Ch. 01
*RIIIIIIIIIIIIING RIIIIIIIIIIIING*
Seven in the morning, and Rena's alarm had screeched into the silent morning, waking her up from her sweet slumber. She turned away from her alarm, pretending not to hear it, but after a while, turned back to turn it off. Groaning, she sat up in bed, stretching her arms out and then rubbing her eyes. 'Shouldn't have taken the late shift,' Rena though to herself, 'It's all Airin's fault.'
-FLASHBACK-
"Pleeeaaaseee, Rena~! Can you take my shift tonight? I have a date with Churi, and I already promised her it was going to be the best date ever!"
"Fine. But only because it's for Churi. Wouldn't want her to have a horrible date experience. You owe me."
"Thank you, Rena!" With that, Airin hugged Rena tightly, not letting go as the latter struggled to be free.
"You're.. Killing me.." Rena said desperately. "I still... Want to live."
"Oh.." Airin let go of Rena after her plea for life. "Sorry about that. Heheh."
-FLASHBACK END-
'But it's needed if I want my pay.' She let out a yawn as she tossed the blanket off of her, getting out of bed and walking into the bathroom. After finishing her morning routine which consisted of washing her face and brushing her teeth, she made her way to the kitchen. She then took a slice of bread and putting it into the toaster and poured herself some orange juice. While waiting for her bread, she turned on the T.V and watched the news. Hearing a certain pop, she went back into the kitchen and grabbed her bread, spreading some strawberry jam on it.
She plopped down on the couch and watched the news while eating. There was nothing new, really. It was mostly the same things; weather, important dates, police reports, things that Rena wasn't actually interested in but still watched anyways.
After she finished her breakfast, she went back to her room to get changed for work. Rena was a waitress at a cafe not far from where she lived. It was actually quite popular among girls, having mostly all the tables full everyday. She put on her white button up shirt, a pair of light gray jeans, and her baby blue converse. With that, she grabbed her phone and keys, heading out to her workplace.
The walk to the cafe was mostly quiet, like it always was, but as she got closer to the cafe, it started getting louder and she could start seeing a crowd. This wasn't the usual. There usually weren't this many people. Being a curious person that Rena was, she continued on to see where the commotion was, and unfortunately, it was right in front of the cafe she worked at.
Paying no mind to the crowd, Rena entered in quickly and went into the employee room to get her apron and nametag on. Before going out of the door, she bumped into Airin. "Airin, what's up with that crowd out there? What are they so excited about?" Rena asked. "Are we finally becoming that famous?" Airin had a shocked look on her face. She couldn't believe that her friend didn't know what was happening. "Rena. Don't tell me you don't know what's happening."
Rena really didn't know why Airin was asking her this. Of course Rena didn't know. If she did, she wouldn't ask about it. In reply to Airin, she shoook her head. Airin was dumbfounded with her friend's lack of knowing what was happening and exclaimed, "Oh my gosh. Rena! It's Matsui Jurina! The idol Jurina! The famous Matsui Jurina! The one that everyone's talking about! She's in front of our cafe, and she's going to come into here! You guys even have the same family name!" Rena shrugged and gave Airin an uninterested look, walking out of the room and went to serve their customers.
"The one everyone's talking about?" Rena muttered to herself. Surely the people around her were not talking about her, since she had not heard of Matsui Jurina at all. Or probably because she just didn't care. 'Why..' she thought, 'Why do I have to share the same family name with and idol'
Well, her day had been ruined. Rena didn't know what the big deal was with an idol eating at a cafe. She didn't care, she had never liked idols in the first place. For one, they were stuck up, acting like they were the best just because they were famous. Rena hated that part about them and never cared to even learn more about them. She took the notepad and pen from her apron's pocket, walking to the table that was closest to her. She slapped on a smile and took the customer's order, going back to the counter to give it to the person behind it. While waiting, she watched the crowd outside, wondering why they were still there when the person actually didn't even care about them.
When her order arrived, she took it to the customer, then came back to where she was. The door of the cafe opened, and was suddenly filled with squeals of fangirls. 'Probably that idol,' Rena thought with a grimace. She leaned against the wall, letting the other waiters do the work since she was tired and had the motivation sucked out of her by a person she didn't even know. She closed her eyes, escaping the reality for a bit.
"Oi, Rena!" A voice had brought her back into reality, much to her dislike. She would've glared at whoever it was, but the person being her employer, Nakanishi Yuka, she couldn't do anything about it.
"Yes, what is it, Yuka?" "Don't call me Yuka while we're working!" "Then do you want me to call you 'Yuka-senpai' just like in the old days?" Rena teased. Yuka had been her senpai in high school and they were good friends, thus making her and Airin employees without going through the interviews and such.
"Whatever. I'm fine with Yuka then," she said rolling her eyes and then pointed to a person. "Anyways, I want you to go take that person's order." Looking to where she was pointing, Rena saw that it was the idol. How did she know? Well, with all the girls surrounding her, it wasn't hard to figure out. She protested at first, saying that she didn't want to, and making excuses that she was too tired, but being told 'You won't get paid then' had an impact on her. She reluctantly made her way to the idol, trudging and sighing in discontent. When she got in front of the table, she weakly smiled, asking the well rehearsed question, "Welcome to Heart's Panic Cafe, have you decided what you want to order?"
Jurina waited for a moment before answering, scanning through the menu. "Mm.. I'd like a strawberry shortcake and some strawberry milk to go along with it." After answering, she waited until Rena was done taking down her order until handing her the menu.
During that moment, they had made eye contact for a bit, and for Jurina, it seemed as if there was some sort of spark between them. Of course not for Rena, because what did she care? She turned around and walked back to the counter, giving the order to the person. When the order came to her, she took it to Jurina's table, placing it down and speaking in a monotonous voice, "Here's your order." As she turned back, Jurina gazed at her back, then down at her snack and began eating.
Seeing that Jurina was finished eating, Rena walked back to her table, taking the plate, fork, and cup back. She came back with Jurina's check, giving it to the idol. Jurina looked at the check and took out her wallet. She grabbed some money and gave it to Rena. "Keep the change." Jurina stood up from her seat, walking towards the exit of the cafe.
Watching her, Rena was relieved that she was leaving. Jurina then turned around, walking back to Rena and stood right in front of her. "You know, you're kind of cute. Maybe I'll start coming here more often and have you be my waitress." She smirked and winked at Rena, earning gasps and sounds of unhappiness from her fans, then turned back and went out the door.
Start coming here more often?! No, no, no. Rena did not want this. She almost reached her limit with one visit, and now she had to endure it everyday? This couldn't possibly be happening!

Ideas were overflowing at midnight, so I had to keep writing. ^^ anyways here's the next chapter.

Another day of work, and Rena absolutely did not want to go. She was still bitter about what had happened last week, with the idol and her fans in the cafe. She had thought that Jurina had only been bluffing, and that she wouldn't actually come everyday. Unfortunately for Rena, Jurina was not bluffing, and came back the next day at the same time with her fans following behind. She sat at the table that she had sat at for the first visit, claiming it to be her table. As for Rena, she had been appointed as Jurina's waitress by Yuka, complying to Jurina's request.
Today was just another day of the same things. Wake up, get ready, go to work, come back home, and sleep. Rena did not want to get out of her bed and left her alarm going for 5 minutes. She grabbed the other pillow, covering her face with it and screaming into it. After releasing her frustration, she tossed the pillow aside, sitting up in her bed. "This sucks," she said out loud. Reluctantly, she got out of bed and begun her day.
Work was the same as usual. Take orders and talk with Airin as they passed each other. So far, her day at work was going good, making her forget about Jurina. While she was resting by the counter, Airin came by to talk to her.
"Taking a rest, Rena?" Airin asked as she gave the order to the person behind the counter, leaning against it. Rena replied with a nod, turning to face her. "I forgot to ask, but how was your date with Churi?" After asking that, Airin had a big smile on her face, brimming with excitement. "Oh! It was amazing! We went out to eat, and then we went to an amusement park! Did you know? The lights of the amusement park are amazing when they are lit up at night!" Hearing Airin's excitement in her reply, Rena laughed a bit. "No, I haven't seen the lights at night, maybe I'll have to go see them." Airin nodded, teasing Rena. "You do! Maybe that idol will take you~"
Rena's smile suddenly went away as the thoughts of Jurina came into her mind. How she wanted to just kick the girl out and never have to see her again, but of course, she didn't want to lose her job. "Stop teasing me about her! You know I really don't like idols!" "Yeah, yeah. I know. What's a best friend that doesn't know what their friend likes and dislikes~"
Suddenly, the volume outside increased, and Airin pointed outside, smirking. Rena muttered to herself, "Speak of the devil," and turned around to face the door.
She watched as Jurina entered with her mob of people, groaning as she slowly and painfully made her way towards her table. She waited until Jurina sat down before taking her order without any hospitality. "What do you want?" Jurina faked a pained look, smiling afterwards and replying, "Feisty, eh? But anyways, I'll have the usual." "The usual?" "You know, what I usually order. A strawberry shortcake with a cup of strawberry milk." "Riiiiight. I'll be back."
Jurina watched as Rena walked back to the counter, waiting for her food to come. Even if they had just met, Jurina found Rena to be quite cute and to her liking, but unfortunately, it seemed as if Rena didn't care for her. Her smile seemed sad for a bit, until she cheered herself up and had a genuine smile on once again. Rena then came back and set her food on the table, standing there for a bit more. "Oh, and could you please tell your fans to stop following you into here and leave? They're taking up a lot of space." With that, Rena left the table and went to take other customers' orders.
"Well. You heard her. Sorry lovely fans of mine, but you guys have to leave," Jurina told them. The crowd groaned, turning around and leaving. After they left,
Jurina enjoyed her food happily as she thought about many things, Rena being one of the thoughts of many. Rena had been on Jurina's mind for the past week, and she couldn't seem to get Rena out of her mind. Every time she thought about Rena, she was suddenly filled with happiness and the feeling of wanting to see her.
Seeing the crowd leave and Jurina eating happily, Rena smiled to herself, unknowingly blushing a bit. "Why are you smiling?" She asked herself worriedly. "It can't be because of Jurina, right? Of course not. It's because the crowd left and it's easier to move around now. Right, right." She nodded, continuing to work.
After finishing with her food, she called Rena over to get her check, bringing it over to the counter to pay. When she finished paying, she talked to the person over the counter. "Excuse me. Do you know when Rena's shift ends?" "I believe it's around 5:30." "Thank you~" With that, she walked out of the cafe happily, and with the information that she had obtained, she would come back and wait for Rena after her shift had ended.
A long day at the cafe had finished yet again, and Rena was ready to go home and crash onto her bed or couch. Either one was fine, really. All she wanted was to get some rest and maybe get in a few episodes of an anime that she was watching. After she put her apron and nametag away and said her goodbye's, she walked out the door, eyes on her phone. While walking, she didn't see whoever was in front of her, and had accidentally bumped into that person. She looked up, and much to her dislike, it was Jurina that she had bumped into.
"What are you doing here?" Rena asked.
"Ouch. I don't get a 'sorry' or a 'my bad'? Even if I am an idol, I'm a human too, you know." Jurina stated. "But anyways. I'm here for you, of course." Rena looked at Jurina with a confused look, questioning her, "Me? What for? Is it revenge for me telling your fans to leave?"
"What? No. I just wanted to see you," Jurina replied, smiling. Rena scoffed, feeling her body heat rise a bit and her heart skip a couple of beats. "Me? Why? I'm sorry, but I'm busy." After telling Jurina that, she continued, walking past the girl.
"Did my body heat just rise? Did my heart just skip beats? This can't be happening. No. You hate idols, remember?" She tried to calm herself down, but to no avail. Instead, it just made her think more about Jurina. Jurina and her beautiful eyes, and her perfect, kissable lips. "No Rena! You can't be having these thoughts about someone you hate! Don't!" She blushed red, walking at a quicker pace.
Gazing at Rena's back, she shouted to her, "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then. Twice, both at the usual times!" She turned around and started going her own way, talking to herself. "Well. That was a fail. I'll try again tomorrow! No worries."
When Rena got home, she went straight to the bathroom, washing her face with cold water to try to get rid of the red in her cheeks. It helped a bit, but her cheeks were still pink. She grabbed a towel and dried her face, looking at herself in the mirror. "Oh Rena, what's gotten into you. You said you hated idols, and now, feelings for one? That can't be right. It's just the weather. Yeah, that's it. The weather." She nodded, going into her bedroom and changed into comfortable clothes. After changing she went into the living room, laying down on the couch.
While she was lost in her own world away from reality, Jurina suddenly came up in her mind, making her blush even more. She tried to shoo away the thought, but it did not go away. After threatening the thought of Jurina, it had finally went away, and Rena was able to rest easy. That was, until the doorbell rang. She got up and went to see who it was, opening the door.

Hai, hai~ Sorry for the long wait, but I have finally stopped slacking and finished chapter 3!! It's a bit longer than the first two, so I hope you have fun reading it~

