Nyaha~! Heyya, fellow wotas! This idea suddenly popped out of my mind BOOM OTL Maybe this fic will be just a few parts? I'm a busy person :rofl:
For now, here's the prologue. I'll update tomorrow nyaa~
Prologue:
Just another ordinary day today...perhaps? I wonder when something or someone might step into my life and make it a little more interesting. Nothing hardly comes at the tip of my desire. Maybe that someday someone might make my days brighter. Maybe that day will be today. I wish, duh.
I'm Matsui Rena. A 2nd year University Medical student. I live my uninteresting life here, in Nagoya. I have a pet dog at home. Her name is Sasshi— Wait! Who am I kidding? No one's gonna listen to my introduction. Hey, you! Yeah, you! The person who might be reading this! Do you have any idea on how I could make my life a little bit more interesting? Of course you can't answer me, duh.. I'm stupid at times. Sorry. Let's just hope for better.
"Oi, Rena-chan~" Looking at the owner of the voice, I didn't expect it to be Shinoda-sama.
"Ah. Konnichiwa, Shinoda-sama." Shinoda Mariko is my neighbor. She owns a big fashion company. She gives me a lot of clothes. The clothes she design are way out of my league but I wear them, anyway.
"Running late again, aren't we, Rena-chan?" She chuckles
"No. I got afternoon classes ONLY." Replying her with a boring tone should tick her off once in my life, for crying out loud.
"But it's 1 PM. Are you sure you hadn't sleep in?" She wiggles her eyebrows waaay too much. She's gotta stop.
"Nope. I'm pretty sure it's still 12:30. I think your watch is broken." An opening! I wave at her, signalling that I gotta go. Please don't call my name!
"Rena-chaaan!" Holy Mother of fuc— Why did she have to call me!
"Hai, Shinoda-sama?" I sometimes blame my mother for making me obedient. Goddammit I face palm myself too hard!
"I'll give you a lift to school! Come on~ I told your dad I'd take care of you." She points to her right, and I saw that damn big limousine. I'm going to school with that big black thing, again! Why do I have to be neighbors with a goddamn rich person?!
"Err... Are you sure it's okay?"
"It's fine! Come oooonnn!" She pushed me inside the car forcefully. Dammit, woman. This is kidnapping. Might as well accept the fact that I'm too blessed.

Finally arriving. "Alright. We're here, Rena-chan~"
"Thank you so much, Shinoda-sama." I attempted to take the handle of the door, but then her slightly longer hands caught mine just in time "Err, Shinoda-sama?"
"Expect the unexpected, Rena-chan." My eyebrows furrowed and slapped her hand making her flinch and hiss
" Ow! What'd you do that for?!"
"Did you expect that?"
"Whaa—? No!" She carefully nurses her hand like its her own child
"Then, you can't expect the unexpected now, hmm?" I sarcastically smile at her making her chuckle
"I meant, expect an uninvited guest to your life."
"Shinoda-sama, take your pills." I got out of the car and saw students looking at me suspiciously. Oh, boy.. I forgot I came here by giant black car!! Things just get better and better!

I entered my first class and saw a bunch of girls crowding a certain table. One of the popular kids again, eh? Choosing to ignore things like this, I rushed to find an open table and settled my things there.
"Rena-chan~" Just when I get into class, some rat intrudes my home! "Rena-chan! Rena-chaaan~" For some reason, why does she keep on shaking my shoulders and saying my name at the same time? Geez, this is annoying!
Losing my self-control, I abruptly shout at her "What?!"
"Geez, cranky pants." It's just Kumi and Airin in their usually composed selves.
"Oh, shoot. It's just you guys." Going back to my position, I stare out of the window.
"Soooo! I heard a new pastry shop opened down at the cafeteria! Let's go check it out later..?" Airin made me scoot over as she sat down next to me
"My seatmate's going to kill you if you sit there without permission." Not bothering to answer Kumi's question, I decided to sit properly..Okay, maybe not properly as you can see me slouching.
"Rena, you don't have a seatmate in this class!" Kumi chuckles
"...Too many classes. I can't count all my seatmates..." I yawned making Kumi's expression go to an 'are-you-serious-' face
"You give too less reactions, Rena!" Kumi plopped up my table and massaged her temple
"Ne, Rena-chan! Let's go to that cafe later, kay?" Airin got hold of my hands and gave me her puppy eyes no one could resist.. Well, except me. I don't plan to tell her since she'll try harder to make me not resist.
"Hmm.. Okay." I yawn again. Shoot, I am really tired from last nights studying.
" YAY! You hear that, Kuumin? Where's the bet!" What bet? Are they betting on me? I have no idea what they're talking about this time.
" Geez, fine, you win." Kumi pouted while digging her bag for her wallet
"What're you guys betting at?"
"We're betting on who can convince you first." Airin reached melon pan from her bag and gave it to me "My treat for today~"
"Score!" I quickly snatch the melon pan off her hand and started munching it.
Ring-Ring! Ring-Ring!
"Ahh, dammit! We gotta go, Rena! Mr.Baldy is on our first schedule! See ya later!" The two of them got up and ran out of the classroom. I tugged the left over melon pan deep into my bag and got back to my position on looking at the window. Same old daily routines. Lectures, I sleep. Breaks, I sleep. No one hardly ever tells me to open up except Kumi and Airin. But they seem to be tired already. Whatever..

Squinting my eyes to the bright cold light, the first things I see are some knuckle heads with smiling faces
"Rena-chan, you're finally awake!"
"You have no idea what we did to wake you up." Kumi shrugged and plopped down to my desk, once again.
"...What's my next schedule again?" Rubbing my eyes, I look for my mirror
"Geez! You're hopeless, Rena-chan! You got Anatomy next!" Airin face palmed herself making Kumi chuckle
"Ugh. I don't like Anatomy. I'm skipping." I usually skip classes but I don't see my teachers getting all scrambled about it
"You really hate Anatomy, huh? But why do you get good grades in it? Neh, you get good grades in all classes. Should I be surprised?"
"I don't know. I guess I study a lot at home. That's why I sleep in class." Yawning once again
"You shouldn't be surprise because all the energy Rena-chan takes up from is all in melon pan!" Airin raised her fist up the air like a bear
"I should eat melon pan more often!" Kumi snatched Airin's bag and tried to look for melon pan
"There's no more in there!" Airin whined and tried to take her bag away from Kumi
"Hey... Where were we supposed to go today again..?" There was a pause and then, suddenly
"Oooooooooooooohhh! Airin I told you to remind me! SDFGTEFGH@#$%^" And then, Kumi started to yell different things I couldn't understand so I simply titled my head
"Alright, alright! Let's go before more people come in!" Kumi landed on the floor and dragged the both of us in lightning speed to the newly opened cafe
"Are we too late, Sae-chan?" Kumi said in ragged breathing
"Ah! I saved a table for you and for your friends, Kuumin~"
"Awwe! I love you too, Sae-chan!" Kumi puckered up and tried to hug Sae but she smacked her instead
"Hello, Rena-chan~ Do you know me?"
"Ah. You are that suave person who girls dig.."
"Oh, stop it, Rena-chan~" Sae started blushing and look away
"Oi, Romeo! Stop flirting on Rena-chan or we'll call gorira to pick you up!" Airin got her phone ready
"Geez. Come on. Follow me to your table."

Scanning through the unusually long menu, I furrowed my eyebrows to the sight 'coco loco crazy frappe' I mean, who the heck names their sundae that? That's too long and too cliche'.
" Kya~! I'll take the Coco Loco Crazy Frappe!" Airin shouted at Sae with a gleeful tone making Sae giggle "Alright!"
"Geez, Airin. Were here to have lunch."
"Well, excuse me, Kuumin, this is a Desert Cafe!" Airin stuck out her tongue at Kumi making her blush a bit " Maybe you're right..."
"Actually, the Coco Loco Cra—"
"Seriously, you don't have to say the whole thing." Kumi wavered her hands at Sae making her laugh "Yeah, the name is kind of long, right?"
"It's not kind of! It is long!"
"Let Sae talk, Kuumin you meanie!"
"The Coco Loco is actually a desert that could make you stuffed. Unlike other normal and sensual deserts that could just make you fat, this one has vitamins!"
"Oh, cool. Like chocolate has vitamins."Kumi face desked herself. Kumi is really stubborn as I see it
"Rena-chan, look at Kumi! She's so mean to Sae-chan!"
"Yeah? She's mean to everyone, Airin." I patted Airin making Kumi frown
"Rena, which side are you on?!"
"None~" I raise my two arms up and flashed an innocent smile
Cling!
Kumi and Airin kept on arguing and Sae tried to stop them. I looked at the door which had the bell sound and saw a girl. She looked like an angel who everyone was waiting for. She looked too young to be a university student. She had a cat like smile on which I think that it makes her look like she's up to no good. She looked like a play girl. I wouldn't go too near her.
"Ah! Jurina-chan!" Sae gave up stopping the two knuckle heads and ran towards the girl
"Sae-chan, got a spare table?"
"Why don't you sit with your friends?"
"They're not my friends. Just because they call my name, chase me out, and sit with me doesn't mean they're my friends."
"Geez, you must be miserable, Jurina."
"Table. T-A-B-L-E. "
"You still want one? Look there!" Sae pointed to a bunch of girls who were inviting the girl to sit with them "Juri-chan! Sit with us! We got free food!"
"Free food? What do I look like? A lost puppy?!" She looked like she was about to explode. Simply, pretty mad.
"Yeah, you do. Look there! More!"
"Goddamit, Sae!! A Table!! Is this how you treat your customers?!?" Her voice was so loud that all the people in the cafe looked at her
"Hey, waiter! Give Jurina-sama a table!" The students started demanding "Ah, right, right. This way please." She led her to one of the vacant tables. Wow. This girl is something. She glances at my side and smiled making me blink. Is she crazy? No one smiles while they're mad.. Huh, shouldn't think too much.
"Hmm.. Matsui Jurina, eh? The super genius kid who is so so so popular."
"Well, she does have looks!"
"Matsui?" We have the same surname? Are we related or anything I know of?
"Oh, yeah. I doubt you guys know each other or are related." Kumi wavered her hands again
"Oh.." Kumi called for Sae again since they weren't finished taking orders

Class has started and I have no idea where to go. I really hate Anatomy since there are a lot of body parts shown. I shouldn't become a doctor if it's like that, right? But I can handle it and I want to take over the family business. Blood doesn't really bother me at all but gooey waters inside the body really do. I walk around the garden unconsciously and look up the sky. It's gonna rain soon...
*BAAM*
"Ittai yo!" I rub my head and my eyes. I look up to see the girl from earlier
"Ah gomen. I was spacing out and didn't notice you there.." I pick up my things that fell down. The girl started to help me and our hands touched but we both pulled away.
" It's okay, you know. You don't have to help." She grabbed my wrist causing me to look at her. She smiled and leaned closer
"But I want to... Is it okay..??"
"Um.. sure but uh.. Close proximate space is not my thing." She just stared into me, not avoiding contact at all with her cute cat smile. Wait, did I say cute?
"You look like someone I know."
"That's nice." She just kept staring and this was getting pretty awkward. Then, I felt water dripping down on me. At first I thought it was just a little drizzle but then it fell down harder and grew bigger. She broke the contact and looked up. It was raining. She grabbed all of my things and dragged me to shave.
"Thank you." I bow down to her despite hoe wet I am
"No problem. I'm sorry for getting you wet.. and getting your pressured." Pfft! Pressured? You think you're that cute! She got a blanket which wasn't wet and placed it over my head and gently wiping my hair
" You... might catch a cold." She smiled
"It's okay, really..." She stopped and gave me the blanket
"I'm Matsui Jurina. And you're Kido-chan!"
"K-Kido-chan?"
"Yes. You look like her..."
"No, no. I'm Rena. Matsui Rena.."
"Kido-chan has the same surname as me?!"
"What?!" I looked at her with frustrated eyes. Is she a kid or something? Is this what you call super genius?!
She smiled and took a look at her watch "Rena-chan..."
"Err.. yeah?"
"I like you."
"EH?" Does she know what she's saying?!

