A/N: So... I don't know what I'm doing here with this fic to be honest I just wanted to see what I get in response because it seems rather dark before becoming lighted (confusing isn't it?) Well I hate to do it to people but my insensitive mind has me at this point and I hope people read/comment/thanks/suggest to go forward :nervous
Chapter 1
“Oshima-san, thank you for your participation.” The director bowed deeply to the woman who finally felt her marathon day ended with many aches running through her body.
Yuko plopped into her chair and looked up at the ceiling as her body pains were unbearable to move an inch. Her manager stood with a smile on her face holding a folder of her next event the following morning. She looked over with her eyes rolled up to get a reaction from her but it was no use. Yuko knew her manager was cutthroat despite their deep romantic relationship. She sternly looked at the performer and awoke her from her semi-sleep.
“Kojipa, let me rest! I had only three hours of sleep.” She complained as she moved her neck to the side.
“If you hadn’t played around for three hours before, we wouldn’t be tired won’t we?” The manager snapped back as she handed a stack of clothes in front of her. “Hurry up and get dressed.”
The usually hyperactive Yuko was a mass of pudding in her chair. She removed all her clothes and threw herself on the couch. The soft pillows and mattress consumed her body like a cone with ice cream. Yuko sighed with her head on the pillow and slowly going into deep darkness. However, an angry Kojipa awoke her with a slap on her behind.
“We have to get going.” She commanded staring at her client’s nude body.
“Do we have to? I really like to have my rest in the dressing room.” She smiled before placing her head on the pillow.
“No bed play time tonight.” She said with her arms crossed.
Yuko pouted at the threat and slipped on her black shirt and pants before packing her costume into a duffel bag. Kojipa reviewed her schedule as she watched Yuko pack up. It wasn’t unusual to watch her drag through the final job but it seemed to energize the idol if she knew of the prize in the end. However, Yuko was in no mood to try to exert herself back to the hotel room.
Exiting the room with her lone bag, she observed the flashing lights along the way to the car. The media had a love affair with her and keeping a smile was important and she did so with a few reservations. Yuko watched the people and forced a smile to them before bowing deeply to them. She waved once to them before entering the car. She collapsed into her seat after the door closed, dropping her bag onto the carpeted floor. Kojipa pulled her closer to let her rest on her for the time being as they pulled out of the garage.
“Okay, we only have five hours until your next appointment.” She stated as she looked at her folder. “Are we having play time tonight?”
Kojipa saw her with her eyes closed and her mouth wide open. She smiled at the cute scene and turned back to the front. The city lights were bright as ever on a cloudless night. Suddenly, a sprinkle came down on the cars in traffic. The sweeping sound of the wipers was nostalgic of her past in Saitama as they went on monthly trips. She released her hair from the tightly wounded bun and rested her arm onto the rest.
“Kojima-san, you and Oshima have been close?” The driver asked as they sat in another bottleneck.
“We were friends from a while back. When her former manager passed away two years ago, I wanted to be part of her life based on her request, so I became her manager and we stuck together for this long.” She explained with a laugh of their past in her head.
“It is good to hear that you guys keep your relationships in order.” He affirmed. “Many would hate to be pushed around by a friend.”
She began to think of the driver’s words and nodded slowly that luckily they didn’t breakup. She had two things to thank which was their intimate relationship and Yuko’s freedom in her selection of jobs. Without either one, it would be a different story for either of them but it was a pleasant thought as she saw the rain coming down.
“I’ll find a way around this.” The driver announced as he turned the wheel to the right.
He sneaked into the next lane when a car was ready to take the spot. The front wheel collapsed on the weight and the driver swerved off to the right as the top weight of the car pushed itself into a roll until it rested in the ravine. Glass was shattered in the car as the driver’s head was covered in blood and shards of glass were buried in his neck. Kojima observed Yuko curled up on top of her. She yelped as the shard seemed to be buried deeper into her back.
“KOJIMA!” Yuko yelled as she rolled off feeling the glass beneath her legs.
“I’m okay.” She breathed as blood spread toward the front.
“Let me call for an ambulance.” She panicked as bystanders were looking at the car.
She firmly pressed down on the buttons and got connected instantly. Yuko turned her attention to Kojipa.
“Haruna-chan…” She mumbled.
“Haruna? You never called me that.” The manager smiled as she saw the blood smothered on her right hand.
“Stop play around! You are injured.” Yuko cried loudly as she wiped her forehead and noticed a smudge of blood there and wiped it off with her sleeve.
Bystanders slid down the hill with their flashlights and looked at the scene as the idol took a few steps into the darkness holding her body with her arms. Minutes later, the blaring noises and colors came through the busy traffic and slid down the hill. Yuko looked into the back and saw Haruna holding the shard in her hand. The shard had done its damage as Haruna winced at the sight of Yuko.
“Yuko… there is something I want to tell you.” Haruna breathed as the rain came down like bullets.
“What is it?”
“I love you no matter what happens.” She smiled before they lifted her from the ravine.
Yuko watched her friend go into the ambulance and drove off. She climbed from the ravine back onto the freeway and took the medical assistance before seeking her friend’s condition. She flagged down a taxi and headed over to the hospital with her prayers aimed towards her. Yuko never experienced a distance between them that was unknown to each other. She felt her stomach churn and her head ache from the accident.
She arrived at the hospital soaking wet from the weather and asked for her friend’s room. Yuko ran to the room and noticed the bed empty. Her mind instantly turned to the fear and dropped to her knees as a man came up to her.
“Oshima-san?”
“Yes?”
“Kojima is in surgery.” He explained. “We forgot to tell you that she was there an hour ago.”
“Thank you.” She said and took a seat in the waiting room.
Yuko continually glanced at the clock as the cursed machine slowed it to a snail’s pace. The ticking was a constant annoyance to her. The clock was teasing her as her friend battled in the emergency. She looked up at the glowing red sign hoping it would be over but it never went dark. She cursed herself for not being there at the time and hoped to see her again.
Five hours after arriving, the light turned off and a doctor came out with a clipboard in hand. Yuko stood against the tall male and looked up like a puppy wanting to her the good news. His expression didn’t change from the stern look.
“We are sorry. We did what we could to keep her stable but it didn’t work.”
Yuko closed her hand and slammed her fists into the doctor’s chest. “WHY?”
Her tears flowed down her cheeks wanting to hear better news and saw her bed being rolled out. The workers rolled her into the room. Bandages covered her face and body as Yuko looked at her with bloodshot eyes.
“I saw a tunnel and a light at the end.” She grinned.
“Haruna-chan… please don’t leave me.” Yuko pleaded as she got a smile in return.
“Yuko-chan… I will always be here. Just keep that in mind.” She said as the nurse came with a syringe.
“I don’t want this to be good bye.” She mumbled.
“Hello Yuko, I’ll be waiting for you.” Kojima responded as the nurse injected the syringe into her system.
“Don’t leave!” Yuko yelled as her eyes slowly closed with a smile on her face.
The flat line came soon after as Yuko collapsed next to the bed. Two people in her life were gone and now to face the questions that were going to come her way. She took the taxi back to the hotel where a swarm had been formed to find her. She pushed through the crowd and wept until she got to her room where she immediately headed for the cabinet. She dumped the pills into her hand and swallowed the white caplets.
“Good bye world. Hello Haruna-chan.”