Opening the door, the person was revealed to be none other than Airin. Rena let out a sigh of relief, saying, "Airin, you should've told me that you were coming over. I would've at least cleaned up a bit." "Ah, sorry about that," the other girl let out a laugh, continuing her sentence, "But it was kind of a last minute plan." "Ah, I see," Rena moved aside and opened the door wider, "Well anyways, come in." After Airin entered the house, Rena closed the door and the two went and sat on the couch.
"So. Is there anything you want to do?" Rena asked, not wanting to be rude and continue what she was doing before. Airin took some time to think, and then answered ecstatically, "Oh yeah! We should have a hot pot night! Just like how we used to in high school and college!" "A hot pot night? Let me go see if I have the ingredients for it first."
Rena got off the couch and went into the kitchen, checking the refrigerator for the needed items. She looked everywhere in there, but it seemed that she didn't have any of the necessary ingredients. Closing the fridge, she walked back to the living room, facing Airin.
"I don't have any of the ingredients, so we'll have to go buy them. Wait for me while I go get my wallet, and then we can go." After telling Airin that, she went into her room, grabbing her wallet and then coming back. "Okay, Airin! Let's go." Airin stood up abruptly, skipping happily to the door and put her shoes on. Rena waited until Airin had finished before putting on her own shoes. The both of them then exited the house, making their way to the convenience store.
Once they got out of the house, Rena didn't want them to walk in an awkward silence, so she initiated the conversation by asking a question. "So why'd you think of visiting me, Airin?" Airin thought for a moment, trying to remember why, and then she finally remembered. "Oh yeah! I was thinking about your house ever since you left to go home. For some reason, I thought 'I haven't visited Rena in a long time' and then that led me to come over." Rena nodded, "I see."
"You know," Airin stated, "You're house hasn't changed a bit! I still remember everything as it is!" Rena giggled, "Is it? I guess it really hasn't changed much."
The two of them continued to talk about many things on their way to the store until they finally got there. "Ah! We're here!" Rena exclaimed. They entered the store and Rena grabbed a basket. They walked around the store, picking up any of the ingredients they needed and put it into the basket. After they were done getting all the ingredients, they headed to the checkout lane. They paid for their things, and walked back home.
When they arrived at Rena's doorstep, she put the groceries down and opened the door for the both of them. They took off their shoes and then headed towards the kitchen, setting the ingredients down on the table. They washed their hands and then began to prepare the ingredients, washing them and cutting them. Finishing with the preparations, they began to cook.
After an hour or so of preparing, cooking, and playing around, it was finally time to eat. Airin skipped excitedly into the living room while Rena followed after, setting the pot on the table. Airin took a seat on the floor as Rena went back into the kitchen to get the eating utensils. While waiting for Rena to come back, Airin turned on the TV, switching to the music entertainment channel. When Rena came back, she handed the other girl a bowl, a pair of chopsticks, and a spoon, sitting down across from her. The both of them took some from the hot pot and put it in their bowls, eating as they watched the TV.
As Rena was looking down at her bowl, Airin suddenly exclaimed, "Ah! It's Jurina!" Rena quickly snapped her head up, and indeed, it was Jurina on the TV. Rena's heart started beating faster and her body heat started rising as the blood went up to her face, coloring her cheeks a pink color.
"Ah~ Rena-chan, are you blushing?" Airin teased with a laugh. Rena protested, although she knew very well that she was. "I am not! It's just hot in here since it's summer and we just made a hot pot." In the midst of their 'argument', they heard the interviewer on the TV question, "Jurina-chan, lately, where are all the hot spots?" With that, the two girls payed attention to the TV.
"Mm.. Recently, I've been going to this cafe, and it's really nice! I really like their food, especially the strawberry shortcake." Jurina answered with a smile. Rena and Airin were shocked at her answer. To make sure, Airin asked Rena, "She's talking about our cafe, isn't she?!" Rena shrugged and answered, "Of course. Isn't that the only cafe that she's been to recently?" Airin smiled and they continued watching.
Curious, the interviewer inquired more. "Will you tell us the name of the cafe?" "Ah.. Well, I would, but one of the workers, a waitress that had been appointed to me, doesn't like crowds of people, so I won't tell you the name." Jurina replied, chuckling. "Ohoho~ Who could she be talking about, hmm~?" Airin teased with a smirk, nudging her elbow towards the other girl. Rena didn't pay no mind to Airin as she continued to watch and see what else the idol had to say about her or the cafe.
"Oh, is that so? Maybe she just wants you all to herself?" The interviewer asked, laughing afterwards, "Joking, joking." Jurina also laughed, replying "I wonder if that is so? Actually, she's quite cute." With that being said, Airin exclaimed, "Rena! She just called you cute!" Rena heart was beating faster then ever with Jurina calling her cute, biting her lip, as a small smile decorated her face. 'No Rena, this can't possibly be happening!' She instantly wiped the smile off her face, muttering out, "Annoying." Soon, the show came to an end and Rena was glad that she didn't have to see Jurina's face anymore, so she wouldn't have to feel things for Jurina that she didn't want.
After finishing with eating, they cleaned the dishes, going back to the living room. "Ne, Rena. Can I sleep over?" Rena thought about it for a moment, then nodded her head. "Sure, you can sleep over. Oh yeah, you can take a shower if you want." The other girl stood up, stretching and making her way to the bathroom, "I'll take a shower then." "Wait. Before you go, let me give you some clothes for tonight." Saying that, Rena stood up and walked to her bedroom with Airin following afterwards.She looked through her closet and picked out a pair of shorts and a t-shirt for Airin, giving it to the girl. "Oh, and there are towels in there." "Alright, thank you, Rena-chan~"
While Airin left to go take a shower, Rena went back into the living room, plopping down onto the couch. With nothing to do, she began talking to herself. "Why did she have to appear on TV? Tch, this girl, making me feel all fluffy inside." She aggressively grabbed a pillow from the couch and covered her face with it, screaming into it. As she threw the pillow back onto the couch, Airin came out, drying her hair with the towel. "Oho~ What was that?" The other girl asked, walking to the other couch and sitting down. Rena replied in a reassuring tone, "Nothing, it was nothing. I'll go take my shower now. Oh, and if you want to blow dry your hair, I have a blow dryer in my room. It should be on my dresser drawer." After telling Airin that, she left to go into her room, grabbing a change of clothes and entering the bathroom.
As Rena was taking a shower, Airin waited for a bit before going into her room to use the blow dryer. "How could that have been nothing?" She asked herself, and then answered herself with a laugh, "She totally has something for Jurina." When she finished drying her hair, it was just in time for Rena to come out of the bathroom and dry her hair. Finishing with drying her hair, the both of them headed to the bathroom once more, brushing their teeth.
Done with all the night routines, they exited the bathroom, standing outside the door.
"Airin, did you want me to sleep with you in the living room? Since there's two couches and all." Airin nodded in reply, not wanting to be alone. Seeing her friend nod in reply, Rena spoke again. "Okay. Come with me to my room. We need to grab some stuff." The taller girl lead the shorter into her room, opening another closet and grabbing an extra pillow and blanket, then gave it to the shorter girl. As soon as Airin received her pillow and blanket, she ran into the living room, jumping onto a couch and getting ready for sleep. Rena shook her head at the older girl, grabbing her stuff and walking to the living room. After setting up her make shift bed on the couch, she got up to turn off the light.
Airin suddenly exclaimed, "Wait! Don't turn off the light yet." "What is it?" Rena asked, sighing. Airin started laughing, causing the younger girl to get annoyed. Rena turned off the light with no warning, earning a yelp from Airin as she walked to her couch and laying down.
A few minutes later, Airin began talking again, whispering. "Ne, Rena. You like Jurina, don't you?" With that question, Rena's mind was filled with Jurina, her body heat rising and her heart skipping beats. "Don't be crazy. I can care less about her." Somehow, saying that pained Rena a bit, but she pushed that feeling away.
She stared at the dark ceiling, cursing at Jurina in her mind. "I hate you. I hate that I'm starting to like you." She then covered her face with her blanket in frustration, trying to sleep.

"Rena! What are you doing?! Wake up!!"
Rena woke up to the sound of Airin yelling at her. Her eyes fluttered open, and with a sleepy voice, she inquired, "What is it, Airin? Let me sleep for a few more minutes.." With that, Airin facepalmed, shaking Rena violently, and exclaimed, "Sleep for a few more minutes?! Rena!! Are you crazy?! We have work in 15 minutes, and if your don't get up and get ready for work, we are going to be late!!" Rena's eyes widened as she sat up instantly, throwing the blanket off of her and running to the bathroom.
She quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth, rushing into her room to get some clothes on. After she was done with that, she came back out to the living room. "Okay, Airin. I'm finished. Let's go." She walked quickly to the door, putting on her shoes. "Uh, Rena.." Airin started, "You forgot to do your hair." Rena suddenly stood up and rushed to the bathroom once more, muttering, "This is bad, this is bad. What if we're late because of me? Stupid Jurina. It's all her fault, appearing in my mind." She found the hair brush and quickly brushed her hair, having no time to put it in her usual ponytail. After she was done with her hair, the both of them rushed out of Rena's house and sprinted towards the cafe.
Luckily, they had arrived on time, although they were panting heavily. Yuka walked out and saw them, asking, "What's up with you two?" Yuka leaned back onto the counter, crossing her arms over her chest. Airin raised her hand, and pointed to Rena. "She... She would not wake up this morning." Yuka was amazed. Usually Rena always woke up the same time everyday.
"Oho~ Rena? Not waking up at the right time for once? This is amazing."
"Shut up, Yuka." Rena retorted, glaring at the older woman. "Is that any way to talk to your boss~?"
After teasing Rena, Yuka went back into the employee room, but before she went, she said one last thing. "Hurry up and get your apron and name tags on. Your shifts start in three minutes." The two girls quickly followed after their elder, entering the employee room and putting on their aprons and name tags. They waited in there until it was time for their shifts, then they went out, working.
For some reason, Rena always found herself checking the time on her watch while working. Airi soon noticed that and approached her about it. As soon as Airin got to Rena, she teased her. "Could it be you're excited to see Jurina? Because you keep looking at your watch." Rena didn't pay any attention to it, though she was feeling quite flustered inside. "You've got to be kidding," Rena stated, "Who would be excited to see her? Definitely not me." Airin laughed, pointing at her friend's face. "Your face would say so otherwise. Who blushes when they're looking at their watch?" Rena instantly brought her hand up to her cheeks, then to her forehead, countering Airin's question. "Hey, Jurina has nothing to do with me waking up late, resulting in the two of us having to sprint to work. And why do I keep looking at my watch? It's because I'm waiting for lunch break."
"Sure she didn't. Because I'm sure I heard someone say Jurina's name out loud last night, and I am pretty damn sure it was not me. So, who else is left? Oh yeah, you. How do you explain that, hm?" Airin teased, nudging Rena with her elbow and giving her a weird look. Rena was shocked. "Well, maybe I did say her name. It's not my fault unwanted people come into my dreams." Airin's eyes widened and her mouth hung open as she pointed to Rena. A grin soon decorated Airin's face. "Ahh.. I was just lying! So you did dream about Jurina then! That's why you didn't wake up! It all makes sense now!"
Rena felt dumb for falling for her friend's trick. "So what if I did? It wasn't even what you think it was. She was a creep that was disguising himself as a girl! It was horrible. Sorry to cut this conversation short, but I have to get back to work, Airi, and so should you." Though that's what she said about her dream, she knew it was nothing like that at all.
-DREAM-
Rena woke up in the empty cafe and looked around. There was no one around and Rena started feeling weirded out. She stood up from the table and exited the cafe. As soon as she got outside, she thought she'd hear voices of people and see crowds of people, but there was no one in sight. She then came to the conclusion that she was the only one in town, and everyone had magically disappeared. Not knowing why, she headed towards the park.
When she got to the park, she took a seat on the bench, staring at the empty playground from afar. Somehow it was wrong, to see the playground without any children playing on it. While she was busy staring at it, someone had come behind her and covered her eyes. "Guess who?" The person asked.
As soon as the person spoke, Rena instantly knew who it was. "Out of all the people I could be stuck alone with, why did it have to be Jurina?" Rena thought to herself, but she wasn't complaining. A smile crept on her face as her cheeks turned a pinkish color. She replied to the other quietly, "Jurina." "Yup, that's correct~!" Jurina exclaimed as she removed her hands, wrapping them around Rena's shoulders. With that interaction between the two, Rena felt like she was burning up, and to save herself, she patted the seat next to her. "Here, come sit next to me."
After sitting down, Jurina immediately clung onto Rena's arm. Rena was confused about why she was doing this to her, so she asked. "Jurina.. Why are you―-" But before she could finish her question, she was cut off. "Actually, I wanted to talk to you." Jurina sat up properly, reluctantly letting go of Rena's arm, and looked at her straight in the eye. Rena was surprised. What could she have to talk about so seriously? She turned to face Rena and set her hands on Rena's shoulders with a firm grip. Suddenly, Jurina pulled Rena into a hug, and spoke quietly. "You see.. Um.. How should I say this. I think.. No. I am―-"
-DREAM END-
"It's all Airi's fault," Rena thought. "If she waited a bit to wake me up, I'd know what Jurina was going to tell me.. But.. Her hugs are really warm." She smiled, shaking her head and getting back to work.
In the midst of working hard, the door opened and the bells jingled. Rena instantly turned her head, but it was not Jurina. She continued to do this for the next ten minutes, turning to see whoever it was whenever the door was opened. Of course, Airin noticed this and gossiped to Yuka who was leaning against the wall.
Airin went over to Yuka, leaning against the wall next to her. "Well, would you look at that, Yuka. Seems our little Rena is waiting for someone." Airin spoke quietly with a smirk, not taking her eyes off of Rena. Yuka moved her gaze to Rena, grinning as she saw Rena instantly look to the door whenever someone came in. "It would seem so." The elder chuckled, "Girl's got a crush, doesn't she?" Airin shrugged in reply, "I would like to think that, as much as she likes to deny it." Yuka smirked, calling Rena over.
After hearing her name, she turned around, walking to her boss. "What do you want? Can't you see I'm working?" "Of course I can see that. But there are also other workers here too. And I'm your boss, so it's fine." Rena sighed, her eyes closing for a bit before she open them again, looking at Yuka, then Airin, and back at Yuka. "Fine, what is it?" The other two grinned, then Yuka pointed at Rena. "You..." She laughed, "You like Jurina-chan, don't you?" Rena scoffed, "Don't joke around. As if I would like someone like her." To that, Airin retorted, "Sure, sure. But it seems you were checking who came through the door too often, eh?"
"Shut up. That's normal, isn't it? To look at customers that come through the door and greet them." Rena tried to conceal her real intention with whatever she could. Airi countered Rena, her reply dripping with sarcasm. "Yes, because you greeted everyone who came through the door. Mhmm." Rena clicked her tongue, "Maybe I didn't, but at least I acknowledged the people who came through, unlike some people."
Airi and Yuka weren't listening to Rena, and instead they were watching the person outside of the cafe. Of course, the person was Jurina. They were watching her as she approached the cafe, but they were snapped back into the conversation by Rena. "Hey, you guys weren't even listening! Who calls someone over and doesn't listen to them when they talk?" As Rena was talking, she didn't notice the door opening, and continued to talk. "Hellooo! I'm talking here! You two don't even―-" Yuka interrupted Rena, "Shut up. The person who you've been waiting this whole day for is here." The two girls then proceeded to turn Rena around and push her to Jurina's table.
Jurina arrived at the table, seeing Rena was already there. She smiled, taking a seat. "You're late." Rena said. Hearing that, Jurina countered her statement, "Or is it just that you're early? This could go both ways, you know." "Tch. Anyways, the usual?" Jurina nodded in reply as the other girl began to turn around and walk back. While gazing at Rena's back, Jurina had noticed something weird about her appearance. She pondered about it for a few minutes until she finally got it. Her hair. She didn't tie it up in the usual ponytail that she did. After a few more minutes, Rena came back with Jurina's food and set it on the table. As Rena was getting ready to go back, Jurina stopped her. "Hey, you look good with your hair down."
Luckily, Rena had her back to her, so she wouldn't be able to see the blush on Rena's face. Despite how much her heart was beating and how flustered she felt, she managed to mutter out a "thank you" and walked back. A while later, Jurina finished her food and called Rena over to bring the bill, paying for it. After paying for the bill, she left the cafe.
Another long day of work had finished, and Rena was ready to go home. She went into the employee room, taking off her apron and nametag and putting it in her locker. After finishing with that, she exited the room, saying good bye to her co-workers. When she got out of the cafe and turned, she was surprised to see Jurina, leaned against the cafe's wall.
"You're here again?" Rena asked.
Hearing her voice, Jurina stood up straight and faced her, nodding. "What for?" "Because I want to see you." Rena scoffed, "You've got to be kidding me, right?
You see me everyday at the cafe." Jurina sighed. "I meant away from your work. I want to see the Rena that isn't working. The Rena that isn't a waitress." Rena didn't know what to say. She was speechless, her heart was beating fast and her blood was rushing to her cheeks. She tried to play it cool, not wanting to give up, laughing dryly. "Good luck with that. Anyways, I'm tired. I'm going to go home."
Rena continued walking past Jurina, but Jurina wasn't going to give up. She turned around and started to follow Rena. Rena glanced back and saw Jurina, and asked, "Why are you following me?" Jurina shrugged. "Because I want to." In reply, Rena sighed and said, "Fine, do what you want."

Chapter 5 is finally here~ I like this chapter. Som things happen, but I won't spoil it~ You'll have to read to find out~

