Once again, AKB will hold a Janken Tournament (on 17th Sept) to decide the senbatsu members for their autumn single.
The prelims will take place on 8/8 at the AKB48 Group Summer Festival and will be livestreamed on http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv188250323 (http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv188250323)
All full and concurrent AKB48 members will take place in the finals.
SKE KKS prelims, 1 goes through to SKE prelims, where 8 go through to finals.
NMB KKS prelims, 2 goes through to NMB prelims, where 7 go through to finals.
HKT KKS prelims, 1 goes through to SKE prelims, where 5 go through to finals.
AKB Team 8 prelims, 3 goes through to finals.

On ANN tonight, Aki-P said the winner of the janken tournament will get a solo debut. For members who have already debuted, they will get a solo concert.
So far they haven't actually said anything about the janken tournament being to decide single senbatsu...

Well... Minami hasn't had any good record in winning Janken Tournament...
Would she be able to win at all?
Would she even be in place at all in this coming single?
I don't think she has ever place any from the previous Janken single
What's going to happen?
Individually, I hope Minami able to win the centre...
She hasn't been put in any of important position for a while now...
Some more it would not be long for Haruna or Minami to announce their graduation
So hoping to see them, go out in bang... or something...

Surprises pretty much in between but in the end that was what everyone was looking at and she won, making up for the election :nervous

I´m quite happy for Milky and several of my favorites made senbatsu :thumbsup But I couldn´t watch it. Anybody could write a mini review? best costume, same tactic for the winner as in previous janken? :P

I thought this year was the most entertaining so far. Lots of cute costume themes. :oops:
Some big points to watch:
- Takamina vs Sayanee. Obviously, but more so because of their costumes. You could easily pick out Sayanee from the group with all the blinking lights. :lol:
- Basically every battle with Kojiharu, and her cheering team. :nervous
Kojiharu: If I win, you need to join my Kojizaka46. Ikoma: If I win, you'll let me touch your breasts~ :P
- Jurina vs Yuihan (maybe not that interesting. but look at them battling in their pretty kimono)
- All the ones with HKT members. With Sasshi cheering crazy for all of them.
- Of course, the final with Kojiharu vs Milky.
- Another of course. The 38th single members announcement. Because it pretty much had everybody's oshimen in it. People probably totally forgot about the Janken after the W center announcement. Congrats Sakura. :thumbsup
Best Costume would probably be Paruru's Creamy Mami cosplay. Way cute. And that gap with her salty reactions made it pretty funny. :D
One thing I only noticed afterwards, was Annin changing to that sexy green dress for the ending. It's because she's also going to be in the drama "Kurofuku Monogatari", with Yukirin. (https://plus.google.com/101748015513264110691/posts/1fHQKEswvaW)

Watanabe Miyuki crowned AKB48's new Janken queen

On September 17, AKB48 held their annual event 'AKB48 Group Janken Tournament 2014 ~Kobushi de Kachitore! 1/300 Solo Debut Competition~' at Nippon Budokan. This year, Watanabe Miyuki (NMB48 Team BII, SKE48 Team S) was crowned the winner.
Unlike the past janken tournaments, the winner of this year's tournament was promised a solo debut. Watanabe, who defeated Kojima Haruna (AKB48 Team A) during the final round, expressed, "I feel that I am finally able to repay everyone who has supported me. I don't think a solo debut is easy, but I will do my best." The members who placed 2nd to 16th will be the senbatsu members for the coupling track.
At the end of the event, it was also announced that AKB48's 38th single will be released on November 26. Watanabe Mayu and Miyawaki Sakura will serve as the centers for this single.

Watanabe Miyuki to make her solo debut on Christmas Eve

NMB48 and SKE48 member Watanabe Miyuki, who was this year's winner of 'AKB48 Group Janken Taikai 2014', will be making her solo debut on December 24.
This announcement was made on November 3 during AKB48's handshake event at Makuhari Messe. While previous janken winners Uchida Mayumi, Shinoda Mariko, Shimazaki Haruka, and Matsui Jurina became the center for AKB48's singles, this is the first time that the winner was awarded with a solo debut.
Following Itano Tomomi (OG), Maeda Atsuko (OG), Iwasa Misaki, Watanabe Mayu, Sashihara Rino, Matsui Sakiko (Pianist), Kasai Tomomi (OG), Kashiwagi Yuki, Takahashi Minami, Kuramochi Asuka, and Matsumura Kaori (SKE48), Watanabe will be the 12th member from the AKB groups to make her solo debut. She is the first from NMB48 to make this accomplishment.
Besides the title track, Watanabe's solo debut single (currently untitled) will include a song sung by members who placed 2nd to 16th in the janken tournament with runner-up Kojima Haruna as the center.
During the handshake event, it was also announced that AKB48 will release their 6th album (currently untitled) on January 21. Furthermore, AKB48's annual event 'AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 1033' will be held from January 21 to 25 at Tokyo Dome City Hall. While they performed 200 songs last year, they are expected to perform all 1033 songs in order of ranking.
