It’s been revealed that SKE48 will be releasing a new single (currently untitled) on January 30th.
This was announced on November 18th during the group’s handshake event for ‘Kiss Datte Hidarikiki‘ at Pacifico Yokohama. As Matsui Rena called out, “I have an important announcement for everyone!“, a message saying, “The second chapter of SKE48 will start“, was projected onto the monitor. The opening of SKE48’s official theater on December 9th was announced once again.
Since the members weren’t informed of the new single release, they were surprised by the sudden announcement. The title and senbatsu members will be announced sometime later.
Additionally, the music video for SKE48’s new song, “Tsuyogari Tokei“, was revealed during the event. This song is the coupling track to the Type A edition of AKB48’s upcoming single, “Eien Pressure“, which will be released on December 5th. In the music video, Kitahara Rie, who belongs in both AKB48 and SKE48 will make an appearance.
This is single 9th no sleeves, right?

SKE48 11th Single 「Choco no Dorei」(release January 30th)
SKE48 11th single’s title and senbatsu have been revealed during today’s KKS stage.
Title is Choco no Dorei (Chocolate’s Slave) and senbatsu members are as follow:
Team S : Rena, Jurina, Yuria, Masana, Nanako, Akarin, Kumin
Team KII : Anna, Ogiso, Shawako, Airin, Manatsu, Miki, Churi
Team E : Kanon
Unknown : Kitarie
According to Aki-P it’s a Valentine song and Rena added the lyrics are about a boy anxious at the thought of receiving choco or not from the girl he likes…
From someone who was in the theater today: “Song is quite similar to Jealousy no Alibi, and refrain is close from Shijin’s one”.
Fans are a bit skeptic about the single title given how 「奴隷」 is a “rude” word or at least very strong (often implying sexual submission too)… Though I find it quite interesting myself.
Senbatsu now… I will refrain from commenting because I might use rude words >_>’. Anyway, still only Kanon from E sounds like a joke. Nao, Madoka, where?! >_>’.

The one thing that stands out is the huge lack of Team E in the coupling songs as well.