Hey, there! I'm back with an update as promised! Wow! Thanks really for the reviews! I never expected that anyone would really read this despite posting it here. Well, everyone ships WMatsui! I mean, who couldn't?! I'll rip his/her soul out! Kidding :rofl: Really, guys, thanks for the reviews! I appreciate the support! Chapter 1: Steal My Heart?
Yesterday was such a weird day for me. I mean, what kind of person would you be if you would confess to someone you just met?! That would make you lose the chances of getting a chance! Oh my, that was pretty reluctant but... I don't care! Soooo weird! She was definitely still A KID. She doesn't know what love is. She has a lot to learn. She's not ready. And I bet that was just a simple display of admiration. The both of us have a lot to learn about love! Gosh... Why am I even ranting about this kid...
Flashback...
"I like you."
"EH?" Does she know what she's saying?! What does she mean about this??? "Are you serious? I just met you. Are you crazy?"
"No.. I just hate feelings that stay within me. I want to spread it out quickly and avoid the feeling to squirm inside." She answered with a smile
"Really," I sighed and patted her shoulder "You must be misunderstanding this on admiration." I smile at her to show her the true meaning, dammit!
"Waaa~ You really look like Kido-chan! You're making me want to hug you!" She lunges forward and hugs me with the cat smile face of hers. Shoot, I shouldn't smile! Its only making it worse!
"Um... See? It's only admiration." I couldn't just push her off, so I patted her head. Well, I could maybe think of her as a... err.. sister?
She suddenly pulls away but she keeps firm hold on my shoulders that it hurts. "It's not. I really like you! I do! So much..." She looks down to the floor and her eyes look melancholic
"Look at me." I pull her chin up and smile again. Shoot, I really should stop smiling at her! But how? She seems so cute that I wouldn't want a frown on her face "This is 'like'. I'm not sure on what you really mean about it but I'd love it if you try to discover what it truly means." There it is again. Her cat like smile.
"Alright. I'll try to find the meaning. And I won't give up on you! I will make sure you will fall in love with me!" Sheesh, this kid makes me want to mentally face palm myself harder!
"Fall in love? You're not even in love with me!"
"I'll make you fall in love with me first and that's when you'll beg for me when I leave." I furrow my eyebrows to the statement
"So, you're planning on leaving?" I tilt my head. This kid is actually smart... in a way.
"Change 'when' to 'if', then. Besides, who wouldn't fall for my charms?"
"Ha. That would be me, then." I put on an arrogant smile which makes her scoff arrogantly too. She then, chuckles. She chuckles offensively! How rude. Now, I'm really sure I won't fall for her!
"It's okay. You will fall for me. Believe me." There it is again. Her smile. I just want to whack it out from her face!! #$%^
"Fine. I'll bet on it!" I can't take it anymore! I will win against this kid! This little twerp!
"Sure!" She leans closer and stares into my eyes. She does so many intimidating things! "I'll take your heart if I win... forever." She smiles
"And I'll take your life if I win. A life of slavery! Ha!" I chuckle at her
"Deal sealed." She moves away and straightens her clothes and her hair. She gives me another smile and she stretches out her arm to me "I'll be looking forward to being your friend, Kido-chan!" I take her hand still curious about this Kido-chan
"Okay. Please take care of me, Ju-ri-na." She gives me one last smile and turns away. She looked at the sky before dashing off. Making sure the rain stopped. That's it. I will so win this bet!

As usual, another day of school. I feel even more drowsier than usual! This is all because of that Jurina kid! She's making things worse! My life just became a little bit interesting though... Only a little bit. Passing by the big mansion next to my house, I see Shinoda-sama again. Soz, here's another nuisance in my life. She waves at me and smiles.
"Goodmorning, Rena-chan! Up earlier than usual, eh?" She takes a look at her wrist watch and her grin became wider "7:10 AM! A new record for you!"
"So, you've been recording my wake up calls?" My eyes drooped as I peered farther at her
"I guess you could say that!" She grins and raised her newspaper in the air
"Oh my gosh, Shinoda-sama, you stalk me??" I act as if shocked to see her reaction
"Baka," She says ready to throw her paper at me "I'm your neighbor! I see you everyday so that isn't considered as stalking! Not one bit!" I giggled making her pout. Yeah, feel stupid sometimes, Shinoda-sama!
"Well, thank you for the energizer, Shinoda-sama—"
"What energizer?! Oh my gosh, you're so mean, Rena-chan!" She pouts even harder making me take a picture of her. *Click* "Rena-chan!!"
"Haha! Revenge is too sweet, Shinoda-sama!" I wave at her and run for it before she chases me and throws coffee at me. "Get back here, Rena-chan!!!"

Finally reaching school, I yawn again. I should really stop cramming late at night and start making school worth it somehow. As I walk through the halls, I saw a bunch of girls appear in front of me. I stopped and scanned their face. What the heck are they up to? What are they just standing there for? Can't they speak?
"Um.. Excuse me, you're blocking my way." I take off my earphones and step back a little
"Oh my gosh—Jurina-sama is right! She does look like Kido-chan!" One of the girls says and they fan girl over it. I raise one of my eyebrow and wonder. Did I hear that right?... Jurina!!!
" Uhh... Can I ask something?" The girls quickly face back to me and smiled
"Of course!"
"Who is Kido-chan, exactly?" I unconsciously scratch my head a little. And I noticed that, YES! Its actually becoming a habit now.
"You don't know her? She is an idol. She dances and sing so well and her acting is amaaaaazing! You should watch one of her movies, Rena-chan!" One of the girls say with a gleeful tone as she clasped her hands together
"Ahh.. Okay, I will. If I have free time... Wait, how do you know my name?" Jurina! How could my name spread to her fans already?! Stupid kid is such a hassle!
"Oh, Jurina-sama told us about you! She said that you really looked like Kido-sama and you look so cute! And it's definitely true! " They squeal and spazz again
"Oh. Uh.. Thank you, then." I blush a little and look away
"Oh my gosh, can I touch you?! You are such a cutie pie!" Before I could reply, they started touching me everywhere. One of them was pulling my hair "Ow!" Seems like they didn't hear me but then, a slightly taller person got in front of me and protected me. Thank you, whoever you are!
"Stop spazzing all over MY Kido-chan! She's mine, not yours!" Oh gosh, I don't belong to anyone! Who is this person? You're the same with them! Short hair?..Waaiiiit... Jurina!!! I'm gonna kill this person! "Don't hurt her or I'll be the one who'll hurt you. Got it?"
"H-Hai! Were sorry, Jurina-sama!" I can suddenly feel her smirk "Say sorry to Rena-chan, not me." She steps aside, allowing the girls to speak to me
"Were so sorry, Rena-chan! Please forgive us..." Awwe they look like cute puppies. Unlike the big scrambly dog on the side!
"It's okay." They bow down and walk away. I can hear them mumbling about Jurina and something with 'scary'. I turn to look at Jurina and she smiles at me.
"O-ha-you~, Rena-chan!" She moves closer but every step she takes, I move backwards. I glare at her causing her to chuckle "Why are you stepping backwards? Let me touch you, Kido-chan~"
"Stop calling me Kido-chan!" I saw an opening and ran away from her. I ran as fast as I could but I'm never good at sports! I'm better off with studies! I look behind me to see if she was there, oh and she was! Running in the speed of light! I decided to pace up but then, I saw another bunch of girls and the blocked my way causing me to fall to the ground. Whaaat? Now, I have haters?! Stupid Jurina!!
"Hahaha! So, this is so called 'Kido-chan'? How uncool!" A girl pointed at me on the floor and all the other girls laughed but then I heard a clack. I look up and saw Jurina looking down on the girl who pointed at me. I heard the girls saying "Oh my gosh, did she just punch senpai?!"
"Don't you dare hurt Rena-chan." She points at her accusingly and she rested her foot on her stomach causing the girl to growl in pain "If you're against her, then you are against me!" She kicks her and she faces me. She knelt and smiled, offering me her hand "Are you okay?" I nod to her in response. I'm shocked that she would go all the way to punching someone to protect me. "Let's go." She pulls me up with her and then suddenly, I'm on her back. This happens too fast my head's about to explode! And the next thing I knew, I was in the Infirmary with her treating my wound.

There was an awkward silence between us. Only the sound of the wind blowing and the brushing of the cotton was the source of sound. I look at her and she seems so focused and skillful in this. That's right. I forgot she's a Medical student like me! Stupid Rena... I breathed out a heavy sigh and she smiled
"It doesn't hurt anywhere?"
"...Nope." She chuckles and gets a bandage. She swiftly took off the cover but gently rested it on my knee
"Who dares to destroy such flawless, creamy skin..." She caresses my legs making me squirm to the coolness of her hands. She stands up and gets a glass of water and hands it to me "Drink up. You must be tired from all the running." I take the glass and drink like its the only water left on Earth. I got to admit, I was pretty damn thirsty!
"Thank you but what about you?" She flashed her cat like smile with a peace sign
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine as long as you are. I have much more high resistance than you, of course."
"I-I see..." She sits beside me and brushed of my fringe flawlessly "I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you. I'll make up for it somehow.." She looks shamefacedly on my bandaged knee and frowned "I'm so sorry." Geez, she does have a heart for an arrogant person.
"It's okay. I'm perfectly fine. Time can heal pain, after all." I pat her back making her smile at me
"Yeah, but I will still repay you someday." I smile a reassuring one at her to tell her everything is fine
"So, is this a part of your bet? A tactic? A strategy or something?" She giggles and takes hold of my hand making me blush. Warmth quickly shot up all over my body.
"Something like that. How'd you know?" She plays with her legs, swinging them side to side, up and down making me smile unconsciously.
"It's pretty obvious, you know." She smiles again
"But my heart means what I'm doing." I'm not sure what that meant but I don't want to think about it that much. I glance at the wall clock and saw it was already 7:57 AM. I'm gonna be late for Neurology class!

What matters is that I got to know Jurina a little more and it appears that if she cares for someone, she cares for her a lot. She might have potential in stealing my heart.

Chapter 2: So Called Date
Scorching bright sun finally shone upon me. I look up and squint my eyes to the light, getting my eyes adjusted to the source of energy. Cool blasts of wind blows past the window then to me, making my hair fly. There’s really something wrong with the atmosphere. The sun is scorching hot while the wind always makes an entrance… Just like a certain kid I know.
Ring-Ring! Ring-Ring!
The bell then rang. I quickly pack up my things and straighten my hair. Just as I was about to stand up and dash away from the classroom, I see the person who I least want to see right now. Noisy fan girls squeal to her arrival but she ignored them all. She just wanted to see a certain person. She walks right past them and she paused at my table.
“Hey.” She greeted me with her cat-like smile. Ugh. I hate how that smile somehow turns me on!
“..Bye.” I walk as fast as I could away from her but still no use. No matter how many methods I use in avoiding her, she just doesn’t know how to stop trying to get my attention. She runs to me and pats my shoulder.
“Wait, up!” I look back at her with an expressionless face then she asks bluntly “Did I do something wrong??” She innocently tilts her head like a puppy. An ignorant puppy!
“Nope.” I shake off her hand making her turn to poker face
“Then, how can I help?” …Did she just look like a real puppy there? With the wagging tail and the drool all over the face?
“Well,” Hmm.. Well, playing nice is a change game. This is competition so I’ll do everything to win! “How about you get off my tracks and not let me see your face for the meantime, hmm?” I flash a fake smile making her scoff. That arrogant scoff, again!
“So, I see you’re abiding the real rules of the game of sportsmanship. Alright, if you take it that way, I will do it everything to win!” She smirks and takes my hand.
“Hey, what’re you doing?! Let me go!” She drags me through the hallways making people look at us as if we were outsiders.
“I’m going to do what it takes to make you like me! Sorry, I’m just following the REAL rules.” She walks faster but her grip on me loosens a bit. She really does have a heart. Of course, she does! She’s human, duhh!

