AKIRA is a female model and actress. She regularly appears in magazines like KERA! and frequently dresses in danso even outside of work. She is also the lead vocalist for the band, DISACODE.

Some works that AKIRA has been featured in include the live-drama version of Ai Ore as Kaoru, and the musical adaption of Vampire Knight as Kaname. She has also released two solo singles, in which her first was used as the ending theme of Kuroshitsuji ~Book of Circus~.
