my life..so I decided to customize it before giving it to you..I embark our names on it kaixatsuko just like our rings..” he gave it to her
“So wonderful kai..Thank you..” giving her innocent smile before she hugs him

“Let me put it on you..” Kai kissed her neck leaving her a mark there after he puts the necklace “I shall give you another present next week I guess..”
“No need…This is already much..And I really like it..By the way on my birthday..I just want to celebrate it as simple as possible..Maybe a dinner would do..” she suggested

“Really? I was planning to have a party..”
“Just reserve that in a special moment..”
“But you’re birthday is special too..”
“In my situation now, I don’t want some crowded events..I want a solemn moment..”
“Gomen..I didn’t consider that..” he pleaded
“Daijoubu desu..I promise that when the baby comes out..I shall be the one to spoil you..Like that?”

“Very much my darling..” he made a quick response on her grinning and they kiss again like there’s no tomorrow, everyday doing that moment as sweet as before, even sweeter I mean.


The next week came so fast and today it was her birthday, as promised they made it a very simple celebration the only guests are their family and their closest friends. It was half past noon when they started it, when the others are busy talking to acchan, kai can’t calm himself waiting something on the front gate.

“Kai dude? Not yet? I told you to order those earlier..” riku talks to him in low volume so that the others can’t hear them.
“I should have believe you riku..gahhh their so late! Maybe I should fetch it myself..”
“Are you sure?”
“I guess so..Maybe few more minutes when it’s still doesn’t arrive I should go.. ”

Indeed it really doesn’t arrive what he’s been waiting so the small guy decided to fetch what he ordered. “Atsuko..I just need to get something for you..”
“But there’s nothing I ask..”

“No there’s something missing on your birthday and I need to get it..I’d really ordered it..but it seems their late so I need to get it myself..”
“Kai…..” she pouted but the guy still claim what he had to do, so acchan let him, kissing her in the forehead “Happy birthday again atsuko..Take care and don’t eat too much sweets..” he smiled sweetly to her, acchan looks at him till he start the car engine while his window was still open waving each other.


Hours came by and it’s almost night still kai doesn’t come back, she’s trying to call him but no answer. Acchan felt some uneasy while yuko and the other’s were trying to calm her because it’s not good to her.


“He’s gone too long..I’m worried..”
“There there acchan..Maybe it was really a huge surprise for you..” yuko
“But still..it’s been 3 hours already..”
“Alright I’m going to check on him acchan..You girls stay here..” Riku “What happen to that guy..The shop isn’t that far away..” he mumbled
“Riku..Don’t be like kai..Go straight here right away as long as you sees him” yuko reminding him
“Hai yuuchan..”  he winks


While riku is driving he was trapped in a big traffic, he decided to ask some info what causes the traffic, one of the private vehicle driver told him that there was an accident not far from where they are, so he walk meters away to tend to look the incident because he’s a doctor maybe he can help that’s what he thought. Upon his vision, he can’t see clearly the exact scene so he still walks closer. Riku gasped as he saw the car, he’s sure that it was kai’s vehicle, the color, the design and the plate number. So rapidly runs toward the location and showed his identity as a doctor to the police so that he can crossed the police line.
“What happen here sir?” he asked the police

“This truck came along and overtake on the road and unfortunately this car was hit.” The police pointing at kai’s car
“Where’s the person here?” he felt his own voice shaking

“The rescue team was leading him on the way to the nearest hospital..” hearing this without any words he dash to the said hospital, he proclaimed himself to be with the person because apart from being a doctor he was his friend. So they allowed him to do what he can help.
It was indeed kai as he saw his friend lying with much blood on his face coming from his head “Kai..Oh God why did this happen..” riku thinks only one thing now of how he could say this to acchan.

On their home their anxiousness increases every time an hour pass. When Yuko’s mobile rang that made all of them look at her before answering the call. “It’s riku..” She said “Riku kun?” he heard his girlfriend’s voice, Riku decided to call yuko first because he just don’t know how to say it to acchan.

