Hello everybody. First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a new member here, still so new. Well, not really new here. I've been reading quite a lot of fanfics here, and that's the main reason why I made an account. I create an account here so that I could post. I'm not so sure how you guys think about the fanfic. But I definitely going to do my best. Hope you guys enjoy it. Please do leave a comment.. Every comment is just so meaningful for me >.<

Prologue

I, Mario Shinoda, ehm.. Excuse me.. I'll repeat it once more. I, MARIO Shinoda, recently just live a happy perfect life. Why did I say recently? The answer is because everything just happened around 2 months ago. I'm not saying that before this, I was unhappy. I'm always happy. Well, not really.. I'm just lying to myself if I say that I'm always happy. Recently, I say it as a happy life because I live by working related to fashion, which is my dream ever since I was young, being surrounded by friends, whom I've regarded as my family, since I live away from my family, so that basically I spend more time with my friends than with my family, and last but not least, the factor that made my life perfect is, being accompanied by someone who is really special to me. She's an idol for lots of people, included me. I'm going to self-proclaim that I'm her Top Ota.. Forever.. FOREVER her Top Ota. Aside from being her Top Ota, I've dedicated myself that I wanna be by her side forever. F O R E V E R.

But, come to think about it, things don't always happen the way we want, do they? That happy perfect life I live.. Well, unfortunately, it only lasted for a while. Things are more complicated than what I've thought.

Ever since that day, because of my stubbornness, I lost my happy perfect life. I won't ever forget about it. I just WON'T EVER FORGET about the fact that everything happened because of me, my fault. I won't ever blame other people for everything happened to me. won't.. I just.. I.. just.. won't.. ever.. blame.. them.. EVER..

Days have passed.. But, still.. Still, I couldn't forget what happened that night.. The night which was supposed to be a great night. If only.. Once more, if only.. If only, I don't act that way.

Okay, enough of it.. Time never stops moving forward. Time will not wait for us. We must just move on, without looking back all the time. Future is ahead, and not behind us, isn't it?

Today, as well, exactly a month after that day. We haven't contacted each other at all. I don't really know how you are.. All I know.. All I know is only.. You're fine in front of the public. That you're FINE in front of the public. Observing you act as if nothing happened between us somehow hurts me. Hurts me that badly. Aren't I the one who usually acts much better than you do? Keeping all my emotions behind my well-known poker face.

Well, at least for today, I shall put on my well-known poker face really well, since it's going to be a long day. A really really long day. I only expect that there's nothing bad happened. Normal day will be considered as a really blessed day already. Really..

Chapter 1

Today, exactly a month after that day. All of you must be wondering what actually happened a month ago. Well, I'm not going to talk about it this early since it's going to make this long day even longer, much longer if I could say. All of you must be wondering why will today be a long day as well. If it's this question, then I'm going to answer it. That question is going to be answered. The reason why I said today would be a long day is because today I'm going to work together with 'you' in a photo-shoot. Since both of us are professional models, actually I shouldn't be bothered by our problems since it's not going to effect this photo-shoot. But what bothered me the most now is how am I going to act before and after the photo-shoot. How am I going to act just like your working partner for years, when I had a more special position before? How am I able to act as if there's no problem between us when I know it well, everything happened because of me? Acting innocent. Is it really fine? Okay, enough of it. I'll just act well, so that it will be a normal day. Normal working day, just like the time before we were in a relationship. I must be able to pull this off because... Well, come to think about it, it's simply because both of us are quite famous, and I don't want this BECAME a scandal when there's no one who knew about our relationship in the first place. Well, umh.. It's not really nobody knows about our relationship. There are.. There ARE people who knew about our relationship, and they are our close friends. Umh.. To make it specific, your best friends, and mine.

[Shooting location]

"Good Morning, Mr. Shinoda. I'm glad to see you already here. You know who your partner is, don't you?" asked the photographer, greeting me as soon as he saw me here.

"Sure.. I believe you would always pair me up with the best one, included today. Besides, how could I self-proclaimed myself as her Top Ota if I don't even know what she's doing today?" I answered in a playful tone, pulling up jokes.

"Ah.. I forgot that part. Your self-proclaimed Top Ota!" teased the photographer.

"Okay, so I've known who my partner is, from Acchan. But she didn't tell me what the concept is." I said as I threw a question implicitly.

"She hasn't told you? Well, she is supposed to tell you this. Okay, so the concept today is love, and you're going to act as a couple." the photographer told me.

"Oh.. Okay.." I answered short as worries come attacking me.

So, all of you might say that I'm such a fool, stupid, idiot or else because this is supposed to be the best chance for me to win her heart again. But honestly, really, I don't know why, deep in my heart, there's a voice holding me back to do these things. I mean, taking the chance. I just wouldn't do anything if she's not willing to, because I respect her. I DO really respect her so much. No lies.. Hurting her means hurting me, and that's the thing I really try to avoid. Well, I said avoid because I did that before. Well, I HOPE I did it before. Don't really know why, but if she was hurt by it, somehow I felt more relieved..

So, right now, she's sitting down, checking her phone as usual, while letting a stylish had her hair done. Seriously, not lying, she looked really gorgeous. Somehow reminds me of our sweet times. Nervously, my reflex brought me closer to her, and just suddenly, I'm here, in front of her.

"Good morning, Miss.. You're as beautiful as always" I tried to greet, putting a lil bit friendly jokes despite our relationship, remembering there's the stylist here.

"Good.. Good morning too, Mr. Charming" she replied short, but offering a smile.

"How are you recently? It's been quite some time since we worked together" I asked her.

"As you can see, I'm always fine" she answered with smile which somehow hurts me. Well, to be honest, I always want to see her smile, her being happy. But, looking at her smile somehow hurts me. Hurts me so much.

[Ring~ Ring~]

"Hello.. Yes, Yuu-kun?"
So, it's a call from Oshima Yuu, her co-worker model as well..

"Don't worry. I'll come tonight. I won't be late. I'm going to start photo-shooting now. See you tonight!" she said as she ended the call..
So, she's going out with him tonight. If only I could be the one who is with her tonight. It'll just... Well, stop thinking about the nonsense things. It's not going to happen anyway.

"That was a call from Yuu?" I asked confirming.

"Who else?" she replied short, with smile.

"So, guess you'll have a date with him tonight?" I continued asking.

"Date? Well, could be said so" she replied.

"Ah.. I see.. Happy dating then. Really, I REALLY meant it. Happy dating tonight. But..." I said as I stopped for a while.

"But?" she asked.

"But.. Let's do our best now, before your date" I continued, giving her a serious look.

"Sure, Mr. Charming. I'm pretty sure you know about me, and you are also aware of the part that I always do my best, no matter who I'm partnered with" she answered, somehow looks like quipping me.

"Oh right. I should have remembered about it" I answered silly as I put my hands on my head, giving off my smile.

She only looked at my eyes as if there are things she wanted to tell me. Silence. 'Silence' is her answer. She didn't reply anything as if our conversation has ended. Trying to save this awkward moment, I try to talk to her again. Well, I said 'again' because I just finished my talk, and receiving no responses. LOL at me.

"The shooting hasn't started yet. Shall we have a walk around here?" I suggested, without expecting anything. Seriously, I mean SERIOUSLY.. I never expect anything since I remembered about our relationship now. But, if you ask me, why I ask, then I'm going to say that I'm just offering as our conversation ended awkwardly just now.

"Do you think it's a good idea?" she replied asking me.

"Well, I'm not forcing if you don't want to. You know me.." I replied giving her a smile. "So, what's your choice, Miss?" I asked for her answer.

"If you are sure about it, then I'll just come along" she replied as she stood up.

Her reply somehow made me lost in my own thought. That's just so so so 'her'. It's like her real self is responding to me. That's really typical her, her side which I love so much, but also the side that made my heart aches again and again. Suddenly, I was brought back to reality by a touch on my shoulder. Right after I came back to reality, all I see is her face CLOSE UP. She has been looking at me the whole time, waiting for me. Looking at my shocked face, she knew I was 'here' now.

"You're not coming? If you're not, then I've decided to go for a walk myself" she said.

"Wait.. Wait a moment, Miss.. How can I let this beautiful amazing person in front of me walk alone? How am I going to react if something bad happened to her?" I asked as I gave her a smile. "Let's go~!"

She didn't reply me again. Well, you all know that she didn't reply me before as well. But she gave me her smile. Her pure smile to be exact. The smile I've always been longing for these 2 months. That pure smile of her.. REALLY.. made my day..

Soon, it's the end of shooting. Everything ended up well.. Umh, much better than what I thought. And you know what? YOU KNOW WHAT? The staffs praised me. They said that we just looked like a real couple, without knowing the fact that we HAD that kind of relationship before. Anyway, since it's kinda late now, I'll rush to have a dinner with my best friends. I asked them out this morning since I thought I might need to refresh myself. Besides, Acchan is just too curious. From what I can recall happened today, the first thing I gotta complain to Acchan is about the CONCEPT which she didn't tell me when she's SUPPOSED to. Why did I say 'complain' and not 'blame'? Well, the answer is simple, it's because the shocking today ended up PERFECTLY, and there's no reason for me to get mad at my little sister when things go smoothly, isn't it? Okay, enough of babbling, otherwise I won't ever arrive my destination.

Okay, I'm in the cafe now. As soon as I opened the door and stepped in, I saw 2 familiar figures in front of me, chit-chatting. Those 2 girls are my best friends. Let me introduce it to you later. Well, as soon as possible. But before introducing them to you, I have to meet them and greet them before.

"Hey, hello, Acchan, Shiho" I greet them as I make my way there.

"Hello, Mari-kun" Acchan replied me with her hand waving at me, as if she's afraid I'm lost in this cafe. Such a cute sister role. Well, funny and super adorable if I could say. Who could resist such a cute and adorable little sister? Quite different from Acchan, I only received short and elegant response from another best friend of mine.

