This is my first fanfic. This idea just came to me tonight. I do NOT know where I am going with this. Only time will tell. Okay, without further ado, I present you my very horrible and lets face it LAME story. I am sorry for all my mistakes and typos. Thank you to those you stop by and read this prologue.
Prologue
Alone outside of the café, I closed my eyes and just listened. I listened to the sound of the heavy rain as it echoed throughout the night. My body was getting colder as I am soaked from head to toe. I clearly was not prepared for the sudden rain as the sun was out earlier in the day. But, in all honesty, the rain did not bother me at all. In fact, I love the refreshing and calming feeling I get from just hearing the natural repetitive raindrops.
In just a few seconds later, I no longer felt the raindrops beating against my face. Therefore, I opened my eyes and a white umbrella was in my eyesight. As I turned to my left, I could not believe my eyes. There stood the owner of the umbrella, who was a very beautiful girl. The iris of her eyes was very hard to see that it made her eyes so dark and mysterious. She had a frown expression on her face. I wonder why. My thought was never answered as we both just stood there, looking at each other eyes. Words were not spoken. The only thing that can be heard was the rapid beating of the raindrops as it hits the surface of the Earth.
After what seems to be hours, but really just a couple minutes. The both of us opened our mouth at the same time and said, “Hi…”

I thank all of the silent readers out there that read my prologue or took a glance of it! I hope I will not disappoint any one of you! I am new to writing a fanfic, so please excuse my mistakes and typos! Here is the first chapter of my story!
Chapter 1
“So that it? That is all the both of you said to each other? You are kidding me right? Milky and I set you up with a great opportunity for the both of you to be alone and talk. Yet all you said was HI?!?!” said a good looking girl with short haired.
The girl sitting opposite of the short haired girl frowns and said sarcastically, “Oh yeah, leaving me alone outside in the COLD rain was such a GREAT opportunity! Also, would you calm down?! You are making a scene!”
The short haired girl quickly glances around the café and indeed she found multiple eyes looking directly at her. She bought up her hand as a sign of saying sorry to the other customers for being so loud.
Lowering her voice a little this time, Yamamoto Sayaka continued, “Calm down? How do you expect me to calm down when you totally wasted an opportunity with Milky’s cousin?”
The latter shakes her head and sighs, “First, I did not waste any opportunity. Second, I did not ask you to set me up with anyone!”
“But…” Sayaka tried to cut her off, but could not say anymore as the waitress, Yagura Fuuko, placed their order on their table.
“Hai. Your coffee, Sayaka-chan and your tea, Yui-han” said Fuuko with a cute smile on her face.
“Arigato, Fuu-chan!” Sayaka-chan and Yui-han politely said.
“Do you both need anything else before I go back to the other customers?” kindly asked Fuuko.
Sayaka points at Yui-han and remarks, “Yes, can you knock some sense into this girl? She wasted an opportunity with Milky’s cousin!?! Ahhh, all my hard work just went down the drain!”
Fuuko chuckled, “Mou, Sayaka-chan, leave Yui-han alone. I am sure Yui-han can take care of herself. You worry too much!”
Before Fuu-chan can say anymore, the doorbell rings, indicating a new customer have arrived. Fuu-chan kindly excused herself from the two girls to greet the new customer.
After Fuu-chan left to serve the new customer, a very energetic girl barge into the cafe and proclaim, “Sayanee!!! Yui-han!!!” can be heard throughout the cafe. Both of the girls turn their head towards the commotion and the voice belongs to no other than Sayaka's girlfriend, Watanabe Miyuki!
The moment Miyuki sat down on her seat, she begin to interrogate Yui-han for details of last night with her cousin. “So, how did it go with my cousin!?! Did you both talked a lot and fell in love with each other?!? Can we finally have a DOUBLE date!?!?” Miyuki excitely questioned.
Sayaka have to calm Miyuki down and explain that people do not just fall in love so rapidly. “I mean there is such thing as love at first sight, but we are talking about the oblivious, unromantic and who has never dated someone before Yokoyama Yui here, so in conclusion it is impossible for her to fall so quicky!”
“Mou…Sayanee! A girl can hope, you know!” Miyuki hits Sayaka on the shoulder!
Sayaka winces and rubs the spot that she just got hit from her girlfriend.
Sayaka and Miyuki keeps going back and forth with the conversation. Yui can only rub her forehead lightly as she feels a headache is soon coming forth. She knows she has to put an end to this conversation or else she will not be able to make it out of this cafe alive.
Yui stops the two of them, “Are you both done bickering with each other!?! I do not have all day!”
The two girls immediately apologize and divert their attention to Yui.
Seeing that Sayaka and Miyuki will not be opening their mouth anytime soon, she continued.
“As I was saying, I did not need you guys to set me up with someone. I am fine being alone. If you both did not wanted me to be the third wheel between the both of you, then stop inviting me to hang out with you guys! Third, I never said that was the end of conversation. You just assumed it was the end.” Yui paused for a moment and tried to recall her conversation she had with the beautiful white umbrella owner.
Unable to contain their curiosity any further, Sayaka and Miyuki quickly asked, “Then hurry up and split the details!”
Yui sighs for the umpteenth time today and started, "Well..."
I am sorry for the cliffhanger everyone! I am still working on the conversation between Yui and the beautiful girl (who will be revealed in the next chapter, but I am sure many of you can guess who it is :) )
To clarify to my readers, the girl that Yui was with, owns a white umbrella. She is not an owner of an umbrella shop. Just to make that clear, because I try re-wording multiple times and to me, I felt it might confuse others, so just clarifying that point to all of you! I will update soon! Thank you for reading! I hope I don't disappoint!

Chapter 2
After what seems to be hours, but really just a couple minutes. The both of us opened our mouth at the same time and said, “Hi…”
“I was told that you were pretty and quite handsome looking, but it was never mentioned you were a baka.” The umbrella girl said nonchalantly.
Yui blushed and became a bit shy when she heard those compliment words. But, her expression turned 360 degrees when she felt insulted for being called a baka! “Who are you to say that I am a baka?! You do not even know me!?” retorted Yui. Yui was never the type to lose her cool in front of people, but somehow this girl unknowingly got on her nerves.
The umbrella girl did not think much about the remark. She just shrugged and said, “Are you not a baka for standing outside in the cold rain without seeking shelter? You are risking your health from getting sick the next day.”
“Earlier this morning, the weather was still nice and clear! I did not expect it to rain! So, I did not bring an umbrella with me. This does not make me a baka! You should take back your words!” Yui was definitely frustrated! At first, she felt appreciative that this girl shared her umbrella. Now she is about to change her mind about this girl. How dare she call me a baka!
The umbrella girl expression never changed at all. It is as if whatever Yui say to her will not phase her one bit. “You know smart people will always check the weather beforehand. The percentage of it raining tonight was 90%. Only people who are a baka will bargain with the 10% chance of not raining.”
Yui did not want to deal with this girl anymore. She took out her phone and sent a text to Sayaka to see where she is and what is taking her so long. Within a minute, Yui’s phone vibrated and she opened to read the message.
“Gomen, Yui! I already left with Miyuki! Have fun with Miyuki’s cousin! She is a wonderful girl, so be nice!” messaged Sayaka.
Yui could not fathom what she just read. Sayaka stood her up! Not only that, Sayaka set her up with this girl without telling her beforehand! When I get my hands on Sayaka, I am going to kill her! Yui sighed and remembered the umbrella girl is still in front of her. She took a quick glance at the girl who has been standing there without saying a word.
“I am going to leave now. You should head home too.” After saying that to Miyuki’s cousin, Yui walked away from her. Yui was expecting for the rain to hit against her body once again, but it did not happen as the umbrella girl followed her.
“What are you doing? You can go home now. I do not need you to shelter me from the rain” Yui said
.
The girl shook her head and determinedly replied, “I am under instructions to bring you home safely. Therefore, I have to keep my words! You do not have to talk to me at all. Just pretend I do not exist and keep walking. Arguing back with me is futile as I will just continue to walk beside you.”
Yui felt defeated and tired. She, herself, did not want to bicker any further because her drench clothes were starting to feel uncomfortable that she wants to quickly get out of them. Without saying a word, Yui continued walking the path as the latter followed.
Due to the wet clothes and slight wind, Yui cannot help it but sneeze and shiver because of the cold. The umbrella girl noticed the slight gesture and immediately stopped walking. Yui also stopped and was puzzled to what made her halt.
“Hold the umbrella!” the girl commanded.
Yui just took the umbrella and thought that perhaps the latter got tired of holding it. When she was about to continue walking, she suddenly felt warmth. The girl apparently took off her own jacket and draped on Yui. Before Yui can say anything, the girl took back her own umbrella and began walking again. Noticing that Yui must have spaced out, so she called out to her, “Hey, come on, I don’t have all day.” Yui snapped out of it and caught up with the girl. She got under the umbrella and they started walking in silence again.
After moments later, they finally arrived at Yui’s house. They both were awkwardly standing in front of the house, not knowing what to say to each other. Wanting to get out of her drench clothes already, Yui decided to break the ice by thanking the girl.
Yui started to slightly rub against her neck and shyly said, “Thanks for walking me home even though you did not have to. Also, here is your jacket back, thanks for lending it to me.” The girl casually took her jacket back and nodded at her.
Not knowing what else to say, Yui just bid her goodbye. As Yui was walking towards her front door, she suddenly felt someone grasping on her hand. She turned back and felt quick warmth on her cheek. Before she realized, the girl just peck her. Yui was definitely blushing now.
The girl explained,” That was for calling you a baka. Gomennasai. I will see you soon, Yokoyama Yui.”
Yui was definitely surprised that the girl knew her name all along. She was still dazzled by the peck to answer the girl. When she finally pulls herself together, the girl was already gone. Yui went back inside her house and went upstairs to her room. She got rid of her drench clothes and went to take a warm bath. After the bath, she puts on her fluffy pajamas and went to bed. Before sleep can overtake her body, she suddenly sat up and realized something.
“I DO NOT KNOW HER NAME!!!” thought Yui.
As if the universe heard her prayers, her phone chimed. A new text message was written on the screen. Yui was curious as to who would text her late at night. She opened it and was dumbfounded with who the sender was.
To: Yokoyama Yui
From: unknown
Message: Shimazaki Haruka also known as Paruru (the umbrella girl)
Yui felt a bit weird and freaked out how this is such a coincidence. Can this girl read her mind?!? Her phone chimed again and another new message came in.
To: Yokoyama Yui
From: unknown
Message: I cannot read your mind. I just thought you might want to know my name. Also, Miyuki mentioned your name before I met you. Good night, Yui-san.
Yui set Haruka’s number into her phone and sent a quick reply back to her before going to sleep.
To: Shimazaki Haruka
From: Baka Yui
Good night, Haruka-san!
Present
“Yeah, that was what happened last night.”
Sayaka and Miyuki are amazed about how this whole thing turned out.
“AWWW!!! She kissed you!!!” Miyuki excitedly said. “Sayanee, isn’t that just cute!!! I knew they will make a cute couple!”
“Well, at least our effort did not go to waste. But, I did not expect Paruru to be the initiative type. You are really something special, Yui-han.” Sayaka casually said.
Miyuki added, “Yui-han, I forgot to tell you. Paruru tend to be blunt sometimes, so please excuse her. She does not mean to offend or insult you in any way.”
“I understand. I am okay. Now, Sayaka, I am going to count to three.” Yui had a mischievous smile on her face when she said that to Sayaka.
Sayaka was puzzled. “Why are you counting to three and what does this have to do with me?”
One
“Wait, Yui-han, I do not understand! Are you mad that I set you up on a date or made you stand outside in the rain!?!”
Two
“Yui-han, it turned out for the better right! Miyuki help me here!”
Miyuki shrugged, “Gomennasai, Sayanee! Looks like you are on your own!”
Two and a half
“Wait, this was your idea, Miyuki!!!”
Three
Sayaka quickly ran for her life as Yui gave chase.
One of the waitress witness the scene in front of her and went over to Miyuki and asked what happened.
“Miyuki-chan, what did Sayaka do this time?” Jonishi Kei asked.
“Nothing really, just gave Yui-han a little push on her love life.” Miyuki said with a smile.
Kei-chan looks up one more time before returning to the customers and saw Yui-han head locking Sayaka. She could only shake her head at their playful moment.

Chapter 3
Yui and Sayaka went back inside the café to sit with Miyuki after Yui thought it was enough tormenting for Sayaka. Sayaka is thoroughly exhausted from being head locked. She laid her head on the table and her arms were placed limply beside her head. Miyuki felt bad for Sayanee, so she decided to be a good girlfriend and started massaging Sayanee’s neck and shoulders.
Sayaka tiredly turns her head towards her girlfriend and smiles at her while mouthing the words “arigato” to her. Miyuki welcomes her with a kiss on the cheek. Although being together for so long, Sayaka still blushes when Milky kisses her. Milky can only smile brightly at the sight before her.
Yui looks away when she saw the affectionate gestures between the two. She slowly sips on her tea and looks out through the window. Thoughts start to overflow her mind. She will be lying to herself if she said she did not envy the couple. Sayaka has always been very protective of Milky while Milky is the energetic and affectionate one. The pair is so sweet to each other that many people refer them as the SayaMilky couple. Seeing other couples being sweet and affectionate with each other does make Yui feel lonely sometimes. She has always wondered if she can ever have a relationship similar to the SayaMilky couple.
“Yui-han…Earth to Yui…BAKA!” yelled Sayaka!
Yui rapidly shot a glare at Sayaka and threateningly said, “Do NOT call me a BAKA again or else you will receive much more pain than you did a few minutes ago!”
Sayaka gulped and looks at Miyuki like a sad puppy. Miyuki can only awed at the pout expression and lightly pat her head.
“It isn’t my fault to call you a baka. You are the one who wouldn’t answer to your own name. Who has gotten to your nerves? You never react like that when I called you baka before!” Sayaka defended.
Miyuki joined the conversation, “Sayanee, I think because Paruru called her a baka, so she reminded of last night!”
Then, Sayaka begin to tease Yui. “Aww, how sweet! One single word and you’re reminded of your lover!”
“Yah! She is not my lover! We only met last night! We don’t even know anything about each other!” remarked Yui.
Sayaka and Miyuki both looked at each other and smiled. When Yui saw this, she had a bad feeling that these two are going to come up with a terrible idea. Her thought was answered when the SayaMilky couple opened their mouth.
Sayaka and Milky both said at the same time,” GO ASK HER OUT!!!”
Yui almost spit out her tea when she heard what they said. Yui extremely shakes her head and said, “No way! That’s crazy! I am not asking her out! I wouldn’t know what to say and she will think I am weird if I just suddenly call her!”
Sayaka and Milky were actually laughing to themselves. They have never seen Yui-han panic like this before. It was amusing for them to watch.
While Yui-han is panicking, Miyuki whispers into Sayaka’s ear telling her to distract and stall her for a while. Sayaka is confused as in why she should; when Miyuki lifts up her phone indicating that she will be texting someone really quickly. The light bulb turns on and Sayaka nods her head as she understood what Miyuki is about to do.
“Yui-han, I don’t know if you realize it or not, but I believe Paruru can be that someone special to you. With the other numerous set ups I sent towards your way, you have never react so frantic before. Like you mentioned, you only met her once and you are already panicking about the thought of asking her out. I think you might have already had some feelings for her. If not feelings, then some interests in her,” explained Sayaka.
Miyuki agreed,” Yui-han, I think Sayanee is right. You should give it a try! You never know when you don’t try. Just ask her out and wait and see what she says.”
Yui-han was silent for a while. She is thinking about what she should do. I mean taking SayaMilky’s suggestion into consideration; she realized that they both do have valid points. She has never paid any attention to the other set-ups that SayaMilky have put her through. Moments passed, Yui said, “I will try, but I do not guarantee anything.”
SayaMilky both cheered at the decision!
“BUT! I do not know what to say to her. I mean what is my excuse or reason for calling her out?” asked Yui.
Milky laughed, “Mou, Yui-han, you do not technically need any excuse to call someone. For your information, you are calling her to ASK HER OUT! That is already a reason to call! Yui-han, you can be kind of slow when it comes to love.”
Yui-han does not know if she should be grateful for what she said or offended for being called dense. But, she cannot argue with them. She is quite dense when it comes to love. She never even realized for a long time that a girl from her past used to like her for the longest time. But, that is another story.
“Well, “love experts” tell me what I should say to her.” Yui-han asked as she takes out her phone, getting ready to make the call.
Sayaka grasps Yui’s arm, stopping her from calling. Yui-han is confused with the action.
“Nothing, you do not need to do call her.” SayaMilky replied.
Yui is surprised yet bewildered by their comment. Just a second ago, they were encouraging her to ask Paruru out and make the call.
Yui stated, “Would you both make up your mind as to what I should do? You both just told me to call her a second ago, now I should not.” Yui just sighed as she is confusing with what these two are playing.
From where Sayaka and Milky are sitting, they both are facing the entrance of the café so they are able to see new customers coming in. They both have a pretty smile on their face when they see the person they both have been waiting for to arrive.
“Yui-han, I am going to count to three,” announced Sayaka.
“Wait, what!?!”
One
“Tell me why you are counting down!”
Two
“Sayaka, this isn’t funny. If you set me up again, I will make you pay tenfold.”
Three
The cafe doorbell chimes as it opens and the new customer steps into the café. She sees the people who were waiting for her. Well excluding, Yui, as she does not know about her arrival.
The newcomer walks over to the table and greets Sayaka and Milky.
Yui cannot believe who was standing in front of her. The newcomer turns her attention towards Yui and they both look at each other eyes.
Just like how they both first met, once again, at the same time, they both said, “Hi…”
Sorry for another cliffhanger! I know there is a lot of SayaMilky moments going on and not much YuiParu! I promise next chapter will be filled with YuiParu! I am taking their relationship a bit slow! I don't want to rush into it. But, let me know if you all think this is too slow haha! Thanks everyone, please comment so I know how I am doing. Silent readers are always welcomed!

