If you don't have either of the handhelds, dive in for Vita. Better hardware & capabilities, and there's probably a limited chance any further games will be on PSP too.

Oh man, this game looks goooood. So much variety, and it seems like they put some serious though into which girls gets which outfit/scenario. :thumbup

Consider this [/REM]: a PSP costs 95 euro, whereas a PSP Vita costs 285 euro! For that 190 euro difference you can buy the LE version of the game and any accessories (hint: 1/153 Official Guidebook) or other games you might want.
In addition, a future version of this game won't release until late 2013. The PSP Vita will have come down in price and/or there will be an upgraded version on the market by then. :V
Just playing the devil's advocate, I know prices vary a lot depending on where you live. In my case, I simply cannot justify paying an additional 200 euro for a Vita.

^You should point out that your 285e Vita is also 3G, which jacks up the price quit a bit (and 3G service isn't free). Also: European prices for videogame-related shit :V
From Amazon in the US (http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B003O6EATE/), you can obtain a brand-new wifi Vita for $250 (with a bundled game), or a used one for ~$160. When a new PSP costs $125 (75 used), it's rather tempting to just spend the extra money on the Vita.

Well, I still enjoy playing the game by my psp. If the 4th game is for vita only, its price should be lower already. Just buy it at that time :)

Considering there are 4 groups, making the chances of you getting your oshi pic 1/15 even with the box set. Say you had one oshi in each group, that would still be 1/3.
So they probably just thought "Stuff it. these guys are playing dating sims. they all want bikini shots anyways" :sweatdrop: Just saying, cos I totally like the scenario outfits more. :oops:

7 girls who weren't in the game before b/c they were either KKS or promoted members w/o a team, 4 girls transferred out of country and 5(?) girls booted from HKT. I wonder what changes will be made before the release date as well. Is Sae, Akicha, Mariyannu and Harugon just going to be way off to the side under SNH and JKT? What about the girls with dual status?

I understand the HKT stuff, but why remove Tomoka as well? Acchan's still there. If they're removing graduated girls then they also should delete Jo Eriko and maybe even Hirata Rikako, etc.
Anyway, with less girls does that mean they're going to change the title and artwork of the game too? lol

Maybe they will remove the other 2 graduating members when they leave the group, I know that Jo is officially leaving on the 28th :( so soon...
Also Tomoka graduated to focus on studies to get away from being an idol (she may have requested to be removed form the game), Acchan meanwhile is going to be a public figure as an actress, thus her situation in the game is a movie premier, so she won't be affected by any of the publicity the game brings.

The title is still be 1/153 so the changing was suddenly done.

According to the official announcement, the game changes the team line-up based on from the one as of June 16th to the one as of August 23th.
Pretty much explained why Acchan is still in the game.

Absolutely! It helped me a ton with my Japanese. The girls speak the lines that you read on the screen, so you can easily learn kanji that you didn't know before. Also there are Japanese guides that pop up quickly saying which option is the good, middle and bad one to choose (for instance the one for the last game - akb48guam.wiki.fc2.com)

Idol group AKB48 had recently received their fourth Guinness World Record! And this time, it's a record for "best feature in a video game by having the most pop singers" for their latest dating simulation game, “AKB1/149 Renai Sōsenkyo” (AKB1/149 Love General Election).
The ceremony was held in Tokyo on December 6th, and the award was received by the AKB48 members Minami Takahashi, Yui Yokoyama and Mayu Watanabe.
As of writing, this is the fourth Guinness Record held by the idol group. First, being hailed as "The Pop Group with the Most Amount of Members" in 2010, "Most Number of Same Product CM within 24 Hours" last March, and just this November, sister group SKE48 received the "Most Number of Music Videos in an Album".

I was actually pretty prepared after watching a bunch of box openings from jap fans last night on YT, when they couldn't even read most of the member names, and totally didn't know who the girl was. Guess that just comes with the pitiful chances of 10/149. Hope you guys are more lucky~

Update: Wanna add I've just finished my first run with Yukirin :heart:
Had moments like feeling bad for not staying with 'pure-idol' Paruru (that's going to be the mindset of every person that plays this game)

Note they still have the encore part at the end. The screen after the credits finish, where you need to rapidly press L and R to make her say encore faster.