"Welcome, Mario" Shiho replied as she offered me a smile on her face.

Okay, let me introduce you to my best friends now. So, I have to best friends and they're Acchan and Shiho. First of all, Acchan, Acchan is a nickname called by us, while her name is Atsuko Maeda. We are best friends. Well, actually our relationship isn't merely best friends. She is more like a sister of mine. I always treat her as my little sister. We respect each other, and we can talk about everything I wanna tall her. She's now an actress. Besides an actress, she also had a lot of photo-shoots for magazines. She has a lot of fans. A lot of people admiring my little sister and I'm happy that my little sister I support can reach this point. Second is Shiho. Shiho is her name, while Watanabe is her surname. She is Shiho Watanabe. She takes a small part in acting, modelling, and so on, but what she has while Acchan and I don't is, she took part in competing to become Miss Earth before. Though she didn't win, I'm quite proud that a best friend of mine placed 2nd and became a runner up. She's beautiful, gorgeous, and absolutely friendly. She has lots of friends, which are still in touch with, although she's quite famous now. I don't look her as my little sister although she's younger than me, but I do look her as my best friend. A friend who is just that close to me, the one who would sometimes come to my house to prepare dinner together.

"Bro.. How's today?" Acchan starts a conversation, pats my shoulder, and giving me a smile.

"Today? Unexpectedly great. Ah.. And you.. Why didn't you tell me about the concept today? [takes a breath] The photographer said you knew about it" I replied as I started complaining.

"Eh? COncept? Oh right.. But Mari-kun didn't ask me about it" Acchan replied me, seeking for an excuse.

"Oh right. I didn't ask because I forgot, and I bet you didn't forget about it, and purposely let me figure it out by myself. Am I making any mistakes, my dearest lil sister?" I replied, purposely emphasizing 'my dearest lil sister', which lead her laughing out loud, gaining the attention of everyone.

"Mari-kun is as amazing as usual. Mari-kun is able to read my mind very well. I'm so impressed.." Acchan said as she hugged me tightly. On the other side, Shiho was just looking at listened to us quietly all the time, and giving a laugh to our act.

This moment, I really want to facepalm myself. I was just so shy because all of the attention is at us, and then just all of a sudden, Acchan hugged me that tightly. Well, actually I was just being exaggerating if I said I was shy. Who would shy being hugged by this adorable sister? A person who would just hug you tight as if she's hugging a teddy bear. Well, maybe this shows that I'm a bit tsundere. But, seriously, who cares? Today is a really blessed day! Blessed, not ordinary day. I'm just so happy for what happened so far. Well, I said so far because the day hasn't ended, and I'm not someone who could see the future. So how can I know what's going to happen ahead? Am I right? Or I'm saying it wrong?

Yahoo~ I'm back again.
Supposed to be yesterday, but yesterday was too busy, got no time to type. That's why I update it today. :D :D

Um.. I've decided to update this fanfic weekly. Supposed to be every Monday. But, if I don't update it on Monday, then it'll be on Tuesday. Thank you so much for the attention and support :heart:

Chapter 2

"It's late now. Let me drive you home.." I said as I let the two girls get into my car. Since I'm the only guy here, I think it's my responsibility to take care of the two. Don't you agree? At least I must make sure that they really arrived their home safely. And, as usual, I'll drive Shiho home first, then followed by Acchan. As usual too, they're just becoming more and more talkative when they're about to be separated. Funny them.. This never-ending talk, somehow... I've got used to it.

Soon, I've dropped two of them home. Normally, I'll just head home directly. Well, that's normally. t doesn't happen today. Just don't know why, I stopped by in a nearby convenience store to get myself a drink to relax myself. It has been a long day. But that doesn't mean I'm tired of today. Well, actually it could be said as I'm tired of doing something. Not a negative thing though. It's just.. I'm tired of being thankful for all things happened today. There sure are a lot of things I need to be thankful for. Just wanna grab a drink and enjoy the moment alone, recalling things happened today.

Soon, I arrive in the nearby convenience store. Parked my car in front of the store, and get myself a drink. If you are wondering, I'm not taking a can of beer or other alcoholic drink. I'd like to relax, so I'm taking green tea instead. Besides, I don't really like alcoholic drinks that much as they're not good for me. I mean, my health. Yes, MY HEALTH. You know, living as a model or something like that.. I must take care of my body really well. So, basically you could say I'm someone who takes really good care of myself. Sometimes, they'll call me health freak because of it.

After taking myself a drink, I head to cashier to pay for my drink. Planning to find a location where I can relax and drink my drink, I made myself walk to a nearby park, with my favorite Panda jacket. So, it's not like a jacket that's in Panda form, but it;s a jacket with a Panda picture in it. For those who don't know, I love Panda so much and I DO collect Panda things. I mean, things with panda in it, and not bamboo or something related to Panda. LOL. And if you're wondering why I should walk to a nearby park only to drink my drink, I'll tell you. I'll tell you that I love being cool, and I just found it really not cool for me to enjoy drinking by sitting inside my car.

Walking slowly while enjoying my drink, enjoying the night view of this city.. Isn't it amazing? If you're saying not, then you should try it. It's just amazing. REALLY AMAZING.. Finally arriving the park. Since it's late, I mean, it's 11 p.m. now. Of course it's quite late for people coming to the park right? That's why, no wonder it's just... so quiet... maybe? I only saw a figure. She's a girl with long hair, sitting on the bench by herself, seems to be lonely though. But, shall I approach and talk to her? But.. Remembering the time, and I'm a guy, will she think I'm a bad person? Such a dilemma.. In the end, I'm just trying to come closer to see a clearer look of her face. The closer I get, the more shock I get. I mean, why was I shock? Well, of course I'm shock when the girl is somebody I know. The girl is none other than her. Nervously, I made my way to her, trying to get closer to her.

"Don't you feel cold by coming out at this hour with that outfit?" I asked as I came closer, close enough for her to listen to what I say. My question shocked her, as she looked around and saw me. Freeze in her position, stunned by the fact that it's me. First, she must be in her own world just now, and that's why she didn't realize that I come closer. Second, she must be shocked even more to find out that it's me. She's just too stunned that for thhe XXX time today, she ignored my question.

Being ignored doesn't really affect me now. As soon as I'm in front of her, I took off my lovely Panda jacket and put it on her by her shoulders.

"Night wind isn't really friendly. You shouldn't come out without jacket or those things this often at night. You should take care of yourself." I said as if I'm lecturing a kid who doesn't know these things. Guess she's still shock as she didn't respond to me again. I mean, SERIOUSLY.. 2 times in a row? You gotta be kidding me. What else am I going to say? Okay.. okay.. Inhale.. Exhale.. Inhale.. Exhale.. take a deep breath.. Stay cool.. After calming myself down in my mind, I move and sit beside her, right after putting my jacket on her.

"What brings you here in this hour?" I asked as I look at her, waiting for her to reply me. Seriously, just reply anything now. It's not a nice feeling to be ignored 3 times in a row.

"I don't know. I just want to, then I come." she answered that softly, looking down, at the ground.

Somehow, looking at her answer, I know she's being honest and that's why I love her. I mean, her being so honest and just say what she thinks. That's her charm, or at least that's what I believe. But, that isn't merely the reason why I love her. She's just so charming the way she is, and I don't think we need a reason to love someone, do we?

"You still love to daydream, don't you? The moment I approach you.. You don't realize it, do you?" I asked her as I sounded worried.

She nodded her head, which made me know the answer to my questions.

"You shouldn't daydream that often. What if it's not me who approached you just now? What if they are people who wanted to hurt you?" I told her as I'm worried with her habit of daydreaming.

"DO YOU EVEN CARE?" she yelled, looking at me in my eyes, as tears can be seen flowing down. This view stunned me. Her words, her face, her tears.. E V E R Y T H I N G.. Everything stunned me. I am lost at words. I got no idea how to respond and what to respond. Just all of a sudden, I remembered everything I have done to her. Fortunately, I mean.. Fortunately enough for me to remember to respond to her, back to life! Lol..

"How can I not care?" I asked her back. Well, not purely asking. It's only my respond since I don't expect her answer. As my reflex, I pull her close to me with my arms and hug her tight. She DID resist me. I mean, she resisted me, wanted to push me back, freeing herself from by hug, but I don't give in. I still hug her with all my might, despite she's still sobbing. Sobbing on my chest.

"You know I'll never force you do something you don't want to. That's my principle. But I'm so sorry.. I won't let you go with that thought. The thought 'I don't care about you'. You must know that you're always important to me, even more important ever since then, since that day. I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry for what happened last month. I still remember it well. It's exactly a month ago. I'm sorry, Haruna." I said as I still hug her tightly, and she's still sobbing.

"I don't believe in what you say.." she said softly, I mean, really softly, but because I'm hugging her, I'm able to listen to it.

"Then I'll hug you till you believe in what I say." I replied her, also softly, just loud enough for her to listen to. "You know I mean it. You know how much I mean this. You're just so important to me. I'm sorry for what I've done before, Haruna." I said as I apologized.

"So, do you regret it?" she asked as she started to calm herself down a little bit.

"If you ask me about this..." I said slowly as I paused for a while, thinking..

Since I pause, she broke the hug to look at me in my eyes, waiting for me to answer. I also let her broke the hug that moment since she has calmed down.

"'Regret'.. I don't know if that word exists. Seriously, I won't say that I regret for things I've done because regretting doesn't make me learn anything. I'll just take it as a life lesson and learn to understand you even more. I learned something, I learned that you're just so important to me. I want our relationship back." I paused for a while, only to see she's still looking at me and I have her attention. "But I won't ask for it that easily. I'll work hard once more for it. I won't do the same mistake again. How does it sound to you? Do you mind?" I asked worriedly, waiting for an answer. This time, anything she said is just so important. I'm going to work hard for our relationship again if I get her consent. But, if I don't get her consent, I'll just give her some time while taking care of her from a distance.