Chapter 2
Her eyes opened to the white ceiling above. The smell of cookies filled the room. Yuko smiled as the pain was far from her. She turned her head to the left and felt a sudden churning in her stomach.
"Kuso~ I’m not in heaven." Yuko groaned as a short nurse with short, brownish hair entered with a tray of food.
"Ohayou Idol-sama." The nurse greeted with a grin on her face.
"Idol-sama?" Yuko pondered. "What about you? Midget?"
The nurse tilted her head back scoffing at the remark as another nurse with shoulder-length black hair walked in a bag of saline. She smiled at the patient before walking up to the side of the bed.
"I'm Takahashi and she is Maeda." The shorter of the two introduced them.
Yuko waved at the two slowly as the fog in her head was overcoming her thinking. She remembered the ceiling of the room she was in before closing her eyes. The light seemed near enough to let herself go into next frontier.
"Does it mean I survived the overdose?" Yuko asked as she sat up to view her food.
"Yes by a miracle." Maeda responded. "Someone had followed you into the room."
Yuko tilted her head. Fans were rarely unruly but it has happened on occasion. She scooped out a portion of the rice and placed it in the mouth. The dry texture reminded her of a person's cooking.
"Idol-sama, the food here isn't that terrible." Takahashi moaned as Yuko grabbed the bowl of soup to wash the grains down.
"It isn't that it is horrible but just...."
"Your friend's cooking?" Maeda finished as the idol grinned.
Yuko nodded as she stared into the half-empty bowl of murky soup. Years had seemed to pass as she looked around her room. The cold, unfiltered air made her skin rough and the overcast weather outside her window didn’t help to erase the memory of that night.
“Do you know the person who saved me?” Yuko asked with a raspy voice.
“The name was Sashihara Rino.” Maeda reported. “She was in the room across of yours with a friend when she heard a sound and the door was open to see you on the ground.”
“I see.” She sighed.
“Takahashi, can you please go seek the person assigned to her?” Maeda asked.
The shorter nurse exited the room leaving the two alone. Yuko gazed at the abstract picture near the door and it formed a familiar sight to her. Pushing the tray forward, she punched the bed a few times before sliding back under her sheets holding back the tears within her.
“It must be hard to lose a friend…” Maeda rubbed the back of the idol. “I don’t blame you for feeling this way.”
“How would you know?” She shouted.
Maeda forced a smile to her. “A close friend died of cancer when I was seven. We were inseparable since we were three and I had promised her that I would be a nurse when she learned of her illness. I worked hard because of her and the days I wanted to give up, those were hard but her tiny voice always pushed me through. The day I earned my license was the best day. Her family was there with her picture and I broke down as I received it. I know you feel frustrated but what would she say if she saw you this way?”
Yuko felt her heart stop for a brief moment. Her words were like daggers. She was right. Pity never came to her. No one liked pity especially Haruna when Yuko had a bad day. Yuko knew she wasn’t the sharpest blade but she had guts to tear into her friend. It was a strong bond that they held that made Haruna enforce such tough love to her.
She glanced over at Maeda and tilted her head forward. “Sorry for that outburst.”
“Don’t worry. I think you need to understand that everyone is out there supporting you.” Maeda comforted her as a tall woman entered into the room.
“Oshima Yuko, I’m Akimoto Sayaka, a coach to help you overcome your friend’s death.” She introduced. “Kojima Haruna was a friend of mines so I’m mourning her death too.”
“I see.” Yuko breathed.
“Maeda, you can go now.” Akimoto instructed as the nurse bowed out of the room.
The nurse closed the door leaving the two in the room. Sayaka took her seat by the side of the bed as she grabbed the notepad on the table and turned her attention towards Yuko.
“How do you feel?” She asked with a casual tone.
“I don’t know.” She answered with a shrug of her shoulders. “I miss her dearly.”
“Honest answer.” Sayaka commented as she wrote down her thoughts. “Do you think you will ever love anyone else again?”
Yuko’s eyes widened as she heard the question. She felt that she couldn’t but she knew she was fickle about love. Haruna knew that a lot especially with her perverse side. Anything in her grasp she touched, it was common fact to everyone but in that deep, untouchable place she held in her heart. That would never seem to leave when she saw her in the morning with the angry pout or in bed with her body covered by the sheets. Yuko had every level to consider and then Haruna’s spirit haunting her if she said anything was in consideration.
“I’m not sure of that either. Haruna and I were bonded like handcuffed to each other.” She responded as a burning in her chest was ready to consume her.
“I guess that is also normal too…” She agreed.
“The only thing on my mind is actually how long have I been in the hospital?” Yuko inquired as Akimoto glanced at her watch.
“Two days.”
Yuko sat up in her bed and then threw her legs over the side of the bed. Seeing her gown, she smiled it was a relief from the clothes. She saw the seat next Sayaka and jumped off the bed onto the cold floor below. Yuko held her body with her arms as she anxiously walked over and took a seat.
“What is your purpose?” Yuko directed her question towards her.
“I’m here to get you back into the real world before the tabloids tear you again.” She clued her into the problem that was out there.
“Again? When was the first time?”
Sayaka looked into her bag and revealed an article a few years ago about a meeting with a former male co-star. The information seemed foreign to her knowledge but she remembered it well. The male was a pompous idiot who only wanted to sleep with Haruna as she thought about it. Yuko felt alone for most of the meeting but Haruna had stepped out for a moment to avoid the situation brewing and as Yuko was looking for her, a picture flash came from the bushes. She ran back inside to find his agent on the phone with the company. The deal fell apart after the situation and he blamed Yuko for dropping the ball. The movie flopped because of the scandal and the damage control was done with the unsuccessful premiere of the movie.
“It was a tough situation because he wanted Haruna to sleep with him.” Yuko explained.
“I know. She isn’t that dumb to see when she was taken advantage of.”
“Now we are trying to keep this secret from coming out. Sashihara and friend have agreed to stay quiet because she knew that you were close with Haruna. However, that may not hold over for long so you need to perform in a week at the solo concert that Haruna had set up for you.”
Yuko quickly nodded as Sayaka wrapped her papers up and headed for the door. “The nurses will take you to our next location.”
Yuko saw the two nurses walk in and removed all the medical equipment from her body. She was placed into the wheelchair and rolled down the hallway to a dark room. The lights were turned on and a place with white walls surrounded her. Sayaka entered from behind her and rolled her into the next room where she saw a female with long, black hair sitting on the other side of the room.
She stared at her as Sayaka walked over to the other side and awoke the female from her nap. Groggy, she moved the hand away from her and rolled over to Yuko. Her face pale white, smiled at Yuko and reached out for her hand.
“You remember me right?” She asked in a soft tone.
“Sorry, I don’t.” Yuko replied.
“I see.” She commented as she pulled aside of the idol. “We had that one night in Nagoya…”
The voice suddenly brought up the image of that night in her head. The storm had forced everyone to huddle in the room. Haruna had just left and Yuko was in her usual drinking moods. She reached out and felt something firm in her hands. Without thinking, she forced herself on top of her. Yuko knew something was wrong as she awoke the next morning next to an unknown person.
“Matsui Rena-san.” Yuko thought.
“Yes, the only one night fling you never told Haruna about.” She replied to the shock of the coach.