I’ve been calling her for a couple of times already but still she refuses to answer and keeps walking ahead, still holding that grip on my hand
“Where the heck in Sakae’s name are you taking me, Jurina?!” She stops and finally looks back! But now, with a big stupid grin on her face “What’re you smiling for..?” I blush. She has a beautiful smile. I admit it.
“You said it! You finally said it!” She jumps up and down, dragging my hand along with her. I hiss in pain but she just ignored it.
“Said what?! And stop hurting me!” I finally managed to break free and she stops jumping up and down. She must have realized she hurt me. She takes my hand again but this time gently.
“I’m sorry. I got carried away with the happiness.” She blushes and scratches her cheek.
“What did I do to make you so happy??” I loosen down a bit the anger boiling inside.
“I’m happy you called my name. I like how my name sounds coming from your voice.” She smile and proceeds walking. But this time, she slows down her pace so she could walk side by side with me. Who knew I only needed to call her name.
“C’mon, Rena-chan! Let’s go watch some movies!” She eagerly started dragging me around again.
First, we went to the cinema. Jurina started picking which movie to watch. She really looked like a confused puppy which looks awfully cute and bubbly that you just want to squeeze her to death! In the end, we decided to watch a horror movie. In the middle of the movie, she suddenly nudged me.
“Ne, Rena-chan, I have a question.” Even though it’s so dark, I swear she had that cat-like smile on her face!
“What?” I continued eating and watching the movie but I’m listening.
“Do I get those cliché-ish scenes where I put my arm around you like this,” My eyes widened and I looked at her but she already slung her arm around my neck “ and try to kiss you like—“ I found myself in a scene where she was leaning on me close as hell! I could feel her hot breathing and could tell she was nervous.
“Pfftt…” She suddenly giggled and pulled away from me. In truth, I was just waiting for her to make a move. In the end, she missed that chance. I’m never giving her a chance again, geez!
After watching movies, she took me to a nearby amusement park. We rode the roller coaster which was so tall that I could break my neck if I keep on staring at it. She actually threw up after we rode the roller coaster and every time she saw greasy food like nachos, she would always say “I need to go to the bathroom!!” We rode a lot of rides and played on some booths. It was all her treat. Was she that eager to steal my heart? … We got inside the horror booth and it wasn’t impressing at all. Jurina was so clingy whenever a gust of wind flew by but in truth, I was the one who kept on screaming whenever a ghost would come out. For the grand finale, which was on 8 PM already, was the show about some fairy tale. There were fireworks featured after the show and then, she walked me home just like that. But the awkward thing was she held my hands throughout the stroll.

Finally arriving home, Jurina took a good look around the neighbourhood and she was so fascinated how it was so bright and kind of noisy. She got to see Shinoda-sama’s mansion but she wasn’t that expressive. Then, we finally reached the door step of my house.
“So, do I also get those cliché movie scenes where the protagonist gets a kiss?” She let go of my hand and took a step forward.
“Nope. You’re nowhere from getting a kiss from me.” I said jokingly causing her to pout. Awwe now she really looks like a puppy.
“Ehhh fine. But, I have one last question before I go…”
“Hmm okay. “
“Do you hate me or something?” She looks away and scratches her cheek
“Uh why the sudden question?” I tilt my head looking innocent so she’d answer me
“Well, you seem to not show too much expression while you’re with me. And you won’t laugh! Hearing your laugh is one of the things I like most in living, you know…” She blushes. Oh my gosh what a cheesy line. Kids are so cheesy!!
“… I don’t hate you or anything.” I cup her cheek and make her look at me “ I’m just trying to adjust to you, okay?” She bit her lower lip
“Hmm… I’ll take that reason, then… for now.” She smirks and takes a step backward “Well, I should be heading home now. Take care of yourself and please don’t cram too much. Your beautiful face deserves to be taken care well. We wouldn’t want to call you another name instead of Kido-chan now, won’t we?” I shook my head in response and she smiled
“Goodnight, Rena-chan. Dream of me because I dream of you every night.” What? She dreams of me all night? There is definitely something wrong with this kid.
She finally turns away and starts walking home. Wait… Let’s give this a thought. She’s worked hard to make you fall at least a little in love with her. Like, .. like her a bit. She deserves a reward!
“Wait, Jurina!” She quickly looks at me and smiles
“Yes, Rena-chan?” I plopped down the stairs and ran to her, quickly kissed her cheek making her blush to a deep shade of red.
“Thank you for today. I really appreciate it.” I try to smile the best smile I have... just to at least make her happy.
“N-No p-problem, R-R-Rena-chan!” She stutters making me giggle. I wave at her and she smiled again and continued walking with a 1000 wattgrin on her face. Geez, I just remembered… I skipped half of school today. Isn’t that rebellious..? Wait… It is. I skipped a test! Curse you, Jurina!!
Okay, maybe it wasn't too long like the others...? But I managed xD Lol I said that 2 times already xD

Chapter 3: Perseverance Can Be A Positive Thing
For the past few weeks, wait no...Actually, for a month now, Jurina has been my tail! It's getting so annoying! But the worst part is, I want to get her to stop but I don't know how to tell her at all! Gaaaahh! I miss Airin and Kuumin so much that I could just whack Jurina off my tracks! But how am I supposed to do that?! I don't have the courage to do that! She's been so kind to me lately that I can't somehow bring myself to hurt her in any way... Wait, Rena. You're missing something here! This is competition and Jurina is just being nice so she could win. So, go tell her straight in the face and don't be such a coward!

I walk through the hallways of the school going to the library. I want to ease things off for a bit. No Jurina, no studies, no worries at all. I grab a book and sit down on one of the empty chairs with the empty tables. After a while of ultimate peace and fantasies, I feel a cold huff of wind on the tip of my ear. Once I turned to look who the suspect was, I saw Jurina smiling and bending to look at me.
"Hello, Rena-chan~" She lunges forward to hug me but my hand stopped her just in time, blocking her face.
"Nuh-uh, Jurina. I actually forgot that this is a competition. So, I'm not holding back just because you're a little c—" As I realized what I was saying, I quickly covered my mouth with my lips. Dammit, mouth! You always blow my cover! Stupid!
"I'm a little what, Rena-chan? A little cute??" She smirked and sat beside me
"Wh-What? Who s-said you're c-c-cute? Pfft! Th-That's not t-t-t-true!" I look side by side, blushing. Hope she'll forget that subject! Pleaaase!
"Hmmm... Stutter, stutter, stutter." She moves her chair forward and pulls something out from her bag. Seems like a little pink box that looks so shiny. Must be expensive. I wonder what's inside...
"Ne, Jurina, what's that? What's inside?" She giggles and opens the box in front of me. She flashed trademark smile and revealed fully the contents of the box. It was a necklace that had a heart shape as the emphasis. On the middle of the heart, there was a little diamond that looked like it was real. Basically, it looked so wonderful. Lucky girl who gets that!
"You like it? I'm actually giving this to someone I like..or love?" She raises it more in front of me and smirked. Is she plotting something? And woaah wait. Love? Whats up with this kid. So, the game is over?
"Ah, I see..." She gently returns the necklace back to the case and closed it as she smiled. She kept it safe and turned to me again.
"Ne, Rena-chan, Kido-chan released a new album! Try listening to it!" To be honest, this kid is so noisy! I need to get time for my own. She does not want me angry. Especially when I'm on my period. Sorry, Jurina. This is for your own sake.
"Hey, Jurina?" She stops blabbing and obediently looks at me
"Yes, Rena-chan?"
"Can you uhh..." Say it, Rena! Or no Melon Pan for a week! Heck, no!! "err... Can you stay away from me for a while?" Her expression changes to a scary one and she asks seriously.
"Why, exactly?" She stands up and turns her chair around to face me. She suddenly sits properly like a real girl.
"I... You've been on my tracks lately. And I... I need space." The marbled floor suddenly became really interesting to my eyes. She kept staring at me with those intense eyes and she didn't even reply to my statement. There is really something wrong with her.
"So, you're saying I've become such a nuisance that you're afraid to tell me that directly?" She suddenly speaks and with that statement making my eyes widen!
"No! It's not that! I just need space, you know.." She scoffs but smiles at me after. That sweet, irresistible smile but it seems fake. A sad smile. Why does that hurt me...?
"I see. Alright, I'll give you space. Besides, you can just avoid me, you know? I don't have any special relationship with you after all. So, don't bother worrying about me." There it is. That smile, again. You said it yourself, didn't you? You hate having feelings that squirm inside asking for an exit.
"Eh Jurina...Are you sure it's fine?" I pat her shoulder and her smile just grew wider but the sadness in her eyes deeper. You know, if she doesn't like the idea, then she should tell me. If she's that persistent then, I will stop the idea. But she isn't even making a move.
"Of course, it's fine! Rena-chan misses her friends and I trust you enough." She stated the last few words softly that I couldn't hear it. But I'm sure she's not okay with this... Whatever. If she's holding it in then, she can handle it, right?
"Well, I better get going, then. I have a packed schedule today. See ya when you want to see me." She stood up and dashed out of the library. That's weird. She always begs for a hug whenever she leaves and when I check my phone when I get to the classroom, there's always a message from her saying she misses me, already. *Sigh* I don't need to care for this kid. I decided this so, no regrets. Keep moving forward...But what if I can't....

When I woke up after class. I found the same old two knuckle heads from before. Ahh, I miss these two even though they are so annoying at times.
"Rena-chan~" Airin lunged at me causing her to land on top of me on the chairs.
"Hyper as always, Airin." She just continues on snuggling deeper in my chest. Kuumin smiles at me and throws Melon Pan at my direction
"Yo. Been a month since we hanged. Wanna go somewhere today?..If you're not out with that Jurina, that is." Kuumin stuck her tongue out to me but we just giggled in the end. Airin suddenly voiced out
"Ne, Rena-chan, you've been with her everyday! What's going on between you two?" I suddenly blush at the question but I'm confident and managed.
"We're just friends, Airin."
"Yeah, you have a chance, Airin!" Kuumi teased Airin. I already know that Airi has feelings for me, but sad to say, I don't feel the same way at all. They started arguing again but I'm sure everyone's used to it by now. I took out my phone and saw a message from Jurina.

Feeling that aura when someone is staring at you, I look at the door and saw her smiling at me. I was about to go and talk to her but she signaled it was okay and she dashed away. Geez. This is so stressful.

It's been a week since Jurina hadn't made contact with me. No text, no call, no wave, no look. Every lunch break, I would spare my time to find her but I just can't. I wonder where she disappears to at lunch time. She used to come to pick me up and have lunch with me but now, what happened? Don't tell me she's taking what I said to her seriously! Ah, shoot! Why does she have to make things hard for me? Now, I have to find her and apologize. Stupid sensitive kid!
Running through the halls, I look out the window. I saw a girl under the shade of the tree with her glasses, reading a book silently. She looks so peaceful until I squint my eyes and saw Jurina. It was her. I dashed to where she was and stopped in front of her with ragged and loud breathing. She silently looks at me.
"Rena-chan—" Before she could continue her sentence, I collapsed to the ground but she caught me just in time. I'm so clumsy and reckless. I was never one to be good at sports since I only eat meat a few times. She puts me down gently and cupped my cheeks.
"Rena-chan, what's wrong with you? Are you okay?? Someone hurt you?!" There she is again, panicking over small things.
"No...I'm okay, Jurina. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I haven't seen you since that incident..." I closed my eyes, imagining that cat smile of hers.
"Geez, Rena-chan. I told you not to worry about me. I've caused you a lot of trouble so please, have this." I open my eyes and saw her getting the necklace from the small velvet box. She smiled. A genuine smile finally reached up her face. She puts on the necklace on me slowly and fixed my hair after.
"That necklace was really meant for you so please cherish it." What? I thought it was for her love... Wait, what?
"Thank you, Jurina.." I blush and look firmly into her eyes. No sign of sadness at all. She smiles warmly and leans into me. I thought she was going to do something bad but she just kissed my forehead and stroke my hair.
"I'm sorry for leaving you even for such a short time. Must have been forever for you. " she winks causing me to blush harder "Don't worry. I'll be more persistent from now on and I will surely make you fall for me." I smiled and she smiled. There's the Jurina that I know.

Waking up to the sound of 'beep', I rub my eyes and check my wall clock. What? It's still 10 o'clock in the morning! And it's a Sunday! Who the heck would call me at this hour? Disturbing my beauty sleep. I sit up and check my phone. What the— Jurina?! This kid! Can't she be like other normal kids?! Sleeping all day long?! Geez, she can't be helped at all.