Also, I have read some YuiParu fanfics and most of them shows that Paruru is the shy one and Yui is the dominant one, but for this story, I made them the opposite way! But, Yui will eventually get more bold. Once again, I hope I do not disappoint! :mon sweat:

Chapter 4
Miyuki elbows Sayaka signaling her that they should leave the two of them alone.
“Well, look at the time! Miyuki and I have a movie to catch! See you guys later!” Sayaka quickly drags Miyuki with her and literally ran out of the door for she fears that Yui will really kill her right then and there.
Haruka just waves goodbye to them and sits across from Yui. Kei comes over to ask if Haruka wants anything to drink or eat, but Haruka just politely shakes her head. After Kei left their table, Haruka turns to face Yui.
Thoughts are running through Yui’s mind in a speed of light. She still cannot believe Haruka is currently in front of her. She does not know what she should be saying to her right now. Yui’s eyes were shifting around the café and not meeting Haruka’s eyes at all.
Haruka places her elbow on the table and leans her face against her palm. She just observes Yui’s behavior at the moment and find it amusing how nervous and unease she is making Yui feels. Smiling to herself, she thought she should help the poor girl with her nervousness right now.
“So… do you want to go take a walk with me?” started Haruka.
“Huh?” Yui was clearly still in her own world to comprehend what Haruka just requested. Haruka can only giggle at Yui’s response. Yui feels embarrassed and is definitely sure that she is blushing as she feels her face is getting warmer against her palm.
“I’m sorry. I spaced out. What did you ask?” Yui apologized.
Haruka chuckled, “Yui-san, anata wa houtoni kawaii desu! (you’re very cute.) I asked if you want to go take a walk with me.”
Yui does not know if her face can get any redder than it already is. She cannot handle anymore compliments for she fears she might just explode. Yui doesn’t want to make a fool out of herself by saying anything stupid so she can only nod.
After Yui paid for her order, they both left the café and started walking.
As they both are walking beside each other, words were not spoken. Haruka did not mind the silence as she is simply enjoying the fresh air. Yui, on the other hand, is fiddling with her fingers and trying to think of something to say.
After a while, Haruka sees a park nearby and gestures Yui that they should rest there for a while. Yui just follows Haruka like a puppy without saying anything. As they both sit on a bench, they can hear laughter from the children running around the playground and birds chirping.
Noticing Yui fiddling with her fingers, Haruka just places her hand on top of them and it immediately stops moving. Yui looks up at Haruka with a puzzled expression.
“Don’t be nervous. I don’t bite,” assured Haruka. “Just say what is on your mind. I don’t get offended easily unlike someone.”
“It is hard not to get offend after being called a baka out of nowhere. Normally, people do not say that to someone right when they first meet,” countered Yui.
“Haha. Gomennasai, Yui-san. I did not mean to insult you. I am just quite blunt.”
“You are not forgiven.”
Haruka did not say anything after that. Instead, she just simply kissed Yui on the cheek.
Yui was caught off guard by that sudden action from Haruka.
“Yah, do you go around and kiss every girl you know out of nowhere like that?!?” Yui was blushing again, but she cannot deny that her heart was beating rapidly when Haruka kissed her.
“No, not to every girl I know, just this one cute girl I know.” Haruka simply replied.
Yui does not know why but she did not like to know the fact that Haruka does this gesture to another girl that isn’t her. Wait, what am I saying? I am not jealous, am I? No way, I barely know her. Calm down, Yui!
Haruka can see that Yui is frowning and she is smiling on the inside, knowing that Yui is secretly jealous for what she said. But, Haruka is going to reassure Yui in just a second.
“Then, you should stop kissing me out of nowhere. You do not want that cute girl to get jealous and kill me for getting your affection.” Yui stated.
“I do not think she will mind,” said Haruka.
Yui retorted,” How would you know that? You are not her?”
“You are right, I am not her. But, she did not slap me or told me not to do it again. So, I think I am on the safe side.” Haruka replied.
“Wait, she isn’t here. Why are talking like you just kissed her?” asked Yui with a slight confusion in her tone.
Haruka looks Yui in the eyes and simply said, “Because I am looking right at her.”
Yui was speechless. She didn’t think Haruka was talking about her the whole time. Ehhh!!! She was the cute girl! Wait! Easy said than done, as Yui couldn’t keep a cool posture, yet ended up stuttering “Ahem, I …uh… I…” Yui was clearly lost of words as she cannot think of a good comeback.
Haruka scoots a bit closer towards Yui and whispered, “That kiss was to ask for forgiveness. Am I forgiven now?”
Yui solely nod her head as words will not come out of her mouth. She does not know what it is about Shimazaki Haruka that keeps making her speechless and nervous.
Haruka smiles and feels satisfy with Yui’s answer. She stands up and reaches her hands out for Yui to grab onto it. Yui places her hand on top of Haruka's and lets Haruka pull her up.
Haruka told Yui that she will be taking her home now.
As they were walking, Yui notices that they were still holding hand. Feeling a bit uncomfortable with the loose hold, she was going to retract her hand away. When she was going to do that, Haruka holds on to her hand more tightly. Even going a step further, Haruka intertwines their hands together. Once again, Yui can only blush and comply.
“Yui-san, we arrive at your house,” said Haruka.
Yui didn’t even notice that they were already at her house as she was focusing on the fact that they were holding hands.
“Ah, we are here.” Yui does not know why, but she feels disappointed knowing that she has to separate with Haruka. She looks down on their intertwine hands, not wanting to let go at all.
Yui finally looks up at Haruka when she felt a squeeze from her hand. A beautiful smile greets her as she faces Haruka.
“Yui-san, I do not want to let go of your hands either. But, I promise you that we will see each other soon. VERY soon actually,” Haruka confidently said.
Yui did not understand what Haruka meant by very soon. When she was about to ask, Haruka just raise her hand to stop her.
“You will see. Don’t worry, okay. I will see you soon.” Haruka said one last time.
Yui just let it go and trust Haruka on her words. Before Haruka left, she didn’t forget to leave a peck on Yui’s cheek. Once again, Haruka enjoys the sight of a blush on the girl in front of her.
The Next Day at School
Sayaka, Miyuki and Yui are in the same class with each other. Sayaka and Yui sit against the window in the far back of the room. Sayaka sits behind Yui while Miyuki sits on the right side of Sayaka.
The classroom was full of girls talking loudly and gossiping about who knows what. All the way in the far back left corner, there are two girls interrogating their friend.
“So, how did it go with my cousin?” Miyuki excitedly asked while shaking Yui’s arm vigorously, if she keeps doing that Yui’s arm is bound to fall off.
Sayaka joins in, “Mou, Miyuki, stop that. Her arm might fall off if you keep shaking it like that. Let her speak.”
Miyuki pout at Sayaka. “I cannot help it. I have been dying to know since we left them alone yesterday!”
Sayaka kissed the pout away and pat Miyuki down to calm her down. Miyuki was going to kiss her back, but Yui intercepted it before things get out of hand.
“Okay, stop! If you guys are going to start making out, then please go get a room!” Yui commanded.
Sayaka and Miyuki blushed and just gesture Yui to tell them how it went with Haruka.
Yui just briefly filled them in, leaving out the kissing and holding hands part because she didn’t want to get tease by the SayaMilky couple. “We left the café and took a walk, stop at a nearby park and talked a little, and then she took me home. That was all.”
The pair just nodded their head and Miyuki asked, “Well, did she say anything to you before she left your house?”
“She just said that I will see her VERY soon apparently.” Yui replied. “But, I do not know what that means at all. Do you know anything, Miyuki?”
Miyuki just smiled and said, “Maybe…you’ll see in a second, Yui-han.”
“Mou, just tell me already!” Yui demanded.
Before anymore can be said, the professor came into the class and everyone instantly went back to their seats and was quiet. The professor, Shinoda Mariko, told the class that there will be a new transfer student today. Majority of the students went “Ehh” and looked among each other. Students started whispering to each other. But, Sayaka, Miyuki and Yui didn’t react much to the news.
Mariko-sensei clapped, signaling for the class to be quiet and called out to the new student, “Please come inside.”
The door slides open and in walk a beautiful girl in an nonchalant manner. Students were commenting how beautiful and cute she is. Yui wasn't paying attention at all and just looked at the window.
The new student wrote her name on the board and bowed, “Shimazaki Haruka, yoroshiku onegaishimasu.”
Right when Yui heard her name, she turned her head so fast that she could have gotten a whiplash.
Sayaka and Miyuki laughed softly at Yui's reaction.
Mariko-sensei announced, “Hai, Everyone, please take care of Shimazaki-san! Now, Yokoyama Yui, please raise your hand as she will be seating next to you.”
Although they both knew each other, Yui still comply with the request. As Haruka walks to her seat and sat down, the class resumes to its normal session.
Sayaka elbows Miyuki and points toward the pair in front of them. Sayaka whispers to Miyuki, "I bet you a kiss on the lips that it will only take them three seconds to say something to each other." Miyuki looks at Sayaka in disbelief, not believing it will happen. Sayaka started to countdown softly to Miyuki. This is happening as Sayaka is counting down:

Smiles were displayed on both of their faces.

Chapter 5
Sayaka smirks at the fact that she got it right. Indeed, at the count of three, Yui and Haruka said something to each other. Since she won the bet, she turns to Miyuki, but only to laugh softly at the sight in front of her. Miyuki currently has her eyes widen and jaw dropped while facing the pair in front of her. Sayaka taps Miyuki on the shoulder and swings her hand in front of her face to gain her attention. After a few seconds, Miyuki finally responds by quickly asking how Sayaka did that.
“Sayanee, how could you have known that it only took three seconds?” asked Miyuki.
“I do not know how to describe it, but I relied on my instincts,” Sayaka simply said. “Do you remember when you texted Paruru to meet us at the café?” Miyuki gives her a quick nod. “Well, when they both looked at each other in the eyes, it only took them three seconds to say something to one another. It was like they were rushing to break the silence. In other words, I just took a risk. I wasn’t 100 percent sure they would, but I just felt it would happen again.” Sayaka tried to explain as best as she could to Miyuki, but she isn’t sure if the latter understood any of it.
As expected, Miyuki is in a perplexed state of mind. “Sayanee, I kind of understand what you are saying, yet not fully. Maybe, if I keep on observing their interaction more carefully, then I will see what you see.”
“I am sure you will see what I see one day. But, it isn’t a big deal. I only pointed it out for fun so don’t worry too much about it. Now that we have established a conclusion, I believe someone still owns me a reward kiss,” Sayaka shamelessly said. Sayaka points at her own lips, signaling for Miyuki to give her a kiss.
Miyuki chuckles at Sayaka’s action, but still complies and gives her a kiss on the lips.
While SayaMilky were having this conversation, YuiParu can be seen talking among each other.
“Looks like you kept your words. VERY soon, indeed,” Yui started.
Haruka understood what Yui is implying, “Of course, I can never lie to a lady.”
“Do you always smooth talk to every girl?” Yui asked.
Haruka smiles and confidently replies, “Not every girl, just this one cute girl I know, but lately the more I get to see her, the more of a beautiful lady she is becoming.”
As usual, Haruka never fails to put that familiar redness on Yui’s cheeks. Yui is certain that if Haruka ever scoot just a little closer to her, she can hear the irregular beating of Yui’s heart as it is loudly pounding against her chest.
“Ar …ar... arigato,’’ stuttered Yui.
Haruka just smoothly replies, “No need to thank me for saying the obvious.”
Yui shyly looks away. She places her hand over her heart as a way to calm the rapid beating. Seeing this action, Haruka decides to stop her advances and focus on Mariko-sensei’s lecture for the remaining class time. Yui takes that as an indication to do the same and talk more during their lunch period.
“Hai, minna-san! That is all for today’s lessons. We will pick up where we left off tomorrow. Everyone enjoy your lunch!” Mariko-sensei announced.
The class president, Takahashi Minami, stands up and in a loud voice called out, “Raise! Bow!” The rest of the students follow the order. After everyone has bowed, tables are being shuffled and chairs can be heard squealing against the floor.
Some curious students can be seen heading towards Haruka, bombarding her with questions about her background. Yui feels that the crowd was a bit overwhelming for her, so she plans on leaving the scene. Haruka notices the slight movement of her left eye corner and quickly grabs onto Yui’s hand stopping her from leaving without her. Haruka politely stands up and tries to excuse herself from the crowd with Yui.
But, the students won’t open a path for them. They are persistent in getting information about the new transfer students. Haruka is starting to get a little irritated and was about to physically force her way out, but luckily, Sayaka and Miyuki comes to their rescue.
“Everyone, you are all making her a bit uncomfortable, please give her some space!” Sayaka defended.
Miyuki added in a threatening way, “She is my cousin, so I do not tolerant anyone messing with her or making her feel unsafe. So, I suggest all of you to leave her alone and not bother her so much or else I will make sure all of you will suffer under my hands! Is everybody clear on that?”
When the students hear the fact that Haruka was related to Miyuki, sweats can be seen dropping down their forehead and almost all of them begin to back off. Haruka is surprised of how the students reacted and is going to ask Miyuki about it when they are alone.
“Thanks Milky for saving me!” Paruru grateful said as the four of them are walking out of their class.
Miyuki had a happy smile plastered on her face and her body even jump a little, “Paruru, anytime! I am just so happy that we are going to the same school with each other! If someone bothers you, let me know, I will personally deal with them.”
Haruka decides this is the time to ask her, “So…why did the students act like that? They were scared in a instant.”
Haruka can see Sayaka shifting uncomfortably and averting her eyes around the hallways. Haruka smirks and asked, “Did it have something to do with Sayaka?”
Miyuki did not answer Paruru rather she just lift up her index finger and thumb and made a zip line across her lips, showing that it was a secret. She clings onto Sayaka’s arms while leaning her head on her shoulder as she recalls about the past incident in her mind which later made most, perhaps all, of the students tremble in fear.
Haruka feels that Miyuki was never going to tell her so she went for a different approach.
“Yui-san, do you know why?” asked the girl next to her who surprisingly has been quiet.
Worrying that she might have said or did something wrong so she tries to get to the bottom of this.
“Yui-san, are you okay? Did I say or did something that displeases you? Please let me know.”
“Haruka-san, I am okay! Do not worry! You didn’t say or did anything wrong. In fact, you have been very gentle and sweet towards me.”
Haruka can only smile big as she was glad she didn’t do anything bad towards her. But, her concern did not lessen as she can see Yui’s eyebrows ceasing downwards.
“Then, what’s wrong?” Haruka asked.
Yui just simply lifts up their hands which have been intertwined ever since they left the class. Haruka was about to retract her hand as she did not want Yui to feel uncomfortable at all. But, Yui just held tighter as to prevent their hands from separating.
“I am fine with holding hands, but I do not know what this means for us. I do not know what we are. Friends or …maybe …ahem lovers? “Yui struggled with the last part and felt embarrassed after realizing what she just said.
Haruka halts their movement. “Yui-san, we are whatever you want us to be. But, to clarify with you, I am absolutely sure we are friends unless you do not want to be my friend. As for lovers, I have not properly asked you yet, so put that on hold for now. We should get to know each other a little bit more and well, let me take you out on a date first.”
Yui looks at Haruka; she can see the sincere in Haruka’s eyes. She was touched by the spoken words and can feel that Haruka respects her by taking this relationship in a steady pace. Haruka is trying to show her that there is no rush to define their relationship because they have all the time in the world to simply enjoy the presence of each other.
The SayaMilky couple finally notices that Yui and Haruka were not following behind them and decides to tease them a little.
“Sayanee, look at them! In the middle of the hallway, being so sweet with each other! They are so cute!” Miyuki made sure that she was loud enough for Yui and Haruka to hear her.
Sayaka joins in the teasing, “I know what you mean, Miyuki. If my memory serves me right, it was Yui-han who told us to get a room when we were being all sweet with each other! I think she needs to follow her own words!”
Yui immediately blushes and turns towards the SayaMilky couple to give them a hard glare.
“Yah! We are not doing anything intimate, but talking to each other! Unlike you both who are so inseparable that you cannot stop touching each other even for a second!”
Sayaka defended, “Oh, looks who is talking! If I am not mistaken, you two are holding hands! Miyuki, I think that is pretty INTIMATE to me, don’t you think?”
Miyuki teased, “I agree with Sayanee! Looks like our little Yui-han has grown up!”
The SayaMilky couple was preparing to run for their lives, as they can see the fire in Yui’s eyes that indicates she is ready to kill the both of them.
Sayaka and Miyuki ran for their lives when they saw Yui making the slight twitch of movement to run towards them. But, Haruka just pull Yui back into her arms and hugs her.
“Mou, Haruka-san, let me go! I am going to kill them!” Yui proclaimed.
Haruka giggles at the image in front of her. She finds Yui quite cute to be angry at such a trivial thing.
“They were just teasing. Let them be! You will only ignite their excitement even more just by letting them know that it ticks you off.” Haruka reasoned. Yui sighs and gives into Haruka’s embrace. Haruka moves her hand up and down Yui’s back to calm her down.
“Don’t be mad anymore or else you will get wrinkles on your pretty face.” Haruka said.
“If I do get wrinkles on my face, will you ignore me and think that I am ugly?” Yui curiously asked.
“Baka” Haruka lightly hits Yui on the forehead, but soon replace it with a soft kiss. “I will not think you are ugly if you have wrinkles on your face, I will still think you are as beautiful as the first time I met you. Even if you have scars on your face, I will still cherish you.”
Yui was always known to be a tough girl, but she does not know why Haruka makes her feel loved and vulnerable. She can almost feel the tears that is about to come out of her eyes.
“No, don’t cry! If someone saw this, they might think I am bullying you! Where is that pretty smile that I like to see?” Haruka smoothly requested