She didn't answer me directly. She thought for a while before answering. seems that she's aware enough of the consequences of her choice. After some time thinking, she managed to answer me.

"Do you think you can win me back?" she asked tilting her head, but it seems that she's serious with that question.

"I've won your heart once, and I believe I can won it once more." I answered as I gave her my smile. "Thank you so much, Haruna.." I thank her as she's willing to give me a second chance. This answer of her really really made my day. Seriously.. I'm given a second chance!!

Talking for some time made me forget about the time. Curious, I look at my phone and saw the time. Oh My God!! We've been talking for half an hour. It's getting even more late.

"It's kinda late now.. Come, let me walk you home." I offered.

"I can walk home by myself. You should just go home now. Your home is far" she declined my offer, walking away, heading her home.

I followed her, "Come on.. You know me. How can I let you walk home by yourself?" I said as I walk beside her. Seems that she realized that no matter how she tried to make me leave, I'll still accompany her home.

"Thank you" she thanked.

"It's my pleasure to walk you home" I replied. "So, what are you going to do tomorrow? Well, I mean, really tomorrow.." I asked her, trying to have an easy talk.

"Umh.. I'm actually going out of town tomorrow" she answered my question.

"Out of town? Really? Have a safe trip! Take good care of yourself" I said as I pat her shoulder.

She only nodded her head, showing okay.

"A lot of things happen today, and I'm happy at everything happened today" I told her. "What about you? How is today?" I asked her.

"Um.. Today.. No comment.. I'm always blessed. Everyday is a great day and I'm happy for it" she answered without thinking much, really, her typical personality. That's her charm, and I believe her fans love her because of that too. Being so innocent, honest.. That's a great thing, isn't it?

"Then what about us being praised by the staffs?" I asked hoping she gave me longer answer or ask about anything since I ran out of idea already. This might end up in silence. I thought as I try to find more ideas. You guys know her right? I mean, she rarely starts a conversation, especially when it comes to strangers or people she's not close to. That's why her friends can be seen around her almost every time. And also, it's almost every time, her friends are the one who talked to her. You guys must be wondering too, how can I survive with this quiet my-pace girl for so long. I'll just give no comment to it. It's just like you'll sacrifice everything for somebody really special to you, right? Same applies here. I'm used to her being quiet and sometimes being quiet means a lot to us. Just by being quiet, side by side, we're like understand each other. Understand what we wanted to say already. Seriously, no lies. There are times when we're just next to each other, keep quiet, but managed to understand each other. Okay, enough of it. I almost forgot I'm on my way walking her home.

"I'm happy with it. Who wouldn't? I mean, after being praised that way" she replied to my question, giving me a smile.

"You're right. I'm also so happy with it. Anyway, I miss that smile so much" I said as I look at her, then shifted my sight to the sky.

Quiet.. Silence.. It's what created now. After some time walking in silence, we finally reached her home.

"We're here. Thanks for accompanying me home" she thanked me.

"You don't have to thank me. Isn't it my responsibility? You know I just wouldn't let a girl going home alone this late. I replied her.

"Hahaha" she laughed. It's been a while since the last time I witnessed it. Deep inside me, I really miss her so much. Seriously, it's like I wanna stay by her side forever. "I forgot you're that type of person." she continued after laughing.

"Really? How can you forget about me?" I asked looking upset.

"I'm kidding. How can I forget that easily?" she responded, patting my shoulder.

"I'm relieved. I thought I need to tell you everything about me again" I said as I pat her head. "Oh right.. We're here. Good night. Take good care of yourself. Safe trip.. You enter, I leave" I told her.

"Good bye.. Take care.." she said as she waved to me, to which I waved back, then the door is closed and I leave. Walking all the way back to the car, just realizing I forgot my Panda jacket. Looking at the time, it's the next day already. Really too late now. Driving all the way home.

Finally home, looking at my activities tomorrow, and seriously, going to facepalm myself. I got to come to the TV station for being a guest in a show, and you know what? We're supposed to arrive at 4 a.m. So, what time am I suppose to wake up and get ready? 2? 3? Oh My God.. Such a day.. But, really worth it. Heading to my bedroom just to get some rest soon. But before it, took my mobile out only to mail her.

After making sure that the mail is delivered, I set my alarm. Can't stop being thankful, and managed to take a rest after this long but happy day. Chapter 3

Haruna's POV

Today, I have a photo-shoot with Mari-kun. As usual, we arrived earlier than our schedule, because both of us don't like to be late. Isn't it better for us to wait for other people than letting other people waiting for us? Well, if you don't think so, then at least let me have that kind of thought. So, he approached me while I was having my hair done. It has been a while since we talked to each other. I am supposed to act cool, and resist everything. But, deep inside me, I really miss him so much, and that's why I still managed to respond to him, no matter how mad I am supposed to be.

In the middle of our conversation, Yuu-kun called me just to remind me that we have a hang-out along with the rest. Seems that Mari-kun misunderstood it and thought that I am dating with Yuu-kun. I was surprised when he asked me about it. But, in order to keep it cool, then I didn't deny about it. Come to think about it, there's no wonder he thought I am dating Yuu-kun. It's because we all know that Yuu-kun also has an affection towards me. Besides that, I also often working together with Yuu-kun which made Mari-kun jealous a lot, and the climax is last month where we had a fight because of this. That's a bit of the trivia. Now, Mari-kun offering us had a walk before the photo-shoot. I am supposed to reject it, but I can't. I realize that no matter how hurt it was, I'm still responding to him. I really miss him so much. deep inside me, I want to be by his side.

Shooting is done. Hanging out with my best friends. I don't really have a lot of friends. Here are my best friends. We often hang out together, but maybe rarely the four of us together like today. I'm going to introduce you to them now.
First, Yuu Oshima. I usually called him Yuu-kun. He is a popular model for both CM and photo-shoot. He got lots of fans too, and I think everyone here knows that he also got the 'love' for me. Most of the fans think that we're an ideal pairing. I'll give no comment. He's my best friend after all.
Second, Kai Takahashi. I called him 'Kai the midget'. Why? Because he's shorter than me. But.. Wait.. I totally forget that Yuu-kun is also shorter than me! *facepalm* *ignores*. This kai is actually really kind. He'll just help everyone, no matter he knows that person or not. And you know what? I felt a little bit uneasy with him because of my fight with Mari-kun. Just hope that it won't affect this relationship with Acchan, Mari-kun's best friend of more likely like his little sister. Actually I'm pretty close to Acchan because we often had double-date (laughs). Such memories.. Made me miss even more.
Third, last but not least, Kuu Minegishi. He's a funny guy. He loves food so much, just loves food more than anything else. I often hang out with him the most, probably because he's the least busy guy out of the four of us. Though Kai the midget also rarely had photo-shoot, but since he's also a general manager for an idol group, he's busy. Nothing much I could say about this Kuu. All I remember again is the fact that he's also shorter than me. Okay, fixed. I'm the tallest among the four of us though I'm the only girl. Midgets everywhere?! (laughs). This Kuu meets all the criteria to be a best friend. He often pulls a prank to me. Usually paired up with Yuu-kun, and rarely paired up with Kai the midget. If you ask why, then it's because Kai isn't really gifted in pulling pranks, so the chance of suceeding is nearly 0.

Okay, time to hang out. Unexpectedly usual, only Kai who is already here. Guess no matter what or where the meeting is, Kai will be the first to gather. Definitely a manager. Having a little chit-chat with Kai while waiting for the rest of them to come.

"Hello, Kai.." I greet as I arrive the location.

"Oh, hello Nyannyan.." Kai replied me as he waved at me.

"The earliest as usual, huh, midget captain?" I praised as I teased him.

"Hey.. What's with that 'midget captain'? Why do you tease me as soon as you're here?" the midget protested, giving a pout.

"I'm just kidding" I said as I laugh.

"Oh right.. I heard from Acchan that you're having photo-shoot with Mario today? How's it? How's it??" he asked as he became curious.

"Hm.. The photo-shooting, huh?" I said as I think.

"What happened? you know I'm reliable in this" he said as he convinced me to tell him.

"Nothing bad happened. The better part is, we're even being praised by the staffs" I answered.

"That's all? That's all you're gonna tell me?" the continued asking, giving me a frown. Disappointed.

"Um.. I don't know why, but I really miss him so much. It's like a part of me is still expecting him" I said softly as my hands are playing with things I could see, as the atmosphere gradually becoming serious.

"I see.. I understand how you feel." Kai replied as he pats me on my shoulder, giving me his warmth smile. "Then what about Yuu?" Kai continued asking.

"Nothing changed. I feel so sorry towards Yuu-kun as I can't give him what he expects" I answered honestly, still have my eyes focus on things and playing with them.

"Hm.. All I can suggest is, don't you ever lie to yourself. Just be honest with yourself, be honest to what you feel" Kai suggested. "We all know, this one month, Yuu has been surprisingly trying hard to win your heart as he thought this is the best chance. But, what I can judge from what I just listened is, it's like your heart still belongs to Mario, isn't it? Mario may have hurt you, but that doesn't mean anything because you want him as well. Isn't it?" Kai continued telling me from his view, then suddenly assume something, waiting for my answer.

I don't even know how to answer now. I only nodded my head to give any consent on what he said. "I don't know what I should do now" I said in a really soft voice after a moment of silence.

"Come on, my-pace Princess.." Kai said as he listened to what I said. "You know what you should do more than anybody else." he continued as he patted my head as if I'm a kid.

"Maybe you're right. I know it the best" I said as I continued thinking. "Please let it remain a secret. No one should know about it, including Acchan" I reminded him since Acchan is really good at gathering information.