I look around to find her but she isn't there. I jog to the swings but still no sign of her. Could she have fooled me? Geez. Kids these days. I turn back around to go home but then, I heard a cute sneeze which echoed. I followed where the sound came from and it came from inside the dome thingy. I crawl inside and I see Jurina. All curled up on her scarf sleeping cutely. I decided to take my phone out and take a picture of it. Sorry, no one can resist this! *Click*
"Yes!"
"Mmhh...Rena-chan..." I look at Jurina since she called my name but she was still asleep. Maybe she's dreaming. She's dreaming about me? Why dream about me when you can see me personally! I shook her gently but she instead of waking up, she fell into my arms and that caused her to wake up.
"Kyaaa!" She screamed but I covered her mouth
"Jurina, shh!" Her eyes were widened and she looked like a real puppy. She tried to mumble something so I let her go. She started panting and panting but she still looked like a puppy. "You pimp, what are you doing inside this place??" She flashed a peace sign and smiled
"It was so cold so I warmed up here." She patted the space beside her, gesturing me to sit with her so I scooted to the spot where she patted. She then, grabbed my hand and took it with her own inside her sweater's pocket.
"I see.. So, why'd you call me here for? What did you want to say?" She tightened her hold on my hand and she huffed.
"Umm... Let's not talk about that, yet. I just want to enjoy your company, first." Curios on what was so important she was about to say, I went with the flow. I rested my head against her shoulder and she rested her head on mine. I could feel her cat smile reign upon me.
"This is nice. You never strike first." She said with a joking tone and giggled making me smile. Why did I smile? Don't fall for her tricks, Rena!
"I'm just trying to win this game." I looked at her but she frowned and straightened her head back to its normal position so I did it too. "What's wrong?"
"I think this is too urgent. I really have to tell you this because it'll hurt too much if it stays inside." She bit her lip and looked straight into my eyes. As if she knew everything.
"G-Go ahead..." She took a deep breath and stared into me again.
"I... I think— No! It's... I know I lose this game. I just can't do it anymore, Rena." She lets go of my hand and gently placed it on my own lap. What does she mean by she can't do it anymore? Does that mean she's giving up on me? I feel happy but... I feel kind of sad too.
"What do you mean...???"
"You've won. I forfeit the game. It's too hard for me... for me to play with your feelings and not falling into you. It's too hard, Rena. it's too hard." She hugs her knees and scoots away from me and continued "I.. I love you. I love you too much that I can't afford for you to get hurt. I might do something bad. So, please. I forfeit the game." I remain speechless. What will happen now? My life suddenly becomes interesting but now it's ending? Jurina, stop joking! You falling in love first wasn't in the agreements.
"Jurina," I scoot over to her side and wrap her around my arms "I'm not sure if that was a confession or not but—"
"It was!" She suddenly raises her head and looks at me. Her eyes are full of hope and darkness. Just what happened to this kid when she was younger?
"If you want me, then you should make me fall for you. Don't give up yet but don't force me to love you..Okay?" She just stared at me with deep eyes and bit her lips
"No. I won't force you. I will make you fall for me without you knowing it. I'll wait for you, Rena-chan. Someday, I'll be declaring you MINE." She smirks and crawls out of the dome. She's softened up a bit but I won't give up too.

A few days have passed since the incident when Jurina suddenly confessed. She has become gentler and more caring to me than before. She'd walk me home even though her house was on the opposite path and treat me to lunch everyday. The only reward she wanted was at least a kiss on the cheek or the forehead. I have never kissed her on the lips and it's so distracting! The way she licks her lips is so... so hot. Did I just say hot? Rena, don't fall into temptation!!
"Rena-chan!" I turn around and see Jurina but she had company. The bad thing was whenever we had lunch, there were always these fans trying to get her attention. And I don't seem to like that. If she's not doing anything about it then, I'm eating without her.
"Jurina.." I smiled at her and she sat beside me
"So, what do you want to eat today? I brought extra money with me today so slightly more food for you~" She smiled and looked at my chest. I touch my chest and noticed the necklace she gave me. "I'm glad you wear that everyday. It means you're giving me more chances."
"Kind of. Well, maybe you could say that." When she was about to say something, some popular kids butted into our conversation
"He~Hey, Jurina!" The slightly taller girl among the 5 raised her hand for a high five which Jurina responded
"Oh, hey! What's up, guys? Been so long seeing you!" She looked so happy talking with them. So, I decided to leave her on a happy moment for today. I just stared at her talking to her friends for the past 10 minutes but then my stomach started rumbling. I called her name a few times but she didn't listen to me. So, if she's with her friends she can't let me be recognized? Then, I'm sure there's 0% chance I'm falling for her. I stood up and ran to the garden. I sat down, leaning on the tree while eating my melon pan. It's the only food I've got and I don't want to see that face of hers. What a traitor. I put my earphones on and started listening to music while wondering about my family and closed my eyes. A few moments after, I felt someone calling my name. I opened my eyes and saw her in front of me. I took off my earphones and just stared at her.
"Rena-chan, what's wrong? Why did you leave?" She tilted her head to the side acting all innocent. Yeah? Like that would work on me!
"I felt out of place and I was hungry." I look away from her and crossed my arms.
"Why didn't you tell me, then?" She smiled and cupped my cheek. Geez, she acts all sweet when were alone but when she's with her friends she can't even introduce me?! I've had enough! I took her hand away from my cheek and slapped her face
"I CALLED YOUR NAME A THOUSAND TIMES BUT HECK, YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME AT ALL AND THEN YOU GO ACT ALL INNOCENT AND ASK ME WHAT'S WRONG?! IF THIS KEEPS UP THEN, YOU HAVE 0% CHANCE ON ME JURINA!" I panted after yelling at her and she was just speechless
"I... I'm sorry. I-I didn't notice when you called me and they were talking about—" I suddenly interrupt her. I'm boiling mad in here!
"They were talking about girls, is that it? Geez, Jurina, I'm tired of this! You say you love me but there you go talking about other girls and their assets, what kind of person are you?! Are you playing with my feelings?! This is hard for me, you know! At least be—" Before I knew it, she shut me up. In a weird way. I felt a warm, soft yet wet thing on my lips and then noticed she was kissing me. I stopped squirming and she broke the kiss. She held my shoulders together and she still managed to flash a genuine smile.
"I'm really sorry, Rena-chan. I won't act like that in front of you again. I promise. From now on, I will be more considerate with you and introduce you to them, alright? I'm sorry." She pulled me in for a hug which in the end, I hugged her back.
"Stupid. Don't ever do that again..." I glance to the side and saw her cheek red from the slap. I pull away from her and cupped her injured cheek. "I'm sorry for the slap. It must've hurt." She smiled again
"It's okay. I needed to get that to know what I did was wrong." I blush from her statement and she giggled "Rena-chan, I'll say it again. I love you and I won't give up on you. I will someday, declare Matsui Rena, officially MINE." I smile at her
"Good luck with that, Jurina." She laid down the grassy parts and pulled me with her. Then, she whispered to my ear "I'll always be waiting."

Sup, guys! I'm back~ So, I saw a looooot of WMatsui pics that just brought more inspiration into me! The update for now will be not Rena's point of view but Jurina's point of view. Chapter 5: Love, Love, Love
Today is the Sports Festival of our school. I get out of my house and dashed away all prepared. But first things first, I must go meet the person who brings life into me. Aargh! I just hope she'll cheer for me when I play. I could just imagine her screaming my name to the extent. Now, that would make me goal a million times! But I hope her beauty won't distract me while I play. It always radiates and stands out among the others when I look at her. Is this what you call 'love'?

"Rena-chan~!!" I saw her walking away from her house with melon pan on her hands. She turns to see me and I lunged forward, wrapping her in a hug.
"Good morning, Jurina." The corners of her lips curl into a smile and it looked extremely cute and distracting! I just want to kiss her all day... if air wasn't necessary that is.
"Good morning, Rena-chan. How was your sleep?" I let her go but I didn't want to. I grabbed her hand and intertwined it with mine as we started walking to the bus station.
"It was fine." She replied lamely. She kept on eating her melon pan but she still looked cute anyway. I tightened my hold on her and pulled her closer to me as I saw 2 guys checking her out.
"I dreamed about you. You finally fell in love with me." I smiled at her and she blushed a deep shade of red. She huffed and seemed like she was cold. I let go of her hand and searched for my scarf in my satchel. I found it and wrapped it around her neck. "It's kind of cold today but I got prepared. It'll eventually get hotter later." I grabbed her hand and we started walking again.
"Un. It rained earlier, too. I'm sure it'll get hot." I giggle and she furrowed her eyebrows "What're you laughing at?"
"Nothing. I'm just excited and happy you're with me today. Will you cheer for me while I play football?" She smiled and looked ahead
"Yeah. I'll cheer for you but that doesn't mean you win the game." She laughs after saying her statement. Her laugh is like Angel's singing into my ears. I wish it lasted but then, I saw a truck about to pass by and pass over the puddle of water. I grabbed Rena and switched her to my side and I ended up getting splashed by water. Good thing it was only a little.
"Are you okay, Rena-chan? Did you get wet?" She just looked at me with wide eyes but then she started panicking
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, Jurina! I should've be more careful! I shouldn't have laughed—" I cupped her cheek and smiled
"It's okay, really. You should laugh all the time. It makes me so happy hearing your laugh.." She slapped my shoulder
"Baka!" She raised her hand threatened to slap me again but I backed away playfully and grinned
"Easy, there!" She smiled and took my hand. She led me to a near by cafe and brought me to the comfort room. She locked the door and stared at me with her arms crossed. Sensitive and dark Rena-chan is cute too. I like it. "What..?"
"Take your shirt off." My eyes widened and I almost slipped
"Whaaaaat?" She face palmed her self and took my satchel
"I meant, take your shirt off so we can put it in the dryer...Unless, you want me to throw you in there fully." She takes a step forward causing me to flinch
"Yikes! Alright! Geez.." I quickly take my jacket and pull my shirt off which revealed my body. This is embarrassing in a way. She looked at my body and froze. I glanced at her face and she was blushing. "Ehehe! You like staring at my body, eh, Rena-chan?" She looked at me and blushed
"N-No!" She took my shirt and my jacket and put them in the dryer. After 5 minutes which felt like forever, it was finally done. I quickly put them on and straightened myself up.
"Come on. Let's go. The bus is gonna leave soon." She checked her wrist watch and her eyes widened.
"Holy crap! Let's go, now!" I nod and dragged her to the bus station. Once we got out tickets, we went inside the bus to find seats but there weren't any vacant. I led her to a corner near the door and pinned her against the wall. "Wh-What're y-y-y-you doing..??" I smiled at her and leaned to her ear.
"This way, no one can grab your butt or something. And I don't want anyone pushing you." I whisper to her and I felt her shiver. "It's okay. I don't mean any bad intentions." She nodded and I straightened my posture, never leaving my arms off the wall. All through the ride, I got pushed a lot but I tried my best to not let Rena-chan get hurt. When we finally arrived, I saw her sleeping soundly so I got her on my back and ran for our lives. Once we got out of the station, she woke up.

"Jurina..." I put her down and she rubbed her eyes cutely. I just want to keep her on my back no matter how heavy she was! Actually, she wasn't heavy at all.. She should eat more meat.
"Seems like you were cramming again, last night." I giggled and she smiled at me with her eyes still closed
"I had to study for the exams after the festival..." I ruffled her hair and she let out a soft mew but it was loud enough to make everyone near us hear it. They looked at Rena as if she were a limited edition plushie so I dragged her away to the school.
When we arrived the school, a lot of fans were squirming and carrying banners that said 'Jurina-sama, you can do it!' Geez. I appreciate their work but it looks like Rena-chan isn't so happy about this. I won't get carried away by fans. My attention is all on Rena-chan. I intertwined our hands and she looked at me. As I was about to say something, an announcement was made.
"Calling Matsui Jurina to go to the track field right now. Again, calling Matsui Jurina to go to the track field right now." Rena let go of my hand and started walking away. I grabbed her wrist and made her turn to me.
"I'll walk you to the locker and you'll go change first, okay?" She smiled and wavered her other hand
"I'll be fine. Just go. I'll see you later, okay?" I cupped her cheek and kissed her forehead
"Mmhh. See you later, Rena-chan." She walks away smiling while the fans make a path for her to the building.
---------- o 3o -----------
I jog to the center of the field and saw my coach who looked like he was about to explode.
"Hey, what's up, coach?" He looked at me and his face brightened up a bit
"Thank the heavens, Jurina, you're here!" He shakes my shoulders violently before I could hold him still
"Woah! Woah! What's wrong, coach? What happened??" He let go off me and coughed
"Takayanagi Akane is injured! I want you on the field on the 2nd half as her replacement!" My eyes widened. I mean, is he crazy?! This isn't in the plan!
"What?! I can't be on the field on the 2nd half! This wasn't in the plan and those tough girls are going to come out in the 1st half! We have to score more on the 1st half!" He slapped my shoulder and raised a fist on the air
"We can do this! If we work together and you as our star player, nothing will stop us from reaching our goal!!" The team responded and did the team hymn as they jumped up and down. Well, it can't be helped. I'll ace this game for the school... and for Rena-chan, of course!
---------- o 3o -----------
I sit on the bench all sweaty with my team jacket on. I watch them as they play and were not getting anywhere at all! At least it's a draw for now. I look at Rena-chan who was sitting beside me organizing some drinks for the players. I smile as she sparkles in the rays of the sun. Goddammit, why is she so hot?! And the sun is making it worse!! Unconsciously, I slid my hand to her waist and pull her close to me. I stare at her as she blushes.
"Rena-chan, I'm going to win this game for you. That's a promise." She giggles and kisses my nose. Never expected that! I feel that she's starting to fall for me!
"I'm sure you will. Just don't underestimate your opponents. Even if you won't win, I will still be proud of you." I lick her nose and she flinched "Hey!" She frowned and was about to throw a water bottle at me
"I was just playing!" I snatch the water bottle from her and she crossed her arms " No matter what, I will really win this for you... and for Kido-chan..?" She tilted her head, still frowning
"I consider you guys the same!" She chuckled and sat straight
"I was kidding. Just do your best, okay?" I nodded at her and she got back to organizing the drinks
The whistle sounded and the 1st half ended. They started subbing people and I got up from the bench ready to play. But I rushed to Rena-chan and gave her my jacket. I told her to wear it and she did. When the 2nd half started, the fans started to wild and crazy shouting my name. I can really do this!
I reached the middle field and readied myself then the whistle signaled the 2nd half officially started. They pass the ball to me and I run to reach the goal. One of the big girls ran to me and tried to steal the ball, but I spun around her and instead of me getting hit by her body, she hit her own team mate. I pass the ball to one of the girls at the back and she tried to hit the goal but it hit the post instead. The ball flew to my direction and I hit it with my head. It managed to pass the goalee and hit the goal. The fans scream wild. I look at Rena's direction and her eyes were sparkling. Yes! More inspiration!