“Mou, how can I not cry when you are being all so sweet? No one has ever said something like that to me before. I am not used to it!” Yui claimed.
Haruka said, “Well, I hope you get use to it soon because there is more where that comes from, my lady!”
Yui avoids looking at Haruka for she knows that her face is blushing, so she drags Haruka along with her to meet up with Sayaka and Miyuki at the canteen.
When they both arrive at the canteen, there is a huge crowd gathering around in the middle of a table. When Yui spots Sayaka and Miyuki, she drags Haruka along with her to ask the pair what was going on.
“Sayaka, Miyuki, what is happening?” asked Yui.
“Looks like Yoshida Akari is at it again. That girl never learns her lesson and she needs to back off.” Sayaka said.
Being new to the school, Haruka is unfamiliar with the usual school happenings, so she looks at Yui for an explanation.
“It is better to ask Miyuki as she seems to know more about the things around the school than I do. I rarely pay attention to the gossips and dramas that goes around school.” Yui stated.
Miyuki gladly explains, “Yoshida Akari is known to be one of the prettiest girls in the school. She is very popular among the male students, but unfortunately the one person she likes, doesn’t reciprocate her feelings. That person happens to be Jonishi Kei. Kei-chan is currently dating Fuu-chan and they both have been together for a while now. A lot of students actually ship them and the couple name, FuuKei, was formed. It is kind of like Sayaka and I, SayaMilky! Anyways, Akarin has like Kei-chan for the longest time and even confessed to her, but Kei-chan let Akarin down gently as she is in love with Fuu-chan. Obviously, Akarin was hurt and even got jealous of Fuu-chan, so most of times, she messes with Fuu-chan to get back at Kei-chan.”
Haruka was trying her best to obtain this new information as it was quite a lot to take in. So, Sayaka just summarize it up.
Sayaka concludes, “Basically, Akarin is just jealous of Fuu-chan for supposedly in her mind, Fuu-chan “stole” Kei-chan away from her and as revenge, she gives trouble to Fuu-chan.”
“Then, why are we not stepping in to help her?” Haruka asked.
“Oh, trust me, that won’t be necessary.” Miyuki assured Haruka. Haruka was about to open her mouth to ask why not, but Yui just stopped and said, “You will see in just a second.”
Right on cue, the canteen door slams open. The loud noise echoes throughout the room even scare some of the students sitting nearby.
A beautiful girl with big round eyes who currently has a vicious look and is fuming with anger. Students begin to create a pathway for the girl to pass by. They were already frightened just by her presence but cannot imagine what will happen to actual target the girl is heading towards right now.
When Fuu-chan sees Kei-chan, she stands up and tries to stop any violence that is about to happen.
Kei-chan wraps her arm around Fuu-chan’s waist possessively for a moment, and then stands in front her in a protective stance. “Kei-chan, I am okay, please just let it go.” Fuu-chan pleaded.
Akarin venomously said and points at Fuu-chan, “Stop it with your innocent appearance, you make me sick! Stop pretending to be all pure in front of Kei-chan!”
“Enough! I have enough of this! You need to stop this, Akarin! You will apologize to Fuu-chan! I have warned you before! You do not hurt her! This is not her fault! Whatever grudge you have against me, then show all your rage to me only! You leave Fuu-chan out of this! She did nothing wrong to deserve such a horrible treatment from you!” Kei-chan yelled.
Akarin starts to laugh in a manic way, “HAHAHA! She did NOTHING wrong!!! She stole you from me! You should be with me, not with her!!! Stop protecting her! She is nothing, but a fake innocent, obnoxious girl who will properly open her legs wide for any guy or girl!”
The room immediately went silence as just a second ago; a hard slap was given to Akarin. Everyone was stunned at what Kei-chan just did.
Kei-chan firmly warned, “You do NOT ever disrespect Fuuko like that again!”
Fuu-chan held Kei-chan back before she can do anymore harmful things to Akarin.
Akarin slowly held onto her injured cheek and said in a hatred tone, “Just because of this girl, you hit me! Jonishi Kei, I will remember this! This isn’t over!” Akarin begins to walk away from the crowd. After the scene has ended, students went back to their respectful tables to eat their meal.
Kei-chan quickly turns to see if Fuu-chan was hurt anywhere at all. Then she felt droplets of tears on her hand. Fuu-chan is crying for she felt terrible for what just happened.
Kei-chan hugs her and calmly said, “This isn’t your fault. I am sorry that you have to deal with this. Please stop crying. It pains my heart to see you cry.” Kei-chan wipes her tears away with her fingers and kisses Fuu-chan on the cheeks to hopefully make all the tears disappear from her beautiful face.
Sayaka, Miyuki, Yui and Haruka are concerned about the FuuKei couple and went over to see if everything was alright. Fuu-chan assures them that she is fine. Knowing that, Kei-chan will take good care of her, they left to go buy food. The four of them end up sitting with the FuuKei couple. Not long after, the six of them were engaged in a lively conversation filled with joy and laughter.
Clarification: I do NOT hate Akarin! She is one of my favorites in NMB, but someone has to play the antagonist! Sorry, if I made any Akarin's fans angry!

I will always give a heads up when I will not be able to update so you will know what to expect. To put everyone at ease, I will not be giving up on this story. I will finish this story. Chapter 6
The last class of the day has ended. Noises erupt throughout the classroom. Chairs are being placed on top of the tables. Some students are heading straight home, while others are discussing about where they should go eat. There are even a few students who race to the door as they are in rush to buy the new release single of AKB48.
However, the only ones who are slowly packing their bags were the four girls in the far left corner.
Being the energetic and cheerful one in the group, Miyuki happily asked, "Ne, Yui-han, Paruru, do you both want to go to the café with Sayanee and me?" Paruru did not mind at all since she has nothing better to do, while Yui just nods her head in agreement.
"Let's go then!!!" Miyuki announced with a cresent smile. Yui and Haruka smile brightly at Miyuki excitement. Sayaka shakes her head at her hype up girlfriend. She can never keep up with Miyuki's energy, but she loves this part of Miyuki because she knows that if she ever feels drained, then Miyuki will give her strength.
The four of them quietly walks out of the classroom and out the main gate of the school. They were taking a leisure time to walk to the cafe as it wasn't a far distance away from school. A casual, short conversation was exchanged among the four of them.
When they arrive at the cafe, a waitress other than Fuuko and Kei, politely welcomes them, As they settle down on their seats, the waitress immediately strikes up a conversation.
"Oh, if it isn't the SayaMilky couple and Yui-san, long time no see!" The waitress said, but she did not recognize Haruka. Judging by the fact, she is holding hands with Yui; the waitress assumes she is Yui-san's girlfriend. Being the friendly and outgoing person that she is, she walks over to Haruka and initiates a handshake.
"Hi, I am Matsui Jurina! You must be Yui's-san girlfriend! It is very nice to meet you!"
Yui obviously blush at the comment, but Haruka was not phase by what Jurina said. Sayaka and Miyuki laughed softly at Yui's flushed face.
"She is not my girlfriend, Jurina-chan!" Yui embarrassingly clarified.
Haruka turns to Yui and softly whispers into her left ear, "Not yet, but soon will be." A scarlet red color is plastered on Yui's cheeks now. Sayaka and Miyuki are quietly enjoying the scene that is being unfolded in front of their eyes.
Haruka reaches out to shake Jurina's hand while introducing herself "Hi, I am Shimazaki Haruka. I am Miyuki's cousin. It is a pleasure to meet you. Yui-san isn't my girlfriend YET." She made sure to put an emphasis on the "yet".
Sayaka and Miyuki were trying not to show their excitement but in the inside, they were overjoyed with Haruka's determination. Yui ducks her head away from the others as to hide her blushing cheeks.
"Souka! Gomennasai, I just assumed since you both were holding hands. I actually got a little excited inside because I never seen Yui-san have physical contact with anyone, let alone show interests for anyone. You must be special to her." Jurina explained. Jurina leans down towards Haruka's left ear and whispers an encouragement, "Ganbatte! I can see that she likes you too!"
Haruka shoots her a thank you smile. Yui looks puzzled and is curious as to what Jurina said to her. But, Haruka only mouth "Himitsu" (secret) to her.
After Jurina takes their order, she politely excuses herself from the table and went over to give Takanayagi Akane, also known as Churi, the order.
"You are not going to tell me what she said, huh?" Yui tries to push her luck one more time before letting it go completely.
Haruka takes this moment to tease her, "Are you jealous, Yui-san?"
Miyuki comments, "Paruru, there is no way Yui-han will be jealous of Jurina!"
"Why not," Paruru asked.
Miyuki simply answers, "Yui-han knows that Jurina-chan is already taken by Rena-chan."
Paruru was clearly unfamiliar with who she is as she is still new in town. Miyuki points to another waitress who has very pale skin and lovely eyes. She is tall and lean with thin black smooth hair.
"That is Rena-chan. She is Jurina's girlfriend. But, don't make her mad or steal her melon pan, she turns into Gekikara, very scary! Miyuki shivers at the thought of seeing Rena-chan in Gekikara mode.
Trusting Miyuki's words, Haruka noted to be on Rena-san good side.
Their conversation was interrupted as their orders were placed on the table. Fuuko-chan comes over to place two strawberry cakes for the two pairs to share.
"It is on the house. It is a thank you to all of you for looking after me, you know after what happened today. I am sorry for causing any concerns over me.
Haruka-san, Gomennasai, on your first day, you have to witness such a scene." Fuuko-chan apologizes with a guilt look.
Haruka assures Fuuko-san that there is nothing to apologize for as it wasn't her fault and that she shouldn't feel guilty for.
Sayaka concurs, "Fuu-chan, you cannot blame yourself at all. It is Akarin's fault for not being able to handle a rejection properly. Stop worrying! We are your friends; therefore it is our duty to look after one another. Plus, you have a prince charming by your side, the mighty Jonishi Kei!"
Fuu-chan smiles sweetly at the thought of Kei-chan. She always protects her from harm. Fuu-chan thanks them one last time and went back to serving other customers.
"I am glad she has someone to protect her, but I feel sorry that she has to deal with the constant bullying from Yoshida-san." Haruka expressed.
"Daijoubu, Kei-chan is always with her majority of the time and she is very protective of her. Last time, at this very café, a male customer inappropriately touched Fuu-chan and Kei-chan happened to witness the scene. Let's just say the guy ended up in the hospital for weeks." Miyuki explained.
"Wow, she is aggressive." Haruka stated.
Sayaka comments, "Well, love makes you do crazy things. People tend to get overprotective for their love ones." Haruka did not miss the quick glance Sayaka gave to Miyuki. It proves that whatever Miyuki did to have made students tremble in fear of her had something to do with Sayaka.
"Ne, Paruru, won't you do the same for Yui-han if someone hurts her?" Miyuki asked seriously.
Yui almost choke on the strawberry cake she was quietly eating. She glances at Haruka, anticipating for her answer. She can see that Haruka is frowning as if something is bothering her. Yui rubs her hand up and down Haruka's back, hoping it will ease her a little and surprisingly she succeed.
Haruka smiles at Yui, "I am okay. The thought of someone hurting you just makes my blood boils; I swear I will protect you from any harm." Yui was grateful for her words.
A vomit sound effect can be heard coming from Sayaka as she felt Paruru's words were too cheesy. Miyuki kicks Sayaka's shin under the table as she is ruining the moment. Sayaka has a sad puppy look plastered on her face while rubbing on her injured shin. But, of course, one single kiss from Miyuki can heal any pain for Sayaka.
After spending a little longer at the cafe, they paid for the bill and head home.
Since Paruru is living with Miyuki, Sayaka and Yui decide to escort them home. This is the first time Yui is escorting Haruka home as it has always been the other way around.
Sayaka and Miyuki are walking in front of the other pair with their hands intertwined. Miyuki is clinging onto Sayaka's arms and leaning on her shoulder. Sayaka feels peaceful to have Miyuki by her side. They both didn't talk at all, just simply enjoying the presence of each other.
There are small talks being made between Yui and Haruka.
"Haruka-san, how did you like your first day of school?" Yui asked.
"It was like a regular school day to me. But, of course the school I went to in America did not have you by my side. So, being able to sit next to you is definitely a plus for a first day." Haruka replied.
Yui does not know how she is still alive because Haruka's constant flatteries seems to make her heart beats so fast that she swears she might just get a heart attack.
Not knowing what to say, Yui shyly smiles at her.
Haruka clarifies, "Please let me know if I am ever overstepping the line and being too much, words just come out naturally for me. If you like me to stop with the constant flattery, then I will."
Yui quickly shouts, "No!" being aware of her loud outburst, Yui feels a little embarrassed and stutters, "I mean...I ...uh ... I like them, your sweet words."
Haruka was relieved with the answer. They did not talk anymore, but occasionally steal glances at each other.
Not long after, the two pair is in front of Miyuki's house. Sayaka and Miyuki hug each other for a minute, and then a quick kiss on the lips was initiated.
Yui stands there awkwardly as she is debating in her head to hug Haruka or not. Haruka notices the distressed and frown on Yui's face and helps her out. Haruka initiates the hug and left a kiss on Yui's cheeks.
Caught off guard, Yui ducks her head down, avoiding meeting eyes with Haruka. Haruka lifts Yui's chin up and their eyes meet.
Haruka bid her goodbye. Just before she turns away, Yui gathers up some courage and kiss Haruka on the cheeks for the first time.
Yui did not get a chance to see Haruka's reaction as she quickly drags Sayaka away with her. But if she had looked, she would have seen a slight pink on Haruka's cheeks.
Chapter 7
Yui and Sayaka are going towards the same direction since their houses were right next to each other. Yui was originally from Kyoto, but moved to Tokyo because of her father new job. Ever since she moved to Tokyo at a young age, she met Sayaka. They became close friends, sharing many good memories and even deep secrets with each other. They were so comfortable with each other that they can talk about anything. Miyuki did not join them until later on in the years. Even with Miyuki in the picture, they still became inseparable.
Ever since, Sayaka started dating Miyuki, she hasn’t gotten the chance to talk to Yui that much. So as they were walking together, Sayaka speaks up and brings up a topic that only she knows. Not that, Yui did not trust Miyuki, it is just she knew Sayaka longer and they have an unbreakable friendship.
“Do you still dream about her?” asked Sayaka.
Yui knew who Sayaka was referring to. This her was a little girl in her past when she was still in Kyoto. She occasionally dreams about her, but her face was always blurry. Therefore, Yui cannot identify her completely. Every time, she wakes up, she will be cover in sweats and have a shortage of breath. She can only recollect bits of the dream. However, it isn’t a complete dead end. The only thing Yui have that belongs to the little girl is this locket necklace that Yui always wear, but hid under her school uniform. The special part about this locket necklace is that it needs a key to open it. The downside is Yui does not have the key to it. She assumes that the little girl from her past has the key to this locket.
Yui casually answers, “Before it was only occasionally, but lately it has became frequently. Sometimes, I end up waking up in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep.”
Sayaka is starting to worry about Yui. “That is bad. If you are not getting your regular sleeping habits, then you might develop insomnia if you cannot fall back asleep.” Sayaka has always looked after Yui like a sister. She will always care and protect Yui from harm. She wishes she can help Yui with her dreams and find out who this little girl is, so Yui can get good sleeps at night.
“Have you tried asking your parents about this little girl?” Sayaka suggested.
Yui sighs and says, “My parents were never social with my life. They said they remember me being with a little girl, but they cannot recall a name at all. They said that if I were able to provide a picture or a name, it might be able to jog their memories, but not even I have any one of those.”
Sayaka feels disappointed at herself for being useless at this situation. “I am sorry, Yui-han. I wish I can help in some ways.”
“Baka, don’t blame yourself! You help me a lot throughout my life already. I owe you more than I can repay.” Yui wraps her arm around Sayaka’s shoulders.
Sayaka comments, “Ne, Yui-han, you don’t owe me anything. Just let me know if you ever need me, I will be there for you no matter where I am or what I am doing, so never hesitate!”
Yui does not know what she did to have deserved such a great friend like Sayaka. “The same goes to you, Sayaka. I am always here if you ever need to talk or need some comfort after heated arguments with Miyuki.” Yui offered.
Sayaka chuckles on the second part as it has happened before. Whenever Sayaka and Miyuki get into an argument, Sayaka would go to Yui’s house to seek comfort.
They both reflect back on their childhood memories and their present ones as they continue their journey home. Never have they both felt so lucky to have each other to rely on through thick and thin.

When Miyuki and Paruru enter the house, “Onee-chan! We are home!” Miyuki announced. Only silence greeted her.
Paruru said, “Maybe, she went out.”
“I guess so! Mou, she could have at least let me know.” Miyuki said. Although Miyuki is the younger sister, she acts as the older one. She cares a lot about her onee-chan.
Paruru and Miyuki settle their bags down and walk to the kitchen to get something to drink. But, as they got closer to the kitchen, they heard noises. It was more like moaning, to be exact.
They both look at each other with their one of their eyebrows raise and shrug. Little did they know, they were about to be scarred for life.
Disregarding the noises, they enter the kitchen and what they saw were two girls half naked, touching and kissing each other.
The two girls were too busy with themselves to notice Miyuki and Paruru have walked in.
The girl that has been sitting on the counter feels lingering eyes on her and turns her head. She is horrified with who she saw standing there.
Quickly, pushing the girl in front of her, she gets off the counter and tries to get dress as fast as possible. The girl who got pushed is bewildered with what just happened until she turns to the direction of the two unexpected guests. As the two girls were somewhat decently covered up, they look at the two other girls standing at the entrance of the kitchen.
The atmosphere has an awkward tension. No one said anything. Miyuki and Paruru have been averting their eyes elsewhere, avoiding the direction of the two girls inside the kitchen.
Wanting to get rid of this awkwardness, Miyuki’s onee-chan, Watanabe Mayu, breaks the ice. “I did not think you would come home this early.” Mayu nervously said.
Miyuki could not reply back as she is having a mental breakdown. She is trying hard to get rid of the image she just saw with her eyes. Her half naked sister being touched by her girlfriend, Miyuki wants to dig through her brain and retrieve that memory out, but she knows it will haunt her forever.
Paruru replies instead, “Sorry, we did not mean to disturb the both of you. Please continue whatever you both were doing. We will be upstairs in our room!” Paruru drags the stunned Miyuki up to their rooms.
Mayu’s girlfriend, Kashiwagi Yuki, also known as Yukirin said, “Oh my god! I cannot believe your sister and your cousin saw us! This is so embarrassing! Now, it is going to be so awkward every time I see or talk to them.” Yukirin is dramatically panicking. On the other hand, Mayu surprisingly has a nonchalant and calm posture about this whole situation.
“Mou, Yukirin, would you calm down? It isn’t a big deal! We are all girls anyways. It is okay if she saw us half-naked. I used to share a bath tub with Miyuki, so she is used to seeing me naked.” Mayu casually explained.
Yukirin countered,” You might be able to take this lightly, but I am your girlfriend! She has not seen me naked before, nonetheless, seeing us together in such an intimate position! I thought you said she would be over at a friend’s house!”
“Well, she usually stays at her girlfriend’s house for a while then comes home a little late and sometimes when it is too late at night, she just sleepover at her girlfriend’s house. I guess now that Paruru lives here, she doesn’t want to leave her alone.” Mayu simply said. “Don’t put this one on me! Things happened in unpredictable ways. If I can see the future, then I would already see the winning numbers for the lottery!”
Yukirin sighs, “No, I am not blaming! I am sorry! I just cannot believe we were caught. That is all. So what do you want to do now? I cannot continue this here, now that they are home.”
Mayu grinned mischievously, “your house?” Yukirin shakes her head at her perverted girlfriend, but nods her head in agreement. Mayu did not forget to leave a note to her sister that she is sleeping over at Yukirin’s. She did not want to get lecture by Miyuki for not telling her about her whereabouts because she knows her sister worries a lot about her.

