This is ridiculous.  Why would they even report this to the public?  Man...it just gives the "potential thieves" ideas and those who were near becoming thieves are now given more incentive.  This just reminds me of the TTC in Toronto announcement a month or so back that the drivers would not be enforcing the fares which basically meant people could get on the bus or subway without paying.

^ maybe it's a ploy.. you know, to get people to steal. some poor bastard walks in wanting to steal a pack of hersheys but walks out with cuffs... Justice is served indeed.

Their security sucked to begin with. None of those black things on the ceiling really even have cameras in them…