“Yuuchan..” she can feel there’s something’s wrong
“Where are you? Have you found kai?”
“hai..I found him..”
“Phew..That’s good sweetheart..So are you where are you guys now? It’s late you know and we’ve been waiting here like almost 4 hours..”
“Yuuchan..I found kai..But in the hospital..He got an accident and his critical..”
“Riku! That’s not a good joke!”

“Just when did I tell you a joke ever since we’ve met? None right? I’m serious and I’m more worried about acchan..” yuko drafted her breath hearing her boyfriend’s confession

“Yuko? What happen? Something wrong?” acchan walks to her, riku can hear their conversation as yuko didn’t end the call yet, she just put her hand down still holding her mobile.

“Acchan..It’s kai…”
“Why? What about him????”

“He’s on the hospital..He got an accident..” yuko hold her hands, acchan felt her knees weakened and bend unconsciously, miichan then catches her and made her sit on the couch while they gave them water, she was trembling, her heart was beating so fast that she can hear it inside she felt she wanted to give birth for the impulsive pain, her hands were shaking catching her own breath.

“Calm down..I know it’s not the right word to say but just for the baby you need to calm down physically and emotionally..” yuko told her
“Yuko….” She release her weep hardly “I wanna see him..Please take me to kai..onegai..”

“Riku says..We can go there tomorrow..Because he was still in the surgery right now..”

She had no choice but to follow what the expert says but undeniably she can’t sleep at all, waiting for the sun to burst its rays so that she could go to her beloved. When she got there, along with her in-laws comforting her so much that she could really feel their sympathy towards her and encouraging her to be strong for the sake of the child she’s bearing.


5 days past still kai is sleeping on the ward, acchan comes there every day because she was not allowed to stay overnight. She was the one who always stays with him and talking to him randomly anything just to ease the sadness and pain she felt. Until the moment they’ve been waiting for, kai moved her hands it was a sign that he’s about to wake up, riku was there observing him until he lastly opens his eyes. He saw many faces looking at him, he’s in a white room he thinks, he can’t move well because of some apparatus still attached to his body the first thing he feels was he is hungry. He was happy when he saw his family his parents, his friends and someone unfamiliar to him that called his name.

“Kai..” she spoke his name “I’m so happy you’re awake..”
“My son..You made us worried..” He looks at her mother “Mom..What happen? Am I sick?” he’s curious

“You’ve had an accident kai and you were sleeping 5 days straight..” Riku explained
“Really?”
“Yes dude..You car was hit by a truck that made you critical..”
“Sou ka..”

“Kai..Feeling better right now? I’ve miss you so much..” acchan was crying in front of him, but he just look to her in curiosity trying to recall all the happenings where he replays all the faces in his brain before he said “Who are you?”

This is my first time commenting here. Because, I'm just a silent reader of yours. xDDD Let's just back to the story, When I thought Everything was fixed, THIS came up again. It's just full of Complications. Like, really. Previously, I just worried over Acchan & The Baby's Safety. But, now. When they already like, a, somewhat, Happy Couple, He got an Amnesia. ;_: Well, I just hope, at least, In that kind of state, Kai doesn't get Acchan Sad. Well, You know what I meant. >:DDD

This is too cliche, too much drama, and yet I like it. I wonder why.. I just hope he doesn't remember Ray too and for example falls in love with Tomochin for more drama. That would be more drama than ever, but at least it would be entertaining. So um yeah, thank you for that update - I know I'm late at commenting. And please come back here soon!

CHAPTER 9






“Who are you?” he said, they were all shocked on the sudden question

“Kai..She’s acchan..Your wife..” his mother told him, acchan was pinned on that position looking at him

“….I just dreamed about you..But I don’t know your name..And I’m married? But I’m still on college”

When Riku heard this he immediately called the doctor who’s an expert on this “Sou…This situation rarely happen, but in his case, the patients memory was moved back five years ago..As you’ve know amnesia has no cure, We just have to wait if he remembers everything but still this is not an assurance  because there’s also a possibility that he would not remember it forever” the doctor explained

They were more worried on acchan because they don’t want her to depress at her body state right now. She’s listening carefully to the doctor while glancing at her husband, on her mind this isn’t the time to give up instead being thankful that kai is still alive.