Paruru places Milky on her bed and swings her hands in front of Miyuki’s face.
“Earth to Milky! Come back to reality!” That didn’t have any effects at all, so Paruru shouts into her ears and successful bought Milky back to Earth.
“Ouch! What was that for?” Miyuki complains about the shout.
“It was to get your attention.” Haruka shrugs and sits on the computer chair.
Miyuki hits her head softly to hope for the image to magically drop out of her mind, but all she is doing is just damaging her brain cells. Haruka grasps Miyuki’s arm to prevent her from hurting herself any further.
“Paruru, what do I do? I cannot get the image of my half-naked sister with her girlfriend out of my head!” Miyuki discontentedly said.
Paruru suggests, “Think of something else. Think about something that makes you happy and that puts you at ease.”
The first thing, or should I say person, that pops into Miyuki’s mind is Sayaka. However, her peacefulness did not last very long as now she is thinking about Sayaka in an inappropriate way. A slight pink is now visible on her cheeks and she curses her onee-chan for causing her to have these thoughts.
Paruru notices the blush and shakes her head as to how similar the two sisters are, perverted is the only word that pops into Paruru’s mind.
“Stop thinking and just talk to me, maybe it will get your mind out of the gutter.” Haruka advised.
Miyuki asked, “What do you want to talk about?”
“How about we start by you telling me what you did in the past to have made students tremble in fear?” Paruru asked.
Miyuki teasingly asked, “Does it bother you for not knowing?”
Paruru knows that she is playing a game with her. If she says yes, then Miyuki will definitely make her suffer and died out of curiosity. But, if she says no, then Miyuki will definitely let it go! Sigh, all this thinking already gives her a headache.
“Honestly, yes I want to know, but only tell me when you want to.” Haruka decides to just be fair and not force the issue. She knows she will find what happened eventually. They were very close cousin that shares a strong family bond. Similar to Yui and Sayaka, Haruka and Miyuki do exchange secrets as well.
Miyuki firmly said, “Thanks for understanding, but I won’t tell you. Maybe, one day, Yui-han and Sayaka will tell you because I am afraid I will not be able to control myself if you hear it from me.”
Paruru knew whatever happened must have been bad. She does not want to over exaggerate the situation, but she has never seen Miyuki so serious in the years of knowing her.
Haruka just nods and let it go. Miyuki decides to change the subject on Haruka.
“So…when are you going to tell her?” Miyuki asked.
Paruru sighs and says, “When the time comes, I will. But, I am hoping that I do not have to tell her anything. I am praying that she remembers before I have to reveal anything to her.”
Miyuki places her hand on top of Paruru’s as comfort. “Paru, I am here whenever you need me! Let me know if I can be of any assist to you.” Miyuki suggests, “But if you can, try giving her hints and maybe it will trigger her memories.”
“Miyuki, I understand, but I do not want to do that either. I know I am making this harder for myself, but I just want to keep hoping that just somewhere inside of her mind that she knows it is me.” Paruru said.
Miyuki cannot counter back, but support her decision. “Okay, I believe you know what you are doing. Ganbatte! I will anticipate for the day that the both of you will truly reunite.”
Paruru hugs Miyuki tightly. Feeling forever grateful to have such a wonderful cousin to rely on, Paruru will never forget this family love she receives.
Miyuki starts to feel tired and wants to take a nap, so Paruru retreats back to her room. As Paruru shuts the door behind her, her hand unconsciously touches a key necklace that lies underneath her school uniform.

Chapter 8
IMPORTANT: The first half might be confusing, but I wrote below what the bold, italics and quotation indicates, so hopes that helps everyone. I apologize now if my story isn't progressing well for everyone, I don't want to rush into things, so I am going slow. I really hope it is interesting to some of you. Feel free to ask me anything. Yui can tell she is at a park. She can feel the familiarity of the place, but cannot fully grasp where she is. She scans the area and sees kids laughing and playing at the playground. There is a little girl that stands out for her because she is alone playing in the sandbox. Yui thought that the little girl looks very familiar and walks over to her. She gasps when she sees the face of the little girl. It is herself when she is just five years old.
Yui knows she is dreaming now. Yui tries to talk to her young self but the five years old Yui never response back. Perhaps, she is invisible is the explanation that went through her mind. Left with no choice, she just stands there and observes herself, when she was just a little girl.
Five years old Yui can be seen playing alone inside of the sandbox at a nearby park right across from her house. She glances around the area and saw kids her age interacting with each other. Some kids were on the swings being pushed by their parents. Others are taking turn going down the slide. No one paid her any attention. Yui did not mind the loneliness, in fact, she is used to playing alone since her parents barely have time for her.
As she is peacefully building her castle, a group of boys comes over to disturb her. One of them, who seem to be the leader, destroys the beautiful castle Yui made. Yui is a tough girl, so she did not cry like most girls in her situation would. Instead she tries to confront the boys, but she is outnumbered as they surround her. She ends up getting push to the ground and even gets a cut on her elbow.
As the scene is being unfolded in front of her eyes, Yui starts to remember remnants of what happened at this park. “If I am not wrong, this is the day when I first meet her.”
The leader sees that Yui is defenseless and goes in for a kick. Yui saw that the kick was coming and closes her eyes to brace herself for the impact, but nothing came. All she hears is a scream and a thud. She opens her eyes to see what happened and a figure is standing protectively in front of her. Yui moves her head a little to the left to look at the boys. She sees the leader on the ground holding onto his face and groaning in pain. His boys are surrounding him and seeing if he is okay, but not sure as to what they should do to help him. Her savior starts to yell at them.
“Six boys against one girl, where is the fairness in the fight!?! On top of that, no man should ever hit a girl! Didn’t your parents ever teach you that!? Leave now, before I do hurt all of you like I hurt your leader!” The figure said in an authoritative voice while cracking her knuckles. The boys carry the leader away and quickly fled to go back to their mommies. They did not want to end up being beaten by a girl.
For some reason, no matter how hard Yui squint her eyes, the figure’s face is still very blurry. But she can tell that the figure is a girl by her lovely voice.
The figure turns around to Yui and kneels down.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Where are your parents?” The figure asked in a concern tone.
Yui did not say anything but show her the injured elbow. Luckily for Yui, the girl always carries a first aid kit in her pouch.
The girl gently takes her elbow, making sure to avoid the wounded area. “Don’t worry, my mommy is a doctor and she taught me how to clean a wound.” The girl opens up her pouch and takes out an alcohol cleansing pad. “I am sorry but this is going to hurt a bit, but I will be very gentle. My mommy said that it helps clean the wound and prevent infection.”
The girl keeps on mumbling sorry to Yui every time she hears Yui wincing. The girl suddenly remembers what her mommy would do to alleviate the pain. So she starts to lightly blow on the wound every time she gently dabs on it with the pad. She can feel that Yui is more relax now. Then, after cleaning the wound with the pad, she bought out a bandage and places it over the wound.
“There you go! All better now! Are you hurt anywhere else?” The girl asked.
Yui shakes her head and says, “Thank you.”
“No problem! I am glad you are okay! If those boys ever bother you again, you tell me I will beat them up for you!” the girl said.
Yui just nods her head, but she did not understand why this girl is helping her.
“Why did you save me?” Yui innocently asked. The girl looks directly into Yui’s eyes and firmly said, “I cannot just watch someone getting hurt and not do anything! My father always tells me that a man should never hit a lady, but protect them from harm. Therefore that is what I did; I protected a lady from harm!”
Yui can tell that this girl is around the same age as her, but she is much more mature and disciplined. On top of that, she unconsciously shivers under the intensity of the girl’s eyes. Unable to handle the eye contact, she deliberately averts her eyes to her left and sees her castle completely destroyed. The girl notices the frown on Yui’s face and decides to cheer her up.
“Wait here, I will be right back! Do not go anywhere until I am back!” The girl quickly sprints towards a direction. Yui quietly waits for her and as time pass, Yui is starting to feel unease as to what is taking the girl so long. It has been about ten minutes now and no sign of the girl. Yui starts to feel restless and gets up ready to go home, but all of sudden, someone calls out to her. She looks up and sees the girl running towards her, holding onto something.
The girl places her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. “Hey, sorry I made you wait. I went to get you something.” The girl takes out the object behind her back and gives it to Yui.
It was a beautiful white flower. Yui accepts the flower and just looks at it. The girl explains, “My mommy told me the name of this flower is Gardenia. It is beautiful, isn’t it? I hope you like it! Whenever my mommy is sad, my daddy always gives her flowers to make her happy again. I do not like to see you frown. Can you smile for me?”
“Now I know why Gardenia became my favorite flower. It was because of her.”
“Thank you! It is very beautiful.” Yui smiles at her. The girl has never seen such a cute smile before. She rubs against her neck awkwardly and shyly replies, “You’re welcome.”
A horn startles the two girls and they both turns to look at the source. A man is waving his hand, signaling to get into the car. Yui did not recognize the man, but the girl did.
“Daddy,” The girl proclaimed. “Sorry, I have to go now! I hope to see you soon! Bye!” Yui sees the girl running further and further away from her, towards her daddy’s car.
“Wait, no, come back!!! Come back! Your name!! What is your name?!?” Yui shouts out loud, but no sound came out of her mouth. Yui wants to chase after her but her body wouldn’t move. Her feet feel like they were nail to the ground. Yui can only watch helplessly as the girl disappears from her sight. Yui turns to look at her five years old self and is surprised to see that she is looking directly right at her. The five years old Yui just points downward. Yui is confused and looks down to see a black hole beneath her. Before she knows it, she drops straight down.
Yui screams out loud and abruptly wakes up. Her forehead is covered in sweats, trying to catch her breath as she is breathing heavily. One hand places over her face, while the other hand unconsciously is holding tightly onto the locket necklace.
Yui looks at her alarm clock, in bright green neon lights; 1:00 AM is displayed. She lies back down on her pillow and tries to get some sleep. But, her brain does not want her to sleep as she is constantly thinking about the dream. Tossing and turning, Yui knows that this is going to be one of those many restless nights.

Yui is completely exhausted as she didn’t get much sleep done. She tiredly went to freshen up and puts on her school uniform. Her parents are yet at another business trip; therefore she bids goodbye to the silence. She slowly walks over to Sayaka’s house and rings the doorbell. The door opens and Sayaka greets her happily. But, when Sayaka sees the big eye bags, she immediately had a concern look. Sayaka tells Yui to wait for her while she grabs her bag and bid her parents goodbye.
They were heading towards Miyuki’s house and Sayaka constantly have her eyes on Yui. Yui feels those lingering eyes and keeps assuring her that she is fine. Sayaka finally speaks up, “you dreamt about her again, didn’t you?”
Yui did not feel like opening her mouth so she just nods her head. Seeing how tired Yui is, Sayaka decides not to push this matter any further. They arrive in front of Miyuki’s house and Sayaka rings the doorbell. Paruru answers the door and gestures for them to come inside since Miyuki is getting ready. Sayaka went upstairs to find Miyuki, while Yui wearily stumbles onto the couch.
Haruka joins Yui on the couch. Yui has her eyes closed and the eye bags did not go unnoticed by Haruka. She gently rubs Yui’s back in a circular motion, hoping to give comfort. Yui looks up for a brief moment and shoots Haruka an appreciative smile, before resuming to her eyes closed.
After a few minutes later, Sayaka and Miyuki comes running downstairs and everyone left for school.
“Sayanee, is Yui okay? She looks really tired.” Miyuki asked in a concern tone.
Sayaka glances at the girl in front of her and went back to face Miyuki. “She just didn’t have enough sleep. She will be fine.” Sayaka did not sound very confidence, but Miyuki did not ask any further. She just hopes Yui will be okay.

Lunch begins and students are running towards the canteen to buy food. Yui did not get up from her seat. With her eyes closed, she just laid her head on the table. Haruka just motions for the SayaMilky couple to go get food while she stays with Yui. They both mouthed a thank you and left the two alone.
Yui is on autopilot mode. She could not focus to any of the lectures. Her eyes keep feeling drowsy and her body feels weak. She just wants to call it day and go home. With her eyes closed, she feels her hair being softly stroke by someone.
Haruka lightly strokes Yui’s hair and looks at her angelic face. She decides to ask what she has been wanting to since this morning. “Yui-san, are you okay? I can tell you are very exhausted. Did you not get much sleep last night?” Haruka worriedly asked.
“I just had a lack of sleep last night. Don’t worry, I will be fine,” Yui said. Haruka did not ask anymore and just let her rest for the remaining time before lecture starts again.

Walking outside of their class, Milky can tell that Sayaka is feeling restless over something.
“Sayanee, you can tell me anything. I know this isn’t just one of those sleepless nights for Yui. It is something more than that or else you wouldn’t be so distress over it.” Milky stated.
Sayaka suddenly hugs Milky and buries her face into Milky’s neck. Milky returns the hug, but is shock to hear a slight sobs from Sayaka. Sayaka never shows her vulnerability to anyone except for her and Yui.
“Sayanee, what is it? Is something wrong with Yui?” Milky gently asked her, while fearing for the worst.
Sayaka calms down a little. “No, I am just overreacting. Yui is just having her sleepless nights. I just feel like I failed her for not being able to help her out.”
Milky wipes Sayaka’s tears away. “Baka, you did not fail her. She would have been disappointed in you for thinking this way. There are just some things in life we have to face alone. She will be fine because she has you supporting her. Stop selling yourself short, Sayanee.”
Sayaka is feeling a little better after hearing Milky’s words. She is grateful to have an understanding and supportive girlfriend. “Thank you, Milky. What would I do without you?”
“You will stay strong and continue on with life if I am ever not here with you.” Milky honestly said.
Hearing those words, just makes Sayaka hugs her even tighter. Sayaka cannot imagine a world without Milky in it.
Feeling the tightness in the hug, Milky assures her, “Relax, I won’t be going anywhere any time soon. You are stuck with me for life.” She can feel Sayaka smiling against her neck.
“Come on, let’s go meet up with Fuu-chan and Kei-chan!” Milky drags Sayaka down the hallway.

“Where is Yui-han and Haruka-san? Are they eating together in class?” Fuu-chan curiously asked. Kei-chan is just sitting next to her, eating her meal quietly but fully engross with the conversation.
“Yui-han did not get enough sleep last night, so she is trying to catch up on some sleep. Haruka is staying with her.” Sayaka explained.
Kei-chan wiggles her eyebrows and asks, “Did Haruka-san kept her up all night long?”
Fuu-chan caught the pervert meaning behind the question and immediately blush, even fumbles to open the cap for her orange juice.
Kei-chan slightly giggles at Fuu-chan’s reaction and helps her open the bottle.
Miyuki playfully smacks Kei-chan on the head, “Kei-chan! Do not corrupt our innocence Fuu-chan with your perverted mind!”
Kei-chan rubs her head. “Fuu-chan might be innocent, but it doesn’t mean she isn’t old enough to understand.”
“Still, she is our precious Fuu-chan. I do not need your dirty mind flocking over her innocent mind.” Miyuki reasoned.
“Hai, Hai, Gommennasai. So, why can’t she sleep? Does she gets nightmare or does she has insomnia?” Kei-chan genuinely asked as she is also concern about Yui-han.
Miyuki comments, “I am guessing just another sleepless night, but Sayanee might know more to it.” Hoping Sayaka will let her in.
“I know we are all concern over Yui-han, but it is not my story to tell. We can only hope that she feels better later.” Sayaka said. They all nod in agreement.
Fuu-chan suddenly suggests, “We should have a sleepover! Maybe then, we can comfort her if it is a nightmare. We can try to help her fall asleep if it is insomnia.”
Milky agrees, “That sounds like a good idea! We can do it at my house! I have a big living room that can fit all of us. I will ask Yui-han and let you all know.”
Fuu-chan added, “Someone can sing her to sleep too!” Fuu-chan is totally excited for this upcoming sleepover.
“Calm down, Fuu-chan. We have to wait to see what Yui-han says first. ” Milky said. “Does someone sing you to sleep, Fuu-chan? That is so cute!”
Fuu-chan embarrassingly nods and gives a quick glance to Kei-chan, “Whenever I cannot sleep, I call Kei-chan and she sings me sleep!”
Sayaka bursts into laughter and teases Kei-chan, “Oh my god, Kei-chan, I never thought you were romantic!”
Kei-chan could not hide the blush on her face.
“Sayanee, do not laugh, you do the same for me, remember!” Milky announced.
Now, the tables has turned. It is Sayaka turn to blush as Kei-chan starts to laugh at her. “Looks who’s talking, Sayaka,” Kei-chan sarcastically said.
The rest of the conversation is filled with teasing between Kei and Sayaka while their respective girlfriends can only shake their head at their playful moments.