"Haha.." he only laughed. "Don't worry, Nyannyan.. You can trust me" he said, winking at me, which made me go like 'whaaaaaaatttt are you doing, midget?!!' as I babbled like crazy.

Soon, two of them came almost at the same time. Had dinner with them, with almost the same topic again. But of course I'm not giving the same answer since the atmosphere isn't that serious.

After dinner and little talk, I went home by myself. It's still so early, so it's not that dangerous anyway. And because of that reason as well, I succeed in convincing them to let me go home by myself. Normally, Yuu-kun is the one driving me home. But since Kai is the one who is like a captain to us, when he agreed I went home by myself with a condition, I ended up going home by myself. That's a lot to Kai who could help me in every situation, especially in this kind of situation. So, if you're curious about it, Kai's condition is I have to inform him as soon as I reach home. If you're wondering, why I inform Kai, then I'll simply say because the one who gave me permission was Kai himself. As much as all of us do, we always try to respect whatever Kai decides, because he's the one that has the most leadership between us. It's not like friendship has a leader or someone 'more powerful', but we decided this to keep this running smoothly. I mean, this friendship of us. As you can see, we're 4 people, so sometimes it could be like 2 against 2 in opinion. Whenever that happen, we'll go with what Kai chose, and the example is, the fact that I can go home by myself for the first time. It's because of Kai, who supported me.

So, I really DID go home. I mean, I reached home, still standing in front of the door, and informed Kai through mail. Planned to enter, but suddenly.. Suddenly I want to go to the nearby park, so I end up walking to the nearby park and sit still on the bench there. Nobody is in the park. I wonder why.. well, because I'm a busy person, whenever I am able to get back early, I'll just stay home. So, basically you can assume that I rarely spend my night in the park, which also means that I don't know whether it's usually this way or not.

As soon as I sat on the bench and trying to enjoy the night, well, the rare night.. My thought was occupied by something else. I remembered those words Kai said to me. "I must be honest to myself" I said to myself softly, as I keep replaying how Kai said to me again and again. I'm just too focus on it that I really don't realize there's someone approaching me. I am shocked. Shocked by the existence of other people all of a sudden because as far as I remember, it is only me, alone in the park.. That voice snapped me out of my daydream, and I furiously looking at the source of the voice, and found it. Someone so familiar to me. Someone who makes me feel safe just by standing next to me. someone who is able to calm me down just by being silent. Someone I miss so much, but unfortunately he's also someone who hurts me. Someone who hurts me so badly that I'm supposed to get mad, but just unfortunately I can't get mad at him. I can't get mad at him no matter how hurt it is.. Why? Because I miss him too much. I miss his existence that much..

Found him walking closer to me stunned me. I don't know how to respond. It's like my mind loads so slowly that it looks like hang or not working. I just keep quiet, sitting still in my position. Besides, because Iw as too focus just now, I didn't listen to what he said. How to reply? Don't even know what to reply. In the end, I am just being quiet. First, stunned that he came closer to me. Second, even more stunned when he takes off his jacket and puts it on me. Everything is so sudden. I don't know how to respond. It's like my feeling is playing with me now. This feeling.. Is too much already.. Please.. stop already.. Enough.. I begged you, my feelings..

He came closer to me, told me "Night wind isn't really friendly. You shouldn't come out without jacket or those things this often at night. You should take care of yourself." after putting his favorite jacket on me, stunned me. I was stunned for the second time, don't know how to respond. He was this way, caring. Always caring even to the smallest. In this moment, there's a fight in my mind. One side reminds me what Kai told me, to be honest to myself, while the other side of me reminds me what Mari-kun did to me, and how I'm supposed to be mad at him. 2 contrast things fighting in my mind really is driving me crazy. What should I do? I really can't stand this now.

He moves and sits beside me now. trying to talk to me again. "What brings you here in this hour?"

"I don't know. I just want to, then I come" I answered softly, but quick, doesn't think much about it. In the moment, I decide no to think too much as I might faint because of overloaded with emotions.

"You still love to daydream, don't you? The moment I approach you.. You don't realize it, do you?" He asked me. He must be worried. I'm so sorry.. Suddenly feeling bad for making other people worried. I just don't like for making other people worried.. I only nodded some times in response to his question because of feeling sorry.. Plan to apologize, but before I apologize, he started lecturing me again. I've had enough of this, really enough of it. Can't even hold it any longer. I yelled out full of emotion, crying, "DO YOU EVEN CARE?" looking at him. Looks like he's the one that's shock now. He tried to pull me closer to him. I resisted, but in the end, I'm still in his hug. His warming hug. seriously, I tried to avoid this hug so much because it's just too peaceful. The hug that makes you feel you're the only one. The hug that tells you that you're never alone. The hug that says I'll always be by your side. The hug that asks you to cry out everything, don't hold anything back. The hug that makes you feel safe, being protected, and love.. The hug that never fail to calm me down. After being hugged a while, I wanna break the hug because I'm still mad. Trying to push him away with all my might, but he managed to hold me even tighter. After trying to push him away several times. I end up crying out on her chest. I don't now what to say. There's nothing pass my mind. All I know is I cry, on his chest. He tried to convince me that he cares for me and how I'm that important to him. He said lots of things when I cry on his chest. I want to believe those, about how important I am, but I can't. I told him honestly that I don't believe in what he said. Seems that he hasn't given up yet. He even apologized to me. Guess all I want is only an apology. As soon as he apologized, my heart became much better, and I just dramatically calmed down. All of you must be thinking that I'm a fool, only expecting an apology when he hurt me that much already. I, myself, don't know why this happen as well. All I could say is, I calmed down in his hug.

After he apologized, I ask him whether he regrets. He keeps quiet. But since I want him to answer, I broke the hug easily, looking at him in his eyes, waiting for his answer. Soon, he answered my question. I am surprised at his answer, but somehow I can tell he's being honest. Come to think about it, his answer isn't that bad and I'm glad at it. But then, he confessed to me that he wanted our relationship back. I"m just shocked at it. don't know what to answer. Fortunately he made me feeling easy by saying he'll work hard for it once more. Asking me my willingness. I am supposed to give him an answer. Every answer will give a big impact. Why? Because I know him so much. There'll be consequences if he's asking me to choose. I don't think I'm able to choose now. But just.. Suddenly, I remembered Kai's words. Be honest to myself? I trust him. I wanted to believe him once more. I decided to tell him that. He's happy.. And to my surprise, I feel relieve and happy as well.

He realized that it's kinda late now and decided to accompany me home. Since my home isn't that far, I decided to walk home by myself again. Well, that's only what I say, but there's another reason. The other reason is because he may be too tired if he has to walk me home first. His home is far away from here. Rejecting his offer still makes him accompany me home. Guess this always happen between us. He just never let me go home by myself. Not even once. Still remember how in the past when I reject his offer accompanying me home. He didn't walk with me. I mean, beside me, or talk to me. He followed me home in a distance as if he's a stalker. After making sure I'm home, he left. Isn't it just a funny act? I mean, I just couldn't believe it that that time, that this kind of person actually exists. In the end, I just thank him for accompanying me home and we have a little talk.

A relaxing talk, about random stuff and life, not about serious problems since it might be hard for both of us to handle, maybe (laughs). The longer we talk, the more comfortable it is. I don't know whether this choice I choose is actually right for me or not.

Finally reaching home as usual, he leaves after I closed the door. Thinking about things I have done today behind the door. I took out my mobile and mail Kai.

After sending a mail to Kai, I made my way to the room, when I just realized that I'm still with his jacket. Feeling happy with it as I took it off and put it on the hanger. Preparing myself to take a bath. After taking a bath, planned to sleep as I got to wake up in the morning to go out of town. Just when I am about to go to sleep, my mobile rings, informing me there's a mail coming. receiving the mail, open it.

Reading the mail, unconsciously smiling at it. As usual, he loves sending this kind of mails. As usual as well, I don't reply him anything. But deep inside me, I'm happy for receiving this kind of attention. "Sweet dreams too, Mari-kun", I said as I close my mobile, put it aside and prepare myself to go to the dreamland. Dreamland after this sweet world.. A lot of things happened today. Hoping that this choice isn't wrong. "Kai, thank you. Thank you for your advice"

Actually, I've written half way of this chapter till I listen to madoromi~
By the time I listened to madoromi, I got the idea to use that song, so I decided to re-write and change the whole Chapter 4. I put some of the song lyric translations in this chapter.. So as far as possible, please do listen to madoromi while reading.

Chapter 4

Haruna's POV - past

Today is my first month anniversary with Mari-kun.. Wanted to celebrate it so badly, but don't know if I can celebrate it or not. Why?? It's because I have photo-shooting schedule all day long. I don't even know what time this will end and if I'm able to celebrate it. But leave that aside, I've promised to tell Mari-kun everything. I mean, if this is going to finish earlier or not, if we're able to celebrate it together or not. He agreed, Well, actually he also has his photo-shooting activity, but he's sure that it won't be long, so he'll definitely be able to celebrate it together if my photo-shooting ends early.

I am kinda shock to find out that my photo-shooting partner today is Yuu-kun. Well, it's not like I'm lack of information so that I don't know. But, as far as I remember, my shooting partner for today isn't supposed to be Yuu-kun. But, that doesn't really matter, right? I mean, isn't it counted as a good thing if the one you're paired up with, is your best friend? Well, that's what I think. At least in this moment. Since it's only the two of us, Yuu-kun is sticking with me all the time, starting a conversation with me again and again. Giving me no time to check my mobile.