“As his wife I know this is difficult but don’t lose hope, a person with amnesia has only lost his memory but not his feelings. I know kai would recognize you not physically but emotionally” the doctor encouraging her

“Arigatou..I shall do that Doctor..I know my husband..I shall help him remember everything..” she calmly smiled that made everyone relief but deep inside she has no idea where to start doing that.


After almost 2 weeks staying in the hospital the doctor finally release takahashi kai. Kai’s parent’s offers acchan to stay in their house so that they can help and monitor about their son’s memories, but acchan insisted she wants to do it on her own, so the adult respect her decision as his wife.

“Acchan dear..Please tell us right away if anything happens were just a call away..” Kai ‘s mom hold her hands.

“We will be definitely go here as fast as lightning take more care of yourself your bearing a life inside you don’t have to be too stress out.. ” she nods and show off her smile to her mother in law, they were  even more worried about her than kai.

“kai my son.. I know this is hard for you too but we already talk about this man to man in the hospital right? And you agreed with me.. This is your life now..no..they are your life now.. Just take it easy to understand all of this.. Yes it will be hard, but no one wants this to happen.. We are not forcing you remember everything, we only want you to start a new memory with us and especially with your family” His father talk to him seriously.

“I will dad, I will do everything in my part and yeah slowly..I know I can abide this situation, destiny is testing me..” he replied.

“Kai..dear..Take good care of wife she’s  in her delicate stage..” his mom patted him on shoulder

“Ahh Daijoubu  desu.. I will be taking care of him, kai has just come out from the hospital..We’ll be alright” acchan bow her head a little to her in laws.


When the adults were gone, the couple went inside to their room to fix some things, acchan organizing kai’s medicines making sure to separate it by name and by schedule while kai just look at her in the mirror. Silence filled the master’s bedroom where before it was the happiest place for them where they can be alone and have their own private time. The clock was the only sound ticking both of them can merely hear their heartbeat, so quite that even birds can be deaf.

“ano..” they both said it together

“uhmm” and again

“You first” and again until they both smile

“Anything kai?” acchan quickly grab the opportunity to talk first.

“n..nothing, I just want to know how do I call you..before I had this accident..” he shyly asked awkwardness appears in his face.

His wife give him a sweet smile and sit beside him on bed “You used to call me by my first name..unlike the others they call me by my nick, but you’re different and you’re the only one who called me that..”

“Atsuko??”

“Uhn..”

“Atsuko….Atsu..ko..”

“hai…?” acchan drew near closer to him as he say her name repeatedly.

“I like your name..atsuko..I felt like my mouth love to say it..” acchan’s face flushing red in a moment and avoid their eye contact. Kai notice something in her.

“Your pendant..I gave it right?”

“Yes..You remembered?” a small light of hope open in acchan’s heart

“I do remember the pendant because my grandmother gave it to me.. she said I will heir that to someone I love the most..”

“You gave it to me as my birthday present before you got the accident..”

Kai hold her hands “I’m sorry if I don’t remember anything about you.. but I’m sure I really love you because even that pendant I gave it to you..”

“You even put our names on it..” she showed it to him, that made kai hold his head trying to remember everything but ended up aching “arrhhhhgg”

“Kai????” acchan panicked

“I’m fine.. I wish I could turn the time back..Im sorry..”

“No need..Don’t overdo it.. You’re still not fully recovered” she laid his head on the bed made him rest and cover him blanket. “Just rest okay? No need to hurry..We have lots of time.. Let’s do it slowly and let’s do it together..” kissing him on the forehead, when she was about to stand kai grab her hand and touch her baby bump.

“I just hope you won’t give up on me even if I can’t recover from this memory lost..”

“I won’t..I vowed..We vowed in sickness and in health till death do we part..” her tears were about to fall but she endured it, not showing any weakness to her husband. Thinking that this is the time kai needed her, she must not fail.



Days passed again slowly from scratch kai was getting to know acchan and his old life, their hobbies, their favorite time together from movies to music, from food to places and more. Showing some pictures when they were together as kai asking from when and where acchan whole heartedly answers it reminiscing those times.

“Atsuko?”

“Nani?”

“Just where did we met? You haven’t told me that yet..”

Acchan gulp and pause for a moment before she could answer back “it’s like we met accidentally” she continues to scan some pics.