Thanks everyone for the support! Also, Yui cannot remember the name or the face of the girl in her dreams because her childhood memories became vague as she grew up and moved away from Kyoto. Here is another update! Happy reading, everyone! Please excuse all my mistakes and typos!
Chapter 9
Bold = Adult Yui

“So what do you think, Yui-han? Sleepover?” Miyuki asked. The four of them are currently walking home together. Miyuki just explained to Yui a moment ago about Fuu-chan’s idea.
“I am sorry I made all of you worried over me, but I am really fine. It is just one of those sleepless nights. I will be okay once I take a nap when I get home.” Yui does not know who is she trying to convince more, her friends or herself that she will be fine. The dreams are getting more frequent than usual. She does not know how much longer her body can last without proper sleep.
The other three companions share a glance with each other. Concern and worry are being convey within each of their eyes.
Sayaka walks in front of Yui and halts her. She places her hands firmly on Yui’s shoulders and said with a serious face, “If this isn’t one of those sleepless nights, if this get any worse, you must promise to let us in and help you! Do you hear me?”
Yui lifelessly looks at Sayaka with weary eyes and simply say, “I promise.” She knows better than to argue with Sayaka. When Sayaka is serious about something, she always gets what she wants.
After that confrontation, the four of them resume their walk home in silence.

“Tadaima! (I’m back) Yui said to the thin air. Yui is usually a neat person, but for today, she just carelessly takes off her shoes. Her main priority is to head to bed and caught up on some sleeps. When she enters her room, she did not bother changing out of her uniform. She dives right into her bed and let sleep overtakes her body.
She is standing on top of a grassy hill overlooking the starry night. “Where am I?” Suddenly, she hears voices to the right of her. She walks towards the voices and discovers two little girl sitting on top of the grass field. There is also a man nearby watching over them. Yui remembers him as he is the father of the girl that saved her in the park. “Well, saved my younger self.”
Yui doubt that they can see her, so she just stands nearby and observe just like last time.
“Thanks for agreeing to come out with me, even though it is already pretty late at night. I am surprised your parents let you.” The girl said.
When the word “parents” was mentioned, Yui, once again, is silent. Yui is a tough girl, but sometimes she wishes that her parents would care about her more or play with her. All they mostly do is argue with each other or just work on their individual things.
Yui has her knees against her chest with arms securely wrapped around her legs and her chin resting softly on her knees. She just looks down on the ground and didn’t answer the girl back.
The girl notices Yui’s behavior and apologized. “Sorry, I said something wrong, didn’t I?” The girl is scratching her head awkwardly as if trying to figure out how to fix this weird atmosphere she caused.
Yui turns toward the girl and just shakes her head. “My parents are barely here for me. They don’t seem to care where I go or what I am doing. They didn’t even ask about my injured elbow. To be honest, no one cares about me. I am nobody without any friends.” Yui smiles sadly at the girl.
The girl takes both of Yui’s hands and look directly into her eyes. Yui feels overwhelm with the intense eye contact again, she feels as though the girl can read through her soul.
The girl softly said, “Coincidentally, we only live a few houses away from each other, so you can come over my house to play whenever you want. When you feel lonely, talk to me because I am here for you. On top of that, I am sure my family would love to have you. They always say the more the merrier. Daddy already likes you, he secretly told me in the car. He told me you are a very humble child. Don’t ever feel like you’re nobody because you’re somebody to me.” The girl’s eyes held sincerity and love.
A shed of tear escapes from Yui’s eyes. “Are you sure you’re only five years old? You speak like an adult. But, thank you, your words were beautiful.” Yui has a hint of blush on her cheeks.
The girl gently wipes her tears away. “I have been told by my parents that I am too mature for my age. I can’t help it. Words just come out naturally for me.”
“Words just come out naturally for me… why does this sound so familiar? Where did I hear this before?” Yui is lightly hitting on her forehead with her right palm to hopefully jog some memories.
The girl notices the blush on Yui’s cheeks and comments, “Ne, anata wa houtoni kawaii desu.”
Yui froze when she heard what the girl said to her younger self. Her eyes widen and her face got a little pale. She immediately looks up and tries her best to put a face on the girl. “No… it can’t be.”
Yui shyly looks away and mumbles so gently that the girl has to lean in closer to hear, “Do you always smooth talk to every girl?”
The girl giggles at Yui’s comment and replies, “No, not every girl, just this one cute girl that I know.”
“No… No… this is just all a coincidence! It can’t be… her. There is no way.” Yui tries hard to be in denial.
The two little girls just didn't talk anymore, but simply admire the beautiful stars above them. When a cold breeze gently hits against their skin, Yui shivers under the cold. The girl takes off her jacket and places it around Yui.
Yui can recognize the familiarity of the scene in front of her.
“I don’t want you to get sick.” The girl simply said. Yui smiles and leans her head on the girl’s shoulder. Yui is so focus on the bright stars that she didn't notice the blush on the girl's cheeks when she laid her head on the girl’s shoulder. The girl gathers up some courage and wraps her arms securely around Yui.
“Glad tomorrow is a weekend or else, we will be so tired for school.” The girl said. Yui just nods her head in agreement.
“Ne, do you believe that I can grab a star from the sky and give it to you?” The girl suddenly asked.
Yui lifts up her head and stares at the girl in disbelief.
The girl confidently smiles and points towards the stars, “Go ahead, pick one and I will grab it.” Yui is still skeptical but nonetheless complies with the request. She randomly points at one.
The girl places her hand in front of Yui’s eyesight and closes her palm. “There is a star inside my palm.”
“Liar… there is no way. It is impossible.” So, Yui opens the girl’s palm and she was right, there is no star.
The girl patiently explains, “There is no star because you don’t believe me. You have to trust me. I will count to three.”
One
The girl slowly opens her palm.
Two
Yui looks intensively at the girl’s palm.
Three
A star charm magically appears in front of Yui’s eyes after the girl shakes her hands in an up and down motion.
“But, that isn’t the kind of star up above the sky.” Yui said, but is still very amazed with the magic trick.
“It is still a star. Here, for you, I saw this star charm when my daddy and I went shopping and I thought about you.” The girl hands the charm to Yui.
“Thank you.” Yui held tightly onto it, scared that it might magically disappear on her. “This is my first present ever. But, I didn't get anything for you.”
The girl quickly replies, “You don’t have to get me anything. I just want to do this. I hope you like it.”
Before Yui can answer, the girl’s dad calls out to them that it is time to head home. The girls stand up and walk over to the car.
Yui slowly follows them to where they are heading.
The girl is about to open the door, but Yui grabs her hand, hoping to get her attention. The girl looks at Yui and Yui said, “Arigato…”
Yui has her hand covering her mouth as she cannot believe what her younger self just said. Suddenly, a bright light covers Yui vision and she feels like she is falling straight down once again.
Yui jolts up from her sleep with sweats dropping down from her forehead. She takes several deep breaths and slides her small drawer open by her bedside. She takes out a wooden box from inside of the drawer and slowly opens it up. She lifts up the cold metal object. She examines it multiple times and it is indeed the same star charm as the one in her dream.
She takes out her locket necklace and held onto it along with the star charm. When she heard what the girl said to her younger self, the familiarity of the conversation, she already has her guesses on one person. The last thing her younger self said before she woke up still vibrates throughout her mind as it just confirms everything…well almost everything.
“Arigato…Paru.”
Could it be that the Paru in Yui's dream is the same Paruru that she is thinking about? More will be revealed in the later chapters!

Chapter 10

Yui places the star charm inside the wooden box and back into its respectful place in the drawer. She glances at the clock and realizes she has slept for about an hour or so. She gets up to go take a nice, warm bath.
Once Yui steps into the warm water, her body slowly releases the tension on her shoulders and eventually she feels relaxed throughout her whole body.
She closes her eyes and her mind starts to wander off about the dream she just had.
“Could it be…the Paru in my dreams is the same person as Miyuki’s cousin, Haruka aka Paruru? Perhaps, this is why I have been getting more and more of these dreams. Maybe, it is because of her. Ever since, Haruka-san entered my life, my dreams have become more frequent than usual. I have so many unanswered questions. I need to get to know more about Haruka-san background.”
Yui can feel a headache coming with all these constant thoughts floating through her head. She stays inside the warm bath for a little longer before getting out and wrapping a towel around her body. She wipes the fog up mirror in her bathroom and can see the tiredness in her eyes despite having a nap for an hour or so.
Yui dries her body and dresses into her comfortable clothes. She walks out of her bathroom while drying her hair with a towel. When she steps outside, two pair of eyes stare right back at her. The intruder is now sitting quietly on her bed.
Yui smiles brightly and slowly walks toward the intruder who has entered her room without any permission.
She lifts up the intruder and nuzzles her nose against his. “Bisu! I haven’t seen you in a while! Where have you been hiding? You always greet me when I come home! Wait, did you sneak over to Sayaka’s house again?” The cat just simply rubs his cheeks against Yui’s as if to distract her from the fact that he might have sneak over without her knowing.
Bisu and Sayaka actually get along with each other. Sayaka finds the cat so cute that she once told Yui, she might just steal him away from her one day. Whenever Yui is running errands, Bisu will sneak over to Sayaka’s house to seek for companion. Yui lost count as to how many times she has to go next door to Sayaka’s house and retrieve Bisu back.
“I must have been so occupied with the dreams that I have neglect Bisu. Gomen, Bisu!”
Yui is glad that the next two following days are weekends. She can stay home and rest more rather than worry her friends at school. She decides to kill time by getting a head start on her homework. Bisu is lying comfortable on Yui’s lap. Here and now, Yui finds herself lightly scratching Bisu on the head. Yui likes having Bisu around her, she feels calm when he is by her side.
After halfway through her homework, her fingers start to hurt from all the writing she has been doing. Stretching her muscles, she looks down at Bisu. A smile plastered on her face as she sees how peacefully Bisu is sleeping on her lap.
Figure that she needs to clear her mind; she gently carries Bisu to her bed and kisses the cat on his forehead. She quietly whispers to the cat before leaving the house for a stroll. “Bisu, I am going to go take a stroll. Do not sneak over to Sayaka’s house, okay?” Knowing that the cat cannot verbally respond, she trusts him to have heard her and understand. She pats him on the head once more and left the house.

“Onee-chan! Paruru and I are home!” Miyuki announced.
Paruru and Miyuki take off their shoes and neatly place them into the shoe storage. They both walk towards the living room and see two people sitting on the couch watching television.
“Ohayou, onee-chan, Yuki-san!” Paruru and Miyuki greeted.
Yukirin awkwardly greets back as she stills feel uncomfortable around them ever since the kitchen incident. Mayu has her head resting on Yukirin’s lap while Yukirin is gently stroking Mayu’s hair.
“Welcome home! Have you two eaten anything yet? Yukirin made some extra curry rice in the kitchen. You both can go help yourself.” Mayu said without taking her eyes off of the television.
“Arigato, Yuki-san” they silently walk to the kitchen and enjoy their meal.
Mayu got bored after the show she was watching is over, so she turns her head towards Yukirin’s waist and nuzzles her head into Yukirin’s stomach. She wraps her arms around the waist and closes her eyes. She comfortably enjoys cuddling into Yukirin. Yukirin awed over the sight that is display in front of her. She keeps stroking Mayu’s hair, admiring the peaceful angelic beauty silently sleeping.
Yukirin makes sure that Mayu has fallen into deep sleep before gently carrying her in a bridal style. She does not want Mayu to catch a cold in the living room so she escorts her to her bedroom.
Yukirin softly places Mayu on her bed and gets under the cover herself. Mayu automatically wraps her arms securely around Yukirin’s waist. Yukirin cuddles into the embrace and kisses Mayu on the forehead and joins her into dreamland.

Miyuki happily proclaims, “Hmm…this curry rice is so delicious! Onee-chan is so lucky to have a girlfriend that cooks delicious food for her!”
Paruru chuckles, “Sayaka-san doesn’t cook for you?”
The thought of Sayanee cooking for her makes her heart skip a beat. “Sayanee secretly cooks for me. She doesn’t want anyone to know especially Jonishi Kei because Kei-chan will tease her about it.”
“But, it is just cooking. There is nothing embarrassed about that. In fact, it is quite romantic.” Paruru said before she puts a spoonful of rice into her mouth.
“Exactly, it is romantic! But, Kei-chan and Sayanee both want to keep their so-called “cool” and “dominant” image. If one of them finds out that the other has done something romantic for their girlfriend, then non-stop teasing will happen.” Miyuki explained.
“It is okay to get tease. They both should just let it go. Being romantic once in a while doesn’t hurt.” Paruru said.
Miyuki replies, “I know! I wish they thought the same as you. They just won’t admit to each other that they are actually the romantic type of person.”
Paruru nods her head. “When I have the opportunity, I will let them know.”
Miyuki notices that Paruru has not been eating much of her food and just aimlessly stirring around with her spoon. “Ne, Paruru, are you worried about Yui-han?”
“Am I that obvious? She seems very tired today. I can tell it has happened to her before, since Sayaka-san reacted a bit severely. Do you know what is going on with Yui-san?”
Miyuki shakes her head. “Only Sayanee knows more than I do. They are very close friends. When I first met them, they were already inseparable.”
Paruru caught a hint of any emotion when Miyuki said that. She wasn’t sure if it was jealousy or something else.
“Are you jealous of their close bond?” Paruru curiously asked. “I can sense an emotion coming out of your tone just now.”
Miyuki giggles, “I was once jealous with the two of them, but not anymore. When I first met Sayanee, I immediately fell in love. When she introduced me to Yui-han, I saw how well they complement with each other and thought they were dating. I will admit I envy their closeness, but Sayanee assures me that they are just close friends and that nothing more can ever happen.”
“Oh souka, it is understandable, you tend to form a close and unbreakable bond with your childhood buddy.” Paruru smiles sadly as she reminisces about her childhood memories. “But, why was Sayaka-san so certain that nothing could have happen?”
Miyuki replies, “I also ponder the same as you, so I asked her one day.”
Miyuki and Sayanee have started dating not long ago and they are casually taking a stroll around the park. When they spotted a nearby bench, they decide to rest there for a while.
Miyuki had her arms cling onto Sayaka’s left arm and laid her head on Sayaka’s shoulder. Sayaka nervously sat there as she has never felt her heart beating so rapidly.
“Ne, Sayanee, can I ask you a personal question?” Miyuki asked.
Sayaka tries to calm her heart down and stutters out, “Hai…what…what do you want to know?”
Sensing Sayanee nervousness, Miyuki comments, “Relax, Sayanee, I do not bite. You don’t have to answer it after hearing it.”
“Don’t worry, I have nothing to hide, go ahead.” Sayaka confidently said.
Miyuki starts to ask, “When you told me that nothing more can happen between you and Yui-han, why were you so sure?”
Sayaka instantly turns her body to face Miyuki. “Before I answer that question, did I do something wrong to make you doubt my love for you? Milky, I only have feelings for you!” Sayaka looks into Miyuki’s eyes full of sincerity and seriousness.
Miyuki immediately blushes and said, “No, you didn’t do anything. I know you love me. I was just curious. You seem very positive about it too.”
“Oh, sorry…I didn’t mean to overreact like that.” Sayaka lowers her head, but it was swiftly lifted by Miyuki. Miyuki pecks Sayaka on the cheeks to tell her that she has nothing to apologize for. A hint of pink is visible on Sayaka’s cheek.
Sayaka looks shyly at Miyuki, “Ahem…to answer your question, it is simple. Nothing can ever happen is because someone from Yui’s past has already stolen her heart. No one can ever replace it. I don’t know if Yui-han can see it or not, but I can tell that Yui-han already likes that someone, long before she even met me.”
“Paruru, are you okay?” Miyuki waves her head in front of Paruru’s face, hoping to get her attention. Paruru has spaced out a little after hearing what Miyuki told her.
Paruru finally snaps out of it and apologize to Miyuki. Miyuki has a concern look, but decides to let it slide. They both clean up their mess and went to their respective room.
Paruru lay comfortably on her bed. She takes out the key locket from under her school uniform and stares deeply at it. “Please remember…”

Coincidentally, Yui finds herself back to the place when she first met Haruka, the front of the café. She smiles as the scenes from that day play out into her mind like a silent movie.
She enters the café to enjoy a cup of tea and Fuu-chan is the one that greets her.
“Just you today, Yui-han?” Fuu-chan kindly asked.
Yui-han answers, “Hai, I was just taking a stroll and I somehow ended up here, so I thought I would enjoy a cup of tea while I am here.”
“One cup of tea, coming right up!” Fuu-chan excuses herself.
When Yui came inside the café, Churi happen to observe her. She saw the troublesome expression hiding behind the smile Yui gave to Fuu-chan.
Churi walks over to a certain customer who was sitting on the counter drawing something. “Ne, Airin, stop for a second and look at Yui-san.”
Airin did as she is told and turns back to Churi for an explanation. “What is it that you want me to see?”
“Well…what did you see?” Churi asked.
Airin responds, “She does have a nice body if that is what you are implying.” Airin instantly gets smack in the head by Churi.
“Churi, what was that for?”
“For being a hentai! Who told you to check out another girl when your girlfriend is standing right here!?!”
“Mou, Churi, you were the one who told me to look at her! Besides, you know I will never cheat on you. Aishiteru, Churi!”
Churi blushes upon the confession, but quickly compose herself. “I am asking you to look at her as in what you see from her expression, not her body. Draw her, and then get back to me.” Churi asks Airin to draw because Airin is able to read people better in her drawings rather than in person.
Airin complies with the request. Within a matter of minutes, she fully drew Yui. She waves at Churi to come over, signifying that she is done with the drawing. “I can see that she is lost, trouble, and tired. Someone or something is clouding her mind and she is looking for answers, but doesn’t know where to start. Am I right?”
Churi rewards Airin with a kiss on the cheeks. “Good job, here eat this lovely cake I baked for you.”
Churi then calls Fuu-chan over, “Fuu-chan, I want you to take a break and talk to Yui-san. Something seems to be bothering her. She looks like she needs someone to talk to.”
Fuu-chan glances over at Yui and nods her head to Churi.

