well i didn't like it. it's almost exactly the same as the 1st season.. but in a new school. it's like everyone forgot everything that happened in the 1st season.. and.. no yuko or ito misaki.. (no matsumoto jun for the gals)

I am so happy that I found this place. I have been looking forever for some qaulity pictures of Nakama Yukie and for the most part it has been the same images over and over. I hope more people will post pictures of her. I will prepare a little collection and post what I can.

For anyone who can access this site (it seems to be down at the moment :confused: ...but I accessed it earlier today) there seems to be a Yukie Nakama site/forum.
It appears to be written in Chinese and I can not read the posts or figure out how to access the pictures in the "Photo" section. :evil:

You bet I have seen the Pocky commercial....I scan youtube.com every now and then to see what vids of Yukie have been loaded. I never tire of looking at her. She is so pretty and she can be so funny in those commercials...and of course hot and sexy at other times. :D

Been meaning to hire this movie out for the last 2years, but it just slipped my mind. :doh: That was until today, when I re-stumbled across it. :D

Done.. Extracted the subs to ".idx & .sub" and converted them to an ".srt".
Ripped the movie to a 700meg avi, but I need to do it again, since the frame rate was on 23.976 and not 29.97 which makes it a little jumpy.. Not that noticeable, but still enough to piss me off. :evil:

24 is the film fps rate, its non interlaced independent from the target frame rate.
(unless they simply messed things up)

^Ripped "Memories of Matsuko" the other week, and DGIndex showed it as being "film" and at 23.976, so ripped it as 23.976 and it turned out sweet.
This on the other hand, showed "film" and a rate of 29.97 in DGIndex, and without me checking, ripped it at 23.976 and turned out what I think it's slightly jumpy. So I'm ripping it again, but this time at 29.97, and I'll see how it goes. If it's worse, I'll rip it for a third time back at 23.976, since I deleted the original rip. :doh:
:edit: Gordian Knot spat out some warnings about the amount of frames not being correct after the first encode pass, and auto corrected for the second, and dropped the frame rate to 23.976. So, I guess DGIndex slipped up.

Yukie Nakama is "Untouchable"

With her "Gokusen" days apparently behind her, actress Yukie Nakama (29) will tackle her next comedy role in TV Asahi's upcoming mystery series, "Untouchable." The show is an original work penned by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has worked on "Karei Naru Ichizoku" and the "Shomuni" franchise.
Nakama plays the role of Ryoko Narumi, a reporter who gets dismissed from a top-notch magazine and winds up at a third-rate weekly. Clumsy yet persistent, she notices details that other reporters overlook, leading her to the "untouchable" sides of criminal cases and, ultimately, to the truth. The story will be episodic, but the show will also include a larger mystery that gets unveiled as the show progresses.
The supporting cast includes Jun Kaname (28) as a rival reporter, Tetsushi Tanaka (43) as Ryoko's editor-in-chief, Tomohito Sato (25) as a photographer, and Susumu Terajima (45) as a big-shot businessman. TV Asahi will begin airing the drama in October, on Fridays at 9:00pm.

Nakama Yukie to play a cold-blooded surgeon in a special drama

Fuji TV has announced that they’ll be airing a special drama called “Akujotachi no Mes“, starring the bewitching Nakama Yukie as a cold-blooded surgeon. Seto Asaka, the wife of V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko, will also be starring in her first role since giving birth to a baby boy in March 2010.
“Akujotachi no Mes” is based on a novel called, “Incident… Akujotachi no Mes” by author Hata Takehiko. It’s set in a large hospital, with Nakama playing as one of the best neurosurgeons in Japan. She’s a wicked woman who cares more about her status in society than anything else, and isn’t afraid of prioritizing patients of high status above normal patients. Due to such decisions, she already caused the death of a female high school student by prioritizing the surgery of a mainstay in the financial world; she’s also responsible for the death of a male high school student, whose blood transfusion got redirected to the Prime Minister.
Seto plays the mother of the said male high school student, who completely condemns the surgeon for the death of her son. She’s now demanding justice and tries to find evidence of the surgeon’s questionable decisions by all means necessary. Actress Nakahara Towako makes an appearance as a coordinator who stands between the doctors and the patients, and tries to find the most appropriate medical treatment for the individual cases.
All three characters are said to be very persistent women, and it will be the viewer’s task to decide which one of them is the most wicked in the story. b
Nakama commented, “I was coached by medical specialists for the surgery scenes. I think it turned into a very fast-paced and thrilling medical drama.”
Seto commented, “It was a difficult role, but it made me grow further as an actress.”
The special drama “Akujotachi no Mes” is supposed to air on a Friday evening in December, but an exact date has yet to be announced.

