Hello.. I'm really a newbie here.. I meant as a fanfic author.. This will be my first time writing.. So, please tell where I'm lack in.. and also, feel free to give suggestion to me since I think I'm a lack of imagination person.. ^^, and also.. last but not least.. English is not my mother language, as well as not my subject.. So, I'm sorry if I'm English grammar-poor or vocabulary-poor ^^, guess that's all I wanna tell as an introduction about myself..
Let's start~  :heart:

I think.. About this fanfic, I'm going to write in chibi mode as well, shifting between in kindergarten days and present.. inspired by senpai author, anoni2 ^^, hope this is okay..
And also.. About pairings, sorry for ruining all royal pairings.. Haha.. Having AtsuMina is actually okay, but I've had other plans regarding to the pairings~ :D

Prologue

Mariko Shinoda, a 6-year-old little girl, was born in a well-known for their generosity family, the Shinoda family.. Her family may be not rich, but then her family could spare some of money to help their neighbors who needed some help, yet her family is able to give this little Mariko love she needed to grow up happily and well. So, there she is.. A little kid who grew up happily, lively, playfully.. Mariko doesn't only received splendid love from her family, but she also received so much love from her neighbors as a reply of her parents' generosity towards others.

Mariko's family live in a village named Akihabara, and Mariko is registered as a student in the local school situated in that little village. The school, itself, isn't a big luxury school, but it's big enough for the pre-elementary students to feel the warmth and learned more and more things as the time passes day by day. The school was built by village residents hand-in-hand some years ago because that little village didn't have any local school before. Some of the village residents volunteered to be a teacher in that local school with a really cheap salary which is almost almost free, but still managed to give warmth, love, care, and patience as well, to teach these kids. In this kind of school, since both teachers and classes are limited, Mariko, who is the only kid that's a year older than other kids, is having them as her classmates.

Mariko may be a year older than her classmates, but that doesn't make Mariko act as a big sister towards them. She's just too playful that she often makes fun or disturbs her classmates with her playful act. Mariko is such a playful and lively kid that she's close to all of her classmates, though there actually is, some classmates she is specially really close to!

Those classmates she is specially really close to consists of several other kids. They are :
1. Haruna Kojima, is called Nyaro (by Mariko) while NyanNyan by other classmates, is a really innocent yet pretty airhead kid. Well, we all know that kids are innocent, but this kid is just too innocent! She sits beside Mariko, and Mariko likes to cling onto her because Mariko finds her a unique yet pretty kid. 
2. Minami Takahashi, is called Takamina, is a pretty tiny kid. She's just still smaller in size compared to other classmates, who sits exactly right in front of Mariko. She is known for her love towards ribbons, and pink color. She's one of the main targets Mariko is targeting remembering she doesn't really mind to be trolled.
3. Minami Minegishi, is called Miichan, sits beside Takamina, and can be often seen clings onto Takamina. Miichan shared a little bit playfulness Mariko has, so that, it's not a rare situation to see Mariko paired up with Miichan to set some pranks to their friends.
4. Atsuko Maeda, is called Acchan, sits right behind Mariko. She shared a "special" relationship with Mariko. She owns a smile which is just so bright that other people who see that will feel her happiness as well. She doesn't mind being trolled as well, but what makes her doesn't really be trolled is that she's quite ignorant and doesn't really give reaction while being trolled.
5. Tomomi Itano, is called Tomo, sits beside Acchan. Well, since the 6 of them are like a group, Tomo definitely often seen clings onto Acchan. Tomo is known for her weird taste in food. That makes the little kids will give Tomo their food when they think they couldn't finish it. It's just much better to give their friend food instead of being blamed by their parents because they didn't finish their food, isn't it?

So, although it's said that the 6 kids are divided into 3 pairs, they're still close to each other and can be seen changing pairs, depending on what topic they are into. The 6 of them just have a really great friendship that can make other people watching them get jealous.

So.. It's the prologue.. actually, I've already had the idea for 1st chapter in my mind, but guess it took longer time than what I predicted.. Well, it's my first time writing, and pasting what I think into words is a really hard thing to do. Got no idea how it will turn up.. But, just wait and see! :D please give me comments, critics, or maybe directions of what you think.. It'll mean a lot to me. Thank you so much XD

Awww, this sounds really cute!

This is definitely an interesting idea, akbabies hehehe.

I love MariHaru hahaha even though they're in chibi status and I don't mind the pairings,

it's always awesome to see a change up in the pairings department.

So, about your grammar and what not just have confidence!  :thumbup

Update soon, I'd like to read where you're going with this hehe.

About suggestions... I wouldn't know what you'd like, but different types of music are always inspiring!

@anonymousdowner Thanks! You're the first who commented.. :lol: hm.. well, you're right.. Guess I should paste what I think here first.. Actually this wasn't the idea came to me some days ago, but this just suddenly popped into my head yesterday, right before I went to bed.. let's see how it turns out :D :D anyway, senpai author, I'm waiting for your MariHaru fanfics to release as well, you know.. haha.. waiting~  :heart:

@XxRoByNxX78 haha.. Yeah.. Going to update soon!  :lol: hm.. yes, WMinami.. It's because they're pretty close.. but.. but.. most of the fanfics have Miichan as Mariko's partner.. hahaha.. trying to change that actually, while don't know how it will be :lol:

Chapter 1A : The first impression

First impression about someone. Is it important? Is it not? Well, there are tons of opinions regarding this. It always back to the person, does that person think it's that important or not? Some people think that first impression isn't that important because that's just an impression of a stranger, while some think that first impression lasts forever.

Flashback
It was the first time Mariko entered school. While were some kids playing in the playground or just sitting in the class, waiting for the volunteer teachers to arrive and teach them.

"Marichan, how do you feel?" asked her mother, Ms. Shinoda while she's squatting down so that she is as tall as her baby Marichan.

Mariko, who had never been to school before, somehow felt really nervous while excited knowing that she was going to meet other kids and make some friends. Mariko was just so nervous that she didn't answer her mother's question.

Ms. Shinoda who realized that her playful yet lively daughter was so nervous, managed to hug her baby, Marichan, so that she didn't feel that much tension. "It's okay, Marichan. You are going to play a lot with them, and take care of them." said Ms. Shinoda while hugging and patting her baby Marichan.

Mariko, who was just 5 nearly 6 that time, confused by the word 'take care of them', so her very first response was, "take care of them?" she questioned.

Ms. Shinoda, stopped her hug, looked at Marichan, face to face, then answered her daughter's question with a tender smile which could melt anybody, "Yes, Marichan. You are older than them, they are your little sister. Could you please take care of them?" she answered, while leaving a question to Mariko as well.

"Yes, mom!" Mariko answered with high spirit. That kind of response kinda shock her mom, but her mom continued to leave a smile to her baby Marichan after that shock.

Deep in Ms. Shinoda's thought, she knew that Mariko was ready to enter the school, but still managed to ask her Marichan before. "Are you ready, baby?" asked Ms. Shinoda while both of them were standing in front of the school, facing the same direction, only with hands, holding.

"Baby?" Mariko questioned what she heard before.

"Yes, baby. B A B Y" her mother answered while looking at her Mariko's direction.

"I'm no longer a baby! I'm a almost 6, and I'm going to be a big sister!" said Mariko to her mom while pouting. Somehow, seems that Mariko didn't like being called a baby by her mother.

Ms. Shinoda who witnessed her daughter pouting couldn't hold her laughter, so she laughed out for a while before the laughter stopped by another pout.

"Laugh? Mom is laughing at me?" Mariko commented while having another pout.

Realizing that it might end up bad, Ms. Shinoda managed to cheer her baby Marichan up. Once again, she squatted and answered Mariko face to face, "I'm sorry, Marichan. You, my little baby, is just so cute. Okay, you are not a baby already, but you are still my baby. My only baby." answered Ms. Shinoda while offering a smile on her face.

Mariko who didn't really listen to the whole thing, smiled back at her mom. She's happy because her mom said that she was cute. All that keeps on popping in her head was that she was cute. So, she didn't really mind about 'baby' or else now, since her mind is full of 'cute'.

After seeing her baby's smile, Ms. Shinoda held Mariko's hand, and said "Let's go in, Marichan"

"Hai~" Mariko said. Mariko was skipping while still holding hands with her mom when both of them entered the school.

I marked it with 'A' first, because I ran out of time. I managed to write it in half an hour, and now I must prepare myself to go to college. Gonna continue writing while I'm in college, and update the rest. The chapter hasn't finished yet.. Please wait for it!  :lol:

I think it's good so far, just still wondering what kind of plot there is lol

I'm gonna be waiting for part 'B' where I'm betting BabyHaruna comes into play. :heart:

First impressions are very important actually lol...because, without it there might not be a second one to reflect on!

Ah, and about my fic i'm sorry it's taking awhile. I started on a Wmatsui and then had to update my AtsuMina fic first so, basically updates are rotating. Hmm, you can expect the post in three days though haha at the longest if not sooner. ':)

Actually I have planned that she met Acchan in this part, but don't know how it was, but I ended up writing Haruna instead of Acchan or the rest! haha.. OMG.. So shy..

Chapter 1B : The First Impression

Mariko and her mom finally arrived their destination, Mariko's small classroom. Standing right in front of the classroom's door, they could see some other students sitting alone, playing, or those who were still with their parents as well. It had only been seconds before they were greeted by someone.

"Ms. Shinoda!" someone called

"Oh, hello, Ms. Kojima." replied Ms. Shinoda while waving her hand at the same time. Ms. Shinoda then looked at Mariko, who was also looking at her mom with their hands holding, and asked, "Marichan, shall we enter?"

Mariko didn't answer her mom this time, but she nodded to her mom, and pulled her mom, making her first entrance to the class.

Mariko's mom was shocked being pulled, but she just gave a smile while being pulled till they were in front of Ms. Kojima.

"Good morning, Marichan" greeted Ms. Kojima

"Good morning, auntie" replied Mariko. So, since the Shinoda family is so generous, it's not shocking that they are popular in their village, and yet, Ms. Kojima is a close friend of Ms. Shinoda because they've gone through a lot of events together. So, basically, they have met and known each other's child and vice versa. The only one who didn't know each other is Mariko and Haruna.

"So, how are you today, Marichan? What are you going to do today?" asked Ms. Kojima, fishing for some funny answers from Mariko.

"I.. Um.. I should be.. fine.. I should be fine, auntie" answered Mariko. "I will play today", she added with high spirit while having a smile in her face.

As soon as Mariko finished adding, a small yet shy voice took the attention of Mariko, and her mother.

"Good morning, auntie" greeted someone.

"Oh, hello, Haruna-chan.. Good morning to you too, dear" replied Ms. Shinoda in a really warmth voice, while bowing down a little bit and patted Haruna's head and offered a smile.

Soon, after the greetings, Ms. Shinoda talked to Ms. Kojima. Both of them are close friends, and they started wondering whether their children will be close friends as well or not. It might be a mess if their kids are not in good terms with each other, so, particularly, they planned to set up some plans to make them friend, but their attention was then taken by a someone.

"Hello, so you are Haruna, aren't you?" asked Mariko.

"Um.. Yes, I'm Haruna Kojima, and you are?" replied Haruna with her heads tilted a little bit.

"You forgot my name!" Mariko shouted. Mariko then beat Ms. Kojima lightly seeking for her attention. After having the attention of both moms, Mariko complained to Ms. Kojima, "Auntie.. Haruna forgets my name." said Mariko while pouting.

Witnessing this sight, Ms. Shinoda then squatted and asked Haruna lightly and with a smile, "Haruna-chan, do you really forget her name?" while Ms. Shinoda's eyes make her way Mariko.

"She hasn't told me her name, auntie" replied Haruna innocently.

"Marichan, shouldn't you introduce yourself to Haruna-chan?" Ms. Shinoda asked Mariko.

"Um.. Maybe?" answered Mariko full of doubt.

"Hello, Haruna, Mariko Shinoda is my name. Do not forget it." introduced Mariko to Haruna while offering for a handshake.

Haruna who was shocked at 'Do not forget it', saw Mariko's offering-for-a-handshake hand then gave her a handshake, then hesitantly repeated, "Mariko Shinoda", "I'll never forget it", Haruna added.

Mariko whose hand was being shaken by another kid for the first time, felt really happy, then replied while offering a really big smile on her face "Let's be friends! May I sit with you?"

Haruna who witnessed the sudden change of Mariko then had a smile in her face as well, saying "Un.. Let's be friends!" while at the same time, pats a seat next to her and say "Here!"

The two mothers who witnessed this scene also had their smile on the face, and felt relaxed as well, knowing that they might have a "too-far-away" thought. guess things ended up much better than they thought. I meant, the kids, themselves, could already settle their own things, with only a little help of their mothers.

Soon, Mariko and Haruna had a little time together, showing off their things they had in their bag, until, a sudden noise when kids made their way entering the classroom, followed by a voice.

"Good Morning, everyone!" a really cheerful voice was heard greeting the kids.

Watching someone entered, the two moms knew that the teacher had come, and it's their time to leave. Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima looked at each other, gave each other a nod, then bid goodbye to the children.

"Goodbye, Marichan, goodbye dear" said Ms. Kojima to both of them.

"Goodbye, my baby. Please take care of your friend, okay? And.. see you, Haruna-chan. Have fun with Marichan, okay?" said Ms. Shinoda to both of them, patting each of them on their head.

The two kids only nodded while gave a smile to each other. "We will be fine, mom, auntie" said Mariko, while Haruna only gave a nod showing her consent.

The two moms then told the teacher, "It's your turn to take care of the kids, Ms. Megumi, good luck!" said Ms. Kojima to the teacher. "You may be new, but you're capable of it." added Ms. Shinoda offering a smile. The two moms then made their way out of the classroom, continued their talk while made their way leaving the school.

Deep in Mariko's thought.. Haruna is my first friend. Haruna will be my friend forever.

Deep in Haruna's thought.. Marichan is unique.. Let me see how unique she will be.

I spot the airhead beauty Kojima, but I wonder when the Maritroll is gonna appear?

Chapter 1C : The First Impression

Their really first class finally began. The teacher asked them to introduce themselves one by one while standing up in front of the class.

Mariko was shocked knowing that they were about to introduce themselves. Soon, it was Mariko’s turn. She was just too nervous that she tried to end up her introduction real fast.

“Hello, I’m Mariko Shinoda. I am 5 years old, and I sit there”, introduced Mariko while pointing the place she sits, causing big laughter by her friends.

Watching the whole class laugh, she felt shy, yet her eyes darted at everyone, one by one she looked at was laughing, till she found someone who was not laughing at all, giving her a smile, and tried make herself had bigger smile by using her small hands. Mariko, who could be said as smart, understood what her friend told her. Mariko then continued her introduction, "please take care of me, thank you" with a big smile on her face, then bowed in front of them, causing those friends who laughed stopped their laughter and clapped their hands.

After receiving the applause, Mariko then made her way back to her seat. She was about to thank her friend, but realized that it was her friends turn to introduce herself.
"Hi, I'm Haruna Kojima, and.. Um.. What else should I say?" said Haruna during her introduction while tilting her head a bit, thinking what else she should say. "Ah!! Please take care of me, thank you!" she added happily, as if she just remembered what Mariko said before and copied it, followed by a bow, then returned back to her seat.

"Haruna-chan! You copy what I say!" protested Mariko to Haruna.

"Copy?" asked Haruna tilting her head, seemed to be confused of the word.

"Un.." replied Mariko while nodded her head at the same time. "C O P Y, copy" she added

"What is copy?" asked Haruna seemed still didn't understand it.

"Copy is.. um.. copy is.. copy.." Mariko struggled while trying to explain what copy means. After thinking for some time, she gave up thinking way to explain, and managed to forget about explaining it, leaving Haruna confused by herself.

Time flies.. Soon, it was break time. Mariko looked at the girl behind her, offering a handshake.

The girl didn't move any single movement for a while because of the shock caused by Mariko's sudden movement.

"Um.. I.. May not be your friend?" asked Mariko sadly looking at her hand.

The shocked girl realized her hand, then shook Mariko's hand while offering a sorry smile. "Sorry, my name is.." her introduction was cut.

"Atsuko Maeda, isn't it? I know your name!" cut Mariko proudly while they were still shaking hands.

Atsuko felt happy because Mariko remembered her name through the introduction before, offering Mariko a really bright smile to Mariko and Haruna, who just joined Mariko looking at the seat behind them.

Mariko then pointed at Tomomi and said proudly, "Tomomi Itano". Right after saying Tomomi Itano proudly, her attention was taken by someone who had just beaten Mariko's pointing hand down.

"It's not polite to point at someone, Mariko" protested Haruna right after she beat Mariko's hand down so it's not longer pointing at Tomomi.

"Ehh? It's not polite?" replied Mariko, still shock.

Haruna didn't said anything in reply. She only nodded a few times. Haruna then come closer to Mariko and whispered "say sorry" then moved away

Mariko realized that she has been impolite, then hurriedly said "I'm so.. I'm sorry, Tomomi".

Tomomi who actually didn't really mind about the pointing part, replied "It's okay, you are my friend."

Listening to that, Mariko suddenly cheered up one more time, asking once more to confirm, "I.. am.. your.. friend?" she asked doubtly.

"Yes, you are my friend, and you too, Haruna. We are friends." replied Tomomi.

Mariko was so excited, then move and looked at Atsuko, "Am I your friend too?" asked Mariko, wishing for good news.

"Actually.. No?" Atsuko replied doubtly.

Mariko's face suddenly turned sad, but that only lasted some seconds before she heard the word "yes, you are my friend". After hearing that word, she started to be happy right again.