Jurina continued following Rena until they reached her home. The idol gazed at the house while the other went ahead and started to unlock the door. "So this is where you live.." Jurina spoke loud enough for Rena to hear, earning a shocked gasp and a sudden turn around from Rena. "You were still following me?!" Rena exclaimed. Jurina didn't say anything, but simply nodded. She then felt something weird on her face. She brought her hand up and wiped it off. Water. She started feeling more drop onto her. "Ah, it's raining." She thought. She walked to the door, standing in front of Rena. Rena could feel herself becoming flustered, so she turned around. She grasped the door handle and opened it, coldly giving Jurina a farewell before she went inside.
Just as Rena entered her house and closed the door, it started raining heavily. Rena leaned against the door, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. "God, Rena. What's gotten into you?" She thought to herself, patting her cheeks. In the middle of calming herself, she heard Jurina speaking to herself on the other side of the door. "Aahh.. It's raining hard. I'm going to have to walk home in this rain. Hopefully I don't get sick." The idol continued to look at the rain, but then finally decided to take a step out of the shelter, feeling the raindrops hit her. Since it was pouring, it was only a matter of seconds that Jurina was drenched by the rain. She started to walk out of Rena's property.
Sure, Rena hated idols, but she wasn't that mean of a person. Within a few seconds of contemplating to open the door or not, she finally made her decision. She opened the door and yelled out to Jurina. "Wait!" The sudden voice caught Jurina's attention and she turned around to face Rena. "Just in time," Rena thought. "What?" Jurina asked. Rena didn't know what to say next. Her mind was a jumble of words, but luckily she spoke before the awkward silence would dictate the both of them. "Um, you can stay over if you'd like. Just until the rain stops." Who would Jurina have to be to refuse that offer? She smiled, walking back to stand in front of Rena, and replying, "Thanks."
Rena opened the door wider, letting Jurina come inside. "God, you're drenched already. Wait here. I'm going to go get you a towel so you can dry up." With that, Rena left Jurina at the door, entering the bathroom and grabbing a towel. Before she went back out there, she looked at herself in the mirror, making sure she looked okay. "Oh, I should probably grab a change of clothes for her too." She said to herself. After that, she went into her room, grabbing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt for the girl. Not wanting to let Jurina wait any longer, she quickly exited her room and went back to Jurina.
"Here," Rena handed Jurina the towel and change of clothes. "And a change of clothes for you to change into. Oh, and you can take a shower if you want to. The bathroom's over there." She pointed in the direction of the bathroom, then walked into the kitchen. "If you need me, I'll be in the kitchen preparing dinner." Jurina nodded, "Thank you." After that, she took off her shoes and made her way to the bathroom to take a shower.
While Jurina was taking a shower, Rena stood in te kitchen, pondering about what to make for dinner. She looked in her rice cooker, and it seems there was no more rice left. She then opened the fridge and looked inside, taking out a few items. "I guess I'll just make some soup." She said to herself. She closed the fridge, opening a cabinet and taking out a pot, filling it up with water and letting it sit on the stove while she prepared the ingredients. When the water started to boil, she put the meat in first, leaving it until the meat was fully cooked. Then she put in all the vegetables, stirring it with a spoon every once in a while.
Just as Jurina came out of the bathroom, Rena finished cooking. Jurina smelled something good coming from the kitchen and followed the scent. "Mm~ What are you cooking?" Rena took a glance at Jurina and turned back around, replying in a cold tone, "Ah, it's you. Just some soup. Hope that's good enough for you."
Jurina nodded in reply, saying, "Yeah, soup is good." After she replied to Rena, she went into the living room, looking at he photos that were hung up.
In truth, Rena didn't know why she was acting cold towards Jurina, when really, she was starting to like her. Perhaps it was her mind that was telling her to throw away the feelings and continue hating idols like she always did, but she shook it off, taking a look outside the window. It was still raining heavily, and it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon. Rena stopped looking at the rain, opening a cabinet and grabbing two bowls and two spoons from a drawer. She then filled up the two bowls with soup, taking them into the living room.
"Here," She stated, handing the bowl to Jurina, "And you should sit down." Jurina took the bowl without hesitation, sitting down on one of the couches. After Jurina sat down, Rena sat on the other couch, only paying attention to her bowl of soup. Before eating, Jurina thanked Rena. "Thanks, I was getting very hungry." Without further ado, she took a spoonful and without cooling it down, she put it in her mouth, resulting in accidentally burning her tongue. She instantly dropped her spoon back into her bowl, bringing her hand up to cover her mouth. "Ah! It's hot." Noticing the excessive movement from the other, Rena glanced over to Jurina, saying, "Of course it's hot, it just came out of the pot. You should be more careful."
"Sorry, I'll be more careful~ But you didn't even ask if I was okay. Isn't that the first thing you should ask?" Jurina smirked, waiting for Rena's answer. To that, Rena glared at Jurina, "By the way that you are talking, I would assume that you are fine." "Mou~ Rena-chan! You should be nicer to people who are younger than you!" "And you should use proper honorifics when talking to someone older than you." Rena didn't pay any mind to the idol that was sitting across from her, and instead continued eating. Jurina had also started eating again after burning her tongue, letting the silence overtake the both of them. After a few minutes, Rena finished her soup, getting up to go put her bowl away in the sink. Shortly after, Jurina also finished, following Rena.
Rena didn't know that Jurina was behind her, so when she turned around quickly, she was shocked to have her face so close to Jurina's. Their faces were only a couple inches apart, and Rena could feel her body heat rising. She tried to move, but her body wouldn't move. It's as if her body wanted her to stay like that. The both of them stared into each other's eyes for a moment, until Jurina spoke up. "You're so close~ Could it be... You want a kiss?" The younger girl smirked, leaning in closer. Rena gasped, moving out of the way before their lips could meet. There was a distinct shade of pink across Rena's face as she moved out of the way, walking back to the living room before Jurina could notice it.
After setting her bowl in the sink, Jurina went back into the living room, taking a seat on the couch that she was on before. With nothing to do, she started humming to herself, looking around the house. Noticing the humming, Rena glanced over to Jurina. Every few moments, Rena would steal glances at the idol, trying not to get caught. Unbeknownst to Rena, Jurina was also doing the same thing, taking glances. They sat in an awkward silence for some time, making both of them feel awkward. Breaking the silence, Rena spoke. "It seems the rain won't let up until tomorrow. Would you like to spend the night?" Before she could process it in her mind, it slipped out of her. Rena blinked in surprise. "Oh gosh, Rena. What did you just do?!" She mentally slapped her forehead, putting on a smile. To her surprise, Jurina accepted the offer to stay the night. Before it could get awkward again, Rena quickly spoke up. "You can use those," she said pointing to the neatly folded blanket with the pillow resting on top. "And I have an extra toothbrush that you can use. The toothbrushes are in the first drawer. You can use the bathroom first."
"Okay." Jurina nodded, standing up and heading to the bathroom. When she got in there, she opened the first drawer, finding the toothbrushes and taking one. Just when Jurina entered the bathroom, Rena remembered that she didn't replace the empty toothpaste with a new tube. She stood up quickly, going into the closet next to the bathroom to grab a new tube. Jurina looked at the empty toothpaste, taking it and opening the door. "Rena-chan, you―-" Rena turned too quickly, and with no distance between them, the two's lips met for the first time. The both of them were shocked and stayed in that position for a few seconds, until Rena pulled away, blushing. "I- I'm sorry about that." She bowed in an apologeic sense, exending her arm to give Jurina the toothpaste. "Here's the new bottle of toothpaste." After handing Jurina the new tube of toothpaste, Rena instantly turned around and went back into the living room.
She sat down on the couch, trying to calm herself down from the even that had just happened. She brought her hand up, her finger running along her lips. She couldn't believe that that had just happened. Her first kiss, gone like that. Flustered and with nothing to calm herself down, she picked up her pillow and blanket from last night and brought them into her room. She set it on her bed and lay sprawled out on her bed until she heard Jurina come out of the bathroom. She then stood up from her bed, taking her towel and a change of clothes, entering the bathroom.
Jurina sat down on the couch, leaning back on it. She couldn't believe that she and Rena had kissed, even though it was accidental. All Jurina could think about was Rena's lips. She could only think about how soft they were, how very kissable they were. If she had a chance, she would kiss them again and again. Oh, how they perfectly fit with her own. Just a little touch wasn't enough. She had to have more, wanted to taste more of Rena's lips. In the midst of thinking, Rena's voice broke her from her thoughts.
"I'll be in my room, so if you need anything, you know where to find me."
Rena didn't dare go out there, due to the event that just happened. She hid behind the wall, trying not to stutter. "You can turn off the lights whenever you want to, but no later than midnight." After stating that, she made her way to her bedroom, closing the door halfway and laying down on her bed. She was still flustered about the kiss, even though it was accidental. Her first kiss, taken in an accident that she didn't even mean to make. If she waited a bit longer, she could've avoided it. With so much thinking, Rena was even more embarassed now. So with having nothing to do, she closed her eyes.
Jurina had not changed her position even once, still sitting and thinking. Somehow, something felt wrong. It felt empty. That's when she decided that all she needed right now was a night's sleep. She stood up, going over to the lightswitch and flipping it off, then went back to the couch. She put the pillow in place and unfolded the blanket to cover her. That's when she knew what was wrong. Usually, when she slept, she'd sleep with her teddy bear, but she didn't have that now, and it was dark. Unusually dark. There was no light in the living room. All the windows were covered with the curtains, blocking any rays of moonlight. Jurina started getting scared, covering her face with the blanket. It was also quiet, too quiet for Jurina. She uncovered her face, and then she found hope. She saw a small streak of light, and so, she stood up, grabbed her pillow, and walked towards it.
When she arrived, she felt relieved. "This must be Rena's room." She hesitated a bit, before knocking lightly of the door.
Rena did not mean to fall asleep, she only wanted to close her eyes for a bit. When she heard knocking at her door, her eyes fluttered open. While still half asleep, Rena went towards the door, opening it a bit wider. In a sleepy voice, she asked, "Hm? What do you need?" "How cute," Jurina thought, but she shook her head, replying to the question. "Rena.. Can I sleep with you? I usually have my teddy bear with me, but right now I don't, so can I sleep with you?" Being half asleep, Rena nodded. "Yeah, go ahead." All she needed right now was sleep, and so, she moved aside, letting Jurina in. After Jurina got in the bed, she turned off the light and got back into the bed. Luckily she had a queen sized bed, so each of them were on their own side, backs facing each other.
The older girl knocked out right after getting in bed, while the younger one tried to sleep. Being this close to each other was a miracle by itself, but what happened to Jurina next was beyond a miracle. Rena had turned around, moving closer to Jurina and wrapping her arms around Jurina. Feeling the warmth radiate from Rena, Jurina smiled, closing her eyes as she finally drift off into dream land.

Aahhh~!! Sorry for the long wait. I actually was reading fanfic and watching dramas and anime. :3 But I finally started yesterday and finished today!! So here's chapter 6 for you~!

The next morning, Rena woke up to an empty space next to her. "Was it just a dream?" she thought. "If it was.. then it felt very real.. And very nice." She shook her head, smiling and letting go of the thoughts as she got up from bed and got ready for work. After getting ready, she headed to her workplace. It was a nice day outside, so Rena was clad in a loose white v-neck t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans rolled up, along with her light blue converse. She walked carelessly, as there was still a lot of time before her shift started. When she arrived at the cafe, she was surprised with how many people there were, despite that it was still morning. She put on her apron and nametag, waiting in the employee room until her shift started.
A few minutes later, Airin came through the door. "Ah! You're here early, Rena." Rena lookd towards Airin, nodding. "Yeah. I woke up early today, since I had a nice long sleep." "Ah.. I see," Airin nodded, walking over to sit next to Rena. She then started nudging the taller girl, smirking, "So, did you dream of the so called 'unwanted person' again?" Rena sighed, "Are you going to ask me that everday? The answer will always be no. And I'm glad that I'm not going to dream about her. It's horrible, you know." To that, Airi raised her hands up defensively, "Alright, alright. Sheesh. Girl doesn't look that bad. She's actually quite cute." "Ohoho~ Should I tell Akane about what you just said? Anyways, let's go. Our shift is starting." Airi glared at Rena, hitting her arm and following her out of the room.
When they got out there, there were still a lot of people. Every table was occupied, and there were still some people standing around, waiting for their turn to be seated. Even though the cafe was already full, more and more people seemed to be coming in. Rena and Airin just stood there, not knowing what to do or where to start. Frustrated, the two of them marched their way to Yuka, demanding to know what was happening.
"Yuka!" They both said at the same time, a bit angry. Shocked, Yuka turned around to see two angry waitresses. "What's up?" She asked calmly. "Why are there so much customers today?! It's like, ten times more than the usual amount of customers that we get!" Rena replied. "Ah, that." Yuka walked towards Rena and Airi, putting her arms around the girls' shoulders. "I went through the trouble of putting a sign out there. Didn't you two see when you were coming in? You see, I was looking at some data, and we haven't really been making profit, and the sales are decreasing. So, I decided to put some drinks and cakes onto a half off menu." Ending her statement, she nodded, hoping the other two would understand. To Yuka's surprise, their reactions were the opposite of what she thought.
"What?! You made a half off menu?! Are you crazy?! How are we going to tend to every customer?" Airi exclaimed. Yuka answered Airi's questiong with a smirk on her face, "We? What do you mean we? That's what I have you two for." "No, Yuka. You brought this upon the cafe, and you are going to help us no matter what." Airi shot a death glare at her boss, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for the answer. "Fine, fine. I'll help you guys. I already have a suggestion anyways." Yuka nodded, walking past Rena and Airi. She then announced to the crowd, "Please make two lines! One from register one if you're ordering to go, and one from register two if you would like a table. Immediately, the crowd dissipated into two orderly lines and Yuka turned back around to the two girls. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it? Now get back to work." She patted the two's head, going back into the kitchen to help with the food.
After an hour of working through the many people, the amount of people did not decrease. As fast as people got their orders and were seated, people came in. The two girls noticed that more people wanted a table instead of ordering to go. Rena looked at her watch, and noticed that it was almost time for Jurina to come over. With that, she went behind the register counter and grabbed a "reserved" sign, placing it on Jurina's table. Her actions only earned complaints from the crowd. "Why is that table reserved?!" A man yelled out. Rena didn't pay any attention to him, continuing her work, but that made the man even more irritated. He stomped over to Rena, grabbing her shoulder and forcefully turning her around. "I asked you a question. Answer me."
The man's actions diverted many people, including other workers, to turn their heads and watch the scene. The cafe became quiet, except for a few whispers here and there. Rena was irritated, sighing a sigh of frustration. She looked at the man with a death glare, clicking her tongue, "Look here, I don't care how long you've been waiting in line for a table. This customer is a special customer who comes everyday at the same time and sits in the same table. Therefore, it is a reserved table only for that customer." The man did not flinch, only tightening his grip and getting angrier. "Well, whoever this 'special customer' is, I don't care! It's first come, first serve. You say they made a reservation? Who the hell makes a reservation at a cafe?! And where the hell are they then?!"
"That would be me, and I have arrived." Jurina crossed her arms, standing behind the man. He turned around to be faced with the idol. Seeing his hand on Rena's shoulder, Jurina harshly removed it. Irritated, the man clicked his tongue and left the cafe. She brushed him off and walked towards Rena, asking her, "Are you okay?" Many people squealed in delight at what the idol was doing, some even taking out their phones and snapping a few pictures. Rena was blushing madly, but turned around quickly before Jurina could see. "I'm fine." She quickly made her way to the kitchen, asking for Jurina's usual order. After watching Rena walk off, Jurina shrugged, walking to her seat. Not even a few minutes later, Rena came back with the order, setting it on Jurina's table.
After Jurina ate, she paid and left. Rena went over and removed the reserved sign, bringing it back to the counter and tending to the other customers. She glanced at her clock, "One more hour until I can leave." She continued to work hard and forgot that it was the end of her shift. Airi went to go put her apron away, and when she came out, Rena was still working. She made her way to Rena, tapping on her shoulder. Rena turned around, greeting, "Yes, how may I help you?" When she saw who it was, she asked, "What do you want?" Airi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest. "Unless you want to work the evening shift too, I suggest you go put your apron away, because your shift was done five minutes ago."
Hearing that, Rena rushed to the employee room, tossing her apron and nametag in her locker and rushing out, saying quick farewells. When she got outside, she turned, and there was the person. "Ah, she's here." She thought to herself, smiling softly. She then frowned, "Wait. Why am I happy to see her? You hate her, Rena!" She continued walking past Jurina, but she was stopped. Jurina looked towards Rena, standing up from her leaning position. "Wait. Let's go to the park." The older girl stood still, "Sorry, I'll have to refuse the offer." Though being shot down, Jurina was still determined to be with Rena, even if it was just for a short amount of time. "I didn't ask you if you wanted to go."
Contemplating about it for a few seconds, she then turned around, sighing. "Fine, let's go then." Jurina smiled, turning around and walking towards the park. Rena walked leisurely behind the younger girl, gazing at her back. Noticing that Rena was not walking next to her, she suddenly halted, turning around. "Mou, Rena! You're slow!" She huffed, a playful pout appearing on her face. Rena just laughed inwardly, walking past Jurina. She then turned around and teased the younger girl, "Now you're the slow one." She stuck out her tongue playfully, letting a laugh escape from her lips. The younger girl, smiled, skipping to catch up with Rena.
The two walked side by side to the park, but they didn't really talk about anything. Rena was lost in her mind, thinking about the only thing that would appear in her mind, which of course, was Jurina. She soon started blushing and smiling, much to her dislike. She instantly wiped it off before Jurina could notice. Not long after, they arrived at their destination. They continued walking on the trail, still not speaking. Finally, Rena spoke up, not wanting to be under the awkward silence for too long.
"Thank you.. For what you did earlier in the cafe." It took jurina a moment to realize what she was talking about, but she took the thanks none the less. "No problem. I was just trying to help, and it seems I was of help." The younger girl nodded, taking it as a small matter in her hands. Rena continued thinking of how she was alone with Jurina, and how thy were in the park. Out of all the people she could've chose to go to the park with her, she asked Rena. She then suddenly turned around and faced Jurina, stopping in her tracks and making the other girl stop too. "Speaking of which, why did you want to go to the park?" Jurina shrugged, not really having a reason why. "I just didn't want to go home yet." She replied. Jurina knew this was a lie. She just wanted to be with Rena for a bit more. To be able to see her, talk to her. Thirty minutes a day at the cafe was not enough.
Though Jurina had been with Rena the whole night last night, it wasn't enough for her. The events that happened, they were beyond miracles. It was like the gods had made it happen. The accidental kiss. Oh, how soft Rena's lips were against her own. How Rena had embraced her while sleeping. That was all she could think about now. It was the same with Rena, but she thought of it as her dream. She didn't know that it had happened in reality. Oh, how she wished it was a reality. The warmth that Jurina gave off when Rena embraced her. Her first kiss that was stolen accidentally in a dream. To one, it was somethig that really did happen, to the other, merely a dream, a fantasy.
They continued walking until they stopped at a bench to sit down. They were in a secluded area now. It was a place that only Jurina knew about. It was her secret place. Suddenly, Jurina felt the need to thank Rena for letting her stay over last night. She didn't want Rena to think that she was an ungrateful brat. "About last night. Thanks for letting me stay over." It took a while, but she said it. Rena didn't know what Jurina was talking about. She was shocked, looking towards Jurina with a confused face. "What do you mean?" "Remember? I followed you home, and then it started raining and you said I could stay over. You made soup, then you told me I could sleep over since the rain wasn't letting up. Then there was that accidental kiss, and we slept in the same bed, and you unknowingly hugged me from behind while sleeping." Jurina was a little hesitant to say the last few bits, but she did anyways.
Rena's mouth opened widely and she exclaimed, "Wait! That wasn't a dream?! That was real?!" Jurina just nodded in reply while Rena tried to sort out the things in her mind. She thought it was a dream, but it wasn't. Truthfully, she was happy, but she couldn't let Jurina know that, or anyone, for that matter. While thinking about it, she suddenly became angry. "So we actually had an accidental kiss?!" Jurina nodded once more, "Don't tell me that was your first kiss." "It was! You stole my first kiss! Even if it was an accident!" Jurina apologized, and after Rena had calmed down, she spoke again.
"Actually, I wanted to go the park with you because I have something to tell you."