Minutes passed and it's on to 5-5. They called for a time out and my leg hurts like hell. I wobble to the bench where Rena was. As I was about to run to her, I fell down. I felt a pair of warm hands help me and I saw her.
"Are you okay, Jurina?! Do you want to substitute—" I hushed her by putting my finger on her lips. I smiled at her as she started to tear up
"I'm okay. I did say I will win this for you. I won't give up easily." She nodded and helped me get up then to sit down. They treated my injury and I screamed causing the fans to look at me with worried faces. Rena was crying while she was holding my hand. I don't want to make her cry. I'm unforgivable.
"Rena-chan, d-don't cry.. I-I'm okay.." Coach bent and looked at me
"You okay, Jurina? Do you want to substitute?" I shook my head and stood up.
"I'm fine, coach. I can win this." He grinned at me and ruffled my hair
"Alrighty, then! Let's do this!!" I looked at Rena and she stared at me with pleasing eyes
"I'll be fine, Rena-chan. Just wish me luck." I ran to the field but I stopped and turned back "Rena-chan!!" She looked at me with a surprise expression "I love you!" I flashed her my cat smile and ran to my place. The game started and there were only 2 minutes left. I got the ball and ran for the goal. I have to bear the pain. I look behind and saw one of the tough and big girls. I decided to run faster despite the pain. I look to my sides, and they were surrounding me. I pass the ball to my team mate and they ran for her. I collapsed on the field, panting very hard. They start to call my name but I just couldn't stand up anymore. But I heard an angelic voice, I glance at the bleachers and saw Rena full of tears and screaming my name out. I smirked and stood up. I ran for the ball which was stolen from my team mate. The girl spun with the ball, but lucky for me I had sharp eyes and fast legs. I stole the ball and ran more faster than the wind to the goal. They were counting down to 5...
I ran as fast as I could

I nudged the girls on my side causing them to fall down

I saw an opening and got ready to kick on which direction
2...
I kicked with full force and steady direction

I collapsed and saw that the ball got goal!
"GOAL!!!!!!!!" They jumped and rejoiced. They picked me up and tossed me up and down shouting my name. I look for her. My inspiration. My strength. After all, she stands out in my eyes, I saw her breaking down in tears of joy. I jumped down and ran to her side, wrapping her in my arms as she curls up to me with gentle sobs.
"Shh.. It's okay, now. We've won." I move my hand up and down on her back, trying to soothe her. The others were too busy rejoicing for the victory that I could enjoy some time with Rena-chan.
"I-I'm too proud of you..!" She looked up to me and smiled even though her face was so full of sweat.
"My reward." Without warning, I dove in for a kiss which she didn't reject at all. She kissed back instead. That was the longest kiss we had ever had and we aren't even in 'that' relationship yet. But I swear, I'm ready to risk anything for her. I will love her with everything I've got. I will protect her as my own. I will wait for her... until she will really love me for me, as I love her for being her and not being like my Kido-chan who is no longer my idol. Because now, Rena-chan is my idol and my one and only priority.

Hey, guys! I'm back. So sorry for the long wait OTL I promised myself to study hard for the exams and update on the semester break. Oh, well, what'd ya know?! Chapter 6: Suddenly, It's Magic
I'm not sure when it all started. At the beginning, I knew for sure I wasn't going to fall for her. But I lost my guard. I shouldn't have underestimated her. It's like, whenever I look deeply into her eyes... I see something new. I see that she has the guts and the desires to make me happy. But I'm still not so sure... I wish I was sure though. If I was sure, I could do amazing things. I could either make her happy or break her heart. I hope to be optimistic because she cast a spell on me. I know those things don't exist, but when I'm with her... Suddenly, it's magic.
I'm not sure of my feelings for her. If I get deeper into her and all of the sudden, my feelings aren't what she feels too, that would lead to chaos. Maybe I shouldn't hang out with her today... But that'll make her sad. I wouldn't want to see her sad... Wait... This is for my own good, though. Stay calm, Rena.
"Rena-chan~~~" Turning behind myself, I saw her dashing up to me. Oh, Kami-sama, why now?
"J-Jurina.." She lunged at me and wrapped me in her arms. "Juri, everyone's watching..!"
"No~ I'm a Koala~" I started struggling from her hug but she held me tight. Then, I saw a beautiful woman walk up to us. She looks like a model... and she really really looks familiar...
"Hello." The woman smiles at me and tilts her head
"Err.. Hello... " Jurina looked up to the woman and smiled
"Kojiharu-senpai!" She let go of me and bowed down.
"No need to be formal, Jurina-chan." She quickly straightened her back and grabbed my arm
"Ittai yo!" The woman who seems to be called 'KojiHaru' giggled
"Rena-chan, this is Kojima Haruna! She's 2 years our senpai."
"Nice to meet you, Kojima-san." Kojima-san smiled and bowed
"Nice to meet you too, Rena-chan. I've heard a lot of you from Jurina-chan." I look at Jurina and she was all flustered.
"Really, Juri, Really?"
"Hey! I couldn't help it I needed to express my feelings to someone else, you know.." She crossed her arms and looked away
"Well, anyway, Rena-chan, I was hoping if you would let Jurina-chan here participate as a waiter in the Danso Cafe for the opening celebration." Kojima-san gave me a flyer and it seemed okay, maybe.. But wait... Why is she asking permission from me??
"I think it would be fine but.. why exactly are you asking me and not Jurina?" Just what did this kid tell Kojima-san?!
"Well, Jurina-chan told me you'd get jealous if girls attack her too much." I glare at Jurina and she raised her hands up
"I'm innocent! I know you would get jealous sooner!" Okay, maybe she has a point... Heck, no! What am I thinking?!
"... Okay. I'll let you off the hook for now." I switched my attention to Kojima-san but I swear I saw Jurina sigh in relief "So, when will this happen?"
"It would be starting in about an hour from now, actually~" What? Doesn't Jurina have to prepare now?! Sheesh, this girl's a complete airhead!
"Um.. Jurina, I think you should go get ready now." As I glanced at Jurina, she was staring at me with puppy eyes
"You're really going to let me join, Rena-chan??"
"Err.. y-yeah.. Stop staring at me like that!" She lunged at me and started kissing me all over the place "Juri, stop it! Stop it! I thought u were a Koala not a Dog!!"
"She's a Koalog!" Kojima-san started playing around with us
"Um, Kojima-san, seriously, you aren't helping at all!"
"Oops, sorry!" She pulled Jurina away from me and dragged her to the cafe.

As I walk towards the shop with the sign "Cafe Danso" on it, freaking fangirls started squealing. I look behind myself and noticed that the line was so long! Oh, sheesh, how am I supposed to get in? I guess I'll have to be patient like other people.
"Matsui-san!" A slightly high-pitched voice called for my last name. I turned to the person and to my surprise, it was an... ikemen? Aren't guys supposed to be in campus grounds...?
"Err...me?" The ikemen smiled and nodded. He kinda looks like a girl... wait, a girl?
"Yes, you. I'm Watanabe Yuuma or Watanabe Mayu!" My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. How can a person have two names at the same time?!
"Umm... are you supposed to be Half dude- half girl or something?" I scratch my jaw and Yuuma-- Wait, Mayu-- Wait, no! Ikemen! I'll go with Ikemen! Ikemen then, scratched his hair
"No. Fortunately, I'm a girl, Matsui-san." No wonder he-- no, she had a high pitched voice!
"Oh! Crap, I'm so sorry!" I bow down a couple of times but she got hold of my wrist causing me to stop. Oh, come on! How can a girl have too much muscle to hold me down?!
"It's okay, Matsui-san. I am dressing as a guy so it's normal you would mistake as a dude."
"Oh, right.. Ehehe.." Ohhhh, crap. Rena, you are so LAME.
"Well, anyway, Kojima-sama told me to bring you inside the Cafe ASAP." She smiled and readied herself to escort me.
"Um okay." I slung my arm around hers and it felt somewhat... cute. But awkward, though. Jurina would just hold my hand.. wish she could do something like this sometimes..