Right after that, Ms. Megumi entered the classroom once more, only to lead all the kids to play in the playground. Everyone was just so happy, except Atsuko. Atsuko was not happy, not because of she hated playing, but it was because she preferred to study in the class more than playing.

After being in the playground, all the other kids were already playing, running, or else, while Mariko, Haruna, Atsuko and Tomomi were still standing together, discussing what to play. They were still discussing together till something caught their attention. It was a loud falling sound, followed by a really loud laughter.

Surprised Mariko saw the girl who fell were still on the ground, checking for the cut on her feet. Mariko's reflex were to run to the girl, standing up beside the girl, and yelled at those laughing mates, "Don't laugh at my friend!"

Surprised by a sudden yell near her, Takamina then looked beside her, and found Mariko standing by her side with her hands on her waist.

"It's okay, it's my carelessness" said Takamina to Mariko, while still looking up to standing Mariko.

After yelling, Mariko then turned to Takamina and squatted, she asked, "Is it hurt? Can you stand up?"

Takamina then tried to stand up, but unfortunately, it hurt much more than expected, leaving a shriek. Realizing the situation, Mariko then hold Takamina's hand and put it behind her neck, helping Takamina to stand up. Right at this moment, Haruna, who was about to offer some help, suddenly stopped making her move, after someone held Takamina's other hand and helped her walked to teacher's side. The other two kids left by the trio only could give each other smile, then followed them. The pair then was joined by someone, who was already familiar in Haruna's eyes, because she sat right in front of Haruna. The three of them then followed the other three together, meeting the teacher.

So, the truth is, it is not the teacher was careless, but the teacher wanted to see who is capable of handling this kind of situation, and it seemed that the teacher had got her own answer. The teacher then helped Takamina who was hurt, and giving a pat on each of their heads, while offering a smile. Good job, dear.

wahahhaa.. It's just a nice thing that I can write quite a lot today~ Well, this actually really relieved my stress! :heart:

Well thanks for the longer updates, I still think it's cute as always.

Hmm...Well suggestion....You can try COPYing (lol) Mariko's real life troll situations. There's a lot and she's always trolling Haruna too so yeah haha.

And chibis like in that messed up commercial wherein their adult heads are placed in a kids body?!  :shocked
Okay, so I'm going to imagine a different kind of chibis since that CM was just.  :smhid

Ms. Megumi?! Is that Meetan?!  :w00t: I miss Meetan.  :cry:  :cry:
Haruna's thoughts about Mari-chan feels...dangerous. Like she's planning something. Or maybe that's just me.  :nervous
And yeah, I'm thinking it's Miichan who helped Takamina too :)
Mariko being a good older sister. Awww. How cute. I'd love to have an older sister like her.  :)
I have no problem with the MariHaru, obviously.  :lol:
But I hadn't encountered TakaMii and TomoAtsu before. So I'm curious on how that'll work in my head.  :lol:

Chapter 1D : First impression

Going home

Finally, day 1 has ended, they were now waiting for parents to fetch them home. One by one, the kids had gone home. Right now, in this moment, it's only the six of them left, while their teacher, Ms. Megumi accompanied them, waiting for their parents to fetch them home.

Trying to kill this still moment, Takamina started a conversation, randomly said, "Thank you for helping me, I am Minami Takahashi", giving a bow to them.

Shocked at the bow, Mariko replied, "It's okay, Minami. We are friends, aren't we?"

Minami answered, "Un" while giving a nod as her consent as well, then the others also offered her a smile. Minami has known Mariko's name because Mariko was the center of laughter by her friends in her introduction before. So, she didn't bother herself asking for Mariko's name. The same applies to Haruna and Miichan who sat beside Mariko and herself, respectedly.. But then, looking at the 2 more kids, she wondered what their name were, because they weren't center of attention, yet, they didn't sit around her.

Takamina looked at someone, then said, "Thank you for helping me stood up earlier. What is your name? I'm so.. sorry.. I forgot your name, but I promise I won't ask the 2nd time." offering a handshake with another hand touching, scratching her head, while giving a shy smile on her face.

The little girl then shook Takamina's hand, said "You're welcome. I'm Atsuko Maeda. Please be more careful next time", while offering a smile on her face.

Tomomi sensed something, sensed that Takamina might didn't know her name either, then she offered Takamina a handshake as well, though Takamina was still shaking hands with Atsuko. Realizing someone offering a handshake, Takamina then quickly shook Tomomi's hand as well, introducing each other.

Soon after their little talk and introduction, their parents had arrived one by one, and the kids went home one by one, bidding goodbye to their friends. Mariko was the only one left, well, she's not the only one. There was Ms. Megumi who accompanied her waiting for her mom.

Soon, her mom arrived, and called for Mariko, asking "Hi, baby, how was it?" when she reached Mariko's waiting position, beside Ms. Megumi

"Good! I have 5 friends now", she answered her mom's question happily and proudly, giving a big smile.

"Really? How can that happen?" her mom asked her back, waiting for some interesting stories Mariko might give.

"Um.. Err.. I.. don't know" she struggled while answering. "But I really have 5 friends now" she added, giving a pout.

Seemed confused, Ms. Shinoda turned to Ms. Megumi. Ms. Megumi knew that Ms. Shinoda was waiting for her explanation, then Ms. Megumi started, "Mariko was really great today. She helped one of her friends. And, it seems that, she really already had 5 friends."

Confused by the part Mariko helped one of her friends, her mom asked the teacher, "How did she help?"

Ms. Megumi then told Ms. Shinoda the entire story, which made Mariko being patted by her mother, "You're great today, baby. My baby has become an older sister, huh? Taking care of you little sister?" she said with a smile on her face.

Mariko who was supposed to get mad because being called 'baby' by her mother, forgot that she were supposed to get mad because the word baby that was echoing in her mind soon replaced by the word 'older sister and little sister'!

After that scene, Ms. Shinoda then bid goodbye to Ms. Megumi, saying "Thanks for taking care of Marichan and other kids, you are great. Please continue to take care of them. Take care of yourself, see you. Have a great day ahead!" then gave Ms. Megumi a little bow.

Mariko, who knew that she was about to leave, she then said, "Bye, sensei" giving her a bow, then waved goodbye as both of them left Ms. Megumi who still had a smile on her face.

Deep in Mariko's thought, Takamina is kind, preferred to be hurt instead of hurting, which made Mariko think that she must protect that kid - Atsuko, a quiet girl, who owns a great smile. I wanna see her smile.

Chapter 2 : You Are Still You


"What do you think about Marichan, dear?" asked Haruna's mom after their 1st day in school.

"She's kind, mom. She helped one of our friend just now.. and.. I like to see her smile so much!" Haruna replied, giving her mom a smile.

"Really?" her mom asked while giving a surprised expression

Haruna only nodded for some times, then...

"Nyaro! NYARO!!" shouted Mariko while shaking Haruna's hands that were supporting her head.

Mariko's shout and shake brought Haruna back to reality. She was sitting on her seat, with Mariko right beside her, holding her arms, with the other 4 watching both of them.

"Uh?" replied Haruna simply.

"Stop day-dreaming! Can't you just have some chit-chat with me instead of leaving me in boredom while you're happily day-dreaming?" Mariko replied.

"Uh.. Al.. Alright.. I'm gonna stop day-dreaming for a while" replied innocent Haruna with her typical gesture, tilting her head a little bit. "So, what's up? For calling me?" she added.

"Um.. Well, I'm just damn bored, so I brought you back to life! (Actually what she meant was back to reality)" Mariko replied giving a smirk to Haruna. Their talk was suddenly interrupted.

"Hey! Stop flirting please.. Marichan! You forget that we woke her because we wanna go to school canteen and grab some food? I'm just so hungry now" protested Miichan, who sat in front of Haruna, looking back while talking.

"I agree. I'm also hungry now, and wanna grab some food. Any food will be, as long as I can eat anything now", added Tomo.

"So, actually, we planned to leave you day-dreaming here alone, but your dear Marichan refused to leave you alone here, day-dreaming, since she got a feeling that her angel might be hurt by other person, so we decided to wake you up, bring you back to this life, NyanNyan", said Takamina.

"Really?" asked Haruna, looking at Mariko now.

"Well, do you really believe what Takamina said before? That's just so so so impossible. Really impossible, isn't it? I wanted to wake you up just to invite you whether you're coming with us or not. So, what's your answer? Coming?" Mariko replied, trying to control her expression.

"I see.." Replied Haruna upset. "All of you going?" asked her again.

"Well, Takamina said it before, we originally wanna leave you alone here. Doesn't that answer everything? All of us are going" replied Mariko flat.

"Ah.. You're right. I forgot" said Haruna casually, as she is known for her air-head..

"Yes, yes, you always forgot. You should just start turning on your brain, and use it. It's been off for too long, Nyaro!" teased Mariko.

"Marichan! It's not that I never use it. It's just.. I don't wanna think so much!" replied Haruna while pouting.

Mariko laughed at Haruna, patting Haruna's back, then embrace her.

"Should we go now? Miichan and Tomochin might faint if we don't start moving now." Atsuko stated.

"Finally there is someone who remembers us, Tomochin" said Miichan while wanted to give Tomomi a hug.

Tomomi received Miichan's hug, then both of them walked out of the classroom, on their way to school canteen.

Since Tomomi and Miichan lead the group, automatically, Acchan moved forward from back, linked her arms to Takamina. "Yosshh.. Let's go, Takamina" said Atsuko. "My Tomo was taken away by your Miichan. I was left alone. You, yourself, can't stand looking at me alone too, right? I meant, I can't just go and link my arms with Haruna or Mariko right? As you can see, they are busy having their own talk already" added Atsuko.

Shocked by that sudden linking arms and words from Atsuko, Takamina didn't answer anything.

"You don't mind linking arms with me, do you?" asked Atsuko.

Takamina who was just back to life, replied "O.. Oh.. Of course not, Acchan. How can I mind? Let's go.. They might have gone too far. We forgot our hungry friends."

"Yeah, you're right. I just forgot them already. Let's go~!" added Atsuko.

Both Atsuko and Takamina then got out of class, walking with their arms linked, having little talk, as they were to go to canteen just to accompany the pair who left them moment ago. Well, this pair was just enjoying their moment so much that they forgot they left another pair behind them.

Meanwhile, Mariko and Haruna realized that Atsuko and Takamina heading to canteen, Mariko started a little talk with Haruna, with her hand still embracing Haruna, leaving the class, heading to school canteen.

"So, what did you day-dreamed about? Kinda curious. It took me some minutes to wake you up." Mariko started the conversation.

"Hee? Some minutes? It took you so long just to wake me just now?" Haruna replied, still shocked.

"Um.. Well, actually no. Haha" Mariko laughed at her.

Haruna gave a pout, which made Mariko poke at it, then tossing her head to Haruna's lightly, while giving a really sincere smile, still walking.

"So, what's it that you day-dreamed about? Mind to tell me?" asked Mariko, still hugging Haruna.

"Um.. I was not day-dreaming. I was just reminiscing." replied Haruna innocently, which gave Mariko a shock.

"Reminiscing? About? Why so sudden?" Mariko asked. Even before Haruna replied, Mariko added "About us?" she whispered, teasing Haruna.

Shocked at the sudden question, Haruna went blushing, but managed to keep being honest. "Yes", Haruna replied, while giving a nod.

Receiving Haruna's innocent yet honest answer, Mariko was shocked. Her shock made her didn't reply anything in a moment, which made Haruna continued.

"What happened?" asked Haruna innocently.

"Uh.. Um.. No.. Nothing.." answered Mariko, while managed to give Haruna a smile. "So, what's about us that you reminisced?" asked Mariko curious.

"Well, um.. My first impression of you maybe?" Haruna replied doubt, tilting her head little, which made her accidentally tossed her head to Mariko's.

"Auchh.." Mariko giving her response for Haruna's tilting her head action.

"So.. Sorry.. Sorry, Marichan.. I didn't do it on purpose" Haruna replied.

"Uh.. It's okay, Nyaro. I knew it. You were just about to do your little unique habit, tilting your head, and accidentally hit my head because our heads are so close to each other. Haha.. But that toss doesn't mean I'm going to stop hugging you now" replied Mariko.

"Haha.. Then, thanks for this lovely hug, Marichan" Haruna replied, giving her a genuine smile. "So, what about you? Do you remember anything about us?" asked Haruna.

This question of Haruna gave Mariko another shock. "Uh.. Um.. Well, how can I remember that? It has been a long time, um.. 12 years ago, maybe?" replied Mariko, trying to control herself so that Haruna didn't find it suspicious.

"Uh.. You're right.. It has been 12 years we've known each other, huh? Quite a long time, isn't it? No wonder you don't remember anything of it." Haruna's answer kinda indirectly defending Mariko's excuses.

"Yes, so, should I praise you for being able to remember things I don't, Nyaro?" asked Mariko teasing Haruna, realizing that Haruna wasn't suspicious at all, which meant she could just be herself back after those tense questions.

"Um.. Well, guess you should do that, Marichan. I'm proud of my memories, you know." replied Haruna demanding for praises.

"Well, ii neko (good cat)", said Mariko while patting Haruna's head with the hand hugging her.

"Neko? You're thinking me as a cat now?" asked Haruna pouting.

"Um.. NyanNyan is a cat, isn't it?" asked Mariko, followed by laughter at the same time.

Haruna admitted her defeat, just replied with, "Well, guess you're much smarter than I am in this kind of things", leaning her head on Mariko's shoulder, while giving off a happy and relaxed smile.

Deep in Haruna's mind - I don't really care how much I lost to her in this kind of things, as long as I can see her smile, and she's happy with it. It's been years we're together, spending so much memories together. She's just too kind, though she likes to made fun of me. But, it doesn't really matter as long as she can smile happily. I love that smile. Love it so much. Our memories, won't ever disappear from my memory, happy or sad, starting from that day, our first meeting in that little classroom of ours.

While, deep in Mariko's mind - That was close. Sorry for lying to you, Nyaro. The truth is just, I'll never forget how we meet each other. Our memories together is too much that I can't imagine what my life would be without you. You are my first friend, yet playing an important role in my life. How could I ever forget about us? Let's leave these precious memories stay in my mind, without you knowing about it. I'm just too scared that you might change after you know about it. Sorry once more, Nyaro. Everything about us, is just like a diary. Written that clearly in my mind.

Soon, they've reached canteen and found the 4 others.

"Marichan! NyanNyan!" Miichan yelled and waved at them.

"You can just stop that hug now!" added Atsuko, yelling at both of them.

"So, Atsuko is jealous of them now? asked Tomomi.

"I don't say that I'm jealous, Tomochin. I just want them to come here quickly. They won't be able to do that if they're hugging each other", Atsuko explained.

"Well, I saw you linking arms with Takamina earlier too, and we did not ask you to stop linking arms with her" Miichan replied to Atsuko, giving Atsuko her grinning smile.

"Uh? You're defending them too much, Miichan" Atsuko replied, while giving a sigh.

"Um.. Miichan, I guess you should just stop trolling Acchan. Pity on her, you know." Takamina suddenly bumped in the conversation, shocking Tomomi as well.

"Wow, finally Atsuko has a savior here." Miichan teased.

"Ehm.." Tomochin pretended to cough, clearing her throat, as if she's giving them signs.

Quite airhead Takamina shocked at Tomomi's cough, asking her "Are you alright? Need some medicine? I got some in my bag if you'd like to check it out", Takamina offered.

Atsuko, who seemed to understand what that cough means, tried to distract their attention by yelling, "Marichan! NyanNyan! Come here quickly!" while waving her hand.

Miichan who seemed to get the meaning, complained to them, "So, this two kids are living in their own world after all. They haven't even moved a single pace till Acchan called them moment ago."

Takamina, who still hadn't got any idea about what just happened, was just busy asking Tomochin how she was, and whether she needed something.

"Marichan, you're finally here. I miss you so much" said Atsuko while standing up and offering Mariko a hug.

That word of Atsuko kinda made everyone there shocked and confused.

Mariko and Haruna who just arrived, were definitely confused by that. Mariko who was still confused, managed to hug Atsuko, then stared at Haruna after her hug with Atsuko. Both Mariko and Haruna was like asking each other 'what's with this weird atmosphere' through telepathy. Seems that both had got answers from each other's eyes, they then looked at the other 4, and witnessed that they had finished their food.

"Uh.. Both of you had finished your food?" Mariko asked pointing at both of them in shift.

Before any of them could answer, their attention was taken by Haruna beating Mariko's pointing fingers' hand down.

"I can see that you're still the same, NyanNyan. Thank you for that, um.. Well, maybe I should just say, thank you for taking care of Mariko for us", Tomochin said, shocking Takamina and Miichan.

Takamina and Miichan were shocked and puzzled at those words. Asking several questions in their mind, such as 'What does that suppose to mean?', 'How can I miss a single thing during these years?'

Tomomi and Atsuko just didn't bother the puzzled WMinami. Atsuko then continued, "NyanNyan will always be NyanNyan, won't she?" Atsuko asked Mariko, giving her a wink.

Mariko could simply answer, "Maybe?" while shrugging her arms at the same time. "She's the same person after all", she added, moved her glance to Haruna, and smiled at her, which made Haruna replied with a smile as well.

At first I'm kinda confused with their conversation..
My mind still stuck with chibi Mariko and Haruna, and their words is too difficult for kiddies
But then it's clear, it's 12 years later...   :D

The story flows a bit fast in chap 2 isn't it?
Well, personally I don't mind to read fast or slow plot, as long as it's good.