Such a quick update! It's because I was not slacking and had ideas. ouob I meant to post this earlier, but I ended up watching dance practice videos on Youtube. OTL Anyways, enjoy chapter 7!

Finally, Rena felt that it was time to confess instead of keeping it inside her. Bottling up the feeling only made Rena frustrated with how she felt with the other girl. "How should I say this.." Rena didn't know how to start. While Rena was thinking about how to start, Jurina spoke. "I actually have something important to talk to you about too." Rena's eyes widened. "What could she probably have to tell me?" She thought. She stayed silent, waiting Jurina to continue. It took some time, but she finally spoke up, her head down.
"You see.. Um.. How should I put this. I think.. No. I am.." She suddenly looked at Rena with a look of determination on her face. "I am in love with you, Rena!" The older girl was surprised. She did not expect for the idol to have feelings for her, much less confess to her. Before Rena could say anything back, Jurina continued on. "Lately, you're all I can think about. You're the only person I want to see, the only one that I want to talk to." Rena was dying inside. The person she was starting to love, loved her back. Her body temperature rose as her heart started beating quicker. She didn't know how to respond to that, so instead, she glanced at her clock and made up an excuse.
"I'm sorry. It's getting late and I should be heading home now. Sorry about that." She stood up, bowing and then taking her leave. Jurina just sat there and watched as Rena left, heaving a sigh. Then, she suddenly shot up and went after Rena. Luckily Rena wasn't that far ahead, and Jurina quickly caught up to her. Hearing footsteps behind her, Rena turned around to see the idol. She wondered why Jurina was running after her, but shook the thought away. Jurina walked up to Rena, taking her phone out. "Wait, before you go, I want you to have my phone number. So you can contact me." Rena blinked. "Was it normal for idols to give their phone number to a waitress?" Though that thought went through her mind, she took out her phone anyways. They exchanged phone numbers and Rena went off. Jurina stood there for a while, gazing at Rena's back. After a few moments, Jurina also went on her way.
The next day at work was a lot easier. For one, Yuka took down the half off menu, saying it was a one time thing. The amount of customers returned to normal, and it was much easier to manage. Through the working that Rena was doing, she forgot all about what had happened the day before when Jurina had confessed to her. That is, until Jurina came in and all the memories flooded back to her. She stood in her place, frozen. Airi saw Rena acting weird and not moving at all, so she went over to her. "Yo, Rena. What are you doing? Get back to work." There was no reply from Rena, and so, Airi started waving her hand in front of her face, snapping a few times.
After a while, Rena snapped out of it and Airi immediately questioned her. "What's up with you? It's not like you to space out like that." Rena just shook her head, saying it was nothing, and continued working. Airi frowned at Rena, knowing something was up. Usually Rena would go right to Jurina after Jurina arrived, but she was tending to another customer instead. It was only a few minutes later that Rena finally went to get Jurina's order and place it on her table. Airi obseerved them, and there were no words exchanged between the two of them. It was weird. Usually, Jurina would be complimenting her, or try to flirt with her, and Rena would always counter with a witty comeback. But today, no words were exchanged.
Airi went over to them, her arm going around Rena's shoulders. "Why so quiet here?" She asked. The other two looked at the new arrival, then Jurina spoke up. "It's nothing. I just feel like giving Rena an easy day today." She nodded in affirmation, eating her food. "Rena, I have to talk with you." Airin faked a smile and pulled Rena away. Curious, Jurina eavesdropped on them. After dragging Rena to a table, Airi's smile went away and a stern look had appeared. "Okay, what's up with you? You've been acting weird ever since Jurina came in today." Rena was shocked tat Airi could see through her, but it didn't show on her face. "It's nothing," she sighed, continuing on, "It's just as she says. She's giving me an easy day, and I appreciate it." Airi's look did not change. "Don't lie. I've been your best friend for more than four years, I know when you're lying." Rena finally gave in, knowing that she would never be able to convince Airi.
"Fine. It's because of yesterday. When I left work, Jurina demanded that I go to the park with her, and so I did. While at the park, she confessed to me! What do I do?" Rena was stressed about her problem. Her reputation was telling her to say no, but her heart was telling her to say yes. After telling Airi the truth, there was a big smile on the shorter girl's face. "So, what did you say?" "I didn't say anything. I told her I had to leave." Airi gasped at what Rena had done. "But you like her! Why don't you just accept her confession?" "It's because I don't like her! You've got it all wrong, thinking that I have feelings for her! Didn't I tell you many times before? I hate idols, and I always will!" After her reasoning, she huffed angrily, crossing her arms over her chest. She was lying to herself, that much she knew.
After over hearing the conversation, Jurina's heart dropped. She didn't feel like eating anymore, and she felt tears start to well up in her eyes. She stood up, making Rena turn around to look at her. She faked a smile, "I'm done. I don't feel that hungry anymore." With that, she went over to the register, paying for her order and leaving. Rena didnt know what was wrong with Jurina and only assumed that she really didn't have an apetite. She stood up from her seat and went to clean the idol's table, taking away the food. Right when Jurina got out of the cafe, she immediately sprinted home, not wanting anyone to see her tears streaming down her face. When she got home, she slammed the door behind her, leaning against it and sliding down, crying into her knees.
She stayed like that for almost an hour. Even when she had already stopped crying thirty minutes ago, she still sat there, staring at nothing. A few more minutes, and then she stood up, weakly making her way to her bedroom. She didn't have the strength to take a shower or wash her face. She didn't have the strength of motivation to do anything. "Maybe I'll just call in sick for the next few days." She thought. She threw off her clothes and changed into pajamas, turning off the lights and falling onto her bed. She stared at the ceiling, not falling asleep until way later.
The next day, Jurina did not appear at the cafe, which was weird for Rena. She was used to seeing the idol everyday, and not seeing her felt weird. Somehow, Rena felt sad. She wanted to see Jurina, but she couldn't.
For the next few weeks, Jurina did not visit the cafe at all. This made Rena worried. Everyday working was no fun, because her schedule was the same now. Wake up, work, eat, sleep. No Jurina. The person that she was looking forward to everyday did not come anymore. She wanted to talk to her so bad, but she couldn't. Then her eyes widened. She had remembered that Jurina had given her phone number to her. "Maybe I'll call her tonight.."
After work had ended, Rena went right home. She changed into some comfortable clothes and sat on the couch, her phone in her hand. She dialed Jurina's number, waiting for Jurina to pick up.
As her phone was ringing, she turned to it, grabbing it and looking at the caller ID. When she saw that it was Rena, she put her phone back, turning the other way and letting it ring. She didn't want to pick up. She didn't feel like talking to Rena, after what had happened last week. If she hated idols so much, why would she even bother to call her? It made Jurina confused and frustrated. She grabbed her other pillow and covered her face with it, screaming into it in anger. She stayed there with the pillow over her face, eventually falling asleep.
Rena had given up on trying to call Jurina when the phone was not picked up twice. She sighed and leaned back on the couch, closing her eyes. Right at the moment she closed her eyes, Jurina appeared in her mind. Rena tried to shoo it away, but it stayed. Out of frustration, she opened her eyes, huffing and went into the kitchen. "Maybe some tea will help me calm down." She thought to herself. After making her tea, she poured some into a cup, taking a sip. It c almed her down a bit, but Jurina was still the only thing on her mind. Her frustration resurfaced as she chugged down her tea, going back to the living room and flopping down on the couch.
"Shouldn't I be happy that Jurina doesn't visit anymore? So why do I feel like this? Why do I feel the need to see her? Didn't I say that I hated idols?" She let out a deep sigh. She felt horrible for some reason. She hated it. "Did I do something wrong? She doesn't even pick up my calls.. I really want to talk with her.. But how can I when she doesn't even go to the cafe and doesn't even pick up my calls?" The need to talk to Jurina was getting stronger, but she wasn't able to see her or talk to her, so she did the next best thing. She sent a message.

This took a long time, but it is finally here!! This was by far the hardest chapter to write because I kept slacking off and had no ideas. TnT But! I finished, and I think it's good. And Rena is just a big tsundere who wants to keep her reputation of hating idols. Tsk tsk, Rena. Haven't you watched dramas? Hehe. Anyways, Hope you like the chapter!

Jurina did not come. Rena had waited for almost two hours now. "I guess she's not coming.." She sighed to herself, standing up and leaving the place. Today had marked one month since Jurina had not gone to the cafe. One month since Rena had not seen her. One month of thinking about her. She trudged her way home slowly, not caring if people were looking at her. When she arrived home, she did the usual, changing into comfortable clothes and flopping face down on the couch.
The next day at work was no better than the other days before. Ever since Jurina had stop coming to the cafe, Rena didn't feel like working at all. She glanced at her watch, it was around the time that Jurina would be coming. She sighed and shook the thought away. Jurina would never be coming back now. It would be stupid of her to get her hopes up. Just then, the door opened and Rena suddenly looked over, hoping for it to be Jurina. It wasn't, although the man who came through the door looked very familiar. When their eyes met, the man suddenly became annoyed, giving Rena a scowl. He pointed a finger towards Rena, angrily yelling, "You!" He stormed over to Rena, and then she remembered who he was. He was the man who got mad at her for reserving Jurina's table. Heads turned towards the two and the cafe was quiet.
He forcefully grabbed her forearm, smirking. "I'm still bitter about my last visit, so why don't you serve me first?!" Rena was unfazed, looking up at him with a dead look on her face. "Sir, I can't do that. These customers were here before you, and so will have to be served first. Now, if you will let go of me." Rena tried to pull her arm away, but she couldn't. By now, the other workers were watching and the people in the kitchen had come out to see what was going on. Everyone was there, even Yuka, standing next to Airi and watching from a close distance. "Not until you serve me first." He looked over to Jurina's table, seeing to sign on it. "Oh, and where's your little 'special customer', huh? She's not here to save you now." "Sir, as I said before, I can not do that. You will have to wait." The man started raising his voice out of anger. "I will not wait!" Rena did the same thing. "Well too bad!"
Right after she said that, the man slapped her. The people around them gasped. Her face was turned to the side as she brought her hand to her cheek, covering it. Rena was now fuming, her right hand in a fist. She turned to the man, a death glare on her face that even Airi would be scared of. She started biting her nail, giggling. "Hey.. " She started, then there was a moment of silence before she continued. "Are you mad?"
Airi covered her face, whispering, "Uh oh.. Rena has snapped." Everyone watched the waitress, wondering what she would do.
Rena swung her fist at the man, aiming for his face and hitting it directly. He fell a few feet back, and Rena continued. She walked over to him, giggling, bringing her fist back to hit him again. She tried to hit him, but she couldn't. That's when she looked back and saw Airi holding her arm back. Airi spoke to the man in a cold tone, "You better get out of here before I let her go crazy on you." Airi let go of Rena, and she was able to land a punch to his somach before he scurried away. Airi then flicked Rena's forehead, bringing her back to reality and letting her calm down.
"Thanks, Airi. If you weren't there to stop me, I don't think he'd be living." "No problem, that's what a friend is here to do." Airi smiled brightly, but Rena sighed. Wondering what was wrong, Airi asked, "Rena, you okay?" "Yeah, I'm okay. I just can't believe that I hit a person for the first time in my life." Airi's jaw dropped and she exclaimed, "How can you say that when you hit me everyday?!" Rena laughed a bit, only replying sweetly, "That's out of the love I have for you~" After a bit, Yuka came over to the both of them, her arms around their shoulders. "I think Rena should take tonight and tomorrow off. You know, get some rest." Yuka nodded at her suggestion as Rena smiled and accepted it. "Me too! Right, Yuka!? Please, please, pleeeaaasseee!! I'll keep Rena company!" Airi pleaded, her hands held together. Yuka thought for a moment, then nodded. "Sure, the both of you should have some fun tonight."
With that, the two girls high fived and went into the employee room, throwing their aprons and nametags into their lockers. The two girls excitedly exited, saying their farewells and went out of the cafe. Once they got out there, they stopped. They didn't even have anything planned yet. Before Rena could even suggest anything, Airi started dragging her somewhere.
"Let's go to the store. Get some snacks and some movies! We need to have some fun and relax!" Rena nodded, following along and grinning excitedly, "A movie night it is then!" They both skipped their way to the convenience store, humming a tune that they both knew. Once they arrived, they grabbed a basket, going to the snacks aisle and grabbing any snacks that they saw. Suddenly, Airi ran off somewhere, making Rena grab a few random snacks and run after her. Rena stopped, only to see that she had been led to the alcohol aisle. She adverted her gaze to Airi, who was now holding a small bottle of wine and a case of beer.
Rena's eyes widened, "Are you serious?" Airi nodded, pleading, "Please, Rena? Can we? We're supposed to have fun!" Rena sighed, giving in to Airi, knowing that she would not be able to stop her from buying it. "Fine. Now, let's go, since we have half the necessities."
The two girls then headed to the check out, and after paying for their things, they headed to the movie store. They looked around for a bit, not knowing what genre of movie to get. While looking around, Rena came across a movie that had Jurina starring in it. She grabbed it, looking at the cover, then turning it back and reading the summary.
After reading it, she turned it back to the front. She found herself staring at Jurina's picture, then the thoughts came flooding back. The first time she visited, how she said she was going to come everyday at the same time. How she complimented and flirted with Rena everyday, though Rena didn't quite like it. The time she followed Rena home and it started raining. The time she confessed. The time she ran out of the cafe. How she never came back.
"Rena!" Airi's voice brought Rena back to reality, and she put the movie back. Luckily Airi was looking at movies, so she didn't see what movie Rena had in her hand. "Yes, Airin?" She looked over to Airi, only to see that she had multiple movies in her arms already and was still piling it up. "Airi! Why do you have so much movies?!" Airi only shrugged, speaking in a calm voice. "There was a clearance on some movies, so why not?" Rena sighed, shaking her head. "I think that's enough for movies. Let's go."
They paid for their movies and headed back to Rena's house. Once they got to Rena's house, she opened the door and let the other girl in. Rena set the bags of snacks and movies down as Airi set the case of beer and bottle of wine in the fridge. Rena then dumped the contents of the two bags onto the table, tossing the bags away. She looked through the movies, but didn't know which one to start with.
"Airi, which movie do you want to watch first?" She continued looking through them, then she saw a familiar face. It was the movie with Jurina in it. The one that she was looking at for the entire time that they were at the movie store. "When did she grab this?" Rena thought to herself. She covered the movie with a different one, wanting to avoid any thoughts about Jurina. With no reply from Airi, Rena just chose the first one she saw, opening it and inserting it into the dvd player. When the movie started playing, she called Airi over and opened a bag of snacks for the both of them.
After it got dark, Airi went back into the fridge, bringing back the case of beer. She opened it, taking out two cans and handing one over to Rena. Seeing Airi hold out a can for her, she looked over, shaking her head. "I'm fine, but thank you." Airi just looked at Rena, still waiting for her to take the can. "Come on, Rena~ We need to relax! Besides, it's not as if we have work tomorrow either. It's a free day tomorrow for us too!" After hearing that, Rena smiled, taking the can and opening it. "You're right, I need to relax." She took a drink from the can, sighing afterwards. "Gosh, it's been a long time since I had some beer." She laughed a bit, and the two continued watching the movie and eating snacks.
A few hours later, they had finished five movies and half the case of beer, so of course, they were both drunk. The two girls were laughing, not even paying attention to the movie anymore as they ate and drank. There was a mess on the floor, with the snack bags and wrappers, along with the empty cans that were swept from the table. Now, they were on their phones, recording videos and snapping photos of each other. Then Airi decided to have some fun by interviewing Rena while recording. With her phone held up, she asked Rena, "Rena~ Let me interview you~" Rena nodded, and it began.
"So, Rena. Tell me, how has your day been?" Though the words were slurred, Rena could understand them, replying in a slightly slurred tone. "My day has been bad, but right now, it's good~" "Why was it bad?" Airi asked, giggling afterwards. "You know why it has been bad?" Rena held up her index finger. "For one, Jurina doesn't visit anymore, and two, that jerk thinks he can just hit someone. I showed him. No one can touch me." Airi nodded as if she understood, asking more questions. "That's right, you showed him. And if I wasn't there to stop you, you would've accidentally killed him. Oh~? Tell me more about this Jurina?" Rena smiled wider at Jurina's name. "Oh, Jurina? She's a customer that used to come to the cafe I work at everyday. She's an idol. Yes, the idol Jurina. She has these cat like eyes, although she acts like a puppy. She's cute and sweet and compliments me everyday. She confessed to me a month ago, but I didn't give her an answer yet. She doesn't visit anymore and doesn't reply to my texts and calls, so I can't tell her that I love her."
Airi stopped the recording, then started giggling and pointing to Rena. "See~ I knew you liked her. I can see right through you, and all this time you tried lying to me. Tsk, tsk~ No one can ever lie to Furukawa Airi!" After the dramatic monologue, Airi finished the rest of her can and opened another one. She took a drink, then set it down on the table a bit harshly, picking up her phone. "For some reason, hearing you talk that way about Jurina makes me miss Akane~ I should give her a call~" She called her girlfriend, waiting for the call to be picked up. After a few rings, Akane picked up, answering with a sleepy voice.
"Hello? Airin, what is it?"
"Churi~ I just suddenly missed you~"
"You could've just left a message or something. Mou, I was sleeping, you know, and why do you sound like you're drunk? Are you at the bar?"
"I'm at Rena-chan's house~ Yuka-senpai gave us days off~ Come and see me, Churi~"
"Oh, I'm coming over, all right. I know how crazy you can get when drunk, and I'm coming over to ensure that nothing bad happens. I'm hanging up, expect me over there in a bit."
"Okay~ See you later~"
After hanging up, Airi took another drink and opened another bag of snacks. While she was eating, Rena called Jurina. The phone rang for a few times, but it wasn't picked up. Another call, down the drain. She tried again, and this time, Jurina picked up.
"What is it?" Her voice was not the usual warm and happy voice she used. Instead, it sounded like it had no feelings in it.
"Jurina~ Why don't you ever pick up my calls or visit the cafe anymore~?"
"Because I'm busy. And are you drunk?" Jurina knew that it was a lie. She wasn't busy. She had taken off work for a few months, so she was very much free. Of course she knew Rena was drunk, because Rena would never talk like that if she was sober.
"Eh? Busy with what? And no~ I'm not drunk. You know, that man slapped me today. But I punched him two times. I wanted to beat him up, but Airi didn't let me~"
"He what? You what? And don't lie. You're drunk. Are you at home? I'll come over."
"Didn't you hear me? I said he slapped be and I punched him~ You're coming over? Yay~ I'll get to see you~ I have something to tell you~"
As soon as Jurina hung up on Rena, there was a frown on Rena's face. "I wanted to talk to her longer.." She shook her head, gulping down the last remains of her can and opening a new one.
An hour later, there was a knock on the door.