I guess the assumption was with the majority but it had to start somehow but I thought about it but it would seem weird to have her conveniently there XD

Well it gets a little more muddier with the KojiYuu relationship but it flashes back a lot in the story because of the depth. So it isn't one-sided...
Chapter 3
One dark drunken night in Nagoya. The only occasion where Haruna had no clue what had happened.
Yuko remembered that feeling in her hand. It was different. The feeling of no guilt ran through her mind. Haruna just admitted her fling with another woman from the bar. Jealous of the manager's misadventure, she laid in bed consumed with liquor.
The lights above flickered like a firefly in the summer. Yuko noticed the other body asleep from drinking. Her scent, a combination of alcohol and body wash, consumed the idol's mind.
Justifying the act was never in mind while sober but with the evil within her, she saw the opportunity and the light gave up to the nature and she leaned over to start.
Her lips smooth, covered with residual alcohol. Yuko continued on her venture. She removed the clothing off her body, nursing the chest, manipulating her body, and finishing with an embrace. Yuko knew the dirty deed was done.
"Kojima-san would have been pissed if she heard about it." Sayaka informed with a soft voice.
"She wasn't all that truthful either. The fashion model loved to have her over." Yuko responded as Rena walked to their side of the room.
"My condolences for your loss." Rena said softly.
"Are you telling me Shinoda was involved in this?"
Yuko nodded as Rena took her seat next to her. The idol stared up at the ceiling as the picture of her intruded her mind.
Tall, skinny, and much older than both of them was the reminder of her. Shinoda Mariko knew the deceased from hanging around the cafe before getting discovered. She served the manager on occasion and got to learn about her occupation. Haruna raved about her and how much she had accomplished over the time she got to know her.
Leading to the first encounter in bed, Yuko knew what she had to face but she had a party with the producer leaving Haruna alone in the room. The next morning Haruna was in the room naked under the sheets as Yuko meandered in with the liquor in her system.
She jumped into bed without a single thought and slept it off but the evidence of cheating was under the drunken idol's pillow and awoke with the scent in her mind.
Haruna arose from the bed with a smile as Yuko slept through the day. It wasn't unusual for her to venture over to Mariko's apartment and sleep over during vacations.
However, Yuko didn't mind unless she had her opportunities but rarely did so with her performing sister to admire her butt. The cheating didn't end until the reason was given.
"We would never have gone this far without me"
Yuko realized Haruna was doing this for the sake of them. Deeply she was hurt but understood why she did that.
"Yuko, did you ever love me?" Rena asked with a smile.
"No... but...." She stuttered. "I didn't mean to do it."
Rena nodded her head before moving her chair a body's length away. She looked at her hand and traced a Y in her hand.
Rena forced a smile towards the idol and suddenly looked up at the sunlight-colored lights. Nagoya brought a bit of intrigue to her life. She enjoyed her hometown but always wanted to leave. However, life presented obstacles.
First, she was a developed young woman with correct etiquette. Nicknamed "Princess of Nagoya," she treated people with the utmost respect. However, there was another side to her no one had seen.
Second year of high school, she befriended a girl during a campus visit. She was sweet and friendly with a melon pan addiction. Known as Kana, she lived in an apartment a block away and had seen her on occasion after school as they walked home together.
One night the image was compromised with a group of boys surrounding her. Rena ran over to see the situation and heard about the ring with her friend and her brother. Rena exposed it and had the group after her for a few months until Rena unleashed her alternate personality sending the group to the hospital.
After the incident, she ran away to a hostel where she was hiding out before that night. She had decided to not purge Yuko and met her last girlfriend.
Kashiwagi Yuki was deep in debt and possessed a pipe. Selling and using drugs was her life after dropping out. Rena was sold around for income while she was blinded by love. Escaping the grasps, she was admitted to the hospital for injuries and mental tests.
"Matsui-san, why didn't you sell out Yuko?" Sayaka curiously asked.
Rena glanced at Yuko before turning her attention to Sayaka again. "I always thought Yuko had feelings compared to the alcohol-driven lust fest we had that night."
Sayaka knew Yuko enough to see her guilt. She may be wild but within her she had self-control. Questions came up quickly as the coach stood up to face the two.
"Now we have that out of the way, we can figure out where we can go from here." Sayaka stated with the two pairs of eyes looking at her.
"Rena... I must apologize for that. If I had it done it differently, I would have considered your feelings." Yuko confessed as Rena formed a smile.
"You aren't a bad person. I wouldn't blame you for that one night. However, you are in mourning so I'll consider what I shall do." Rena explained as Sayaka snapped her fingers.
"I have an idea." She shouted.
"What is it?" Yuko looked at her strangely.
"Why not try one outing?"
Yuko felt her throat gone dry. She had no words to explain the betrayal. However, Sayaka had a point to show Rena wasn't just a one night stand. She looked at her and grinned at the idea. Rena tilted her head to the side and nodded hesitantly.
“Are you sure you would be okay with it?” Rena asked.
“I have a trip to attend to first before I can accept this. I’ll be discharged tomorrow to go to Saitama and be on my way to practice for the next performance.” Yuko addressed. “I don’t know if I can be okay to do this.”
“It is hard but she can be a partner for support as I wanted to get at but since you knew each other… I don’t have to play the whole charade of getting to know each other.” Sayaka smiled as she looked at the clock.
Yuko was wheeled back to her room to get her rest while Rena stayed with Sayaka. She stood up and faced the wall with her hand balled up. She threw a straight right into the plastered wall. Rena stared at her fist with red streaks running down from it. Tears escaped from her eyes as she looked at the coach.
“I didn’t expect her to be here.” She said in a soft voice.
“Rena, don’t blame you for this. Yuko is a great person. She should have been truthful in the beginning.” Sayaka protected her friend.
“Was Haruna a beautiful person?”
Sayaka reached into her bag and showed her a picture. Rena grabbed it in her hand and began to point out the features in her mind. It was a hard decision to be chosen over her but having little self-confidence was a major flaw within her. She didn’t push to become beautiful. She was attractive but was conceded to the people around her. Yuko was the first one to touch her sensually and her mastery brought a new front to her personality before her down fall with Yuki.
“She is very attractive.” Rena commented.
“It hurts her more that she didn’t tell her about you. You must have secrets that you didn’t tell people.”
“I do. However, no one would ask what they are and I blame myself for not being vulnerable at times.” Rena glanced at Sayaka as she held up her bloodied fist.
Rena returned to her room to a person with a black hoodie. She removed the hood revealing her long, black hair. She knew she would return one day but seeing her was a bad memory she wanted to erase. However, her face was slim as it was before and the scratches disappeared from her body. Turning on the light, Rena froze in place as she came forward.
“Long time no see.” She called.
“Yuki… what are you doing here?”
“I wanted to see you again.” She replied with a smile.
“You are only going to sell me around until I passed out again. I never forgave you for all those times.” Rena scolded her as she took a seat.
“At least, they had protection. I wasn’t lucky.” She mumbled as she held her midsection.
“You’re…?”
Yuki nodded as Rena ran over her bare midsection. A slight protrusion was felt by her as she grabbed her druggy’s body.
“I don’t love you anymore but I wish you luck.” Rena whispered to her ear.
“I’ll be out of your life. I will never forget you.” Yuki smiled as she walked out of the room.

Eh.. Haruna also cheating on Yuko with Mariko...
That was why Yuko became drunk and had that one night stand...
'Two wrongs don't make them right...'