And this is good!  :twothumbs

@masokun Uh.. Sorry for confusing earlier.. I planned to give a surprise, that's why I'm not telling that it's 12 years later..
Well, actually I don't think it's too fast.. Just.. I think previously I'm too slow! Haha.. I've changed a lil bit in the introduction, so now it's not pure AKB Kindergarten days.. I will be shifting between past and present! ^^,

Guess if I said about shifting, you've got the idea that chibis would only appear when it's in their mind, reminiscing.. Haha.. It's impossible for them to come back to time, right? :D :D Friends.. Friendship.. 12-year-old friendship.. Isn't that short.. Lots of memories created! Haha.. :heart:

Meetan!  XD Reading this made me miss Meetan again.  :(
Curious to know why Mariko seems scared about Haruna finding out that she remembers everything.
Oh, so the chapters will be shifting from past to present. Gotcha.   :D
Classic fics can be good too you know, just as long as the plot is good. 
Same with fast and slow pace. I agree with masokun.  :)

Chapter 3 : Before the regular sleepover

Friday, the last school day of the week! It's surely a happy day. I mean, nobody doubts about it right? You're going to have some days of weekend, well, 2 days to be exact.. But it's weekend, you can take a rest, have some happy moment and try to get away from studies if you want to! Getting away from books or school-related stuff is sure a "true" refreshing if you're one of those who didn't really like studying or reading books, perhaps?

The same thing applies to some of the students, especially Haruna. She loves Friday so much because it's weekend, and she can just go shopping or maybe window-shopping, hanging out with the other friends, or maybe sitting down, spazzing out all by herself at home. She just love it so much, leaving all the study books aside, having fun before finishing her homework and then having regular activities again. It's not like she hates studying, then she got low grades in her studies. In reverse, her grades are always above average, which actually not a 'new' thing to her friends, because they have known that this Haruna is genius, the problem only lays at she's bored to see it over and over again. Aside from being genius, she's also included a lucky person. She's always lucky enough to guess the right answer whenever she got no more idea about what it is. So, it could be said that Haruna is the one who relaxes the most. Study the least, but tend to get high grades.

The case of Haruna is totally the opposite of Takamina's case. Takamina is just super diligent when it comes to studying or reviewing, even though it's weekend, she'll just continue studying or reviewing before she hangs out with her friends or else. The only thing is just whenever it comes to exam, she's just so nervous and panic that she becomes careless and often make mistakes. Though she's more diligent compared to her fellow friend, Haruna, her grades are just about the same as Haruna's or sometimes even lower. This thing, the factor has been known by her friends, and they usually remind her to calm down and check it twice before submitting, but it seems that it has been her habit, though she checked it over, she still would make mistakes. That's just the careless Takamina. Her friends would just shake their heads and give no comment to her.

The rest of them, are only average standard students.. They aren't as relax as Haruna, but they aren't as diligent as Takamina either. Since they're just average, their grades are also average as well. Guess they could be said as lucky because they have the genius-and-lucky Haruna as well as the diligent-but-careless Takamina to teach them whenever the exam period is close, so that they could understand their material quite well and face the exam.

[Haruna's POV]
"Uwaaaa.. It's morning~ It's just a rare moment that I could wake up this morning, even before my alarm rings!" said Haruna to herself.

Gonna just take a shower, then head to school. Buying and eating while on the way to school seems to be fun! she thought.

Soon, she arrived school. Well, arriving school much earlier than she predicted. We all know that she was just in high spirit to go to school, and now. She's at school, standing in front of the classroom, looking inside.

"Um.. Guess I'm a lil bit too early?" she said while tilted her head a bit. What should I do now? Nobody's here. she thought.

She then started taking up her mobile, checking her mail. "Uh.. As usual.. No emails early in the morning. Should I just start email somebody?" she said.

Her hands starting to see the contacts in her mobile. next, next, next, then.. Stopped in the name of 'Marichan :heart: :heart:'.
Deep in her thoughts.. Should I try to email her? Not so sure where she is now, but.. Should I? Won't she find it funny for me to send her email when we're going to meet soon? I meant, in an hour.

After that kind of thought, she decided to send email to Mariko. She then took out her music player, plugged in the earphone, decided to take a nap while waiting for the rest to come.

Mariko who arrived school some minutes later, standing in front of the classroom, just like what Haruna did minutes ago, shocked at the view, just as shock as Haruna was before. The difference was, Haruna was shocked because she's the first, and nobody was there, while Mariko was shocked because she saw Haruna was already there, sleeping with her hands folding on the table supporting her head.

Deep in Mariko's thought.. I see.. So this is why she send me email. She's just bored after all. Nobody is here huh? And.. Is she sleeping? Guess it's my chance, huh? Should just keep quiet and take some photos.

Mariko then quietly walked beside Haruna, then took some photos of sleeping Haruna. She took, took, and took.. In the end, she took more than a photo, in different angles, included some 2-shot photos of her posing beside the sleeping Haruna. All of a sudden, her trolling mind appeared, she thought of an idea to prank this special friend of her.

Mariko, still walking quietly, left the classroom. Standing leaning on the wall beside her classroom door, she took out her phone, replied Haruna's email while attaching a photo of Haruna at the same time. She texted "Good Morning, my Nyaro. Missing me already? It's only early in the morning, you know. Um.. So sorry for the late reply, I was busy doing something ;)" Mariko purposely adding the wink, in order to see how Haruna is going to react, then clicked 'send', then secretly peeping at Haruna from the front of the classroom.

Email soon arrived Haruna's mobile, with vibration as the sign. Shocked by the vibration, sleeping Haruna then woke up, and looked at her phone. A smile was formed in Haruna's face as she learn that she received an email reply from Mariko. Curious, she quickly clicked 'open'.

As soon as she read Mariko's message, her smile changed to confusion as she clicked at the attachment.

"Ehh, what's this?" she accidentally let out. Her response was looked around, and realized that nobody has arrived yet, then reread her email from Mariko. "Uh.. Wait.. Earphones.. Wait.. This is.. This is a picture of me? Err.. Right now?" she added, still in confusion, tilting her head a bit.

Mariko, in the other side, is struggling in holding her chuckling as she observed Haruna.

Deep in Mariko's thought.. Haruna.. You really don't change a bit, huh? How can you remain the same for these 12 years of time? I really admire you, who doesn't change at all. Really, really admiring you. You are just so you. Forever you huh? As cute and pretty as ever.. As innocent as ever.. And also, last but not least, as airhead as ever. Somehow, I'm quite confused in trying to understand you. You're just genius, but why do you have to keep the brain you have? I mean, do you have to keep it, in terms of don't really wanna think about anything, and just let out things you thought of instantly, in order to maintain the brain new and in a good quality? Uh.. Seems funny huh? But whatever, Haruna will always be Haruna, won't she? Mariko let out a little chuckle at the part 'maintain the brain new and in a good quality', followed by a relax smile as she finished her thought, and continue observing Haruna.

Sitting quietly when Mariko is in her thoughts, she thought Marichan is here? But where is her bag? She started thinking, but since nothing came to her mind, well, there's nothing came to her mind since she didn't really wanna think (to be exact), she only let out a sigh, looking at her phone again, then reply Mariko's email.

She replied "Marichan~ :heart: Stop playing please.. Where are you? I need you now." then clicked 'send'.

Mariko received Haruna's email reply, but don't bother herself to read it. She preferred to observe Haruna, and tried to take some photos of Haruna from afar, but still clear enough to know that it's Haruna, who is in the photo. After having great time in taking  some photos, she checked her email. Reading it, and could only ask herself, "Do you really need me now? Need me cause you are real bored?", let out a little chuckle.

Mariko simply replied "I'm here, Nyaro :heart:" while attaching another photo of Haruna, which she just took from afar, then clicked 'send'.

Haruna who wasn't sleeping any longer, received the email happily, in thought that she's going to meet Mariko soon, looked shocked at the simple and with attachment email 'again'. But, Haruna wasn't as puzzled as before, she knew where the photo was taken from, then she hurriedly take off her earphone, leaving her music player on the table, only grabbing her mobile, then running, heading out of the class, but managed to stopped at the door, and shouted happily, "I found you!" with a big smile formed in her face.

In the other side, Mariko, who could feel that Haruna ran towards her position, getting ready in her set position. Right after Haruna found her, Mariko gave Haruna her typical grin, and asked "How is it? Do you like it?"

Haruna could simply nod her head, giving off her smile. Just as Haruna giving her simply nod, Mariko held Haruna's hand, leading Haruna heading to their seat. Haruna happily let herself being pulled to her seat.

Deep in Haruna's thought.. Thank you Marichan, for being able to understand what I mean, without having me explaining everything. You like to give me pranks, but honestly, I miss your pranks so much. It just cheered me up every time you have finished giving me pranks. You're somebody who.. Um.. Who understands me the most. Thank you for staying by my side, supporting me, and understanding me for these 12 years. You're just too precious for me.

"So, mind to tell me what struck you?" Mariko started the conversation.

"Ehh?" Haruna let out her reply.

"What do you mean by that? Guess you're smart enough to get what I mean, Nyaro." Mariko replied.

"I don't understand. Explain please?" replied Haruna, giving her can't-be-resisted-look to Mariko.

"Uh.. Okay, I mean, why did you come so early all of a sudden? What struck you? It's like 'not you'. I mean, you know you always come on time, well, to be exact, REALLY REALLY ON TIME. Right at the time the bell rang, you'll just be standing in front of the classroom." Mariko explained, still keeping her look at Haruna.

"Ahh.." Haruna replied short, which unsatisfied Mariko.

"Explanation please?" Mariko replied shortly.

"Uh.. What to tell? Nothing special, I woke up early, preparing early, leave early, then, arrive to school early." Haruna replied doubtly, not sure what answer to give in response of Mariko's question, with her left hand touching her face.

"That's all?" Mariko replied, still unsatisfies with Haruna's answer. Just by the time Mariko wanted to interrogate Haruna more, their conversation was interrupted.

"Yahoooo~ Good morning, everyone" said Miichan in loud voice while looking the class, followed by Takamina.

Both parties were shocked looking at each other. Miichan, who usually doesn't come early, suddenly came earlier than usual. She was shocked that there were only Mariko and Haruna in the classroom. While, Mariko shocked as well, because Miichan is definitely just like Haruna, who came nearly the time. And now, appeared in front of them? In this hour?

Miichan can't hide her shock, "What's with this classroom? Only you two?" she said, still in shocked state, with her index finger pointing at Mariko and Haruna.

Haruna was just about to say "No ...", but was interrupted by another people saying in a louder voice, "No pointing please, Miichan".

Haruna, whose talk is interrupted, feel so shock, and looked at the person beside her. Mariko, who realized Haruna's stare, replied Haruna's stare with a smile.

"I know you would say that, my dear Nyaro" she whispered, which made Haruna smiled happily.

Haruna then replied, "Thank you, Marichan. You understand me so well", still whispering.

"It's because I'm your top fan", Mariko simply replied, which made Haruna shocked and broke the whisper.

"Ehh?" replied the shocked Haruna.

Mariko could simply laugh out loud, witnessing the cute confused Haruna beside her.

In the other side, Miichan who was still shocked, could only hold her stare, while Takamina beat her pointing hand down.

"What do you expect, Miichan? It's always this way, if you come early" Takamina replied with smile. "Yoosshhh.. Let's get in" she added, with her hands pushing Miichan from the back. "Um.. Good morning", said Takamina to her 2 friends.

Miichan, who just back after her shock, then said, "Ah.. Good morning, you two."

Soon, one by one arrived and sat on their own seat. Class started, and soon, it's break time.

"Uh.. Can I have your attention please?" Mariko started a conversation while patting WMinami's shoulder, and asking for TomoAtsu's attention. Mariko didn't bother herself to ask for Haruna's attention because Haruna was beside her, and Mariko would be the center of Haruna's attention, all the time. ALL.. THE.. TIME..

"Aren't we supposed to have a sleepover at Takamina's house today?" Mariko continued after having their attention.

"Shoot.. I forgot we're going to have sleepover at my house today", Takamina replied soon.

"Well, does that makes difference?" Atsuko continued, in reply of Takamina's answer.

"Uh? What do you mean, Acchan? I'm a person, and I can forget too" Takamina replied Atsuko, defending herself.

"Um.. I mean.. What's the difference of the situation in your house, between you remember and you don't? Guess it's the same?" Atsuko replied doubtly.

"Ah.. Well.. May.. be? Maybe?" Takamina replied.

"What about changing to other's house?" Miichan suggesting in a side, while trying to avoid Takamina from being blamed on the other side.

"Well, that's possible. But, whose house?" asked Atsuko.

"Well, I can give this suggestion, but actually, my house can't be used today. It's kinda in a mess.. B I G mess actually" replied Miichan shy, offering a forced shy laugh, exaggerating a little bit as an excuse in order to avoid her house being used today.

"Um.." Tomo giving a hum. "Actually, my house can't be used as well, because it's totally unprepared, I mean, we all knew that it would be in Takamina's house right?" she added.

"So, nobody's house is available?" asked Miichan after Tomo stated her answer.

"Is this sleepover canceled?" asked Atsuko worriedly, waiting for a confirmation.

On the other side, Takamina is more worried. Well, it's not only filled with worries, but also with regrets, because she forgot it's her turn, and this became a big mess. She just can't forgive herself if this plan is canceled because of her.

Realizing Takamina's state, Miichan whispered to her, "It's okay, it's not your fault, and I'm pretty sure, nobody is going to blame you because of this." Miichan said, offering a smile to Takamina, while giving her a pat on her shoulder as well.

Mariko and Haruna, who have been thinking all the time since the conversation started, finally made a sound in unison.

"Um.." made by both of them, which startled both of them, as well as other friends.

Mariko who knew that Haruna wanted to talk, offered Haruna the chance to talk first, but Haruna refused. Haruna just let Mariko say what she wanna say first. So, in the end, it's Mariko who talked first.

"Um.. Actually, nobody is at home now, my parents are having vacation, and they'll be back by next week. And I guess, that's what Nyaro wanna say too, isn't it, Nyaro?" Mariko said, then threw a question to Haruna.

"W.. W.. Well, Actually that's what I wanna say. But how can you know, Marichan?" Haruna asked seems to be puzzled.

"Hahaha.. I've told you, I'm your TOP fans.." Mariko jokingly answered.

Disappointed in Mariko's answer, Haruna could simply give a sigh, then pouted.

Mariko, who couldn't resist herself from cute Haruna, lean closer to Haruna as she gave Haruna a whisper, "Your parents and my parents are having vacation together, do
you remember?", then Mariko back to her position before.

"Ah! I remember now." said Haruna out loud, as she just remembered something really important, giving Mariko her typical smile.

"Uh.. So, this discussion is started by Marichan, and ended up be Marichan and NyanNyan's not-so-secret date" Acchan suddenly said.

Mariko, who was suddenly attacked by those words, could only replied with "Ehh?" with her right hand closing her opened mouth. "You said that, Acchan? Never thought you could say that to me? I thought that it should be Miichan's part?" Mariko added.

"Well, you heard I say it" Acchan replied.

"Hahaha.. Sorry, Acchan. Guess you're jealous, huh? Come and let me hug you, my baby." Mariko playfully said.

"Uh.. Well, I'm not jealous. And.. I don't wanna just hug you out of the blues, otherwise I might lose a friend and.. special friend? perhaps?" Atsuko replied, then hugging Tomo who sat beside her tightly.

"Ugh.. I was rejected. Somebody, please help me! Acchan just rejected me!" Mariko acting as if she's so serious, but still in a playful tone.

"Marichan.. Guess it can't be helped that Acchan chose me over you?" Tomo replied proudly, chuckling.

"So, Acchan.. You seriously chose her over me?" Mariko asked curious, in a more serious tone.

"Um.. Well, Marichan.. You know that you're just like a sister to me already. Thanks for taking care of me." Atsuko replied Mariko's question and give her a smile.

"Ah.. I'm glad." Mariko said, exhaling.

"Um.. Sorry for interrupting, but what's the conclusion of the discussion?" Miichan asked.

"Huh.. Well, guess Nyaro and I have the same thought. Our houses are available. So, it's only about whose house do you wanna use?" Mariko said after receiving Haruna's consent.

"I'm suggesting that we use Haruna's house since we all knew the last sleepover was done in Mariko's house." Tomo giving her opinion.

"I agree with Tomo. Forever agree. We just had sleepover at Mariko's house, and if it's Mariko's house again.. Um.." Atsuko replied, not being able to continue.

"2 votes already? Uh.. Is it okay, if we use your house, NyanNyan?" asked Takamina.

Haruna only nodded, giving her smile. "Guess it should be fine. If we're talking bout permission, guess we will get it soon because we have Marichan here." she added.

"Uh? Me? Are you implying that I call your mom and ask for permission?" Mariko asked.

Haruna shyly nodded, "If they really demanded that we ask for permission beforehand." said Haruna softly.

"Guess it can't be helped since your mom loves me so much, eh?" Mariko said, teasing Haruna.

"But she loves me more!!" added Haruna in furious.

"Hahaha.. Well, she's your mom after all" Mariko replied, giving Haruna a wink.

"So, it's been set that our sleepover today is going to be at Nyaro's house, and.. the next sleepover after today, which is supposed to be in Nyaro's house, will be held in Takamina's house instead. Everyone agrees?" Mariko stated, and asked.

"Un.." They replied in unison, which means, it's set.

Takamina, who just relieved, thank Haruna for her house, "Thank you, NyanNyan.."

"Uh? What? No need to thank you. We're friends after all, yet, nobody is at home, so it's kinda boring and quiet" Haruna replied.

Miichan, who suddenly hugged Takamina, whispered, "Don't worry, I'm going to remind you about the sleepover, so that your house will be fully prepared by the time we sleepover."

Takamina, who was shocked, moved her gaze, looking at Miichan, gave her a smile, "Thank you, Miichan. Thank you so much!"

