Title : Sorafune ( Theme of NTV's dorama 'My☆Boss My☆Hero' )
Limited Edition A : DVD of the 'Sorafune' PV
Limited Edition B : DVD of the 'Sorafune' B-side PV.
Regular Edition : Bonus track
First collaboration of it's kind for Johnny's with Nagashima Miyuki penning music and lyrics, arrangement by Funayama Motoki who did 'Ambitious Japan!' and 'Ashita wo Mezashite' with Tokio.
YOSHI!! Time to go watch Tomoyan's NEW dorama!! ^o^

It's Nakajima Miyuki. She seems to be short on money or something because she wrote a song for Kahara Tomomi as well o_O; She's hella good songwriter though!

So I had my first listen to Sorafune at the end of My Boss, My Hero and I like it. Can't wait to hear a version without everyone talking over it. XD

According to our official Johnny's sources, the other A-Side of this upcoming single is titled "do!do!do!" and will be used in a series of XBox 360 commercials in Japan.

Personally, I like the two limited edition covers more, because they actually have TOKIO on the cover. XD
However, we have to recall that the regular edition DOES have a bonus track, but in this case, there is also ANOTHER bonus track if you get the first press.
The regular bonus track that will forever be available despite which press is titled "Replay", while the special first press bonus track is "Sorafune (Acoustic Version)". Actually, the first press regular edition sounds great to me! XD
EDIT: Also, note that in the past it was believed that the limited editions would hold a third track as the backing track for whichever song that single focused on. However, in this case, the limited editions only hold the two a-sides (and of course one of the PVs).

You want three versions with the same cover? XD I haven't seen that before, personally.. but whatever floats your boat. In fact, if you need a boat to float, just get the regular edition. ;)

Only Suki knows how desperately I was searching for a preview of the Sorafune PV after seeing that something had been on Mezamashi TV earlier in the week. The story ended with me never finding that preview, but this weekend I finally came after the short preview version of the PV on youtube!! Yatta! ... forgot to post it though.

As encouragement for the ladies.. you get to see Nagase in a wet white t-shirt. For everyone else, it's a great song, and it's hilarious to be watching Nagase's character on My Boss so long and then see his mouth making such high pitched singing. XD

I like very much how the last couple of Tokio's PVs since 'Ding Dong!' have been directed by Mabo. He's getting better at it though I did kinda think of Kan8's 'Osaka Rainy Blues' PV with the rain and the umbrellas. But!! I liked how they were all arranged round Tomoyan in the other parts of the PV~!! ^o^

I think he was commenting from the unknowledgeable, non-rabid-fangirl, new listener sort of view point. :P
I know that after watching Nagase's character in My Boss, it just doesn't seem right that those vocals belong to him. :P

To start off the new week in a great way, TOKIO's new double a-side single, Sorafune/do!do!do!, has debuted on the Oricon daily charts at No. 1. (Surprise, Surprise!)
With positive listener feedback, two catchy lead tracks, and a popular dorama promoting one song and XBox 360 ads promoting the other... I expect this single to do very, very well. I look forward to following it's progress this week.

TOKIO's single, Sorafune/do!do!do!, finished it's first week on the oricon with a weekly ranking of No. 1. Exactly what we expected from such a great single. Into the start of it's second week, it is ranked No. 4 on the daily charts.
Congrats to the five guys of TOKIO on the great single!

I liked 'Reply' from the single quite a bit, not for any other reason but coz it let me hear more of the others. XD I could do with hearing more of Yamaguchi Tatsuya!! :kgreat:
