Prologue.
Yuki's pov.
It was the beginning summer when I first laid my eyes on her. With dark soft black hair in high twin tails, held by cream laced ribbons and milky smooth skin. Her eyes were a stunning dark brown and her lips had a tint of pink. Her petite figure made her appear as a little doll as she gracefully walked through the halls. No one had ever seen such a beautiful sight before which could mean that she was new to the school. She was a mystery to our class and no one had the courage to approach her. The girl just sat there peacefully at her desk staring out the window.
However she was unaware that she was being targeted, one boy boldly approached the girl and made a lame comment thinking he was going to attract her. Unfortunately for him, the boy was simply ignored and the girl kept staring out the window as if nothing had happened. The boy tried again this time more forceful and still no reply.
Aggravation was stained on his face but he managed to keep his pokerface on in the end continued to unravel a roll of cheap pick up lines. All of a sudden the girl turned her head and glared at the boy with the coldest stare ever, it was so intimidating it made the boy's spine shiver in an instant. The boy took the warning and walked away leaving the girl back to her peace.
She was just staring out the window and gazing at the cloudy sky and didn't even blink! It was as if she was searching for the sun that hid behind the white clouds, I'm not going to lie, I was hesitating to talk to her. Since she was in her own world, but I plucked up my courage and walked towards her desk.
"Hi, my name is Kashiwagi Yuki~"
Minutes of silence past and the girl was still gazing endlessly.
"The sky is beautiful isn't it?"
"It is." She replied.
"I like the light peach colour when it turns into evening."
"I love the warm radiant sunlight shining, when even upon the most darkest places."
She turned her attention towards me now and looked at me for a moment and then smiled,
"Watanabe Mayu."
From then on I felt a strong connection was made between Mayu and I, intertwining us as one. And and before I knew it, I started to fall for her.. those feelings just kept growing the more time we spent together...

Chapter 1.
Yuki's pov.

6 months later..
It's just another night and the stars to dispersed across the sky without remorse, each and every one of them glowed like little fireflies. Mayu sat at her oak desk in her dim lit bedroom and stared at the dark sky, wondering if she could ever see a shooting star.
All of a sudden there was a little bang at Mayu's window.
"Eh??" Mayu jumped out from her desk startled by the sudden noise.
She waited, nothing but silence and steady breathing filled her room..
*pang!*
"Kya!" Mayu gasped as she heard it again.
She took small baby steps towards her window, keeping cautious of what was outside. That's when she saw a familiar figure standing outside and she opened her window in an instant with her eyes wide open.
"Yuki?!" She shouted, Yuki put her finger against her mouth and hushed Mayu.
"What are you doing here?" Mayu loudly whispered across.
"I saw the twinkling stars and thought of you~" Yuki smiled softly, "so hurry up and get down here! I want to hold my very own twinkling star~"
Both of them giggled and blushed, Mayu rushed out of her tiny apartment and took off with Yuki into the night.
Moments later.. the two young girls lay'd on the grass, with their hair sprawled out by the riverside.
Yuki's pov.
I could hear your gentle heart beating in time with mine, you were lying next to me and I looked across and fell in love, so I took your hand and rested it against my lips, gently kissing it.
"Mayu.. *turns on side and wraps her arms around Mayu's petite waist*"
Your cheeks turned a shade of rose when I pulled you closer, your so cute~
"I love you my Mayu~ Forever and always..~"
"I love you to Yuki..~ Forever and always..~"
She leaned in closer to Yuki's lips, feeling her heart race with joy, Yuki felt Mayu's warm breath against her neck, she tilted her head down a little and both of their lips clashed, sealing each others love for one another.