Yoshino san, I couldn't agree with you more - The Folk Crusaders 1971 Hit "あの素晴らしい愛をもう一度 / Ano Subarashii Ai Wo Mou Ichido" (For That Splendid Love, Once Again) is perhaps one of the finest folk rock songs ever produced. When I was looking it up to find the year produced- this article in "Tokyo Time Out" appeared, in which film director Kazuyuki Izutsu names his top five Japanese songs, and Ano Subarashii Ai Wo Mou Ichido is one of those five songs:

But back to the main point of the thread, Yukie Nakama. She has done so much fine work, that you could leave out all of the Gokusen dramas and films that she has done, and she still has a very impressive body of work for someone in her early 30's.
If we asked her why we should watch any of the Gokusens, she could truthfully say "Because I'm Awesome!!" :deco:

Nakama Yukie to play a loveless career woman in new drama, “Renai NEET”

Today it was announced that actress Nakama Yukie is going star as a career woman in the upcoming TBS drama “Renai NEET ~Wasureta Koi no Hajime Kata~“.
“Renai NEET” is a romantic comedy about six individuals between twenty and forty, who all are fortunate to be in a good social position yet fail to advance in the professional called love. The acronym NEET actually stands for ‘not in education, employment, or training’, but in this case it basically describes a person who ‘is not in love, a relationship, or trying to find love’.
Nakama plays a woman called ‘Rin‘, who happens to be around the same age as herself. Rin is single and hasn’t had a boyfriend for the past eight years. She rather immersed herself into work in order to raise her two much younger siblings after the death of their parents. However, instead of trying to find her love, she drives away the opposite sex by blurting out that she hasn’t had any sexual relationship for quite a while.
She commented, “I’m playing a full-fledged OL (office lady) this time. It will be a story about people in their thirties and their love relationships. I can’t wait for the filming to begin. I hope the viewers will enjoy watching it every week while checking if you are also the love NEET or not.”
The producer behind “Renai NEET” is the same person who caused a social phenomenon with the drama “Around 40“. The term ‘ara-four’ (around 40) became the buzzword of the year in Japan in 2008 and with the term ‘renai NEET’, they will try to create yet another popular buzzword.
Fuji TV is currently airing a similar drama with “Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Ryuu” on Mondays, but the producer of “Renai NEET” emphasized that “this drama will be romantic comedy about real adults“.
TBS will premier “Renai NEET” in January and air it every Friday at 10:00 pm.

On November 28th, actress Nakama Yukie attended a press conference for the upcoming 3D film, “Tempest“.
Set in the late Edo period, the film portrays the story of a woman named Mazuru, who disguises herself as Son Neion to protect the Ryukyu Kingdom. It started off as a stage play back in February, and was later adapted into a drama series in July.
As her third time starring in this production, Nakama expressed, “I’ve been playing the same role for over a year, so when we started filming, I felt that I could save the Ryukyu.” She continued, “To be able to feel that my hometown of Okinawa was the Ryukyu Kingdom is an inheritance of a lifetime.”
The biggest highlight of the film is the three-dimensional hologram. A virtual image of Nakama’s character Son Neion appeared beside Nakama, who appeared at the event as Manzuru. Seeing this, co-stars Tanihara Shosuke and Takaoka Saki were moved to excitement.