“Like how? and where?”

DEG DEG DEG in her deep breath “We made love accidentally..” acchan releasing a deep sigh.

“Honto DESU??” her wife nods.

Until the door bell rang

“Ah it must be yuko and riku..” acchan says

“Let me open it..” kai volunteered, and acchan was left in the living room but still she can see him. As he opened the door a surprisingly visitor visits.

“Kaiii…” The girl worriedly hugs him, kai looks back to his wife asking in her eyes “Who is she?” as acchan stands narrowing her eyes on their sudden visitor.

“The nerve! How dare you show your face here??” Another visitor shouting outside to the girl how hugs kai.

“Yuuchan calm down..” Riku was behind her.

“No..” she swayed her boyfriends approach on her hands and grab the girls arms pulling it to stay away from kai.

“Ahh Sumimasen for the rude greeting of my girlfriend” Riku plead

“You don’t have to that riku kun.. she deserves it! What are you up to now bitch?” yuko looking at her

“Im just here to visit kai..I heard he got an accident..” imposingly answer.

“No need to Ray.. Kai is fine now..” Acchan coldly answered

“Chotto.. What’s goin on? Atsuko? Riku dude? and Yuko? Can someone tell me who is she?”

“Kai you..you don’t remember me? I’m ray….”

“Your ex..” acchan continued. “Seriously Ray.. Leave us..Don’t let me call the guards to drag you..I still remember what you did to me..” In just one command Ray leave at once, but marking them a sight that she will come back.

“Sasuga acchan! That’s my girl!” yuko cheering her

“Let’s go inside..I’m still confused here..” kai offering them their house as he assist her pregnant wife.



As they explain ray’s identity kai listen’s carefully, it was riku who was telling the whole story about Ray being his fiancée, they broke up, and the wrong action ray did that almost cause acchan and their baby’s lost.

“I can’t believe she did that all..”

“She loves you so much..” acchan interrupts

“Still it’s wrong..” yuko shook her head.

“I need to talk to her..” kai suddenly blurt out.

“No need dude..” riku attempts to change his mind

“I need to..There’s something in me tells me to do it.. Atsuko? Will it be alright?”

Honestly she’s against but she still say yes “Do what you want kai if that will help you..”  Release a sweet smile but her heart is worried,  kai meet ray first so many what if’s in her mind but the most agonizing to all is…. what if kai fall in love to ray again? She’s his ex fiancée and they almost get married. She can’t set this aside on her mind because kai is still starting to know her too.

“Kai!” Ray hugged him “I’m so glad you set up this meeting for the two of us I’m so happy Kai..”

“I just wanted to talk some things with you and sorry if I arrived late, I was just waiting for someone to accompany Acchan” Kai explained.

“No need to elaborate Kai I already knew that” She sudden changes her mood when she heard the name.

“May I sit?” Kai politely ask.

“No not there, Sit here with me in the couch..We can’t talk properly if you’re so far away to me..Right?” Ray smiled.

“Yeah you have a point” Kai loosen up his tie as he felt uneasy with the atmosphere around them.

“So tell me Kai, what do you want to know about me?.. or about us?” Ray attempts to remove Kai’s coat.

“W..wait..What are you doing?” Kai astounds.

 “Relax I just want your coat off, it seems you’re so bulky” Ray took off his coat, hung it and go back to the couch facing the curious guy.

“Ray..”

“Hai?”

“How long we’ve been together?”

“As far as I know we’ve been in a relationship for almost two years..”

“Quite long..Am I a good boyfriend to you?”

“Very..You’re every girls dream Kai..That’s why when we broke up my world tore apart..” 

“I’m sorry about that Ray..”

“I always remember how you caress my cheeks, how you hold my hand so tight even if you’re driving, how you look at me so sweetly and how you say how much you love me..”

“I wish I can have my memory back..”

“But..Kai..We can always make a new one..Start all over again..”

“…What do you mean?”


Ray move closer to him and look him in the eyes “When we broke up, I plead that I’ll win you back.. When you got married I stay away but now your condition is not stable, your memory has gone and I don’t care if you’re married and will be having a child. All I know is that I still have a chance because there’s a possibility you would love me again like before.”