The next morning.. Yuki woke up, stretching her arms up in the air, smiling from cheek to cheek.
Yuki's pov.
Last night was the most perfect night~ Her lips were so soft.. and her moans, a sound blessed by the angels~ I want to have more wonderful nights and days with my Mayu.. Maybe I'll take her down the amusement park sometime~ *Yuki sat at the dining table*
At that moment, another door opened revealing a dark tall figure. Yuki's smile vanished into thin air and she started eating her breakfast quietly.
"Ohayou Yuki"
"Ohayou Otou-sama.." Yuki avoided eye contact with her father, blankly staring down.
The sound of crunching burnt toast and sipping tea was the only noise in the atmosphere.. then unexpectedly Yuki's father put down his cup and called her name.
"This Friday you will be sent to Germany to complete your combat and military training."
Yuki looked at her father bewildered and in shock.
"You didn't even ask me! I'm not going to Germany! Why can''t I complete my training here?!" Yuki angrily slammed her hands on the table causing her glass to spill.
"There are too many distractions here." Her father coldly glared at her. "I can't have you wasting your energy on some silly little crush."
Yuki's face instantly turned pale and felt like she was choking on air. "H-how.. how did you find out..?"
"I have many different eyes watching you Yuki, so you better be aware." Her father gets up and leaves Yuki alone.
Heavy breathing and anguish filled the cold atmosphere.
Yuki's pov.
No this can't be happening!.. I don't want to lose my only happiness in this world..
Yuki's eyes started brimming with tears and her head bowed down.
"Mayu.. I'm sorry..."

Chapter 2. Part 1.
Yuki's pov.
No this can't be happening!.. I don't want to lose my only happiness in this world..
Yuki's eyes started brimming with tears and her head bowed down.
"Mayu.. I'm sorry..."

On the way to school Yuki kept thinking about what her father said.
"This Friday you will be sent to Germany to complete your combat and military training... I have many different eyes watching you Yuki, so you better be aware."
"How am I going to tell Mayu this...? *sighs*" Yuki mumbled to herself and dreaded the thought of facing Mayu, for she knew her lover's heart would be shattered. She reluctantly dragged her feet along the grey-stony pavement to school.
--at school--
Among the loud students, sat a small girl reading and smiling.
"Why don't you just grab her from that blasted balcony Romeo?!"
The small girl pouted cutely and mumbled under her breath. Continuing reading and completely ignoring her background, she could not feel the aura of anguish that was heading towards her.
Yuki's pov.
Well here I go..
"Mayuyu..?" She lightly tapped the shoulder of her quiet love who was entranced by a book.
"Hmm? *turned her direction to the taller girl* Oh! Yukirin~ Gomen I didn't see you there, ohayou~" Mayu beamed a bright smile which caused Yuki's heart to drop.
Yuki bit her lip hard, "Yukirin..? Are you okay..?" Mayu asked worriedly and gripped Yuki's hand reassuringly. Without saying anything, Yuki immediately dragged Mayu up to the roof.
"C-chotto! Yukirin!" Having trouble keeping up Mayu almost tripped, but Yuki kept running through the halls and stairs up to the rooftop.
*pant* *pant*
"Y-Yukirin..? W-What's gotten into you..?" Mayu asked, panting and out of breath.
Yuki rested her hands on her knees for a few mins and then walked closer to the twin-tailed hair girl and tightly embraced her. "My adorable baby Mayu.."
Mayu felt her cheeks flush and just as she was about to protest, a pair of plump cushiony lips landed onto her own. Even after a millions of kisses, she could feel herself melting like a marshmallow into her and Yuki's kiss. Yuki unwillingly pulled away, holding Mayu in her arms as tight as she could, if she held her any tighter she might of broke Mayu's tiny figure.
For a moment she looked deeply into Mayu’s eyes, the latter constantly feeling embarrassed with this particular gesture. Yuki always enjoyed teasing Mayu, yet nothing but sadness filled her eyes.
"Mayu.. I'm going away.. far away.. we won't be able to see each other anymore..."
Yuki bursted into a tidefall of tears and collapsed onto the floor onto her knees, unable to pick herself up...
Mayu's own eyes started overflowing with salty droplets, but her mind was still processing carefully every word Yuki had said.
"Y-yada.. zettai yada!!" Mayu screamed crying and crawled into a ball.
Both of the two girls both cried silently until the end of their break...