“Is this seat taken?” Fuu-chan politely asked.
Yui looks up and smiles, “No, please sit. Are you on your break?”
Fuu-chan nods her head, “I am order by someone to take a break and talk to you.”
Yui smiles and glances over at Churi, mouthing “arigato”. Churi cares for her customers and friends a lot. She wants to make sure that everyone is enjoying their time in the café.
“Yui-han, is something bothering you? Is it because of your lack of sleep?”
Yui didn’t bother hiding anymore, so she nods her head. “I have been having these dreams lately. They are coming more frequently than ever. I cannot stop them. I can’t seem to have a peaceful sleep after waking up from one of those dreams.”
Fuu-chan looks concerned. “Are they nightmares? If you don’t mind telling, what are those dreams about?”
“No, there are not nightmares, but memories…my childhood memories to be exact. It is about a girl from my past. I kept dreaming about her lately.” Yui explained.
Fuu-chan is not sure how she should approach this situation. A chair slides out next to Fuu-chan and the person takes a seat next to Fuu-chan.
“Churi thought that Fuu-chan might need some reinenforcement, so she sent me. Don’t worry, the WMatsui can handle the customers since it is a bit slow right now.” Kei-chan said.
“So, what have we got so far?” Kei asked. Fuu-chan filled her in with what she knew so far.
“Do you know who the girl is in the dream? If you do, then find her.” Kei-chan suggested.
Yui-han sighs, “I have someone in mind, but I am not sure if it is her. What if I am wrong, then I will be back to square one.”
Fuu-chan comments, “Well, you won’t know if you don’t try! Maybe, this someone is the person you are looking for! Have faith!”
Kei-chan agrees, “Fuu-chan is right. If you are just going to sit here and ponder about it, then you are not going to get your answer. You have to go search for it. Also, I am not the type that likes sleepover with lots of people, but if these dreams keep getting in the way with your sleep, we are helping you!”
“Okay, I understand. Arigato.” Yui-han said to both of them.
Before she left, she did not forget to thank Churi.
She walks out into the warm, fresh air and heads back home, knowing Bisu is probably waiting for her.

Sayaka, Miyuki and Haruka are keeping their eyes on Yui because Yui looks a lot worse than the last time they saw her. Yui has never been so fatigue in her entire life. She thought that the weekends will be relaxing but how wrong. Those dreams kept coming one after another. She keeps waking up several times in the middle of the night, tossing and turning.
Yui currently has her head down on the table, not paying any attention to Mariko-sensei’s lecture. After Mariko-sensei wrote some math problems on the board, she scans around the classroom, planning to call on some students to solve the problems. Her eyes laid on Yui, seeing her head down; Mariko-sensei immediately picks on her.
“Yokoyama-san, since you have time to sleep in my class, then you will have time to solve one of my math problems on the board!” Mariko-sensei loudly said.
Yui is not completely sleeping, but resting her eyes. Reluctantly getting up from her seat, she tiredly walks over to the board.
Haruka, Miyuki and Sayaka watch every single movement Yui made. They felt bad that Mariko-sensei picked on her.
Yui picks up the chalk and starts to solve the problem. But all of a sudden, her vision is getting blurry. Her head starts to hurt a lot and the world seems to be spinning rapidly.
The sound of the chalk squeaks against the chalkboard and a thud echoes throughout the room. Yui has fainted in front of the class.

Hi everyone, I am sorry for not updating for these past few days! I will make it up to you all soon! I just had a lot of ideas flowing through my head and it took me a while to write this chapter. At some point, I did have a writer's block. I am not very confident about this chapter, but I hope all of you will still enjoy reading it! Please excuse all mistakes and typos! Feel free to comment and ask questions if you need clarification! Happy reading, everyone! I will update soon!
Chapter 11
“From what you both told me, I can say that she has sleep deprivation. Her body is exhausted due to lack of sleep. During class, she must have experienced dizziness and headaches which resulted in her fainting. These dreams are causing her stress which makes it much more difficult for her to fall back asleep. If she can somehow reduce the stress and clear her mind, she can slowly go back to her regular sleeping habits. When she feels better, suggest to her to share about the dreams. It can help reduce stress and worries by talking about it to others. ” Koyanagi-sensei explained to Sayaka and Miyuki.” You both can go back to class. I am sure one person is enough to look after her, Shimazaki-san can stay. Also, she can go home when she wakes up. If any changes let me know, I will be in the teacher’s lounge to print out some reports.”
Sayaka and Miyuki both thanked and bowed to Koyanagi-sensei as she exits the health office. Sayaka and Miyuki glance over at Yui who is resting on the bed with Paruru by her side. They can see Paruru holding Yui’s hand tightly, hoping to be able to take her burdens away. Yui is still unconscious with her eyes moving rapidly, displaying a very distressed expression. They can tell that she is yet having another dream.
Sayaka and Miyuki quietly left the room. Sayaka immediately leans against the wall with her head down. Miyuki already knows what is going to happen next, so she tightly hugs Sayaka and rubs Sayaka’s back in a circular motion to comfort her as Sayaka silently shed tears.
After several minutes, Sayaka stops crying, but Miyuki still continues to comfort her. Moments of silence passed, Sayaka opens her mouth to speak.
“Milky, I fail…” Sayaka is quickly shot down by Miyuki before she even gets to complete her sentence.
“Do NOT dare say you have failed Yui-han,” Miyuki firmly exclaimed. “Sayanee, please stop blaming yourself. It is not your fault that she fainted. These dreams are causing her to abruptly wake up at random times. It made her sleep pattern become inconsistent. It is not you.”
“But, I couldn’t help her! I am her close friend who she always rely on since she moved here. Yet, I did not try hard enough to help her and look what happened! She fainted!” Sayaka franticly declared. Sayaka is extremely frustrated with herself. When she was about to say more, she was caught off guard by a kiss on the lips.
Similar to all the other kisses they have shared, Miyuki’s kisses never fails to calm Sayaka down. “I hate when you do that.” Sayaka shyly admitted. A triumph smile is plastered on Miyuki face. Miyuki places her hands on Sayaka’s cheeks and align their eyes to look directly at each other.
“WE couldn’t help her. WE, Sayanee, not I. You are not alone. Stop putting all the weight on yourself. Besides, Yui-han has more than just you as a friend, Sayanee. If you keep Yui-han to yourself, then I will get jealous.” Sayaka was about to interrupt, but Miyuki places her index finger on top of Sayaka’s lips to keep her silent. “Don’t worry, I know. I know she is only an important friend and family to you.”
Miyuki continued, “She has Fuu-chan, Kei-chan, Jurina-chan, Rena-chan, Churi, Paruru and I as her friends too. We all failed her, not just you. You need to understand that there is only so much we can do. If I can magically dig into her brain and pull out those dreams, I would do in a heartbeat, but I can’t. We can only support her on the side and figure out ways to help her sleep.”
Sayaka opens and closes her mouth several times. At a loss of words, Sayaka just initiates a very passionate kiss with Miyuki. Once Sayaka pulls away from Miyuki’s lips, she lay her forehead on Miyuki’s and looks into her eyes. She can see Miyuki’s face is all red from the kiss.
Sayaka sincerely confessed, “I love you. I am so lucky to have you.” Sayaka hugs Miyuki tightly in her arms.
Their sweet moment is interrupted by Koyanagi-sensei who returns from the teacher lounge.
“Yamamoto-san, Watanabe-san, I told you both to go back to class. What are you two still doing here?” Koyanagi-sensei asked.
Miyuki replies, “Gommenasai, Koyanagi-sensei. We are just worried about Yui-han. We just want to calm ourselves down before heading back to class.”
“Sigh…Watanabe-san, Yamamoto-san; you are both excused for the day. I will notify Mariko-sensei personally. Seeing how concern you both are, I doubt you guys will be able to focus in class. I will ask Shimazaki-san to inform you when Yokoyama-san wakes up. Please safely head home now.” Koyanagi-sensei said.
Miyuki and Sayaka bowed to Koyanagi-sensei and left to head home.
-Inside Health Office-
Haruka gets up from her chair and went to obtain a towel on the counter. She wet the towel with water and dries out the excess water. She went back to Yui and lightly wipes the droplets of sweat off her forehead. The gesture seems to have helped as Yui’s expression starts to relax a little. Haruka places the towel on the bedside table. Both of her hands grasp onto Yui’s and laid her forehead against the top of the intertwined hands. Haruka closes her eyes and hopes that she can magically take all the stress and worries away from Yui.
After a few minutes, Haruka starts to hear mumbling sounds from Yui. She instantly lifts up her head and lean in closer to Yui in order to hear clearly.
“Don’t go…please don’t go…” Yui mumbled tremblingly. “Please don’t leave me…Paru”
Haruka looks at Yui with teary eyes. She whispers toward her ears, “Yui…I am here…your Paru is here.”
When Haruka turns to look at Yui, she sees tears falling down Yui’s eyes. Haruka puts her hands on both of Yui’s cheeks and softly wipes the tears away. Haruka slowly brushes Yui’s hair away from her forehead. She closes her eyes and very delicately places a kiss on Yui’s forehead. Then, Haruka puts her forehead on Yui’s. When she opens her eyes, two beautiful brown eyes stare right back at her.
If anyone of them slightly moves forward, then their lips will surely touch. Their faces are so close to each other that they can feel each other breath.
“Paru…are you my Paru?” Yui asked.
Before Haruka can respond back, Koyanagi-sensei enters the room.
“Oh…I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to disturb.” Koyanagi-sensei is about to briskly walk back outside, but immediately turns around. “Wait… What are you two doing?! Public display of affection is not allowed in school!”
Haruka finally realizes their compromise position and quickly remove her body away from Yui. “Koyanagi-sensei, this isn’t what it looks like. Yui-san was sweating earlier, so I wanted to confirm whether or not she has a fever by checking the temperature on her forehead. We were not doing anything intimate.” Thanks to Haruka quick thinking, Koyanagi-sensei relaxes her posture.
“Oh is that so? I am sorry for accusing the both of you.” Koyanagi-sensei walks over to Yui. “Yokoyama-san, how are you feeling?”
“I…am… okay.” Yui dryly said. Hearing the dryness in Yui’s voice, Haruka went to pour a glass of water for Yui. Koyanagi-sensei steps back to give room for Haruka to attend to Yui. Haruka lifts Yui upper body a little and tilt the glass of water for Yui to drink.
“Arigato, Pa…Haruka-san” Yui said.
Haruka notices the slip of the tongue from Yui. She knows that right now is not the proper time to discuss about it since Koyanagi-sensei is here and Yui is exhausted.
Koyanagi-sensei speaks up, “Shimazaki-san, if you can please take her home. She might be okay, but physically she is still fatigue. She is not in the state of walking home alone.”
“Hai, I will safely escort Yui-san home.” Haruka said.
Koyanagi-sensei added, “By the way, Yamamoto-san and Watanabe-san was standing outside earlier even though they were suppose to go back to class, but seeing how worry they are, I told them to just go home. I also told them that when Yokoyama-san wakes up, I will ask you, Shimazaki-san, to inform them, so if you would please deliver the message that Yokoyama-san is fine now, that will put them at ease.”
“Hai, Arigato, Koyanagi-sensei. I will let them know immediately.” Haruka assured. “If there is nothing else, then I will now take Yui-san home.”
“No, that will be all. Please take care, Yokoyama-san! Thank you, Shimazaki-san for looking after her.” Koyanagi-san answered.
Haruka takes out her phone and calls Miyuki. It took a while before Miyuki finally answered. After she is done, Haruka supports Yui by putting her arm around Yui’s waist and they slowly walk out the health office.
-Sayaka’s House-
“Hai, onee-chan, I will stay over at Sayaka’s house tonight. Don’t worry about me, okay. Sayanee will take care of me. Bye onee-chan!” Miyuki enters Sayaka’s room after ending her call with Mayu.
Sayaka is currently lying on her bed looking at the plain ceiling. Miyuki slides into the bed and wraps her arms around the Sayaka’s waist. Miyuki rests her head on Sayaka’s chest and listen to the soft heartbeat pounding into her ear. Sayaka’s left arm wraps securely around Miyuki’s waist while her right arm just lay flatly on the bed.
The room is complete silence that you can hear a pin drop. Sayaka assumes that Miyuki has fallen asleep, so she lifts up the blanket with her right hand to cover over their body. She does not want Miyuki to get sick or else Mayu will think she is being inattentive to Miyuki.
Sayaka feels a gentle kiss on her right hand and the culprit is no other than Miyuki. Sayaka is afraid that her sudden movement has cause Miyuki to wake up. “Sorry, did I wake you up?” Miyuki shakes her head and lifts up her body with her arms supporting her from falling on top of Sayaka.
Miyuki inches closer and laid her forehead on top of Sayaka’s. Their lips tentatively touch each other. “Your heartbeat is like music to my ears, did you know that?” Miyuki whispered before diving into those soft lips that she loves the most.
Their lips are delicately overlapping against each other. It started as a slow, tender and passionate kiss. Soon, the sensual level starts to build up as Miyuki bites onto Sayaka’s lower lips eagerly, but swiftly smooth the bitten area with her tongue. Feeling the arousal increasing inside of her body, Sayaka grabs onto Miyuki’s hips and rapidly flips her over. Miyuki gasps at the sudden action. Sayaka takes this opportunity to slide her tongue into Miyuki’s mouth. Their tongue meets and fights for dominance.
When oxygen is needed, they both pull away from each other at the same time. Sayaka observes the flustered girl under her. Seeing the redness on Miyuki’s cheeks and chest rising and falling arouses Sayaka even more. A moan escapes from Miyuki, when Sayaka starts to kiss against Miyuki’s jaw down to her neck.
Before their make out session can escalate any further, Miyuki’s phone starts to ring. Sayaka reluctantly halts what she is doing. She reaches for the phone on the bedside and hands it over to Miyuki. Sayaka slowly untangled herself from Miyuki and laid her body besides Miyuki.
Miyuki sits upright and calms her breathing down before answering the phone. “That was Paruru. Yui-han is okay. Paruru is going to take her home. She told us not to worry.” Sayaka simply nods. Miyuki’s hands met Sayaka’s cheek. She kisses Sayaka on the lips and cuddles into Sayaka. Miyuki silently falls asleep listening to Sayaka’s heartbeat. Sayaka ponders for a moment before succumbing to sleep.
-Heading Home-
Once they walk outside the gate of the school, Haruka lets go of Yui and kneels down, signaling her that she will carry Yui back home. At first, Yui refuses to comply, but arguing with Haruka at this situation is futile. In the end, Haruka manage to convince Yui to let her carry her home.
Haruka’s arms are tightly tucked under Yui’s thighs, making sure she will not fall off. Yui’s arms are loosely wrapped around Haruka’s neck. Yui rests her head on Haruka’s shoulder and closes her eyes. As Haruka continues to walk home, once in a while, she will steal glances at Yui.
Haruka carefully places Yui back down and asks for her key. Haruka casually unlocks the door and pushes the door open. Haruka supports Yui as they walk inside the house. Haruka notices there is a cat waiting for them, right when they entered.
The cat went over to Yui and rubs his cheek against her legs. Bisu looks up at his owner and sense that she isn’t feeling well. “Bisu, gomennasai! I am not feeling so good. I will play with you later.” Bisu glances at the unfamiliar person next to his owner. He puffs out his fur, arch his back and shows his sharp teeth. Bisu is showing aggression towards Haruka as he thinks that Haruka is responsible for causing his owner to be in bad condition.
Yui gathers up some energy to lift Bisu up to face her. “Bisu, stop! Haruka-san is helping me. She didn’t harm me.” Bisu slightly relaxes but doesn’t completely let down his guard. He is still ready to attack Haruka-san, if she harms Yui. Yui drops Bisu back on the ground and shows Haruka where her room is. Bisu follows them, but is deny entrance to Yui’s room.
Yui is now lying on her bed, while Haruka takes a seat on the edge of the bed.
“Your cat is quite something. If you didn’t stop him, he would have eaten me alive.” Haruka chuckled.
Yui tiredly apologized, “Gomen, Bisu is not friendly towards stranger. He gets overprotective sometimes. I am sure you both will get along eventually.”
Haruka nods her head. “ I will leave you alone, so you can rest.” Haruka stands up and is about to leave the room, but Yui grabs onto her hand.
“Stay…” Yui shyly requested. “Don’t leave.”
Haruka flashes a smile and returns back to her seat. “I will be here. Go ahead and sleep. I won’t go anywhere.”
Trusting Haruka’s words, Yui slowly fall asleep. Haruka holds onto Yui’s hand lightly and places a soft kiss on the back of Yui’s hand.
Haruka waited until she is sure that Yui has fallen into deep slumber. She tucks Yui’s arm under the blanket and quietly steps outside of the room.
A pair of vicious eyes glaring right at her, Haruka did not feel threaten at all. She simply kneels down and pats Bisu on the head. “Bisu…is it? Thanks for being a protector to Yui, but don’t worry, I am not going to harm your owner. I am just like you, trying to protect her. Do you think we can be friends?” Haruka didn’t know what came over her. She reaches her hand out to Bisu for a handshake. Bisu seems to understand everything Haruka said. He tilts his head sideway and looks at the hand. A second later, Bisu places his paw on top of Haruka’s hand. A bond is formed.

