Baek Ah Yeon was the 2nd runner up on 2012 Kpop Star reality show. She's the first contestant from the show to release an album, making her debut this month!
For me, it was love at first listen. Her voice and piano skills are so precious. :3

Fun fact: She had auditioned for JYP twice before Kpop Star and failed both times; after Kpop Star, ended up getting signed by JYP. :P
Not so fun fact: She had cancer as a kid and nearly died, felt sorry for her parents for having to go through it.
She'll probably have a ballad career... But I hope her ballads will be of the more interesting, playful kind :lol: It's possible to make a ballad that doesn't bore me to death... It's just very difficult.