Walking inside the Cafe, I hear classical music surrounding the whole place. Girls everywhere and seems like there were only like 5-10 boys here. Oh gosh, this place is amazing! Now, where's Jurina...
"Yuuma-kun, come here immediately!" Mayu bowed down to me and ran to a beautiful girl seated down.
"Is there anything you need, Kashiwagi-sama?" The girl smiled pulled Mayu gently to her height and cupped her cheek. What am I seeing... I shouldn't be watching this! But.. I want to know what'll happen next. God, Rena...
"K-Kashiwagi-sama, wh-what are you doing?" Mayu blushed a deep shade of red and the girl giggled
"Watanabe Yuuma is so handsome. But I still prefer cheeky Watanabe Mayu." The girl kissed Mayu square on the lips. Good thing it was just a peck because they already caused a lot of commotion.
"Rena-sama." An average guy voice called out to me. I turned to my side and saw a familiar face.
"A-Airin?!" I flinched as the guy giggled
"Rena-sama, I'll escort you to your table. I am Furukawa Airi as you know." Airin took my hand and pulled the chair, inviting me to sit. She pushed the chair gently and gave me a menu "Pick whatever you like, Rena-sama. Kojima-sama said its on the house for you."
"O-Okay.." I blushed but... Airin looks sexy as a guy. Crap, Airin, why do you have to make me so doki doki?!
"Just call for me if you're done." She walked away leaving me all alone. Suddenly, a group of girls started to squeal. I glanced at their table and saw a guy carrying a girl who slid bridal-style. Once I glanced at his face, our eyes met. And oh, did those eyes look familiar. Jurina being so flirtatious all the time. Deciding to ignore her, I was about to call Airi but another guy showed up instead.
"Furukawa-san seems to be busy with other guests, so please attend to me this time." The guy grinned " I'm Maeda Atsushi. Also known as Maeda Atsuko." WAAITTT, so why do we have an actress in this university?! And why is she in a Danso Cafe?!
"Okay, Maeda-san. Mind if I ask why you're in a Danso Cafe?" I raised my eyebrow and she just chuckled
"I'm here for training. I'm doing another gender-bender drama you see.." She smiled took out her notepad and pen "Mind If I ask for your name? Just to be sure you're the real deal." Huh? Real deal? Do I look like an action figure or something?
"Matsui Rena."
"Oh? I know your sister. Matsui Rina." Sister? I don't have a sister.
"I don't have a sister, Maeda-san." She tilted her head and looked at me head to toe
"No. She said so herself. She has a twin sister name Matsui Rena who lives in Nagoya."
"I'm sorry, Maeda-san but I really don't know what you're talking about." She sighed but then she smiled
"I see. I won't force you to remember, then." What twin sister? I have no siblings at all! Geez, I knew it! I knew there was something my parents were hiding from me!
"So, what are your orders, Matsui-sama?" I pointed out a hot chocolate with marshmallows, and chocolate sprinkles all over. "Anything else? Snacks?" I shook my head in declination and she nodded. "Okay. Your order will be up in a bit. Please excuse me, Matsui-sama." She bowed and excused herself. Hmm... I just have a fishy feeling about this. Do I really have a twin? Why didn't my parents tell me? Are they trying to keep me away from this twin? Are they--
"Hello, beautiful." Crap. Who the heck is interrupting my deep thoughts?! I look above myself and saw Jurina smiling at me with the hot chocolate. "Here is your drink, beautiful."
"Thank you but you know, you're the only ikemen here who doesn't call me with 'sama'." I push her away from me causing her to fall down. She massaged her temple as she mumbles with hurt. I didn't mean to push her that hard! I stood up trying to help her
"I'm so sorry, Ju--"
"Hey, why did you push Jun-sama?! You can't do that!" A bunch of girls stood up walking up to me. Geez, I didn't mean it.
"Look, I didn't m--" One of the girls slapped me. Crap, why did she do that?!
"Who told you you could talk, huh? Filthy trash!" I saw Airi, Maeda-san, and Watanabe-san rushing to us. Suddenly, I felt a hand tap my shoulder. The second I know, the girl who kissed Watanabe-san was defending me.
"Hey, you girls obviously saw that that push wasn't supposed to make Matsui Juri-- Jun here fall down."
"Yeah, but she still pushed Jun-sama!" The girls didn't want to lose. Oh, crap. What have I done... Suddenly, Jurina got up and rubbed her butt. lol
"Kashiwagi-sama, I'll take care of this." The girl nodded and backed away. Jurina cupped my cheek in front of everybody. "Our first incident, I did say if someone is against you, they're against me. I'll always be on your side. Remember, the game is not yet over." She smirked and turned around. "Look, girls. The person who pushed me just now is Matsui Rena. She can do whatever she wants with me. Why? Because I love her and she's soon to be mine and you're going to regret bullying her. Done." The girls were about to hate something but then, Jurina wavered her hands and the girls followed its movement. Then, she snapped her fingers then they got back to their seats.
"H-How did u do that...??" Jurina turned around and snapped her fingers on me. Crap. I feel blank. Deep. What's going on?
"Someday, you will love me with all your heart. And that's magic." She smiled and kissed my forehead. Hm, maybe I will love her someday. When suddenly, it's magic.
Some people made an entrance lol~ Everyone is really curious with who Kido-chan is. I guess you'll find out in the next chapter or the chapter after the next one. Peace out, guys! :deco:

I'll have you know... With the little space that I had, I fell off my chair, spazzed, twitched, probably died about four times in less than two minutes, almost cried, and nearly killed myself my scratching myself in the neck in excitement from this chapter. Yes, I'm a crazy fangirl. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll heal by morning. LOL. XD
But oh my god, I so needed this at 2am in the morning. As contradictory as it sounds, I have an essay due tomorrow in the late morning, and I needed this [fangirl] energy I got from this. :nervous (What's best about this essay is that we can write about anyone we want in a certain event in their life. Guess who I chose? *winkwink* ;) )
I really expected someone in the Danso team to convince Rena to danso too. (And then Jurina can proceed to die about her obviously sexy fangirl-worthy appearance. Or act like she did when she did her danso in AKBINGO... but twice as sweet. Either is fine. Mehehe... :hehehe: )
Secondly, ACCHAN! YAY! SHRKJNSDKJFNKJE *SPAZZ* God. The moment I read Maeda, and then the name Atsushi. Oh dear lord, I was this close to heaven. :mon angel: And then I read Maeda Atsuko which helped me calm down a bit (not really). Then I thought about Ikemen!Maeda Ami, and I wondered if she was part of this too, and I continued to die happily. (What is my life force now, God?! HOW MANY YEARS DO I HAVE LEFT? :scared: )

To all of you guys who left a review and to those who just read, thank you for the support also! I hope I made some silent readers lurk out of their tombs lol. Since I was kinda bored, I wrote this chapter which was supposed to be posted tomorrow. Maybe this chapter will satisfy your curiosity on who Matsui Rina is.
Chapter 7: Complications
"Rina-chan!! No!!" A young girl struggled so hard from her parents' grasp, looking at her sister with teary eyes
"Rena, behave! Rina will be back!" Her father slapped her so hard that she finally got out from their hold and onto the floor.
Her mother gasped in shock and rushed to her child "What's wrong with you?! She's just a kid!" Her mother cupped her cheek and hugged her crying child
Her sister, on the other hand, was glaring furiously at her father. "How dare you slap Rena-chan!!" She broke free from her Uncle's hands and jumped on her own father. When they landed on the floor, she scratched her father's eye. It was such a hard scratch that it left a scar.
Her father groaned in pain as he covered his eye. "Rena-chan, are you okay?" Her sister ran to the young girl and wiped her tears
"Rina-chan, don't leave me here with that man!" The young girl pointed to her father and cried much harder
"Shh.. Don't cry, Rena-chan. Mom is here to protect you in my place. Don't worry, okay?" Her sister smiled at her
"B-But, Rina-chan--" The young girl was cut off by her sister's finger
"Smile for me and I'll come back someday." Her sister got up and rushed to her uncle's hands. Then, they left for good.

Krrriiiiiiiiiiinng!
"Kyaa!" Glancing almost everywhere in the room, my heart pained. It was all just a dream. What happened? Just who is this Matsui Rina? I don't remember her anywhere in my life at all! Is this all just a bluff? I wish it is! This whole thing is freaking me out! I should really ask my parents what the heck is going on! Jeez. I wish no one ever told me I had a sister!
Deciding to leave that issue for now, I got up and opened the curtains. Well, it looks like there's no sign of rain today at all. Since I don't have anything to do now, I'm guessing... today is lazy day! Yaaay! I rushed down the stairs and suddenly, I hear shuffling sounds. It's 10 in the morning, who would expect a murderer in their house?! Geez! I grab an umbrella near by and silently went down stairs. As my feet reach down the carpet covered floor, I jump inside the kitchen.
"Who goes there?!" My eyes widen as I see an unexpected visitor.. Okay, maybe unexpected visitors.
"Oh my, Rena-chan!"
"Mom?!"
"Rena-chan!"
"Mom?!!"
"Rena--"
"Zzt! Stop, stop, stop it!" How could this be?! Why is mom here?! Why does she look so... old...
"Rena-chan, oh my! You've grown so well!" She hugs me and then, she caresses every part of my face "Your lips, oh! Like your father's!" Crap. That man. Where the heck is he? And who the heck is that guy!
"Mom," She keeps on mumbling stuff I don't know "Mom!" And she still doesn't stop "Mom!!" I shake her shoulders and she just stares at me
"...Oh, sorry, dear. What is it?" I look around the kitchen and landed my eyes on the guy she was with. He looks too young for Mom...
"Where's... father..?" Looking back into her eyes, she looked down in shame
"I... He died, already, Rena-chan." My eyes widened to the awful news. Why didn't I know about this?!
"WHAT?!" Suddenly, I accidentally raised my voice. She shivers and squirmed. "WHY--... Why didn't you tell me..?"
"H-He... He said so himself... To not tell you anything. He didn't want you to see him weak. From all those bad and wrong things he did to you." I scoffed. Hah! That'll teach him to not mess with me.
"Psh! I'm actually glad he died, instead. If he were alive right now, who knows what he would've done to the both of us!" She snaps her head up and a frown formed on her face
"Rena-chan! I do not tolerate lying in the Matsui family--"
"Pfft! Yeah? Who said I was in the Matsui family? I'd change my last name back to yours." She suddenly slaps my face and memories of my dream last night flashed through my mind. What's happening...?
"Don't talk like that to me!!" Anger suddenly boils in me but I can't speak up to her. But She can't tell me what to do, anymore. She hasn't cared for me in my whole childhood. She was useless. Just a mere pawn. I don't even know if she was really my real Mother! Why didn't she stop that old man from shipping me away to Nagoya?! "Please, Rena... Try to be a good example to your brother."
"Brother..? What are you talking about??" I flinched and almost tripped backwards. First, it was twin now, it's brother?! She looks at the guy behind him and nods. The guy stepped up to me and reached out his hand.
"It's nice to finally meet you, Oneechan." I look at his hand in frustration. I never remembered having a brother at all!
"O-Oneechan..?" He nods and smirked at me.
"You're Matsui Rena, 21 yrs. old. I am Matsui Ryoichi, 15 yrs. old. I am your younger brother." He took my hand and shook it. I change my attention to my mother and she nodded. Shifting slowly to this 'Ryoichi' guy, I pulled my hand back leaving his hanging in the air. He chuckled
"Mom, I don't remember having a younger brother at all!"
"After you were shipped away, we decided to have a baby since it was lonely in the house."
"Then, why didn't you tell me I had a brother a long time ago?!"
"Well, every time I tried to contact you, Ryo tried to snatch the phone because he wanted to hear your voice." I looked at Ryo with a grin on his face. He reminds me of Jurina.
"Hmm... Well, then. It's good to hear that I have a brother...?" The grin on his face just couldn't get any larger. He suddenly hugged me and started saying thank you.
"Okay, Rena-chan, go ready yourself because someone is coming!"
"What? What are you planning, mom?"
"Just go get ready!"
"How am I supposed to get ready when this pimp won't let me go?!"
"Ryo, let go of your Oneechan!" He let go of me and smiled. Sheesh, what a weird family.

I rushed down stairs and heard a familiar, girly voice.. Wait. Is that my voice? But how can that be...?
"Mom!" I enter the living room and my eyes widened to the sudden visitor. "...Eh?"
"Rena-chan, whats wrong?" My penetrating gaze never leaving on the girl.
"Wha.. Wh-Why is there a-another m-me..?!" I point at her and she just chuckled. She stood up and approached me as I back away every step she takes forward.
"Rena-chan, perhaps we never spoke of her again but the possibility of you forgetting about your sister never crossed my mind."
"Sister?? I have no sister, mom!" I exclaimed never leaving my attention on this doppelganger! I kept on stepping back but to this horror, I reached the wall. She faced me and frowned.
"Rena-chan, don't be afraid--" The doppelganger turned back to mom
"I'll handle this, mom." Mom?! She's my mommy not hers!!!
She turned back to me and moved closer. She probably saw my scared expression so she smiled "Rena-chan, you forgot about me? How sad." Pft! She just answered her won question!
"Who are you?"
"I'm Matsui Rina. 21 yrs. old. Matsui Rena's twin sister." She took my hand and held it with hers "Smile for me, Rena-chan." As the warmth of her hand shot up to my body, memories of my youth flashed in my mind. She was the one in my dream. How could I forget? She protected me from all of that man's harsh doings.
"Rina-chan..?" My tears started to well up and she pulled me in for a hug. There, my tears streamed out. "I'm sorry!"
"It's okay, Rena-chan." She patted my back and kissed my forehead. Am I too lucky to have her as a sister?
"Yuck." On the other hand, Ryo had a disgusted expression on his face
"Ryo, let them have their time!" Mom scolded Ryo
"So, now you remember, Rena-chan?" She broke the hug and smiled. Why couldn't I smile like that..?
"Yes. I never expected you to come back..Gomen." She ruffled my hair and dragged me to sit with her
"Ahh! Rina-chan, why don't you give Rena-chan her gift?" Mom clasped her hands and giggled
"Oh, right!" She pulled out something from her bag and handed it to me "It's a scholarship in one of the famous universities in Akihabara."
"Akihabara..? Isn't that where you live, Mom?"
"Yes! You can finally reside in peace with us, Rena-chan!"
"So, do you agree, Rena-chan?" Just the thought of becoming one with my family once again was a wonderful dream! I have dreamed this will come true!
"Of course! I'm going to accept this!"
"Then, that's it! You pack your things and were leaving the day after tomorrow~"
"Wait, Rina-chan, how did you get this scholarship?"
"Didn't you know, Oneechan?" Ryo suddenly spoke up
"Know what?"
"Rina-neechan is an actress and a singer! She goes by the name Kido!"
"WHAAT?!" Their eyes widened as I exclaimed.
"Yup! I went into Music school, you see." The thought of 'kido' made me think about Jurina.. What will happen if I move away to Akihabara? What about Jurina? All this time, she wasted it all.. And I'm going to this scholarship.
Suddenly, Rina-chan's phone rang. "Ah! I'm going to take this!" She rushed outside leaving me blank. I quickly got my phone and sent Jurina a message.
To: Jurina =w=
Subject: ...
Jurina, we need to talk.
5 PM in the Park.
You have to be there.

