Post by: Sacul097 on July 12, 2014, 04:57:04 PM: I'm starting to get annoyed with Juice=Juice's line distribution. I know, I know, another person complaining about line distribution, but just hear me out on this. J=J only has 5 members, and they narrow the focus even further by just focusing on Karin, Tomoko, and Sayuki. A large part of the past three main a-sides has just been the main three trading solos, followed by a bit of Akari/Yuka, then chorus. When you insist on having every other verse be entirely (or almost entirely) solos, and have those solos always be the same three girls, it starts to get boring. Hell, except for the chorus, Hadaka no Kiss was entirely solos.

All of their 1st week single sales:

Romance no Tochuu: 37,213
Ijiwaru: 39,379
Hadaka: 38,293
Black Butterfly: 37,008

It's good that they're holding fairly steady but I wonder if switching up the releases next time might help. For example, a member solo for each edition or something to boost sales. Or at the very least, a bonus item that's more interesting than a drink coaster :P