Yui is tossing and turning in her sleep. She is mumbling incoherently, but it soon escalates into screaming. Haruka, who is in the kitchen cooking food for Yui, heard the scream and sprints toward Yui’s room. Bisu is following close behind.
Haruka barges into the room with Bisu beside her. Haruka runs to the bed and places her hands firmly on Yui’s shoulder. She shakes Yui’s body vigorously, hoping to wake her up. “Yui! Wake up! Open your eyes!”
Not long after, eyelids slowly opens and Yui instantly tackles Haruka into a hug. “Paru…don’t leave me! Come back to me!” Haruka can feel Yui’s body trembling.
Haruka returns the hug and rubs circular motion behind Yui’s back as comfort.
“Yui, your Paru is here. I am not going to leave you again.” Haruka declared.
I had a hard time writing the make out session between SayaMilky, but I hope it turned out fine! From here on out, YuiParu's relationship will start to progress which means going on dates together and having their first kiss etc. I will update soon. I hope you like this chapter so far!

IMPORTANT: Hi Everyone, I am deeply truly sorry for disappearing abruptly! :kneelbow: I am sorry that I did not have the time to leave an explanation! My father has suddenly collapsed and I have been in and out the hospital for weeks. I had to balance school, work, club and going to visit the hospital. If I wasn't at school, I was at work. If I wasn't at either one of them, I was at the hospital with my father. He got released a couple days ago and is in recovery, so he is doing better now. Finals is done, so school is out of the way for now. My father is home safe, so no more going to hospital. Therefore, I finally have time to give a brief update. I was planning to post more than one chapter but I was not satisfy with the other chapters yet, so I am taking a moment to re-gather my thoughts and ideas to assemble them in a much presentable way as possible. [ I don't know if that made any sense haha] Thank you to those who supports and reads this story, you have my uttermost gratitude! Enjoy reading, I will update soon! Again, I am sorry! Chapter 12
Bold = Thoughts
Quietly eating the delicious soup Haruka made for her, Yui observes the scene in front of her. She can feel her mouth slightly turned up as she watches her significant other and her favorite pet in the world getting along with each other.
Feeling unpleasant from being stared at, Haruka looks up to be greeted with a grin from the girl sitting opposite of her.
“What?” Haruka questioned.
“Slept for no longer than an hour and you two are suddenly best friends…that is quite something.” Yui stated. “I mean earlier, he tried to eat you alive. What exactly happened when I went to sleep?”
Bisu and Haruka exchange eye contacts. Facing towards Yui again, Haruka shrugs, “We just bonded.” Yui’s right eyebrow lifts up in a doubtful way, but decides not to push the matter any further.
Haruka resumes to playing with Bisu while Yui continues to enjoy her soup. After a few minutes of silence, the sound “ding dong” resonates throughout the house. Haruka and Yui looks at each other with a questionable expression.
“Expecting someone?” Haruka asked, gently placing Bisu on the floor. She saw Yui shaking her head and walks over to open the door.
As Haruka opens the door, two people came into sight. “Konbanwa, Shimazaki-san.” The two visitors greeted.
Haruka returns the greeting and steps aside for them to enter the house.
Hearing voices coming from the door, Yui emerges from the kitchen. Seeing the visitors, a smile is shown on her face. Although Yui can already guess why they came to visit her, she asked anyways. “Fuu-chan, Keicchi, to what do I owe this pleasure?”
Fuu-chan and Keicchi quickly exchange a concern look. Fuu-chan speaks up, “Here, we got you some fruits. We didn’t want to come empty-handed.”
Yui kindly accepts the gift, “You both didn’t have to, but thank you.” Haruka politely takes the basket and excuses herself to go cut up some fruits for the guests.
The three left remaining in the living room settles down onto the couch. “Fuu-chan was feeling restless when she heard that you fainted in school. So, I decided to bring her here to pay you visit. I am sorry for intruding,” Keicchi informed.
Yui deeply sighed, “I am the one who should be sorry for making the both of you worried.” Yui places her hand on top of Fuu-chan’s, “I am okay now. Pa… Haruka have been taking care of me.” Yui awkwardly smiled as she noticed her almost slip up.
Keicchi isn’t the type of person to meddle into peoples’ lives, but she is quite an observer and she is certain that she almost heard Yui say the word “Paruru”.
“Yui, where do you put your plates? Also, can you feed Bisu? I think he is getting hunger!” Haruka shouts from the kitchen. Yui kindly excuses herself from the living room to help Haruka in the kitchen.
Keicchi swiftly places her arm around Fuu-chan’s shoulder and whispers into her ear, “Ne, Fuu-chan, did you notice something different when Yui was talking?” Unknowingly to Keicchi, the proximity between the two is making Fuu-chan blush like a tomato.
“Ehh…I…I …didn’t. What was …I supposed to notice?” Fuu-chan stuttered.
“Why are you stuttering? Your face is red too…are you getting sick?” Fuu-chan does not know if her face can get any redder as Keicchi initiates the forehead to forehead touching. “Hmm…you are a little warm, but you don’t seem sick. I will make you some porridge or soup just in case when we get home.”
Fuu-chan cannot really think straight at the moment to reply back to Keicchi so she remains silent, “Mou, baka Kei-chan, how can she be so dense?” Keicchi has good observation with other people’s love life, but when it comes to her own love life, she can be quite oblivious, but luckily a little bit better than Yui.
Fuu-chan creates a small distance between them and tries to calm her heart. She shakes her head, “No, I didn’t notice anything. Yui-han seems the same to me.”
“I am not a hundred percent sure, but it seems as though she was about to call Shimazaki-san, “Paruru”.. Didn’t you notice how she dropped the honorific? Keicchi expertly deduced.
Fuu-chan ponders for a moment. She tries to replay the conversation she just had with Yu, but unconsciously pout as nothing came into her mind.
Keicchi giggles softly and pats Fuu-chan on the head, “you’re so adorable.” Fuu-chan blushes again and instantly hits Keicchi on the arm.
“Ouch, what was that for?” Keicchi asked as she is rubbing her arm. “Mou, Kei-chan, Baka!” Fuu-chan averts her eyes elsewhere.
Keicchi looks at Fuu-chan carefully and smirks when she sees the blushing cheeks. “Fuu-chan, are you embarrassed? Did you like it when I called you “adorable”?”
“Of ..course…not” Fuu-chan stuttered. “KAWAII!!!” Kei-chan tackles Fuu-chan into a hug. “Mou, Keicchi! I can’t breathe, let go!”
“I won’t let go until you give me a kiss!” Keiichi declared as she tries to aim for Fuu-chan’s lips.
“Keicchi! Stop it! Yui-han and Shimazaki-san will back in a minute!” Fuu-chan tries her best to create some distance between them, but it seems futile as Keicchi is stronger.
Keicchi replies, “Well, we can avoid from being caught if you just give in and give me a kiss.” Fuu-chan stops struggling and shyly looks at Keicchi.
Fuu-chan nods her head and Keicchi takes that as a signal to slowly initiate a kiss. Keicchi’s hands are placed gently on Fuu-chan’s cheeks. Keicchi sees that Fuu-chan has her eyes closed so she slightly tilts her head a little. As light as a feather, their lips finally touch each other. It starts out with small kisses, lightly pecking each other. Soon, Fuu-chan gathers her confidence and returns the kiss with more passionate.
The innocent kisses soon turn into a heated make out session. They both were so in depth with the kiss that they didn’t hear the footsteps of Yui and Haruka walking back into the living room.
“Ahem!” Haruka coughed.
Fuu-chan swiftly pushes Keicchi away from her. Unfortunately, she underestimates her strength. “Oof!” Keicchi groans in pain as she slowly rubs her bottom. Realizing she has accidentally pushed Keicchi to the floor, she rushes to help her up. “Gomen, Kei-chan.”
After the ordeal, the two settle back to their original seat. Fuu-chan did steal a quick glance at Haruka and Yui. She can tell that Haruka was not bother by the kiss, but Yui has a hint of pink on her cheeks as she awkwardly looks in another direction. Fuu-chan was utterly embarrassed as she completely distances herself from Keicchi. Keicchi, not being fazed at all, scoots closer to Fuu-chan to fill the gap and casually wraps her arm around Fuu-chan’s shoulder. Fuu-chan simply has her eyes averted downward.
Haruka places the plate of fruits on the table and pushes it towards the guest. After that she walks over to sit next to Yui on the couch.
An awkward silence fills up the air. “Are you feeling better?” Keicchi decides to break the silence.
“Hai, I got some sleep when I came home so I am okay now.” Yui stated.
Fuu-chan still embarrassed about being caught in action and shyly said, “That’s good to hear. I think Miyuki has already mentioned to you before about the sleepover idea. We can find ways to put you to sleep or comfort you if you abruptly wake up. What do you think?”
“I appreciate what all of you are trying to do for me, but I am fine. I just need to sleep more.” Yui-han kindly rejected.
Keicchi commented, “What you need is to get rid of your dreams! This little girl from your past is haunting you every time you close your eyes. We can help you. Even if you cannot physically take your dreams out of your mind, but we can try ways to make sure you sleep peacefully without disturbance.”
Fuu-chan looks at Yui-han with a pout on her face while adding a cute please. “Please, Yui-han!”
Haruka pats Yui on the shoulder and gives her nod, telling her to agree. Yui sighs and nods.
Fuu-chan jumps a little, feeling excited for this upcoming sleepover! “So let’s make it this weekend! I will contact Sayanee and Milky to let them know!”
“Okay, now that is clear, Fuu-chan and I should leave the both of you alone.” Keicchi and Fuu-chan gets up and take their leave.
Yui gives them a thank you and waves goodbye. She sighs once again while leaning her back against the door. Haruka has her hands on Yui’s shoulder and says, “It will be okay. They are just trying to help. You will be fine.”
Yui gives a tired smile and can only hope for the best.
I am sorry for the short update! I will go in more depth with the story soon. I am just gather up my thoughts. Thank you for reading! I am sorry if this story is lacking interest to some of you! I will try my best to make up for lost time.

Chapter 13
Bold = thoughts
The weekend couldn’t have come any sooner. Keeping to her words, Yui finds herself at the doorstep of Miyuki’s house.
She rings the doorbell and in a flash, Miyuki is in her sight. “Yui-han, glad you made it. Everyone is inside.” Miyuki steps aside to let Yui in. She guides Yui to her living room where everyone else is waiting for her.
When they are within the proximity of the living room, Yui can already hear chatters and laughter. She unconsciously smiles as she is happy to know that everyone is having fun. When they finally arrive at the living room, Yui can spot several futons being scattered across the floor. The girls are all in sleepwear and excitedly greet Yui. She calmly sat herself next to Haruka. Yui takes a moment to scan her surroundings. She has been to Miyuki’s house once or twice, but she never took notice of how big the living room truly is.
One by one, she individually looks at each couple in the room. Starting from the SayaMilky couple, Milky is showering Sayaka with her overload cuteness while Sayaka, the supposedly “tough” one is feeling defenseless and shy towards Milky. Yui silently laughs at Sayaka as she knows she is whipped when it comes to Milky.
Moving on to the right of Milky, we have the FuuKei couple. Kei-chan is sitting behind Fuu-chan with her arms wrapped securely around Fuu-chan’s waist. Fuu-chan is peacefully leaning on Kei-chan and is giggling on something that Kei-chan whispered in her ears.
Yui changes her eyesight towards the couple to the left of Sayaka who is known as the WMatsui. Yui chuckles as she sees Jurina hugging onto Rena like a clingy puppy and is desperately trying to steal a kiss on Rena’s lips while Rena is pushing Jurina’s face away and won’t give in.
Lastly, the couple next to the WMatsui is Furunayagi! They are the quiet couple among the others at the moment. Churi is simply leaning her head on Airin’s shoulder as she quietly gazing at the girl who is lost in her own world, drawing another masterpiece.
Yui stops observing the others when she felt a tap on her right shoulder. She turns to see Haruka smiling softly at her. “Are you okay?”
Yui returns the smile, “Yeah, seeing everyone having fun makes me happy. I am actually glad they are going through all this trouble to help.”
“It is no trouble; just simply a sleepover. When I was in America, sleepovers were quite common among young teenagers.”
“Haruka-san, we are not exactly young teenagers anymore. We are young adults in college.”
Haruka looks deeply into Yui’s eyes. “Paru.”
Yui’s eyebrows knitted closely in confusion.
“Paru…just call me Paru. No more Haruka-san. I will just call you, Yui, if you don’t mind.”
It took a moment for Yui to register what Haruka requested.
“YUI-HAN,” Miyuki shouted. Yui immediately turns toward Miyuki with a question look.
“Yui…we all know that Paruru is a very beautiful girl, but you don’t have to stare at her for so long. ~someone is lovestruck ~” Miyuki teased.
Yui didn’t want to lose so she decides to counter back, “I am lovestruck…says the girl who constantly comes over my house at random time of the night to…” Yui couldn’t finish the sentence as she was swiftly tackled by Miyuki. Miyuki urgently whispers into Yui’s ear, “You promise to never tell anyone this! I am sorry for teasing!” Miyuki added a pout to seal the deal. Yui helplessly sighs and nods to let it go.
Unknowingly to Miyuki and Yui, there are two people who are unpleased at what they heard. Both individuals wanted to know what exactly did Miyuki and Yui did late night together. Everyone else looks at the scene dumbfounded.
Miyuki gently release Yui and went back to sit next to Sayaka. Not noticing the change behavior Sayaka has, Miyuki went along to give out suggestions on what the group should do. Miyuki said, “So I looked up on some games we can play and I find one that is interesting. Let’s play spin the bottle!” No one object to the game so Miyuki already have a bottle prepared.
“We can play this game in different ways. The first way is when the player spins the bottle and it lands on someone then she has to kiss the person. If it lands on yourself, then you get to spin the bottle again,” Miyuki explained.
Several “No” filled the room as some of the individuals refuse to see their lover kissing someone else. The first one to voice out is no other than Jurina. “No, we should play something else!” Jurina objected. Miyuki countered, “Jurina, you’re well-known for kissing girls around campus. I was sure you would want to play this game!”
“Mou, Milky! I no longer kiss other girls now that I have Rena-chan! Besides, I don’t want Rena-chan kissing anyone of you here!” Jurina sternly glares at everyone while holding tightly onto Rena-chan. Rena displays a “sorry” look to everyone for Jurina’s possessiveness. Rena pats Jurina’s head to calm her down which earns her a kiss on the cheek.
“I agree with Jurina! I am not letting anyone of you kissing my Fuu-chan!” Kei-chan warned. Fuu-chan smiles shyly at Kei-chan.
The others who were quiet didn’t mind at all. “It is just a game. As long as you have no feeling for the other person and stay faithful to your lover, then all is well. Besides, maybe the bottle will not land on Fuu-chan or Rena-chan. We should at least try it once!” Airin said.
“But, if it does, no one kisses Rena-chan/Fuu-chan!” Jurina and Keicchi proclaimed in unison.
“Alright, I will start!” Miyuki happily spins the bottle.
All this time, Sayaka and Haruka has been silent as they both were pondering the same thing about Miyuki and Yui. They both snap out of it when they realize who the bottle landed on.
“No!” Sayaka disagreed! “You should have said something when Jurina and I were against the game. Now, it is too late! Milky has to kiss Yui!”
“Sayanee, it is just a kiss. It will mean nothing.” Milky tries to persuade her. “But…” Sayaka looks hopelessly at Milky and reluctantly gives in as she should trust Milky. “Fine, go ahead. It is just a game.”
Milky takes one last glance before crawling to the middle and gestures with her index finger for Yui to come closer. Yui, who is astound, takes a second to move her body. She hesitantly meets Miyuki in the middle. Yui doesn’t know why but she feels disappointment that Haruka didn’t stop this.
Seeing that Yui isn’t going to make the first move, Miyuki gently places her hand on the latter’s cheeks and inches closer to Yui’s lips. Yui fidgets under the touch of Miyuki as she has never had her first kiss yet and in any moment she is going to lose it to someone that she doesn’t want to. Feeling the nervousness under her fingers, Miyuki softly whispers, “Yui, calm down. It will be over before you know it.”
With that being said, Yui closes her eyes and waits for her lips to come in contact with the girl. It is as if someone has hit the slow motion button, the other girls are just anxiously watching, wondering if the kiss is ever going to happen.
After what feels like a lifetime to Yui, she felt something soft, yet strange against her lips. Opening her eyes, she was bewildered. She realized she just kiss someone’s hand. Immediately backing away, she wipes her lips. Looking closely at the situation, she kissed the palm of Haruka’s hand. She looks at Haruka for answers but her face is only filled with nonchalant. Haruka, without explaining, simply went back to her original position.
Yui’s attention is taken away as she hears a sigh. The sound was escaped from Miyuki’s mouth. “Alright, I give up! We are playing the truth or dare version! If anyone have any complaints or comments, please shout them out now or forever hold your peace!” Miyuki declared. This time, no one raises their voices, so the game proceeds once again.
Breaking the awkward atmosphere, Keicchi takes the bottle and spins it. Keicchi smirks as the bottle lands on Sayaka. “Sayaka, truth or dare,” Keicchi said in a challenging way. Of course, Sayaka cannot let her pride down and chooses dare. “I choose dare.” Sayaka confidently said. However, seeing the smirk on Keicchi’s face, she might regret her decision.
“Okay, tough girl, I dare you to ask Miyuki for a kiss in the cutest way ever.” Keicchi challenged.
The rest of the girls were amused by the dare as they all know Sayaka is not a cutesy type of girl. Plus they have never saw Sayaka initiates a kiss first. Miyuki is always the one showering her with cuteness. Miyuki tries her best to hold her excitement as she anticipates for Sayaka next move. Sayaka has been silent this whole time, pondering how she can let herself get into this situation. “If I refuse to do this dare, what is my punishment?” Sayaka cautiously asked.
Keicchi seems to have already calculated everything in her head. “I will be lenient. You get to pick which options you want. First one, you can strip naked and be naked for the whole night. Second one, you cannot be around Miyuki for three days.” Keicchi knows she is pushing it but she wants to see how far Sayaka will go.
After Keicchi said that, lots of voices arose, but what scared Keicchi the most is the dark aura that is oozing out of Miyuki. She felt shivers up her spine when she came in contact with Miyuki glaring eyes. Keicchi, feeling unexpectedly nervous for her life, stutters, “th-that is…if sh-she doesn’t take th-*ahem* the dare.” Unconsciously wiping invisible sweats, she cannot stop feeling the aura from Miyuki. She knows now that she dug her own grave.
“Mou, Kei-chan, you’re so mean! I can never be away from Rena for just a second!” Proving her point, Jurina clings onto Rena even tighter than before. Finding this moment very cute, Rena shyly smiles and strokes Jurina’s hair with her left hand while her right is loosely around Jurina’s waist.
“I don’t think Airin and I separate for more than a day before.” Churi mentioned.
“That is because you are a helplessly bird that needs me and won't stop following me around,” Airin added which earned her smack on the arm.
“I will break those hands of yours so you can never draw again if you don’t take back your words!” Churi said in a warning tone. Airin swiftly places her hand behind her back.
“Mou, Churi, can’t you take a joke? I need you more in my life than you need me.” Quickly covering her mouth, she can feel her cheeks heating up. She looks away from Churi. Several “awww” echoes around the room. Churi kisses Airin on the cheek and hugs her.
“Airin” Rena calls out to her.
“Hai?”
“You should be honest with your feelings more.” Rena advised.
Airin looks at Churi who is smiling beamingly back at her and returns the smiles. She turns back to Rena and determinedly said, “Hai!”
A small gap is placed between Haruka and Yui. They were silently enjoying everything that was happening without speaking a word to each other. They both smiled seeing the difference in each couple but all have one thing in common which is love. Without each other knowing, they both had the same thought. “I hope I can have a relationship like that with Yui/Paruru.” At the same time, they both glance at each other, holding that eye contact. However, Fuu-chan’s question caught both of their attention.
“Keicchi, are you trying to tell me you can last three days without me?” Fuu-chan eagerly asked.
“Of course not, Fuuko! You’re my…” Keicchi stops talking as she was about to showcase her cheesiness in front of everyone.
Seeing this as an opportunity, Sayaka urges her to continue her sentence. “You’re my what, Kei-chan. Finish your sentence.” Sayaka said in an arrogant way. Keicchi shoots her a quick glare before moving back her attention on Fuuko. “Ah! Mou, screw this! You’re my life! Without you, I don’t feel like I exist anywhere in this world. Without you, I am not alive. You’re literally my everything, Fuuko.” By this time, Fuuko already has tears running down her face. Everyone else was in awed with what Keicchi just said.
“I never thought you had it in you, Kei-chan! You should also take Rena-san’s advise and be honest with your feelings too.” Sayaka said.
“Oh yeah, Looks who’s talking! I remember you still have a dare to proceed or shall we skip that and go straight to punishment.”
“Baka! Who says I won’t do it!”
“The stage is yours.”
Keicchi takes a moment to wipe the tears off of Fuuko’s face and gently laid kisses on both of her cheeks. Now that everything is settled. Everyone focuses their attention on SayaMilky couple.
Sayaka opens her mouth, “Miyuki…”