Chapter 4 : The unexpected

Soon, it's lunch time. Students take their time by eating lunch, in the class or outside, or maybe in the canteen instead. But what is definite is, most of them will be spending their lunch time with their friends.

As soon as it's lunch time.

"I'm going to Teacher's Office and meet a teacher, discussing over something. Have fun without me, okay?" Takamina said, while making her move heading out the class.

"And that's our busy class monitor" added Miichan with unhappy tone.

"Guess it can't be helped, huh? She's our class monitor after all, and she's the one in charge of all these things." replied Atsuko while shaking her head.

"Hey.. Anyway, I'm going to school canteen to eat. Anyone coming with me?" asked Miichan, who really loves food.

"I'm coming. I skipped my breakfast again this morning. Can't help but to eat now." replied Tomo, while standing up at the same time. Haruna, on the other hand, just shook her head, giving a sign of not coming, then laid her head on the table, trying to take a short nap.

"Uh.. Guess.. I'm.. Coming?" said Atsuko. "Though I brought my own lunch, but I guess I'm coming just to accompany Tomo."

"Wow.. That's just so sweet of you, Acchan!" replied Tomo.

"And you should keep that in mind, Miichan. Acchan is coming just because of Tomo, and not you." said Mariko, giving her typical grin to Miichan.

"Huff.. Guess I'm all alone today?" replied Miichan after giving a sigh.

"Hahaha" laughed Mariko.

"Ne, Marichan. Are you coming with us?" asked Tomo.

"Uaa.. You need me to accompany you too? I thought you have Acchan already?" replied Mariko giving a grin to Tomo as well.

"Uh.. That's not what I mean. Who knows you wanna eat?" replied Tomo flat.

"Haha.. Are you sure that's all?" asked Mariko teasing. Before anyone could answer, Mariko added "I'm not hungry, and I prefer not coming with you, thanks for the offer. I'll just take a rest in the class." giving a smile.

"Um.. Are you sure, Marichan? Want me to buy you something, maybe? What about you, NyanNyan? Anything you want us to buy?" offered Atsuko.

"No, Acchan. Thank you." replied Haruna, offering a smile as usual.

"Um.. Guess there is something you can buy me." replied Mariko after thinking for a while.

"What?" asked Tomo.

Mariko stood up, come closer to Atsuko, then whispered something to Atsuko. "Jasmine tea, 2 please." then sat down, and said, "Thank you, Acchan"

Atsuko was shocked listening to what Mariko ordered, but nodded her head.

Tomo and Miichan were annoyed, then Tomo said annoyed, "What's with that secretive order."

"Whatever, we're running out of time. We'll go" added Miichan.

"Okay, see you" Mariko said to them, while waving her hands. "Please remember to buy that, Acchan. I'm counting on you." added Mariko.

Mariko, looked at Haruna's back, because Haruna was facing the other side, then thought of something. She just copied Haruna's pose, then started a conversation. "It's just so rare of you."

Haruna seemed shocked, froze for a while, then changed her view to the other side. Shocked, because she saw Mariko looking at her with the same pose she was doing a moment ago.

"Shocked?" asked Mariko, offering her a smile. Before Haruna could reply anything, Mariko added, "I notice you're different today. It seems that something bothered you. Could you tell me what?"

Haruna was shocked because Mariko knew about it. But she didn't want Mariko to be bothered by it as well, so she replied, "Uhh.. Actually there's nothing, Marichan. I'm just tired and want to take a rest. Tonight we're going to have a sleepover, so I want to keep my energy so that I can spend it fully to you guys", Haruna replied, while trying to give a smile as well.

"Really? How long have we known each other, Haruna?" Mariko asked.

The word 'Haruna' gave Haruna another shock, and that shocked can be seen as her eyes widen. Haruna is only used by Mariko when she really meant her, when she's serious, and not fooling around. And that 'Haruna' she just heard, made her realized that Mariko was currently serious, though her tone might sound as usual.

"It's been a long time I didn't call you that, isn't it, Haruna?" added Mariko. "Now I guess you should answer my previous question. How long have we known each other?"

"Un.. Umh.. It's been a long time. 12 years" Haruna replied.

"And do you know what it means?" asked Mariko.

"It means we have been friends for 12 years" Haruna answered.

"It means I know you, and you can't lie to me, Haruna" replied Mariko looking serious. "I know that something IS bothering you, and it's DEFINITELY not about our sleepover tonight. Please don't take today's sleepover as an excuse. I can request the cancellation of today's sleepover, and take all the blame. Shall we just do it?"

"I'm sorry, Marichan. Sorry for telling a lie" replied Haruna looking down, not looking at Mariko any longer.

"It's alright. If you don't wanna tell me, I'm fine with it. But just, please.. Next time, at least don't tell that you're fine or trying to give excuses." replied Mariko. "I'm going to request the cancellation of today's sleepover when they come back. So you don't have to worry about anything. Take some rest, I won't be disturbing. I'm going to walk around the school." added Mariko, while standing up at the same time.

Just when Mariko is about to move from her position, Haruna's hand grabbed her wrist. Mariko, who has already predicted that, shifted her sight and looked at Haruna. Haruna, who was looking back at Mariko now, giving a serious and full of emotional stare, trying to tell Mariko through her eyes.

Mariko just stare at Haruna's eyes, and silence created for some moment, before Haruna broke the silence.

Haruna just couldn't hold it any longer, her stare faded away as she bursted into tears. Her holding Mariko's wrist hand-grip also loosen.

Mariko who didn't expect this situation, was dumbfounded by the scene she just saw. After froze in her position for some time, she then quickly sat down, trying to check and look at Haruna on the face, using her hands to wipe off Haruna's tears, and also caressed Haruna on her head, asking "What happened to you?" Before Haruna could answer anything, Mariko added "Come.." while offering a hug to Haruna. "Let's just go home. I'll handle the rest for you. Don't think too much at the moment, okay? But first of all, let's pack all our stuffs" Mariko told Haruna when she was hugging, caressing Haruna on her head.

Soon, they finished packing up all their things, both standing up, and Mariko took out her hand, offering Haruna to walk while holding hands. Haruna took out her hand, and they went out the classroom with their hands holding, but still, no conversation created as silence occupied their walk until they left the school.

"So, do you want to come with me? But you're going to spend a day or two there. Is it alright?" asked Mariko, breaking the silence.

Haruna didn't really answer, just nodded her head, then looked down, but still holding Mariko's hand, walking hand in hand.

"Um.. Guess I can't really do anything this time, huh?" said Mariko.

"So.. Sorry, Marichan. But thank you. Thank you for accompanying me, and for understanding me." Haruna replied.

"To be honest, I don't fully understand you, but what counts is that I'm trying" replied Mariko with a serious tone.

Haruna, who was shocked at the reply, simply replied with "Thank you, thank you for trying"

"I'll just never give up" said Mariko, giving a smile. "Let's go to my house, I need to take my car key"

Haruna didn't give a reply. She just kept silent, but that means she didn't mind. On the other hand, Mariko took her mobile out, sending a mail to Atsuko. "Acchan, you know I trust you so much that I'll tell you everything I know. Something happened so I'm going out of town now. Haruna is coming with me, and we're going to spend at least a night there. So I really need your help to cancel the sleepover today. Sorry for troubling. I'm ready to take all the blame."

Soon they arrived Mariko's house, and Mariko took the car key, both entered the car, started the engine, and they moved.

Meanwhile - Miichan, Tomo, Acchan who was on their way back to class

"Uaa.. Email from Marichan?" said Atsuko when she received the mail.

"So, our Acchan is secretively mailing Mariko all the time? Kinda unbelivable, huh?" Miichan teased.

"Our Acchan? What do you mean by that? I guess it's supposed to be 'My' Acchan, and not 'Our' Acchan" replied Tomo.

"Well, Acchan doesn't only belong to you. She belongs to us!" said Miichan.

"I've told you, she is mine, and not yours. You belong to Takamina, and you should just stay with it. Don't you ever disturb my Acchan." said Tomo while trying to switch position so that she's in the middle, between Miichan and Atsuko.

"Uh.. Could you two please stop fighting over me for a moment? Atsuko said quite annoyed.

2 of them looked confused at Atsuko.

"So, what does Marichan say?" asked Tomo

Atsuko thought for a moment. Something must be really happening that Mariko going out of town all of a sudden, cancelling the plan, and ready to get the blame. What should I say to them? There must have purpose for Mariko telling me instead of others. Guess Mariko doesn't want others to be worried about them? Guess I should just keep the detail as much as possible and just spill the least information as possible. Letting everyone knew what happened seems to be not a good thing. Other than that, I, myself, still unsure what had happened. Should just help Mariko out.

"Um.. Ano.. Mariko asked me to tell you guys that sleepover today is cancelled because Mariko and Haruna are heading out of town. She also added that she's ready to get the blame from us" said Atsuko.

"He? Why all of a sudden?" asked Miichan shocked.

"I don't know. That's all" Atsuko replied.

"Guess so" replied Miichan.

Finally the 3 of them reached their classroom, and saw it clearly that Mariko and Haruna's seat was clean, and no more their things around.

"Guess they really left us?" asked Miichan.

"That must be it" answered Tomo.

Atsuko couldn't answer anything, just giving a sigh as she walked heading to her seat.

"And what happened to Acchan now? Seems so depressed after this news" asked Miichan to Tomo.

"Who knows? You were with us all the time. If you can't think of any, then why can I think of any?" replied Tomo.

"Ah.. You're right. You aren't smarter than me" teased Miichan.

"Stop it, Miichan. It's not the right time" said Tomo.

"Fine.. Fine.." said Miichan, when the two of them made their way to their seat.

"Acchan, I'm going to tell Takamina about it, so don't have to be worry" said Miichan while giving Acchan a wink.

"Thank you, Miichan. I'm counting on you" replied Atsuko.

Deep in Atsuko's thought.. Mariko ordered Jasmine tea all of a suden. Jasmine tea isn't Mariko's favorite drink. Mariko must have realized that something is wrong, so she ordered it for Haruna. But, guess things aren't as smooth as she thought? So that she left all of a sudden without waiting for us, and cancelling the plan? Wondering what actually happened. Hoping that they're just fine. Mariko, I'm counting on you to bring Haruna back to herself.

Deep in Tomo's thought.. Atsuko being so weird all of a sudden. She must knew something we don't.. She must be thinking about it. But why did she wanna keep it from us? Is it related to both of them? Is it related to all of us? All of a sudden, I really hope that I can read other people's mind so that I can just knew whatever they're thinking about. This is really killing me now. Wondering what actually happened to all of us.

Deep in Miichan's thought.. What am I going to tell Takamina now? What should I tell so that she could just accept it without questioning me any longer or even worse, thinking about it again and again and started worrying? Really need idea now. Mariko.. Why did you mess up things this easily?

Chapter 5A : Our Little Vacation Part I

[In the car]

"I'm hungry. Just realized that we didn't eat anything during lunch. Wanna eat anything in particular?" Mariko started a conversation, asking Haruna.

Haruna just shook her head, giving a sign of no. "I don't feel like eating anything" added Haruna.

"Are you sure? You shouldn't skip lunch, should you?" asked Mariko worried.

"It can't be helped" replied Haruna.

Mariko stopped the car in front of a store.

"Okay, I'm going to get myself something to eat. You can just wait in the car for a moment. It won't take a long time. Is it alright?" asked Mariko. "And, are you sure there's nothing I can get you?" added Mariko worried.

"I'm fine, Marichan. Stop treating me like a kid" replied Haruna giving a slight smile.

Somehow, Mariko felt a lil bit relieved looking at Haruna's smile, replied "Okay, understood" then made her way to the store.

It really didn't take a long time for Mariko grabbing all the things she wanted, purchasing it, and entered the car. Mariko who was now sitting on the driver's seat, took out a bread from the plastic bag, and gave it to Haruna, which made Haruna shocked and looked at Mariko.

"Eat this. You didn't feel like eating anything, but you must eat something" Mariko said offering a smile on her face.

Haruna who was hesitant, made Mariko added, "You don't think I added poison inside, do you?"

Shocked at Mariko's words, Haruna took the bread and said, "Thank you, Marichan"

"Don't mention it. It's just the least thing I can do to you now" Mariko simply replied. "Ah.. And also.. Before I forgot, I also bought us some drinks for our journey there. You don't need my help to take it out, do you?"

"Um.. No, I can take it myself. Thank you" Haruna replied.

"Good, then I guess can drive without having myself thinking about you now. Am I right?" asked Mariko.

Haruna simply nodded and added, "You should have done that long time ago"

"Ehh? Do what?" asked Mariko confused.

"Don't think of me too much. I'm fine" replied Haruna.

"Well, guess it can't be helped" said Mariko. How can I simply don't think about you? Something troubled you and it's just too rare that it effects you. I'll do whatever I can. There's no giving up.

"So, shall we go now? I'll start driving, so prepare yourself. It might took quite some time, so you can just lower your seat, and sleep, since you seemed really tired of thinking. I'm definitely going to wake you up as soon as we arrived. Okay?" Mariko said, giving Haruna a wink.

Haruna just nodded her head. As soon as Haruna finished eating, searching for the drink from the plastic bag, shocked at it. Jasmine tea? Thank you, Marichan. Drink a little, then sitting still for some time, she slept due to her fatigue.

Realizing that Haruna has slept, Mariko stopped the car on the side of the road, lowered Haruna's seat so that she's comfortable enough to sleep.

Looking at sleeping Haruna, deep in Mariko's thought.. I wonder what I can do to get your smile back. It's only been half a day, but it feels like years. Hoping this idea would bring your smile back to me. Let's just have fun for this weekend. Both of us, you and I. soon, Mariko continued driving.

After some time, Mariko arrived their destination. She was supposed to wake Haruna up, but in the end, she decided not to wake Haruna up. She just looked at the sleeping Haruna, and enjoying the food she bought. While she was eating, Haruna suddenly woke up.

"How's your sleep? We've arrived here for some time, but since you're deep in your sleep, I decided not to wake you up" said Mariko.

Haruna who didn't bother herself to respond to Mariko's question, looked around. The scenery is somehow so familiar to her, she can't helped but to be shocked by it. Unconsciously letting out, "Ehh.."

"Welcome home!" Mariko said.

Haruna, who was still dumbfounded, asked, "How.. can.. this.."

"Of course this can happen. I'm the one driving us here. Shall we get out of the car now?" Mariko asked.

"Un.." Haruna replied while nodding at the same time.

Then both of them get out of the car, looking at the view outside the car. Both looking at the same view, not talking to each other, but both had a smile on their faces as they try to enjoy the scene as much as possible.

"Do you miss this?" asked Mariko, breaking the silence.

"So much" replied Haruna.

"How much?" asked Mariko quickly.

"Just so so so so much" replied Haruna.

"How much is the just so so so so much?" asked Mariko again.

"Marichannn.." Haruna said as she turned to Mariko, trying to beat Mariko softly with both of her hands.

Soon after Haruna whined, Mariko hugged her, "Hahaha.. I'm just kidding"

"Un.. Thank you, Marichan" thanked Haruna.

"It's not a big deal. So, any place you wanna go? I can drive you there" asked Mariko.

"No, I'm all yours today. Drive me anywhere you wanna go. I'll just be following" answered Haruna, with a smile on her face.

"Hm.. Such a great answer. You're all mine today, and you should keep that in mind. You should do everything I ask!" said Mariko giving Haruna a grin.

"Uhh.. Can I take back what I said before?" asked Haruna.

"Shall we? Well, unfortunately you can't. Let's just get into the car. We're going again" said Mariko while releasing her hug.

[In the park]

"Nah.. We're here now" Mariko said as she parked her car.

Haruna who got out of the car as soon as Mariko parked her car, made her move to the swing.

Mariko who got out of the car later, just followed Haruna from behind.

Haruna sat on the swing, and let Mariko pushed her from the back.

"Having fun, Nyaro?" asked Mariko starting a conversation, still pushing Haruna on the back.

"Un.. As always" replied Haruna.

"Nice to hear it. Anyway, you remember this place, don't you?" asked Mariko again.

Haruna nodded her head.

"It means you remember what happened here, don't you?" asked Mariko.

"Uhh?" confused Haruna tilted her head a bit, and started thinking.

"Try to remember it" Mariko requested.

"Don't really remember what thing in particular you meant" Haruna said sadly.

"Uh.. Our promise?" Mariko said, giving a clue.

"Ah.. So that one!" Haruna said happily. "We promised to be honest to each other. That's when I was a kid, when I cried for my not granted wish. You're the one who brought me here, pushing me on the swing, just like how it was." said Haruna reminiscing.

"Yes, you remember it now, huh.. Who can imagine that thing could happen again when we're in high school?" added Mariko.

"Ehh.. But it's not totally the same. I was crying that time, and I'm not now" complained Haruna.

"Well, you cried this afternoon, Nyaro. Have you forgotten about that?" teased Mariko.

"Ehh? I did? Guess it can't be helped but to cry" Haruna said, giving excuses.

"Well, it's alright. That's not the important part. Here's the important part" Mariko said, which made Haruna shocked.

"What do you mean?" asked Haruna as Mariko stopped pushing.

"You're so different during class. You had no concentration at all during classes, which made me assumed that there definitely is something bothering you so much. I asked you before, but you didn't wanna tell. Well, I won't force you to tell me, since I have no right to do that. But, I just want you to know that if you really wanna tell me, feel free to tell whenever it is. It might help me a lot in understanding you. I'll be ready anytime. Though you don't tell me, please remember it that I won't ever leave you alone as well. Your coming to my life brighten my day, and I want to cherish it all of my life. Your smile means a lot to me. Please just stop thinking too much and be your true self, can you?" Mariko told Haruna.