Well in mathematics is correct but in real life action is wrong...
OMG.. Rena had such a rough past... even more garbage than Yuko...
At least she was able to walk away from that kind of life...
But Poor Yuki, she got what she deserved I guess....
Hope there was someone that try to help Yuki get back to her feet.
Can't wait to see more how Rena and Yuko get together?
Thank you for the update

Nod nod.. I see that's the reason why Yuko and Rena had a one-night stand and because of Haruna's affair that led Yuko did such thing..
Rena such a nice preson even though her past was very miserable and she still have open mind to understand life. Very admirable :D
And Yuki she's... Wow! :shocked Good luck Yuki hope you meet a someone to be with you and love you for who you are. :thumbsup
Ahhh! Now.. What will happen next? Can't wait for YukoRena interaction! :thumbsup
Thank you for the update  :thumbsup :twothumbs

Yeah not exactly the best thing Yuko has done and it seems to carry on as she regrets not telling Haruna about the affair. However, I guess it takes a bit of time to get my main characters to come together
A/N: I really don't like forcing the characters together but to make it seamless might take a bit and this chapter doesn't help the YukoRena as much as Yuko realizing her faults with Haruna (like the previous chapter) without the constant flashbacks
Chapter 3
A few days had passed and Yuko was discharged. Weakened by her injuries, she found herself depressed that the person who stood by her side was gone. The voice seemed to be a dream.
"Oshima-san, take the rest of the day off." The dance instructor pleaded as Yuko fell to the floor as a puddle of her former self.
Instead of home, she returned to the hospital in a heavy coat and sunglasses. She bypassed the receptionist and came across Sayaka while she was working with another patient.
"Yuko-chan! What are you doing here?" Rena shrieked looking at the idol with wide eyes.
"I couldn't stay focused while at dance practice." She explained as she took off her disguise.
“I see. Sayaka is allowing me to be discharged tomorrow to live with her.” She informed the idol.
“That’s great news but in a few days we are supposed to be hanging out together but I don’t know you that well.”
Rena smiled as she handed over a booklet to the idol.
“I know it seems much but Sayaka has told me about you so I offered to explain about me when we get to the media.” Rena explained as she reached back to adjust her pillow.
“Thank you!”
Yuko stood up and shut the curtains and door to the room. She sat back in her chair to look over the cheat sheet into Rena’s life. It was a simplified version of what people would usually assume and avoiding her past was a strong point to let the media to not dig too far into Yuko’s new friend. After a few passes, Yuko folded up the paper and stuck it into her pocket.
“Are you leaving?” Rena asked.
“I need to return home.”
“I’ll see you later.” Rena waved as Yuko put her disguise back on.
“I’ll make it up to you for that one night. I’m not a celebrity to forget a promise.” Yuko smiled as she opened the door to the coach.
“She is quite stable for a person.” Sayaka began looking away from the room. “Can you keep a promise to not break her heart again?”
“I promised Haruna that we wouldn’t break up no matter what.” Yuko stated as she headed for the exit.
“Rena will understand if you don’t keep it.” Sayaka pleaded.
“I won’t kill her spirit. I never wanted to have my way around Haruna because of Shinoda-san. But, she begged me to have a free pass. So, I took it without saying that I did use it and now she is gone.” Yuko choked up toward the end as she rushed out to prevent exposing herself.
As she arrived home, there was a lone photographer in the bushes. Yuko knew the media would be around at any time of day but behind the sunglasses her eyes were dried out from frustration. She pushed through the gate and headed into the dark overhead into the lobby. Yuko walked up to the elevator and pressed the button for the car.
“How are you holding up?” A voice came from behind her.
“Not so good.” Yuko replied as they entered into the elevator.
“Well I hope for the best.” She smiled as they pressed their respective floors.
“Tomochin, if I remember correctly?”
“Yes, what is it?” She responded with a toothy grin.
“Thanks for your concern.”
“No problem. I don’t know the pain of losing someone important but I burned too many bridges to feel lonely sometimes.” She explained.
“I heard many stories but you always kept one person close, didn’t you?” Yuko sighed.
“Yes, kept me upright and sharp. She is a great person to talk to.”
The door rang and Yuko stepped out waving to her before the door closed. She walked over to the apartment with her stuff overflowing about their concerns. She was glad for the support but it didn’t seem right as she was ready to end her life. She kept the thought of being dead but there was a reason behind the chaos of keeping her alive. Then, she remembered a story about a person being changed because of a death.
Yuko opened the apartment and opened a newspaper clipping from a few years back after her debut. It had mention about a change that made a person rich. He was married to a woman who cared for him but was stricken with cancer. It had changed her into a bitter woman only wanting money and eventually she died off. In looking for support, he found another woman who was a communication graduate from Todai. She had helped him develop an image that would promote his item. The item became a success and forced him to retire in style. That story always brought up the idea that anything can change with struggles and furthering success.
She stared at the picture with thoughts of how she could reinvent herself from the mold Haruna had created for her. First, she needed a new manager. Looking through the contacts that Haruna had kept in her notebook and a name popped up that would sign her. She punched in the number and waited for the pickup. Her tension had risen until she heard a click.
“Hello, Miyazawa’s office. How may I help you?”
“Can I speak to Sae? This is Oshima Yuko.”
The idol heard a giggle before she was transferred. She waited a second before she heard another voice.
“Hey! What can I help you with?”
“I need representation.” Yuko requested.
“What is the payout?” Sae asked.
“40% of the revenue.”
“Hmm, that is a hard bargain to refuse but you may want to consider the fees on my part…” Sae insisted as Yuko gritted her teeth.
“You are only working with me after the solo concert so it is up to you on what you can make out of it.” Yuko explained giving Sae an interesting idea.
“Okay, you drive a hard deal and if you need me to become your manager, I’ll be on loan for six months.”
“Thank you.”
Yuko looked up at the ceiling and thanked the opportunity to get her. Then, she noticed the envelope addressed to her on the table. She opened it and stared at the invitation. Yuko knew the day would come to honor her friend but seeing her face again reopened the scar. Three days she had to be there to honor her and only to realize that it seemed too soon to let her go.
Her phone rang again and she saw the name and answered it.
“Hello… Oshima-san?”
“Watanabe-san, how are you doing?”
“I would ask the same thing but I have to attend a function soon and my girlfriend is not home yet. Do you want to come with me instead?” She asked as Yuko rolled her eyes.
“Sorry, I can’t.” She answered.
“I see. I’m sorry for your loss.” She hung up soon after.
Yuko walked up to her door and locked it for safety. She dragged herself to the couch seeing the fan mail to the side and closed her eyes.
“What are you doing?”
“Nyan, I miss you a lot.”
“You are trying hard to move on. I’m trying to do the same.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Yuko-chan, you look incredible when you cry. Cry for me.”
“I can’t cry for you. I’ll miss you every time I cry.”
“It is okay to cry. I let out my frustrations when you weren’t around or the times where you overwhelm me. Just tell me that you love me.”
“I love you. I miss you. I want to be with you.”
Yuko awoke immediately as she felt the cushion near her face. She released her tears into the material and began to remember her words again from the dream. It was a relief that she could let out the frustrations out into the world. She looked up at the time and shook her head. Yuko stood up and practiced the dance moves and worked with the music from her phone.
