No idea what that graph is (I'm guessing it's saying Ikoma sold out none of her handshake slots?) - but as far as I know, Ikoma's always been a fairly unpopular centre, which is why it made sense when they gave Maiyan centre position in that one single, as she's one of the most popular, but then they started rotating it, like AKB is doing at the moment.

8th Single 「Kizuitara Kataomoi」 Tracklist Revealed
The tracklist for Nogizaka46's 8th single 「Kizuitara Kataomoi」 has been revealed. The b-side on all types, Romance no Start, is been used as the new theme song for House Foods' Megashaki CM since January of this year, with its MV being placed on type A. Umareta Mama de is the under members song on type C, featuring for the first time a jacket cover without the senbatsu members. One of the coupling songs has in its name a German word, which Ikuta Erika (who was born and lived in Germany during her first 5 years) had said on her blog that it could be inspired by a conversation she had with the producer and lyricist Akimoto Yasushi; Dankeschön on the CD Only version means "thank you" in German.
The MVs for Kizuitara Kataomoi and Umareta Mama de and the DVD bonus contents have already been released, as well as the audio for Toiki no Method and Romance no Start. The line-ups for each song other than the senbatsu and unders members ones will be revealed at a later time. The single is scheduled to be released on April 2nd, 2014.

I rly like Romance no Starto's MV~ Its the kinda that I will watch over & over & over & over again~ xD
Just the sheer cuteness of all the Nogi-girls can cheer me up & makes me happy, its reminds me of Sonna baka na!
Kodoku Kyoudai is great too, but not something I would repeat as much as Romance no Starto lol. I think being not a silly/happy themed MV factor to this, & a less clear story might not help either. The Nanamin/Maiyan chocolate scene at the end tho, awwwww~ ;A;
Rly like Kizuitara Kataomoi's MV! The story & the way the dialogue is built into it, its all rly rly well made! However maybe due to its more serious/sad nature, its not something I will rewatch a lot. The acting by all the member were rly well done methink.
Umareta Mama de's MV is great too actually, many of the scene concepts are awesome! My fav is the dancing on the floor part, followed by the door-opening & then the riding & regular dancing part. Altho I like the other three MVs more, I actually like this MV a lot too! I especially enjoy the choreography here!
Speaking of choreography, from what I seen from performance & MVs so far, I rank them:
Umareta Mama de > Romance no Start > Kizuitara Kataomoi > Kodoku Kyoudai
Tbh tho most post-Minami-Sasuga choreography are great lol. Umareta's seems rly creative, & Romance no Starto's just seems so adorb aww~~~ ;A;
KazuKata's is simple yet elegant too, I especially love the part where Maimai centres the formation & kneel down a bits, I find it very very alluring somehow~ >_<
Kodoku Kyoudai's choreo isn't bad too actually, but I find it a bit odd sometimes lol. I guess it feels more like a guy dance choreo than a girl one, a feeling I share for Seifiku no Mannequin choreo. I like Kodoku Kyoudai's choreo tho, while for Mannequin I disliked it. I just don't like it as much as the other three choreo lol.

There have been concerns regarding Kizuitara Kataomoi's sale, due to the fact that compared to the 7th rnd of Barrette, HS sale have dropped, by some 57 blocks to be exact if my calculation is not wrong. A point to note is that the total amount of HS blocks have been increased for most members however, so that might stretch out HS sales a bit & make selling out a block less likely. Nonetheless 57 blocks is a huge number, & 57 x 500 (slots per block) = 28,500, which is not a number to be neglected.
However, than I noticed that the last handshake round result before Barrette was released was not the 7th rnd; in fact it was the 5th. So rly, we should be comparing KizuKata's 7th round to Barrette's 5th rnd. For comparison's sake I also looked up Garuru's HS result before release, also the 5th rnd.

