Are you an in-shape male weighing between 64 and 86 kilograms and hate the films of controversial German director Uwe Boll?

If so, he wants to fight you in Vancouver as part of one of his films.  (http://www.canada.com/topics/news/oddities/story.html?id=887ba393-0372-4456-a081-ba1cfa01a723&k=45578)

If he's issuing this challenge, I presume he must have had some sort of training beforehand in order to hold his own. I hope one of the challengers is a Bruce Lee type of character. Still, anything for publicity eh?

Like his movies gonna be better if he beats up his critics :) With that logic, professional boxers should start making movies after retirement.

If that's making it's way into the movie, then I don't see the movie faring any better than his others.

I'm doing you a favour by warning you now, if you're a fan of the Far Cry games then don't watch, for everyone else, the new trailer is well worth watching for comedy value alone:

It's strange because I thought they cut out the bad acting when it came to making trailers, but apparently not. Seems like a really badly scripted version of Universal Soldier and there's even a joke about a gun shaped like a penis. Or the penis is like a gun, it's very subtle.

Wow. The boat jump was ridiculous. Other than that... well I've seen better acting on YouTube.

I's like to see Uwe Boll direct something else than movies based on games. Something with a decent story.
Title: Uwe Boll Will Quit Making Movies If One Million People Ask Him To
Post by: Foxy Brown on April 07, 2008, 06:13:28 PM
On Friday, hapless German auteur Uwe Boll, director of such critically unloved, money-losing video-game adaptations as Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne II: Deliverance, and recent epic In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, gave an interview to horror-movie Website FEARnet in which he was asked about this online petition to get him to retire from filmmaking, which, at the time, boasted around 18,000 signatures. "18,000 is not enough to convince me," said Boll. How many would it take? "One million," he answered. (http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2008/04/uwe_boll_will_quit_making_movies.html)
