TOKYO (Reuters) - A Japanese boy burned down his home, killing his stepmother and two younger siblings, for fear his parents would find out he had lied about his score on an English test. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060626/od_nm/japan_grades_dc)

hmmmmm took 3 lives just so they don't see his grade, good job idiot
-
wow.. he must have been real scared of his parents.. :(

"What!? You only received an A- in English instead of an A!?"
Why do I imagine it is something similiar to that. :sweatdrop:

Anyone that thinks killing your family is not as bad as getting punished for a bad grade has some serious issues.

That was REALLY close to where I live. (about 10mins)
He set the fire on the stairs inside the house, so the people on the second floor couldn't get out. :(
It's scary common for family members to kill each other in Japan, and it's usually over something as stupid as this.