The extra product code is used on the PlayStation Network store. You'll need to make a Japanese account (I did this over a year ago, so I don't really remember, but I found a tutorial here http://www.technologytell.com/gaming/40017/how-to-create-a-japanese-playstation-store-account/ (http://www.technologytell.com/gaming/40017/how-to-create-a-japanese-playstation-store-account/))
Once you log in, go up to the top where there's a little icon for entering codes (I don't have my PSP on me at the moment, but I believe it looks like a little cursor with 12 or something next to it)
Enter in your code and then it will pop up with all the things you can download.
For the regular code (black & white, I think) you'll be able to download themes for all the girls.
For the limited code (the red one, I think) you'll be able to download a file containing ALL of the kiss scenes. This code is only good for the first month after release.
Also in the PSN store is bikini and theater costume versions for each girl (2,000 yen per team or 300 yen per girl). If you want to buy that stuff, you'll need to buy a PSN card from JapanCodes or similar.

I made a japanese account a few days ago to down the stuff.
They looked totally different from the screens in the tutorial almond posted though. But there are a lot of other english guides online and on youtube to help you out.

Beaten the game with Rabutan twice so far and once with her as the last one left...going for 3 and kiss scene and 100% Rabutan completion

Hi again guys.
I apologise for commenting so much, but this time I wanted to share it with you guys.
I got some rare cards, from entire teams.
Basically, I just didn't talk to an entire 48 group, and then after a while, there comes a note from the whole group, asking whether I want to get back with them (復活).
That happened for HKT, then SKE.
Obviously, I got the Team H card, but for SKE, I only got the Team E card.

Back to my main point, I got one more SR card for Team A!
I couldnt document the process, pardon me, but this time i waited VERY long for the AKB girls to break off, like 35 days or so.
Maybe because I actually went on a date with Miyuki.
An email will pop up, from the whole 48 group, and they will ask you for 1 more chance.
If you say yes, the screen will change to the SR card, then the sound will play "XXX48!" depending on which group asked you.
The entire group's numbers will then restore. (It's like the opposite of the Day 3/4 mass breakage)
It was funny watching the number go from 0 to 61. Oh, Jurina and Miyuki didnt come back. :(
I only got a camera out at the last screen, where I was presented the card.

Top option is "Use a gold seed" = using a gold seed unlocks all 16 cards (in the first section of the album), the tape which lets you play her audio lines in the game, and make the member 100% (note: it won't unlock the mail, dates, or uniform 1/2. Still need to play normally to get those)
Bottom is "Send a gold seed" = Send the seed to another player (haven't tried it though)

After starting up again I updated the custom song list. Cos stuff like DT Suteru is only fun for so many listens. :)
It helped make a really nice gaming moment.
I was playing a Matsui Rena run and came to her infamous "break up" scene. I heard it was gonna be painful. I thought I was 'man' enough. I was not.

I decided to play with fire today as in went and bought the game normal ver from playasia :cow: total I paid was 84 bucks :nervous I almost got the one that some seller on ebay was selling which was the ultimate edition of the game for ps vita that came with all the goodies ya know the dvds and photobook he was selling it real cheap cheaper than yesasia and playasia which was 106 bucks with 4 bucks shipping :D but then I said man if I buy this how the hell am I gonna explain or hide this from my mom :panic: since I lost my job at amazon in reno and well had to move in again with my fam :cry: but yeah I bought the normal ps vita ver dow I paid for fedex shipping it in 3 days cause I couldn't wait I paid 14 bucks oh well :) dow I hope ill like it im going for the whole listening carefully since I don't understand much Japanese :nervous nor can I read or write in that language :smhid dow I also bought myself from amazon Genki I : An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese book/ Workbook and kana cards hoping that would help with understanding a bit more :fap this is the 6th time I buy a Japanese game the others were all the psp hatsune miku project diva games and the vita game and a psp gundam game so hoping this one is worth every dime 8) also it my first AKB48 anything I have ever bought of theirs :wub:

wow you really lucky then :w00t: I cant read anything :smhid that's why I bought a couple of materials to help me learn ha ha ha with the game since I really want to enjoy the game not struggle so I got the genki 1 book and workbook im still waiting for my cue cards for kana and such dam amazon that's why I buy only from ebay but this time my reading material was a lot cheaper on amazon so I got I from there so once I get the hang of it I will play the game

kata found a report from siliconera (http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/26/akb-dating-game-will-spread-the-love-to-playstation-3/) that the AKB 1/149 game will come to PlayStation 3 [PS3] on 9/12.
The PlayStation 3 release includes all of the DLC from the Vita/PSP version. AKB 1/149 Love Election will retail for 5,980 yen ($61). A 7,980 yen ($82) limited edition with AKB 1/149 Love Edition, a Blu-ray, and a random photo of one of the AKB girls.

Well I got all the HKT cards and most of the events and pretty much what's left is #4 on the messages and denying the confession stage XD
Only problem is what I need to do in getting #4 in the messages for the events tab