Chapter 9 is finally here!! I finished this at like, 3am, but I was too tired to post it. So have fun reading it!

The knock on the door had surprised the two girls, and they turned their head to the door. Scared and excited at the same time, the two girls got up. They clumsily made their way to the door, falling down a couple of times one the way. Rena fell down once more and decided to stay down as Airi reached the door, opening it. The door opened to reveal a somewhat angry girlfriend, and that was none other that Akane. Airi smiled like an idiot at the sight of her and greeted her.
"Hi, Akane~" She let out a giggle, opening the door wider so Akane could come in. As soon as Akane entered the house, Airi closed the door, locking it and attempting to hug Akane. Her actions only resulted in Akane pushing her away and taking off her shoes. She dragged Airi to the living room, spotting Rena, who was lying on the floor, on the way there. After setting Airi down on one of the couches, she went back over to Rena, helping her up and taking her to the other couch. She set her down on it and went to sit next to Airi. She sighed, rubbing her temples, and then began to speak.
"You two are really helpless. Don't you know how you two can get when drunk? What if something happened?"
Airi and Rena both turned their heads to Akane, trying to listen but getting nothing. Rena was the first to reply to her girlfriend. "Nothing will happen~ You're just worrying too much~" She then giggled, causing Airi to giggle, and Akane to sigh once again. She muttered under her breath, "What am I going to do with the two of you?" "Rena's right, you know~" Airin stated, "You're just too worried~" She leaned against Akane, wrapping her arms around her waist. Akane didn't resist and let her drunk girlfriend do what she want. Airi then tried to kiss Akane, but she was stopped. "You are not kissing me with that mouth." Then, there was a knock on the door. Akane wondered who it could be, until she heard Rena speak.
"It must be Jurina~ It has to be~" Rena started to get up, wanting to open the door, but Akane stopped her. "No, you are staying here. I'll go open the door." With that, she walked to the door opening it. Seeing the person who was at the door, she gasped. Jurina was also quite shocked, gasping too. She was sure she had the right house, she even checked the name plaque, but to be sure, she asked. "This is Matsui Rena's house, right?" Her question was only answered by Akane letting out a quiet squeal. "It's Matsui Jurina! What are you doing here?! And yes! This is Rena's house. Do you have business here?" After hearing the answer to her question, she nodded. "Ah, I thought so. Yes, I do have business here. I have to watch over a drunk Rena."
Hearing that, Akane opened the door wider so the idol could get in. "By all means, come in." Jurina entered the house as Akane closed it and locked it. She took off her shoes and went into the living room, spotting the two drunk girls. As soon as she entered the living room, Rena called for her. "Jurina~ You really came~ I didn't think you would~" Jurina turned her head towards Rena after hearing her name. "Of course I did. Why would you get drunk, anyways?" Jurina went over to Rena, sitting on the other side of the couch. Since Jurina had not seen Rena for so long, it felt weird to see her, and it would feel even weirder to sit close to her, so she kept her distance.
"Mou, Jurina~ Why are you sitting so far away~? Come sit next to me~" Rena was motioning for her to go closer and patting the spot next to her, but Jurina ignored her. Rena noticed something was wrong, and moved closer, asking, "Jurina? Is something wrong?" Though she tried to sound caring, it came out nothing like that. Being drunk made her sound like she was being nosy and meddling into others' problems. Jurina looked at her, being so close to her, she couldn't speak. She just shook her head, saying quietly, "It's nothing." Rena then stood up, staggering a bit, and took Jurina's hand. The idol was shocked at what happened, and she was taken by surprise. Rena started to drag Jurina to her room, stumbling a bit. This caused Jurina to put Rena's arm around her, and by supporting Rena, the two of them continued walking to Rena's bedroom.
"Ah, Jurina-san! Make sure nothing happens to Rena, got it? Or else." At her last sentence, Akane gave Jurina a glare before smiling and shooing them off to Rena's room. Jurina flinched, nodding in reply, and continuing on. Akane kept her gaze on Jurina and Rena until they disappeared into the hallway. She then turned her head to look straight ahead, thinking about why an idol would come into a normal person's house. She was then taken out of her thoughts by Airi.
"Nee, Akane~ Watch this~" Airi held up her phone with a video of Rena's confession on it. Akane took it and played the video, watching Rena's drunk confession about Jurina. After she finished the video, she was shocked. "What's going on between the two? Are they dating?" Airi shook her head, "Nope~ A month ago, Jurina confessed to Rena, but she didn't know what to say. And as you know Rena is a big tsundere, so of course she likes Jurina, but she won't say it. Jurina doesn't visit anymore, so Rena hasn't been able to give her an answer. They both love each other, but only Jurina doesn't know it, since Rena hasn't said anything to Jurina." Airi nodded in the accomplishment of telling the story between the two.
Once they reached Rena's room, Jurina set her down on the bed, and turned around to leave. Before she could leave, she was stopped by Rena grabbing her wrist.
"Don't go." Rena whispered. Jurina stayed how she was, not turning around. She let Rena pull her towards the bed and sat on it, her back toward Rena. With her hand still around Jurina's wrist, she continued speaking. "Why don't you come to the cafe anymore?" She stroked Jurina's arm with her thumb, waiting for an answer. Jurina sighed, "It's because I'm busy."
Rena knew that Jurina was lying. She watched for Jurina on the tv and looked for magazines with her, but the idol never appeared. "No you're not. I haven't seen you appearing on tv or in magazines. Why? Why don't you ever come anymore?" Jurina was shocked. Shocked at the fact that Rena was looking for her on the tv and in magazines for the past month. "Why are you so persistent in knowing why I don't go?" Rena sat up, moving closer to Jurina and wrapping her arms around the idol's waist.
"This feeling.." Jurina thought to herself, "This warmth.." Jurina was taken out from her thoughts by Rena, who answered her question. "It's because I miss you. I want to know so bad, because I can't go anymore days without seeing you. It hurts when you don't see the person you love for a month." Jurina only replied in a cold tone. "Well, it also hurts when the one you love indirectly says that they hate you." The idol tried getting up from the bed, but the older girl held onto her tightly. "Please, Rena. Let me go.." Jurina took a hold of Rena's arms, trying to remove them, but Rena only tightened her hold. "No.. I'm not going to let the one I love slip away from me. Not again."
Rena rested her head against Jurina's back, taking a deep breath. "Please.. Stay with me. Don't leave me." The idol was surprised. Rena had liked her back the same way. She had cared for her all this time, but why didn't she say anything? Jurina sighed, "Fine, I'll stay, but you need to lay down. I'll be back. I'm going to go grab you a bottle of water. And bring pillows and blankets for the two in the living room." With that, Jurina stood up from the bed, walking into the closet and grabbing two pillows and two blankets. She exited the room and made her way to the living room. Arriving there, she found that the two girls were already asleep. She moved the table to make a clearing and pushed the other couch towards the one that they were on, creating a makeshift bed. Setting the pillows down, she moved them carefully to lay down, and then covered them with the blanket.
After tucking in the two lovebirds, she headed towards the kitchen and opened the fridge, grabbing a water bottle. She turned off the lights in the kitchen and living room, then made her way back to Rena's room. Upon arriving, she found that Rena was already asleep. She set the water bottle on the night stand and was about to go grab a pillow and blanket, but was stopped by Rena once again. Patting the spot next to her, Rena spoke with a sleepy voice. "Sleep next to me, Jurina~" Jurina blinked, then shook her head. "Ah, no. I'm fine. I can sleep on the floor." "But didn't you say that you can't sleep without a teddy bear? Come on, I'll be you teddy bear.." Jurina cursed herself for not remembering that and ended up getting into the bed with Rena after she turned off the light.
Suddenly, Rena wrapped her arms around Jurina's waist once more, pulling her closer. Jurina did the same as she was pulled closer to the other girl, resting her head on Rena's chest. There was a familiar warmth radiating from Rena, and a sweet scent of citrus, mixed with a bit of alcohol, but Jurina didn't pay any mind to the alcohol. Rena quickly fell asleep, and with a slight smile, Jurina began to doze off.
She just wanted time to stop forever. She wanted to be in Rena's embrace for eternity, to feel the closeness and warmth.

Hello hello~ I finished this in the early morning, but was too lazy to post it. Instead, I worked on chapter 11 and on chapter 1 of a SayaMilky AU. But anyways, have fun reading~

Feeling a pair of arms around her waist and warmth radiating onto her back, Rena's eyes fluttered open. She rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn, turning around to face Jurina. She knew she was drunk last night, but luckily, she was sober enough to remember some of what had happened last night. Though she did not remember inviting Jurina over, or anything to do with Jurina, for that matter. She smiled while gazing at Jurina, poking the younger's cheek.
"Good morning." She said quietly. Jurina then smiled slightly, her eyes slowly opening as she yawned and greeted Rena back sleepily. "Good morning to you too, Rena-chan~" Jurina woke up to see a serious Rena. "What are you doing in my bed and in my house?" Jurina was confused as to why Rena would ask that, but then she remembered that Rena was drunk, so of course she wouldn't remember. "Uh.. You called me, remember?" Rena's face then changed into a confused one, asking, "Eh? I did? I don't remember."
Suddenly, Rena was hit with a bad headache, bringing her hand up to rub her forehead and groaning a bit. Jurina was taken by surprise and was a bit worried. "Rena? Are you alright?" Rena nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a hangover." Hearing the reason for it, Jurina sat up, grabbing the water bottle on the nightstand and giving it to Rena. "Here. Drink some water, it'll help you." Rena sat up, taking the water bottle and opening it, gulping it down. She then closed the water bottle and handed it back to Jurina. This was the first time that Rena was experiencing Jurina being so nice and caring towards her. The idol was about to get up from the bed, but was stopped by a certain waitress clinging onto her arm.
Rena then muttered something out. ".. bit more." That had made Jurina reply in a teasing tone, smirking. "Hm? What did you say?" This time, Rena spoke more clearly with a small pout on her face. "Stay with me for a little bit more." Who was Jurina to refuse this offer? She smiled, shifting into a comfortable position and letting Rena's head rest on her shoulder. They sat in silence, enjoying their time together. Not long after, there was a knock on the door and a voice to acompany it. "Rena, Jurina-san. Are you guys awake? I made pancakes, so you guys should wake up and come eat before Airi and I eat it all." After hearing the word 'pancake', Rena perked up, answering Akane. "Yeah, we're awake. We'll be out in a bit."
Having her question answered, Akane left the door and went back into the kitchen. Hearing the footsteps fade, Rena tossed the blanket off of her, looking over to Jurina, who seemed to be dozing off. She crawled on top of the idol, sitting on her lap and poking her cheeks. "Jurina~ Wake up or else they're going to eat all of the pancakes~" There was no reaction from Jurina. Rena then thought of the next thing that she could do. She leaned in, planting a kiss onto Jurina's lips. Feeling a pair of lips against her own, Jurina's eyes fluttered open from her short nap, a blush across her face. After a while, Rena reluctantly pulled away, blushing lightly and saying, "Now that you're awake, shall we go?" Jurina nodded, "But I can't go if you're still sitting on me." "Ah, right.." Rena got off of Jurina, standing next to the bed and waiting for the idol to get up.
A few seconds passed, and Jurina had still not gotten up from the bed. Slightly angry, Rena went and grabbed Jurina's arm, trying to pull her out of her bed, but Jurina had grabbed onto the older girl's arm and pulled her close and quickly kissed her, then let her go. Rena fell onto the bed, sitting on the edge while trying to process what had just happened. The idol then stood up from the bed and stretched, not noticing the dazed girl that was still sitting. She turned around and looked at her, taking a hold of the other's hand and pulling her up. "Come on, Rena~ If we wait any longer, the pancakes will be gone!"
Smirking, Jurina pulled Rena up, dragging her out and into the kitchen, where Airi and Akane were sitting at the dining table. Jurina cheerfully greeted the two, "Good morning, Akane and Airi~" The two turned their heads to see Jurina, and Rena being dragged by her. "Ah, good morning." Airi replied. Akane gave Jurina a weird look, hesitantly greeting her back. ".. Good morning? Anyways, what happened with Rena? Why are you dragging her around?" "Oh, that. It's cause she wouldn't get out of bed. Rena-chan is so lazy." Jurina then let go of Rena's hand and Rena just stood there. "Ah, I see. Well, sit. I'll grab you two some pancakes."
Listening to Akane, Jurina went ahead and took a seat across from Airi. "Oh yeah, Airi. Do you have a hangover?" Airi shook her head a bit. "I have a slight headache and I get dizzy whenever I move, but that's about it. I'm pretty strong with alcohol." She nodded as she ended her statement, her chest puffed out a bit in pride. "I see." Jurina nodded, somewhat impressed. Airi then inquired about Rena, learning that she also had a headache, but her's was a bit worse then Airi's. "Ah, I see. Rena wasn't really a person who could handle much alcohol." Airi then turned to look at Rena.
Even after Jurina had sat down, Rena was still standing in the same spot that she was left in. Noticing that, Airi attempted to bring her back to reality. "Earth to Rena, why are you still standing next to the table but not sitting?" No reply. Airi's attempt had failed. Jurina looked over, sighing and stood up, walking over to Rena. She stood in front of the older girl and leaned in, whispering something in her ear. Rena snapped back to reality and Jurina went back to sit down, Rena following after with a blush on her face. Airi had just stared in awe, wondering what the idol said that brought Rena back. "Whoa, what did you say to get her out of her daze?" Jurina just shrugged, "I just said her name." Airi smiled, clapping, "Wow. Even if I had said her name, she would still be in her daze."
Jurina was lucky that Airi was fast to believe the reasoning. Of course she had whispered more than just the girl's name, but she couldn't let that be found out. A few minutes after what had just happened, Akane came back with two plates of pancakes with syrup over it. She set them each in front of Jurina and Rena, going back to grab forks and knives. When she came back, she gave Jurina the eating utensils. Jurina took a set for herself and set the other next to Rena's plate.
Even after being handed the utensils, Rena was just staring at her plate. Once again, noticing this, Airi left it to Jurina to deal with. She nudged Jurina under the table, making the idol look up from eating, then eyed Rena. The idol's eyes traveled to the dazed girl, leaning in and whispering something in her ear again. Just like before, Rena snapped back to reality, and started to eat.
"So, anyways," Akane started, not wanting the setting to be dressed in an awkward silence. "SInce you two have a free day today, what shall we do? And Jurina-san, what about you? Are you free today?" Jurina nodded, leaving the other two to think. Personally, Airi would've rathered not to think, but this was quite hard. To think of an activity that the four of them would like. She didn't know about the others, but she would prefer to stay inside today. After staying quiet ever since Jurina kissed her, Rena finally spoke up. "I want to stay inside and eat food made by Akane and watch movies." Airi smiled slightly, raising her hand. "I second that."
Akane looked over to Jurina, waiting for her outlook on the suggestion. "I'm down for whatever you guys decide on." After giving her opinion on the matter, she continued eating, finishing her last bite. "I guess we're staying in today then. You guys shouldn't have drank so much. We could've gone to the amusement park and called it a date. But it's alright." As she finished talking, Rena put the last piece of her pancake in her mouth. Seeing that, Jurina stood up, taking both their plates and setting it into the sink. "Ah, thank you." Rena muttered out.
It was noon, and the girls had already moved from the kitchen and into the living room, settling down on the couches. Akane and Airi on one, while the other was occupied by Jurina and Rena. They had put in one of the many movies that Airi had chosen yesterday. Though they had put on a movie, none of them were really watching. Instead, they were talking with each other about the many things that could be discussed about. Akane and Airi were holding hands, acting lovey dovey towards each other and exchanging kisses every once in a while. The couple had forgotten that they were in someone else's home and hadn't noticed the two girls in front of them with somewhat disgusted faces.
Tired of watching the lovebirds, Rena stood up, followed by Jurina. This attracted the attention of Akane and Airi, so Rena voiced out her reason before any of them could throw questions at her. "I'm a little tired, so I'm going to go take a nap." "Same here." With that, the two walked away and into Rena's room.
Jurina and Rena both knew that the both of them were telling lies. They had made an excuse just to get away from seeing the two lovebirds' public display of affection towards each other. Once they had entered the hallway and were sure that they were out of Airi and Akane's sight, Rena turned around, taking Jurina's wrist and pulling her into the bedroom. She closed the door behind them and locked it, an unseen smile on her face. Jurina walked over to the bed, flopping down on it and staring at the ceiling, but the ceiling was soon replaced by Rena's face, as she had climbed on top of Jurina and straddled her.
Rena continued staring at Jurina, and that made Jurina feel somewhat uncomfortable. She raised a brow, not sure why Rena was still staring at her. "What?" Rena pouted a bit, answering the younger one's question. "I want my kisses." Jurina blinked, not sure what she was talking about, then it hit her. This morning when she had whispered a little something to bring Rena back to reality, twice.
-FLASHBACK-
Jurina stood up from her seat, walking over and stopping in front of Rena. She then leaned in and whispered in the older girl's ear.
"I'll give you kisses later if you come and sit down."