Fuji TV has announced that they’ll be airing a special drama called “Akujotachi no Mes“, starring the bewitching Nakama Yukie as a cold-blooded surgeon. Seto Asaka, the wife of V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko, will also be starring in her first role since giving birth to a baby boy in March 2010.
“Akujotachi no Mes” is based on a novel called, “Incident… Akujotachi no Mes” by author Hata Takehiko. It’s set in a large hospital, with Nakama playing as one of the best neurosurgeons in Japan. She’s a wicked woman who cares more about her status in society than anything else, and isn’t afraid of prioritizing patients of high status above normal patients. Due to such decisions, she already caused the death of a female high school student by prioritizing the surgery of a mainstay in the financial world; she’s also responsible for the death of a male high school student, whose blood transfusion got redirected to the Prime Minister.
Nakama commented, “I was coached by medical specialists for the surgery scenes. I think it turned into a very fast-paced and thrilling medical drama.”
The special drama “Akujotachi no Mes” is supposed to air on a Friday evening in December, but an exact date has yet to be announced.

Nakama Yukie to return as an enchantress in new drama ‘Saki’

On November 30th, Fuji TV announced that actress Nakama Yukie will reprise her role as the beautiful, yet scary and malicious ‘Meyer Saki’ from the 2011 winter drama ‘Utsukushii Rinjin‘ (‘Beautiful Neighbor’).
In the upcoming winter season, ‘Meyer Saki’ will be the protagonist in the same-named drama ‘Saki‘. Her goal in ‘Utsukushii Rinjin’ was to deceive a married woman and to destroy her peaceful life. This time she will ruin the lives of several men.
According to the producers, we will see the same ‘Meyer Saki’ we got to know, hate, and love in ‘Utsukushii Rinjin’, but they want to tell us a completely different story rather than forcing a direct sequel. Therefore, it has been also necessary to replace every character except for ‘Saki’.
This time ‘Meyer Saki’ will work as a nurse at the pediatrics department of a general hospital. The young patients and all men love her because of her angelic smile, her perfect cooking skills, and the sheer beauty she radiates in everything she does. However, none of them know of her amazing ability to ruin other people’s lives while keeping her hands clean all the time. Her targets this time are the reporter of a major magazine (Miura Shohei) who is searching for his older sister, a famous lawyer (Hagiwara Masato) who is fighting for justice, and her main target – the devoted husband and board chairman of said hospital, played by Takashima Masanobu.
Uchida Yuki will play a female reporter who becomes suspicious of Saki’s behavior. Other characters will be played by Shonozaki Ken and Ishiguro Hideo, among others. The theme song titled “Catch Me -If you wanna-“ will once again be provided by the Korean group Tohoshinki.
‘Saki’ will air every Tuesday at 10:00 pm and is slated to premiere with an extended episode on January 8th, 2013.

Nakama Yukie announces her marriage with Tanaka Tetsushi

On September 18, popular actress Nakama Yukie (34) announced that she is now married to actor Tanaka Tetsushi (48).
Reportedly, Tanaka went to register their marriage alone to a ward office in Tokyo on this day, as Nakama was in the middle of shooting a drama.
They are not planning to hold any press conference, wedding ceremony, nor reception party at this moment.
The two first co-starred with each other in 2003 Fuji TV drama "Kao", and they worked together once again in TBS drama "Joshi Deka!" back in 2007. According to a source, they began dating in 2008.
Nakama released a comment through her agency, "We started our relationship as good friends at first, and now that time has matured, we were ready for marriage. By cooperating with each other, we would like to create a modest family together. For both my public and private life, I will continue to practice diligence in order to leave the result that makes 1+1 more than 2."
As the 18th was the opening day of the stage play "Haishin" (at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space), when Tanaka appeared he was surrounded by about 40 reporters after the play.
Tanaka revealed to the reporters, "I proposed to her about a year ago, and gave her a ring, but I was mumbling too much so I do not remember what I said to her. She is too great for me, and has a very nice personality. She also has many simple sides, and I love those sides of her."
Nakama is not pregnant, and she will continue pursuing her career as an actress.