Yuko stopped the music and looked up at the clock. She paced over to the bathroom to wash her face and saw the night lights of the city through her window. The beautiful night with the clear skies and the lights were perfect for a date but she immediately stopped and looked at the invitation again. Her tears stuck to her eyes as she saw her again.
Why did you leave me?

That is the whole purpose for the fic which does make it seem like shit will happen along the way. It is who is going to give in first. Yuko's love for the past or Rena's love for the future
Chapter 5
Yuko awoke to load of mail in front of her. Mornings never was a great time then again she rarely saw the sun during most of the day.
She tumbled off the bed onto the cold floor. The sunlight peeked through the beige curtains as she began to think about her agenda for the day.
Dance lessons and vocal workouts for the morning, lunch as usual before another set of practice before heading off for the day. Seemed routine but the memory haunted her.
She stepped into shower to awaken her spirit with the shards of water bouncing off her. She thought a river would flow but it dried quickly. Finishing without a bath, she changed into fresh clothes and headed outside.
In the lobby, Yuko stared at the visitor. A sight for her shattered heart, she stood erect towards her. Perfume lingered in her nose as she caught eye contact.
"Hello again."
.............................
Rena gathered up her items and placed them in a silver bag.
"Good morning." Sayaka greeted the former patient as she handed her a set of keys.
"Thank you for helping me." Rena bowed deeply as she left her room.
Rena entered into the cab and rode until she got to a small, white two story house. She pushed the key into the lock and heard a pop before opening the door. Peeking inside, she imagined a bright interior but it was plain with wood-like colors.
She walked to the room that had an open door and dropped off her luggage from the hospital. She glanced around the area feeling the slight breeze blowing through her hair. The smell of flowers entered her nose as she jumped onto the bed near the window. Rena closed her eyes in trying to rid of the dream scenario she was in although pinching herself in the process.
“Hmm, I wonder what I can eat while she is away…” She thought as the doorbell rang.
Rena ran up to door and answered it. A tall, slender female stood with a hot metal container. She placed it down on the pavement and handed over a styrofoam container over to her. She pushed her short hair back and flashed a smile before walking over to the bicycle.
“Excuse me, who is this for?” Rena asked as the female turned around.
“A Matsui Rena.” She answered.
“How do you know I’m Matsui Rena?”
“Akimoto-san is my neighbor and she allows her discharged patients to stay over until they get back on their feet. I assume if it isn’t her, it is the patient.” She explained. “I must admit you are the cutest patient she had allowed to stay over.”
Rena blushed at the comment as she brought in the hot meal. She looked inside the cover and noticed a scribbled number at the top. She wrote it down thinking it could be a service and walked over to the kitchen for a utensil. Rena realized many of the cabinets were locked with a keyhole and the only one that wasn’t locked was the wooden and disposable utensils in which she grabbed it and walked over to the table. The steaming food made her mouth water and picked it up for the first time. The noodles were glazed with the savory sauce as she mixed it around before placing the first bite into her mouth.
Munching on the softened noodles, she smiled at the pleasure of hot food. It was her first real meal in three years as she began to ponder over the delivery woman for a bit and then looked under the container where a newspaper mentioned Yuko. She rarely liked celebrity news but it seemed to interest her with the announcement of her discharge.
Reading through it, it felt like a person tightened a wrench around her stomach. She dropped the paper and looked over at the food. It seemed great up till reading the news. Now it seemed like a hot plop in a simple container. She pushed it away and read more into Yuko’s celebrity life. The twists of her past made Rena nauseous and she dropped the paper to the floor.
She picked it up and placed back on the table neatly creased next to the greasy food. She closed the cover before heading toward the couch. Her head pressed against the cushion as she saw the awards of the doctor across the mantle. Rena was amused by the amount she had acquired at such a young age. She began to think about her life and cursed herself for getting into trouble.
“Matsui-san, are you here?” The voice called as Rena arose from the couch.
“Yes, Akimoto-sensei.” Rena replied as she walked toward the table.
“Did you eat?”
Rena nodded as she lifted the cover to see the barely eaten food on the table. Sayaka put the container back into the bag and placed it in the refrigerator.
“Akimoto-sensei… Who was the woman who dropped off my food?” Rena asked with her wide eyes glaring back at her.
“That’s Jurina. She is a deliverer for the caterer within the village.” She explained. “She used to be mischievous before she had this job.”
“She looks cute.” Rena commented with a smile.
“Well I helped her become responsible when she was a troubled teenager. So, she may be a good influence on you.” Sayaka smiled as she wrapped an apron around her waist and took out the vegetables from the refrigerator.
“May I help?” Rena asked.
“Sure, but you’ll have to be careful of the sharp knives.” She warned as she stood by her side and cut the vegetables to bite-size pieces.
--------------
“What do you want?” Yuko asked as she crossed her arms towards the woman.
“I wanted to send my condolences to your friend and lover.” She explained removing her hat revealing her short, amber hair.
“Mariko-san, thanks but you need to leave.” Yuko breathed.
“Take the flowers.” She commanded in a sweet tone.
“Leave it in there.” Yuko pointed towards the trash can.
“You are still angry about her affair.” Mariko grunted.
“Wouldn’t you be?” Yuko shouted back before a pair of hands grabbed her away from the situation.
Yuko turned and saw the blonde woman smiled back at her. Mariko threw the flowers into the bench and marched out of the lobby. Itano grabbed her friend’s wrists and pulled her back away from the model.
“It isn’t worth the trouble.” She whispered as her breathing slowed to a normal pace.
“Why did she have to come here?” Yuko cried crumbling to the floor below.
Itano knew the clear glass would be an opening for paparazzi and she dragged her over to the emergency exit. The cold cement was guarded off by the fearless humans only trying to get a scoop. Fearing the worst, Itano called her driver and requested for a special drop off for her. Yuko forced a smile for the deed but within her she was fuming over her appearance.
Once inside, Yuko was off to practice and was guarded by everyone to not reveal her true intentions. Sheltered was usually her life but she couldn’t fear the media and tried to entertain them once in a while to Haruna’s discontent. She could only be a child once and used that opportunity to be childish with her celebrity friends. She rubbed with many of them to develop a contagious disease but kept her playful ability to lift the room but now it seemed like a memory to her.
“Oshima! Concentrate!”
She stared at the teacher and pushed herself to the limit before hitting the floor in exhaustion. The energy seemed to rush out of her quickly as she drank her water on the floor laboring to breathe.
“We’re done for the day.” She announced as Yuko rose into a seating position.
She walked across the hallway to the sounding booth where she ran through her set list for her concert and worked on choreography for the concert. Once she saw the clock, she had to call for a lunch break for everyone which usually gave her time to express her concerns. Yuko rarely had time to eat food and decidedly snacked within discussions giving her time to digest the feedback.
However, today she called for a lunch break and a bento. She sat in the corner staring at the window with her chopsticks resting in her hand. Yuko began to feel the scar opening up again and tried to close it before it was too late.
“Oshima-san!”
“Sae-chan, welcome to the team!” Yuko forced a smile as she bowed to her new manager.
“Seems productive so far… I can’t wait for what will happen a few days from now.” Sae said looking around the room.
“I can’t wait either. I wish all the luck for our future.” Yuko bowed before returning to her cool box of lunch.