“….Ray” Kai didn’t resist the girl’s lips when she kisses him.

“He’s not answering” Acchan tried to called her husband.

“Maybe he doesn’t arrived yet and he’s still driving..You know he’s driving carefully now..” Miichan making her friend calm.

“You’re right..Maybe I’m just paranoid..” The pregnant women smiled.

“Don’t think too much..How about we spend our time thinking the baby’s name?”

“Mm...I made Kai think the name of our child but..”

“But what?” Miichan curiously asked.

“That was before when he got the accident and obviously he doesn’t remember it” She sighed.

“That’s not a problem let’s just think the name! It’s just an alternate option incase Kai won’t get back his memories until you give birth” Miichan enlightened her mood until out of the blue the picture frame on the wall drops that made the frame cracked. Acchan was about to pick it up.

“Yamete Acchan..Let me do it” Miichan immediately volunteered and pick the frame. “It’s your wedding picture, maybe the screw loosen up that’s why it dropped”

“I hope so..” She place her hand on her necklace and holds it feeling a bit nervous thinking a lot of things that made her stun for a moment.

Miichan snap her finger “Are you alright?”

“Ahh Hai..”

“Hey don’t think this as a bad sign or whatever I know what you’re thinking I know you, this is just an accident this is not an omen ok?”

“Okay..” Still her heart is not stable she knows something will happen.

Ray was about to unbutton Kai’s clothes while their lips busy to one another but Kai grab her hands and pulled out from the kiss.

 “Chotto..This isn’t right Ray..I didn’t come here to have a passionate moment with you”

“Don’t tell me you didn’t like it you even replied to my kisses”

“I did reply but it doesn’t mean I like it, I’m a guy and that’s our instinct but to do more than that..I just can’t ..I’m married…”

“…..Why don’t we drink..just to celebrate our meet up again..it’s been a while since we talk like this..” The girl changes the topic.

“Am I hardcore drinker?”

“Yes you are….and you won’t get easily drunk..” She lied while busy mixing the vodka shots.

“Sou..but I guess I’ll limit myself to one bottle only because I’m still driving and I need to be cautious I might get into another accident again”

They spend the night together talking their past reminiscing the old days. Kai kept asking her random question about his attitudes and all until he didn’t notice that they’ve consumed 4 bottles already. Kai checked his mobile and worriedly open the messages and the missed calls Acchan made. He quickly stand and to return a call but suddenly. BLAG! His vision spins 360 that made him fall from his knees drops his gadget.

 “Kai!” Ray shouted look at him smiling. “You’re still the same Kai..As expected even though you lost your memory you still easily get drunk” She lifted his shoulder and drags him on the couch to rest properly.

Acchan woke’s up again and saw the sleeping Miichan beside her. Although she’s expecting Kai to be home at this hour, her mobile has still no reply from her husband that makes her worry so much. She’s checking the clock form time to time and attempts to call him again but still no answer.

“Kai where are you and what happen there..” She looks at their wedding picture that fell earlier on the wall. “Kai..” She sighed again and kept hoping that her beloved will be home soon.

CHAPTER 10 B


4:00am

Like a speed of light a sudden flashback scene came to Kai’s mind. He saw a girl screaming at him on the same room and both of them were naked on bed, the girl was his wife. Acchan screaming at her in disgraced because of the one night stand that happened to them. He recovers his consciousness when he saw that scene that made him woke up. Kai tries to remember the scene and succeed for a few more memory this time the scenario was he found out that he made the girl pregnant. Attempting for more memory flashbacks he closes his eyes and tried again to remember but headache attacks him.

As he opens back his eyes he saw Ray at his side sleeping silently but he was alarmed when he saw his body naked and wearing only his boxer shorts. Kai slowly move trying not to wake up the girl beside him, his eyes searching for his clothes and when he found it he instantly put them on.

Kai POV “..Did something happened to us? Why am I almost naked? ” Somehow on his distress he felt a positive feeling when he thought of the memory he has just regain. He saw his mobile lying on the floor and decided not to call back his wife instead he just mailed it because in his mind he doesn’t want to disturb her in sleep at this hour.