Haruna, who was listening attentively at Mariko, finally made a longer reply compared to her previous replies.

"Um.. Is it that obvious? Well, I did have lots of thoughts during our class and had no concentration at all. But that's just really not that important, and you should just stop worrying about me. I promise I'll tell you if I really need your help. Is it fine? Anyway, thank you for your offer and your trying to understand me. That means a lot to me." Haruna replied offering a smile. This time, her smile is just a so relaxing smile.

"Yes, it's just so obvious, Haruna. Hm.. Well, nice to hear that you admit everything. Please just be honest to me. You don't have to worry about telling me. I won't force anyone, especially you. Being honest means a lot to me. You don't mind, don't you?" requested Mariko

"Un.. Sure.. Thank you, Marichan" said Haruna.

"And once more, things are settled here, in the sacred place of ours." said Mariko, offering a big relaxed smile on her face.

"Isn't that the reason why this place is sacred for us?" asked Haruna.

"Yes, Nyaro is always right" Mariko replied, teasing Haruna.

"Marichan.." Haruna whined.

"And this sacred place of ours, will be our sacred place, forever and ever" Mariko adding, ignored Haruna's whine.

Mariko pushed Haruna several times before asking, "Shall we go now? It's going to be late. Let's have dinner" as Mariko stopped pushing.

"Let's go, Marichan" Haruna said as she linked her arms with Mariko's.

So, first of all, for our readers, it's the first time the fanfic focus on the four of them. I'm going to update soon about "Our Little Vacation Part II", but at this moment, please enjoy this. Um.. This can be said not as written in the pairing, but, please just enjoy the little chit chat, and if possible, please leave a comment. That's seriously important to me.

Chapter 5B : Our Sudden Sleepover Part I

On their way back to car, Mariko took her phone, sent a mail to Atsuko. "Acchan, things are under control, you don't have to worry. We're currently having fun. What about you? Are you guys hanging out together now? I amreally sorry for the one-sided cancellation, but there's nothing I can do. I bet you really know what I mean since we understand each other really well. I guess I don't have to explain the whole thing to you. Please have fun there. Sorry for can't telling more, it's just a secret between Haruna and I. Haha.." as smiled formed on her face.

Meanwhile in Takamina's house

"So, in the end, we're having sleepover in Takamina's house, as planned" said Tomo whining.

"Well, the difference from the plan is, it's only 4 of us." added Atsuko.

"Um.. It doesn't really matter actually since we're going to sleep together. You know.. Imagining all of us sleeping TOGETHER is just like.." said Miichan imagining how it would be.

"Stop it.. Stop it.. It's not the right moment now." Takamina responded, trying to stop the conversation from going further.

"I agree. We gather here so that we can get the most up-to-date information regarding to what's happening now." said Tomo flat. "Since we know that Mariko only mailed Acchan, her special one." added Tomo annoyed.

"Sorry for that, Tomo. It can't be helped." replied Atsuko.

"It's okay. So, shall we order something to eat now? I'm quite hungry" asked Tomo.

"What do you wanna eat? Let's just order. I'll just follow what you guys want to." responded Takamina.

"Um.." Atsuko hummed while thinking. All of a sudden, a mail from Mariko came.

"Ahh! Finally! Mail from Marichan!" shouted Atsuko, shocked the 3 of them.

"You looked like you just got mail from your boyfriend, Acchan" teased Miichan.

"Don't you tease Acchan that way. You know this is a serious matter" protested Takamina.

"Sorry.. Sorry, Takamina. Don't you get angry with me." pleased Miichan Takamina.

"Ehh? I'm not angry at all", said Takamina, giving a pat on Miichan's shoulder.

"Okay, enough of seeing this. Witnessing too much TakaMii might be not too good for my health!" complained Tomo.

"Hey! It isn't fair.. Why are you complaining that way? I, myself, didn't complain when Acchan and you having all lovey-dovey moment this afternoon! Why should you complain when I just started enjoying lovey-dovey moment with my fellow Minami?" replied Miichan.

"Hm.. Guess you guys are not bothered to know what Mariko mailed me. Fine, understood" said Atsuko all of a sudden, after reading the mail Mariko sent.

"Hey!! No.. That's not what we meant. I'm just really really curious about it." pleased Miichan.

"Could you please tell me what she mailed?" asked Tomo.

"No, Tomo. Sorry.. Miichan and you keep on arguing on silly things, though there's something serious happening." said Atsuko.

"Hey.. Hey.. Hey.. You are not going to forget about me, aren't you? I didn't join their silly argue.." protested Takamina.

"Um.. Well, you're right. At least you know which one is the more serious problem and not joining their silly matter. I'm going to tell you. But.. only.. you.. " said Atsuko.

"That isn't fair! How could you just tell her without telling me? We are WMinami.. Can't be separated. Telling Takamina means you have to tell me as well." protested Miichan, pouting.

"Sorry, Miichan.. I can't tell you. I'm just so sick at your-keep-on-arguing with Tomo. Sorry, Tomo." replied Atsuko.

"Fine, understood. Let's just stop this silly fight for a while." said Tomo looking at Miichan, offering a handshake.

"Accepted. So, are we allowed to know what Marichan mailed you?" asked Miichan.

"Shall we let them know?" asked Atsuko to Takamina.

"Well, up to you, Acchan. You have the right to do everything. Haha" replied Takamina.

"Fine. I decided not to tell you unless both of you treated us today." said Acchan, requesting something.

"Uh? I never thought that you could do that to me, Acchan" Miichan said depressed.

"What do you mean? That should be my line!" Tomo protested Miichan.

"What do you mean by it's supposed to be your line? Can't I say that?" replied Miichan.

"Yes, you are not allowed to say that. That's my line!" replied Tomo annoyed.

"And their silly argue started. Let's just leave them alone." Atsuko said as she held Takamina's hand and lead her out of her house.

Takamina simply nodded her head, and let herself being dragged by Atsuko.

"Hey, are they leaving us? That's just.. Unacceptable! U N A C C E P T A B L E ! How can your Acchan drag my Takamina away from me?" Miichan complaint, unhappy that Takamina was dragged away from her.

"Well, guess I should just be far away from you, Miichan. You bring unluckiness for me. I'm just damn UNLUCKY because of you" Tomo said flat, walking away.

"And you're not going to leave me alone as well, are you?" Miichan complained once more, chasing after Tomo.

"Sorry, for everything. Let's just be together for a while. At least not leaving me alone in boredom, please.." pleased Miichan.

"Whatever, just treat me dinner, and I'll accompany you." requested Tomo.

"Hey.. You're just like Acchan. Both wanted to be treated. It's not fair!" complained Miichan.

"Well, it all happened because of you, who keeps on complaining. Now you have to treat me, otherwise I'm leaving you alone." said Tomo.

"Fine, fine. What do you wanna eat?" asked Miichan.

"Um.. Actually I wanna eat meat, but seems that it's hard to order for delivery, isn't it? Let's just go with katsudon." said Tomo.

"Katsudon? Are you sure? Let's just take 4. Order it for that 2 as well, what do you think?" asked Miichan again.

"Well, I don't mind since you're the one who's going to pay." replied Tomo with a chuckle.

"Oh you're right. I shouldn't have asked you." Miichan said, pouting. "Shall we find them or order first?" asked Miichan.

"Let's just order first, then find them. I'm just hungry now, and I have no idea how long it will take us to find them." said Tomo.

"Fine.. I'm calling" said Miichan. In the other hand, Tomo was just sitting down, frowning.

"Hey.. You shouldn't just sit down and do nothing. You can help me by sending mail to your dear Atsuko-who-stole-my-Takamina-away telling them if I have ordered dinner, right?" protested Miichan.

"Fine.. Fine.. You really should just stop protesting." said Tomo, as she took out her mobile, and sent mail to Atsuko.

Mail message, "Acchan, sorry for our silly argue. I know it annoys you. So sorry for it. Please come back soon. Ah! Miichan as ordered us dinner, so you can just come back as soon as possible. We're waiting for you patiently in the house.", as she sent the mail.

"I've sent the mail." informed Tomo, still sitting down doing nothing. Well, it's not really doing nothing, it's waiting for both food and their friends to come back, to be exact.

Meanwhile, AtsuMina

Atsuko dragged Takamina to the park nearby.

"Sorry for just dragging you. Actually, I was kinda sick of their conversation. Well, it's not that I dislike their conversation. Just, it's not the right time to have those silly conversations, right?" Atsuko said, trying to explain it to Takamina.

"Yes, you're right. Having that kind of conversation doesn't really matter, IF we're having fun or relaxed moment. But, things are currently serious, yet they can't stop their silly argue. I understand that really well. Um.. Sorry for leaving you.. Um.. I meant leaving you guys during lunch time." said Takamina as she apologized to Atsuko.

"It's alright. So, Marichan is actually giving me happy news. She said that things are under control, and they're having fun. She actually asked us to have fun as well. Guess she really knows what's happening huh? Sometimes I doubt that she really left the town." said Atsuko to Takamina.

"Haha.. Well, she really observed us well for these years." replied Takamina, offering a laugh.

"Oops. I forgot to reply Marichan. Can you wait for a while? I'm going to reply Marichan's mail." requested Atsuko.

"Sure, go ahead." said Takamina.

As soon as Takamina said so, Atsuko really only focused on replying to Mariko's mail. "Ah.. I'm glad to know that. We're actually having a sleepover at Takamina's house, and not really having fun. But we're going to try to have fun. We really miss both of you here. But, it seems that can't happen right? Both of you must be happily dating now. Sorry for disturbing. Thank you for informing us."

"Sent!" said Atsuko.

"Okay, so, can I ask something? I'm curious what actually happened when I was away this afternoon." requested Takamina.

"Ehh? Didn't Miichan tell you about it?" asked Atsuko shocked.

"Well, no. She only told me that the sleepover today was canceled by Mariko because Mariko and Haruna were heading out of town. That's all." said Takamina.

"Ah.. I see.. Guess she's only telling you the most important point. Haha" replied Atsuko as she laughed.

"Ehh? Am I that funny? Why did you laugh??" asked Takamina shocked.

"No, it's okay. Um.. Well, I'm not so sure what happened as well, but I'm just telling you from my point of view. Is it okay?" asked Atsuko.

"Of course it's okay, at least I knew a lil bit of it. A lil bit of it is still much better than knowing nothing about it, isn't it?" said Takamina, offering Atsuko a gentle smile.

"Okay, so, after our break, the one we discussed about the sleepover?" asked Atsuko.

"Yes, I remember." replied Takamina as she nodded her head, as she tried to listen as attentive as possible.

"Ever after that discussion, I spotted something is different from NyanNyan. Well, she looked like she didn't have any concentration at all. You probably didn't know about it because you sit in front of them. But from the back, all I can judge is, she seems to be that way. Honestly, I never thought that this is going to happen. I meant, we all know that NyanNyan is genius, and she gets bored in subjects often. But, it seems that Mariko spotted something different as well. Just right after you left the class during lunch, Miichan planned to go to school canteen with Tomo, and I joined them only to accompany Tomo. So, well, I don't really know what happened after that. I received a mail from Mariko all of a sudden, canceling the sleepover today. That's all I know" Atsuko honestly told Takamina.

"I see. Mariko really understands NyanNyan really well. I'm kinda jealous looking at them" commented Takamina, being honest to Atsuko as well.

"Well, you're right. They're just so close to each other and I think Mariko really protected Haruna so much. She cared her so much that sometimes made me jealous." Atsuko said, agreeing what Takamina said.

"But, guess we shouldn't complain much since we're in a group, and understand each other equally. Well, I can see that Miichan often gets jealous when Tomo got your attention." Takamina said, while giving a laugh, remembering their mates.

"Seems that's the reason between their silly argue. Almost all the time because of that kind of fact. Well, the same thing applies to you. I can see that Miichan understood you well, and that's the reason why she only told you the important parts, without bothering you why Mariko and Haruna suddenly disappeared." said Atsuko.

"Or perhaps she didn't know any other thing since she sits beside me, in front of all of you" added Takamina, still laughing.

"Well, that's also possible. Haha" Atsuko said, laughing along with Takamina as well.

"Oops.. A mail" Atsuko said as she received a mail.

"Ehh? Tomo?" she said shocked, confused as well.

"What happened to them? Let's read it" said Takamina, being impatient now.

"Uh.. Well, fortunately there's nothing serious, and they can settle their own problems when they're alone." said Atsuko.

"Guess don't really argue when they're alone, without us, do they?" asked Takamina.

"Well, I guess so? It seems that they're not arguing." replied Atsuko.

"Leave that aside, let's just go back and see how well they're doing, should we?" asked Takamina.

"You're right. Let's go back." said Atsuko, holding Takamina's hand, which shocked Takamina. "You don't mind, do you?" asked Atsuko.

"Well, definitely not. Just shocked" replied Takamina, giving Atsuko her typical laugh.

"Umh.. Do you want an honest answer or fake answer?" Mariko asked Haruna back, giving Haruna her typical grin.

"Honest answer, maybe?" answered Haruna doubt, tilting her head a bit.

"Well, if that's your answer, then I'm going to say that I don't know where we're heading and I don't know what to eat as well, MAYBE?" answered Mariko teasing Haruna.

"Marichan!! Stop joking, please?" requested Haruna, giving Mariko a pout.

"Haha.. NYARO!! Stop pouting, PLEASE?" answered Mariko again, imitating Haruna.

Haruna only let out a sigh. "I don't know what to say now" she complaint.

Mariko, still copying Haruna, sighed, then said "I don't know what to say now".

"I don't understand now." Haruna complaint.

Suddenly, a mail from Atsuko received. "Ehh.. I have a mail." said Mariko.

"Want me to help you read it, Marichan?" offered Haruna.

"Um.. Should I? Actually you know if Acchan and I have tons of secrets, don't you?" teased Mariko.

"Ah.. Sorry.. I forget" excused Haruna, looking quite upset.

"Hahaha.. Doesn't matter.. You can just read it out. There's actually no secret. The only secret is in our mind, since I don't have to explain a lot to Acchan. We're kind of having telepathy skill." said Mariko after laughing out loud.

"Are you sure, Marichan?" asked Haruna, waiting for Mariko's confirm.

"Sure. Just open the mail and read it out." said Mariko, as she smiled.

"Okay, I'm opening. Uh.. Ah.. I'm glad to know that." Haruna read, as she tilted her head, looking confused at what they're mailing about.

"We're actually having a sleepover at Takamina's house" continued Haruna. "Ehh.. They're having sleepover today?! Without us?" Haruna commented upset, then giving out a pout.

"and not really having fun." continued Haruna again, "They're not having fun? How can it be? I mean, it's the 4 of them. They seemed to be close, aren't they?" asked Haruna.

"Um.. Yes, it's the 4 of them. Don't you forget that there's Miichan and Tomo who likes to argue over silly things." Mariko reminded Haruna.

"Ah.. But I think they're quite well-matched. Am I wrong?" asked Haruna, telling what she thinks.

"Um.. Actually that isn't totally wrong. They're quite well-matched, ONLY IF it comes to food or something related to it, such as going to canteen for eating, and so on. Other than that, I think they argue quite a lot." said Mariko.

"Hm.. I see.. I must be really bad at observing" said Haruna.

"Nah.. And that's our Nyaro! Nyaro is just never good at observing." said Mariko, shocking Haruna.

"Ehh? Are you serious? Am I really that bad?" asked Haruna shocked.

"Well, actually no. I just wanted to say that. Hahaha.." answered Mariko as she laughed.

Haruna pouted, which made Mariko added, "Cute.. Our Haruna is still as cute as before, isn't she?"

Listening Mariko said that she's cute, Haruna awkwardly smiled, as blush went all over her face. She's just as red as tomato now. Mariko, who realized Haruna was blushing, simply didn't continue to tease her any longer.

"Continue reading please, Nyaro. Or that's the end?" requested Mariko.

"Ah.. Okay.. Um.. But we're going to try to have fun." continued Haruna. Before Haruna could comment anything, Mariko commented, "Ah.. Glad to hear that. They'll definitely have fun today. Especially if it's the MinamiMinami. Miichan must be really furious about this sleepover."

"Um.. I don't have any idea. Maybe? Marichan knows more than I, doesn't she? Okay, I'll continue. We really miss both of you here." as she said. "Ahh.. They miss us, Marichan! I'm really really glad." said Haruna happily. Mariko simply nodded her head, then added, "They miss their airhead friend", as Mariko teased Haruna.

"What do you mean by airhead friend? I'm not airhead, Marichan!" as Haruna complaint, pouting.

"Did I say that you're the airhead friend?" asked Mariko, still in teasing tone.

"Uh.. Well, you didn't." Haruna answered as she struggled to answer.

"So, why did you conclude that you're the airhead friend?" asked Mariko again.

"Um.. I.. don't.. know.." answered Haruna.

"Hahaha.. You're funny, Nyaro." laughed Mariko.

Haruna could only looked down, as she admit her defeat moment ago. She continued reading, " But, it seems that can't happen right?", Mariko commented, "So, Acchan really understands me well. She just knew it's impossible right now", which made Haruna went confused.
 
"Both of you must be happily.. Err.. date-ing now.", she continued, as her voice shrinking as well.

"What did you say? I really can't hear it well. Your voice are shrinking as you looked doubt. What did Acchan really write?" asked Mariko.

"Um.." as she keep on thinking, then read the next part silently. "She said that she's sorry for disturbing us, but leaving a thank you as well." answered Haruna, looking happy.

"Wow.. You looked like you just found a treasure chest. You looked really happy after answering my question. Is there anything you keep from me?" teased Mariko.

Shocked, Haruna replied, "Um.. No, not really." Haruna replied.