She couldn’t stand the food and decided to head back into the dance studio to work on her movements. She faced the mirror pounding the wooden floor and smirked at her perfection until her legs felt rubbery. She dragged herself back to run through her set list. It was the continuous process that drove her to perfection until she sat in her chair covered in sweat.
“Yuko-chan, we have a visitor.” The guard announced as a woman walked past the guard.
“Sayaka! What are you doing here?” Yuko asked.
“Well I was thinking of holding a party at my house for Rena. Would you mind coming?” Sayaka asked.
“I’ll be there but no one can track us.” Yuko explained.
“There is a foolproof way.” The coach smiled as she was dragged away from work and settled into the car.

Chapter 6
Sayaka had parked in the hidden area of the lot. She was advised once to escort another celebrity out of the building and into her office at the hospital. Yuko stood outside the elevator looking for the vehicle and noticed the dark tinting on the windows. The car drove up and stopped in front of her. Yuko didn’t mumble a word as she entered into the front seat.
She closed the door and headed out to the back exit where nobody was standing because it was blocked off by the gate. Sayaka took the long route out of the city and drove into the back roads. The idol smiled as nobody had followed them out into the open. Yuko sat there quietly as they headed into the secluded area behind the dense tress.
“I’m surprised no one has followed us.” Yuko commented as she looked at the greenery around them.
“Thank you.” She smiled as they sped up to the dirt road.
Sayaka revved up the engine and drove uphill until they reached a house at the first plateau. Yuko was surprised such a nice house was in the forest. She grabbed her bag and walked into the house where the other guest was sitting on the table with a pastry in hand and a teapot.
“Tadaima!” Rena greeted with a bow.
“Okaeri~” Sayaka shouted back as Yuko dropped her bag and walked over to the table.
“Is that a melon pan?” Yuko asked as Rena took another bite from the pastry.
“Yes.” Rena replied as she chewed on the bread.
“Just wondering…” She paused as she looked over at the coach. “Can I take a shower?”
Sayaka nodded as she showed her the bathroom in the hallway. She grabbed the bag and threw it into the bathroom. Yuko gripped her shirt holding it over her head before cautiously walked into the bathroom before undressing. She felt the cold air hit her skin and took deep breaths before walking into the shower.
“Did you shower while I was away?” Sayaka asked as the woman shook her head.
“Sigh… well you can decide when you want to shower. Just wait until Yuko is done.” She informed Rena with her eyes on the pot of boiling vegetables.
“Why did you pick Yuko up?” Rena spoke out her concern.
“Well I thought it would be nice to have a meal together rather than you and me. I should have asked but…”
“Don’t worry about it.” Rena waved her hand as she consumed the last piece of melon pan.
Yuko suddenly stepped out with a towel wrapped around her head and body. Rena looked and flashed a smile before running to her room to grab her clothes. The idol took a seat at the table with hot tea in front of her. She poured out a cup and stared at the clear, light green liquid.
“It smells really good.” Yuko complimented.
“Thanks! We thought it be best to have a home cooked meal to welcome Rena.”
“That sounds great.” Yuko commented as she unraveled the towel from her head letting down the long brown hair.
She began to smell the room perfume with the food but she suddenly remembered that she forgot to take out her change of clothes from the bathroom and ran inside. The fog expanded outwards creating limited visibility in front of her. She took a few steps forward and felt an immense pain running from her foot. Yuko bit down on her bottom lip and picked the bag up from the floor.
“Yuko-chan… Are you out there?” The voice crept up to her like fly landing on her shoulder.
“Yes it is me.” She confessed with the bag in hand.
“When is your trip to Saitama?” She asked suddenly remembering that tomorrow she had to be there for the funeral.
“I’m leaving tomorrow morning.” She announced as the idol closed the door behind her.
The sudden memory of the emergency trip drew a weird situation as she was miles away from her apartment and hadn’t packed up for a day trip. She went into the open room and changed into her street clothes before walking up to Sayaka.
“Is something a matter?”
“I forgot I have a trip to Saitama for the funeral.” Yuko said with a shrewd grin.
“Ahh… after dinner we can head to your apartment.” She instructed as Yuko took a seat at the table.
Rena walked out in a shirt and shorts as Sayaka placed the bowl of stewed vegetables in front of each of them with a bowl of rice. The two sat across each as the coach took the seat beside both of them. They held their chopsticks up to say a prayer before breaking them for the meal.
“Are you planning to come back to sleep over?” Rena glanced at the idol as she took a piece of the vegetables and pressed into it.
“I guess so, the airport is near here and I only need to pack clothes for the funeral.” Yuko thought as she placed the warm piece between the cheek and her teeth.
“That would be wonderful but Yuko…” Sayaka could see the slight uncomfortability but she managed to mask it quickly.
“I don’t mind. Rena and I are adults and nothing should be in the way.” She explained before swallowing down her food.
Rena was methodical in her eating taking piece by piece and chewing on the soft piece for a long period before swallowing it whole. She pressed her lips together keeping her silence while the other two were busily eating to go on their trip. Sayaka and Yuko finished at the same time as Rena retired from eating anymore and left the dishes in the sink.
“Rena, do you want to come with us?” Sayaka asked as she grabbed her keys. “You’ll end up alone in this house.”
“Sure.” She answered hesitantly as the idol took the backseat with her workout bag.
Rena stepped into the passenger side but Sayaka threw her keys onto there and forced her into the back. Holding back a smile, Sayaka started up the car and drove out of the forest into the city. Rena’s eyes lit up with the big buildings and the thousands of people populating the area. Like a puppy, she was excited to see the city with her mind clear of the dangers. However, she looked over at Yuko and reached out for her hand.
“Do you not like the lights?” She asked with a pout.
“I’m used to the lights but right now I’m thinking about Haruna.” Yuko sighed.
“I see… Do you want to confess your relationship with me?” Rena cracked as Yuko had her face in her hands.
“Sorry… I just cannot face her right now.”
Rena wrapped her arms around the idol holding her head near her chest. She didn’t know why but she felt something warm within her and released her concerns. Yuko broke away and looked at her with the pain still present within her.
“Thank you.” Yuko broke into a smile as she leaned onto her.
The burning within the idol grew rapidly as she felt everything in her body shake. The eyes were magnetizing the situation as the idol closed her eyes and pressed forward.
“Here we are!” Sayaka announced as Yuko turned towards the driver.
Yuko wiped away the tears and ran into the lobby where Tomochin had a grin on her face. She looked outside seeing the woman with long, straight black hair looking inside. The blonde followed the idol into the elevator and nudged her in the side.
“Who is that girl?”
“It is a friend I met in the hospital. We are having a party for her discharge from there but I forgot about my trip to the funeral.” Yuko explained.
“I see…” Tomochin nodded. “She is cute maybe you can snag her.”
Her words seemed too close for comfort. She didn’t want to accept or deny the blooming relationship but it was the funeral that seemed important as Yuko ran to her apartment and opened it. The idol grabbed another bag and lay all her clothing in there for the day and zipped it up quickly. She headed out to the hallway where Tomochin had stood watching the chaos.
“I guess you must be thinking of that.” She hinted.
“I want to make sure she survives the party.” Yuko said bluntly as she rushed back to the car.
Her chest started to burn as she slid into her seat. Rena stared back at her with a smile as she turned again to admire the lights.
“You were close…” She whispered to the idol.
“I know.” Yuko admitted. “Guilt is building up again and just seeing you here want me to ponder my decision to seek another lover.”