Break time again, and Yuu-Kun is fooling around again. As usual, Yuu-kun will try to kiss me or else, and I can't really get mad at him sicne he's my best friend and I know he's just fooling around. But it seems that luck isn't by my side. By the time Yuu-kun tries to kiss me, I avoid the miss, but not really resisting it or else as smiles can be seen in my face. People might think I'm enjoying it though I'm not. As he failed to kiss me, he tries again, and that's when Mari-kun comes to my photo-shooting location to wait for me. Mari-kun is stunned to be welcomed by this, so do I, stunned by stunned Mari-kun. As soon as I saw him, the smile in my face disappeared as I can feel something different in a moment. As soon as Mari-kun looked at the stunned me, he comes closer to me only to hand me a plastic bag, then he leaves. Though I'm still stunned, my reflex wants to chase him, but Yuu-kun holds me back in doing this. "We still got shooting section" he said. Right after I'm hold back, I find a place to sit and look at what Mari-kun handed me. Finding out what Mari-kun handed me made me so shock and sorry. In the plastic bag, there's a bentou. Taking out the bentou from the plastic bag and opened it. It's a curry rice, his favorite curry rice and some tomatoes, since I eat tomatoes to take care of my skin. Just from what's in the bentou, I could tell that he's been that caring to me, and how much I hurt him this time. The food in the bentou is prepared by him alone. I'm pretty sure about it. Right after looking at it, I close it back, as I can't even try to eat it because of the feeling of sorry, overwhelmed me. After some time, I just remembered my mobile. Hurriedly make my way to my bag to look for my mobile and check it. Checking my mobile doesn't really shock me as I have that kind of feeling already. Because I was too busy, I totally forgot to check my mobile. My mobile is flooded with mails from Mari-kun. It seems that Mari-kun came here because he knows I'm busy, even to reply his mails. That's why he came here with taking dinner along because he knew this shooting will end late and I might haven't had my dinner. Coming here with good intention, but greeted by this view. That must be hurt. He left without saying any single word to me. He must be that shock and don't know how to respond or what else to say. Right now, after this incident, all I know I want is, to finish this shooting quickly. I really mean it. Just real quickly so that I can clear up this misunderstanding. For every second since then, I feel uneasinem.ss. It's like I've done really big mistake, and even regretting I don't chase him just now. Guess things don't always happen the way we want. No matter how quick I want this photo-shooting to end, it just ends after hours.

Right after the photo-shooting ends, Yuu-kun decided to drive me home as usual, but I reject his offer. "I'm sorry. I'm in a rush" I said as I leave. I made my way to Mari-kun's home. He gave me his home's key last month, so I got no problem in entering his home. His clean and tidy home is unexpectedly in a mess. It's dark as lights aren't turned on but mess can be seen. His home is always clean and tidy, but not for now. I can feel something isn't right. Cans of alcoholic drinks can be seen everywhere. I wonder how long and how much he has been consuming. But that doesn't bother me now. Trying to find Mari-kun everywhere and ends up found him in his private working room. Sitting down, looking out the window, still drinking. The moment I see him drinking alcoholic drinks in front of me, I became furious, making my way to his position really quickly.

"Stop it, Mari-kun!" I said as I took the drink away from him.
He takes out another can of alcoholic drink from a plastic bag beside him, opens it, and consumes it again.

"I SAID IT'S ENOUGH!!" I yelled as I snatched it from him again.
His response is cool, as if he doesn't care about anything else in a current state.

"STOP DRINKING! We need to end this misunderstanding!" I said as I'm tired looking at him hurting himself.

"I don't think there's anything we can talk about as it is clear already. And.. Misunderstanding? I don't think we have one. I'll say it as a fully-understood" he replied, shocking me.

"The moment you see.. it doesn't mean anything.." I tried to explain.

"Yes, it doesn't mean anything as the real thing is much more than that" he replied quick, shocking me.

"No.. It's not that way. You know how Yuu-kun acts!" I said.

"Yes, and I know how you never resist him too", he replied.

"You know I do resist, but he's too insisting", I defended.

"Yes, you do resist, but you're enjoying it as well", he replied.

"No.. I'm.. not.. I never enjoy those." I said as I ran out of idea.

"I believe in action more than words" he simply said.

"What does that supposed to mean? Don't you believe me? Aren't you supposed to believe in what your girlfriend said?" I questioned.

"Yes, I am supposed to. I believe her so much. So much that I even believe her more than myself" he said.

For a moment, silence is created. It's like both of us are thinking or waiting for someone to talk.

"I believe her too much that it's really hurt now" he started.

"I told you, it's a misunderstanding. You know you're the one!" I said in an almost giving giving up tone. I mean, I'm not really giving up, but I really ran out of idea.

"I'm sorry. Everything is so complicated now. You must be really in a happy moment with him. Supposed to inform me how the photo-shooting is, but you don't. Don't even reply any of my mails. Thought you're busy that I plan to make you something for dinner, but what I witness is your romance with him. I really think I'm damn blind these months. Knowing that your relationship is that way even before everything started, yet forcing it. Trusted you so much that I didn't even wanna questioned about this though lots of people told me before. Till today, the day that's supposed to be great, ended up great in its own way. You're not even trying to stop me from leaving or trying to explain it to me" he said out everything.

"Still have photo-shooting left" I replied.

"Is it because of photo-shooting or Yuu?" he asked.
Suddenly remembered the fact that I almost forget about shooting that moment. It's Yuu-kun who held me back. Speechless, I don't want to tell a lie.

"Guess I know your answer. It seems that I can't continue this. I'm sorry. You can just stay here tonight" he said as he walked out of the room, leaving the stunned me again.

He apologized to me as he said he can't continue this. My heart breaks. I know this is not merely his fault. As what he said, I stay in his place for the first time. But he's not here, he left, went somewhere. The messy rooms, I clean and tidy it up. All the alcoholic drinks, no matter it's empty or not, I throw it away. After finish tidying all the rooms, I sat down on a chair in the dining room, looking at the bentou he prepared for me. Open it up again, I can feel how hurt he must be. But at the same time, I'm also hurt. I'm hurt because he's hurt because of me. And also.. Hurt because he doesn't believe me any longer. Our relationship ends. Looking at the bentou. Just don't know why, tears flow down. I cry.. Realizing how much I've done.. I cried out loud in this empty home of his. No one knows and no one is here to calm me down. Unlike usual where there's always him by my side. This time, it's really only me. I don't even know how to stop myself, how to hold myself. Till the very end, I don't know how, but I fall asleep in the dining room, with my hands on the table. I must be really tired that I fall asleep. Fortunate enough for me that I have no schedule for today, otherwise I don't know how I should respond. Looking around me, nothing changes and I know he hasn't gone back yet since yesterday. Finally, I decide to go home to take a shower and maybe a proper sleep. Don't think I get enough sleep. By the time I leave his home, I saw his car is there. Come closer, peek inside, and see him sleeping, just as uncomfortably as I was. In the end, I go home without greeting him, with the fact that our relationship isn't that way any longer. He even prefers to sleep uncomfortably in the car and let me sleep in his place than letting me go home that late at night and he sleep comfortable in his home. Don't know how I should respond. Positively, as he still cares about me, or negatively, he prefers being uncomfortable other than being together with me.

Going home with the hope that he did this only because he's upset. Wishing this isn't real. Hoping again and again. Expecting the sweet him. Expecting him to come back to my side.

Reached home. After taking the unusual really long shower, planned to sleep as I'm still very tired. Tired in and out. Laying on the bed, close my eyes. It's still so clear in my mind.. The things happened between us. Wanted to sleep, but can't. My mind is fully occupied by you. Everything is about you, both of us. Standing up again, surrendered trying to sleep. That moment, my mobile rings. Hurriedly check my mobile, expecting it's you. Anything will do, don't care whether you blame me, or apologized to me, as long as it's you. By the time I see, I'm disappointed. It's a mail from Kuu-kun.. Inviting me to hang out. I accept the offer without thinking much, preparing myself as it's almost the time. Hanging out with Kuu-kun made me feel a lil bit better, since it's only both of us, so Kuu-kun drives me home.

Reaching home at night. See, the love I started to forget. Well, at least for a while, is audible again now just a little ways away. Continuing to echo all the time in the depths of my heart. The sweetly painful memories..

Right away, I got up and went to the kitchen. Hoping I wouldn't be bothered by such things anymore. Still, I want to doze off alone, as I dream of you..

Trying to sleep again and again at night, but still, I can't have a good sleep as my mind keeps repeating our memories. Unable to slip out from under the warm blanket, I'm just curling myself up.

So, the love I remembered, it's in those days that glittered bright. It's not easy for someone to fall in love with you again. There's a sound of water like pain inside me, and it's regret. The regret I have for the mess you witnessed. Your loveliness is just one drop, but this one drop contaminated everything. I've fallen for you so badly. I'll soon abandon my sleep as I can't sleep at all. When it falls to the sink, opening my eyes, I'll gaze at the ceiling, perking my ears for the sound of its splash.

See, the love I started to forget, is audible again now just a little ways away. Continuing to echo all the time in the depths of my heart. The painful memories.. Things like people's feelings, are simply incomprehensible. I'm dozing off, even now, into the remains of the love, that should've been completely plugged up.

This hard time I feel, happens everyday ever since that day. No one knows how I feel as I only keep it to myself. Putting a mask to let everyone thinks I'm fine. But in fact, I'm not fine at all. Days passes this hard, till today.. The day I met him again, with the brand new feeling compared to the last time we met each other. Today, I believe I'm going to sleep soundly. Well, at least having a quality sleep. This means a lot as I'm going out of town tomorrow. Sleeping at ease as nothing bad or no more worries occupy my mind~

Chapter 5

Some weeks have passed.. Well, unexpectedly, even months! Time flies, doesn't it? It's Christmas today, Merry Christmas! Today, I don't only feel happy because it's Christmas, but what also makes me happy is because I'm going to spend my Christmas with her. Actually, ever since that day, I've been sending her mails everyday! Don't really care whether those mails of mine are being replied or ignored. I'll just send as many as I pleased, and since I don't get any comment or complain, should I just assume that she loves it as well?! Honestly, ever since that day, that night, our relationship has gotten better. I haven't really been able to meet her since that day, I mean, in terms of having long conversation or else because of our activities. We DID meet and have a little talk, but that's only little talk, don't really hanging out together, but that doesn't matter, does it? Hanging out together in Christmas Day.. Sounds fun, doesn't it? To be honest, I asked her out in Christmas Eve, but she already has an appointment. Well, I mean, she already made promises with Kai and friends to celebrate it together. Pity me, being late. But, Christmas might be good also right? LOL.. In the end, I invited Acchan and Shiho to celebrate Christmas Eve together. We celebrate it in my house. Fortunate enough for them that they can make it. Um.. Come to think about it, Acchan definitely can make it, since her boyfriend is celebrating it with 'her'. Unexpectedly, Acchan has the same situation as I am. Pity us, LOL..