He was fully dressed now like the time he arrived at the place, he decided to leave a note to the sleeping girl beside him when he was about to write it down Ray stirs her arms and extends it upon knowing that she can’t feel the guys body anymore her eyes made a quick look. She saw the guy standing near the bar counter.

“Kai?”

“…Ray you’re awake..” Kai was surprised.

“What are you doing?”

“I was about to write a message for you but I guess no need you’re conscious now..”

“You’re leaving already?”

“Of course..It’s almost sunrise and I know my wife is worried..Ray I’m sorry about what happened I’ve been drunk and…yeah I’m really sorry..” Kai uttered his words he doesn’t know what to say because he doesn’t remember if anything happen to them or none.

“Nothing to be sorry Kai..Besides I enjoy the night being with you..”

Kai frown a bit he don’t know how to respond that kind of phrase. He doesn’t want to think that something really happen to them. On the contrary Ray sneaks her smile she knows the guy’s thought.

Ray POV “I won’t beg you this time Kai I will have you back in your own will”



Kai safely arrived at their house tipping his toes he opens the door of their room. There he saw his wife and Miichan sleeping soundly on their bed. He decided to sleep on the guest room instead he doesn’t want to disturb the girls. Slowly he pulled up the blanket to cover Acchan’s body up to her shoulder, leaving the room smiling  he was confused why he’s feeling like that he just felt light and his heart was happy seeing that person innocently sleeping.


The moment he heard footsteps on the stairs going down Kai smiled his ears knew that steps. “Ohayou..” He greets and walk fast to assist her, kissing her on the forehead which made the girl surprise.

“Kai..? You’re home? What time did you arrive? Where did you sleep?” Consecutive questions were coming out from Acchan.

“Yes I’m home..I arrived dawn and I sleep in the guest room..” He smiled answering the questions nicely.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?”

“I don’t wanna disturb your sleep and I’m sorry if I didn’t answered the calls and the mails.. We had long night talking to each other and alcohol was served and..”
“And?” Acchan glares at him.

“I was drunk..” He honestly answered.

“Is that all?”

“Yeah..” He lied this time because he himself doesn’t know what actually happened.

“Kai you are here!” Miichan interrupts the convo.

“Arigatou Miichan for spending the night here with Acchan..” Kai bowed to her.

“Nah! Don’t be so formal Kai kun it’s my pleasure to guard this pregnant girl and yeah you’re welcome” she laughs.

“Come on let’s eat..I cooked breakfast..” Kai leads them to the table. While Acchan’s thought is buzzing that something is missing on his statement but she let this slipped on her mind for the sake of Kai’s will that he really wanted to talk to Ray last night.

“Kai I never thought you can cook something like this oishii yo!” Miichan expressed.

“Just a bit I think I’m not that good like my mom”

“and Acchan too!” Miichan

“Sou? I hope I can taste my wife’s cooking style..” He smiled.

“…Sure..as far as I remembered you never complained..” Acchan wonders why Kai suddenly turn out like this. A part of it she’s sad because he still can’t remember and a part of it has a warm effect on her that Kai is reaching out slowly.



2 months past and 4 more weeks before her due the Takahashi couple despite of having adjustments to each other continued their everyday life. As if they back from the scratch from getting to know each other, Acchan was the one who adjust most, her patience and understanding extends for the sake of her husband.

“It seems every time I entered here stuffs were increasing.” Kai look around on the nursery room his eyes were amazed how fascinating the room is now.

She smiled not looking at him still busy arranging the toys on the crib. “I’m just excited.. ” she replied.

“Despite of not knowing the gender you are amazing Acchan, you’re really using your designing skills.”

“Kai..It’s for the baby of course I’ll do everything..”

“Our child” Kai quickly respond. She nods and looks at him sweetly smiling. “..Yes our child” she repeats. Kai kisses her forehead which made her face temperate. That’s the first time since the accident Kai shows affection to her. Although she wants more but all she has to do is wait ‘till he remembers it all or Kai will learn to love her again.

“Shall we go down now? I prepared something for you..” Kai holds her hands.

“Honto?”

“There there slowly and always watch your steps when you’re alone..” He assists her wife going downstairs carefully.

“Kai I can always do this on my own”

“Before you can, but you can’t be reckless now I will assist you every time you go up and go down.”