After school, both girls avoided eye contact, unable to look at one another. They held each others hand as tightly as they could, not saying saying a single word.
"Will I ever see you again..?"
A small trembling voice asked..
"I hope one day my Mayuyu... *grips her hand tighter and lifts up her chin with her other* but I promise you.. I won't be defeated by fate, eternity, my father or even God. I'm not going to loose, because nothing is powerful enough to keep our feelings from each other."
"Promise you'll never stop looking for me.. promise me you'll never forget..."
Mayu buried her face into Yuki's warm chest, holding back her tears while her lover stroked her soft black hair.
"I'll never forget, I won't. Neither memory or appearance will matter. I'll never stop looking for you as long as I'll live. No matter what I promise I will."
Mayu looked up to her one and only Yuki and shared one last sweet passionate kiss, savouring each other's warmth. Forsaken by the cruel world around them, their only hope was there love for each other, to guide them through this hardship.

It was only a few days before when Yuki told her, but as time passed on , it had turned to Thursday. Yuki and Mayu both tried to ignore it and tried to make each other laugh, secretly hiding their pain with a fake smile. After school, when Yuki and Mayu took their separate paths home, Mayu couldn't believe tomorrow she would have to picture her life without Yuki.
Mayu didn't feel like going home yet so she found a small park and sat on one of the creaky swings, slowly swaying back and forth. A flood of memories ran through her mind.
--flashback--
“Y-Yuki…” Mayu stuttered, staring at the taller girl in front if her, blushing.
The taller girl gently cupped Mayu's crimson cheek and gave her a peck on her small plump lips. Hopelessly she couldn't stop smiling and took hold of her lover's hand and dragged her out of the cafe.
Mayu's pov.
Mou!! I’m going to have a heart attack, if she keeps this up..~
Yuki couldn’t help but giggle at the smaller girl’s cuteness.
Both of them started lining up to ride on the ferries wheel, when they finally got on (surprise~ surprise~) they shared another kiss again, but one that was much longer and filled with lust.
--end--
Then Mayu remembered what Yuki had promised her..
"I promise you.. I won't be defeated by fate, eternity, my father or even God. I'm not going to loose, because nothing is powerful enough to keep our feelings from each other."
All of a sudden a bizarre idea popped into Mayu's brain, she instantly got up and ran as fast as she could.
Mayu's pov.
If unstoppable time is going to separate us apart,
I want to stare at you more,
I want to hold you forever,
time is slipping away..
If tomorrow is coming, I do not need anything else. I just want you to keep smiling always..
Forever more and always...
Mayu finally stopped and panted, stopping outside a strong fenced house. Mayu sneaked into the back of the garden, however whilst climbing over the she gained some bruises and scratches.

Sighing heavily and a fair skinned girl stared at a photograph, in the photo was two girls smiling ear to ear.
Yuki's pov.
I remember, even now..
The summer I found love... In the clearing sky the fluffy cumulus clouds quietly multiplied in the blink of an eye. I felt so uneasy when you didn't answer me, but then you suddenly simply smiled back. I felt relief in just that action
and was happy...
*pang!*
"Eh?!" Yuki gasped surprised.
Yuki took small baby steps towards her window, keeping cautious of what was outside. That's when she saw a familiar figure standing outside and she opened her window in an instant with her eyes wide open.
A small girl stood outside smiling and gestured Yuki to open the door, Yuki crept down stairs as carefully as she could, not wanting her father to catch her. she opened the door and led Mayu up the stairs into her room.
"What are you doing in here?" she whispered.
"Yuki.. you promised you wouldn't be defeated by fate, eternity, your father or even God. And that nothing is powerful enough to keep our feelings from each other. right?"
Yuki stared at Mayu eyes deeply and nodded.
"Then lets leave! lets runaway together, just you and me..~ please..." Mayu smiled for a second then tears overflowed from her sparkling eyes.
Yuki was speechless, for a moment a million thoughts ran through her mind but as soon as she felt the warmth of Mayu's hand on hers, she nodded and smiled back at her crying girlfriend.
"Let's go then~ To our own world, just the two of us~"