Christmas Eve is great, isn't it? Time flies. It passes so quickly, and soon it's nearly midnight. I mean, it's almost Christmas! I excuse myself, took my mobile with me. Sending text to her.

"Hello.. Merry Christmas!" I said as soon as I knew she picked the phone up, making us say 'hello' in unison.

"E.. E.. Hello, thank you. Merry Christmas to you too!" she replied me.

"Having fun with them? It took you some time to pick this phone up" I said, after asking.

"Un.." I heard in a really soft voice, some moment after I ask.

"Don't worry. I'm not mad because it took you some time to pick up this call. It's Christmas, and I'm sure everyone is also having fun. Yet, I don't even tell if I'm about to call" I said, as I can feel she's feeling uneasy.

"Ehh? Mari-kun is fine with it?" she replied, shocked.

"Haha.." I laughed. "Sorry for being too sensitive and uncontrollable that day. I should just be more considerate that time. Sor~"

"Enough Mari-kun", she interrupts me. "It's not merely your fault", she continued while I'm dumbfounded by it.

"Oh.. Oh okay.. Let's get back to our friends. They must be confused. Sorry for kidnapping you in this hour" I said, joking to her.

"Hahaha" she laughed as she sense the nonsense. "Sorry too, for making you a kidnapper" she replied after laughing, shocking me.

"Eh?! You improved, huh? That's unexpected", I teased.

"Of course I'm improving. I'm improving day by day, you know" she defended herself.

"Haha.. Alright alright.. Sorry for underestimating", I replied, in a teasing tone.

"It's okay, I'm not as sensitive as someone (laughs)" she replied as she laughs.

"Wow.. Totally improving, huh? Even teasing me back now?" I asked as I am shock.

"Sorry~", she replied playfully, in her typical style.

"Okay.. Okay.. I'm going to faint soon! I don't know if someone misses me so much and wants to talk to me that much?" I teased.

"I also don't know if someone doesn't miss me that much and doesn't wanna talk to me that much~" she replied in her typical tone.

"Oops.." I replied.. "Hands up.. White flag is up.. I give up.. Guess someone is really in a good mood, eh?" I asked.

"May~be?" she questioned back.

"May I assume that it's because of me?" I asked again.

"You're not even here~" she replied playfully.

"Okay, alright. So you're happy because of the people there?" I asked confirming.

"Um.. Yes, I'm happy because of the people 'here'. Thank you~" she replied, thanking me.

"Thank you?" I asked.

"Thank you for calling me" she said.

"Shouldn't thank me in the first place. I'm happy to call you" I replied.

"Okay, guess it's about time to go back to my dear friends?" she said.

"Ugh.. I thought somebody wanted to talk to me that badly?" I asked.

"Well, we're going to be together the whole day. Let's enjoy our moment with our friends first" she replied.

"I know.. I know.. See you, bye~!" I replied.

"Goodbye, good night! Merry Christmas!" she replied me.

"Merry Christmas~ you end the call", I told her.

As soon as she heard that, she ends the call. After she ends the call, I join Acchan and Shiho, who is already eating happily, celebrating Christmas. Not only that, they're also busy singing Christmas songs! Soon, it's quite late, I mean, early in the morning. They're also feeling tired already. I let them own the guest room, while I sleep in my own room. Just when I am about to go to sleep, I text her again.

Waking up in the morning.. Well, it's Shiho who wakes up first. After taking a shower, she prepares breakfast for us. By the time I finished showering, Shiho is just about to finish cooking for us. I don't see Acchan anywhere. Guess she's still sleeping.

"Good morning, Shiho" I greet her.

"Good morning, Mari-kun" she replied me with smile, still cooking.

"You wake up really early, huh?" I asked.

"Well, you are early as well. Look, you're still earlier than Acchan" she replied me.

"Ah.. It's not that I wake up early. It's Acchan who wakes up late" I replied, making my way to her.

"It's about to finish", she said as I came to her.

"Okay.. Thank you for cooking us breakfast" I thanked her.

"It's my pleasure~" she replied, with smile. Personally, I think she's just so happy now? I mean, she just smiled all the time~ Or is it the criteria for Miss Earth or other 'Miss'-es? 'Smile' is a must, and it's something we shouldn't take off, perhaps?!

"Let me go and wake Acchan up" I said as I make my way to the guest room, where Acchan sleeps.

"This kid.. Sleeps in a very weird position" I said to myself as I make my way to her. "Didn't take a shower, eh? Guess she's too tired?" I continued. She loves to move a lot in her sleep. As soon as I realize her shirt is revealing her body, I fix it for her. Trying to wake Acchan up. Honestly, she isn't someone easy to be waken up. After some time, Shiho who has finished preparing breakfast, joined me in the guest room, waking Acchan up, and finally she wakes up after the XXX seconds!

"Good morning~" I greet Acchan.

"Good morning, Acchan" Shiho also greets Acchan, but there's no response from Acchan.

"Good morning~" I repeated, in louder voice, as I pat on Acchan's shoulder.

"Un.. Morning~" Acchan replied, still looked so sleepy.

"Go and wash your face. Shiho has prepared breakfast for us." I told her.

"Let's have breakfast first, then you just take a shower" Shiho suggested, which made Acchan nods her head.

"We'll be waiting for you in the dining room." I said as Acchan made her way to the bathroom.

"Okay~" she replied.

"Let's go", I said as both of us made our way to the dining room.

Soon, Acchan joined us and we have a great breakfast together. After breakfast, Acchan took a shower, then I drive the 2 of them home. So, at first, since it's already morning nearly afternoon, they just wanted to go home by themselves. But, remembering since I wanna pick Haruna up as well, I decided to drive them home. Why? It's because her house is near Acchan's.. So.. Driving them home shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Soon, I've dropped both of them home, and I'm in front of her home, waiting for her. Of course, I've told her that I'm already here.

After some time, she finally appeared, and gets into my car.

"Good afternoon" I greeted as she entered.

"Good afternoon. Sorry for making you wait for me" she said, with a smile.

"Don't have to say sorry. It's the least I can do" I replied. "Shall we go now?" I asked as I still looking at her

She nods her head, giving her consent.

The really first thing we want to do is to watch movie, so we bought tickets, and watch~ She wanted to watch this movie that badly, so I just follow what she wants. We don't really talk a lot since she's really focus on it. Too focus if I could say. Soon, after the movie ends, we go to eat. Since it's not lunch time any longer, we decide just to have snack. In the end, we have Anmitsu. WE SHARE!! You know, SHARE.. S H A R E! Such a happy day~ Oh, Christmas.. I love you~

Right after we receive the Anmitsu, we took some photos of it, then enjoy it together, slowly, while we also talk about other things.

"So, were you really that happy yesterday because of me?" I started a conversation.

"Um.. What should I say?" she asked me back, typical her style.

"What do you wanna say?" I asked her again.

"What do you think?" she asked me back.

"Hm.. What do I think?" I said as I act thinking. "You know me, I'll definitely say it's because of me", I said after acting thinking.

She only laughs. "Just go with what you think", she added.

"Really? Go with what I think?" I asked confirming.

She nodded her head, "That doesn't look like a bad answer"

"Ehh?" I said as I was shock.

"Umh, Mari-kun.." she started..

"Yes? What's wrong?" I asked as I stopped eating, gives my full attention to her.

"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for being unable to take care of your feelings" she apologized.

"Ehh?" still looking at her.

"I realized, I shouldn't---" she stopped as my fingertip is on her lips already.

"Let's just stop apologizing to each other because of that. It's Christmas.. Let's erase everything and start all over" I suggested.

She nods her head.

"That's much better. Now I need you to smile." I requested.

She smiled at me. Such a relaxing smile. I love that.

"Let's finish this then have a walk~" I suggested as we started eating.

Finally, finished eating, we went to Shibuya to go shopping together. It doesn't matter if she goes shopping with a guy, especially me, does it? I mean, I'm also fashionable and I can help her choose as well. Besides that, I also own brand named Ricori. So.. Guess basically I'm fashionable enough to have my own brand I guess? So, we DID really buy some clothes. Well, why I said we, because I bought it for her. Though I don't buy my own clothes, seems that it could be said as we shopped. After shopping for clothes, we decided to buy couple things. Though we're not officially a couple yet, it seems that having couple things in advanced doesn't matter as long as we don't mind. Isn't it right? Since both of us agrees, we go and look for couple things as well. This couple thing isn't merely couple things. Both of us paid for this. It's like I pay for her thing, and she'll pay for mine. In the end, we bought 2 couple things. First, it's mobile accessory. If you ask why we chose that, then the answer is simple. It's because both of us often checks our mobile, and by having that.. We'll see that object more often. Second, it's a couple ring. A really simple ring. We promised to wear it always, and only took it off when it's really needed. Well, we can't expect that ring to stick in our finger all the time, remembering we're professional models. So we decided that we may take it off only when it's really needed.