I hope she understands my decision... But, I can't imagine what life could be without Jurina anymore. I guess I just got used to it and indulged in it. Who couldn't resist a wonderful life where there's just this one person who can make you smile. Would it be better if I stay with my family or here with Jurina? Why am I even having a problem with this? Jurina isn't that important to me... But why can't I help feeling incomplete with the thought of her out of my life? I need to sort things out. Jurina, I'm sorry.

Matsui Ryoichi is the first son of Matsui Ryo. Rena was never meant to know she had a brother nor a twin sister. Matsui Ryo meant for Rena to suffer in loneliness.

I'm back with another update! I'm just so excited for this update because I've been planning this for a loooong time! But it may be a little sad and a little short. It's actually focused on feelings but please do understand it. I'm trying not to cry OTL Try to enjoy this one..
Chapter 8: River of Dreams
Arriving at the park, I look up the sky. Oh, I wish she would just understand my situation. Though, I'm not saying that I'm worried of myself, I'm worried about her. I know she can take care of herself but, I wonder if she can live without me for I fear myself I can't live without her beside me. If so her love for me is real, I hope she would understand my decision. I never really admit to it but I've grown to love this kid. The way she suddenly wraps me around her when I'm cold, the way she takes my hand to assure me I'm safe, the way she tells me to smile when I'm depressed, and the way she asks me to look up the stars when I'm lonely and without her. I will surely miss her voice that lulls me to sleep.
"Rena-chan!" Looking back, I saw her rushing up to me while panting. She smiles at me but I refuse to look at those innocent eyes that don't know what's going on at all. "I'm here! What's wrong? Did something happen to you, Rena-chan?"
I looked down shamefacedly but she took my hand and placed it on to her chest. Not sure what was going on, I looked at her with curious eyes as I felt her heart beat crazily.
"My heart wants to help you." Her cheesy lines always make me laugh. She smiled and wrapped her arms around me. "All it took was a laugh." She let out an exhausted sigh. She pulled away from the hug and looked into my eyes deeply as if she could see what's wrong
"I have good yet bad news..." She looked down as she takes my hands once again. "I got a theater scholarship from the states, Rena-chan and I..."
And you're what?! You're going to go..? Wait... this might be for the better. Going on separate ways.
"I.. I decided I'm not going." My eyes almost popped out of it's sockets.
"But.. Why? This is a big opportunity! Acting is your dream, Jurina!!"
"I know it is but... I can't afford to leave you alone, Rena-chan!"
Crap. This is turning more worst than the other nightmare! How am I supposed to tell her, now...? Why can't she make this more easier.
"You should just go take this opportunity, Jurina! I can't stand you wasting your time on me!"
"I'm not wasting my time on you! I give value to our complicated relationship!"
Her grip on my hand suddenly becomes tighter and tighter in every word she says.
"Jurina!! Just drop it! Go follow your dreams!"
Not standing it anymore, I slapped her face
"Wake up, Jurina!! This is your dream were talking about! I know someday you would just stop loving me and regret passing this opportunity!"
Her eyes widen to the slap as small drops of tears slowly stream down her face. Guilt showers me all over.
"I... I just don't want to lose you... Dream? My real dream is to make you mine, Rena-chan." She lets go of my hand and looks into my eyes "Why can't you understand that?"
I back away from her as I realize all the sadness and hardships I brought to her life. She takes a step forward and reaches for my shoulders
"Give me one reason why I have to accept this scholarship." It's like seriousness invaded her whole mind.
"I.. Because I'm leaving for Akihabara." Her eyes widen and she covers her mouth. I knew I shouldn't have told her. She backs away and me as a stubborn person, I follow her.
"Jurina, please understand my situation. I.. I could finally be with my family there and at the same time, study in my dream school--" I kept on mumbling and I couldn't stop until I felt her finger shut me up.
"It's okay, Rena-chan. It's okay. There's no need to explain." She wrapped me in her arms making me feel safe and sound. Her scent reaching up to my nose.
"But.. I'm sorry... Jurina, I'm sorry." Tears started streaming in a fast pace as they hit her shoulders.
"It hurts... My heart hurts but... Nothing else can make me happy than seeing you happy as well."
That just made my heart flutter... flutter in pain. I know she's bearing the pain inside just to make me happy.
"Jurina, please. Why can't you open up to me more?"
"I don't want to be weak in front of you."
"Jurina--"
"No more please. I understand, okay? No one can change your decision. I just want you to know that you changed my plans. The first time I saw you, I felt overwhelmed. My friends say you were dangerous but you know what? I took every risk to be with you. I wanted to look good in front of you but I guess I failed. I.. before you leave, I just want to say, I love you. I love you so much that it hurts too much! Too much.."
I could feel her hot tears melt on my head.
"I... I love you too, Jurina."
She smiled and patted my back
"I knew from the start you do." She broke the hug and smiled at me.
"I guess... this is goodbye?"
"Not goodbye at all. Someday, when my dreams finally come true, I'll come back for you." She grinned and wiped the tears off my face "If you feel lonely, just look up the sky and remember were still below the same sky and we will surely meet again." I nodded at her and she silently whispered something.
She started walking away but I pulled her wrist making her turn around. Her eyes widened as she felt my lips on her own. But she smiled when I pulled back.
"I love you, Jurina!!" I shouted with all my might as she giggled and ruffled my hair. "The river of dreams is waiting for you. Go on." I smiled and ran away but then, I stopped and shouted...
"Watashi kara saisho ni ippo saki wo arukou!!"
The first step... I'll take it ahead of you.
I could feel her smiling from afar and then, I'm assured she will be fine without me.
"Yume ga kanattara, mukae ni kuru yo..."
When my dreams finally come true, I’ll come back for you…
As the next day passed by, I was ready to go. Saying goodbye to all my friends as they shed tears of happiness and sadness at the same time, I'm sure myself that she is out there smiling for me with love and support.

Chapter 9: Serendipity
3 YEARS LATER...
Scent of drugs and medicines surround the whole place as Matsui Rina, Japan's hottest idol, makes her way to a certain room. She barges in a patient's room and all the people inside looks at her with shocked faces.
"Matsui Rena? Matsui Rena, paging! Where is Matsui--Ummf!" Matsui Rena covered her sister's mouth and dragged her outside.
As Rena let go of her, she immediately slapped Rina's shoulder playfully "What are you doing here?! You can't just randomly shout at a hospital! Or even in a patient's room! Especially, when a student, meaning ME, is having a practical test!!" Rina giggled as she looked around and saw people shift their gazes on them
"Ha! You say, "No Shouting" and there you are giving me another lecture." Rina patted Rena's shoulder as she blushes and looks around
"Wh-whatever.. What are you doing here, anyway? An idol can't just walk around places not even wearing a disguise." Rena looked at her sister from head to toe
"Hey, I'm wearing a disguise here! See?" She puts on her sun glasses and makes a thumbs up "There~ Uh-huh? Right?" She wiggles her eyebrows up and down
"Thats just sunglasses, Rina-chan." Rina's shoulder drooped down as her sister crosses her arms
"Oh, whatever! Anyway, let's go~" Rina abruptly pulled Rena along with her
"Hey, where are we going?! My practical test!!"
"Oops, no shouting in the hospital~"
"I hate my life..." Rena mentally face-palmed herself

Waves crashed as the scorching hot sun shines the whole resort. Beach balls and sand castles everywhere to be seen but still, Matsui Rena is still not happy.
"So, you made me skip my practical test just to go to a stupid resort?! Are you kidding me?!" Rena face-palmed herself and felt like she could kill everyone in this place
"Oh, come on, Rena-chan. You need to loosen up a bit~" Rina ruffles Rena's hair as she glares at her and shrugs her hand away
"Yeah, Oneechan. You've been caught up with all your studies and work that you forget your family all the time." Ryo appeared with a bunch of bags in his hands
"2 more years, Ryo! And I'm going to graduate! Geez, can't you guys wait?!" Rena felt like she wants to roll over the sand
"Psh, yeah, whatever. I have a photo shoot until 9 PM so, Rena-chan, here's the key card to your room, and here's yours Ryo." Rina tosses the cards to them and walks away with her bag "See ya tomorrow, maybe~"
"So, Oneechan, here's your bag." Rena takes her bag as Ryo smiles at her "I'm gonna go take a dip. Wanna come with?" Rena shook her head and realized, she was really tired after all. "Okay. See ya, then."
As soon as Rena reached her room, she quickly dropped her bags and jumped on the inviting bed. She grabbed the remote control and at least turned the television on to avoid scary thoughts creep her mind. In less than 5 minutes, Rena was asleep.
"We're here in New Tokyo International Airport reporting! International pop idol, Matsui Jurina, also known as 'Denki' has arrived from New York City! She will be staying in one of the 5 star hotels in Akihabara City. This young 18 year old has just got into the Showbiz career but her fans are rapidly increasing. She has just released a new album named 'Energy' as her nickname currently displays. Her latest movie is a big hit all over the world and she has come back to continue her life long career here, in Japan. Since that's all that there is to report, we will be ending our broadcast-- Oh, wait! There she is! Let's try to talk to her! Uhm, *Excuse me, Matsui Jurina..?*"
" *Ah, yes?* "
" *Err.. umm.. do you..* Uh, no! That's not that way... *Do you knew--* PFFT WRONG GRAMMAR DUDE
"You can speak in Japanese. It's really okay."
"Ah! Gomen, gomen!"
"It's okay."
"Is it okay to ask a few questions?"
"Oh, sure."
"What exactly brought you back to Japan? What was this 'feeling' as you said in your last interview in America, that brought you back here?"
"Well, how should I say this.. err... there's this person that I've been wanting to meet since I left for America. I promised this person that I will come back for her."
"How sweet and caring of you!"
"Nah, it's really nothing. I'm just like any other normal person out there."
"You really are humble!"
"Gosh, please stop the compliments.."
"Err.. Would you like to give a shout-out to this person that brought you back?"
"That would be nice. Well, all I have to say is.. Rena-chan! I'm back! I'll come find you and I will pick up what we had from where we left them! See you, soon!"
"Okay~ A message to your fans!"
"Um.. Hello! Thank you for supporting me in my career and I hope you would support me til' the end!"
"Well, okay! That's it for today!"

*12 AM, MIDNIGHT
The smell of alcohol and the sounds of ragged breathing collide inside the bar. Old jazz music and sounds of glasses clashing make the atmosphere even better.
"Come on, Rena-chan, you've had enough alcohol for a day!" Rina tried to pull her sister away from the table but she just wouldn't budge
"Nghh... No.. I wanna hip stay here hip..."
"Oh, god! Rena you're embarrassing and tainting your name! My name to be exact!" Rena wavered her hand in front of Rina's face
"Then, go hip away..! Geez, just.. hip.. my practical test.. hip.. leave me hip.. alone..." She drank another glass and dropped her face flat on the table "..Ow."
"Rena-chan, I want to see you in your hotel room this morning, got it?!" Rena nodded as she pushed her sister away from her
As soon as Rina got out, a muscular man approached Rena.
"Hey, there! Wanna have fun tonight?" The man wiggled his eyebrows as Rena pours more alcohol to her glass
"Go away, hip.. baldy..!"
"You're lucky you're cute! If not, I would've tear your throat out!"
"Yeah..? Then, try me.. hip!" Rena stood up ready to smack the battle on his face but the man held her wrist too tight. With the lack of energy, her eyes started to blur as she struggled. When the guy was supposed to hit Rena, a person with a black hood and a cap stopped him
"Not so fast, buddy. You know, you can get into jail if you hit a girl."
"And who might you be, huh, you little twerp?" Just when the man reached for the person's head, the person whacked his hand away from touching his face.
"Touch me, and I'll be the one to tear your throat out." The person glared at the man as he backed away and dropped Rena but luckily, the person caught her just in time.