Blushing she didn’t oppose him instead she secretly looks at him. “You are really my Kai the one I fell in love with..”

“Mm you saying?”

“Ahh I said I’m hungry” She swifts her words.

When they got down Kai immediately block Acchan’s vision by his hands guiding her on proper direction which he prepared. “Kai are we in the garden? May you take your hands out of my eyes now?”

“San, ni, ichi..Here we go!” He showed his surprise happily. “You’re like a princess..no..You’re my queen” he said.

When Acchan sees it she was amazed, white and pink roses all around the garden, grass was full covered with petal roses, Kai made the entire garden stunning.

“Kai..” her queen gasped.

“Don’t you like it?” Kai

“Of course I do..but why did you..What’s the occasion?”

“There’s no occasion I just thought since I don’t remember anything yet, I want to remake it..This is like what our wedding looks like right? I based it on the pictures I saw on the albums.” Tears rolling down on Acchan’s cheeks. “Chotto..is this wrong? Acchan? What’s the matter?”

“I’m just so happy..You have no idea how I’ve missed you so much..”

He cups her cheeks. “I do know that, I’m sorry if I still can’t remember all but I promise I’ll effort more, deep within me I know I love you so much and it’s very frustrating because of all incidents that have happened to my life why it needs to be all about us that must be erase on my mind.”

“It doesn’t matter now Kai as long as you are alive”

Kai shifts his head and attempts to kiss her on the lips when suddenly something kicks him below which made them laugh. “I felt it!” he exclaimed.

“Your child does not want you to kiss me yet” She laughs. “mmp..” Kai caught her lips for 6 seconds but for them it was long and warm. Her wife was speechless looking straight to his eyes, it was not their first time but it felt like it was. Happiness is starting to burst out loud and they hope everything will be alright; it’s not as the same before but gradually it will better enough. Starting from that day Kai keeps surprising her on what they always do before as well as counting the days for her labor.



2 weeks has past all is well everything seems fine.

“Kai you are spoiling me so much you’re making me useless..” she pouted.

Kai grabs the curtains in her hands. “I am?” he smirks.

“I can do that and besides you don’t know how mix and match”

“I know Ms. Fashion designer, then just tell me what colors I should put up to” he winked. Acchan has no choice because she knows Kai will insist more if she refuse.


Mobile Ringing



“It’s yours..” Acchan
“Who is it?” He is busy putting the curtains.
“It’s Riku..”
“Oh my buddy..Can you answer it for me?”
“Moshi moshi?” Acchan answers the call.
“Acchan?” Riku on the other line.
“Hai Doctor It’s me..”
“How are you? How’s the last trimester going?”
“I’m barely fine..thank you..”
“Is Kai there?”
“Uhn..He asked me to answer it for him..”
“May I speak to him Acchan?”  Acchan nods and gave the phone to Kai.
“Yo buddy what’s up?” Kai.
“Kai! You busy?”
“Not so just arranging something for my lovely wife” He smiles as he looks to Acchan.
“Kai I need to tell you something..And It’s really important..”
“Oh okay then tell me..I ‘ll listen..” Kai assures him.
“Just today I had a patient..”
“Then what’s wrong with that?”
“I’m an OB right? I check women basically”
“So? Can you go straight to the point?” Kai shower lightly his temper.
“To be honest my last patient just now is Ray..”
He chooses not to say the name in front to Acchan “What happen to her”
“She’s pregnant…” Riku lower down his tone.
“That’s good news to her right?”
“Yeah it is..but..she’s been telling me you’re the father..”
“I beg your pardon?” Kai pretends he misheard it.
“You’re the father she said” Riku is now worried. “Buddy I don’t know what’s going on but I think you need to talk to her and I’m more worried about your wife..and I think she’s going to tell your parents now before she tells you..”
Kai felt his heartbeat stops for a bit before it rapidly came back. He looks immediately on her busy wife matching the curtains, he looks at the clocks he looks at the calendar and remembered the day when he and Ray had a serious talk with alcohol.



“This can’t be true” his thoughts were fighting but all he knows right now he won’t hurt her wife again. He needs to protect her no matter what it takes.