"What do you mean by not really? It means you have one? Or perhaps more than one?" asked Mariko.

"Well, maybe?" answered Haruna.

"Okay, okay.. Haha.. Sorry, Nyaro. Umh.. Anyway, I don't know what I wanna eat. What do you wanna eat?" asked Mariko, offering Haruna a smile, preventing that topic to go further.

"Um.. Japanese might be nice.." answered Haruna, still thinking.

"Well, Japanese? Japanese food? But what food in particular?" asked Mariko.

"I'd like to try something new." replied Haruna.

"You sure? Something new? Won't regret it?" asked Mariko, confirming that Haruna was sure.

"Um.. Should be." Haruna replied doubt.

"Ah.. You looked unsure. Let's just eat something we're familiar with. Is it okay?" asked Mariko.

"Well, I've told you that I'm just going to follow you, haven't I?" said Haruna.

"Wow.. You reminded me that part!! I totally forget about it. I thought that you aren't willing to do it." Mariko answered shocked.

"Umh.. Not really" simply replied Haruna. Deep in Haruna's thought.. Wonder if you know that I'm just so happy you treated me that way. Being spoiled. Well, what makes me happier is the part you're using your power to control me at good things. You're just so unpredictable and think about my health a lot. Thank you so much, Marichan.

"And that's our tsundere Nyaro!" teased Mariko.

"Marichan!! Stop joking, I'm hungry now" complained Haruna.

"Ah.. I forgot you only ate bread for lunch! Okay, okay.. I'll just choose a place for us." said Mariko.

"Okay" Haruna replied, with a smile on her face. Relaxed smile to be exact.

After some time.. "Here we are!" Mariko said as she parked the car.

"Ehh?" Haruna shocked.

"Well, you haven't forgot my house, have you?" asked Mariko.

"Um.. Of course I haven't. That's why I'm shocked." replied Haruna.

"Well, I've decided that we'll just eat own-made Curry Rice. Is it okay with you, Nyaro?" asked Mariko.

Haruna nodded two or three times, then said, "I'm always fine with it." as she smiled.

"Fine, then it's set! Curry rice for dinner!" said Mariko happily.

Haruna could only smile looking at her happy mate because of curry rice.

Both of them get out of the car, and head to the door. Mariko fished out her house key, and opened the door.

Chapter 5D : Our Sudden Sleepover Part II

[TomoMii - In the house, in the dining room]

"Tomo.. Let's talk about something. It's so quiet here. I'm bored." Miichan started a conversation as the they didn't talk at all ever since Tomo sent a mail to Atsuko.

"What if I refuse?" asked Tomo flat.

"Please.. You know being quiet is my weakness. I just can't sit still and do nothing, just like what you did." Miichan persuaded Tomo.

"Who told you that I'm just sitting still and do nothing?" Tomo asked, started sounding annoyed.

"Well, it's the truth. You're just sitting still, don't talk at all, just do nothing." Miichan said.

"What if I can prove you I'm not just sitting still and doing nothing?" asked Tomo.

"Um.. I don't know." replied Miichan. "What do you want then?" asked Miichan, before Tomo replied.

"Umh.." as Tomo think about it. "You treat us meat for our dinner tomorrow!" she said in a loud and full of spirit tone.

"Ehh.. Another treat? Another one please?" begged Miichan.

"Another one? Um.." Tomo replied as she think about another one. "Ah! I know.. You may not sleep beside Takamina today!" Tomo said, as she grinned.

"Ehh? It's not fair. How can you drag Takamina to this game? I don't want to.." said Miichan, in a childish tone.

"Well, you may choose which one you preferred." said Tomo flat.

"Uh.. Okay, I'll just treat you meat for dinner tomorrow if you can prove that you aren't doing anything except sitting still." said Miichan. Just before Tomo could answer anything, Miichan added, "Wait a moment! What if you can't prove it? What am I going to get?" asked Miichan.

"Well, we don't have to think about it, do we? I'm going to prove it to you." said Tomo.

"Hey! That's unfair. How can you get nothing?" complaint Miichan.

"What's about the unfair thing again? I'm going to prove it to you, and that's all, isn't it?" said Tomo.

"Uh.. I really doubt it actually.." said Miichan.

"Well, should I prove it to you now? Are you ready to treat us?" asked Tomo cunning, giving her grin, as if she has won the game.

"Sure. Please prove yourself." Miichan said.

"Okay, so, I wasn't just sit still and do nothing. I did do something, I was waiting." said Tomo.

"Ehh? That's all? How can you say that as a proof?" asked Miichan, still shock.

"Well, you know the word waiting, don't you? As we all know, 'wait' is a verb, and that means I'm doing an action. Am I right?" said Tomo giving Miichan her grin.

"Well.. I.. do.. know.. but.." Miichan said as she struggled to find words. "That's just unacceptable!" Miichan complaint.

"How can you say that it's unacceptable? It's true, and there's nothing wrong about it." said Tomo flat. Before Miichan could reply, Tomo asked, "You are not going to break your promose, aren't you?"

"Uh.. Of course! Of course.. I won't break.. my promise." Miichan said sadly, as Tomo started to get excited thinking about the dinner they will have tomorrow.

"Good, you're just such a good kid." Tomo said, as she pat Miichan's head.

Miichan, who just lost to Tomo, accepted the pat as it soothed her.

Soon, Atsuko and Takamina arrived home.

"I'm home!" Takamina said, in a loud voice, in order to let them know that they're back.

"We're back." Atsuko said, right after Takamina, with the same purpose, only to let them know.

"It's quiet, isn't it? Wondering if they're really fine after we left." Takamina said to Atsuko.

"Yes, it's just like aftermath of a war. No voice, no noise, just a really silent moment." Atsuko added, agreeing Takamina.

"Let's go and find them." Takamina said, as they started to look for the other two.

Soon, they reached the dining room, found two of them.

"Hey!! Acchan! Takamina! You are back!!" Tomo said happily, as she waved her hand to them.

"Hey, Tomo. You looked so happy. Well, what happened to Miichan? Looked so depressed" Takamina said, as she waved back to them.

"What just happened? You are so happy, while Miichan is so depressed" asked Atsuko to Tomo, as Takamina and Atsuko made their way to two of them.

"I've got happy news for all of us!" Tomo said happily.

"Ehh? Well, what?" asked Takamina shocked, while Atsuko was just waiting for Tomo to continued.

"Our dinner today was a treat by Miichan!" Tomo said happily.

"Ehh? That's the happy news? I thought you've told us through the mail." Atsuko said, upset in the answer.

"Hahaha.. That's not all!" Tomo said, purposely making them curious.

"What do you mean? There's even more of it?" asked Takamina, shifting her look Tomo to Miichan, who juse looked on the floor, depressed.

Tomo nodded, then added proudly, "Miichan is going to treat us meat for our dinner tomorrow!"

"What?" asked Takamina and Atsuko in unison, shocked by it.

"I know it's kinda surprising, but you don't have to be that shocked, do you? asked Tomo.

"Well, how can that happen?" asked Atsuko curious.

"This Tomo cheated me!" Miichan said as she pointed at Tomo, cutting off their conversation all of a sudden.

"Hey! You!! Stop making up stories. I didn't cheat at all" Tomo said, turning around and looked at Miichan with her scary glance.

"Seriously, I don't really understand" Takamina said, as she looked at both of them.

"I don't understand it too, mind to tell us?" asked Atsuko.

"So, it all happen because I've beaten her" Tomo said, looking at Takamina and Atsuko, but pointing at Miichan.

"Beat her?" Atsuko repeated, as trying to understand.

"Yes, I beat her. It's not the beat as I beat her up, but I defeated her in a game of ours using our intelligence" said Tomo proud.

"Really? How can that happen?" Takamina said in amazement.

"Takamina, I know that you always get high grades in the class, while I get lower than yours. But it doesn't mean I'm dumb or else" said Tomo flat, in a quite annoyed tone.

"Hahaha.. Sorry, I was just dumbfounded that actually there's someone who can made Miichan did that" replied Takamina, laughing now.

"Well, it's quite unexpected actually" replied Atsuko. "Unexpected at both Tomo defeated Miichan, and the fact that Miichan agreed that kind of punishment" Atsuko added.

"I don't have a comment regarding that, but we can see that actually it's pretty easy to make Miichan did that." Tomo continued.

"Umh.. Honestly I never had that thought. Guess that's your special skill, Tomo?" Takamina said, as she still couldn't hold her laugh looking at this two sillies.

"I'm going to take that as a compliment. So, thank you for the compliment, Takamina.." Tomo said.

Just before anyone said something, Miichan suddenly complaint, "Hey! You guys aren't going to forget about me, are you?"

"Hahaha.. Of course we're not going to forget you." Atsuko said laughing, as she offered Miichan a hug.

Miichan happily walk towards Atsuko, received her hug. "Thank you", as she received a pat on her head from Atsuko.

Tomo, who seemed to be quite jealous, added "You're not allowed to only listening to a part, since it's going to be a misunderstanding."

"Ehh? What do you mean?" Miichan asked as she broke the hug.

"How can we forget you, if you're the one who is going to treat us meat tomorrow?" Tomo added, with a grin formed on her face.

"You're.. You're so.. mean.. M E A N.. So mean, you know. How could you do that to me?" Miichan complaint.

Takamina and Atsuko just looked at each other, then continued looking at this two friends of theirs, started their little war. They're pretty amazed at how fun actually their lil war was, since they knew that Mariko and Haruna was also enjoying their moment.

"That's another mistake" Tomo said, pointing at Miichan's mistake.

"What do you mean by a mistake? I don't think I make any mistake." Miichan said.

"You're question is supposed to be, 'Why do you treat me that way? WHY IS IT ONLY ME?' or something like that" said Tomo, imitating Miichan.

Takamina and Atsuko who watched the two of them, couldn't hold their laughter any longer, and let out a laugh.

"You're not laughing at me, are you?" Miichan protested at both of them.

Takamina just ignored Miichan, and continued laughing. "Hahaha.. Sorry, Miichan.. It can't be helped. You're just so funny" Atsuko said as she pinch Miichan's cheek.

"Acchan is right. Both of you are really funny. Come here, let me give you a hug" Takamina said as she offered her a hug.

Miichan walked to Takamina and received a hug from her.

"That's much better" Tomo said, as Miichan hugged Takamina.

"Anyway, you have ordered us food, haven't you?" Atsuko asked Tomo.

"Well, that person is the one on duty. She was the one ordered it." Tomo said as she pointed at Miichan.

"What do you mean by that person, huh?" Miichan replied. "I'm Miichan!" she complaint.

"Okay, okay, enough for now. How long has it been?" asked Atsuko.

"Um.. It's supposed to arrive soon." replied Miichan.

"Okay, I'm just hungry now." Takamina said.

"Well, if you are hungry now, guess you have an idea how hungry I am now" Tomo replied.

"Well, guess all of us are hungry now, am I right?" said Atsuko.

They just nodded their head. Not long after that, the doorbell rang, and Takamina, as the home owner, opened the door, received the food, while Miichan was the one who paid, brought the food to the dining room.

Right before they ate, Atsuko said, "Thanks to Miichan for the treat", as she served the food.

One by one said, "Itakadakimasu" before enjoying their dinner. Dinner was filled with smile as they're filled with good news. Didn't have to think about Mariko and Haruna as they're also having a great time. Dinner was filled with laughter and smile, from each of them. Creating another great memory.

I like how Tomo trick Miichan,
reading 4 of them, it just like our real life having tea time with friend,
Keep teasing everyone and at the end all laugh together,
nonstop teasing some how can say as lil chat war.

Chapter 5E : Our Little Vacation Part III

As soon as Mariko opened the door, she said "I'm home", which is really obvious that no one replied to it.

Haruna was just following Mariko, with a smile on her face as she looked at her surroundings.

"Your house doesn't change at all" Haruna said as she looked around.

"Un.. What do you expect? My house shrunk?" teased Mariko, looking at Haruna.

Haruna sighed, then added, "That's not what I mean, Marichan" as she tried to give an explanation.

"I know.. I know.. As you can see, my house is still my house. Nothing really changed actually." said Mariko. After a moment, Mariko added, "So, I guess I don't have to introduce my entire house to you AGAIN, am I right, Nyaro?"

Haruna simply nodded her head, "Un.. I know this house quite well." she answered as she smile.

"It's good then. Shall we start cooking? You can make curry rice, can't you?" asked Mariko.

"Um.. Maybe?" Haruna answered doubt before she added, "You know I'm not that good at cooking." as her hand brushed her head several times.

"To be clear, it's not our Nyaro not really good at cooking, but she's just really bad at it, isn't she?" Mariko asked as she teased Haruna.

Shy Haruna could only looked down, as blush went all over her cheek.

"It's alright. You can just have fun for a moment. Please make it your home. I'm going to serve us the best Curry Rice ever." Mariko said as she started taking out ingredients needed.

"Um.. Are you sure there's nothing I can do?" asked Haruna, waiting for an order.

"Well, I really think I can handle all of these by myself." Mariko answered after she thought for a moment. "Just think of today as if it's your luckiest day since I'm going to prepare our dinner and spoil you. Understand?" Mariko added.

"Hai.." Haruna answered.

"Oh, right.. Almost forgot to tell you that you can enter my room, take clean towel and use it for shower. Umh.. And also you can just wear my pajamas. That shouldn't be a problem, should it? Well, personally I think it wouldn't be a problem because our features are almost the same." Mariko said as Haruna only listen attentively to her, waiting for Mariko to stop so that she could answer.

"Un.. I don't mind at all. Thank you, Marichan" as she thanked Mariko bowing a little.

"Okay, you can just go now" Mariko said as she acted giving an order to Haruna.

"Hai. I'm going!" Haruna obeyed as she joined Mariko's game.

Mariko could only smile as she saw Haruna joined her game.

[Haruna]

"Ah.. Here's Marichan's room" she said as she arrived in front of Mariko's room.

"I'm going in" as she tried to open the door.

Right after the door is opened, Haruna was just mesmerized by it again. The room is still just like the room she came into before. And also, as tidy as before, and also still white as the background.

Right after entering Mariko's room, finding the clean towel wasn't her priority. She enjoyed staying at Mariko's room, as she can be seen looking around, looking at everything that's in Mariko's room. Soon, she saw the little Mariko. Well, it's a photo of Mariko when she was a kid.

"Ah.. Marichan" she said as she carried the photo frame, reminiscing those moments they have spent together.

After standing still reminiscing for some time, "Thank you" Haruna said, still looking at the photo, as she put down the photo frame back to the position.

Then, she tried to find the clean towel, took out Mariko's pajamas, then head to the bathroom for a shower.

Before Haruna finished her shower, Mariko has finished preparing their dinner. Mariko walked towards the bathroom, knocked the door, and informed Haruna, "Nyaro, you don't faint, do you? Food is ready, I'm waiting for you in downstairs."

Before Mariko left, a voice was heard. "You don't have to wait for me, Marichan"

Mariko ignored what Haruna said, then went downstairs.

"Ehh? You haven't start the dinner?" Haruna asked as she went down and saw two servings of Curry Rice on the dining table.

"Are you kidding me?" Mariko asked Nyaro, as she purposely didn't finish her sentence.

"Ehh?" Haruna shocked.

"Are you kidding me, for asking me to start my dinner without waiting for you?" Mariko simply said. Just before Haruna could answer anything, Mariko continued, "It's just impossible for me to do it if I am able to eat with you together. Umh.. Okay, leave that aside. Let's just eat. Come here, Nyaro."

"Uh.. Thank you, Marichan" Haruna said as she made her way to the dining table.

"Here's yours. Let's eat." Mariko suggested. "But wait, let's take a picture of us with this curry rice before." Mariko said as she took out her camera.

Both girls standing in their position, making poses, ready for taking a picture along with their curry rice. In the end, they took more than a photo.

"Okay, documenting done. Itadakimasu!" Mariko said, Haruna followed by saying "Itadakimasu!"

"How's it?" Mariko asked.

"Ehh? What are you talking about?" Haruna asked confused by the sudden short question.

"The food, Nyaro." Mariko replied short.

"Un.. It's delicious." Haruna answered as she smiled at Mariko.

"It's the first time I'm cooking you this, am I right?" Mariko asked.

Haruna only nodded, still enjoying Mariko-made-Curry-Rice.

"Oh, Nyaro. You can just sleep in my room tonight." Mariko said as she started the conversation.

"Hm?" questioned Haruna as she tilted her head. "What about you?" she continued.

"I can just sleep in my parents' room." Mariko answered as she smiled at Haruna.

"But.." as Haruna stopped talking.

"I'm really fine with it. You really can just use my room." Mariko convinced.

Haruna let out a sigh, then said, "Okay"

Just as soon as they finished their dinner and had a little talk, they decided to go to sleep, which means they're separated. Haruna entered Mariko's room, while Mariko entered her parents' room.

[Haruna]

"This room fits for two. But why did Marichan prefer to sleep in her parents' room?" questioned Haruna as she sighed.

"Does Marichan purposely don't want to sleep with me?" as she continued questioning.

"Ahh.. I'm really tired of thinking today. I've used my brain too much today. It's over-capacity now. Should just go to sleep." continued talking by herself.

Soon, after she said that, she made her way to Mariko's bed, lay on it, trying to sleep, but sleeping thing wasn't that easy for her, especially if it's not in her own room. But, what counts is that she was trying to sleep that badly.

[Mariko]

"Huff.. Sorry Nyaro. I know what you mean, but I think it's just the best thing I can do right now."

"I wanted to sleep in the same room as you so badly, but I don't think it's the best thing I can do. You need a lot of rest, and if I'm there, I'm not sure you'll get the rest you want." she continued.