Soon, it's already evening. We decided to have dinner. This dinner is quite special as it's not in restaurants.. This dinner is in her home, and it's Curry Rice battle! Both of us are in charge of preparing the dinner. I prepare dinner for her, and she prepares dinner for me! Haven't done this before, but it's really worth it. After some time, we finished cooking, and took a picture of it before enjoying it together. After that, we decided to spend a while in the park nearby, and there's where we witnessed the snow falling slowly. So, it's White Christmas. It really made our day. But since it's already snowing, we decided to go back. I leave her house as it's late as well. Christmas ended up really great. We have great time together.

Chapter 6

Days by days.. passed so quickly.. It has been a week! Unexpectedly, it's the last day of the year already~ The new year is ahead! Come to think about it, what great things have I done for this one year? I mean, it's going to pass soon, isn't it? Less than 24 hours to go, and it's the new year.. New book.. Seconds.. Ticks.. Tick tock tick.. They never stops, and just unexpectedly, seconds have passed! OMG.. Time is really running, doesn't it?

Today, tonight, to be exact.. I'm going to spend my moment with her. Well, honestly, just really really honestly, I want to spend it with her ONLY. I mean, only both of us. But, that can't be helped. I mean, since she has "other people" as well, I must think twice about it. In the end, I ask Kai's help to gather them around, and we'll celebrate this New Year Eve together, the 7 of us, TOGETHER. If you're wondering why should I ask Kai's help, then it's simply because I want to keep it a secret. LOL.. I really mean it. I don't plan to let everyone know that we're celebrating it together beforehand. So, in the end, the ones who know about this are only Kai and I. We decided that I'm going to handle Acchan and Shiho, while I'll let him handle my angel, Kuu, and bothersome Yuu. LOL at me showing my hatred as early as this. First of all, guess I must clarify this. Me towards Yuu. Honestly I don't think it could be said as hatred. Why? It's because I don't hate Yuu. I'm only annoyed at him. Well, make it specific. I'm annoyed by his attitude. Really.. I REALLY MEAN IT. But leave that aside, as long as he knows his position, it's going to be fine I guess.. Well, it's I guess.. Why? Because we haven't really met again since that day.

OH MY GOD. I totally forgot that this is the last day of this year, and we're going to go to the new year. New feelings, eh? It's not good to keep those negative feelings and bring it to the brand new year, is it? Seems that I must try to end this thing. I mean, this troublesome things, perhaps? Well, this thought.. I haven't discussed it with other people yet since I just remembered about it when I was about to tell you guys moments ago. Stupid me, eh?

It's still so early, but I really hope that my angel has waken up. Praying before calling her, then.. "call"..

After some time, she finally answered my call.

"Good morning, Miss Attractive" I greet as soon as she answered my call.

"Good morning too, Mr. Charming" she replied me with her soft voice.

As soon as she greets me too, silence is created as nobody talks. Somehow I'm amused by it. I mean, by the silence created.. Seems that she realized it's an awkward silence, so she started making noises..

"Yes, Miss?" I asked her.

"Um.. Why did you call early in the morning?" she asked.

"I miss you so much.. That's why I call" I simply answered.

"Mari-kun!! Stop joking please?" she begged in annoyance.

"Wow.. You know I'm just joking" I replied, shocked, but kinda happy.

"Everybody knows about it as well (laughs)" she replied, laughing. "So, what happened?" she asked after stopped laughing, sounded serious.

"Hm.. Honestly, I'm really serious about missing you, but that's not the reason I call this early." I answered. "Can we meet?" I simply ask, without bothering to give her a reason behind my request.

"Ehh? What happened?" she replied, shock. "Actually I can make it" she replied me, giving her answer.

"Okay, I'll just come to your place in a moment. See you" I said

"Fine. Drive carefully.." she said as she hung the call up.

After she hung up the call, I just took my car key right away and head Haruna's home.

Soon I reached her home. She welcomed me in, and prepared something for me to drink, while I just sat on the couch in the living room as soon as I'm there. It doesn't take much time before she came with drinks.

"Here, please enjoy" she said as she hand me the drink.

"Thank you" I replied, offered her a smile on my face.

"What happened to you?" she asked as soon as she sat beside me.

I don't bother myself to answer her question. I just took the drink, and take a sip of it. Continue thinking. She's waiting patiently and attentively, looking at me while sitting beside me. Waiting for me to speak out. I look at her for a while, causing her confused at my weird act. So, basically, it's not like I don't want to tell her. I want to tell her what's in my mind so badly, SO BADLY. But the thing is, I don't even know how to start. Guess start is the hardest point!

"You know, you're always special to me", I said as I look at her, smiling. Seems like she hasn't fully understand what's happening, or maybe I should say that she TOTALLY doesn't understand what's happening.

"Ehh? Mari-kun.. Are you drunk?" she asked worriedly, as her face becomes so close to mine, trying to check whether I got some alcoholic smell or not, while also uses her hands to touch my face, hitting it softly.

"I'm not drunk, Haruna.." I said as my hands hold her hands that are touching my face. I put our hands down, when one of our hands intertwined. "I'm serious", I continued. Looks like my seriousness confused her even more as she becomes quiet beside me. Somehow, I understand that her being quiet actually means that she's waiting for me to finish what I wanna say.

"There's something I wanna tell you" I said, pause a while, while using my hands playing with her hands.. Giving it a break, a more relaxing situation. "It's about Yuu", I continued.

"What happened to Yuu-kun?" she asked me tilting her head, still have her attention fully on me.

"I think I'm going to finish my problems with Yuu today", I replied her, turned my head, looking at her for a while.

She looked back at me. Doesn't give a comment. Perhaps her silence means that she's requesting me to state out my reason. Well, that's what my feeling tells me.

"I don't want to start a new year with something unfriendly bothering me. Especially when that bothersome thing is related to you", I continued.

Somehow, she's just smiling. That warming smile.. I can tell that she's happy listening to it. She's happy with my choice, aside from how we're going to finish those things bothering us.

"Thank you for your courage. Despite the fact who started first and who is in fault, I'm really happy that you decided to make a move", she said as she leans on my shoulder. "I'm happy that you think about me this much, that you care about me this much. Thank you" she continued, making me look at her though it's difficult for me to do so.

"Hopefully things go well" I said as I look down, somehow looked serious.

"I'll help you pray for it" she said as she smile at me. "Just do your best" she continued, supporting me in my choice.

"I'll definitely do my best. You know me.. But I'm truly sorry if I failed in doing it" I replied.

"Come on.. You can do it, Mari-kun~" she persuaded me. "Result isn't really important for me. I'm happy that you wanna try without having me asking you in the first place.." she continued, still leaning on my shoulder.

"Hm.." I think for a moment. "Thank you for the courage", I said as I paused for a while.. "and Love, perhaps?!" I continued..

"Ehh? Love?" she questioned as she moves her head, stops leaning on my shoulder.

"Yes, love.. Don't you think? Because of love, I'm able to start making this move", I give my thought, looking at her.

"Hm.. You're right. But you shouldn't forget it as well that it's also love who caused all of this mess!" she replied me, poking me on my nose.

"Oh well.. You're right. Does that mean love must clean its mess?" I asked, letting go of that serious mood and shifting to a fun one.

"Yes, love must clean its own mess", she said, agreeing in my thought, and started leaning on me again, with our hand still intertwined.

"Then.. Shouldn't we be grateful that we still have that love?" I asked her, fishing for her answer.

"Um.. What should I say.. Should I be grateful at it?" she asked me back.

"Well, do you believe me?" I asked her.

"You think? I've never doubted you. You're the one who doubted me", she replied in an annoying mood.

"Haha.." I laughed. "I'm sorry, my angel.. Sorry for doubting you" I continued as I'm the one who poke her on her nose this time.

She simply nodded. Smiling at how we are now..

"Hm.. I want that you're the first one who tells me Happy New Year", I said. "May I kidnap you again some minutes before new year?" I asked.

"Kidnapped me again? Through the phone you mean? (laughs)", she asked me, laughing.

"Well, maybe?" I answered.

"Then it means I can't fully enjoy fireworks, doesn't it?" she asked me.

"Hm.. But doesn't fireworks are more enjoyable if you're enjoying it with me?" I asked back.

"The thing is. It's through the phone and can't really enjoy it" she replied pouting.

"Does that mean you wanna meet me?" I teased her.

"Does that tease mean you don't wanna meet me?" she asked me back with almost exactly the same sentence.

"Well, I'm speechless" I replied as I laugh. I mean, I could only laugh. I got nothing else to say. My laugh led her chuckles..

"Let's create more great memories in the new year ahead" I said as we stopped laughing.

"I'm waiting for it" she replied.

Soon, after that visit and spending lunch in her home, I decided to go back home since we're going to celebrate New Year Eve together again. Well, it's because I remember that we didn't tell any of them beforehand, so it's best to keep in track, and surprise them. When it's about the time, I go and pick the girls up. Well, guess all of you have known who my girls are. Umh.. Make it more specific, minus Haruna. Why? It's definitely minus her because she's also one of those who doesn't know about spending New Year Eve together.

When Kai's click gathers, and we're also there, we met together through contact. Finally, the seven of us being together, after a long time. Guess our meetings shocked them. I mean, shocked everyone, except Kai and me.

"Kai?!" Acchan said shocked, shifting her eyes between Kai and me. She then hurriedly ran towards Kai and hugged Kai. Well, this time Kai is the one who is shocked, dumbfounded. Dumbfounded by the act of my funny little sister..

"Y-You??" Haruna said real softly looking at us, dumbfounded at us, by the time Acchan ran towards Kai. I didn't really heard what she said. I only read through her lips. I looked at her, not bothering looking at the rest members, giving her a smile.

"Hello, NyanNyan. It's been a long time", Acchan said as she smiled at Haruna.