“If you are not ready…”
Yuko pushed her body onto hers and felt her soft lips. Her heart started to pound as she broke away. The idol felt her eyeballs. They were dry. She feared it would happen if she fell in love again. Tomorrow, she would cry, it was years of building a mountain together to only get struck by lightning and split apart but inviting another only led to added pressure to understand.
They arrived back at the house with Yuko taking the couch and closed her eyes. Rena and Sayaka took to the table observing the idol as she prepared for the test tomorrow.

Chapter 7
Yuko turned to the light beaming through the window and rolled out of bed. She felt drunk of sleep but her mind was on the trip to Saitama. She stepped into the bathroom and disrobed. The bitter cold air hit her skin like a layer before stepping into the shower where the shards of water erased the cold. Yuko began to think of how to approach the situation. Tears crawled out as she began to think of that night where she would have been dead if it wasn’t for a fan. Then, she awoke from her dream as the hot water was sheathing her.
“Do you want breakfast?” Sayaka asked as the smell of meat entered into the room.
“No thank you.”
Yuko heard the door click and rushed through her routine hoping that the tears would dry up. She slipped on a black blouse and black slacks before heading to the couch where she had set up her makeup.
“You’ll be back right?” Rena questioned with a half smile.
“Yeah, I’m off today because of the funeral and the media will be swamping me.” Yuko explained.
“Okay… I guess I can hang around waiting for you.” Rena patted the idol’s head before heading toward the car.
Sayaka followed behind the idol with her bag and tossed into the backseat as they both entered the car. The coach turned the key and Yuko put her sunglasses as she looked through the front passenger window.
“I wish you good luck and I’ll be waiting for your return flight.” She informed the idol as Yuko dug her body into the seat.
Concerns grew as the people were lining up near the airport as they approached the terminal. Men in black suits holding the thin rope containing the people behind them as Sae became the first to greet the idol. “On your way out?”
Yuko nodded and reached for her bag in the back. She pulled it forward knocking off her sunglasses instantly covering her eyes from the bright flashes. Sayaka grabbed the accessory and gave it to her before they could catch a glimpse of her expression. Yuko extended out her hand and lazily gripped the hand in front of her. Sayaka wasn’t sure but she had to accept the haphazard gesture and let her off into the airport.
Yuko waved as she drove away and the security pushed her through the crowd of fans and media. The muddled faces of the crowd forced her to look forward and a cart came to pick the group up and headed toward the plane below. Sae noticed the safety zone was perfect for an inconspicuous entry and driving at a quicken pace they arrived at the entry stairs. They climbed onto the plane and took their seats on the private jet.
“This is rather annoying, isn’t it?” Sae commented as she looked out the window as the idol lowered the sunglasses.
Her eyes were streaked with red thread as she looked at the attendant. She smiled towards her as they were offered glasses of juice for the flight. Yuko forced a grin as the attendant walked away with her tray.
“I don’t know how you feel…” Sae whispered.
“I can’t explain it either but thank you for going with me.” She nodded as the juice touched her lips and felt it evaporate on the tongue.
Yuko felt the takeoff and closed her eyes for a bit. As she took a breath, the plane was up in the air and she wasn’t sure of the distance but it was better than suffering the faith of the paparazzi’ wrath by driving to there. She opened her eyes and felt the plane touch down. Yuko shot up and walked down to the limousine waiting for them at the bottom.
“Yuko, are you ready to face them?” Sae asked before entering the vehicle.
She slid inside knowing that the problems were only going to build when she arrived there. Sae followed her inside and the limousine drove toward the funeral. Cameras were flashing along the way as she put her sunglasses back on with the dark tint blocking their vision from outside. People were also lining up like royalty visiting their city. As they drew closer, Yuko’s midsection released a growl as she pressed it firmly.
“Are you okay?” Sae felt the head of the idol.
“I’ll be fine. Just drop me off and get some stuff for my friend.” Yuko groaned as the vehicle pulled up behind the procession.
She stepped out and was swarmed by the media’s gibberish. She covered her face and bulled through the crowd until she got to the entrance. The people stopped following her as she walked up to the table and signed her name in. Yuko walked into the room and drew attention of the three adults in front of her. Lowering her sunglasses, the red streaks grew in her eyes as she bowed to them.
The bottom half felt like standing on stilts as she struggled to get forward. Seeing her picture in sight, she let the thought manipulate her mind and stopped a few feet in front of the portrait. Her hands clasped together in front of her and bent herself at ninety degrees.
Lighting up the incense, she placed into the sand holding the rest of the half burnt sticks and placed her hands in front of her the portrait and closed her eyes.
“I’m sorry for all this. I need to confess something.” She whispered as she looked up. “I was angry when you cheated on me. Enough to rip into your heart and tore it apart in front of you that I got drunk and slept with someone. I lied about being with you all this time. I want to forgive you. No one but me will feel sorry but I want to make my new relationships work. Please give me your blessing.”
Yuko dropped her sunglasses to the floor and squatted down to pick it up. A wisp of wind hit her back like a hand patting it calming her down. She stood up and walked to the three members dressed in black. They held their calm demeanor as Yuko extended her hands.
“I’m sorry for your lost.” She spoke softly as she avoided eye contact.
As she reached the last one, her midsection started to twist into a ringed towel. Yuko looked up and felt the life flushed out of her body.
“Hello again.” The man spoke.
“Shouji…” Yuko coughed.
“Do you have a little time after this?” He asked.
“I’m on a tight schedule but I have a little time.” Yuko replied.
The man grabbed the idol’s wrist and took her to the back room. She remembered him as Kojima’s cousin but the truth was he was her older brother from a previous marriage. He was a tall figure with a heavy beard speckled with gray and a thick moustache that was a solid black. He had a firm smile but that was disfigured from a stroke two years ago. Luckily, it was only his face that was disfigured if their parents hadn’t noticed it earlier.
“Haruna-chan loved you and she was always sorry about cheating on you.” He informed her as he took out a pencil-thick cigarette and lit it with a lighter.
“I already told her about my one-night stand and my new friend.” Yuko said in a soft voice.
“Haruna knew that one day you would do it because she did it too many times.” He laughed as he puffed the cigarette.
“Sho-kun, do your parents know about our relationship?”
“No, they thought she was always single and never clued in on your needs toward her.” He explained.
“Thanks, I gotta go back to Tokyo.” Yuko bowed and walked back into the swarm of people in the front of the building.
As Yuko got through the crowd, the clouds opened up and let out a blessing from above. She found the limousine and jumped in before it sped back onto the streets. Sae looked at the idol and flashed a smile as the clothes were soaked from the sudden flash weather change.
“Shall we head back?”
“What did you guys got?”
Sae searched in the bag and held out a box of cookies and a box of freshly made melon pan.
“Thanks.” She smiled as they headed back to the airport.
Yuko blocked out the thoughts of Haruna for a moment while looking at the melon pan. It felt different in letting go her harbored feelings than what she expected. She wanted to cry out everything at the altar but something prevented it from flowing like a river. Yuko felt her presence telling her to not cry and maybe scolded her for attempting to take her life after.
She boarded the plane back and stamped a smile on her face as she felt lighter from facing her former manager. The short trip forced her to exhaust all her energy on one day as she dragged herself through everything until she arrived at the house. She placed the omiyage bag onto the table and laid out the two boxes.
