On September 21st, SKE48 held a handshake event at Seibu Dome where they announced that they will be releasing their 13th single (currently untitled) on November 20th.
At 1:00 pm, a siren sounded in Seibu Dome and the announcement appeared on the aurora vision screen. Their latest single became their 3rd consecutive single to sell more than 500,000 copies. It was also their 2nd consecutive single to top Oricon's weekly ranking.
Matsui Jurina, who won the '4th AKB48 Janken Tournament' and will be the center for AKB48's 34th single (December 11th release), commented, "Since it will be released on November 20th (20th = 'hatsuka'), maybe this will be our first million (first = 'hatsu')?!" Meanwhile, Matsui Rena called out, "I hope it will be a song that many people can get excited and enjoy. Everyone, please look forward to it!"
The single will be released in 9 different editions: Limited Edition A-D, Regular Edition A-D, and a Theater Edition.

This is the first SKE A-side this year I feel like I could listen to more than once a month. I like Choco and Inazuma but they fizzled out of my playlist pretty quick. It's nothing super special but it's a fun, upbeat sounding song. I'm into it. :thumbup

SKE48's 13th single "Sansei Kawaii!" which went on sale on November 20, sold 449,000 copies during the first week, and topped Oricon's weekly single ranking.
This is the 9th consecutive chart-topping single, and this single also allowed them to grab the number 2 spot for the record number of consecutive chart-topping singles for a female group which ties them with Pink Lady. (AKB48 keeps the No.1 spot with 20 consecutive chart-topping singles.)

SKE48 released their 13th Single [Sansei Kawaii] on November 20th and it finished its first week in the Oricon Charts ranking #1. Sales amount to 449,003 copies.
Sales went down from [Utsukushii Inazuma]'s 510,673 in first weeking resulting in [Sansei Kawaii] having the group's lowest first week sales since [Oki Doki] back in 2011. First day sales amounted to 349,835 copies which was already a decline from the previous single's 416,341 copies. Nevertheless, the top spot of the Oricon Ranking was never in danger with SKE48 still selling considerably more than the competitors.