I looked beside me, and found Shiho is just smiling, looking at them. Well, really typical Shiho style. Not bothering myself to question why she is smiling. But, my look to Shiho doesn't last long as my attention is taken by someone else.

"WHY THE HECK IS HE HERE?" Yuu asked Kai in a very loud voice, to which my attention is taken. Looking at the other side, I see Kuu, just standing there watching us. Seems that he's not on anybody's side. Nice one. I don't need him to be by my side, but him being neutral seems the best one.

"Calm down, Yuu.." Kai said as he tried to calm down his midget friend.

"HOW CAN I WHEN THERE IS THIS GUY?" Yuu complaint again.

"So, actually this is his request. He's the one suggesting we celebrate new year together" Kai said while looking at me. To which I only responded with smile.

"WHY DON'T YOU TELL US BEFOREHAND?" he asked again, so angry that he grabbed Kai's collar.. Looking at surroundings, everyone is still so dumbfounded at the scene as if they're watching drama. I mean, seriously so dramatical when best friends fight because of this.

And to my limit, I stepped forward, making my way to Kai and Yuu. As soon as I'm beside them, I grab one of Yuu's hand with my hand, making him stare at me. Can you imagine, me grabbing his hand when he dislikes me that much. LOL at my courage. Got no idea since when I AM this brave.

"Don't blame Kai. I'm the one requesting his help, and ask him to keep it a secret", I told him COOLLY.. I mean, I believe you know how cool I can be.

Yuu shifted his stare to Kai. "SO NOW YOU'RE WORKING UNDER HIS COMMAND?" he yelled again, full of anger.

I pulled his hand and make him look at me. "I HAVE TOLD YOU. THAT IS A REQUEST AND NOT A COMMAND" I said it calmly, but really clearly, slowly, a word by a word. Such tense situation. I don't think anyone could bare it. Everyone is in tense, worried. I don't wanna worry anyone, especially her. Trying to make the situation less tense, I tried to change to topic.

I let go of my hand, then suggested "Let's just get a seat and enjoy our dinner. Let's make it a happy yet memorable night. Last night in this year" I said as I looked at the rest and give them a smile on my face. As soon as I said that, I make my way to the seat, to which it is followed by the rest, ignoring Yuu. What about Kai? Kai is dragged to the seat by Acchan since he's still so dumbfounded. By the time we're choosing seats, Haruna hesitantly choose one. Standing for so long. In the end, I give her a nod when she looks at me. In the end, she's sitting beside me.

I lean closer to her, "I'm sorry for causing this mess", I apologized softly, exclusively only for her.

"Don't apologized. You don't make any mistake. Thank you for breaking the tension" she replied me.

"Thank you. Thank you for still being by my side" I said as I moved back. Some moment after that, Yuu finally joined us after being ignored. Seems like his mood is terribly bad.

Soon, we ordered food we wanna eat. While we're waiting for our order, they chat.. Well, nice chat. Everybody gets along so quickly. Well, everyone, except one person. He made his excuse, having a walk. To which, I responded with squeezing Haruna's hand for a while, then let it go. Just giving her a sign that I'm going. I followed Yuu. He's going to have a walk nearby.

"Why are you following me?" He asked me.

"I think we need to talk", I replied short.

"I'm not interested in talking to you" he replied.

"I don't really care if you're interested in it or not. All I know is we need to talk" I replied firm.

"I'm sorry for not telling you beforehand", I started as he didn't respond to me earlier.

"Nobody is asking for your telling me", he replied.

"Haruna doesn't know about it too", I continued.

"Nobody is asking for your telling us", he replied.

"I didn't tell Haruna about this surprise, but I DID tell her something", I continued.

No response, so I continue. "I told her that I'm going to finish this unfinished thing today"

"You told NyanNyan?" he asked shocked, unbelievable..

"Yes, I told her. I wanna apologized for leaving her that day. But, honestly, I do wish that you know your position as well". I continued. That words of mine made him think a while.

"I just won't give up", he replied me.

"So do I. I won't give up" I said, making him look at me in my eyes. All I could say is, he is shocked with my response.

"I still love her so much, and I'm sorry that I'm not going to give up" I told him, which made him all furious again. Doesn't take a long time till he landed a punch on my precious face with all his might, anger, and everything he has towards me, which made me fall to the ground.

"I'll take that as a punishment I received from Haruna's best friend for hurting Haruna in the past" I simply said, then I help myself to stand up. "I'll take that hit as a requirement to make our problems end" I continued. Receiving no reply again, I continued. "That's all I wanna tell you. Thank you for the time.." I paused. "Umh.. And for the hit too, perhaps.." I replied coolly, as I left him, making my way joining the rest.

Before joining them, I made my way to the restroom to check my face. Well, I just don't want it looked that bad as it worries the rest. Washing it with water, then joined them again. To my shock, when I am there, Yuu is already there. Well, I thought it took longer time for him to come back? Well, leave that aside. Nice to see him back, and having everyone's attention because of the hit. Staying cool till I sit beside Haruna again, with a smile plastered on my face.

"Mari-Kun.. What happened to your face?" asked Acchan as she saw my bruise.

"It's a small matter, Acchan. Don't worry. Just continue enjoying your moment with Kai", I replied, giving her my best smile.

After replying Acchan, I realized that Haruna looked at me for some time already. Her hand slowly makes its way to my bruise. Touching it, which made me shocked at the sudden pain.

"It must be hurt" she said softly, still touching my face.

"I told you I'm fine" I replied, giving her a smile, holds her hand that's touching my face. "I love your touch, but somehow I don't really expect you to touch me this side in this moment" I replied, chuckling.

"Guess you're really all fine as you started joking now" she said as she hit my bruise. I tell you, it really hurts! I've just taken the wrong step by kidding :smhid

"Ah~ I forgot to tell you that if you're insisting in touching this, then I'll let you touch it as much as you want to" I continued, leaving the hurt aside.

"I just won't", she replied, moving her hand from my face.

"Okay, okay, okay.. Enough of the lovey-dovey scene now. I'm all jealous" Kuu started a conversation, gaining all of our attention. "Should we start eating?" he asked. "I'm just so hungry now"

"Sure.. Just eat as much as you want, as you pleased" I replied him, which followed by nods from the rest.

"Itadakimasu~" one by one said as we started eating, enjoying the rest of the day~

After we finished enjoying the enjoyable meal enjoyably, the time is almost up. Well, I don't mean the time is up as if we ran out of time, but it's going to be new year soon. All of us are coming out of the restaurant to enjoy the fireworks nearby. And, in order to make my wish comes true, I DO kidnap Haruna moments before it. It happened that I hold Haruna's hand and just walk somewhere, separating us from them.

"So, your charming kidnapper kidnaps you again today" I started a conversation as we walked away from the group.

"Charming kidnapper?" she asked. "I never know that the one who kidnaps me is charming?" she continued, tilting her head. Typical her style.

"Are you sure?" I asked her back. "Do I kidnap the wrong person? or the person lost her memory?" I continued..

Silence.. For a moment.. "I don't know what to reply now (laughs)" she replied me, laughing.

"Finally, I felt relieved for ending this thing in time" I started a conversation, looking at the sky.

"I felt relieved that you were hit once only" she told me, which shocked me.

"What? So you have predicted I'll be hit?" I asked, pouting.

"No.. No.. It's not like that.. (laughs)" she replied.. "It's just.. Compared to be hit twice or more, once is something we should be grateful already" she continued.

"Well, I don't really care for the hit actually", I said, making her confused.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because I think I deserved this" I said, looking at her, while touching my bruise, offering her a smile.

"Stop it.. New book is ahead" she replied, giving me her smile as well.

"Let's close this book with great memories", I suggested.

"It's about the time.." she said as she looked around. Well, it REALLY is abou the time. Maybe only around 1 minute left. In that one minute.. Our hand automatically intertwined as both of us staring on the sky, waiting for the fireworks which tells us that it's the new year.

Soon, the fireworks are playing in the sky.

"Happy New Year, Haruna" I said as I looked at her.

She looks back at me, "Happy New Year to you too", offering me a smile.

"Isn't New Year more enjoyable when you watch it with me?" I asked her..

"Maybe? (laughs)" she replied me. "I never knew that you plan this all out" she continued.

"After failing to enjoy Christmas Eve together with you, I don't want to pass this Old and New without you" I said.

"So you're asking for Kai's help?" she continued.

"Yes, I ask Kai's help. I don't want you to know. It's like surprise you know.." I continued.

"Understandable.." she replied, still watching the fireworks.

"Let's create great memories now. It's the new book!" I suggested.

She only nods her head, still enjoying the fireworks.

Soon, after watching the fireworks, we joined them. So, it's not only me and Haruna who escaped from the group. But Kai and Acchan also escaped. Laugh at us. LOL.. So, we decided to go back to our home. Though Haruna and Acchan live close to each other, we managed to be selfish and drive them home. Well, I mean, we could only leave them driven home by one of us, but since we're selfish, we don't want to let it happen. Kai insists to drive Acchan home, while I also insists to drive Haruna home. So, it really ends up that way. Honestly, since it means Shiho is the only one left, and she's my best friend, I decided to drive her home. To my shock, Kuu offered to drive her home instead, saying that it's close to his home. Waiting for Shiho's consent.. Shiho agrees, so in the end, it's only Yuu who went home alone.

So, that last day of the year ends up quickly.. Really quickly if I could say.. Happy ending, perhaps? Well, I don't really care anything about Yuu any longer since I've told him everything I wanna tell, and also I've received something I regard as a punishment.

Well... that's nice for everyone except for Yuu....

This story a bit bias toward Mari....

To be honest I feel sad for Yuu... to always trying to get Haruna attention but being ignore all the time.

He thought if he's a bit aggressive... Haruna would understand his feeling and be with him...

I guess that didn't happen...

Well nice story there.... Thank you for the last 2 updates...

I hope it still continues...