Being nudged by Airi, she looked up at the girl, who was motioning her eyes towards Rena. Jurina turned around and leaned in, whispering a phrase that instantly brought the girl back.
"If you don't eat your breakfast, I won't give you any kisses."
-FLASHBACK END-
Though Jurina had remembered exactly what Rena was talking about, she decided to tease the other girl. "What? Kisses?" Rena puffed out her cheeks and crossed her arms across her chest, whining. "You said you would give me kisses this morning~!" "No? I don't remember telling you anything about kisses." This only caused Rena to act more like a child, huffing and turning her head away. "Fine then." She got up and off of Jurina, walking towards the door. Feeling panicked, Jurina got off of the bed and followed Rena, stopping her before she could open the door. Taking Rena by the shoulder, Jurina turned her around and quickly pecked her lips, smirking afterwards.
"There's your kiss, happy now?" Jurina turned around, going back to lay on the bed.
Rena smiled slightly, a light blush across her face as she followed Jurina and laid down next to her. "But you said kisses. It was plural. Yet you only gave me one kiss."
"How complicated can this girl get?" Jurina thought to herself. She sighed internally, turning to face Rena, and with her hands on the other's shoulders, she leaned in, kissing her forcefully. The idol teasingly bit and tugged on Rena's lower lip, then pulled away. She had left Rena in a daze yet again. Smirking at what she had done, she turned around, her back facing Rena. Although acting like it wasn't a big deal, it was a big deal to Jurina. She did not expect for the waitress to be this good a kissing; so good that it left a tingling sensation on her lips.
As for Rena, this was the third time that she was left in a daze. All because of one person and something that they had done. She brought her hand up, her fingers brushing over her lips. They were burning. She wanted more, but she didn't want to bother Jurina.
Blushing madly, she bit her lip and wrapped her arms around Jurina's waist. Soon after, the two of them finally drift off into the nap that they left the living room for.

Chapters are getting harder to write, mostly because I can't put my ideas into words that well. OTL But it always turns out good, so that's that. Anyways, have fun reading.

By the time the two woke up, it was already evening. They exited the room and went into the living room, seeing the lovebirds still sitting like before, but asleep. Rena took the blanket and covered them with it, then dragged Jurina back into the room.
"We should let them sleep for now. For the meantime, let's just stay in my room."
Once they reached Rena's room, she let go of Jurina's arm, closing the door and locking it again. Jurina, having nothing to do, went back onto the bed and laid on it. Turning around and seeing her, Rena tsked. "You just spent five hours napping on that bed, and you're not tired of it?" The idol shook her head, "Nope, not one bit. It's because Rena-chan's bed is so comfortable." Jurina let out a giggle, rolling around on the bed. Rena just rolled her eyes, going over to the bed.
"Move over, Jurina." She pushed Jurina aside so she could have room to lay down, even though there was plenty of room for the both of them, being that it was a queen sized bed. They laid down, facing each other. Then, Rena leaned in, wanting a kiss, only to be stopped by Jurina's hand on her face. "No more kisses for you." With Jurina's hand on her face and the palm right over her lips, Rena playfully stuck out her tongue a bit and licked Jurina's palm. Feeling the sudden contact, Jurina pulled her hand away quickly, turning to face the wall with her back towards Rena. Smirking, the older girl moved closer to the other, wrapping her arms around the younger's body.
"Oh, come on. You couldn't have become that flustered by one little lick, could you?" She leaned in, nipping on the idol's earlobe, earning a gasp. Jurina was very flustered now, turning around and pushing Rena's face back a bit. "If I kiss you will, you stop embarrassing me?" Rena moved back a bit, removing her arms and bringing her finger up to her chin in a thinking pose. "Mm.. Maybe it would. Would you like to give it a try?" She smirked at the younger girl, waiting for what she would do. Jurina suddenly leaned in quickly pecking the other's lips. Pulling back, Jurina covered her face to avoid being seen blushing. Rena only giggled at Jurina, reaching for her hands and taking them off her face.
"Don't cover your face. You look cute when you blush." Rena smiled softly at Jurina, intertwining her fingers witthe idol's. Just then, there was a knock on the door, followed by Akane's voice. "Are you guys awake? We're going to go buy groceries for tonight. We're barbequing." Jurina quickly stood up and jumped off the bed, letting go of Rena's hand and replying to Akane. "Yes, we're up!" She walked over to the door, looking back at Rena. "Aren't you coming?" Smiling, Rena got off the bed and followed Jurina. "Let's go."
After a long walk that consisted of teasing Rena about Jurina, they finally reached the convenience store. They entered and everyone went their own way. Akane went to pick up the important stuff; the meat and the vegetables. Airi and Rena went into the snack aisle, and as for Jurina, she was just wandering around with her hoodie up, trying not to get caught. Coincidentally, she walked past the snack aisle, spotting Rena and Airin discussing something. Curious, she entered the next aisle, listening closely to their conversation.
"So.. What's up with you and Jurina?"
"Nothing. Why do you ask?"
"You two seem too close for it to be nothing. Do you finally realize your feelings for her? Do you like her?"
"I swear it's nothing! And no! I don't like her, and I don't even have any feelings for her!"
"Or is it love?"
"I don't love her, and I never will."
This was the second time the same girl had crushed Jurina's heart. She didn't have the heart to do anything anymore, seeing as the girl she loved took all of it and crushed it, throwing it away. She put on a fake smile, going to find Akane. She didn't want to talk to or see Rena ever again. She was too hurt. After a while of walking around, she found Akane in the vegetables section. "Ah, there you are, Akane." Akane looked up at the idol, wondering what she wanted. "Hm? What do you want?" "Actually, I couldn't find the others, so I thought I should just tell you. My manager suddenly called me and said that she has something to discuss with me, so I have to go. Sorry I won't be able to stay for the barbeque."
Akane just smiled at her. "Don't worry about it. If it's your work, you can go." "Thank you, and can you tell the others?" Akane nodded, and Jurina left. The idol exited the store and headed to the park, not wanting to go home yet. She walked on the trail, turning onto an unseen trail and entering her secret place. She sat down on the bench and stared off into the distance, trying to forget what had just happened. But of course, it did not work. Rena's words echoed in her head.
"I don't love her, and I never will."
"If you really didn't love me... Then what were all those kisses about? The cuddles? What am I to you?" Frustrated, she picked up a rock and threw it, watching it fly as far as it could. She wanted to disappear forever. To be wiped off the face of the earth, just so she wouldn't have to see Rena again. This was all so confusing for Jurina, and it was making her head hurt. One minute, Rena was acting like she loved her, but then the next, she acted like Jurina was her worst enemy.

After picking up everything that she needed, Akane went to go find Airi and Rena. Once she found them, they proceeded to the check out, but Rena noticed something was wrong.
"Hey, where's Jurina?" Rena asked concernedly, looking around for the said girl, but she was nowhere to be found. "Oh yeah, she told me that her manager had suddenly called her and she left." Rena looked down, a bit sad, but she slapped on a smile. She was not going to let the other two know that this bothered her. Paying for the things, they exited the store, walking back home. Once they reached Rena's home, they entered and went straight to the kitchen, preparing the food to be grilled. Rena took out the grill and went outside, getting it ready.
A while passed, and they had already started grilling and eating. Somehow, watching Airi and Akane being all lovey dovey to each other made Rena feel empty inside. She ended up eating and touching her phone, trying to block out anything that had to do with the other two. She looked through her blogs and social media accounts, but ended up in her message inbox. She looked at the message that she had sent to Jurina a while back. The one that wasn't even replied to. She wished Jurina didn't leave, but it was for work. What could she do about it?
"I'm going to go use the bathroom, so I'll be back in a bit." Rena stood up, leaving Akane and Airin alone outside. In truth, Rena didn't really need to use the bathroom, but she had to make up an excuse to leave and be alone. As soon as the two made sure Rena was inside and couldn't hear them, Airi spoke up.
"Something's definitely up with her." She nodded as she ended her sentence, looking over to her girlfriend. "What do you think, Churi?" Akane shrugged, "She probably just misses Jurina." Sighing, Airi replied to her. "That's probably right. She's so stubborn, trying to keep up that 'I hate idols' reputation of hers. She should just tell Jurina that she loves her already!" Airi huffed angrily after finishing what she was saying, crossing her arms. Akane only giggled at her girlfriend's response. "Well, you can't blame her. She is a tsundere, after all."
Just as they finished talking about Rena, she came back out of the house, taking a seat in her chair. There was a silence for a moment, and feeling eyes on her, Rena looked up at the two. "What?" Giving them a weird look, she slowly turned her gaze back to her phone. She made up her mind and decided to send a message to Jurina.
[text] Jurina~ Work hard~!
Jurina suddenly felt a vibration in her pocket, and honestly, she was a bit scared by it. She took out her phone and opened the message. She read over it and glared at the message. She ignored it, deleting it and putting her phone in her pocket. She held back tears that would come out any minute.
"I hate that I love you."

"I swear it's nothing! And no! I don't like her, and I don't even have any feelings for her!"
"Or is it love?"
"I don't love her, and I never will."

The next day, Jurina went to the cafe for the first time in a long while. She had decided that she would not act like a child and face her problems with maturity. She took her seat at her usual table, ordering her usual. Though she had told herself she would act like how she did before anything had happened, she did not follow what she said at all. Instead, she had stayed quiet throughout the whole time that she was there. Rena thought it was weird, seeing that Jurina was not talking and she seemed to not smile at all. Worried, she went over, sitting across from Jurina. As Rena sat down, Jurina moved her gaze from her cake to Rena.
"Are you okay, Jurina?"
Jurina did not want to talk to her at all. She was holding back all her urges to just slap Rena across the face, but she remembered about her plan. Her plan to act normal. The corners of Jurina's lips curved into a small smile, nodding her head as she sowly moved her gaze back down onto her cake. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Though the idol had said that, Rena knew that she wasn't okay. She could see it in her smile. It wasn't the same one that Jurina always had on. Rena could see that Jurina's smile had a tinge of sadness hidden in it, and her eyes were glistening from the tears threatening to escape. Jurina was not okay, and Rena wasn't just going to leave her alone. Rena reached over, placing her hand over Jurina's, speaking with a soft voice.
"Jurina, I know you're not okay. What's wrong?"
Feeling the sudden contact, Jurina flinched a bit, the slowly retracted her hand from under the older girl's. Her hand had this tingling sensation now, and it was driving her crazy. She wanted Rena's touch, to hold her hand forever, but then she remembered that Rena didn't love her. It would be pointless. Jurina tried her hardest to hold back everything that she had wanted to say.
"I told you, didn't I? I'm alright."
Rena felt a pang of sadness as Jurina took her hand away. She wanted to hold Jurina's hand, but it seemed as if the idol didn't want to. As she listened to the other girl, she could hear her voice about to crack. She wanted Jurina to tell her what was wrong, but Jurina kept insisting that she was fine. She would not just leave it like that when she knew damn sure that Jurina was not fine.
"No, you're not. Tell me what's wrong. Please?"
Jurina sighed, "I told you. I'm fine, nothing's wrong with me." She gave Rena a sad smile, then proceeded to stand up, throwing down a few bills onto the table. "I'm not hungry, I'm going to go." She turned around, walking towards the door, and exited the cafe. Rena was debating on whether to leave her alone or follow her, and in the end, she had decided to go after Jurina. Though, before she went, she took off her apron, tossing it to Airi and telling her, "Airi, can you take care of those, and tell Yuka I had something to do. Thank you! I'll owe you by taking you out for food!"
She didn't wait for Airi's reply as she quickly walked out of the door and looked on either sides, trying to find Jurina. Once she spotted her crossing the street, she ran after her, trying to catch up. Despite being bad at athletics, she still ran after her. It seemed as if she would never catch up to Jurina, but that was also due to the fact that the idol was also running away, not knowing that Rena was following her.
After the run, Jurina ended up at her secret place, plopping down on the benchand breathing heavily. Now, she could cry. She could let out all her feelings. Her breathing started to become more ragged, a few tears streaming down her face. Then, she felt a presence and a voice.
"I.. I found you." Rena said out, panting and breathing heavily.
Hearing her voice, Jurina quickly wiped the tears from her face, and hoped that her eyes showed no sign that she was just crying a few seconds ago. Clearing her throat, she spoke up, turning her head to face Rena.
"What are you doing here?"
Rena walked over to Jurina, sitting besides her and staring off into the distance. After waiting a while to get her breathing back on track, she replied to the idol. "You still haven't answered my question."
"I did. Nothing's wrong with me."
The older girl looked over to Jurina, gazing into her eyes. Jurina's eyes were puffy, and was a light shade of pink. Raising one brow, Rena scoffed. "Nothing is always something. And it had to be something if it made you run out of the cafe to here and start crying. Yes, I can see. You're eyes are puffy and a bit pink. So tell me, what's bothering you?"
"Nothing. The reason why I was crying is because I was running too fast and I tripped."
The reply only brought out another scoff from Rena. "Please, you don't even have any injuries. If you did trip, you would at least have a scraped knee. Just hurry up and tell me what's wrong already."
This annoyed Jurina, as Jurina did not want to talk to Rena at all, but due to her plan, she had to act normal. She tried to be calm, but it bothered her too much, and she finally snapped. She moved in her seat, turning to face Rena with her whole body.
"Fine! You want to know what's wrong with me?! I'm hurt, okay! My heart hurts!" Rena was speechless. How was Jurina this hurt, and Rena didn't notice? With no reply from Rena, Jurina continued. "You act like you love me, but you go around saying you don't! You raise my hopes up just to crush down to the ground again! You think I didn't know?! I overheard you with Airi. Two times! She asked you if you liked me, and both times, you said no. The second time, at the store. She asked you if you loved me, and you said no! And you also said you never would love me! If you didn't love me, what were all those kisses and hugs about, huh?"
Tears were now streaming down Jurina's face, her cheeks red from all the anger she was holding inside. How could Rena not notice it at all? She didn't know what to say. She had made Jurina hurt like this many times, yet she didn't even know. Not knowing what to do, she pulled Jurina in for a hug, letting the idol cry onto her shoulder. Jurina did not resist, and hugged back, letting all her sadness and hurt out. While Jurina was crying into her shoulder, Rena finally spoke up.
"I'm sorry. It's just that I'm not really good with putting my feelings into words. I actually love you too. I wonder why it took me so long to realize that I did. I didn't realize it then, but I think I fell in love with you ever since the first time that we met. Even though I acted like I hated you, deep down, I think I really loved you. I love you, Jurina, and if you'd be willing to give me another chance, I can make things better. So.. What do you say?" After finishing, Rena bit her lip, anticipating Jurina's answer.
Jurina, who had run out of tears to cry, let go of Rena's hug, wiped her eyes, and nodded with a small smile on her face. Rena's eyes lightened at the nod, her mouth in an o-shape then shaping into a grin.
"Then.. Does that mean you'll give me another chance?" Jurina nodded once more, "But this'll be your last chance, you know." She stopped to chuckle dryly, then continued on. "If you mess it up again, I'll have to punish you."
Rena's head tilted to the side, not sure of what the younger girl meant. "Punish? What could you possibly do?" Jurina's face suddenly turned into a serious one as she blinked once at the older girl. In a serious tone, she answered Rena.
"Oh, trust me. You wouldn't want to know. Just hope that you don't break my heart again."
Rena gave Jurina a smile, pulling the idol closer to her to close the gap between them. "Don't worry, I won't. But I can't believe you were sad all this time and I didn't even know."
The corners of Jurina's lips curved into a smirk, crossing her arms. "Did you forget I was an idol? I get acting roles, so of course I'd be good at acting." "Oh yeah. How could I forget that my girlfriend is an idol? But I guess it's because I feel comfortable around you as a person." Rena nodded, her eyes closed.
"Wow, how could you for― Wait! Girlfriend? Does this mean we're dating now?"
Jurina looked up at Rena, her eyes anxious as she bit her lip, waiting for an answer of some sort. Rena looked down, shocked by the distance between the two. She started blushing and getting all flustered, turning her head away from Jurina.
"Y-yeah. We're dating now."
Jurina broke into a grin, uncrossing her arms and clinging onto the older girl.
"You're so cute when you're shy~!"