Chapter 14
Miyuki is waiting anxiously for Sayaka to showcase any form of cuteness for her. Everyone is silent, simply watching to see how this scene will unfold.
“Miyuki…I can’t do it.” Sayaka lowers her head at her failure. “looks like we are going to have to separate for three days!”
“Sighs…” can be heard around the room.
“NO!” Miyuki proclaimed. Everyone intensely looks at Miyuki, wondering what is on her mind.
“The punishment is changed. I am not going to kiss you ever until you ask me in the cutest way.” Miyuki folds her arms against her chest and puts on a determined expression.
The first person to break the silence with laughter is no other than Jonishi Kei! Everyone just shot Sayaka a sympathetic look.
“You’re kidding right… there is no way you can last without kissing me, Mirukii!” A wrong move for Sayaka to have made as Miyuki gives her an intense look while adamantly challenged, “TRY ME!”
“HMPH!” Miyuki turns her head away from Sayaka. By this moment, Keiichi has stopped laughing.
“The tough Sayaka has fallen in the hands of a dare!” Kei started laughing once again. Feeling bad for Sayaka, Fuuko steps up to stop Kei-chan.
“Kei-chan, if you do not stop laughing, then you will NOT get to kiss me ever again!” Fuuko threatened.
After hearing that, Kei immediately shuts her mouth and stay absolutely quiet.
The others try to help Sayaka out by persuading Miyuki to change her mind and mentioned that it is just a game.
“Miyuki, don’t be like that! You know how Sayaka is. Asking her to be cute out of nowhere is a bit impossible for her.” Yui tries her best to defend her good friend.
“Sigh…” Miyuki slowly let go of her childish act and turns to see Sayaka still having her head down, looking so defeated and crushed.
Miyuki was about to apologized, but something unexpected happened.
“Mirukii! Kisu Onegai ~~” Sayaka looks up at her with cute big cat eyes. Sayaka’s hands are shaped into cute little fist against her chin with her lips slightly in a pout form. Everyone was shocked and speechless except for Paruru who remained calm about the situation. Silence overcome them for a few seconds until a thud can be heard echoing around the room. Miyuki has tackled Sayaka and showering her with numerous kisses. The kisses quickly escalates into a full on make out session and hands were roaming each other’s body.
Rena and Churi quickly cover their significant other eyes. “Oi! Rena-chan! I can’t see anything!”
“That’s the point,” said Rena. Jurina eagerly proclaimed, “But, I want to see! I am old enough!”
“No, you’re still young in my eyes,” Rena explained. Jurina always act very childish and cutesy around her, not to mention, she is always the youngest in the group, so it is very difficult for Rena to see her as an adult.
“Churi! If I can’t see, I can’t draw! This will go wonderfully with my collection!”
“Baka, Airin! Hentai, Airin!” Churi keeps hitting Airin for her pervertness!
“Ow..ow..Ouch! Okay I will stop! Please stop your Iron Man punches!”Churi finally stops but turns away from Airin while Airin is just busy relieving the pain from the bruises. Holy…who knew Churi was that strong…Airin shivers as she does not want to get Churi mad again…
Yui sighed and shook her head at the rated r scene in front of her while Paru still remained calm and collected.
“Hey! You two! Enough! Stop corrupting my innocent Fuu-chan!” During the whole scene, Fuu-chan buried her face into Keiichi’s neck while trying to suppress her blushes as the moaning sounds coming from Sayamilky was not helping.
Sayamilky was not paying any attention to their surroundings and kept going at it until Paru went and physically pried Miyuki away from Sayaka.
Milky felt annoyed that someone interrupted their session and harshly said “What!?” to Paru, but Paru did not feel threaten. She just raised one of her eyebrows and said, “there are still people here you know.” Then she just walked back to her seat.
Milky feeling embarrassed now, simply rubbed her neck with her hand and cutely said “Gomen!” with her tongue sticking out.
Sayaka was still on the floor catching her breath as that was one of the most intense makeout session she ever had. ”Milky was really aggressive.”

The game resumes relieving the awkward atmosphere after SayaMilky makeout session. It was Sayaka’s turn to spin the bottle and it lands on Keiichi.
This time an evil smirk can be seen on Sayaka’s face. “Payback Time!”
Keiichi tries very hard to put up a strong front but she cannot deny that she is not a little nervous of what Sayaka might have up her sleeves.
Everyone else had the same thought…”Here we go again.”
“Dare…” Keiichi hesitantly stated. “Wise choice, my friend…I dare you to give Fuu-chan a lap dance.” Sayaka demanded.
Fuu-chan instantly blushed. Before Keiichi can say anything, Miyuki is already putting on Sayaka’s ear!
“Ow…ow…Milky, my ear!” Sayaka whined. “I thought we agreed on not corrupting Fuu-chan!” Miyuki remarked.
Sayaka defeated, “Fine! Get into a push up position and hold it for three minutes – your hands should be under your shoulders…” Keiichi interrupted, “That should be easy”
“I am not finished…you have to do with Fuu-chan sitting on top of you.” Sayaka smirked.
Fuu-chan sadly said, “Sayaka, anata wa hidoi desu.” (you’re mean)
“I give up on this game.” Sayaka sighed. Keiichi reassures Fuu-chan that she can handle it.
Keiichi gets into position with Fuu-chan sitting on top of her. So far so good
Everyone looked on and praised Keiichi for her strength. However, after the two minute mark, everyone can see Keiichi’s arms shaking and sweats dripping down the forehead. Fuu-chan feels sorry for Keiichi.
Jurina announced, “Kei-chan, it’s three minute! You can stop now!” Keiichi collapsed immediately and Fuu-chan started to massage her arms while the Furunayagi and WMatsui couple was complaining how cruel Sayaka was.
Sayaka went over to Keiichi and see if she is okay. “Are you alright, buddy?” Keiichi can see the sympathy and how worry Sayaka is. “Of course! Strong like a tiger! That was nothing. Besides…I will take my revenge back.” Sayaka smiled, “Bring it on!” Everyone just sighed as the battle between them will never end.
“Alright let’s continue!” Jurina proclaimed. Fuu-chan decides to help Keiichi spin the bottle and it lands on Jurina.
“Woohoo~~~ Finally! I pick truth!” Jurina excitedly said. “Have you and Rena-chan already hit homerun already?” asked Keiichi.
Rena blushed,”Kei-chan! How can you ask Jurina that!?” Everyone chuckled, but unfortunately Jurina did not understand the question so she said, “No, because we never played baseball before?”
Everyone burst out of laughter even Paru who is usually calm, also joined everyone into laughter. Jurina still holds a puzzled expression. “Eh…I don’t understand why everyone is laughing…Rena-chan did I say something funny?” Jurina turns and see Rena’s face red as a tomato which provokes Jurina’s curiosity even more.
“OMG…somebody help me…I can’t…stop…laughing” Sayaka said.
“She is too innocent…omg we just corrupted her” Airin added.
Keiichi laughed, “this is hilarious…not even…Fuu-chan is that innocent to not know what it means…hahaha..I can’t breathe.”
“Well someone tell me what is going on here!?!” Jurina impatiently said.
Churi still taking to catch her breath, “Rena…I think…you should…let..her know..hahaha”
Rena decided to spare her lover from the confusion and whispered to Jurina, “homerun have nothing to do with the actual baseball here. It means something else.”
Jurina asked, “then what does it mean!?!” Rena said, “I can’t do it! It is too embarrassing!”
Paru finally calmed down while the others are still trying to recover from laughing even Yui is having the time of her life laughing. Paru bluntly explained, “It is a baseball metaphors indicating sex. First base is French kissing (mouth to mouth), second base is touching the upper body especially the breasts, and third base is the lower body, below the waist. Lastly...homerun…I am sure you can take it from here.”
Jurina dumbfounded, “Oh…” Everyone started to be able to catch their breath again and resume back to their normal state. Jurina did not say anything else for a few minutes.
“Hey kid, you alright?” Airin asked. Jurina looked at everyone and vice versa. Rena looks at Jurina with a concerned look and said, “Of course, Rena and I hit homerun! I lost count how many times we hit homerun.”
Once again, everyone burst out laughter except Yuiparu who chuckled and Rena covering her face out of embarrassment.
Jurina just looked at Yuiparu for answers, “What did I say this time?” Yui chuckled, “It was very blunt…you could have saved Rena-chan from the embarrassment.”
Jurina looked at Rena and hugged her. “Sorry, Rena-chan.” Rena shook her head, “Baka, just next time don’t be so blunt!” Jurina gave her a cat smile and said, “Hai!”

There was a moment of silence as everyone enjoyed what happened earlier in the night. They were happy to be with one another and share the joy and laughter.
“Okay! Let’s play a few more before we all go to bed!” Everyone agreed and then Jurina spin the bottle and it lands on Airin.
“Truth” Airin simply said.
“Aww…I was hoping you said dare.” Jurina pouted.
“Ha! Knowing you, I don’t want to end up like Keiichi or Sayaka. This kid has lots of pranks and ideas up her sleeves. Be careful everyone!” Airin suggested.
“I still remembered how Mayu and Jurina were always up to no good and pulling pranks on everyone! Luckily, Mayu now have Yukirin to preoccupy her time and Jurina also have Rena, so the teachers were finally spare from their misery.” Miyuki happily reminisced.
Jurina tries to defend herself, “Hey! We weren’t that bad! Right, Rena-chan?”
Rena disagreed, “Jurina…you both switched out the cream inside the oreo cookies with colgate toothpaste, stapled a teacher’s tie to the desk while he is sleeping then waking him up to see him fall, AND not to mention, you both pretended to give chocolates to the teachers, but when they opened the gift box, it was cockroaches inside…if you tell me, you both were pretty bad.”
Jurina sulks and pouts while Rena rubs her hand against her back to make her feel better.
Paru chuckled, “wow, I wished I came sooner. I would love to see those pranks.”
“You love to see them, but you will hate what the teachers do to make us suffer…essays and projects on top of one another. It was a nightmare everytime
the two pranksters stir up troubles.” Yui added.
Out of curiosity, Churi asked, “Why did you move here, Haruka-san?” Everyone was curious as well especially Yui, but only Miyuki was the only one shooting anxious and concern looks to Paru.
Paru noticed Miyuki’s expression and gave her a small smile. “That is a story that I will tell if you are lucky enough to land the bottle on me.”
“You are on!” Churi had determination on her eyes. “Alright, someone land the bottle on me!”
“Oi, I haven’t even finished my turn.” Airin stated. “Well hurry up!” Churi eagerly yelled.
Airin retorted, “Why are you yelling at me!?! She is the one who didn’t ask the question yet” Airin pointed at Jurina.
“Oh right, Airin, was Churi your first love?” asked Jurina. Airin was beginning to be nervous and shooting glances at Rena and Churi.
Sayaka noticed, “What’s wrong, Airin? Shy to admit haha.” Jurina added, “Airin, just be honest haha. You already admit you cannot live without Churi!”
“No, Churi is not my first love.” Airin answered. Yuiparu, Sayamilky and FuuKei all noticed an awkward atmosphere between Rena, Churi and Airin. No one
said anything as they did not wanted to create any trouble between the couples.
Not noticing the sudden awkward tension, Jurina innocently pushed further “Eh…dewa dare ga? (then who is it?)” Airin smartly replied, “I believe you only get to ask me one question in which I answered so my turn to spin the bottle!”
“But..” before Jurina can continue, Miyuki came to the rescue, “She is right, Jurina-chan. Only one question. Go ahead Airin!” Airin smiled at Miyuki as a signal of gratitude while Miyuki reciprocated the smile.
Jurina was still dying out of curiosity as she saw the glances between Rena and Furunayagi but decided to let it go for now.
Airin spins the bottle and it lands on Churi! “Hai! Haruka-san, you just wait, victory is mine!”
Paru simply smiled and nod her head. “Now, truth!” Churi said. Airin took a breath, looked directly at Churi’s eyes and asked sincerely, “If you found out something about my past and it is one of my wrongdoings, would you forgive me?”
Jurina said, “Airin, why so serious? Of course, Churi will forgive you, she loves you.” Airin ignored everyone and was waiting patiently for the response.
Churi thought to herself: could this be about her? Then she just said, “It depends.” Airin closed her eyes and sighed as she nodded her head. Rena looked on with concerned. Airin…
Jurina noticed Rena looking at Airin with deep concerned and all of sudden, something clicked…Airin’s answers and her questions.
“It is Rena, isn’t it?” Jurina harshly proclaimed. Everyone knew what Jurina was referring to as they all caught those glances exchanged between Rena, Airin and Churi about the first love question.
In that instant, this truth or dare game became something much more serious than ever. Everyone could feel that the atmosphere have dropped significantly. Keiichi tries to break the ice, “Oi, come on guys when did this game got so serious!?”
Fuu-chan also tries to extinguish the fire, “We are all here to have a great time and a wonderful sleepover. Let’s calm down.”
Miyuki whispered to Sayaka, “Sayanee, this is bad. Someone have to step between them. You know how aggressive Jurina gets when things revolve around Rena.” Sayaka replied, “I know. If anything, I will separate Jurina from the group.” Miyuki nodded.
Jurina ignored Fuukei’s comment and stood up while she asked once again, “It is Rena, isn’t it?!”
Rena pulls on Jurina’s hand to try to get her to calm down and away from Airin. Jurina flicked her hands away. “Answer me, Airin!”
Churi stepped in, “Enough, Jurina! She has no obligation to answer you anything!” Jurina knowingly smirked, “so it seems like you know something as well and trying to protect your lover.”
“Why!?! Then you know what she did!?!” Jurina frustrated and points to Airin. Yui went to stand in front of Jurina and tries to push her back. “Calm down, Jurina!”
“Out of the way, Yui! This is none of your business!” Jurina harshly said. Paru interrupted, “Hey! You do not talk to her like that!”
Fuu-chan was looking at Keiichi as to what to do, but not even Keiichi knows where to start. Sayamilky were already standing up in case a fight breaks out.
Airin finally voiced out, “ENOUGH! Yes, Jurina! As you smartly deduced, I am Rena’s first love. I admit that I have done wrong and I only have myself to blame.”
Yui looks around and thought to herself, “sigh…what the hell is going on.” She seeks guidance from Sayaka to let her know what to do but that is futile as Sayaka also just stood there to see how this all plays out.
Rena finally takes action and pulls a very reluctant Jurina away and led her to the backyard.
After several minutes of silence, Keiichi bluntly asked, “okay, what the heck just happened?”

I'M SCREAMING. I SEARCHED THIS FIC FOR SUCH A LONG TIME AND NOW YOU UPDATED! SWEET BABY JESUS PRES YOU FOR THIS UPDATE. HUE.
I'M NOT REALLY SAD THAT THERE IS DRAMA IN THIS CHAPTER BECAUSE IT JUSTS ADDS TO THE DIMENSION OF THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS.
ALSO CAN WE PLEASE HAVE ANOTHER ROUND OF THE GAME SO PARU CAN TELL THE STORY? OR IF YOU HAVE OTHER PLANS FOR THAT I'M ALSO GOOD WITH THAT. AS LONG AS WE GET TO HAVE PARU CONFESS HER UNDYING LOVE FOR YUI.