The person entered the quiet, orange dimmed room. While setting down Rena onto her bed, Rena suddenly fluttered her eyes open and close again.
"Jurina..."
"Eh..?" The person tilted his head but then Rena pulled the person in and kissed him roughly. It didn't last long, though. She was drunk after all.
*Next Morning
"Rena-chan-- What the! What are you doing here--" Before Rina could say anything, the person covered her mouth
"Shh!" Rina nodded and whispered
"Are you going to be okay here?"
"I'll manage." The person winked at her
"Whukies, okay then~ See ya, in a bit." Rina silently went out the door just in time when Rena started grumbling. The person rushed to Rena and looked down her face. She yawned and stretched her arms out wide. She slowly opened her eyes but then, she almost fell down the bed when she saw the person on top of her
"KYAAAAAAAA--" Before she could do anything, the person covered her mouth and laughed
"Chill, alright?" The person let go of Rena as she stared at the person with suspicious eyes
"Who are you?!" The person pulled out his hood
"I'm--"
"JURINA?!?!"
"Bingo!" Jurina smirked
Rena's lips curled into a smile. But inside, she was too happy. She never knew they would meet again.. EVER. But now, here they are, in the same bed, smiling at each other. Rena knew well Jurina came back to continue things where they left them.
Okay, I got to admit... I lost inspiration half way while making lol~
Anyway, I was laughing so hard after I wrote this because when I wrote the part on the "Bingo!" my phone suddenly played 'Yokaze no Shiwaza' and I thought it actually fit in the scene on where they were smiling at each other.

Hey, there guys! I'm back with an update~ I'm sorry for the very long wait OTL Well, I'm guessing no one wants to hear my reason, anyway lol. This is the end to The Idol of An Idol, guys ; - ; I hope we meet again, soon! Do keep on supporting me even though I tend to abandon my fics. I'm such an emotional person that whenever I get hurt, it also affects my writing. But I'm kind of in a 'Keep Cool' mood, so everything will turn out well.
Chapter 10: Something Happened To My Heart
Rena's POV:
The weirdest thing just happened to me. It felt like a dream. It felt like a fairy tale... A fairy tale that I just can't understand. Aren't fairy tales supposed to be simple and easy to ponder about? They are, right? But... why is it that this one is as complicated that my mind can't calculate all the possible answers? How can I understand that she's back and grown up? How can I understand that she comprehends the meaning 'Love' much more now? I don't see her as a kid anymore... These thoughts are bothering me. What should I do? I don't know what I'd do to her. She's grown up and I don't think she's still the person she was. Who knows... she might have forgotten my love... our love.

"Sigh..."
"Oi!"
"Shut up..."
"Rena!"
"Why won't you shut just up for a moment?!"
"Woah!" Rena glared at Jurina as she backed away from her. "Lay off the carbs there, Rena. You don't want to get Hyper tension, do you?" She chuckled and patted Rena's head. In fact, she grew taller than Rena for the past few years. She's really growing up.
"Don't touch me, you.. you.."
"Me what?" She stroked Rena's hair towards the bottom with a puppy like expression plastered on her flawless face
"Urrgh!" She laughed when Rena shook her hand away from my hair "Go away! Stop following me!"
"Come on, Rena--"
"Who said you could call me Rena?" Rena turned her attention to Jurina as she frowned and as if her imaginary tail had stopped wagging.
"Do you suggest I call you Hime? Ah, or maybe you'd like Kido-chan~" Jurina clapped her hands and jumped up and down
"If you want to call me 'Kido' then, go to Rina!!" Rena suddenly ran away from Jurina. As Jurina was startled, she scratched her scalp and pouted
"Mou, Rena is so hard to get." She paused and thought for a while but then, she sprinted to Rena's direction and found her on her knees, panting. "Rena!" Jurina quickly knelt down the sand to Rena's height. "Rena, are you okay? Did you trip?" Rena saw Jurina's anxious expression and felt guilty.
"I... I'm fine." Rena stood up, leaving a relieved yet disappointed Jurina... Disappointed for not even noticing her existence.
Jurina stood up and sighed "Rena, what's wrong with you? It's like you only met me just now."
"I only did meet you hours ago." Jurina's eyebrows furrowed causing wrinkles to form on her forehead.
"She has to stop frowning for a while." Rena giggled mentally
"For the first time?" Jurina took a step closer to Rena but she also took a step backwards, away from Jurina. Rena nodded causing Jurina to take off her sun glasses. "Rena, what do you think had changed while I'm gone, huh?" Jurina threw her sun glasses onto the sand and pinned Rena against a rock causing Rena to blush so hard
"W-well, you.. you have bangs now." Jurina didn't looked satisfied at all. I mean, it's just physical appearance. "You grew taller." Jurina smirked
"That means you can't escape my kisses, anymore." If it were possible, Rena would've been a tomato by now.
"... You know what else changed..?" Jurina shook her head and sensually moved closer.
"What changed...?"
Rena took a deep breath and looked firmly and deeply into Jurina's soul catching eyes. "I don't think that... we're in for the same reason now."
Jurina tilted her head "What do you mean?"
"I don't believe that... you're going to pick up things where we left them at all." Jurina's eyes widened in disbelief. As she was about to say something, Rena abruptly interrupted her "You don't need to say anything. Whether you're still in for it, I think I don't have much more strength to believe that your heart could love me again."
Suddenly, Jurina threw a punch onto the rock. The terrified Rena was all wide eyed. She looked at Jurina's fist and it was all bloody and bruised up. When she turned her sympathetic look to Jurina, she saw tears dropping down to the sand, drowning despite being water. "You don't know how much I've worked hard to come back for you. I love you, Rena. There was never the word 'Again' to begin with. I've never stopped loving you since the day we've separated. I know that you still have it in you," Jurina slowly rested her hand on Rena's chest. "I know that my love is still alive… buried within your pain." She smiled and wiped Rena's tears with her bloody hand "I will make you believe that I love you." Rena's tears had been flowing and unconsciously from the start, and then Jurina wrapped her arms around her.
"I'm sorry, Jurina... It's just that... I don't know what had gone to my mind. Something happened to my heart but I swear to you it will never repeat again." Rena cried on Jurina's chest as Jurina comforted her by stroking her back.
"Shh... Don't cry, Rena. We will bring this back together." Jurina flashed her trademark smile

From afar, three suspicious looking people had been spying on Jurina and Rena from the past few hours.
"Ne, shouldn't we tell the manager about this?" The person with blue striped hair spoke up and took off his sun glasses
"Perhaps we should. I mean, is Denki even allowed to have any relationships?" The person with blonde hair replied
"I don't think we should tell Manager-san. I don't want little Denki to suffer the same punishments as us." The person with brunette hair sat down and looked at his watch
"But Riku, think about what that evil Manager can do to us! I just got my butt permed!"
"What're you saying, Kai?! Is a butt perm even possible?!"
"Oi, you two! Keep it down. Don't forget that we're undercover." Riku pinched Kai and Kuu's ears
"Ahhh! Ittai, ittai! Stoppuu! We got it, we got iiitt!" The two young men said in unison as Riku let them go.
"Now, keep quiet before Denki spots us here. Before we report anything to Manager-san, let's do further research."
"Riku, are you sure you know what you're doing here?" Kai rested his hand on Riku's shoulder as the three of them watch Jurina with worried expressions
"What if the paparazzi catches her out with that woman? We're doing this for her good, Riku." Kuu looked at Riku curiously yet worriedly
"I'm not sure where this would lead to but come on, you guys. Denki is young and she needs to experience young, youthful love." Riku's two other companions nodded in unison
"Yeah, you got a point there, Riku." Kuu agreed
"But what about the risks of being caught?! And this is "L" were talking about here!" Kai seemed like he was about to lose his mind
"Oh, shut up, Kai. You're one to talk!" Kuu pouted and Kai smiled sheepishly
"Let's just look out for our Kouhai for now, you guys. Whatever harm comes on Denki's way, let's try to be senpais and save her." Riku pumped up his fist unto the air
"Osu!" The other two imitated Riku's actions

A few hours later...
As the cold breeze swept across the lovers under the starry sky, the mighty waves came crashing down in melodious harmony. Walking silently, hands intertwined, they weren't talking at all. They were just enjoying each other's company. For Jurina, this was a very important moment for she's finally reunited with her love after years. But for Rena, this was totally awkward. She feels like Jurina isn't the same anymore despite the time they spent together earlier and the way Jurina treated her.
"Hey, Rena...?" Jurina suddenly called out
"Eh?" Rena shifted her gaze unto Jurina. But Jurina was being aloof and looking at the sky
"Sometimes, I wonder why stars shine so bright." Jurina suddenly made a statement out of the blue which made Rena chuckle
"Silly, Jurina. Stars are made up of hot balls of glowing plasma that if you look at it in the distance, it shines. So, it's just like those city lights over there," Rena pointed at colorful lights of different forms beyond the sea "They shine just so... bright." At the last word she said, Jurina tilted her head and pouted
"Rena, why do you sound so lonely..?" Rena only smiled bitterly to Jurina's question for she doesn't know the answer to that.
"Why do you keep on asking me questions?"
"It's only the first one, though." Rena giggled as a wide smile grew upon Jurina's blemish free face. As a gust of wind flew by, Jurina encircled her arm around Rena's waist "It's warm like this." Rena blushed as Jurina snuggled up to her. "Rena, I have something to tell you."
"What is it?" Rena glanced at Jurina and she again was looking up at the starry sky. But this time, she had a face of a person in love.
"I'm in love with the stars." Rena's eyebrows furrowed to what Jurina said. She thought that how can Jurina still be this cute puppy who talks nonsense
"Err.. Is that essential?" Jurina chuckled and looked at Rena with those loving eyes
"Of course, it is. The stars... are just like Rena."
"Eh?"
"Yup. They are like you. They shine so bright that whenever I look at it, as if I can't pay attention to other people, anymore. Right now, I'm pretty much confused on who to look at." Rena giggled to the amusing statement and Jurina just smiled at her again.
"When you weren't physically by my side, I felt like an insane person who kept on talking to the stars. But in the end, I was made sane again. I fell in love in the process too... but of course, I still love Rena more than anything in this world. Because she's my dream and I would never give up my dream, I would never give up Rena, got it?" Rena blushed and looked away
"You're so sweet and determined. I like that about you." Jurina suddenly stopped in her tracks "What's wrong?"
Jurina faced Rena and cupped her cheek. "Please say that you won't ever try to do what's best for me because I can take care of myself." Rena frowned
"Jurina, how am I supposed to say that when I don't want you to get hurt?"
"I won't get hurt as long as you tell me to. I will be careful for you. I've become strong so you could stop worrying about me. Yes, you were right. I'm not the Jurina you used to know. I'm not the Jurina who was so childish of her antics and who was careless. I changed... because I'm afraid that you'd stop loving me." Rena smiled in relief
"Jurina, I'm sorry but I don't want to say it. No matter what happens, if you feel hurt, I don't want you to feel it alone. I think that my love will never disappear. Compare to you, I can't say anything. What I'm feeling right now... more than words can only express. I appreciate how you tried so hard to change for me, Jurina. But no matter how other people see how mature and concise you are, to me, you will always be the same puppy who made me fall deeply in love." Jurina smirked and moved closer
"So, does that mean Yes?" Rena tilted her head
"Yes what?"
"Okay. I'll stop playing games. We're not kids who raced to win each other's love anymore. I'm trying so hard to be serious despite being so nervous. Rena, will you.. er... be.. umm... m-my... Kami-sama, help me... g-g-"
"Girlfriend?" Rena smirked
"Uhh, yes! Yes! Yes, that's what I wanted to say." Jurina smiled sheepishly
"So, if this is what you mean with 'Yes' then, YES." Jurina took the initiative and slowly leaned in to capture Rena's lips. It was only a chaste kiss but all the feelings were poured out upon it. And that kiss will remain forever in their hearts
"So, will you say you love me?"
"I love you.. always have."
"I knew it!" Jurina leaned in to take another kiss but this time, it was more deeper and .. mature. I'll let your imagination go wild for now.
"I love you too." Jurina mumbled in their kiss
MEANWHILE...
"Hey! Riku, do it now!" Kai forcefully handed a fire cracker to Riku's grasp
"What?! No way!!" Riku threw the fire cracker back to Kai
"Argh! Hey, Kuu! You do it!" Kuu took the fire cracker and stuck a tongue out
"Geez, you bunch of cowards." Kuu set the fire cracker onto the sand just like the others and lighted them all. In a matter of 5 seconds, they all flew high up the sky and it seemed like it was pouring rainbows "Ahh~ The feelings of love~"
"We better prepare our butts for punishments. Their relationship might spread out." Kai rubbed his butt
"Meh." Riku and Kuu shrugged