Yay!! Chapter 13, finished! Since I started school, updates will be delayed a bit, due to the immense homework that I will be receiving from my IB and AP classes. But anyways, hope you like this chapter!!

The next day at work, Airi witnessed that Rena had glanced at her watch for the nth time, and honestly, Airi was starting to feel annoyed by it. Though she couldn't shake off the happiness she felt for her friend, as she had finally confessed her true feelings to the idol. She couldn't help but smile at the fact that Rena had finally found someone to make her happy. She went over to Rena, tapping her on the shoulder and faking an annoyed look. After Rena turned around, she spoke.
"You've taken more than three million glances at your watch for the past four hours now, get to work." Airi tried speaking in her best annoyed voice, trying to stop herself from laughing out loud.
Rena bowed a bit in an act of apologizing, "Ah, sorry about that. I'll work now."
"Whoa, Rena." Airi laughed at the girl, "I was just kidding. So, tell me all about it later, will ya?"
Airi didn't give Rena time to reply as she patted the taller on her shoulders and went back to work. After Airi went back, Rena smiled. She still couldn't believe that she and Jurina were actually dating, even though she was the one who had asked. She took a quick glance at her watch once more before she went back to work, tending to a customer near by.
Everytime the door chime sounded, Rena would turn to see who it was, but it was never Jurina, so she stopped. After a while, Jurina came through the door, but Rena did not look over. Instead, Airi looked over and Jurina motioned her to be quiet. Jurina was walking closer and closer to Rena, who luckily had her back towards Jurina. When she had arrived behind Rena, she snaked her arms around the older's waist, hugging her closely. In shock, Rena gasped and looked back. Noticing that it was Jurina, Rena let out a relieved sigh and held onto Jurina's arms.
"Jurina~ You shouldn't scare others like that. Especially if they're your girlfriend." Rena faked a pout, turning around to face Jurina. The idol simply brought one hand up, pinching Rena on the cheek and laughing. "But you're really cute when you're scared, and even now, you're really cute when you're pouting." Jurina let out a small chuckle, letting go of Rena as she went to sit in her booth. Rena went to get Jurina's order, and after a few minutes, she came back and set it on Jurina's table. She took a seat across from Jurina and watched as the idol ate.
Feeling a pair of eyes on her, Jurina looked up, her own eyes meeting with Rena's. She waited until she finished the food in her mouth before she spoke up, laughing a bit.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"
Rena sighed contentedly, "It's just that... You're so beautiful." Rena reached her hand over, pinching the idol's cheek and pulling it gently. Jurina flinched a bit, having her cheek pinched and pulled.
"Now you've noticed that?" She took a piece of the cake with her fork, bringing it up to Rena's mouth. Rena gladly accepted, taking the cake into her mouth and finishing it.
"I have such a conceited girlfriend. Tsk." Rena let go of Jurina's cheek, standing up. "Well, anyways, I have to get back to work. See you after?"
Jurina nodded, continuing to eat her cake. Rena quickly bent down and pecked Jurina on her cheek, going back to work with a smile on her face. After finishing her food, she paid and left, but not before hugging and kissing her girlfriend goodbye.
Rena was somewhat sad when Jurina left, but she was looking forward to what they would do after she finished her shift. She was excited, but time could not go any faster. A minute felt like an hour, and she still had two more hours of her shift to go. She continued working, and finally, the time had come for her shift to end. She kept a stare at the clock for the last minute, and once that last minute was finished, she darted into the employee room and threw her apron and nametag into her locker, grabbing her bag. She said her farewells, and sped out the exit of the cafe.
Once she got out, she turned to see Jurina , who was leaning against the wall and waiting for her. She walked with a hop over to Jurina, and asked, "Mm.. Where do you want to go?" Jurina took some time to think, then replied to Rena with a smile on her face. "Let's go to your house!"
Rena nodded, taking the idol's hand into her's and began walking. She then started to swing their hands a bit, and after a few seconds, she turned to Jurina and spoke up.
"Oh yeah, why do you want to go to my house?"
Jurina just shrugged, really having no idea why. "I don't know. It was the first thing that popped into my mind."
After a while of walking, they finally arrived at Rena's house, entering it. They took off their shoes, Rena telling Jurina to wait in the living room while she went to go and change. After changing into much more comfortable clothing, Rena came back to the living room, only to see that Jurina was missing. She walked up to a couch and looked around, but she couldn't see her girlfriend. Little did she know that Jurina was creeping up behind her, and before she knew it, Jurina jumped onto Rena, the two falling onto the couch.
Rena let out a yelp as she fell onto the couch, Jurina on her back. She squirmed around under the idol, trying to turn around. In the end, she gave up and decided to ask.
"Can you at least get off of me so I can lay on the couch properly with you on top of me?"
Jurina complied and stood up for a moment, and right when Rena had her back on the couch, the idol instantly went back on top of her. She straddled Rena, a smug look on her face. Rena saw and only raised a brow.
"Geez, you could've let me get into a more comfortable position." She tsked at the younger girl, crossing her arms over her chest and turning her head to the side and away from Jurina's face. There was a visible pout on Rena's face, and Jurina was not going to let it go unseen. "What's wrong, hm~?" Rena replied coldly to her, "Nothing." The idol smirked, leaning in close to Rena's neck. "Nothing is always something~" She breathed down Rena's neck, then sat back up, admiring Rena's face. The older was blushing like mad now, her heart beating faster and faster with each second. Jurina couldn't help herself anymore, letting out a laugh and pinching Rena's cheeks.
"You're so cute when you're flustered~" She smiled at the girl under her, letting go of her cheeks. Rena brought her hands up, rubbing her cheeks and pouting at Jurina. "That hurt, you know. You didn't have to pinch my cheeks that hard." Jurina smiled slyly, leaning down close to Rena. "Aww, should I kiss them better then?" She didn't give the other time to respond, taking her hands and removing them from her cheeks, then planting soft kisses on each cheek. She hovered her face over Rena's, watching the older's blank face. The idol tilted her head to the side, wondering what was wrong with Rena.
"Hm? What's up with you?" She poked the other's cheeks with both her fingers a few times, gasping in shock when Rena suddenly grabbed her wrists. In one swift movement, Rena had flipped them over onto the floor, Jurina on the bottom and her on top. She had pinned the idol's hands over her head, and leaning down to her ear, she whispered.
"Nothing's wrong with me. I was just admiring how cute you are, and how caring you are." She let go of Jurina's hands, sitting up and straddling the idol. "Oh, and also how cheesy that action was." She looked at Jurina's shocked face, which was now decorated with a light blush, and laughed a bit. After a while, Jurina snapped out of her daze, the corners of her mouth curving into a grin.
"You know, I think I like you being being dominant."

Whhoooaaa. This took so long, but I pulled an all nighter last night to finish this for you, so you should be happy. u.u But anyways, I don't like school. - n - It's taking away time from the internet. Well, here you go, chapter 14~~!!

The next morning, Rena woke up on the couch with Jurina laying on top of her. She saw the rays of sun come through the curtains and took a glance at the clock. "Only seven..." She thought to herself. Rena moved her gaze from the clock to Jurina's sleeping face and breathed deeply, careful not to wake the idol. She looked over every feature of Jurina's sleeping face. The way strands of her hair would fall over her face and her soft smile. She brought her hand up to Jurina's face, gently pushing aside the stray strands of hair from her face and tucking them behind her ear. She then pulled her hand away, admiring Jurina's face.
A few seconds later, Jurina stirred in her sleep, her eyes fluttering open. Rena smiled softly at the sleepy girl, whispering a good morning. "How did you sleep?" Jurina looked up at Rena, her smile becoming wider. "I slept great." She laughed, "And you?" Rena nooded in agreement with Jurina, "Mm. I slept great too."
Jurina went back to her original position, laying her head on Rena's chest and sighing contentedly. Rena had wanted to get up from the couch, but seeing as Jurina laid her head back down, she stopped herself. She decided to let Jurina stay as she was for a few more minutes. Just then, a question popped up in Rena's mind.
"Hey," she gently shook the younger one to get her attention. To Rena's dismay, Jurina did not get up. She shook her a few more times, but Jurina still did not get up. She knew that Jurina was messing with her, and annoyed by that, she scrunched her nose, threatening the younger.
"If you don't get up, I won't give you any kisses anymore." She huffed, then turned her head away from Jurina. Hearing the sudden statement, the idol immediately turned to face Rena, only to be faced with the elder's cheek. She jut her lower lip out, then, without warning, Jurina moved up and playfully bit Rena's cheek. The elder gasped, turning quickly to face Jurina.
"What was that for?" Rena whined, her hand coming up to rub her cheek and a pout decorating her face. Jurina's lips curved into a grin, letting out a giggle. "Aww, is my Rena hurt~?"
Hearing what Jurina had called her, she held in her gasp, her face turning into a shade of red. She couldn't even process what had just happened.
"Wh-What did you just call me?"
"Huh? Oh," Jurina smirked, "I said, you're my Rena."
"Y-yours?" Rena's face turned a shade darker, her hands coming up to cover face. "Don't~ It's too embarrassing."
Seeing Rena cover her face, Jurina sat up, straddling the older girl. She took both of Rena's hands, removing them from her face, staring into Rena's eyes. "Yes, mine. You're mine, and only mine. And you'll be mine, forever. My girlfriend."
"Stop it~" Rena turned her head away, only to have Jurina turn her head back to face her by the chin.
"Oh, come on, Rena." Jurina leaned in closer towards Rena, a grin on her face as she watched the elder girl's red face. " Would you rather I call someone else mine then?"
Rena gasped at the sudden question, pouting as she tried to turn her head away, but it was held firmly in place by Jurina. The idol raised a brow, "Well? If you don't answer me, I really will go and call someone else mine."
"No.. " Rena wrapped her arms around Jurina's neck, "I won't let you, because you're mine, and I won't let anyone else have you."
Jurina licked her lips, biting her lower lip. "Mm~ I like possessive Rena~" Jurina leaned down even closer to Rena in a teasing manner, their lips several inches apart. Rena couldn't take it anymore, how close they were, and Jurina knew. Jurina knew all too well. The younger girl could feel the elder's breath against her own lips, curving them into a grin. Not in the mood to be teased, and not being able to control herself anymore, she harshly pulled Jurina down, crashing her lips against the idol's.
This had totally caught Jurina off guard, but soon after, her eyes slowly closed, returning the kiss. Then, Rena started pulling Jurina closer to her, tilting her head to the side and pressing her lips against the others harder, as if she wanted to bruise the idol's lips. Slowly, Rena made her way down to Jurina's jawline, and like before, Rena swiftly flipped the two over and onto the floor, with Rena on top. She had pinned Jurina's hands up above her head by the wrists, and from the jawline, she made her way down to Jurina's neck, suckling and biting.
Feeling Rena's lips roam around on the surface of her neck, Jurina tilted her head a bit, allowing Rena better access to her skin. Just then, while lightly running her lips over the younger one's neck, Rena heard a quiet moan escape from Jurina. After hearing it, she smirked, going back to the place that she had just passed over and began to suck and bite on it. Jurina let out soft whimpers, clenching her fists. Hearing the whimpers, Rena backed away from Jurina's neck, marvelling the mark that she had left, then, moving up to Jurina's ear, she whispered, "Did you like that, hm~?" She slowly and gently licked Jurina's ear, earning a gasp and a soft moan from the girl.
Rena chuckled, letting go of Jurina's wrists, and sitting up, straddling the younger girl. After Rena had sat up, Jurina got up, leaning back on her elbows for support, biting her bottom lip and looking up at Rena.
"Like I said, I think I like you being dominant~"
"Oh, is that so~? Maybe I should be dominant more often then?" She gazed at Jurina's hopeful face, and then teased her. "Or maybe I should tease you and then leave you hanging and wanting for more?" Jurina's face immediately turned into a pout as she scrunched her nose. Rena laughed at the idol's reaction, "But that's only because I like you being the dominant one, you know?"
"Mm.. Really?" Jurina brought up one of her hands, cupping Rena's cheek, then moved it to the back of her neck. Rena leaned down a bit, nodding in reply to the question. "Mhm.. Really." Jurina gently pulled Rena closer to her and closed the gap between them with a soft kiss.
After a while, they pulled away from each other reluctantly, smiling. Jurina let herself fall back onto the floor, stretching out her body under Rena. The idol then began gazing at and staring down Rena's body. Noticing this, Rena looked down at Jurina.
"What are you doing?" Rena looked at Jurina with a suspicious look, crossing her arms across her chest.
The corners of Jurina's lips curved into a smile. "Oh, nothing. Just that your body looks so amazing. I just want to touch it all day long." The idol let out a laugh, reaching her hands towards Rena's body.
"You're such a pervert." Rena stated, scoffing. She had not noticed that Jurina was moving her hands closer to her own body.
"Only for you~" Ignoring Rena's statement, she let her hands touch Rena's knees, and continued to move them up her thighs.
Feeling Jurina's hands up her thighs, Rena grabbed them by the wrist, removing them from her thighs. "Stop it~" Rena stood up, releasing Jurina's hands and stretched. Even after she got up, Jurina was still laying on the floor. Rena narrowed her eyes at the younger one, "Aren't you going to get up? The floor's dirty, you know? Or is it that you want me to help you up?"
Hearing the last question, Jurina extended her hand, waiting for Rena to take it. Rena, however, gave an 'are you serious' face to her, but took her hand nonetheless. Rena feigned weakness as she tried to pull Jurina up. "Jurina~ You're too fat. I can't pull you up."
"Oh, come on. Put some more muscle into it. It's not that I'm fat, it's just that you're weak."
Upon hearing her girlfriend underestimate her strength, Rena stopped faking and used all her power to pull Jurina up, which probably wasn't a good idea. Using too much power with pulling Jurina up, Jurina had crashed into her and the both fell onto the couch in a sitting position, Jurina on top of Rena.
"Now I'm the one on top. Again." Jurina let out a laugh, wrapping her arms around Rena's neck. Rena nodded in agreement, smirking, "But just because you're on top, it doesn't mean you're the dominant one in this situation." Rena stuck out her tongue playfully, and taking the chance, Jurina quickly took it into her mouth, a sharp gasp escaping from the elder.
She continued kissing Rena, sucking on her tongue once in a while and earning a couple of moans. Satisfied, Jurina pulled away, her gaze still on Rena's lips. "Oh, is that so? So I'm not the dominant one in this situation?" She then moved her gaze from the older's lips to her eyes, leaning in closer. "Hm? Am I, or am I not?" She leaned in even closer, whispering into Rena's ear. "Tell me, Rena~"
Rena could feel Jurina's breath against her ear and down her neck, making her start to feel hot. To avoid it going further, Rena playfully pushed Jurina. "S-stop."
"Stop what, hm?" Jurina looked at Rena with a sly look, leaning in once again. Her face was getting closer to Rena's, but it was stopped by Rena's hand covering the idol's face and pushing it away a bit. "Stop whatever you're doing, of course. And don't you have work?"
This would be the time that Jurina would be panicking, since she was late for work, but luckily she remembered that she had taken some days off, and shook her head in response. "Nope, no work today. What about you? Don't you have to be at the cafe?"
"I do, but not until nine today." Rena replied. She was thankful that Yuka had pushed her schedule for that day back to nine instead of the usual seven thirty. "And it's only seven thirty, so I still have more than an hour."
Jurina nodded in understanding. "I see. Then... I'll go with you today then!"
"Eh? Are you sure you want to? I mean, you can, but you can also stay here, if you wanted." Rena wrapped her arms around Jurina's waist, pulling her closer.
"I'm sure! I want to accompany you. If I stay here, I might get too bored and spam your phone with messages." Jurina laughed a bit, leaning her head against Rena's shoulder.
Rena stopped for a bit, thinking. "That does seem like something you would do.. I guess you could come along with me."
Jurina lifted her head off of Rena's shoulder and her smile turned into a wide grin. "Yaaayy!!"
Rena laughed at Jurina's excitement, admiring the idol's features as she grinned and exclaimed out.
"Is this how it feels like to be in love? To have found true happiness?"