“Melon pan?” Rena said wide-eyed.
“Yes. I know you like them so here’s a boxful.” Yuko smiled before heading into the room.
She undressed back into t-shirt and shorts and jumped onto the couch. Her head hit the soft cushion and melted into dreamland. Rena went onto her knees and moved the hair away from her forehead. She leaned in and gave the idol a kiss on the forehead.
“Rena-chan, do you want lunch?” Sayaka asked.
“I’m okay.” She said as she glanced over at Yuko.
“Well… I think she can finally move on in her life.”
“I want to know that she’ll keep her promise.” Rena commented before going into her room.
“I think so…” Sayaka thought as she took a seat on the chair.

Really just like that Yuko would move on...
Very easy I guess...
Well Yuko is going to be with Rena soon enough....
But what the others would say about it?
What's going to happen next?
Can't wait to find out
Thank you for the update

Last stage of grieving is acceptance..
Well there's no need to forgive and forget just acceptance..
I guess that's what reality means..
Oh well, might as well see the development how Yuko and Rena will have a deep relationship as the story flows..
Thank you for the update  :twothumbs

Chapter 8
Her eyes shot open noticing the darkness around her. Slowly walking over to the bathroom, she felt out the light and closed the door behind her. She began to think about the life she had and it seemed to be gone too quick. Her heart started to pump realizing the cold air surrounding her.
“Where are you?” Yuko breathed.
The doorknob turned and saw Rena in a blue pajama and quickly closed the door.
“Sorry Rena.” Yuko stood up and ran toward the door.
“It’s fine. I was just wondering why you went into the bathroom.”
Yuko tilted her head to the side. “You saw that?”
“I can never sleep for long periods as of yet so I listen to the footsteps to see if anyone is up and I guess you were the one who went into the bathroom.” Rena smiled before entering the bathroom.
Yuko waited outside staring at the door as she began to think and then Rena opened the door grabbing the idol by the wrist. Rena closed the door behind them and held her face in her hands.
“There are a lot of things on my mind too. Shall we talk about it?” Rena moved in centimeters away from her lips.
“I guess so but the one thing is…”
Yuko closed the distance and pressed onto her lips. Rena backpedaled to the wall as Yuko continued her offensive feeling her neck in her hand. The idol quickly moved to the buttons and released a few before pulling back from the embrace.
“Sorry.”
“Why are you sorry? It would be perfectly fine.”
“I wanted to ask if we are together that you can handle all the energy during…”
“I could last.” Rena finished.
“The other thing is the outside world will grill you for anything you do.” Yuko explained.
“I think anything will only help me rather than hurt me.”
“One last thing…” Yuko smiled. “If I mention Haruna… please be truthful.”
“It doesn’t bother me now since you told me about her.” Rena smiled.
Yuko finished releasing the buttons and placed her hands on her firm chest. The idol felt the radiating heat from the area. She stared at it thinking about her next move and looked up at Rena. Yuko closed her eyes and went forward in pleasuring her new friend.
“Yuko! This is too much.” Rena moaned.
“Rena only you can stop me.” Yuko replied as she went for her bottom.
Slowing removing the pants, Yuko ran her hand over the exposed milky white thighs and let the item hit the floor. Rena closed her eyes digging her nails into the wall as the idol rubbed the thin material protecting her from the treasure.
“Yuko!” She shrieked. “Stop toying around!”
“Okay… we’ll head back to your room.” Yuko smiled as they headed back to the room to finish the business.
The idol felt a shift near her and awoke to the flawless being in her arms. Her hand placed on her stomach as Rena turned towards her.
“Morning.”
“Morning Rena. Shall we continue our talk?” Yuko smirked before leaning in for a kiss.
“Sayaka knows we are here.” Rena informed her as a shadow appeared from behind.
“I guess the idol can never get enough sex for a while.” She commented as Yuko turned and covered herself with the sheet.
“I couldn’t stop myself.” Yuko smiled.
Sayaka shook her head and pointed toward her wrist before leaving the room.
“I’ll be back in a few days to take you to the concert.” Yuko grinned.
“I’ll be waiting.”
Yuko leapt out of bed and quickly dressed for rehearsals. Stuffing all her clothes back into the bag, Yuko finally felt at peace for the first time. She waved to Rena before leaving the house and stepped into the car.
“Yuko, I want to tell you that Rena could be a little misguided if you continue your aggressive ways.” Sayaka confided.
“I don’t feel ready to commit to just dating her. I want her to realize that she can feel protected by me.” Yuko explained. “Haruna knew that I would protect her from anything.”
“You are serious.”
“I am serious.”
“I’m glad to hear that because you hurt her once before but without the strings, you want to make sure she doesn’t let anyone hurt her.” Sayaka started up the car and drove to the building.
Yuko decided to make an entrance through the front instead of the parking to see the flow of reporters blocking the area. It was a crowded area for her and she managed to push through without looking at the cameras. The smile seemed to lighten up the lobby as she headed upstairs for the practice.
“Oshima, you look different.”
“I feel better letting it go.” She replied.
“Classic Yuko…”
She suddenly stopped and turned toward the commenter. Her eyes slanted as she faced him.
“What do you mean?” She asked holding her hand into a fist.
“You were never satisfied with the product. You kept improving the item until you got it up to your standard.” He explained releasing her fist.
“That was the wrong thing to say.” His mate whispered as Yuko continued the practice.
The idol knew the return concert was a few days away and it only meant to have this practice before dress rehearsal at the place where she debuted on the big stage. Staring up at the clock, she knew time was not on her side and the feelings were still deep in the groove of her heart. She pushed herself to get the choreography down and worked every part.
“Yuko! Let’s take five.” The dancers whined as she kept at it.
She stared at the mirror and could see the sweat glisten from the lights. Yuko never felt as great as she was now continuing the dance then a loud rip silenced the room. Yuko dropped to the floor and held her lower left leg when the people rushed back.
“Someone get a chair!” One of the dancers yelled.
They carried into the chair and supported the injury on a stool. Yuko bit down on her lip and stood up feeling the weight was still even but the first step she felt the weight slip from under her and fell to the floor. The dancers brought her up and the doctor on premises looked at her left leg.
“Yuko, are you okay?” Sae asked.
“I don’t know.” Yuko surprised as the doctor cleared the way.
After a thorough checkup, he shook his head. Yuko knew it could only be bad as Sae decided to clear the room leaving the three staring at each other.
“I fear she may have ruptured the tendon.” He stated with chagrin.
“What does that mean?” Sae asked angrily.
“She is permanently on hold until we can see the MRI.” He explained as Yuko dropped her head into her hands.
“Sensei, we will get a car over and take her to the hospital.” Sae confirmed her suspicions and called the car to be ready.
Yuko wasn’t sure but the pain seemed to trigger the heartbreak of the cancellation. It was the first time it would be cancelled because of any consequence. She began to outline her apology to the fans in her mind as they escorted her to the car in the basement. It seemed surreal that it happened to her after all what had expired in a few weeks.
Then, she thought about Rena and smiled as they took her into emergency imaging and she blocked out the negativity around her. She opened her eyes to a person crying holding her hand.
“Yuko… How are you doing?”
“Rena… Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.” Yuko replied. “Thank you for helping me.”
Rena looked up fighting a smile out from her face. She shielded her face again gripping onto her hand as news was surgery.