Another thing to note is that Barette got an additional anime edition that went on sale due to Tsuki no Ookisa being a Naruto theme. I don't know how much of a difference it made to Barette's sale, but if it helped significantly, it might make it harder for KazuKata to top Barrette's sale. Anyways considering everything I'm slightly optimistic sale will increase, but still worried lol. Lets hope for the best & wish that Naachan's bungee jump & being tsuntsun in Romance no Starto MV made Ngzk sold even more lol >_<

That being said, I do enjoy all four PVs a lot. Nogizaka46 has lots of great PVs and Romance no Start is definitely up there with the classics. The concept is quite creative and well executed but more importantly the PV simply has lots of replay value. Kizuitara Kataomoi is another great one but due to being long and story heavy it's not something I'm going to watch over and over again. Kodoku Kyoudai is all style but very little substance. Sure there's a story but personally I didn't find it that interesting. I feel like the PV is more about Maiyan and Nanamin looking super fucking awesome and badass. In fact both the girls and the dance choreography look so great that I wouldn't mind if they dropped the story parts and just made a dance shot PV. The choreography does look like it was made for dudes but that's what makes it so cool. I also like the visual style of the PV a lot. I don't have much to say about Umareta Mama de except that it's cute and fun lol.

I initially had mixed feelings about Kizuitara Kataomoi. I loved the chorus right away but I felt like everything else was forgettable. But much like what happened with Baretta, one day I just realized that the song was stuck in my head. The chorus is just too damn catchy. So while KizuKata might not be my absolute favorite Nogi A-side song it's still a very solid addition to their catalogue. If KizuKata's awesomeness didn't hit me right away, Kodoku Kyoudai was an instant hit. I just knew it was gonna be my favorite C/W song the moment I saw the short PV preview. Dankeschön & Toiki no Method are both decent and while Romance no Start isn't bad, I feel like it sounds too much like a generic 48G song. And y'all know how much I dislike that style :P

Good stuff, thanks for the info! It looks like Nogizaka's sales peak will end up being somewhere between 350-400k. I doubt they will ever truly rival AKB48 but I could see them beating other 48G groups. Anyways I'm cautiously optimistic about KizuKata's sales :peace:

So some big increases & big drops. Maimai is surging! Sayurin, Misamisa, & Reika doing exceptional too. Generally speaking a concentration in blocks sold out. The increase in total sold out might have bump tons of members to -1 territory tho, so there might not need to be any concerns there. The greater negative numbers deserve some concerns tho methink.

Gotta love Mai. I'm sure those mousou segments in Nogibingo boosted her popularity immensely. She's very likable.
Biggest surprise is Inoue Sayuri. I always quite liked her, so I wonder what it causing this drop.
On the other hand, she doesn't seem to develop as much as the other girls. Still very shy.

Another her high for 3rd day sales! I was hoping it can break the 10k mark, but it was pretty damn close at least lol.
Previously the highest weekly increase from 1st day sale was Garuru, increasing by 48,635. KizuKata alrdy increased by 44,240 from 1st day sale with just two days! I think 450k is definitely not a problem now. Hopefully it was reach weekly 480k! If there's a spike in the following days like how somtimes SKE/NMB do, we might reach 500k. That have historically not happened with Ngzk sale tho, so not likely methink but would be nice if it do happens lol.

Unfortunately not a new height for 5th day sale, 3rd highest actually. Its still a rly respectable number tho, & total sale increase for the week excluding 1st day is now 64,100 exactly lol. KizuKata is now 13,424 sales away from 464,646~ xD
13,424 might be a little bit difficult with one day left + adjustment (usually 2k), meaning 6th day need some 11k in sales. If out goal is 460k tho KizuKata just need 8,778 in sales, so very achievable methink! ^ ^

Oricon have news article (http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2036133/full/) confirming that KizuKata have achieved sale of 458k. I prolly sounded like I care about the 460k more than I actually do lol, but yes this is a great record alrdy. I don't rly care that much about the 2k difference, but just thought making the 460k number would be fun lol. Here's a graph of the sale growth from the Oricon article btw.