"Ah, shit.." Rena muttered under her breath. "I'm going to be late." Rushing around her house, she quickly put on her coat and her shoes, quickly leaving her house and jogging to the cafe.
It was mid December, and the cafe was in the festivities of Christmas. That meant more work hours for Rena. As for Jurina, she had been cast in a drama, and her fourth single was going to be released soon.
Rena made her way through the busy streets of Tokyo, and arrived at the cafe just before she would be considered late. Entering the cafe, she was panting lightly, making her way to the emloyee room to get her apron and name tag on. Upon arriving into the room, Airi greeted her.
"Look who made it on time! You were almost late, you know." Airi put her phone away, standing up and walking towards Rena.
Rena just looked at Airi, trying to slow her breathing. "Of course I know, or else I wouldn't be breathing this heavily."
After Rena got ready, the two of them faced the door. They stood in silence for a few seconds, then Airi spoke up. "Well, let's be two hell of a waitresses today." She smirked, readily opening the door, but she was stopped by Rena. "Have you been watching Black Butler again?" Airi sighed, "Yes, yes I have. Now, let's go be two hell of a waitresses."
With that, Airi pushed opened the door and the two of them went to work. The cafe was bustling with customers, and the warmth of it contradicted greatly with the coldness of the outside world. The bell that was connected to the door rang every five minutes, with people leaving and entering.
It was always around Christmas time that the cafe would be getting a myriad of customers, and it was the time that they made the most profit. But with good things, bad things always came with. Due to it being the holidays, Rena and Airi would have to work until close, or until Yuka gave them the okay to go home, which also wasn't until very late. That meant that Rena wouldn't have as much time to see Jurina.
Jurina and Rena tried to make as much time for each other as possible, but with all the work that was thrown at them, it didn't seem possible any time soon. Though, they were lucky enough to have notified their workplace that they would be taking Christmas Eve and Christmas off, giving them two days to catch up on what they've missed with each other.
Rena glanced at the clock. Ten more minutes and she'd be able to go on break. That meant finally being able to talk to Jurina again, if she was also on break, that is, and she couldn't wait for the time to be up. She continued to work hard, going form table to table, taking orders and giving said orders to the kitchen and coming back with them.
There was a minute left, and Rena was going to make sure she got the last order in before going on her break. She quickly grabbed the food from the counter and brought it to the table. She turned to quickly, and saw that someone was going to bump into her and the food. Rena spun quickly to the side, avoiding contact, and continued on. Of course her feat did not go unseen.
"Whoa!! I was right about what I said before we got out!" said Airi, who had seen her do that.
Rena motioned her to be quiet, but the customers that had also seen her applaused, and she bowed, thanking them. She took the food to the designated table, then went on her awaited break. She opened her locker and took her phone, checking for any notifications. Twenty messages, all from Jurina. She laughed softly to herself, shaking her head. She opened them and read them and smiled. She quickly sent a text back, then set her phone on the table.
She sat on the couch, relaxing before she would have to go back and serve people. It was quiet in the room, which of course, was perfect for relaxing. She closed her eyes, savoring the quiet, but soon, she was brought out of her relaxation process from her phone. It vibrated twice. She picked it up and looked to see what it was, and surely, it was a message from Jurina. She replied back, smiling. She forgot all about her plan of relaxation, opting to talk to a certain idol instead.
They talked for a long time, until Airi came barging in. "Rena! Your break is over! It's my turn!"
Before she put her phone away, she checked her messages one more time, reading the latest one that was sent to her from Jurina.
[text] Rena~ I'm free tonight, so I'll be coming over~
Rena smiled to herself, holding her phone close to her chest, then putting it away. But alas! She remembered that she had to stay until closing time. Taking her phone back out, she sent a message to Jurina.
[text] Jurina, I won't be home until late. I have to stay until closing time. So don't wait for me at home.
She closed her locker and exited the employee room. She went around taking orders with a smile on her face. She had to admit, ever since Jurina had come into her life, she'd been more outgoing andenthusiastic about things. For Rena, she'd never think that she, a girl who used to hate idols, would be actually going out with an idol. Jurina was totally different from Rena's impression of idols in general. Except for maybe the fact that Jurina was a bit cocky at first, hitting on Rena with every chance she got.
With the thought of Jurina and home in mind, Rena worked diligently, and the time passed quickly. But, time did no pass fast enough. It would be a long time before closing time and before she'd be able to go home, three hours, to be exact. She sighed, continuing on with her work duties.
With every customer that came through the door, the bell rang, and Rena greeted them. Lickily for Rena, there weren't a lot of people since it was getting late. As another ring came from the bell, she turned around.
"Welcome to Heart's Panic Cafe~!"
Maing eye contact with the customer who came in, Rena smiled widely and exclaimed at the customer. "Miyuki! What are you doing here?! It's so nice to see you after a long time!" Rena went over to Miyuki, giving the other a tight hug. She took Miyuki to a table and sat her down, asking for her order. After taking her order, Rena took it to the counter and waited for her order. When it arrived, she took it to Miyuki, sitting down across from her. They talked for a while, Rena turning around when the bell rang again.
This time, Rena smiled even wider, standing up from her seat and going to the door. This sudden action made Miyuki turn her head, her gaze following Rena. Her eyes came upon Rena clinging onto a girl's arm, and this surprised her. Since the two were far away, Miyuki couldn't quite hear their conversation, much less see the other girl's face. She would just have to wait until Rena introduced her girlfriend to her. She turned back to her food, taking a sip of her drink through a straw.
She heard the couple come closer, and slowly heard their conversation.
"There's someone I want you to meet, Jurina."
That name sounded familiar, but then again, it could've just been a coincidence. Rena and Jurina arrived at the table, and Rena spoke up.
"Jurina, this is Miyuki, my long time friend. And Miyuki, this is Jurina, my girlfriend." Even after three months with each other, it still felt weird to call Jurina her 'girlfriend'.
Miyuki slowly turned her head, gasping when her gaze fell upon the newly introduced girl's face. She stared in awe, exclaiming at Rena.
"Rena! How come you never told me that you were dating Jurina?! The idol, Matsui Jurina!" Miyuki stood up, taking the idol's hands and shaking them. But, that didn't last long, because Rena's hand came in between, taking Miyuki's hands off of Jurina's. Seeing this, Jurina finally spoke after being introduced to Miyuki.
"I think I like possessive Rena too." She laughed afterwards, continuing to speak. "It's nice to meet you too, Miyuki. Not to be rude, but I feel like I've seen you somewhere before."
Miyuki's eyes brightened up. "Could it be.. You've remembered me from one of your concerts?!"
Before Jurina could answer, Rena spoke up."Miyuki! You never told me why you're here."
With that, Miyuki snapped out of her daze with Jurina, answering Rena's long overdue question. "Oh yeah, I'm meeting with my girlfriend here. She told me that this was a good cafe, so we decided to meet here." She ended with a nod, checking the doorway. "Matter of fact, she's at the door."
The other two turned their head to the doorway, watching as the person entered. Miyuki raised her arm, waving to her girlfriend. "Over here, Sayaka~"
Jurina squinted at the other, mumbling to herself. "Sayaka? Why is that name so familiar? Don't tell me... That Sayaka? Rockstar Sayaka?"
As the other girl arrived, Miyuki clung onto her arm. Now that she was closer, Jurina got a good look at her, a shocked face upon her. "Sayaka?! You're dating Miyuki? Is she a fan of yours?"
Sayaka turned to look at the one who talked to her, equally as surprised as Jurina. "Ah, Jurina. What are you doing here? And who's that girl that's holding onto you so possessively? Yes, this is my girlfriend, and yes, she is a fan. I am dating a fan."
"Funny, Miyuki is also a fan of mine, isn't that right, Miyuki~?" Jurina grinned, looking at Miyuki.
Before Miyuki could say anything, Sayaka spoke up for her instead, shooting a glare towards Jurina. "Are you trying to flirt with her?"
"Oh, gods no. Rena would kill me for that. Rena is my girlfriend, aka, the girl that is holding onto me possessively." Jurina motioned at Rena, grinning. "And so, you finally took my recommendation into consideration, huh. Seeing as you're here."
Sayaka nodded, "I wanted to see how good this cafe was, since you're always talking about it. But I guess it's only because of your girlfriend that you say it's good."
"It is not because of her. This place is actually good. It's sweets are the best."
Rena and Miyuki were not even listening to their girlfriends and instead, talked to each other.
"So wait. Jurina is your girlfriend, and she's friends with Sayaka, who is my girlfriend. And we're both friends, so.. We should go on a group date sometimes!" Miyuki smiled, clasping her hands together.
Rena smiled with the other's suggestion. "We totally should! Let's bring Airi and Akane along too!"
Miyuki gasped at the mention of the two names. "I haven't seen them in forever! How are they?!"
"Actually, Airi works here. She's actually taking a break right now. I can go grab her if you want." She pointed to the employee room, waiting for Miyuki to reply.
"She does?! Yes, please! Can you? I want to see her!" Miyuki bounced ecstatically, wanting to see her other friend.
"Alright, wait here." With that, Rena walked back into the employee room, opening the door. She found Airi laying down on the couch, her eyes glued onto her phone. "Airi, Miyuki's here and she wants to see you, so come out and see her, will you?"
"Yeah, yeah. I'll come out and see Miyuki in a b-- Miyuki?! Here?! Why didn't you say that?!" Before Rena could reply, Airi bolted up, quickly exiting and spotting Miyuki, walking over to her. She pulled the other into a bear hug, huging her tightly.
"Uh, Airi. I can't breathe." Hearing that, Airi let her go, apologizing.
"Sorry, I'm just so happy to see you again after so long. What brings you here?"
Miyuki smiled and motioned to Sayaka. "I'm here with my girlfriend. Rena and I were talking and had an idea that we should go on a group date soon." She nodded, waiting for Airi's feedback. Airi nodded in reply,
"Yeah! We totally should! How about the weekend after Christmas?"
Miyuki and Rena nodded in reply. "Yeah, we can do that. It'll be so fun! We should go ice skating! And do things that couples do!"
"Okay, so then it's set? This weekend, group date?" Miyuki asked, wanting to confirm it and make it official.
Rena and Airi replied in unison. "Yup! This weekend, group date!"
"All right then~" With that, Miyuki went towards Sayaka, grabbing her arm. "Let's go, Sayaka. We've spent too much time here, and we only spent it talking, so let's go. We can come back here whenever." After saying that, the two said their farewells and left.
Rena looked at the clock, two hours left. They had spent a whole hour talking with each other, and luckily their coworkers were cool enough to have each others' backs, so that they wouldn't be scolded by Yuka. Before Rena could go back to work, Jurina stopped her.
"Wait. How many more hours until you're off?"
"Only two hours, why?"
"Okay. I can wait two hours, I guess." She laughed, taking a seat at where Miyuki previously sat.
Rena smiled, going back to work. She kept woking as the time continued moving, glancing back at Jurina once in a while. With the decrease of the time, the decrease of customers was there too, and that meant less work for Rena.
It was now down to the last hour, and there were less then fifteen customers. One by one, they slowly left. Seeing as there was no need for a waitress to be running around anymore, Rena went towards Jurina, taking a seat across from her. To her surprise, the idol was asleep. She marveled the sight, inching her finger forward to poke the other on the cheek. Luckily for her, the idol did not wake up. This sparked an idea in her mind. She quickly and quietly stood up from her seat, going back into the employee room and grabbing her phone. She went back to Jurina, taking multiple pictures of the sleeping idol. She even took a selfie with the idol. Feeling satisfied with the pictures, she went back to work, dropping her phone into the pocket of her apron.
Ten minutes left, and they were now closing. People continued to leave, one after another, as waitresses cleaned tables with rags, taking plates and utensils back into the kitchen. As they finished cleaning, Rena went over to Jurina, poking her cheek several times until she woke up.
"It's almost time to go home, Jurina." She smiled at the still sleepy idol, wiping the table. She had to admit, a sleepy Jurina was really cute, and without warning, she took out her phone and secretly took a picture, slipping her phone back into the pocket. She continued to clean the cafe up, then went into the employee room, taking her apron and nametag off and throwing them into her locker. She took out her coat and scarf, putting them on and then went out.
"I'll be going first then, girls~!"
Saying her farewells, she went back to Jurina. "Ready to go?" Jurina nodded, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and standing up. "Let's go~"
The two made their way to the exit and Rena said goodbye once more before the two exited out into the cold. Once out there, Rena clung onto Jurina's arm, resting her head on the idol's shoulder as they walked.
"So.. What was that you said about possessive Rena?"
Jurina's eyes widened, not knowing what to say. "I didn't say anything."
"Sure you didn't. Like I'd believe you~" She laughed, looking up at Jurina. "Just tell me what you said."
"Nope. Not telling you." Jurina stood firm in her decision of not telling Rena, a smirk on her face.
"Hmph." Rena huffed, a pout on her face as they continued walking home. They were getting closer, and Rena was computing a plan for revenge in her mind. As soon as they were in front of Rena's house, she opened the door, letting the idol in before she entered. They took off their shoes and coats, Rena making her way into her room, not even bothering to turn on any lights. She knew that the younger one would follow, and when the two of them were in there, Rena closed the door, taking Jurina and pinning her against the door. She crashed her lips against the others, pulling away moments later and leaving the idol wanting more. She left a couple inches in between their lips, speaking quietly.
"So.. Are you going to tell me? Or not?"
Jurina shook her head, smirking. She thought that if she denied, Rena would kiss her more. Oh, how wrong she was. Rena just grinned, letting go of Jurina as she took off her clothes and changed into more comfortable ones. After changing, she turned around and looked at the idol, stunned and still standing where she was. Rena got into her bed, facing the other girl.
"What are you doing? Aren't you going to go to sleep?" After a while with no response, she laid on her back. "Well, if you're not, you can come into bed later. Be careful and don't trip because it's dark in here."
Rena closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep. But it was hard to when you had a grin on your face because you know you finally beat your girlfriend at something. A few moments later, Jurina had walked towards the bed and straddled Rena, her arms over her chest. There was barely any light, save for the moon light and a dim nightlight in the corner of the room, so Rena could see, but just enough. She raised an eyebrow at Jurina.
"What's up with you?"
Jurina didn't reply to her question, instead, she crashed her lips onto the other's, kissing her. After a while, Jurina pulled away, breathing heavily. This only made Rena want more. She grabbed Jurina, flipping them over so that she was on top. She leaned in, their lips almost touching. "So, what was that about possessive Rena~?"
Jurina grabbed the collar of Rena's t-shirt, scoffing. "Stop teasing me and just kiss me." With that, she pulled Rena closer, their lips meshing together. Rena tilted her head to the side, her hands taking Jurina's and pinning them above her head. The kiss lasted for quite some time, and Rena's lungs were now screaming for air. She teasingly bit and tugged on Jurina's bottom lip, pulling away from the kiss, breathing heavily. Jurina had a sly grin on her face as she licked her lips.
"As expected, dominant Rena is sexy~"

Yo yo yo yo yo~~~~!!!! So. School has ended and I am on summer vacation~~ Yeah!! But how is that important? Because I will be able to have more time to write! Yeah. I miss this story too :thumbup It's well written, and one of the few WMatsui fanfics I really enjoyed reading.
Even if you don't make a season 2, I think a short epilogue would be a good idea to wrap up this story nicely :)