"It's quite silly to spend it this way, isn't it?"

"I mean, I should just really have fun with Nyaro since it's only both of us here, no parents, no anybody. Just two of us."

"But, seriously.. What can I do? Nyaro has my concern, and looking at her being really tired, lack of rest made me decided this."

"This is just too early! What's with this time? How can I sleep?" as she continued complaining.

Though Mariko complained a lot, she did try to sleep, well, flipping for several times, but still, too awake to sleep.

Decided to take some fresh air, she went out of her parents' room, went downstairs, unlocked the door, and just sat on the bench that's in the terrace.

"This wind is refreshing, huh?" she said, still talking to herself. "I wonder how long I am going to spend my time sitting down here." she continued.

She just kept quiet after then, reminiscing their past as she closed her eyes, relaxing on the bench.

12 years isn't that short time. We used to play a lot here, back in the past. Especially when we're just a kid. Guess it'll just remain as a sweet memory between us since there's no way it could happen again now. We're just too old for that running, games, or so on, isn't it?

Suddenly, she felt warm as something soft and thick covered her. Shocked by it, she opened her eyes, and saw a figure.

"Nyaro?! Why are you here?" asked Mariko shocked. "Aren't you supposed to sleep and take a rest?" she continued.

"I just.. I just can't sleep." Haruna answered in a soft voice.

"You're still the same, aren't you?" Mariko questioned.

"Um.. No.. It's not like that." Haruna answered. "Can I join you?" Haruna asked.

"Are you sure you want to join me?" Mariko asked, looking at shivering Haruna. "Hm.. I see you don't have a blanket. Aren't you quite silly just to take one for me without taking one for yourself?" Mariko said as she stood up and made her way to Haruna, covered Haruna with the blanket Haruna gave her moment ago. "I can see you need this more than me." Mariko said as she chuckled.

Shy Haruna could only looked down.

Mariko, sat down on the bench, the same position as before, only looked at the night sky, observing it quietly. While Haruna, joined her, with the blanket, both remained quiet for some time.

"Ano.. Thank you for everything, Marichan." Haruna broke the silence.

"Don't mention it. It's just my duty." Mariko said as she gave Haruna a wink. "I'm sure they will do the same if only I didn't do anything." Mariko continued.

"Are you that sure?" Haruna asked.

"Yes, I'm just that sure." Mariko answered quick and sure.

"Uh.. Thank you." Haruna thanked once more.

"How many times do you have to thank me for the same thing again and again?" asked Mariko, which made Haruna can't say anything else.

"Uhh.. Sorry.." as she apologized.

"Guess you can only say 'thank you' and 'sorry', am I right?" as Mariko teased her.

Haruna remained quiet, speechless.

"Sorry, sorry. Should we just get inside now? It's getting late." Mariko suggested, and stood up, waiting for Haruna.

Haruna stood up as well, then Mariko pushed her in just like a big sister pushing her little sister moving forward.

"Guess I changed my mind. I'm going to accompany you today." Mariko said as she looked at Haruna.

Haruna just smiled that brightly as soon as Mariko said that, looked at Mariko, then said, "Thank you, Marichan." as she walked in happily.

Chapter 5F : Our Sudden Sleepover Part III

"Uwaa.. I'm so full" Miichan said as she rubbed her belly..

"It's just so delicious, isn't it?" Takamina said.

"Takamina.. Katsudon is always delicious, isn't it?" asked Atsuko.

"Um.. You're right! Katsudon is forever delicious! No doubt" Takamina answered happily, proudly.

"Haha.. That's predictable" replied Atsuko.

"Frankly speaking, this katsudon isn't bad at all" Tomo said.

"Of course it's not bad at all! As you know, it's my order. I choose it! I pay it! How can that be bad?" Miichan said in reply of Tomo.

"Fine.. Fine.. Your treat is always the best, Miichan. Please do treat us more. Ah.. I remember.. Our meal tomorrow might be great as well." Tomo said as she gave Miichan grinning smile.

"Hm.. Tomo will never forget about that treat, won't she?" asked Miichan depressed.

"Sure. That's just SUPER DUPER obvious. How can I forget that meat treat?" Tomo replied questioning.

"Thank you for the treat, Miichan. Um.. Plus thank you in advanced.. For the treat tomorrow" Atsuko said as she gave Miichan a wink.

"So it's 2-1 now? Okay, I'm just giving up now." Miichan said.

"Haha.." laughed Takamina. "Don't worry, Miichan. Treating us will make you feel happy, won't you?" asked Takamina, waiting for consent.

"To be honest, I don't think the word 'us' is placed correctly there." protested Tomo.

"Ehh?" Takamina shocked.

"I think it's supposed to be, treating 'me' will make you feel happy." Tomo said. "Yeah, Miichan would never mind treating Takamina 'ONLY'. I could bet for it." Tomo added, which only make Takamina laughed.

"No.. No.. No.. That's impossible.. She must be happy treating all of us, not only me." Takamina said, denying what Tomo accused.

"Whatever it is. What are we going to do now?" Atsuko asked.

"What time is it now? Aw.. It's still so early.." Miichan replied. "Let's play something to kill the time." Miichan requested.

"Game? Sounds great. What kind of game?" Tomo asked.

"I'm just following. Got no idea what to do now." Atsuko replied.

"Same applies to me. I'll just go with your decision." Takamina said, agreeing to what Atsuko said.

"Okay, so it comes back to both of us." Tomo said, looking at Miichan now.

"We decided again?" asked Miichan. "It's not fun at all!" Miichan complained. "Every time.. It's us who decided what game to play." as she continued.

Atsuko just laughed. "It can't be helped, Miichan. You're the one requesting, and we have no idea about it." Atsuko added.

"Okay, fine. So.. What do you wanna play, Tomo?" asked Miichan to Tomo.

"Anything, since I'm going to win if we're going to play with mind" Tomo replied flat.

"WHAT? YOU'RE UNDERESTIMATING ME!" Miichan said in loud tone, with index finger pointing at Tomo. "Takamina.. You see.. This Tomo underestimates me" as Miichan complained to Takamina.

Takamina just laughed. "Prove it to Tomo that you can win her", Takamina said in between her laugh.

"Seems that Takamina also underestimates you" Tomo said, which made Miichan furious.

Atsuko came to the rescue. "It's enough, Tomo.. She has done a lot for us today." as Atsuko said to Tomo.

"Fine.. Fine.." Tomo said in reply.. "You're lucky today since Atsuko came to help you." Tomo added, giving Miichan her typical grin.

"So, back to the question, what are we going to play?" asked Atsuko.

Everybody is thinking..

"Ah! I got an idea." Takamina suddenly said.

"What game? Using our brain?" asked Miichan.

"Um.. Not so sure.. Can be said so.." Takamina responded to Miichan's question.

"Okay, what's it then?" asked Tomo.

"I have an idea, what about we play guessing?" suggested Takamina.

"Okay, guessing is fine. But what to guess?" asked Tomo.

"Um.. Let's just guess something not really obvious" Atsuko suggested.

"That's a good idea." Miichan responded.

"Yes, it's a good idea, since if it's something really obvious, then Miichan would never have a chance to win against me" Tomo added, still happily torture her dear friend, Miichan.

Takamina and Atsuko tried to hold their laughter. "Fine.. What to guess?" asked Takamina.

"What about.." Atsuko said, then started thinking again.. "What about we guess what are they doing?" Atsuko continued.

"What they? Who?" asked Miichan confused.

"You see, if we're playing to guess the OBVIOUS, then Miichan would definitely hopeless." said Tomo.

"You're acting as if you know what Acchan meant! Prove it if you really know!" challenged Miichan.

"Of course I know. It's just really obvious." Tomo said.

"Proof" Miichan simply cut the conversation.

"What Acchan meant is, guess what those who are absent now doing. Is it clear enough?" Tomo simply said.

"Is it right, Acchan?" Miichan asked Atsuko, waiting for confirmation.

"Um.. Sorry, but she's right." Takamina answered Miichan's question, while Atsuko only nodded her head.

"You see? Everyone knows the answer, while you're the only one. The only one lost in this little world of us." Tomo said.

"Tomo! You seemed to hate me so much, you know" Miichan said as she pouted.

"I got no comment" Tomo simply replied, still chuckling.

"Enough.. Enough.. Don't you feel bored?" asked Takamina.

"I agree.. Let's just start this game and stop this little war" Atsuko said, looking at the two of them.

"So, it's decided that we're going to guess anything about them." Takamina said.

"Then how can we know who guessed it right or wrong?" asked Miichan confused.

"Miichan, oops.. DEAR Miichan.. You're acting as if we're not going to meet them any longer." Tomo said, let out a sigh. "Of course we're going to ask them for confirmation, to know who guessed it correctly" she added.

"Oh okay. How to decide the winner and the loser?" asked Miichan again.

"Um.. Let's just make it.. Whoever guessed the least correct answer is going to get the punishment" Takamina suggested.

"What about the punishment?" Tomo asked.

"Um.. I have a suggestion. What about the loser of the game treat our dinner tomorrow" Miichan suggested. "Well, I mean, I'm going to pay as well. Just.. 50:50, maybe?" she added.

"That doesn't sound bad" Atsuko said after Miichan suggested.

"Well, if it's that way, then it has been decided. The loser is going to pay along with Miichan. Everyone agrees?" asked Takamina.

"Um.. Fine.. Anything will do.." Tomo said.

"Okay, so, it's set. Let's play!" Miichan said happily.

"Ehh? We're playing it here?" asked Takamina. "Are you sure you don't want to play it in my room?" she questioned.

"Alright. Playing in your room sounded more fun! Let's move!" Miichan said in high spirit.

"Let's go." Takamina said, leading the way, while Miichan busily chased after Takamina only to link her arms to Takamina's.

"Let's go" Atsuko said, as she looked at Tomo, which is also replied by Tomo.

Chapter 5G : Part IV

[Mariko's house]

"Here we are" Mariko said as they reached her room.

"Welcome, Nyaro" Mariko said as she opened the door, and welcomed her.

"Thank you" Haruna said as she gave Mariko a little bow.

"Don't have to be that formal" Mariko said as she chuckled.

"O.. Okay" Haruna stuttered.

"Haha.. You're funny, Nyaro." Mariko said. "Let's go to bed" Mariko suggested.

"But isn't it still early?" Haruna asked.

"Early? What do you mean by early? It's 11, and we should just go to bed." Mariko replied.

"B.. But.." Haruna stuttered once more.

"But me no but." Mariko replied quick, making Haruna looked upset.

"Okay, fine. I admit, it's way too early for me to sleep. Honestly. But.." Mariko said as she paused a moment. "But.. We need to sleep now, since the kid beside me needs it." she continued.

That reply of Mariko shocked Haruna. Haruna froze in her current position and expression. That reply must be really shocking her that much.

"Come on.. Let's just sleep, well, correction. TRY to sleep to be exact." Mariko said, as she lay on the bed, fixing her blanket.

Haruna who still froze, gave no response.

"And this kid started." Mariko said softly as she sighed. "Ha.. Ru.. Na..", Mariko said as she tapped Haruna on her shoulder, shocking the frozen Haruna.

Haruna looked at Mariko, "O.. Oh.. Marichan.. Okay.. Let's.. Let's go to bed" Haruna stuttered as she nervously lay herself on the bed, beside Mariko.

"Oyasumiyasai~" Mariko said as she gave Haruna a smile.

"Hai.. Oyasuminasai, Marichan" Haruna replied, as she replied Mariko's smile.

Both Mariko and Haruna were laying on the bed, with their faces facing each other. Mariko closed her eyes first, trying to sleep. Looking at Mariko closing her eyes, Haruna closed her eyes as well. Just some moment after Mariko closed her eyes, she opened her eyes again, staring at Haruna.

Deep in Mariko's thought.. This little funny charming kid. Still the same after all. Though you often sleepover in my house for unknown reasons since you're a kid. You still can't get use to my room, and can't sleep without me being here. Such a funny kid. But whatever.. Watching you sleeping peacefully made me feel much better. Today was a long day. Really really long day. Lots of things happen today. Gonna just start planning what we're going to do tomorrow. Tomorrow must be a really fun day!

Deep in Haruna's thought.. Still closing her eyes, dare not to open her eyes. Trying her best to sleep.. Thank you, Marichan. Lots of things I wanna say, but I couldn't. I'll just keep quiet and observe everything. Tonight, going to sleep in the same place, with the same person beside me. Just don't know why.. I, myself, automatically feel so safe whenever you are here beside me. Though you just keep quiet and waiting for my responses, deep inside me just.. Things are becoming much better and nothing is better than that. You're using the word kid that moment. Wondering you really still think of me as a kid, or else. But whatever. I'm just really tired now, and you being beside me would make me sleep even more soundly.

[Takamina's house]

"How should we do it?" asked Tomo.

"Let's just write it on a piece of paper" Atsuko suggested.

"Fine. Let me give each of you a pen and a piece of paper" Takamina said as she tried to search around.

"Can I have another color aside from pink?" requested Atsuko.

"Is that even possible? Everything around here is pink. Pink this.. Pink that.. Pink everywhere!" Tomo said.

"Haha.. I know.. I'm just kidding." replied Atsuko.

"Ne, Miichan. Why are you so quiet? Meditating?" Tomo asked, looking at Miichan.

"Yes, I'm meditating. I'm meditating so that I win you this time." Miichan said, clasped her hands.

"Fine.. Fine.. Have a nice try. Let's see what happened." Tomo replied.

"Okay, guys. Here it is.. This is for you.. You.. And you.. This is for me." Takamina said, as she distributed each of them a piece of paper and a pen.

"Now, to make it fair, each of us is going to ask a question. Agree? So, totally 4 questions." suggested Miichan.

"Well, everything is fine with me. I'm kinda confident since.." Atsuko replied.

"Oh right. She's cheating. She is close to Mariko." Miichan pointed at Atsuko.

"And you're close to NyanNyan" Tomo added, pointed at Miichan, defending Atsuko.

"But.. But my relationship with NyanNyan isn't as close as Acchan and Mariko!" Miichan replied, defending herself.

"Enough.. Enough.. Isn't the guess is about something that's not obvious? I mean, everybody has a chance for this since it's not obvious." Atsuko said, stopped their talk.

"Okay, fine.. You're right." Miichan replied.

"We're going to write it on a piece of paper, then.." Takamina said, then she stopped. "Are we going to mail them to know the answer, or we ask them tomorrow?" continued Takamina as she asked them.

"You're right. Which one is better?" Tomo said as she tried to think.

"Let's just ask them tomorrow." Atsuko suggested.

"As if we're going to meet them tomorrow." Miichan replied.

"Hey.. We have mobile, and we can contact them. It's just another simple thing." Tomo defended Atsuko again.

"Don't worry, Miichan. That's another easy thing. We're going to meet them tomorrow." Atsuko said, as she gave Miichan a wink.

"Oops.. Acchan winked at me!!" Miichan said in loud voice as she became furious.

"Well, I think she also gave you a wink moment ago, but you're not this furious." Tomo said flat. "Just got connected?" continued Tomo.

"Stop insulting me. Do not insult me!" Miichan protested.

"Whatever." Tomo replied short.

"Fine, let's start. I'm going to start the question." Takamina stopped them.

"Okay.. There you go.. What's the question?" asked Atsuko.

"Um.. Wait a moment. Is it in multiple choice?" asked Miichan.

"Stop pointing the OBVIOUS please." pleased Tomo, looking tired.

"What's with pointing the obvious? I'm confused at what to write. I mean, how can we answer when the range is too broad?" asked Miichan.

"Then, let me asked you now." Tomo started, taking a deep breath, then started, while Takamina and Atsuko only looked at both of them, keep silent. "If you know that the answer range is so broad, then how can we give you options?" asked Tomo.

"Let me make it simple, since this is guessing the NOT obvious one, even us, nobody knows the answer. So, I'm just so sorry that we can't give any options" Takamina tried to explain.

"Okay, bingo. That's it. That's what I'm trying to explain." Tomo said, agreeing Takamina.

"Ah.. You're right. Let's go!" Miichan said.

"Okay.. Let me start.. Um.. What do you think.." Takamina said as she paused, thinking what to ask. "Um.. What do you think.." as what she said cut by someone.

"Wait.. Wait.. I just remembered." Tomo said as she cut Takamina's words.

"What happened?" Takamina asked as she confused looking at Tomo.

"What are we going to guess? The situation, or the answer they're giving us?" asked Tomo.

"Ehh.. I never thought of that. You're right. That's possible to happen." Takamina said.

"Um.. Let's just make it easy, we guess the answer they're going to give us." Atsuko suggested. "Come to think about it, it's impossible for us to force them tell us the truth, isn't it?" asked Atsuko.

"You're right. It's just impossible. So, it's fixed, we're going to guess what answer they're going to give us when we ask!" Takamina said.

"Fine.. Finally it begins" Miichan said.

"Now.. Let's guess.. Why do you think they left us all of a sudden?" Takamina asked. Then the four of them started thinking, and wrote down their guess.

"Finish? Have you finished writing? 2nd question will come from me, okay?" asked Miichan.

"There you go, Miichan" Takamina said.

"Okay, 2nd question.. What do you think they had for dinner?" asked Miichan.

"Miichan.. It's about food.. Well, can't be helped. Miichan and food can't be separated. It's just so UNDERSTANDABLE.. U N D E R S T A N D A B L E!" teased Tomo.

"Why should you tease me when I'm asking my question?" asked Miichan.

"No comment. Let's write our answers" Tomo said as she started writing the answer.

"Okay, next question will be from me." Tomo said. "What do you think they do now? I meant, exactly right now. 11.30pm" Tomo asked.

"Are you sure you're going to ask this?" asked Miichan. "How can they remember? I meant, are they going to watch the time all the time when they're doing things?" asked Miichan again.

"Well, that's not necessary. I don't think they're doing that 'some'thing." Tomo said.

"Um.. Who knows?" asked Miichan.

"Okay, fine.. Who knows." Tomo said, as she looked at her paper, trying to write.

"Finally, last question comes from me. Where do you think they go?" Atsuko asked, as they happily filled in the paper.

"Um.. Actually, after looking at the questions, I doubt that anyone would get the answer correctly." Atsuko said doubt.

"The same applies to me. What if nobody gets a single question right?" asked Takamina.

"Make it simple, all of us are going to be punished." Tomo answered.

"Well, that makes sense as well. Since if no one could answer any of them, it means everybody loses" Atsuko said.

"Right.. Right.. That's absolutely correct." Takamina said.

"Okay, aside from those, I'm curious at your answers." Miichan said. "Shall we see our answers?" requested Miichan.

"First question. Why do you think they left us all of a sudden?" Takamina repeated her question.

"Why should I tell you?" Tomo read her answer, which shocked the 3 of them. "I'm sorry, but it's our secret." Takamina read her answer. "Nothing in particular happened" Atsuko read hers. "I wanna date with NyanNyan" Miichann read hers, which shocked the 3 of them even more than Tomo's answer.

"What the hell answer is that?" asked Tomo.

"What do you think your answer is, TOO?" asked Miichan back.

"At least my answer is more logical than yours" Tomo replied.

"Enough.. enough.. It's not the time to say whose answer is right or wrong since they're not here. Every answer is possible" Atsuko said as she stopped them.

"You see. Acchan is right! We will never know till tomorrow!" Miichan said, looking happy.

"I know everything is possible. But.. Seriously, I don't think that would be the answer." Takamina started, pointing at Miichan's answer.

"Well, it's just what I think.. According to me" Miichan said as she gave Takamina a hug for a moment.

"Okay, let's just skip the next one." Atsuko said.

"2nd.. What do you think they had for dinner?" Miichan repeated her question.

"Best meal ever." Atsuko read her answer. "Sushi" Takamina read hers. "Ehh.. We have the same answer. I also wrote 'sushi' here" Miichan said proud. "Uno.. I don't think you should be that proud since I also wrote sushi" Tomo said flat.

"Ehh.. Why are you following my answer?" Miichan protested.

"Who followed your answer?" answered Tomo.

"Okay.. Okay.. Enough of it. Anyway, Acchan. Your answer is the most unique one.. Well, your answer is the only one different." Takamina said as she looked at Atsuko. "Nice one" she added.

"3rd question.. UM.. What do you think they are doing now?" Tomo repeated her question.

"It's a secret" Atsuko read her asnwer. "Sleeping." Takamina read hers. "Flirting!" Miichan said happily, shocked all of them again.

"What's with that answer again?" Tomo asked.

"Well, it's my answer. Why do you mind?" asked Miichan. "What did you write?" asked Miichan to Tomo.

"Chatting" Tomo read her answer.

"Fine.. All we can judge is, Miichan is so pervert. Pervert answers." Tomo concluded.

Atsuko and Takamina could only laugh at them.

"Last but not least. 4th question.. Where do you think they go?" Atsuko repeated her question.

"Out of town" Takamina read her answer. "Our dreamland" Miichan read hers. "Somewhere" Tomo continued, reading hers. "And I wrote.. Um.. It's a secret" Atsuko said.

"Well, guess if our answer really varies this much.. It's gonna be a hard thing. Really hard thing if I could say." Takamina said.

"Um.. You're right. Nobody said that it's easy in the first place." Atsuko added.

"What time is it now?" Miichan asked, looking for a clock. "Hey!! It's 00.30am now!" Miichan in furious.

"Then?" Tomo asked flat.

"Time for us to sleep." Takamina said.

"So, this game actually works, huh? It really kills the time." Atsuko said.

"Yes, you're right. Let's just prepare ourselves before going to bed." Takamina suggested.

"I'm going to sleep beside Takamina tonight!" Miichan said happily.

"Whatever. Any position will do" Tomo said.

"Are you sure?" Miichan teased Tomo.

"Sure. I'm not you, the perverted one" Tomo replied flat.

"Okay, so it's set." Takamina said.

In the end, they slept in this order ~ Tomo, Atsuko, Takamina, Miichan. The four of them sleep on the mat which is on the floor, each of them occupying one pillow. After preparing themselves, they went to their own place, each of them said "Oyasuminasai" before they closed their eyes and sleep. Taking a rest after this long day.

Chapter 6A : The Reunion Part I

[In the morning - Mariko's room]

Haruna is sleeping soundly beside Mariko, facing Mariko with Mariko's arm wrapped around her. That pose lasted for some hours, during their sleep. None of them break that cuddle. Soon it's 6 o'clock in the morning, and none of them has waken up yet. It's just acceptable since it's Saturday, and it's weekend. No school, no activities, no plans. They're just about to spend their time according to the condition. [The other 4 hasn't invited them for dinner yet]. As we know, Haruna is sleeping soundly in Mariko's cuddle, but Mariko isn't sleeping that soundly. She just fell asleep while cuddling Haruna with her lips still kissing Haruna's hair. After some time, Mariko is waken up by some movements she felt. Mariko opens her sleepy eyes slowly, found the waking up Haruna.

"Good morning, Haruna." greeted Mariko sleepily, with her hoarse voice, while using her other hand (aside from the one cuddling Haruna) to rub her eyes.

"Good morning, Marichan." Haruna replied, still looked confused how is she able to end up sleeping in Mariko's cuddle. Though Haruna is still confused, she doesn't break the cuddle.

"How's your sleep?" asked Mariko, squeezing Haruna a little.

"Um.. Overall, it's great." Haruna answered Mariko's question. "Um.. Marichan.. I wanna ask.. How can we end up cuddling?" asked Haruna confused, trying to look at Mariko's face.

"What did you dream about?" Mariko continued questioning Haruna, not bothering to answer Haruna's question.

"Um.." Haruna thought for some time.

Looking at the thinking Haruna early in the morning, Mariko decided to tell her. Mariko released the cuddle and sat down on the bed, with Haruna sitting down on the bed as well.

"This kid shivers during her sleep, shocking me." Mariko said while patting Haruna's head, and offering a smile on her face at the same time.

Haruna froze in her position. No wonder it feels so real.

Looking at the frozen Haruna, Mariko decided to start conversation again. "Mind to tell me what you dream about?" with an interested look.

"Um.. I dream about.. us.. When we were a kid." Haruna said softly.

"When we were a kid?" Mariko questioned, trying to flashback her memories. "Oshima-san?" Mariko asked doubt.

Haruna simply nodded.

[Flashback]

It was Saturday afternoon. Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima were walking down the streets, along with their child, Mariko and Haruna. Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima were having their usual talk, talking about their project, while Mariko and Haruna were only walking together, following their mother. Suddenly, Haruna's attention was attracted by a figure. It was a kitten. Cute little kitten which caught Haruna's attention. As soon as Haruna saw the kitten, Haruna changed her direction, and walked towards the kitten. Mariko, who was only beside Haruna, realized this, and decided to follow Haruna. Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima who were talking seriously, didn't realized that their kids were not heading the same way as them.

Mariko, who followed Haruna, asked "Haruna-chan, should we go back? Mom is heading there (while pointing at the same time)"

Serious Haruna only had her mind focused on the kitten. Didn't reply Mariko's question, and just continued looking at the kitten, and since the kitten walked, they followed the kitten, till.. Until Haruna realized that they're lost. Their mother can't be seen anywhere, and it's a place they've never been, though it was still in their village.

Soon after Haruna realized that she's in a place she didn't know, she also just realized that Mariko followed her since then. She realized that she had done something wrong, and just felt guilty. Looked at Mariko with guilty stare, while also froze in her position.

"Haruna-chan.. Do you like kitten?" Mariko asked as she made her way to Haruna.

Haruna only nodded since she didn't know how to answer with that guilty feeling.

"Ah.. Kitten is cute." Mariko said, looking at Haruna, offering her a smile.

Haruna only nodded, giving her consent, still unable to smile.

"But.. Mom said I can't have kittens. I always sneeze near them." Mariko continued, as Haruna still listening.

"Marichan.. I.. I don't.. I don't know where we are." Haruna said stuttering as she only looked down.

"It's okay, Haruna-chan." Mariko said as she patted Haruna's shoulder.

"How do we get back?" asked Haruna, looking at Mariko with teary eyes now.

"Um.." Mariko thought for a while. "Let's just wait here." Mariko said, looked relaxed, giving Haruna a smile. The truth is, Mariko herself was also worried and had no idea how. But since she's older, she thought that she should be strong, and must show no worries and be positive. If she didn't do that, then the younger one would be more worried. Other than that, Haruna might feel guilty even more, since they were lost because of her.

Minutes past.. Still.. There's no one to help them. The relaxed Haruna starting feeling guilty again. Mariko who paid full attention, realized this, trying to distract Haruna's attention.

"Haruna-chan.. What do you want to eat for dinner?" Mariko asked, trying to kill their time by having conversation.

Haruna looked at Mariko, confused and wondering as well.

"What food do you like?" Mariko continued asking Haruna, though Haruna didn't answer her previous question.

Haruna shifted her view, looking down now, not looking at Mariko any longer. But still, didn't reply any of the question.

Mariko started to run out of idea. "I like curry rice. Do you like it, Haruna-chan?" Mariko said as she asked Haruna, looking at her.

No response from Haruna, instead, she felt sorry even more.

"Mom said I may help her cook today." Mariko continued, still looking at Haruna.

Haruna's body started shivering, tears started rolling down, still looking down, unable to look up. Eventually, Haruna cried in front of Mariko for the first time. Haruna cried as her emotion reached its peak. She felt so guilty for being the reason they're lost, and even more when Mariko tried to cheer her up. She felt as if she's been a burden and trouble others. Mariko who looked at Haruna since then, realized Haruna started shivering, but still observed her, while thinking what to do. Mariko still hadn't known that Haruna cried. As the time passed by, Haruna shivered even harder, and Mariko just realized that Haruna was crying. The shocked confused Mariko had no idea what to do. Finally she move beside Haruna.

Mariko who was beside Haruna now, hesitantly lure out her hand, pulled Haruna closer to her, let Haruna's head leaned on her shoulder. "Don't cry, Haruna-chan. Don't cry.." Mariko said as she patted Haruna's head with the hand that's cuddling Haruna.

Crying Haruna showed no sign of stopping, but that action of Mariko had its own effect. Haruna had stopped shivering since then. "I'm here and I'll never leave you." Mariko said as she kissed Haruna's head on the side.

"Are you tired? Do you want to have a walk?" asked Mariko to the crying Haruna.

"Wh.. Where do you.. want to go?" Haruna asked stuttered since she's still crying.

"Anywhere.. Let's go!" Mariko said, as she held Haruna's hand, and dragged her.

Two of them walked randomly, just like a stray cat who doesn't know where to go. After some time, they found a place. A place that would be their special place. None of them ever thought that this place would ever be that special.

"Haruna-chan! You see!!" Mariko said excited.

Haruna, who only looked down all the time, eventually looked up and saw a park.

"This is a park! I come here with mom before." Mariko said happy as she dragged crying Haruna to the only swing there. "You sit, I push." Mariko giving orders to Haruna.

Haruna listened to what Mariko said, holding it tight as Mariko going to push her.

"Haruna-chan.. Don't cry anymore, okay? This is a park. I know this place." Mariko told Haruna, still pushing her.

Haruna nodded her head, showing that she heard and understood what Mariko said. She also stopped crying since then.

Mariko felt relieved looking at the calmed-down Haruna. Well, at least Haruna was not crying any longer. Since then, this park has slowly become a special place for both of them. Whenever Haruna was crying or sad, Mariko would just bring Haruna here, and they'll spend their time there. The same applies to Mariko. Whenever she was sad, or need some time, she'll come here, and calm herself down.

"Marichan.. I'm.. I'm sorry" Haruna apologized.

"Sorry? Why?" Mariko asked.

"It's because of me." Haruna replied.

"No.. I follow you. I WANT TO follow you. W A N T want" Mariko responded, purposely spell the word want to emphasize that following her is her own desire.

"Um.. Thank you" Haruna thanked.

"It's alright. I will not leave you alone." Mariko said.

After some time, there's someone approaching them. She's a beautiful, slim teenager.

"Hello" the girl greeted them.

Soon after being greeted, Mariko stopped pushing Haruna. Haruna also stood up and hid behind Mariko.

"Hello" Mariko replied the girl.

"Are you Mariko?" asked the girl.

Mariko shocked, didn't reply the girl, which made her asked Mariko once more.

"Are you Mariko Shinoda?" asked the girl.

Mariko only nodded. "Who are you?" Mariko asked her.

The girl relieved, then squatted down. "Come.. Your mom is worried. I'll bring you home." the girl said as she offered her hand to Mariko.

"How can I believe you?" Mariko asked, still on guard.

The girl could only smile looking at cautious Mariko. "I know your name, Marichan." the girl replied as she gave Mariko and Haruna a smile. "Let's go home." she added.

Mariko, who thinks that it's possibly true, decided to believe the girl, and walk home with her. Mariko walked in the middle, with one hand holding the girl's hand, and the other hand holding Haruna's hand. They walked hand in hand home.

After walking for just a moment, the girl told them, pointing at a house. It's still near the park. "That is my house. You can come and play." the girl said, shifting her view, looking at them.

Mariko nodded, "beautiful house." Mariko said, while Haruna only looked and observed quietly.

After walking for some time, finally they reached Mariko's house. The door was left open, so they didn't have to asked them to open the door. Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima were sitting down, waiting for them anxiously when they suddenly heard a voice saying "I'm home". Soon after they saw their mom, the girl released Mariko's hand, and let them hug each other. Well, that's what to be expected. But in fact is, that didn't happen. Mariko made her way to her mom and Haruna's mom slowly.

"I'm sorry, mom.. I'm sorry, auntie.." Mariko apologized as she bowed. "Because.. Because of me.." she stuttered, looking down.

Mariko's apologized made Haruna confused. As far as Haruna could recall, everything happened because of her, not Mariko. But Haruna decided to keep quiet and ask Mariko about it later.

"It's alright, Marichan. As long as you're fine." Ms. Shinoda said as she squatted down, lifted Mariko's head gently, trying to make Mariko look at her.

"But, Marichan, next time please tell if you're going anywhere." Ms. Kojima said to Mariko patting Mariko's head.

Mariko nodded, then looked behind to look at Haruna. Mariko gave Haruna a big smile as they're now in Mariko's house.

"Haruna-chan, don't you want to hug your mom?" asked Ms. Shinoda.

Haruna ran to her mom and hugged her mom. "I'm sorry" Haruna apologized.

"Oh right. Thank you, MaiMai" Ms. Shinoda thanked.

"Ah.. You don't have to thank me. I found them in the park near my house." she replied.

"That park? I see.. Thanks for helping us." Ms. Shinoda said. "Marichan, do you say thank you to that sister?" Ms. Shinoda asked Mariko.

Mariko lamely replied, "Forgot" as she smiled, then made her way to the girl.

"Thank you very much" Mariko said as she gave her a bow. "What is your name?" Mariko asked as she offered a handshake.

"I'm Oshima.. Mai Oshima." the girl said as she shook Mariko's hand.

Haruna, who saw Mariko did that, came closer to Mariko.

"Sorry for troubling. I'm Haruna Kojima. Nice to meet you" Haruna apologized as she also introduced herself to Mai.

"Good kids" Mai said as she patted their heads, as she walk towards Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima.

"Such a great cute kid you have, Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima." Mai praised.

Ms. Kojima could only laugh and reply with a smile, while Ms. Shinoda replied, "Thank you, MaiMai."

"Ano.. May I bring them to my house to play someday later? They're cute, and I'm planning to introduce them to my little sister" Mai asked for a permission.

Ms. Shinoda looked at Ms. Kojima. "Sure, Oshima-san", Ms. Kojima replied.

"Really? Thank you very much! I'll tell if I'm bringing them to my house" Mai happily replied, giving Ms. Shinoda and Ms. Kojima a bow.

"Anyway, I think I should be leaving now. Need to accompany my sister." Mai excused herself.

"Take care, MaiMai. Thank you for helping us." Ms. Shinoda thanked Mai again.

Mai made her way to Mariko and Haruna, squatted, and tell them "I'll bring you to my house next time, and introduce you to my sister. Wait for it. Bye-bye!"

"Good-bye, Oshima-san!" Mariko and Haruna said in unison, while waving their hands. Both of them looked at each other, they were also shocked that they could say the-exactly-the-same words. But they just smile.

End of flashback

"Do you miss Oshima-san?" Mariko asked Haruna.

Haruna doubted at what to reply.

"Let's pay her a visit today, since we're already here." Mariko suggested. "It's been a long time, and I miss her so much"

"Okay." Haruna simply replied.

"You looked so unhappy with my decision. I thought you should miss Ms. Oshima so much" Mariko replied.

"Ehh? Which Oshima?" Haruna asked.

"Which Oshima?" Mariko repeated teasing. "Which Oshima could you possibly miss? Of course that one" Mariko replied, didn't want to say her name.

"No.. I'm not.." Haruna replied slowly and softly..

Mariko only laughed. "I'm kidding. Cheer up.. SMILE.. S M I L E!" Mariko said.

Haruna smiled. "Let's get ready." as she suggested.

"Yes, you're right. It's not that early now." Mariko replied, as they started to get ready.

who is it?? Yuko??
So they got a memory of that place huh,
what happen to others 4??
why they didnt contact MariHaru??
